clash of books and swords.(Riku's_girl, Wolfen)
OoC: Alright, lets get this show on the road guys!
BiC: Rayce walked into the old library, it had been another sleepless night, and he was in a foul mood. A few people sat here and there, but mostly deserted. He walked up to random shelves, picking books off until he couldn't even see in front of him. He heard footsteps ahead of him, but his reaction time was too slow. He turned, his books spilling everywhere as he smashed into whoever. Rayce cursed under his breath and looked to see who had bumped into him. A girl, a bit younger than him, with long flowing black hair and piercing red eyes. She glared angrily at Rayce, who muttered under his breath. "Jeez, watch where you are going" he said picking up a book. The demon girl picked up a book and swatted him over the head. Rayce grabbed his head, that was a big book. "You watch where you are going stupid" she said angrily. Rayce tried to control himself, but to no avail. "You know what? i don't care, just get outta my way" Rayce said, his fists tightening. "Yeah right, make me stupid human" Celia claimed, standing in the aisle. Rayce drew his sword, he was in no playing mood. "Move. now" he said. Celia just stood there. "Make me" she whispered. Rayce's anger flared, and he swung. OoC: Sorry, kind of short. I've never been too good at entry posts. Tell me if this isn't what you had in mind and i will change it.

OoC: Sorry for the shortness... I've been sentenced to bed! I'm not even tired... Zzzz... Huh?
BiC: The demon girl looked at the pathetic human that stood before her. It was his incompetence that caused his books to fall. Upon uttering the words "Make me", the human swung. "Humans and their feeble minds don't understand how to process something before going for the kill... It's their fault for having such a pathetic existence." As soon as she saw his arm begin to move forward, her first instinct was to duck, and what a good instinct it was. The shimmering blade’s path followed through and struck the air which her head had previously occupied. “Your aim leaves much to be desired,” Celia said curtly. “Now, leave me alone.” The human stuck out his sword. “Would you like to see my aim again?” “Certainly, if it means I can attack you back…” the demon girl retorted. “SSHH!” Came the annoyed grunt of a librarian, who had stuck her head out from behind a bookshelf. At the sight of the sword, she immediately drew her head back in. “I guess a library isn’t exactly the best place to instigate a fight… Hopefully you’ll learn that once I’ve won.” Celia said while she took out her staff. “Won? Yeah, right.” “Well, at least you don’t suffer denial like most of my other opponents…” the demon said sarcastically. With a sad shake of her head she spat out the word, “Humans…”

Re: clash of books and swords.(Riku's_girl, Wolfen)
Dust gathering together on ancient books and numorous desks were met by the rush of outside air falling through the doors to the library. Taen’s eyes adjusted to the dimness resulting from the closed windows blocking the daylight, many with curtains pulled over them. The steel doors shut themselves as Taen found himself right at the place he was looking for.
The library. He brushed his bangs to the side and startied off towards the desk. T was carved cleanly out of a thick stone. A receptionist came out of a doorway that inched through a corner. The receptionist was a woman, aout late teens or early twenties. She had long blonde hair and a nice, round face. She wore a simple outfit-tunic and pants. She eyed Taen as he got closer, “Can I help you?” “Erm. Do you have anything on magical creatures? Elve, dwarves-things like that?” She nodded and smiled, then lifted her hand in the direction of one of the many bookcases. He turned to look, then gazed back at her in the corner of his eye. He smiled back, “Thanks.” He walked over to their, eyes set on finding a book that seemed descriptive. ‘Here’s one.’ He grabbed a book entitled “History of Magical Beings” He turned furiously, flipping page after page. The first section he started to look over was “Elves” He leaned against a bookcase, holding the book open with one hand. From what he gathered, elves were rarely seen. Not many existed, and they tended to live mainly with their own kind. They were blessed with power and control over magic. There were eight main types: Wind and Lightning, Fire and Earth, Water and Ice, Shadow and Light. He flipped a page. There was a circle in the middle surrounded by dragons. Eight of them. On the opposite wre actual picutres of elves. They were tall and beautiful, both the men and women. They looked perfect by nature, flawless and mythical. They were lies, nothing but a fairy tale. Taen closed the book and sighed. He was nowhere NEAR the elves. He wasn’t human, that was certain, but he was far off from being an elf. Then again, the book could be wrong. Those things all seemed pretty unrealistic, especially the way they looked. They couldn’t really look that way, could they? He should’ve heard somwhere, some stories, some sot of tales of the elves. Taen always told himself that he didn’t care what he was. He was who he happened to be, and that was that. But every time he said or thought it, he was telling a lie. Just then, loud voices penetrated the gripping silence that made Taen’s mind drift and wander off. He came back to reality and ran to where the voices were, dropping the book. A girl and guy, fighting over something. The girl picked up a book and threw it right at his head. More words were jabbed at eachother, and the two walked off. Taen caught on word coming from the girl. “Humans…” He turned his head. ‘Humans?’ More hair fell across his face. He brushed it back and followed her.

Re: clash of books and swords.(Riku's_girl, Wolfen)
OoC: Sorry for taking a while. =\ So many battles, so little time...
BiC: Immediately once she'd begun walking away from the annoying human, Celia could feel another presence either following her, or coincidentally going in the same direction as she was. "That's odd..." The demon girl looked around her immediate vicinity, but found nothing other than books among shelves. Her eyes darted back and forth, "I guess it's nothing..." Celia continued to walk on, wandering aimlessly really. She was almost unsure of the reason about why she was there in the first place. She wasn't one for reading. In fact, she didn't like most libraries. "This place feels so stuffy... And it's full of humans." Celia's nose cringed at the thought of humans. "That retarded human back there... I'd better not run into him. He'll regret it." Suddenly that foreign presence got closer. She could feel it with all of her being that this person was indeed following her... Or at least watching her very closely. "Is this a human? ... It doesn't feel human... I'm actually not sure what this is... I wonder how much of a threat this person is... If it is even a person..." By now, Celia had dismissed the speculation that it might have just been her paranoia. There was indeed someone following her. She continued to walk as though nothing was wrong. She was planning to catch this person off guard, whoever they may be. If they did not know that she knew they were there, she may just use that to her advantage. Ever nearing came the person. Celia quickly looked to a bookshelf. "They're behind there. I'm sure of it." The demon girl silently stepped toward the bookshelf, her ears paying attention to even the slightest noise. She heard some talking from a far off distance, but nothing behind the bookshelf. "Hm..." Getting tired of trying to stalk her stalker, the demon girl briskly walked around the bend and into the next aisle of books, pretending to know exactly where she was going. It was immediately apparent that the person who stood before her was following her considering his almost slinking posture and general air. Celia smirked and asked "And you are?"
