Challenge (Rein)
Sorelu sat crosslegged on a stone a hundred feet above the crushing water. Water poured over his head from above. His eyes were closed to avoid being blinded by the sun. Above him water tumbled over a cliff to its two hundred foot drop down to the crushing abyss below. The river below was shallow and hand many sharp rocks in it and on either side of the river was a clearing before the dense wood took over again.
A perfect sphere of water floated directly in front of Sorelu. Sorelu meditated here often, expanding his mind in an attempt to locate his spiteful enemies. Sorelu heard an unusual rustle of bushes, but ignored it. He heard the splash of water from below and he knew it was no ordinary forest creature. Sorelu dropped the sphere, stood up and demanded, "Who disturbes this place?" A figure below narrowly avoided the falling mass of water that Sorelu had dropped. SOrelu then leaped off into a canopy of trees and then hopped his way down using some rather thin branches. Then he saw who had come to this deserted place. "Leave here now or I will be forced to kill you!" Sorelu warned. |

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: Yeah, I suggest you delete the other two battles. I am using my character Vane Dayrose (ironically he's the only one not in my sig yet)
BiC: "This is your area?" the man's voice returned at Sorelu. "I like my privacy," the elf returned. "I am Vane Dayrose and I have heard from an affiliate of the fallen Zolts that you are one that has power to match. Sorelu Amil. "The Zolts? What relationship have you with them?" "None. I came here looking for a challenge. There is this demon, Rein Aeria, whom is going to soon take down my entire dimension and I require a good training partner. I unconditionally selected you. Normally I would never even consider doing this, but I am afraid I have no choice this time. I beg of you that you allow me hone my skills against your blade," Vane explained, jumping off of a tree branch and landing next to Sorely with his sword drawn. OoC: Normally I don't do posts that short, but I wanted you to make Sorelu's reply.

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: Well crap. The comp said there was a fatal error so I tried two more times. I didn't know that it posted it with the "fatal error". In any case i don't know how to delete threads so, if you don't mind please tell me.
BiC: Sorelu sighed and declared,"So be it, if you want to train I shall only have mercy so you don't die. But until you are near death, I suggest that you arm yourself." Sorelu leaped and Vane who drew his Red Cell at the same time Sorelu drew his blades. The blades crashed together scaring some birds off in the near by trees. As soon as Sorelu was blocked he rolled in mid air to his left side and wiht his second blade struck Vane in the side. Vane flew into the water narrowly avoiding the rocks and waterfall. Vane quickly recovered onto land. He then charged Sorelu with Red Cell and had Black Cell ready. Sorelu easily blocked and was about to parry when he saw Black Cell, but it was too late, Vane fired a Sorelu quickly dodged to the side, distracting him from his counter blow and making him lose his balance. Vane took this opportunity to strike hard but, Sorelu being the swordsman he his, blocked it but fell over. Vane took this oppotunity to shoot Sorelu in the knee. The bullet passed right through his knee and burried itself in the earth. Then Sorelu's image slowly faded away, and before Vane could realize what had happened, Sorelu leaped out of the lake and struck Vane's back who fell to the ground. Sorelu's attack was soon followed by a crushing wave that threatened to drown Vane. Vane then leaped into the air, past the water, spining rapidly and then started his Mad Spray technique. Sorelu dashed and jumped out of the way of the many bullets, one clipping his cheek and another nailing his palm. The skin broke then Sorelu heard the bone crack and then the skin broke again, leaving a hole the size of a pommel of a sword. Sorelu dropped his righted hand wielded sword and fell bleeding madly. Sorelu could feel the pain with all of his senses. His visoin went red, he tasted and smelled blood. And he could hear the pained laughing of Vane. Vane aimed his Black Cell at Sorelu again, this time sure he wouldn't get away and fired. Before Vane could fire, several rocks flew into the shaft of Black Cell. The gun being made by the God of Life still fired and did not explode as Sorelu had intended but the recoil set Vane flying into several trees. The bullet never hit Sorelu, for as a last defense Sorelu sent the bullet whizzing away with a blast of wind. Sorelu stood up now having to fight with just his left hand and his elements. Vane emerged from the woods bloodied and limping and raging mad. OoC: Well then let it begin. And by the way I love Vane as a character, he is the first one I've seen with a gun . (Besides Drago's future form) |

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: You know... Wave, I'll battle you on the side if you want, but this is just between us. I actually read Wave's bio and it's pretty good, so pm me if you're interested. ^^;; Also: You're much better than I expected, Tim! Sorelu is also an awesome character, tis why I challenged you. This is gonna be a great one!
