A second chance (Avyuir)

Kenshiro woke up in a bright light nothingness place. The light was bright enough to blind him but it did not. He had no clue where he was or why he was here. He looked on trying to see anything but as he moved he felt the womans body that was with him. Nothing good has happen since I met her. Only bad things can come from me being here with her.

A young man walking the streets of the busy town called Shido. He dressed like he was a man of god but walked like nothing in the world was left. He did say anything thing to the people that talked to him and was rude to the ones in his way. He quickly got to the other side of town were and big forest was. A man walked out to him a laid his hand over Kenshiro shoulder.

“My friend you don’t want to go there. They said monster lives there killing any body that walks to far or stays to long.”

“I know. It got the nick name death because of that reason.”

“Well if you know so much way do you look like you can wait?”

“Because I can’t wait to die. I have no more reason to live.”

“Why? Did you lose a love one?”

“No. I lost my job and soul. I need to die now bye.”

“But!”

The healer left off with out other word. He ran off into the forest of death, right when he walked in sound could be heard. He walked for a good hour in before he stopped and laid down on the dirt. I’ll go to sleep and be dead soon.

OoC: Well now, we shall see how this plays out my dearest. I am using Lyia. Link in the sig for those who don't know her.

BiC: Lyia walked through the town. She had remebered that this town, was were ones who wanted to die come to. They say that a demon infested forest lived on the outskirts of the town. A demon infested forest ehh? This shall be interesting. Lyia walked with her wolf, Lutai. She figured that if she were to enter a mortals village, she had best cover up. How I dislike mortals. Well, hopefully soon, I will not have to deal with them much longer. Lyia had also remebered some old man saying it was the realm to the angels.

"Yes miss, the angel realm can only found in the depths of this forest. But it is crucially hard to reach."

"Tell me old sir, how so?"

"Well, the forest is enhabitted by demons. Much to our dismay, they kill at the chance."

"Demons. I have dealt with them before. They are no problem for me."

"Don't be so sure young lass. These demons are said to have to power to kill anyone and anything. You have no hopes of reaching the forest's portal to the angel realm."

"Yes, but I have to try. I must get back. For you see old an, I am not of the mortal race like yourself. Thank you for the information."

Lyia had left that town sometime ago. The forest was in her sight. She would return and prove her innocence. She had entered the forest, only to find that the old timer had been right. Lyia could feel the dark entities of the demon kind. He was right. I sense there pressence everywhere. At that same moment, something caught her eye. Was it a demon, or something else? Lyia silently slipped up near him. It was interesting at what she saw. A race that she believed to be extinct.

"He. . . . . .. he's a nephlim. But, there supposed to be extinct." Lyia whispered. She could not tell if this one was alive or not. She noticed cuts and wounds all over his body. He's been wounded. But is he still alive? Lyia put her hand on his chest and could feel the slightest beat. He was still alive. But he would not last ong here.

"Lutai, its time to get moving. We have to leave this forest immidiatly. I shall fly, and you shall run. Stay hidden, we don't know what could be here." Lyia's wings immediatly shot out. It had felt good to stretch them. But as she stretched her wings, a demon attacked! Damn, not know. Lyia quickly grabbed the male nephlim and shot into the air. But to her suprise, the demon jumped and dragged her back down.

"Ack! No, blizzard!"

Great white clouds began to cover the sky and it started to snow. Soon, strong gusts of wind picked up. Lyia needed to get the nephlim out of there before he froze. The demon had been distracted by the sudden change in weather and Lyia took this chance to escape. She easily escaped and found herself flying towards a never ending field. She landed near a tree and waited for the neplim to wake up. But before she knew it, she too had fallen asleep aswell.

The man started to wake up in the morning when the sun just started to come out. The smell of his own blood started to make him feel weak. “Heavens light.” The man left hand started to glow and the blood started to disappear. “Who the hell saved me!?” He looked down at the sound of other near him starting to wake up. It's a woman! Great god doesn’t want me to die. He had an angel come and save me.

The fallen angel woke up and quickly looked over at the Nephilim. “Oh Nephilim, your awake and healed?” A questioning look came from her face.

What she knows what I am? “Why did you save me!?” The man quickly yelled back.

