Samurai Castle Assassination

Ooc: This is a two-on-two mission-type battle where two characters will be summoned (together or seperate, it is up to you) to protect a general of a samurai army. My character (Takeo) and another person's character will be the assassins, and the defending characters will have to prevent the general's death from Takeo and his ally's hands. The setting is that of a Japanese-themed castle surrounded by a snowy environment with few trees and large plains.

The defending side also has the advantage of sometimes being able to control the castle guards, which display a wide variety of martial arts and weapon fighting styles (and weapons, of course, but all themed Japanese). The defending characters will meet somewhere at the castle, while the other characters will meet in a discreet location nearby the castle.

This has no order of posts and starts when all four people have joined.

Bic: It had been weeks after Takeo had his last fight with a powerful foe, and he was looking for a challenge. His previous foe was Zorlo, a powerful fencer that managed to defeat Takeo in combat. After recovering from that fight, Takeo wanted to become as strong as possible to match the swordsman once again. After training for those few weeks, Takeo had learned a new jutsu, adding one more ability to his arsenal of abilities.

Now, Takeo wanted to test his skills once more, but on a more lethal scale. The missing-nin was hired to assassinate a powerful general at the head of a samurai army. The employer's true identity was unknown to Takeo, but he knew that he wouldn't need to know it to finish his mission. The employer mentioned that Takeo would have a partner to work with him on his mission.

The shinobi looked completely pale, due to having it changed by using the Transformtaion Jutsu, was swiftly running through the snowy plains, heading for the castle known as Onikaisen. There were many legends pertaining to the castle, such as demons secretly being sealed under it, but Takeo shrugged it off as he reached the location where he and his partner would meet. The Jounin was not really fond of working with partners, but this mission called upon such a task from the shinobi, and that's what he'd do.

As he stood at the large oak tree, Takeo was coming up with strategies on how to get inside, kill the general, and get out, undetected and without a fight. However, Takeo now had to include his partner's actions into the mix, making things a bit more complicated. Even then, Takeo did not know how many guards there were, what kind of security they had, or even if there were mercenaries hired by the general to protect him.

As he stood there, waiting, Takeo looked scanned the area for any signs of movement.

EDIT: A snowy environment might be better then. Also, the name of the general (which I forgot to mention) is Kurotenshi Myogo.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

OoC: I'm in this, mostly because I've been bored of late. I'll be on defender side.

BiC: The fencer of Tasogare had entered the city, looking about at all the poor. His most recent foes had been rather boring, and he was looking for something to do. He had walked for nearly three days to reach this castle and found himself just in front of the outer wall. He walked around the city wearing the dark green cloak that he had replaced since his last one had been destroyed by Takeo, and the fencer knew the boy was probably up to no good. Suddenly he saw the gates to the castle open and soldiers ran out, searching for someone. The fencer walked over and looked inside trying to see what is going on. Suddenly, two soldiers stopped and looked at the man in the green cloak.

"This him sir?" One of them asked.

"Yes, such was the description we were given of him from the port town," the upper classed soldier said.

The fencer scratched his head as he looked at them with an inquiring eye, trying to figure out what was going on. "Can I help you gentlemen?" He asked confused.

"We heard someone defeated Takeo in the port city, and you match the description of the man to the detail. Are you he who conquered Takeo?" The soldier asked.

"Yeah, but it wasn't... I mean... Well, I suppose that I did defeat him, but I don't see why it matters," the green haired man said as he looked over the two warriors. "Do you gentlemen want something, or not."

"Yes, we need your assistance. Word is that someone is coming to kill our general and we are looking for added defense. Will you assist us?"

The green haired man smiled under his dark hood and nodded. The two warriors both escorted him into the castle and he was told what he is to do. "You are to defend the general, and if you do, we'll let you leave after the battle, mostly since we know you are the bounty Zorlo," the soldier told him. "Do you think you can handle whatever comes."

"Perhaps, we shall see in time," the fencer said as he threw off his cloak. "Let them come, I've been looking for a challenge anyway. Let us see if these assassin's are truly worth what they are being paid to attack your general or it is all just hype. Bring them on!" The fencer declared, awaiting the attack of the two assassins that were said to be coming for the head of the general.

OoC: This should be fun. Let's do this!