BiC: "Well then, this is nothing less than I hoped for," Vane laughed as he let himself fall into his stance with Red Cell. "You see, I become more powerful the more I use a certain statistic because of this curse that was placed upon a long time ago. I thought that it would be a good thing to have cast on me because it would help me train better, but I had no idea that the side effects would be so bad. Since I made that terrible decision I have to use the good side of it to the fullest; so hit me as hard as you can!" Ending his speech, Vane shot forward, breaking the sound barrier and planted his knee right into Sorelu's face. Though it was fast, Sorelu had seen it and had allowed the blow to land so that he could quickly counter with a quick slash to Vane's arm, breaking the skin so that blood shot out in small bursts. After fourteen billion years of fighting Vane couldn't really feel minor wounds like that anymore, this Sorelu had not anticipated and he failed to lay down a finishing blow because Vane was not stunned. Seeing Sorelu pull back the strike that he knew would fail, Vane let Red Cell loose on Sorelu's chest and tore through the armor, barely cutting the skin beneath. "Damn!" The Savior of Silronia yelled as he realized that Sorelu had just fallen out of reach of a good blow. The chest wound did not really bother the elf, it just made him open his mind to the thought that close-range combat with this guy wasn't such a good idea. Then again, he also had to watch for those moments when Vane pulled out Black Cell and fired. The elf recoiled even further from Vane and disappeared in a flash. Vane had correctly assumed that Sorelu had teleported away and was now at a good vantage point. Though Sorelu was very skilled in the arts of combat, his experience paled in comparison of Vane's billions of years as an "honorary god" of Silronia. Phoenix sheathed his weapon and looked around, gaining knowledge of his surroundings so that he could use the elements to his advantage. Sorelu found himself up on a branch to to the south of Vane's location hidden in the leaves of a nearby oak.To his left was a rather dense part of the forest that seemed as though the trees were seamlessly intertwined. Down below his hiding place was a sandy cliff and a waterfall; rocks could be seen down at the bottom. Behind him was the clear air that hung above the thousand-foot drop of the cascading falls. Up above was much more a forest canopy than it was an open sky; there were a few cracks here and there, but for the most part it would be difficult to use any sort of air elemental abilities here. "That's it! I think I have it now, I just have to make sure that Vane doesn't see me," Sorelu laughed as he put his hands together. Vane stood in place the same as he had been, waiting for the slightest crack in a branch or wrinkling of leaves to give off Sorelu's location. He had heard the elf's voice from the south, but the sound had bounced off of the dense trees and the location was obscure. All he could do now was ready himself for some sort of assault. OoC: I left it like that so you could make Sorelu do whatever you want ^^;;

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: Oh goodie! What can I think of today?
