Under the blue sky (avyuir, Ciroton)

OoC: I update Nikudemon profile for this so take a look. If you two are trying to fight Nikudemon you better come up with a good reason. If not, we can come up with something to do.

Bic: The sun beamed down on the ocean water, shinning in the swordsman eyes. Nikudemon walked down the beach to his next city. The young swordsman stopped and glared at the ocean water. The day was bright and warm out but the wind kept people cool enough to walk around. The ocean water sparked as it calmly moved back and forth. Today, it’s a great day. I wonder what’s going to happen.

The swordsman continued strolling along the beach heading towards the city of Xeggy. Two boys were to hitting a big green bleach ball around. The smaller boy missed the ball and it hit the swordsman in the face. The ball landed in his hand and looked to see whose ball it was. The two boys waved at the swordsman, that’s when he noticed them. Nikudemon smile as he threw the ball up in the air and spike it at the old boy. Then he started walking again, after a while he finally reached the big place.

The wonder when and checked his pocket to see if he had enough money for a room. “I have no more money? What did I do with it?” the man said, as he remembered back to the day before. “Oh, yeah I used in to buy food that day. Well, at least I’m not hungry. I can probably find quick cash somewhere in here.”

He started walking through the city looking for anything to make quick money. When he was about to give up two robbers came out of the bank. One of the robbers ran right into Nikudemon. The swordsman quickly knocked the guy out and yelled, “If you want to get away drop the money and take your partner here.”

He held up the guy here just knock out. The man turned around and looked at the swordsman. “Wait. Do I know you?”

The wonder sighted, “No. You can’t know me, I’m not famous or anything.”

“You are your Nikudemon the wonder that comes around and saves places from trouble. I can take the money and kill you at the same time.” A group of people started to gather around and look at the fight that was about to happen.

“Can we not do this here?” the swordsman asked dropping the man. “How about you just give me back the money and I’ll forget everything you’ve done.”

“No. Now draw your sword.” The robber pulled out his steel sword and readies it.

“But you’re not even skilled at using that thing.” The robber charger at the swordsman with everything he got.

OoC: I know this is a short post, but I don't have many CJ's today. Must of spent them all on a school project I have. Meh, on with the show ... er, post.

BiC:
The streets were alive with activity as a young man in strange colored robes walked through the city. As he walked, his staff made of crystal reflected the rays of the intense afternoon sun, blinding people as he walked. Naturally, people starred at his as he passed. You think they would mind their own business, thought the young mage as he looked behind him to see a group of children following him, awed by his outlandish appearance.

He stopped on the spot, then whirled around, faced the children, and asked them, “Don’t you have anything better to do then follow me around?” The kids were stunned that he was talking to them, so stunned in fact, that they ran away without uttering a word. I hate large cities, thought the mage acidly as more people gazed at him as he passed. As he rounded a corner, he saw people gathering around the entrance of a local bank. I wonder what's going on here, the young mage thought as he drew near the drawing crowd.

“Excuse me, what is happening here?” he asked an elderly man beside him.

“Two guys were robbing the bank, but this other man came and knocked one of them out cold. Now his partner wants to fight him,” the old man answered. Strange, thought the young man. Bank robbers usually flee from the scene, even if one of them “falls behind”. This man must be either famous, or infamous around these parts. This should be interesting to watch. The mage then made his way to the front to view the coming spectacle.

OoC: oooooooooh spiffyness!!! Using my new character Ryoko. Armour, Nightmare Robe(It's red BTW)! Weapons, you all know em, and if you don't, look in the link!!

BiC: The Dark Elf walked through the city of Xeggy. She had left Biconne on the outskirts of the town. she really did not want to draw attention to herself with a blue dragon following her. When she reached the nere the city's bank, she noticed a giant crowd. What could possible be going on in the middle of a giant city?? As she walked forward, she heard someone say.

“Two guys were robbing the bank, but this other man came and knocked one of them out cold. Now his partner wants to fight him.”

Wouldn't bank robbers normally flee rather than challenge a man. They must really be nooby bank robbers. She heard so people shouting a name, 'Nikudemon'. Hmm, who is this Nikudemon person. Sounds intersting, I should find out. She started to walk back. Right when she was far enough, she started to run. As she reached the crowd, she jumped, and landed right in the circle.