"Because, your a Nephilim. I thought they were extinct, but obviously I was wrong! Plus, that was no way to die!"

“I have no clue what you're talking about. I’m human and I wasn’t going to die. Anyway it seems that you learned your lesson your wing got hurt.”

“Then tell me do you have a mark on you left hand? If so it’s the mark of the Nephilim.”

“Damn you know your race. Anyway for saving me I guess I’ll heal you.” Kenshiro put his left hand on her wing. “Healing wave.” A green light came of his hand and slowly her wing when back on to place. Then he got up. “Well hope not to see you again.” He started to walk off way from the forest.

Lyia looked at the stubborn nephlim. She had just risked her life to save some jerk! She was about to walk up to him and tell him he shouldn't be so snobbish when she sense something. Its that demon again!

"Look out!"

Lyia jupmed in the way and pushed the nephlim out of the way of the demon's swooping hand. The demon grabbed her instead of the nephlim and started to sqeez her body tighter and tighter. Ahh, why did I do that? I'm going to die here. I know it. Lyia felt asthough her head were to explode. He got a lucky grab. And that nephlim is doing nothing.

"Hey, nephlim. Why don't ya help me out here!"

The demon raored. It was not going to be taken down without a fight. This is bad, very very very bad!"

Nephilim walked slowly into the town of Shido, looking around at the sights as she herself became one to the people as she walked through thanks to her strange appearance. It mattered little to her as she walked through with her wings unactive and folded around her chest and stomach while her hair covered her metal back. She's had a dream that something in the nearby forest could help her restore at least part of her memory. She was also starting to feel as though she should hurry there instead of looking around the town. She couldn't place why, but she wasn't sure as to why. As she neared the forest exit, a young man stopped her. "Miss, are you sure that is somewhere you want to go? No one that has entered that forest has returned."

What? She looked at him with surprise before looking at the forest. She could see shadows lurking within the treeline. "I didn't know that. Thank you," She replied with a polite bow. Odd, I was sure that was the right forest. Was I wrong? "Umm, excuse me, but this is Shido right?"

The man looked at her strangely but nodded. "Yes, this is Shido. Why do you ask?"

Nope. I was right. Nephilim shook her head and smiled reassuringly. "No reason. I'll be heading off now. Take care." As she walked past the man he grabbed her by the shoulder to stop her.

"Hey wait! Didn't you hear what I said? You'll die if you enter that forest."

"I heard, sir. Don't worry about me. I won't die," She she as she slipped his hand off her shoulder and her wings unfolded and activated to the shock of a dozen or so townsfolk. "Trust me, I won't die in there." The man could only stare in awe as she turned and flew toward the forest. It didn't take long for her to reach the forest. Seconds after entering, a demon leapt at her from behind. Turning in midair, she formed and fired her cannon, hitting it in the neck and killing it while she was quicken by the recoil. Ahead of her, she could see a Demon hand grasping a young woman with a guy nearby. "Angel Feathers!" Six energy disks formed and shot from her wings. One by one they cut into the demons wrist soon cutting the hand off and releasing the young girl. Nephilim flew in soon after. "Are you two alright?"

"I am," The young man said as he looked to Lyia. "If you fight that thing please don't splatter around too much blood."

"Right. I'll try. Angel Feathers!" Six more disks shot at the demon. It dodged a few before running off. "I think you're safe at the moment," Nephilim said as she land and removed the hand from Lyia and tossed it into the woods.

The man was angry with her for saving him again. “Really what a pain!” he yelled out. The Nephilim walked over to the angle that was in pain. She needs to stop saving me. Really she becoming a pain in my ***. Lyia was moving around in pain. “Her bones are broke, really what are pain she is.”

“She she going to be ok then?” the women that save Lyia asked.

“She’ll be fine. Lucky for her I’m here and feel sorry that she saved me.” He raised he left hand and placed in on her chest. “Magical star.” His left hand turned bright yellow and a star appeared over the hand of his hand. The angel slow stopped moving around and stopped yelled. After she was fully out of pain he stopped the spell and stood back up. “I’ll say this again leave me a lone! Stop saving my life! Your luck she came a long and helped!”