BiC: Sorelu focused on his inner maigc because the spell he needed was very complex and takes upmost focus. In front of Vane a large boulder rose from the ground, then another smaller one and slowly formed a humanoid figure. Vane after billions of years of experience saw this as a threat and immediatly attacked it. Vane came in fast and hard threatening to shatter the boulders but before he could reach it a flurry of arrows from a hundred different directions struck him and sent him limping back to his respective place. Phoenix knew that there were only two ways to stop this spell, one being to destroy it before the spell was completed. So Phoenix darted from vantage point to vantage point bombarding Vane while still putting the spell together. The humanoid was cmplete and water flowed from the near by river toward the Golem filling its insides. Then the Golem pounded toward the fallen sword, Avenger and picked it up. Immediatly the sword turned into a whip-like instrument made out of water Sorelu let the rest of his magic flow from him and to give him full magical control of the Golem. The Water Golem slammed his rock-hand into the ground and he melded into the ground. Before Vane realized what was happening the Golem emerged from the rocky earth and backhanded Vane sending him tumbling to the ground. As soon as Vane lay still the Golem lashed out his whip and it wrapped around Vane's ankle. Vane was yanked in and the Golem's rock-hand reformed itself into a sword-like shape and impaled it through Vane's right calf. The Water Golem sank back into the ground and reappeared several feet away. Vane cried out in pain and fell to the ground. At that Sorelu sent more arrows from a thousand more directions sending one straight through Vane's left shoulder. Vane yelled out again, this time more weakly. How was he supposed to defeat Sorelu when he can't see him and his pet Golem, who is amazingly powerful. Ideas from fighting seemingly invincible opponents from his past went whirling through his pained head, but disappeared every time a throb sent a fresh wave of pain. Vane pushed himself up not willing to give up. He knew that to fight the Zolts he needed this kind of training, hard and brutal. He could not focus and his ideas dissappeared with the throbbing pain. Frusturation grew inside of him until he started to feel his skin harden. He smiled, then stopped not bearing the immense pain that came with it. Sorelu saw a faint aura arround Vane and then it burst out in a green flurry. All of Vane's pain had vanished, though he could still not use his right leg. He leaped at the Golem and struck him in the center boulder, shattering it. Water burst from the Golem and knocked back Vane. The Golem's shattered torso immediatly returned to where it was and the Golem was left unscathed. OoC: Good fun, you gave me an opportunity and I took it! |

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: Ooh... nice post! One thing is that you said Vane needed to train to fight the Zolts, but he is trying to fight Rein Aeria. He has no interest in fighting Zolts.
“Tch… I can’t fight that thing without my leg,” the former Galactic Six member growled as he slowly began plucking the arrows from his body. The golem still stood, erect before him. “After fighting Rein Aeria for all those years this guy should be no problem… Shame that I haven’t fought in so long.” With that, he closed his eyes and used his senses to try and locate Sorelu. Phoenix, still in hiding went to take another shot at the man, but as soon as he strung his bow Vane was gone. The golem still stood, confused at the disappearance of his prey. “Where could he have go-” he was cut off as Vane dropped down from behind and put his arms around the elf’s neck. The air was quickly cut off and Sorelu actually convulsed for a second from the sudden loss of oxygen. “You shouldn’t have knocked your arrow at the exact moment that the wind had stopped blowing. The water alone was not enough to hide the sound of your string, even though you performed the move quickly and silently,” Vane hissed into Sorelu’s ear. “If only you could comprehend the power of the one I wish to kill perhaps you would use a tactic that could challenge me, maybe even injure me more!” “Get… off!” Phoenix yelled as he sent his free arm flying back, knocking Vane off of the perch. “You don’t know what I have been through either, so don’t judge me! I’ll give you something to be afraid of!” “Whatever, we’ll see what you can do!” Vane yelled as he removed Red Cell once again, dropping Black Cell onto the ground as if it were some child’s twig that he had no more interest in playing with. Sorelu had no time to react to the speed of Vane’s bullet and was hit directly in the left half of his chest, blood spattered all over the surrounding brush. The elf gasped and let out a painful whimper. Instead of firing again and finishing his opponent, Vane decided to try and milk him for all the practice he could get. Besides, The Savior could never kill an innocent. Sorelu watched with eyes half closed as Vane disappeared and reappeared down behind the golem. Letting his breath fly out of his lungs, he outstretched his arm and beckoned the back of the beast to come, somehow knowing that the colossus would respond. OoC: This post seemed meager... oh well, I was gone for four days and came back to 4 battles to post in so... yeah.

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: Grr! You found the golem's weakness!