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Ooc: I am eager to see what Zorlo and Takeo's encounter would be like this time. Anyway, we'll wait till Rhox and HH get their characters into the mix, and then we start. Me and Rhox will be the Assassinating side (sorry HH, he asked first), while the Defending side will be Zorolo and HH. I'll wait till you guys post your entrances, then we can start. Like I said in the first post, there is no order, so you can post around twice before having to wait for everyone else to post.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Elric looked up from the small bag of gold to the man sitting across from him, one eyebrow arched upward in a questioning look. General Kurotenshi Myogo closed his eyes and let out a very small sigh. The slightest movement of his hand had a servant scuttling forward, dropping a second bag to join the first. Still Elric’s eyebrow remained up high, the other arcing to reinforce the point. A man of Elric’s stature and skills didn’t come so cheaply.

“You do want to live out the night, don’t you?” He asked, clearly offended. The general’s own eyebrow twitched in annoyance, but he made another motion and a third bag joined to the other two. Elric’s face split into a wide grin, finally satisfied.

“Wonderful. I promise you that the next morning shall appear even more breath-taking to your eyes.” The bounty hunter reached forward to scoop up the bags, but the nearby servant beat him to it, his hands flashing out to cover two of the bags. Elric looked up at the general, annoyance in his eyes.

“You’ll get a third up front, and the other two after my safety has been assured.” The general stated matter-of-factly. The two stared at each other, their eyes locked and their mouths set in a stubborn grimace. Finally, Elric smiled and pocketed the single sack of gold.

“Fair enough.”

<====}=0 – 0={====>

Elric leaned against the parapets lining the outer wall, his gaze locked on a green-haired man talking with the soldiers that had dashed out to intercept him. The bounty hunter couldn’t help but smile in anticipation. This was going to be wonderful. The bounty hunter and fencer hadn’t left each other on pleasant terms, and so Elric wondered how his mindset had changed. Would he be more open-minded the second time around, or as stubborn and foolish as ever? Whatever the case, it promised to be worthy of his time.

Crackling his knuckles, the bounty hunter made his way down the stairs into the outer courtyard. Zorlo was following the two soldiers, his gaze slowly moving around the courtyard as he examined every detail. He did not look happy indeed when he saw Elric. Ignoring the man’s cold look, the orange-haired man strolled over and waved cheerily.

“Hallo, there. Long time, no see.” He called, placing his hands behind his head.

“Not long enough.” Zorlo replied bitterly, spitting out the words as if they were poison. Elric shrugged, having no suitable retort for the man. Not any that he would give at a time like this, at least.

“Don’t be so cold, friend!” He said instead, draping his arm across the fencer’s shoulders. “If we’re to work together, as we obviously are meant to, we need to be a good terms with each other. After all, if things go badly here,” the bounty reached up and shifted his goggles down off his forehead and over his eyes. “I can always capture you and claim the bounty on your head. Its what I do, after all.”

Zorlo’s only reply was a small “tsk” noise and contesting grunt. The man shrugged off Elric’s arm and turned on his heel angrily, his footsteps revealing his anger as they crunched unnecessarily loud in the snow. Elric only chuckled and rubbed his gloved hands together. Yes, this would prove to be both exciting and enjoyable.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Kelafein sat in one of his northern outposts, watching the snow fall, the fluttery litle flakes gradually settling on the ground, deep in thought.

"Master?" asked a Drow, climbing up the ladder in the tower.

The tower had a small open room at the top made of wood, with light weight wooden suppoerts below it raising it high, these were draped in thivk animal skins to keep out the cold.

Teh Drow approached KElafein and bowed, Kelafein half-turned and looked at Jarzt, his Luietenant.

"Sir, after your many exploits north in Icewind Dale, a certain benefactor wished you to assasinate a powerful human samurai genral in his castle"

"hmm...muttered Kelafein and what will be my reward"? he asked inquisitively

"The Samurai has much gold and we could seize his fortress, we have many Drow now and more are joining our ranks all the time" Jarzt replied smiling

"Oh and one more thing" Jarzt said with a worried look in his eye

Kelafein looked at his Lieutenabt questioningly, the Snow swirling even more outside, he had to get used to being this far north he thought, his breath coming out in streams of steam.

"Our benefactor has assigned you another warrior to help"

Kelafein laughed, "well he may prove a valuable ally on and after the mission" he said smiling

"Oh and i nearly forgot.." Jarzt spluttered

"What now!!?"

