God of Wrath: New Foes (Zorolo)
“Dante…”
“Go away.” “Dante, it’s time you let me out.” “No, shut up and go to hell where you belong!” “I’m coming out whether you like it or not, it’ll just mean more destruction if you resist…” ~ WL smiled, morphing Dante’s body to match the appearance of the original Gorin. Taking control of the neo-echo was becoming increasingly easy, and he was staying in control for longer periods than before. He chuckled, remembering the time when he had to try his hardest just to control Dante for a few minutes. This time he’d be in control for hours, maybe days if he was lucky. He stroked his now-white hair and sat down at Dante’s desk. Various notes, letters, and journal entries littered the slab of wood, the majority of which was written by the late Grasthos himself. “What’s this?” WL exclaimed, singling out one note in particular. Rather than the yellowing pages written by Grasthos this piece was written on a vanilla white sheet of paper. Not only that, but it was next to a freshly opened envelope. WL picked up the paper and, noting that it was written by Dante’s domerri spy Jeorrod, read its contents. Dear Master, There is a strange man looking for you. The last time I saw him he was heading for Latio in order to question him. I believe he’s after you for WL, but I’m not sure. I heard from one of our sources that, after speaking with Latio (Though I don’t know exactly what happened in there), the man’s heading for the town of N’Aim. I’d suggest you go to meet him, but I warn you that he might have hostile intentions. Sincerely, Jeorrod WL burst out laughing and crumpled up the paper. How stupid would somebody be to go after him? He was the God of Wrath! Anybody stupid enough to come after him would end up dead if male, his temporary sex slave if female. He rose abruptly from his seat, knocking over the desk as he did so. If this man wanted him so badly, he should make the man’s search much shorter. WL leapt out the nearest window and started on his way to N’Aim, intending to cut off the man’s search abruptly.

Re: God of Wrath: New Foes (Zorolo)
The master of the Ancient Aura had left the forest temple after his clash with the Foxfolk, Latio Scaptur, and his wounds had all healed, finally. The green haired man was astonished at the power that the strange creature held, and fought back with as equal power as he could manage. After a long clash, the fencer had managed to discern little information from the masked warrior. Go to N'Aim, and there, you shall learn where it is you shall find Dante. I'm leaving his ranks, so do not fear that I shall hunt you down for them. The fencer replayed the words in his mind over and over again, trying to figure out what it was that the warrior had meant in telling the swordsman this. The aura master stood in front of the town, looking in upon it as the twilight began to fade to night.
The town was relatively rural in nature, with many small, wooden houses ever few feet. The people of the town were mostly peasants and farmers, but they were no where near the fencer's concern. The swordsman was looking for someone in this town who had information on the God of Wrath, Gorin. The fencer's natural aura was beginning to grow used to the shifts between it and the Ancient Aura, but the human's body still couldn't handle using that power for longer then twenty minutes in the physical realm. The fencer walked down the wide streets of the town, looking for anyone who could be considered inconspicuous, but, as tended to be the case, the only thing out of the ordinary the fencer found was that this town had no inn. Resting his right palm upon his rapier's pommel as he walked around, searching for anything of interest, he heard a voice in his head that would answer the question he had. Zorlo! The voice of the God of the forests and Druids spoke. You must be weary, he is coming, Cenarius warned, his tone slightly worried. "He is coming Master?! Then I guess I shall settle this here then, shalln't I?!" The aura master responded, moving his right hand and grasping the hilt with his left hand. The left handed fencer was ready for anything at this point, and if this God was to show himself, then perhaps the fencer could finally complete the circle that had failed to be done so many times before. Gorin will die here, the green haired fighter told himself. The wind blew through his hair, dancing through it as he stood silently. The sound of doors locking, the torches on the streets coming alive, and the strange feeling the fencer held were all unnerving him. What is this feeling? He asked himself. It was not fear, for the fencer had faced the truest form of fear. It suddenly dawned upon the swordsman what it was that was afflicting him, which was something he had not felt in a long time. Anxiousness!