BiC: The golem turned toward Sorelu, who whispered a few words, and the force holding the rocks together vanished and they fell to the ground. Vane watched in surprise as the one who caused him so much trouble left the mortal plane. Vane has had his experience and knew what to look for, so he glanced at Sorelu's chest. He gasped in suprise. The wounded elf was no longer there. Vane frantically turned around to find his foe standing weakly behind him. Sorelu's pain was melting away as Vane watched the hole in Sorelu's chest shrink and heal, seemingly on its own. "A nice side effect of the golem," said the elf. "It heals any serious wounds of mine when he dies." "Did I kill the golem?" wondered Vane. "I didn't even touch him--" "It is impossible to kill one of my golems," the Phoenix interupted. "You managed to hit me, causing me to lose focus on the spell and focus on the pain at hand." Sorelu laughed. "All you had to do was touch me, but you decided to shoot me, a dreadful mistake." Sorelu was now treating Vane to his most pleasant smile. "Why are you--" demanded Vane, but he was cut short as he heard Sorelu's shirt ripping. Fiery orange wings were sprouting from his back. Sorelu snapped them out showing their full force. At the same moment a gust of air buffeted Vane. Sorelu jumped into the air, wings spread. He dived toward his opponent with astounding speed. Both swords were glowing, flames engulfiing them. Vane saw this opportunity as a chance to strike back. He quickly aimed Black Cell and fired at his opponent once more. Sorelu knew that Vane would do this and right before Vane shot, Sorelu sent a pebble whizzing at the trigger. The trigger bent and when Vane shot it did not come back out. No more shots from that gun. Sorelu flicked up his sword, which now felt much lighter to him right that before, and sent the bullet into the falls harmlessly. He swooped by Vane and slashed his wounded leg, sending a fresh wave up pain through Vane's entire body. Vane tried to shoot Sorelu again but was stunned to see that he could no longer fire his weapon. Vane swore in the blackest oaths he knew and drew Red Cell, it was to be a clash oof the blades. Sorelu turned around and hurtled toward Vane. Sorelu smashed both of his swords down on his opponent who blocked just in time to send Sorelu bouncing off. Sorelu touched foot on a tree, which splintered as he kicked off again toward Vane. Vane was backing up now, buying as much reflex time as he needed. Sorelu's blazing swords met Red Cell, sending white sparks fizzling into the cold river water. Vane parried to only be blocked by one of Sorelu's sheaths. Sorelu thrusted back, his left handed sword evaporated into the air, literally dodged around Vane's defences and solidified again just in time to stab deeply in between two of Vane's right ribs. Simultaneously, Sorelu's right handed sword suddenly turned into several hundred pounds of dense rock. Sorelu brought down his mighty weapon upon Vane's shoulder. Vane was mostly held in place by Sorelu's other sword, but he still managed to avoid a direct hit with the rock-sword. The stony sword clipped Vane's shoulder. Vane listened to his own shoulder shatter. Vane's world turned red with pain. Sorelu withdrew both swords back to their elementless form, and he flew back from Vane. "You don't know what I've been through, you shouldn't have judged me!" spat Sorelu. Vane barely heard what Sorelu hand said over the painful ringing in his ears. The Savior fell helplessly as the Earth underneath him came rushing up to meet him. Sorelu cautiously watched Vane fall, he knew that it was not over yet. Vane was too powerful to be so easily defeated. OoC: This is probably the longest post I've ever posted! ![]() |

Re: Challenge (Rein)
“…Bastard!” Vane yelled as he threw his working arm forward to push himself out of the dirt. He felt humiliated, but angrier with what this ‘child’ was telling him. “I have been alive for fourteen billion years, you little prick! I have watched my mother, sister, and children die at the hands of people who hate me just because I am the brother of one of the vilest beings in existence! My very own brother, Wolf, was the worst god to be born in all of history, as he used his power to enslave all residents of the dimensions he controlled. I chose the path of a demon so that I could remove him from power, and I did. I killed my brother in his sleep, and then returned and slew the ruler of Inscarem, and became, literally, the Satan of Silronia. Don’t you dare tell me I have no idea what you’ve been through!”