Lyia had been freed from that demons grasp, no thanks to that stupid nephilim. Her body had felt asthough it were broken into little pieces. My body, it hurts so much. I have not experienced this kind of pain before. Lyia heard voices around her.

“She she going to be ok then?” said one voice.

“She’ll be fine. Lucky for her I’m here and feel sorry that she saved me.”

Lyia felt someone put a hand to her chest.

“Magical star.”

A warm sensation fell through her body. This warmth, it is not helping. I've been cold my entire life. Being warm will not change anything. Soon, Lyia felt the warm sensatio leave her body and she no longer felt any pain.

"Ouch, I have a headache right now."

The nephilim had saved her, but he had a grimaced look on his face.

“I’ll say this again leave me a lone! Stop saving my life! Your lucky she came a long and helped!”

Lyia looked to the other person. How odd, this female doesn't have an aura. What is she, if shes even human, she knows how to conciel her aura. Lyia looked back at the nephilim. He's mad. The red aura is coming off of him in waves. Yet there is a purple ayra mixed in aswell. Atleast he's somewhat thankful. Lyia stood up and brushed herself off.

"Hmp, you could atleast be thankful."

"I never aked for your help!"

"Soo, your a nephilim. Your race is nearly extinct!"

"How do you know my name?"

Lyia looked back at the girl.

"Your name is Nephilim?"

"Yes it is. And you have not told me yours."

"I am Lyia, Lyia the ice angel." Lyia glanced back over at the nephilim. "And I don't know who he is, just what he is. He's a holy race called nephilim. He never told me his name."

"Its Kenshiro. And dont talk like you know me angel!"

"What?!? I practicly lived as a nephilim being on the outskirts of my home town. I saw nothing but nephilims and angels day in and day out!"

"Yes, but your an ANGEL! Not a nephilim!"

"Fine, whatever. I'm leaving. I still have to find my wolf."

As Lyia said that, Lutai came out of the bushes. She was hurt and needed healing.

"Lutai!"

Lyia ran up to her wolf as the wolf collasped..

"Let me help! I can heal her!"

"No, shes a ice wolf. Your warmth will not help!"

"What are you talking about! She will die if I don't help her!"

"Don't think your the only one with healing properties Kenshiro."

Lyia focused and it started to get colder and colder.

"Ice Heal."

A light blue aura appeared from her hand and she touched the wounds. The chill soothed the wolfs wounds and soon healed them. Her wolf soon regained consciousness and sttod up.

"There, all better!"

Nephilim stood confused as both of them argued back and forth even after Lyia's wolf came in need of healing. Even then they continued on. "There, all better!" Nephilim could see even now they were going to start again. The moment Lyia openned her mouth, she closed it in surprised as the Song of Nephilim filled the air, hopefully killing the wish to argue farther. The two looked at her in worry as she sung, her eyes closed, for a moment. Lutai yawned and laid down. She was soon sleep next to Lyia. After a few more seconds, Nephilim stopped and openned her eyes. "Nephilim...What was that?" Lyia asked, a bit shocked as she noticed Lutai was put to sleep.

"It's my song. The Song of Nephilim. Now, will you two please stop-" A small demon hit the ground inbetween them sleeping peacefully. With out thinging, she split it's skull with heeldrop before kicking it's dead body into the forest. "Please stop arguing," She finished as if nothing happened. "Also, could you tell me what a 'Nephilim' is and what an 'Angel' is?" Kenshiro and Lyia looked at her in utter disbelief as she stood there innocently waiting for an answer.

"Are you serious? You don't know want an angel is Nephilim?" Lyia asked as she awakened her beloved Lutai.

"No I don't," Nephilim replied in a low voice. "I'm sorry. I wouldn't want to burden you with my ignorance if it's too much trouble to tell me."

Kenshiro wasn’t happy at the fact he got saved by the angel even after telling her to leave him a lone. This Nephilim named person doesn’t even know about the race she named after. Well from what I know not many do so it ok. But I need to get away from them some how. I don’t think the new girl is going to let me leave. I shouldn’t have healed her then I would have die like I wanted.