"Well know, what do we have here." She said smirking!

OoC: yes, its short but begginings suck for me!! :XD :XD

OoC: I didn't know we were trying to write long things. I thought we are doing this to have fun. Oh I got a little carried away here.

BiC: The swordsman hopped over the man sending him face first into the ground. “Well you can’t ran now the polices are here.”

The robber got up of the ground mad that the wonder was playing around. “I will kill you Nikudemon the saver!” The robber ran forward again with his sword ran a long the ground.

“Nikudemon the saver? Some that’s the title you lowlife people call me.” The wonder moved to the side as the man ran passed him. He quickly grabbed the back of the robber shirt and threw him down to the ground again. He bent down in the bank robber face looking at him with a smile. “I don’t really like that title. How about you forget you ever saw me.”

The man on the ground had a shocking look on his face. “So what are you saying?”

“Well, first you get back the money. Then you go to jail for a little while. After that you can find a pretty woman and teach your kid how to live.” The swordsman stood back up and gave his hand out to the man. “I may even come back and show you how to use a sword and protect this place. But, only after you get a real job.”

The man grabbed the swordsman hand and got up off the ground. “You know what, I think you will make a fine swordsman one day.” With that the two robbers was taken off to jail. The wonder grabbed the money and gave it to the bank owner that by this time was standing out side.

“Thank you swordsman! Is there anything I could do for you?”

“Umm… Do you know a place that’s will let me sleep for free,” he said, then looking around at the people. “On second thought I don’t think I’ll have a problem with that thanks.” He turned around to all the people. “You can all go back to you homes and I hope you will be safe! I must go now, bye!” With that he started walking out of town. I would love to stay but I don’t want to take kindness. After all I really did nothing.

He soon stopped with a young female with armor on in front of him. He turned and looked back and seen a man walking down with a robe.

OoC: :embrsd: I could not really think of anything better to put after what I have down now. Ill leave that up to someone who is not currently deprived of creativity.


BiC:
The battle between the man and the thief was quite brief. In the end, the man had let the robber live, and even told him to repent and go about a new, crime-free life. The mage had never seen anything like that in his life. The then police promptly arrested the would-be thieves and carted them to jail. He decided to follow this peculiar man, yet from a safe distance. However, as the man made his way up a deserted road to leave town, a black figured jumped in front of him.

The man then quickly turned on the spot, only to see the mage in his path too. The peaceful street became tense as the three waited for one of the others to make the first move. A cloud had eclipsed the sun as thought nature itself anticipated a fight. The wind became a crescendo of sound making the mage's robes flap wildly in the breeze; the smell of the salty sea air filled his nose as he breathed. The man in front of him turned around again; looking at the creature that jumped in font of him. There were two holes in the man’s clothes over his shoulder blades. That’s interesting, thought the mage curiously.

He then leaned slightly to his side to see what had stopped the other man. It looked like a female elf, yet it had Grey skin. The young mage had never seen an elf like her before. He decided it would be best to be cautious around her.

Ryoko grinned at the man. He obviously had noticed her. But then again, who wouldn't. She also noticed another, a mage from the looks of it. She figured that she would let the other men play first. That mage is looking at me like he has never seen one of my kin before. Ugh, how rude. Ryoko scowled at the mage, he was making her angry from that look. She looked again at the man who had defeated the robbers. She wasn't shure why he had let them go. If she had been in his position, she would have easily killed them. Robbery was quiet a crime in her village, and she would not stand for it there nor anywhere. As she looked from both men, she saw them make no move. Ugh, what are they waiting for. They should just attack. Or maybe they are weaker than I thought. Whatever. She gave them on last scowl, she did not have the time for losers. As she turned to walk away one of the men yelled to her.

"Where do you think your going elf?!?"

Her anger flarred up, she would not stand being called elf. She turned around once again. And she yelled straight back.

"You should know idiot, I'm not a regular elf. I'm what you call a Dark ELf. And don't call me that either. The name is Ryoko!"

OoC: Alright the plot is set. Ciroton you really need to start using are character too. Don't worry if you just something wrong. avyuir and me can fix it in are post just remember that.