Sorelu’s eyes widened at the sudden outburst that came from the opponent that was nearly dead a second ago. He watched with surprise as the man stood up on the leg that had been maimed. Vane grabbed his shattered shoulder as a black glow surrounded the wound. His other fist clenched in pain. For some reason no blood came from the wound. The elf’s eyes then wandered over to Black Cell, which was missing half of its barrel. “I can substitute Christof’s cells for my own if I have to. The cells of Black Cell can replace the bone you broke, and make it even stronger than before,” Vane explained as a grin crossed his face. “Since you’ve pissed me off so much, I do believe I’ll show you a little something that I haven’t done since the first time I fought Rein Aeria,” The Savior grinned as he clapped his hands together. A burst of red energy shot from his feet and the ground beneath cracked, sending stones flying into the air. Sorelu moved his hands over his eyes to protect himself from the stinging surge of pure power that was being released into the atmosphere. “Damn!” Sorelu yelled as he pulled back several feet. He stayed suspended in air, searching for a hint that might give off Vane’s next move. No matter what he does he can’t win, I won’t let him do something that powerful, he though. The aura on Vane made a not so smooth transition from yellow to green, but it seemed much different than the original transformation. If Sorelu had known anything about Vane’s aura transformations he would have been able to see that this was no mere transformation. The aura did not stay on the body like last time. Instead of Vane transforming himself, it appeared as though he was creating a separate entity. The aura almost immediately switched to white as the entire thing separated from his body and became what looked like another Vane. Sorelu was not going to stand and watch this any longer and decided that it would be a good idea to interrupt the attack. He shot forth like a bullet and charged up both of his swords with azure water and struck at the aura, but they passed right through it. Being that Vane was behind the aura, he tried it again with his opponent, but by the time he had gotten behind the aura Vane was gone. The Phoenix hit the ground, perplexed.. The white aura stood behind him and the real Vane was nowhere to be found. “Burn in me the flames of Inscarem! The inferno of the immortals themselves, capable of bringing about the end of all mankind, BURN IN ME!” Vane’s voice came from up above the trees. Sorelu’s head jerked up to see the avatar of Silronia coming down, completely covered in a bluish-black flame. Vane was about one hundred meters above Sorelu, but he could still feel the heat of the enigmatic flames. At that moment he saw that the white aura of Vane was running in a rapid circle around him and the centripetal force of the swirling winds that it was creating prevented him from moving. Within seconds, the tiny gusts of wind had evolved into a colossal twister. There was no more forest anymore, as everything was engulfed, with Sorelu in the middle. The high winds had sucked him directly into the center of it and he was stuck in midair, his body completely bound. His eyes moved down to see the white aura of Vane standing at the bottom with what looked like a bladed, black, circular hat. It was identical in color to Black Cell, and Sorelu knew what it was. Just then, the aura threw the weapon like a Frisbee directly up into the winds. The blade was being pulled by the winds towards the center and it was getting dangerously close to Sorelu, cutting him a couple times. It was then that Vane came down with his blade and in two strikes, completely severed the wings off of Sorelu’s back. He landed on the spinning blade and was being brought around by the tornado. The elf had no time to scream or anything, as Vane, who was being pulled around in a cycle by the winds was taking hundreds of shots every second, each one breaking skin. The armor that had covered Sorelu at the beginning of the battle was completely torn to shreds, along with most of the flesh on his arms, legs, and torso. The blackish flames that surrounded Vane were causing Sorelu’s skin to burn and the winds themselves caught flame. The entire thing had become a prodigious cyclone of obsidian conflagration. Just when Sorelu was about to blank out, the ground and air itself began to shake, which slightly opened his eyes. It opened them enough for him to see the aura at the bottom now wielded a sword that was completely red. He knew that Vane must have transferred Red Cell to it. The shape of the blade was now a thick broadsword, and a red flame surrounded it, growing ever larger. Vane flew by once more, blatantly showing off what looked like an orb of the obsidian flame concentrated in his hand. It had been about five seconds now since he had noticed Vane and his entity charging up the two variations of flame. Guess I’ll have to hold back on this one a little so I don’t kill him… He isn’t in his strongest form, he might die, Vane thought to himself as he let off a nod to the white aura at the bottom. At that, the entity tightened its grip on the red blade and sent the powerful, crushing blade straight into the earth below. Vane up above let loose the black orb of obsidian flame at the same time. The result was more than amazing. The size of the cyclone increased several fold, and swirls of black and red flames completely ate the entire thing up. As soon as the first two particles of hellfire and obsidian fire met, the entire thing discharged. Five hundred acres of forest was gone, just like that. What remained was a massive crater with Sorelu lying right in the center. Vane sat, perched on the top of the depression. “Guess I went too far…”

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: I can't come up with anything clever at the moment.