“I’m not telling you about my race. It not something you should know about, we are a race that all you should know. But angel on the other hand…. Everybody knows about angels. I’ll give you a run down on angel. One they are a pain in the butt when they feel they need to save you. They let God control their life and calls themselves holy. You normal don’t see angel here on earth unless they are fallen.”

The Nephilim stopped and thought about the last thing he said. Wait she here on earth so that means… He started smiling trying to hold it in. “She is a fallen angel! No wonder she think saving me was a good thing. She is trying to get back up to heaven. I find that funny since heaven took most of me powers away.”

Lyia couldn't believe the nerve of this guy! How dare he talk about me like a piece of trash!

"Hmp, you have no right to talk about me that way nephilim! Anyway, I'll give you the real lay down of angels. We were created by God whom created every life form on this planet and every planet. We angels are his servants of sorts. Most live in a place called Heaven. This place is wonderful, so warm and bright it just makes you tingley all over."

"Give me a break." Kenshiro mumbled.

"Shut up! Anyway, I don't come from Heaven. I come from a sacred land know as Einhasad. I was born and raised here. But an unfortunate turn of events led to my exile. True, I am trying to find a way back, for I hate it here on this planet. But then of course, I still wonder if I am meant to be here."

"Ohh dear, what a sob story."

"Please. stop fighting will you. And if you will, please tell me of the Nephilim race. I would like to know about my namesake."

"Why don't you just tell her Kenshiro, its not like she's going to hurt us now."

"Fine I'll give you a description, but it will be brief. We Nephilim are a holy race just like angels. We gain our powers around the age of our tenth year of exsistance. Around our eighteenth year of exsistance, we gain our powers to change into our true form. A winged dog beast of sorts."

"So my name means heavenly winged dog beats?"

"Something like that."

Somehow, That meaning feels wrong. But, what other meaning are there? Nephilim stood thinking on the information Kenshiro and Lyia had told her for a moment before a faint sound in the distance made her turn and extend her arm. Something was moving closer to them.

"Nephilim? Whats wrong?" Lyia asked, surprised by the sudden change in the mood and seriousness Nephilim was showing.

"Something is coming. I can hear it moving closer. It's coming in fast," Nephilim replied, a serious look on her face as she continued aiming her left and moving it to target. Lutai was now staring in the direction Nephilim was.

"I can feel it now. A demon is approaching, but how did you hear it before I felt it?"

"It's loud. Hey, Lyia?"

"Yes Nephilim?"

"What's a Demon?" Lyia could only look incredulously at Nephilim for the question is asked. Then again, if she was clueless on what an Angel was why would she know what a demon was? Before the ice angel could respond, a demon leapt from the trees in front of Nephilim. It was the same demon that grabbed Lyia earlier. "Welcome back. Here a gift," Nephilim as her left arm changed into its cannon form and fired. She landed crouched a few feet from where she stood, her arm back to normal. Meanwhile, the demon hit the ground, its head gone and its body twitching its final seconds of life. Lyia looked back at the crouched Nephilim while Kenshiro covered his nose and stepped away from the demon's blood.

"I said don't splatter around a lot of blood, Nephilim." She looked over to see the now quite large pool of blood that was collecting at the demon's neck.

"AH! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to. I thought the attack would knock the body back into the forest," Nephilim explained apologetically. She suddenly stopped and looked in a new direction. "More are coming. We should move on."

"Then let's move deeper. I still have things to do here," Lyia said as she walked off deeper into the forest followed by Lutai. Kenshiro followed seemingly just to get away from the blood pool.

Poor Kenshiro. He must really hate blood. I wonder why? Shaking her head Nephilim moved after them for she too had business deeper in the forest. The continued search for her memories of the past.

Kenshiro didn’t like the idea of staying around those two. He felt like punching the fallen angel but know that he would not win in a fight. I walked in the middle of the two women with his head low looking at the ground. He was really mad at himself for have to follow these two because he’s too weak to fight. He came to an old dried up tree and feel like take his anger out on something. He swung hard at the tree and his shoulder when out of place. He quickly healed it yelling it pain.

Got damn it I need to get my powers back under my control. God these two women are even stronger then me. He thought to himself as his hair stopped shiny all together and he looked evilly at Nephilim when she came to look. “Stay away!” Kenshiro said as he stood back up of fallen in pain and kept walking.

