Deadman's Cliff

OoC: Alright, we're going to have two fighters, a maximum of three, probably (Including myself.) Oh yeah, and just so you know, the cliff that Redrick is standing on is Deadman's cliff. The underground caverns are inside this area.

BiC:

Redrick was looking across the fields stretching across the vast plains. "A Phasmas lurks here, I can feel it... Fenrir, is that you?" Redrick asked loudly. It seemed as if he was talking to only the air. "Maybe... You can help me defeat Mortivan." Redrick started to walk back the way he came. He had finished surveying the land from this giant cliff.

Once he reached the trail leading to the lowlands, he sensed something. "The Phasmas is closer than expected..." Redrick said, as he looked around. "Maybe there's a cave or something around here." Redrick said, as he started to walk towards the rocks to his left. "Oh, where are you, Phasmas shrine?" Redrick asked.

Redrick started to push some of the large rocks away. To his expectation, he found a small hole in the ground. "Ah. An underground cavern. Gorgeous." Redrick said, as he started to climb in. The tunnel to the underground caverns was long and wet- As he climbed down, mold and water caught on to his outfit. When he got to the bottom, he quickly shaked himself off.

Redrick pulled out a torch. He also pulled out a Flamestone (A special crystal capable of releasing fire energy) and started a fire. He lit his torch, and proceeded in to the dark and murky caves. "Hmm, Phasmas shrines are usually occupied..." he said, as he pondered why there were no monsters in sight.

He continued to walk, until his eyes locked on to a gruesome image- A corpse was laid on to the wall, with one empty eye socket, and one eye hanging out of the other. Rats were scurrying around the dead body, and centipedes and worms crawled out of it's skull. Redrick did not flench, for he had seen horrors like this. Archdemon Mortivan's undead army...

Memories started to come back to Redrick, of how he saw Mortivan take control of the Spiritual Realm. What a horrific scene- After banishing Mallitricos, another evil being had taken control of what Redrick tried to save.

Redrick stood there, for a moment, clearing the thoughts of Mortivan from his head. It was not time to think of Mortivan- It was time to find the Phasmas and gain it's powers. He could worry about Mortivan later, after he was more powerful.

The trek through the caverns was long and dull. However, after this uneventful walk, Redrick finally reached what seemed to be the Phasmas shrine. It was an extremely large room- A lake laid in the center, on a raised plateau, with a large temple on the side of the lake opposite to him. Complete darkness surrounded the plateau and the temple.

With a quick glance to see if there were no monsters in this room, Redrick continued. However, when he reached the first end of the lake, he stopped, frozen in his tracks. Someone was in this room.