Re: God of Wrath: New Foes (Zorolo)
WL smiled and watched the tense young man in the middle of the street. He’d somehow known that the deposed god was coming, and was prepared as such. The dark being suppressed a chuckle.
“I wonder if he can sense my presence, or is merely tense because he’s been told by somebody that I was coming. I think I know a way to find out…” The former God of Wrath’s appearance suddenly morphed into that of a feeble old blind man. To add a nice touch to the change WL made a cane materialize out of the air. Hidden inside the wood of the cane was a sword, of course. Cane swords were one of his personal favorites. “Money for the blind?” he chimed, making his way towards the green haired man. WL made sure to wave his cane in vast arcs as a blind man would, and kept himself from looking directly at the man. The dark mind stopped just three yards short of the swordsman, repeating his line. Zorlo turned around to face the ‘blind man’, though he kept his hand resting warily on his weapon. WL sneezed and wiped his nose on his rags, mumbling and coughing afterwards. He repeated his line yet again but did not advance upon his enemy. “Do you realize how late it is?” the green haired man asked, checking over the other man. WL spared no effort to appear poor. His rags were torn and dirtied, his long beard incredibly greasy, and his hands gnarled and covered in soot. “Oh,” he replied. “Is it late already? I’m sorry for bothering you then. Sorry for bothering you.” He continued to stand there, the only sign he hadn’t simply died standing being the fact that he occasionally coughed or sneezed. WL noticed with hidden glee at how uncomfortable the swordsman seemed to become. The dark one, however, quickly got bored and decided to simply kill the man. “So they sent a mortal to kill me,” he mumbled, well aware that the green haired man could hear him. “I wonder if they know that nothing can kill me. Oh well, more fun for me I suppose.” Without waiting for a reply he unsheathed his cane sword and leapt at the swordsman. OOC: Short, I know.

Re: God of Wrath: New Foes (Zorolo)
The fencer stood silently for a few minute, awaiting the arrival of the God so that this battle could be ended, but after several minutes of silence, the fencer became bored and rather disappointed. The fencer's left hand moved from the handle of his sword, returning his right hand to resting upon the pommel as the green haired man looked about the city for anything of interest. The lack of movement in the city was not astounding, mostly because night had set in, meaning that most people were settling into bed. The fencer felt rather ill about having to fight in this city; however, he knew it would be better to destroy this foul creature here then it would be to allow him to walk around unchecked. The aura master looked around again, thinking he could feel something out of the ordinary, but nothing appeared before him; not a shred of life; not a shred of evidence to support that the 'God of Wrath' was here. Suddenly, a thought crossed the swordsman's mind.
Masters', how does one go about killing a God? Also, how is it that this God can directly interfere in the mortal realm? The questions had been burning at the warrior's mind since he had been given the mission, and he wanted an answer to them. My young apprentice, Gods cannot be killed unless you can make them mortal, or shatter the protective energies that prevent them from dying, both of which are tricky to do. You must be ready to fight with everything you have against this man, Kurenkento, the Neko fencer, warned his apprentice. To answer your second question, Cenarius spoke to the fencer, the reason is that Gorin is no longer a God. He contracted some virus that made him mortal, which meant he was wholly destroyable. After being slain, rumor has it that the God of Wrath was split into three beings and that the one I have sent you after contains two of them. Dante, the good part of the Wrath God; and Gorin, the original God of Wrath, whom is cruel, vicious and, to put it bluntly, plain evil. Albeit the fact that destroying Dante will be a loss to the world, for he is truly trying to be good, the destruction of Gorin, now known as White Light by Dante, shall be a favorable thing to all of humanity. Zorlo, you must stop the Oblivion Master, no matter the cost, The God of Druids and the forests told the fencer. The green haired man nodded and looked around again, but this time, something was there. "Money for the blind?" A raggedy old man asked the aura master. The old man swung his cane like a madman, repeating this as the fencer stood looking at him. The ragged and disgusting man coughed and sneezed every few moments, apparently sick from what the aura master could see. Finally, the fencer became fed up with the old man's annoyance as the aura master awaited the arrival of his foe. "Do you realize how late it is?" the fencer asked him, trying to get rid of the old man. "Oh, is it late already? Sorry for bothering you," the man said as he stood silently, only coughing and sneezing from time to time. Suddenly, the powerful voice of the God of the forest boomed in the fencer's mind. Zorlo! Do not be fooled, that is the God of Wrath, he is disguised himself to trick you. Be careful. After hearing this, the fencer kept a close eye on the man, moving his right hand from the pommel of his rapier, the fencer readied to clash with the Oblivion lord, whence he ended this hoax. "So, they sent a mortal to kill me." the God of Wrath spoke so the fencer could hear him. "I wonder if they know that nothing can kill me. Oh well, more fun for me I suppose," the disguised warrior said, drawing his concealed sword and leaping at the fencer. The aura master quickly unsheathed Apollo and guarded the downward arc of the Neo-echo. The former God was powerful, but the fencer made a quick push and managed to repel the sword of the masquerading warrior. The fencer pointed the rapier at his foe, turning his whole body to point to the left aside from his left hand, in which his sword pointed at the Neo-echo; and his head, which kept the keen eyes of the fencer ever watchful to the actions of the former God. "Kill you!" The fencer laughed at this statement. "I'm not here to just kill you, Gorin, I'm here to destroy you!" The fencer told him, quickly bursting forwards at a medium speed and reading a downward slash for the Neo-echo.