“You know that wasn’t nice Kenshiro.” Lyia said turning around to look at him.

“Who cares? Lets keep going.” The Nephilim replied walking pass her going deeper into the forest. He soon stopped smelling blood again so he coved his nose. He looked down and seen this was the spot Lyia saved him at. “Well we are now back where the angel saved me. So where do we go from her?”

Lyia looked around a little then point deeper into the forest. Kenshiro had a feel he didn’t like as he started walking that way. He fur was stand but the other could tell since he wasn’t into his true form. They soon came to a cliff with a rope bridge going across it. Water quickly rushed pass the two cliffs and the wind cared a small smell of blood. The Nephilim put his nose under his shirt and looked at the women. “Lady first right? So go ahead I’ll wait here until one of you make it a cross.”

"Uhh huh, nice try Kenshiro. You two make it across, I can feel that demon still trailing us. I'll stop it, and plus, I can fly as can Nephilim. But Kenshiro can't. I need you, Nephilim, to help Kenshiro get over the bridge safely. And plus, in Kenshiro's current form, he's defenseless. And if that demon proves to much of a problem, I'll make it over this bridge no problem and destroy it. But its you guys I'm some what worried about. Seeing as the river down there looks deadly and I'm really not in the mood to confront God when you two die."

"Ugh, you said demon again! What does it MEAN!!"

Lyia sighed, this girl really had no idea of anything.

"Demons are usually big scary monsters that try to kill you then eat you. But, you do get a few good demons who are somewhat helping. Most of them are called acursed races. They are banished from the holy lands, for some say they are too tarnished. Unfortunatly for some, I believe that."

"Ohh, okay. So what do you thik you can do?"

"Who cares what she can do. She's only going to end up getting killed."

"You really have no faith in anyone do you! Geez, well you should watch and learn! But unfortunatly for you, I know a nephilims weakness. Blood, simple as that. You'll faint if that demon gets to close to you."

"And how do you know that!?!"

"Ugh! I used to studied your ancient race idiot! How do you think I know so much! I went to holy school. I'm not stupid! All the angels thought your race died out a long time ago! So we studied your race's ancient ways!"

"Please don't fight."

"Yea, and plus, that demons getting close. I can feel the vibrations through the earth. Go! Cross the bridge and take Lutai. She'll protect you for aslong as she can."

"But won't you need help?"

"Unfortunatly for you Nephilim, you would freeze, as would Kenshiro."

"Hmp, freeze us, and how do you plan to do that in the middle of summer?!?"

"You obviously have a short memeory."

"I watched you cast a spell, it wasn't that strong."

"You have no idea what my full potential is. Now go, before you are killed from being frozen!"

Nephilim and Kenshiro started to run across the bridge with Lutai. Be safe, all of you. Lyia turned her attention to the oncomeing demon.

"Winter Night!"

The sky started to darken and get very very cold. This temperature, was near zore degrees ferenheit.

"Ice Spear!"

The long shaft made of ice appeared and Lyia gripped it. The spear head apperead took its form.

"Now, to wait."

Lyia waited for what felt like an eternity for the demon. The silence before the strike always irritated Lyia. How she hated it. As she thought the demon had given up its search, it apperead before her. Lyia held out her hand.

"Blizzard" was the only thing wispered before the fight.

Openning and activating her wings, Nephilim flew behind Lutai and Kenshiro to take weight off the bridge and help keep the bridge from braking. What could she possible do to freeze someone to death in mid summer? I can't see any- Ahh! Pain in her wings and and a sharp tug on her her hair cut off her mid thought and her hands were getting cold. The moment she crossed the halfway point on the bridge her hands warmed back up though something was still pulling in her hair and hurting her wings. Looking back, she found half the bridge to be frozen. The half she had been crossing from when the pain hit her. She looked back to see ice covering her wings and at the bottom foot of her hair. "Ice? No way, how could she and make it that cold too?" She murmured to herself as she landed and her wings disappeared.

"Hey Nephilim! What are you doing? Hurry up!" She looked back to find Kenshiro and Lutai on the other side waiting for her.

"Oh. Sorry!" After a quick look at the ice, she ran back to meet them on the other side. "Ah, sorry. I got distracted."