"The samurai is believed to have hored some powerful heroes to protect him and has an army at the fortress he is occupying, so you will have to be careful!" said Jarzt anxiously

"Very well" said Kelafein calmly, I will be leaving. Ready my horse Jarzt

"Yes sir!"

*******************************

Kelafein spurred the horse on, he much prefered riding a giant lizard in the Underdark, but this horse would have to do. The Snow was getting ehavier and Kelafein had luckily taken the nescessary precautions with some thick first wrapped under his cloak, keeping him nice and warm.

After riding hard for a few days, he came near to the fortress, he could see it a few miles away a small blip at the end of a snowy plain.

He rode as close as he dared to go and watched the walls carefully, noting the well equiped guards.

Now...where is my companion he thought searching around him, leaning against an oak tree, suddenly he saw a widening shadow cast over hos body and he dived away from the tree, went into a roll and then popped up, drawing his Longswords simultaneously. He eyed his assailent,

"Who are you he asked?" scathingly
"I might ask you the same thing!" the young human replied

"Hmph... I have been sent to slay the Samurai general in that fortress over there" The Drow said "what of you?"

Ha! the human laughed, "fate it seems has brought us two together then, for that is my task too!"

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Ooc: Okay, now we can begin.

Bic: "So, you are this ally of which they spoke?" asked Kelafein.

"Yes, and you must be the one they hired to assist me." said the pure white shinobi as he stood there with his ally. "My name is Takeo Koroshu. You are?"

"Kelafein My'Lyl." replied the Drow. "Now, how do we get inside?"

The shinobi grinned as he examined his ally and thought of a plan.

"I'm getting inside my own way, so you'll have to figure that answer out yourself." said Takeo. "But remember, the general's quarters are hidden within the castle's multi-story design. It may be difficult to find it, but when you do, don't hesitate to finish that man off."

Without letting Kelafein have a chance to reply, the shinobi took off towards the castle, using his pure white appearance to appear invisible in the surrounding setting as he ran. Takeo neared the castle wall, when he crouched down and sat there silently. The shinobi didn't know where his ally was, nor did he care at the moment, and he sure as hell wouldn't look back to look for him now.

Takeo sat there silently, waiting for any visible guard to come near. The shinobi then looked and saw a samurai guard walk by. In an instant motion, Takeo got up, snapped the guard's neck, and began burying him into the snow. When he had finished burying his poor victim, the shinobi performed a hand seal, and a puff of smoke appeared. When the smoke cleared, the shinobi's appearance had changed from pure white to that of the guard he had just killed.

The "guard" then continued walking around the castle, until he came a corner. The guard then cracked his spear with his knee in one swift strike, and continued walking on. When he turned the corner, he walked towards the gate, where he was stopped by another guard.

"Karohime, finish your patrol." said the guard.

"I cannot without a good weapon." said the guard as he showed his comrade the broken spear. "Should we be attacked, I will be useless in combat. I wish to go inside and get another weapon."

"Very well, go inside." said the soldier, and the gate barely opened enough for the guard to go inside.

Now that he was inside, Takeo needed to find the general's quarters. However, something was nagging at the shinobi's mind, a feeling that he only felt in times of danger. He felt that this was too easy, not the kind of easy like child's play, but the kind of easy as if he was being led into a trap. The guard started walking with his cracked spear into the castle, and began looking around.

There are many guards... thought Takeo, disturbed. Should I be recognized, I will be in grave danger.

When the guard reached the castle's interior entrance, he glanced back in the direction of a voice, one unlike the others. The voice of an arrogent individual, talking like he was not from here, nor was he planning to stay here long. Takeo looked and saw two figures: one was the owner of the arrogent voice, a man with orange hair and an appearance that described power, while the other figure was...

The guard quickly turned around as the two figures glanced towards him, and he walked quicker into the castle. As he walked down the corridors, looking for any kind of vacant room, Takeo's mind began to race. The general was expecting them here, and he had hired mercenaries to hunt out him and his ally Kelafein. To make matters worse, one of the mercenaries was Zorlo, the very person that had defeated Takeo weeks before.

Then again, things weren't as bad as they seemed. Takeo found an empty room, and quickly entered inside. He quickly dispelled the transformation jutsu, and turned back into his original appearance. The shinobi quickly began to think on finding a way to the general's quarters without disturbing the peace at one moment. He couldn't even kill another guard, let alone try to take his appearance afterwards to get deeper into the castle.