Re: God of Wrath: New Foes (Zorolo)
“You’ll find that to be impossible,” Gorin said, blocking the fencer’s strike. “There’s only one way to kill me, and you don’t have access to it. The only two people that had access to it are dead.”
The Dark Being brutally lashed out with his sword in a horizontal arc, a move that would cost him in the long run. Zorlo easily blocked the blow but was sent sliding on the cobbled street by the force that Gorin had exerted. WL took advantage of the swordsman’s momentary weakness and rushed him. His green haired opponent was forced to fight defensively against the god’s flurry of blows, lest he be torn to pieces. Unfortunately for the mind of Gorin, Zorlo started to see a pattern in his enemy’s attacks. The possessed Dante focused on furious wide arcs. The strikes were uncoordinated, but powerful enough to cleave a man in two. If it weren’t for the fact that Apollo was unbreakable it would have surely been shattered by Gorin’s blows. Of course, Gorin didn’t notice the fact that his opponent had figured out his mode of attack. He just kept swinging away and keeping his opponent on the defensive. The Dark Being started to get used to this, and was thus unprepared for what his enemy did next. The god swung his blade in yet another wide arc, expecting the fencer to either parry the blow or leap back to avoid it. Instead Zorlo ducked under the blow and rushed his opponent, catching WL off guard. He plunged Apollo into Gorin’s gut, sending the sword’s tip bursting out of the possessed neo-echo’s back. Zorlo, seemingly victorious, smiled. God’s were much easier to kill than they were made out to be. His smile stayed etched across his face until he noticed a mace appearing in Gorin’s hand. The god was still alive, and the fencer’s weapon was stuck in his midsection! OOC: Sorry for the crappy post. I wasn’t able to think of any good ideas for this point in the battle, thus the reason it took so long for me to get to it.

Re: God of Wrath: New Foes (Zorolo)
OoC: No worries, I thought it was a good post. Just go with the flow of the battle, and have fun with it.
BiC: The fencer watched as the God of Wrath summoned a new new weapon out of thin air, and the swordsman's eyes went wide. are you serious? The Aura Master asked himself as he kicked his foe in the stomach, although the goal of the warrior was not to hurt the god, but to push his blade out and retreat. The blade was dislodged, but not without great force on the part of the fencer's kick. Gorin stumbled back slightly, smiling as he spun the two weapons he was using in his hands. The god smiled at the young swordsman, readying himself to strike again; his power was unlike anything the fencer had ever fought against, and it was hard to judge the fullest extent of the God of Wrath from merely a few attacks. The god held the cane sword in front of him, the blade glowing in the moonlight as he ready to charge. The mind swung the sword to his right and ready to charge at the warrior who was readying himself to fight. The fencer slid his right hand upon the pommel of his short sword and unsheathed it in an assassin's grip, and quickly held the weapon in front of himself and turned his hand upward. The swordsman quickly spun the short sword in the palm of his hand and stopped it so the blade was in a traditional hold. The fencer turned his body and moved his right arm, holding the short sword, downwards; and shifted his left arm back and upwards slightly, tightening his grip upon the sword. A smile appeared over the green haired man's face as he prepared to charge at the god. The two warriors stood silently, both wielding two weapons, and both ready to charge. As if by the drop of a pin, the two warriors charged at each other. The high speed fencer and the god both moved at astounding speed, and a sudden flash occurred as the Aura Master's short sword clashed with the god's cane sword. A quick turn made by the fencer and swung his rapier at the god who quickly moved his mace and defended himself from the sword with his mace and pushed it back. The god swung his cane sword, and the fencer quickly responded by guarding with both of his blade, locking the weapon; but being pushed to his knees by the force of the swing. Gorin smiled as he brought back back his mace and brought it down fast, moving his sword and knocking the blades from the swordsman and throwing him onto his back. The fencer was thrown back and slid on the ground backwards, disarmed. The fencer shifted his body, still hurting slightly. He moved his hand backwards, reaching for one of his sword, but they were both slightly farther back then where he had landed. The fencer Pushed up and ran backwards, jumping and grabbing the hilt of his rapier and hopping over it and sliding as he looked upon the god that lurked ever closer. The fencer smiled as he pulled his sword back and gather air around his sword. "Air Slash!" The fencer called out, throwing an air wave at his approaching foe.