"By what?"

Nephilim swung her hair forward to show Kenshiro and rather large ice block of frozen hair and then turned around to show her rather ice-laden Battleroid armor. "Just this." Walking over to a rock, she grabbed the bottom of her hair near the ice and smashed it against the rock to break it. Her armor folded back across her chest and she walked back while trying to carefully remove the ice on her armor. It was too thick and she decided to give up for the moment. "Kenshiro, you don't like us, do you?"

"No," He replied sharply and began to walk off.

"Wait. What about Lyia?" He never answered as he moved into the woods. "Why does he hate us like he does?" She looked back at Lyia before running after him with Lutai.

Kenshiro jumped up a tree and looked over at the other side of the cliff where Lyia had started her attack. The whole place was filled with ice and the angel was had a weapon but Kenshiro can’t make out what it was. The sunlight shined on the ice and into his face making it hard for him to see anything. He thought it was weird now that one side had ice and the other side didn’t.

Even with the monster over on the other side he smelled the blood even stronger now. The Nephilim hair was standing up and the blood smell was pissing the Nephilim off. Kenshiro pulled his shirt over his nose coving it and looked ahead through the forest. He saw a big demon dog walking closer to the Nephilim what he thought was fur he saw was blood. The Nephilim jumped down and looked at the dog. “So you are the hunter that I read so much about.”

“The race called Nephilim must not stay a live.”

“God sent you my little friend or the devil? It matters not little pets should stay by there master side.”

“Then why is a dog like you not by your master side taking orders?”

“How cares what God wants you will die here and now. Help Nephilim! Help me! There is a DEMON trying to eat me!” Kenshiro yelled running with the demon dog after him.

OoC: Ohh dearest Kenshiro, he's gonna die!:XD

BiC: The dark clouds rolled onwards, ensuring a cold blizzard. One that would freeze the demon in its tracks. With her mace in her right hand, and her spear in her left, Lyia waited for the demon to make its move. Lyia stared into the demons cold and heartless eyes. The black eyes showed nothing but death and rage.

"It is time for you to die demon!"

The demon roared and slashed out at Lyia, but she easily evaded the attack. Lyia lunged her spear into the demons arm, piercing the flesh. The demon again roared out as it pulled the ice spear out of its arm and flung it to the ground. The blizzard was making it hard for the demon to see, for it was swinging out everywhere. Hehe, this will be easier than expected! Lyia had heard a yell from the otherside of the bridge. Where Kenshiro, Nephilim, and Lutai had run towards. Whats happening over there?!? Lyia had let her guard down and did not notice the swinging claw of the demon, untill it made contact with her body and crashed her down into the snowy ground.

"Ohh that hurt."

Lyia easily got up and flew high into the chilling air.

"Icicle Storm!"

Large cicles of ice appeared in the air, adn rained down onto the demon. Pierceing its skin and nearly killing it. Damn, maybe this demon is stronger than I thought! As the demon had done once before, it gripped Lyia's frial body. But this time, she had not been so shocked by it as to do nothing like before.

"You really think you can do that again demon! Nice try! Icicle Storm!"

The icicles rained down harder and pierced the demon, making it loosen its grip on Lyia. Lyia easily slipped out and swung her mace, into the face of the demon. It roared for the last time. For her mace making contact with its skull, broke the bones in its skull, killing the demon instantly. Lyia landed on the ground, exhausted from the fight. Never in her life, had she fought so hard. I should go find them now. Lyia flew across the brogde wearily. She was very much so exhausted. But as she flew to the spot where the others had stopped, she found something she had hoped not to. Blood. Shock went instantly up her body. What had happened here!?!

Nephilim had just finished clearing the ice from the top pair of her armor's 'wings when she heard Keshiro scream about a demon trying to eat him. She activated her top pair of wings and flew toward the bridge to find Lyia there and a large blood spot. Am I too late?! she thought to herself as she looked around frantically.

"Nephilim, Where's Kenshiro and why are you only using two wings? I saw you had six," Lyia asked wearily.