Should I get involved in any form of combat, I will have to fight that fencer again, his partner, and every other guard in this castle. thought Takeo as he stood in the room. I will have to find the general another way.

Takeo waited in the room till he heard silence, and then slowly slid open the door and looked into the corridor. He quickly ran out, and started down the hallway running. However, as soon as he put his foot down, the floor creaked loudly, making Takeo freeze in motion.

Damn! Since when do they continue building castles with nightengale floors? thought Takeo as he jumped in the air, and placed his feet on the wall.

He stood on the wall perfectly balanced and calm, and started walking down the halls like that. As he walked, he was thankful that the corridors ahead had no guards, and continued down it. However, as he went down the corridor and near the stairs to the second level, Takeo heard voices. Takeo's mind raced as he thought of things to do to prevent a battle from breaking out, and he quickly placed his feet on the ceiling and crouched. He performed a hand seal, and seemed to fade into thin air. A group of soldiers ran down the corridor, and spoke loud enough for Takeo to hear.

"Lord Myogo said that Takeo Koroshu is one of the assassins? We're done for!" said one of the guards. "Also, how does Lord Myogo even know how it's Takeo?"

"Don't you know Lord Myogo has connections with the supernatural?" replied one guard. "He has the power to know many things about anyone. At least, that's what my superiors told me."

"Then why does he need all of us to protect him?" asked one soldier.

"Because, he knows that Takeo and the other assassin have bizarre powers as well." said the guard. "He needs us to protect him from those monsters."

The shinobi rolled his eyes as he heard the soldiers walk away, and then dropped to the ground when he couldn't hear them anymore. However, to Takeo's suprise, the ground creaked very loud when he landed on the floor. The shinobi's eyes widened when he heard the noise, and then heard the guards run back in his direction.

"Intruders!" said the guards as they ran towards Takeo. "We have an intruder in the...Takeo Koroshu!"

"Run for your lives!" said the guard when he saw the shinobi standing right in front of him.

In a flick of his wrists, Takeo had thrown three kunai at his foes, each one hitting them in their throats. The three men fell down to the floor, without even causing a slight creak as they landed. The shinobi, without having any time to think, ran up the staircase, and came to the second floor. When he looked, he saw in front of him a familiar face, one that caused the shinobi to freeze completely. It was the figure of the fencer he had fought weeks before...

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

A change in the wind occurred as the fencer and the bounty hunter stood a few feet apart. Despite the fact that Zorlo still found Elric annoying, the fencer knew that this man was very strong. The green haired man smiled, he and the orange haired bounty hunter had been heroes of the Otherworld, how could he be mean to Elric after all the bounty hunter had done to help the group. The fencer moved next to the bounty hunter and stood, looking at him, first bitter, and then a smile crept over his face. "It's good to see you again, Elric," the fencer said in all honesty. "I am sorry for my bitterness, being a bounty has not been a fun event. I am happy you and I can work together again, mostly since I think your skills will be most useful," the fencer said as he patted the bounty hunter on the back before hearing something odd.

"Takeo's heading for for the second floor," the fencer heard a soldier say. All hell broke lose, people rushing around, all trying to stop the invaders. The fencer turned back to look at the bounty hunter again and smiled slightly.

"I'll take the boy, Takeo, you take the other one. This won't take very long, that boy is persistent, but he isn't very strong. He's been training, probably he'll be stronger. Be careful my friend, we shall see if our foes are worth what you are being paid and the reason I am doing this. My freedom means more to me then anything, and no one shall take it from me. I'll be back," the fencer said turning and walking to where he knew the boy to be heading.

The fencer walked through the castle slowly, not wanting to waste any energy rushing. He found his way to intercept the boy, and with fair ease thanks to the soldiers that directed him. The fencer stood silently, waiting for the boy to show, knowing all to well it was only a matter of time. After a few moments, the boy appeared, starring at the fencer, frozen in apparent fear. He took a step back, breathing deeply quickly, stepping back, about to turn and run.

"That was rather anticlimactic," the fencer commented. "You've just gotten here now you want to leave? Here I was thinking you wanted to fight me again Takeo!" The fencer roared at him. The ninja clenched his fist, looking at the fencer, still angry at the defeat he had been handed with such ease by the fencer.