BiC: Sorelu felt as though the heavens themselves were crushing down on him. He only saw blots of red that only renewed his pain whenever Sorelu moved his eyes. He could no longer feel his wings; an unbearable sum of pain replaced them. He only heard the roar of the cyclone that used to surround him. He smelled fresh fire, bringing tears to his eyes. He knew that the forest was decimated. How he loved that forest is beyond any creature's understanding. He weakly opened his eyes and saw not of his surroundings, but the memories of his traumatic childhood. "Sorelu," his mother said with a broad smile. "You're father is going to war." Sorelu had known that it was bound to happen, because of the recent invasions. His mother's smile melted away as she saw that he knew the full implications. "He won't be back for a long, long time." Sorelu was very attached to his father, they did everything they could together, and when it cam time for him to leave, Sorelu was cast into a stage of loneliness. The other three Elven children ignored his presence, even though he was the king's son. Sorelu had always dreamed of the day that his father would comeback. He would be on a magnificent white horse, bestowed with jewels and riches, recovered from the humans. Every one would be happy. Feasts would be given upon his return. Gifts to the royal house would be a constant. Sorelu would have recovered his father. That day never came. His mother came into Sorelu's quarters dressed in a black gown. She was weeping. "Sorelu, your father was killed." She said with a fresh wave of tears. "He was slaughtered by magic." Sorelu stood stunned. How could the King of Ingfi, his father, his only friend be gone? A fiery vengeance rose up with in him and soon consumed him. All Sorelu wanted to do was destroy the humans. He destroyed their empire, and took everything they had. He demolished an entire empire, why could he not stand against a single foe... Sorelu now felt no pain. His anger was blazing fire, waiting to be unleashed. Sorelu stood, his eyes fixed on Vane and determined to kill him. Sorelu's legs gathered new strength and he stood without fault. He looked into Vane's eyes conveying all of his hatred for humans, and him through to his soul. The power of the gazed shocked Vane. He was frozen in place, transfixed by his opponent’s eyes, but there was something else in that glare, something stronger. Sorelu grinned as he saw that Vane understood now Sorelu's hatred. Sorelu delved into his mind, gripping full and undivided control over the rock element. Vane had seen that look in his billions of years of experience, he never figured out what it meant though. Suddenly, a colossal phoenix, made out of pure, indestructible rock emerged from the ground behind Vane. It spread its powerful and jagged wings and flew into the air above Sorelu, being sure to knock Vane off of his perch first. Sorelu smiled. And leaped high into the air. The rock phoenix lowered his spiny wing to allow Sorelu to land safely. Sorelu straddled the creature, feeling the old rush of war come to him as the phoenix formed rock over his legs, keeping from flying off. Sorelu unsheathed both swords; the Avenger was glowing with the flame. The Redeemer, seemingly on its own accord, covered itself in water that then froze to a very dense ice. Vane rolled down to the center of the depression, and when he got up, he saw the magnificence of a true Phoenix Warrior. OoC: Not as destructive as your post... but possibly a lot more dangerous. |

Re: Challenge (Rein)
“Tch… the bastard! He survived the attack, as I had suspected, but I didn’t think he would still be able to fight. You are quite an interesting one,” Vane grinned. Perhaps he had found someone who could actually help him gain strength. Ever since he retired from his position at the head of the Galactic Empire of Silronia, a huge gap of power separated him from everyone else. Whether they were much stronger or much weaker, there seemed to be no fix; until now.