"You accidently froze them solid and it hurts to use the other four. As for Kenshiro, I'm-" Another yell cut her off. "I think he's there!" Nephilim hurrily finished and took off toward the forest with Lyia slowly falling behind, too tired to keep up. She could hear the sound of wood cracking now. As she entered a clearing she found Kenshiro running from a Demon dog as it took it's head out of a treetrunk. "Ken! Are you okay?"

"Do I look Okay?! Help me!" He yelled and ran past her.

She sighed and floated up a bit. "I think I know why he hates me," Nephilim said softly and changed her arm into her sword. "Pinion!" She yelled as she shoot forward, inpaling her sword under the demon dog's tail. He howled in pain and indignation as he tried to dislodge Nephilim and made things...more painful...for himself as the blade cut wider and deeper. He turned to stare angrily at her.

"You angelic b*tch! When I get free I will personally bite your head off!" The demon dog yelled, its voice a bit higher then before. Nephilim had to smile at where she'd stabbed the demon. Meanwhile, Lyia entered the clearing with Kenshiro.

Nephilim changed her other arm into her cannon and stuck it higher under his tail. The demon dog stopped moving suddenly. "I'm sorry to hear you feel that way about me. Here's my apologies," She said rather innocently before firing. The Demon Dog let out a yelp as Nephilim flew back to land crouched next to Lyia and Kenshiro.

"Umm, Nephilim did you just do what I think you did to that demon?"Lyia asked cautiously.

"If you mean nuetering it with my sword before giving it the worst enema of it's life then yes. I did just that," Nephilim replied as she stood up to watch the smoke clear from the demon. "Now the question is, did it die?"

“God Nephilim could you not…” Kenshiro ran off deeper into the forest throwing up on the way. His sight was slowly getting less clear and he was running into trees. He quickly ran away getting farer away from the smell of blood. He soon got to were fresh air was and got back to normal. The others find him soon after he stopped and came close to him.

“Are you all right?” the forgetful girl asked.

“I’m better now no thanks to you!”

“You could be nicer to her you know.”

“Well sorry I can’t I told you before not to put a lot of blood near me. Really both of you should watch it more.” Kenshiro walked deeper into the forest not talking to the women he soon saw three gave stone at the edge of a cliff. He walked up the one of the stone and saw his name. “What the hell?”

Lyia walked up to the stone. True, it did have Kenshiro's name on it. But what did it mean?

"But I'm not dead! I'm right here. You can see me can't you?"

"Of course we can see you, don't be stupid! Hey, look at this. It says you died almost twelve years ago."

"Hey Lyia! You better come look at this!"

Lyia walked over to where Nephilim had called her too. And to her horror, there were two grave stones. One had Lyia's name on it. The other had Nephilims on it.

"What does this mean? And look, it say's that we all died twelve years ago. But we're right here, right now."

"I don't know what it means, but we better find out."

"Yea, but from who Kenshiro? If we try to tell anyone, the'll think were tring to pull a prank."

"But were completely serious!"

"I know Nephilim, but they might not think so. Lets try to figure it out on our own!"

Nephilim was confused and moved back to her gravestone. Engraved under her name was a small quote. "'As she ascends to heaven on her six glowing wings, One can only wonder; can she still live out her dreams? Or were buried with her body and taken with her life?' What could have happened to me?" A bright light made her step back from the grave, covering her eyes in the process. "What's going on?"

"Nephilim..."

What? Who is that? The light faded to reveal...Nephilim. She floated over the grave; she was a pale white and had a bloody hole the size of bowling ball where her heart was supposed to be that went back to the underside of her armor in the back. "But you're... Me."

"I'm your ghost from the future now to far ahead," the ghost of Nephilim replied.

Nephilim nodded, seeming to take this in. "Okay. What's a ghost?" An awkward silence stretched before the ghost sighed.

"You can learn later. For now heed my warning. When you find yourself under light's merciless glare. Defend yourself and blind it's sight. Only then with you live."

"Wait!" Too later for the ghost was gone. "What was all that?" She walked back to the others near Kenshiro's grave as she thought about this experience. It made her uneasy. Then again, meeting your own ghost does that to most people. "Hey Kenshiro, Lyia, what does it mean to meet your own-" A bright light settled about the three travellers, blocking off their vision as it wrapped around them. Before even Nephilim could respond, the three were born away by the light to places unknown.