"You'll pay," Takeo commented as he threw a kunai at the fencer, who merely moved his head to the side, the blade hit the door, causing a small knock at it. Zorlo smiled as he drew his sword slowly.

"You've gotten a little better I see," the green haired man said with a strong feeling of excitement, perhaps this boy would be more fun then before. "Lets go!" The fencer shouted as he charged at the boy and, in an astounding speed the boy could not fully follow, kicked him in the gut and knocked him through the side of the building into the outside wall, slamming into it, but not knocking him out. He fell and spun in the air, landing softly on the ground, still breathing hard.

"Damn you," the ninja commented as he stepped back, moving away from the narrow area, knowing that a fight there would be to Zorlo's advantage. He ran out to a more open area, a place that he would have a bit of an advantage, or so he thought, against the swordsman.

Zorlo jumped down after him, landing on his feet and began to walk towards where he had seen the boy run off to. "Let us see how strong you've become boy," Zorlo said pointing his sword at the young ninja.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Ooc: Daytime.

Bic: The shinobi stood up and looked at the fencer. His eyes were glaring at his foe, as he was clutching the kunai in his hand.

"Don't call me that." said Takeo.

The shinobi ran at the fencer, and swung the kunai at him. Zorlo swiftly blocked the attack with his rapier, and notcied a kunai in Takeo's other hand. The fencer then began blocking and parrying attacks from the shinobi at high speed. Then, Zorlo went on the ofensive, and slashed downwards at the shinobi. Takeo blocked the attack with both kunai, and pushed Zorlo's sword to the side.

The shinobi then kneed the fencer in the torso, sending him stumbling backwards. Takeo waited for Zorlo to gain his balance, and watched the fencer's every movement. Zorlo stood up, watching Takeo carefully. The shinobi had become stronger, but he wanted to see if rage was still a weakness for Takeo.

"I see tou've become stronger," said Zorlo as he entered a relaxed posture.

"I have been training for a moment like this." replied Takeo.

"But you're still no match for me." replied the fencer as he entered a battle-ready stance.

The shinobi responded with a grunt, implying that he was offended by the fencer's remark. Zorlo smiled as he realized that Takeo had no changed much, except for the fact that he had become a bit more powerful. He knew he could beat the shinobi just by angering him till he lost control.

"Enough of this stupid talk!" said Takeo firmly. "Let's fight!"

The shinobi got up and started to run at Zorlo. He jumped up in the air and pulled out a handful of projectiles. Takeo through the shuriken and kunai at Zorlo, but the fencer once again began knocking away and dodging the projectiles as they flew at him. The shinobi landed on the ground in front of the fencer, and pulled out two kunai as he lunged towards his foe. Zorlo blocked the attack from Takeo, and the clang of metal rang through the area.

Takeo and Zorlo stood there, holding each other's weapons back with their own. Takeo grinned as he began to push Zorlo back, but the fencer had another plan. Zorlo moved the side, making Takeo stumble forward. The shinobi tried placing his hands on the ground, but they went through the snow, making him fall face first into the snow. Takeo turned to see the fencer coming down with his sword, so the shinobi quickly rolled to the side.

In another swift movement, the fencer slashed at Takeo, and this time Takeo did something bizarre. Zorlo looked, and saw the shinobi was blocking the attack with his foot. In one swift and powerful move, Takeo pushed Zorlo and his sword back, and rolled backwards to get up. The shinobi, now crouching, performed a swift series of hand seals as Zorlo was trying to gain balance. Takeo inhaled as much air as possible, and then exhaled a large stream of flame towards his insuspecting foe.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Elric ascended the curving stairs once more, taking his place on the archway above the closed castle gates. Several heavy bars thudded into place, locking the gates against the lone man standing before them. The bounty hunter crossed his arms, examining the man that stood before him. The ebony-skinned warrior stood against the pure white snow, a black blemish in an otherwise perfect landscape. Without warning, a line of archers rose on either side of the bounty hunter, setting and drawing their bows as one. There was no need to question the warrior, for his intent and purpose here were clear on the drow’s snarling face. His curiosity piped, Elric raised a hand and called for the archers to hold their fire.