I’ll prove to my father that I can be what he would want me to be. I will defeat this guy! Sorelu’s head ached from the massive loss of blood, but his judgment was not harmed. Something strange happened at that moment, though. Both of them stood, staring at each other, and their minds seemed to switch. Vane’s head was suddenly filled with thoughts of his past, and Sorelu suddenly felt the burden that was on Vane’s shoulders because of Rein Aeria. The Savior was brought back to his days as scrap… ”Little shit!” the harsh voice of his father came as he felt a fist strike him in the face. He looked up to see the man that he was half of. His mother was several feet away; they were in the kitchen. “What did you do that for?” the woman yelled, but the man paid no heed. “He’s only six! How could you expect him to deliver that shipment all the way across the desert?” “Shut up, woman! Nobody needs to stand up for this failure! I envy my brother so much… he got the good kid out of you,” the man yelled back. That was how it always was. Vane’s father was disappointed with him until his very end, and he was always being compared to his brother, whom was much more prestigious and powerful at the time. His mother, the only true person that he could trust, was always being abused by his father. When it came down to it, he blamed himself for everything that happened to her because he was not strong enough to protect her. He now knew why Sorelu was how he was. Still in the air, Sorelu went through a similar breakdown. It’s all my fault… I could have saved him if I were stronger. He was lost because I was not powerful enough to defend him. So this is how Vane feels about the people in his dimension? The guy isn’t half as bad as I thought, but I cannot allow him to get away with mocking me. “I understand,” both of them uttered simultaneously. They each looked at each other after, perplexed. “I have ruined this place, and for that I am sorry. I will restore the forest, but you should follow me to a place where we cannot ruin anything,” Vane yelled to Sorelu as he closed his eyes. He was communicating through his mind with his son. “Hey, Es? Can you restore this place to how it was before I arrived?” He asked through his mind. He received a mmhmm from his son. “Ok, elf. Follow me! The forest will be back in a couple hours.” the man yelled as he jumped off in the southern direction. Sorelu had no idea where he was heading, but anyplace was better than his sacred forest. The fight was about to ascend to the next level, perhaps. OoC: A little short... but oh well. You can make where they go to.

Re: Challenge (Rein)
OoC: Sorry I took so long, I had no ideas what so ever...
BiC: Vane dashed through the forest, Sorelu closely behind. They ran through the entire length of the forest, something no normal being could do. somewhere in the midst of it all, it turned into a race. Sorelu promised not to teleport, a he had no idea where tey were going. Vane was running and cutting trees that happened to be in his way. The odd part was, the trees grew right back, and without disease they had earlier been infected with. Sorelu was jumping ahead of Vane and waiting and jumping ahead, trying to conserve his energy for the upcoming battle. Occasionally Sorelu would loose an arrow sa a test to see if the Savior was paying attention. Every time Vane flicked his wrist and Red Cell divided the arrow to pass safely around him. Sorelu shot one more arrow at Vane but this time a snake bit his hand and he missed Van by a fraction of an inch. Sorelu lifted the snake up, and set it down on a branch safely. Then he was back on the chase. He quickly and with much effort caught up to Vane. Vane stood in front of a vast plain. They could both see for hundreds of miles. Sorelu knew this was the place, and as if Vane mirrored Sorelu thoughts he said, "Here is were this shall be decided." "So it shall." Sorelu said as he teleported some hundred feet away. The two warriors now faced each other on an empty field, nowhere to hide and only one place to run. Sorelu pulled both hands to his right side and then thrust them out toward Vane. A huge eruption of fiery power erupted from his hands. Vane smiled. Vane stood perfectly still as the destrctive blast hurdled toward him. a few inches from his face the blast suddenly split and made a perfect sphere around the Savior. Astonished, Sorelu cut off the blast and watched as the fire cleared and Vane stood just as he did before the beam was released. Vane stood, beaming at Sorelu. Then he said, "So it shall be." OoC: Terrible, but is was the best I could come up with. Have fun! |