Damn, she angry right now. I better not act like a dumb person here. It just won’t work. The swordsman was quite again only for a moment while he thought. “I’m sorry, I don’t see that many dark Elf now a days. But Ryoko, is it?”

“Yes. What is it?” she replied turning her hard the way.

“Ryoko, why did you get in front of me?”

“I just wanted to know what didn’t you kill whose guys. But after seeing you here I know why. Your weak, that’s why you didn’t attack me or that mage.”

The swordsman put his hand over his head. I see why she angry. She must really hate crime to think that way. He looked back over at the mage that was starting to back away. “So what’s your story?”

The sky overhead just started to get dark and lighten flashed through the sky. “What the?” the swordsman said, looking up at the sky. Then a big ten-foot tall man with six eyes and yellow skin land down on the town. He moved his hand out to his side and a big white wing appeared. “This can not be good!”

In a castle room a women sat by a window looking out. Other women ran into the a yelled, “Queen it Earth! It’s about to be destroy because of us!”

The queen got up from the window and turn to the women. “Keep the earth from blowing up and sent the three most powerful warrior that are near the monster!” She replied quickly throwing her hand out the door. Why can’t they get things right the first time?

The big yellow monster eye’s start to turn red and a big ball of black energy start to take form in the sky. “Run!” the swordsman yelled as he took off away from the monster. The big ball of energy came down from the sky.

In a grass field an old man and his son found the swordsman, mage and Dark elf passed out. “What should we do with them father?”

“We take them home. We can’t just leave them here.”

“But where do you think they came from? I don’t think they are from here?”

“Yes, they’re not from Selain but I don’t know what planet they have come from. Get them some sleepy cloth and clean there old one. Also I think it’s best to have them in the same room.”

“Wouldn’t it be best to have the woman in a different room?”

“I. In most cases but if they really did come from a different world it be best to leave them together. It might make them feel safer. Pulse if one of them loves the women he would be worried about her.”

“I see father.”

OoC: ... and thus I venture into the unknown. Solid ground turns to mud, a crystal-clear day turns foggy and forboding, yet I move on into the depths. Okay, poetry aside I would like to apologize if I got your characters personalities incorrect. Well, here goes nothing.

BiC:
The mage slowly opened his eyes. Everything was blurry; he could barely make out that he was indoors now instead of in the street. Outside, the birds were singing a beautiful song the young mage had never heard before. A few minuets passed as he listened to the music, and the mage could see again. He looked down and saw that he was no longer wearing his robes, but instead an olive green tunic and Grey pants. Furthermore, he saw the swordsman and the dark elf in beds beside him, unconscious.

Then to his horror, he discovered his staff was missing. Desperate, he searched the entire room, yet it was in vain. Saddened, the mage sat on the edge of his bed and with nothing else to do, he surveyed the room. The room they where in was made out of wood from ceiling to floor, giving it the feeling of a cabin in the woods, it was also sparse furniture in the room. Aside from the beds the others were laying in, there where only tow other pieces of furniture in the room, a tall mirror and a wardrobe in one of the corners.

Suddenly, the swordsman, and the dark elf began to wake up. “Huh, where are we?” mumbled the dark elf as she slowly sat up in the bed.

“How am I supposed to know?” the young mage replied.

“Shut up, weakling!” the dark elf spat.

“Me? Weak? What gives you THAT idea?” the mage spat back.

“You didn’t attack the swordsman, you just stood there like an idiot!” the woman spat back.

“Ill have you know that I do not attack unless provoked, and you are really temping me at the moment!” the mage said ferociously.

“Ha! How do you intend to fight back!? It seems you lost your staff which, if I am correct, is what allows you to do magic” she replied with a look of victory on her face.

“You have a lot to learn about magic then, elf! Staffs only increase our ability to do magic, we don’t depend on them like you are suggesting!”

“Do I have to go through the same song and dance with you as the swordsman!? The name is Ryoko, and you better remember that mage or else next time I will rip out your tongue!” Ryoko said even more angrily then before.

“And I will have YOU know that I hate being called “Mage” The name is Arin, call me anything else and I will burn you to a crisp!”

The swordsman looked at the two bickering at each other for a few minutes, then slipped out the door, unnoticed as the others continued to shout at each other.