In one smooth motion, the bounty hunter whipped out a revolver and fired. A loud ring echoed over the snow-covered field and off the castle walls; the sound of a bullet hitting a sword blade. Grinning, Elric reaching into a pocket and extracted a small, flat, metallic rectangle. Elric eagerly flipped a switch on the center of the small object, which then immediately expanded. The orange-haired man set the blue and black board against the lip of the parapet and slipped his right foot into the foremost strap. Leaping forth, the bounty hunter raced down the short expanse that was the top of the gate, his board hovering almost a foot above the red slates.

Elric’s hands moved simultaneously and independently of each other, one reaching to grab the shaft of Soul Fire, the other unclasping Fang. The bounty hunter flew off of the gate, his weapons held off to either side as he soared through the air. Elric’s blue and black board “hit” the ground, the tail end just barely digging into the snow. As the fighter-for-hire zoomed across the white expanse, the drow warrior drew his blades and stood at the ready. Elric slipped his fingers out of Fang’s chain, the weapon flying out behind him and raising into the air like a scorpion’s tail poised to strike.

Ooc: Sorry, I must look like a total idiot...I cldnt b bothered reading everything (thought nothing had happended really so far) poor excuse really..but WTH i'll try nd get into it.

Kelafein glared at the outsider, clearly he was an outsider, from anotehr world that is, with the strange psitol-like device which sprayed metal balls, luckily the Drow's magical weapons and lightning reactions saved him from the metal balls.

The Drow then took up an agressive stance and twirled his baldes menacingly, sucking in air, ready for some feat of combat.

"catch me if you can" he said smirking and leapt into the air at an angle, corkscrewing , longswords flashing in deadly curving arcs. His orange-haired opponent, beckoned for the guards to stand down and then, drew a long chain with a straneg, outlandish pincer type device on the end. Twirling it in the air, dexteriously, he spun it over his head, ready to intercept, the Drow's whirling aerial assault.

The Drow kept on going and slashed at his enemies arm, but then the pincer smashed into his side and he was sent flying back; he used levitation to land lightly though and a stand-off was reached.

The man drew his strange gun weapon then and the Drow eyed it carefully.

"Fight me honourably" said the drow, not at range!

The outlander decided to humour him, at least for the time being and the chain weapon hovered out. The Drow stared at the exotic weapon hovering in the air before him. Truly, it would be a test of skill, and, a new experience for him, this fight.

The outlander then gripped the chain for control and charged. Kelafein kecked up the snow into his enemies face and crouched, the human immediately reacted and brushed the snow away. Kelafein dived, in a pincer like movement. the orange hair guy then suddenly floated to safety, boots glowing. Kelafeinwent into a roll and came up straight covered in snow. He then levitated and smiled at the human.

"This will be a good contest" he stated, smiling a twisted grin, he then plunged into combat once more, blades slicing through the encircling snowflakes, their magical auras melting them before they came into contact.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

The fencer turned as the ninja completed the last hand sign needed to begin his jutsu. "Another of your magic tricks boy," the fencer said as the ninja took a deep breath and released a fireball that streamed towards the fencer. Zorlo smiled as he held his sword in front of him and began forming an Air Slash, knowing full well that the boy had forgotten something from their last encounter. As the flames hit the blade, the flames began encircling the rapier and the fencer smiled as his blade became a catalyst to the flames again. The swordsman had learned a nice skill over his many battles, that being that his Air Slash could entrap elements like fire, thunder and in a more difficult case, water. As the flames danced about the sword, the ninja stepped back, recalling this skill all to well. "Did you forget what happened in our last battle boy?" The fencer mocked.

"I told you to stop calling me BOY!" Takeo screamed as he ran up the wall, pushing himself high into the air and looking down at the fencer. With a quick grasp, he took hold of several kunai and shuriken and rained them upon the fencer, with a nice trick about them, the invisible wire he had used to remove the flame from the fencer's sword when last they fought. "Die already," he told the fencer as the blades drew closer. The fencer smiled as he quickly flicked a slash and released a flame slash that melted the kunai and shuriken and burned the wires as the boy watched it draw close until it hit him, knocking the young ninja backwards, luckily landing on his feet.

The fencer's sword still burned wildly, seeing at the fencer had learned to expand some of element his sword had entrapped while still using it as a projectile. "One of the tricks I learned after I defeated you. By increasing my energy in my sword, I can produce projectiles like my Air Slash with ease and still attack. This is fun, show me more," the green haired man said as he waved his foe to attack. The boy was reluctant to rush the fencer, understanding the power he had gained from the attack that Takeo had used. "If you won't strike, then I will," the fencer said as he rushed his foe with all speed. The boy quickly drew a pair of kunai and readied to defend himself. The fencer made a powerful overhead arc with his sword and swung down upon the ninja. The boy moved to dodge as a smile appeared across the fencer's face as he turned his foot in and spun kick the ninja into the wall.

The boy had hit the wall hard, losing his weapon and looking upon the swordsman as the fencer moved forwards. Clutching his sword tightly, the green haired man looked at the boy, who was getting ready to attack. The young boy took a kunai from his pack and threw it at the fencer who easily deflected it with his sword, not taking his eyes off of Takeo, who began to pull himself up from the wall. "I won't lose again!" Takeo told the fencer as he rushed the green haired man, using the wall to push himself at a higher speed. As the boy flew towards Zorlo, he ducked under his attack and slashed the boy along the back with his flaming sword, creating a scorched cut along the ninja's back. The cut wasn't deep, nor were the burns very severe, but the sword had done its damage. Takeo turned and faced the smiling Zorlo who's sword still burned with control.

"What will you do?" The fencer asked nonchalantly as he began thrusting his sword at Takeo, throwing fireballs from the tip of the blade with each successive thrust. Show me how much stronger you have become Takeo, prove to me that my defeating you made you want to become stronger, the green haired man told himself as he kept throwing fireballs at the ninja.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

"Shut up!" shouted Takeo as he jumped back and performed a quick hand seal.

As another fireball from Zorlo's sword was heading towards Takeo, the shinobi placed both his hands forward. In a large burst of smoke and flame, the fireball broke apart as Takeo's hand broke it apart. The shinobi stood there glaring at his foe as he pulled out a kunai.

"Now, prepare to taste defeat at my hand." said Takeo as he ran towards the fencer.

The shinobi rushed Zorlo at quick speed, and knocked away another fireball from the fencer as it flew towards him. In a swift and precise motion, Takeo raised up his kunai, just in time to block a strike from Zorlo's flaming sword. A burst of heat and flame erupted from the sword as the two weapons met, and the shinobi grinned as he stepped back. Takeo went in again for another attack, and the fencer did the same. The two fighters began to swing at each other, blocking attack and attack.

Takeo stepped back as he pulled out another kunai, and he spun back towards Zorlo, swinging both weapons swiftly at him. The fencer was blocking and dodging attack and attack from Takeo, and was beginning to see how much Takeo had gotten stronger. However, the fencer stepped back fromt he shinobi, and slashed his sword down at Takeo with powerful force. A large and powerful burst of flame and heat came out from the sword as it landed, and the spectating guards were shocked to see the result of his attack.

Takeo was standing there, trying to hold back the flaming sword with both his kunai. The snow around him had vanished, showing how powerful the fencer's sword could be. The shinobi slid one kunai to the side making the fencer's sword, and the fencer, stumble to the side. The shinobi raised his knee towards the fencer's torso, and then sent the fencer falling backwards with quite some force. Zorlo stumbled backwards, but caught his balance quite quickly.

Takeo stood there, waiting for his foe get ready for his next attack.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

Elric grinned as he flicked his wrist forward, sending the Jaws of the Wolf out to snap at the drow. The ebony warrior skillfully parried the attack, but weapon moved as if with a life of it’s own, wrapping around the drop’s blade and wrenching it out to the side, leaving an opening for Elric’s naginata. Metal clanged loudly through the clearing as Kelafein’s other sword twirled around the axe-like blade of the naginata, spinning it off to the side as Elric sped past him. Reaching up to shift his goggles down over his eyes, the bounty hunter leaned back on his hover board, turning around to face the drow. The warrior launched forward, pulling on Fang’s chain to pull Kelafein off balance again. This time, however, the drow warrior was ready. The black-skinned elf leaned back and dug his heels into the icy ground beneath the snow, turning the enwrapped sword over and plunging it into the ground. As Elric zoomed towards him, the dark elf leapt up onto the taunt chain connecting the sword and bounty hunter, darting across it with his other blade held out to the side.

Grinning, Elric let go of the chain, sending the drow tumbling to the snow as the tension disappeared. Grasping Soul Fire firmly with both gloved hands, the orange-haired warrior braced it against his side and launched forward, a modern jouster. Kelafein came up twirling and slashing as he drew another blade and parried Elric’s lance-like attack. The drow-made blade tore through Elric’s jacket as he shot past, just barely skimming the green shirt beneath. Elric laughed as he dug the butt of his naginata into the snow and spun around just behind the drow, knocking him in the back of the head with the bottom of the black board.

“That was close!” He called, gliding away and swerving back around. “But you’ll have to do better!” As he spoke, the approaching bounty hunter reached up and pulled Wolf from his shoulder, opening the lupara and inserting a blood red shell. Leveling the shotgun, the Wolf set his sights on the drow and fired. A huge fireball flew forth, the snow hissing as the Dragon’s Breath flames licked at them at it zoomed along, Elric right behind.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

The fencer rose up and looked upon the young boy, the sword the swordsman used was engulfed in the intensity of the flames that he had enslaved from the boy. The fighter placed his right hand on the handle of his short sword and drew it, holding the white metal of the blade near the fencer's blazing sword. Suddenly, the shorter blade burst into a ranging fire similar to how the rapier of the fencer was. The fencer held his swords to the side and placed his left foot forwards, ready to charge at the ninja. The ninja was not going to merely stand around as the fencer readied to strike, and he made the first strike, jumping up and driving both of his kunai down towards the fencer.

As the two kunai blade came towards the fencer, he moved quickly out of the way, rolling forwards and then turning to face Takeo, swinging his rapier at the ninja, who jumped back as the flaming sword cut into the ground. The blade master quickly moved his short sword, thrusting it at the ninja, who moved back to keep the burning blade from causing him damage. The ninja moved back as the fencer swung his burning swords at his foes, not throwing any flames at the youth, avoiding wasting any unnecessary energy, but energy was not something Zorlo would need to worry about, because maintaining his control of Air Slash around his sword was easy.

The ninja jumped back and landed upon the wall and looked down at the boy, breathing fast and tired. The fencer looked up at the boy as he gazed down at the swordsman, tiring out slowly. The fencer could not boast anything better, for the strain on his energy was beginning to be felt, but the ease of controlling the air and using it to manipulate the fire was to much fun. He could hold this for the rest of the day if needed, but in this combat situation was making it slightly harder, but now the fencer had to follow his foe into the higher ground. The fencer would now have to decided how he would strike against this boy who held a territory which would make the fencer's attack very hard. Suddenly, and idea came to the warrior, and would it be ever so brilliant.

"If I were you, I'd give up, you aren't going to get up here with me watching," Takeo mocked as he looked down at the fencer.

"I'd have to disagree with you," the fencer said as he placed his weapons together, combining the flames and making the fencer's swords formed a massive pillar of flame, almost eight feet in height and about a foot in width. The fencer charged, jumping up and swinging the massive flaming pillar down upon Takeo. The boy's eyes went wide as he jumped and the sword cut a massive burning hole in the wall. The boy landed on the ground not far from the fencer as he turned, pointing the massive pillar of flame at the ninja. "You have gotten stronger, but I have learned much greater control of my aura. Show me your full power!" The fencer said as he made a massive sideswipe with his flaming sword.

Re: Samurai Castle Assassination

The shinobi jumped to the side, barely dodging the line of flame. Sure, he would be able to withstand some of the flaming swipes from the fencer's sword, but he probably wouldn't be able to fight both Zorlo, and manage to kill the castle's Lord at the same time. The battle would have to come another time. Takeo ran towards the fencer and dodged another blazing attack as he jumped over his foe. The shinobi landed a good distance behind Zorlo, and turned towards his foe as he ran backwards.

"We'll finish this fight later." said the shinobi with a grin. "I have a samurai lord to kill."

Takeo turned, and pulled out two kunai as he ran towards some samurai guards. He ducked as one swiped at him with a sword, and then stabbed the guard in the chest with one of the kunai. Takeo then turned, and stabbed the other guard in the gut, making two gaurds fall to the ground. However, they landed on the snow without a sound, and this once again piqued Takeo's interest as he ran off into the castle.

The shinobi performed a quick series of hand seals, and then a burst of smoke appeared. When the smoke cleared, there appeared to be four Takeo's. They all looked at each other, and ran off in seperate directions. If he couldn't find the samurai lord as one, he sure as hell could as four. The four shinobi would easily find their target now, and people like Zorlo might not even be fast enough to stop him.