OoC: Now now Ciroton, you portray my character as a mean girl!! J/K:XD

BiC: Finally after about twenty minutes, Ryoko and the mage called Arin, setled there disput. Ryoko had noticed that both her weapons, the mages staff, and the swordsman were missing.

"Well, if we don't find our weapons soon, there could be trouble."

"Jee, took you long enough to notice ehh."

Ryoko's angered flarred back up. "How dare you!! I've noticed they were missing since I woke up. Now watch yourself Arin. My temperment is something you don't want to flare up!!!"

"Jee, so I noticed." The mage mumbled. But since Ryoko was an elf, she heard everything.

"Back off. I am not one to be tested!" She wanted badly to backhand the mage, but she knew that would only cause more problems. "We should find where that swordsman went and our weapons." She walked towards the door and to her suprise, it was not locked. She grinned with satisfaction. Heh, our weapons will be easy to find. When she walked down the hallway, she noticed that they were all in a wooden cabin. This is someones home. Interesting, I wonder where we are. As she continued walking, she made a right down the corridor. Here, she found the swordsman and two other people.

"Well know, looks like the young man and woman have awoken." said the old timer.

"Hmp, where are our weapons old timer!"

"Ohh, my my young elf, what a temperment."

Ryoko's anger flared up once again. But she contained it, only twitching with annoyance. "Alright then, let me ask this more, politly. Can you tell me, where my swords, dagger, and dragon are!"

"The swords and dagger are over there, but we never saw any dragon." said the younger looking man.

"Your telling me, you did not see a blue dragon??"

"Nope, not even the slightest sign of one."

Biconne, what happened to you. She looked over at her weapons. She saw her twin swords and her dagger. They looked fine. She also saw the young mages staff. "Well, Arin, theres your staff" she said mockingly. He just walked over calmly as if she had said nothing. She also noticed that the swordsman had his weapons back too. "Well, I see that you too have your weapons. We should be off then."

"Where might you be going young elf?" The old timer questiond.

"Listen old timer, my name isn't young elf, its Ryoko. And I do not know where we are going?"

"Hey, who made you in charge miss priss!!"

This time her anger had got the best of her. She quickly swung her hand and slapped the swordsman right across the face. "Next time, don't anger me swordsman!"

Nikudemon stood there with his eyes wide opened as he slowly moved his hand to his cheek. The old man turned away and grabbed his son hand that was in shock. “We’ll be going now. Your cloth is still not dry so I hope you stay until then. And as I told you swordsman, I’m sorry I couldn’t anything better for you.” With that the old man and he son walked away.”

The swordsman was furious after being slapped by the Dark elf. He did even hear what the old man said and he only wanted to hit her back. By some how he was able to hold himself and lower his hand. “You just want US to walk out and NOT KNOW WHERE WE ARE!” He pointed to the door and lost control of his temper. “You go outside a wonder not knowing what kind of world is out there!!”

“Maybe I will but what make you think you have control over what we do!!”

“I don’t! All I know is that we were attack and then I woke up wear this stupid pink shirt and matching pink bottom !!!” Nikudemon grabbed the top of his pink shirt that the old give him to sleep in. The shirt looked very feminine with its low v line neck. The shirt was made out of high class silk unlike what the mage was wearing. The shirt’s sleeves had ruffles at the end of them and some more ruffles by the chest. The pants were normal pink silk bottoms.

The Dark elf almost started laughing after finally noticing what the swordsman had on. “I can see why you don’t want to go now. I’m sorry, are male princess.” she said just to mock what he was wearing.

Nikudemon no longer caring what he said closed his eyes. The mage was at a lost at what to do, seeing as how angry whose two has gotten. “Anyway we are on a strange world and the first question that comes out your mouth is were are your weapons and stupid little blue dragon!! That-” A strong loud slap when across the swordsman face sending him to land on his bottom. The elf ran back to the room she left from and the swordsman stood there holding his face.

After a minute of silent the mage finally said, “You should say you’re sorry.”

He walked away leaving the swordsman by himself holding his face. His eye’s opened wide and his mouth hanging there. What did I just do? Why did I let her get under my skin like that? What’s wrong with you today?

After leaving the swordsman in the kitchen, Arin decided to walk around and get a sense of his surroundings, and to blow off steam from his argument with Ryoko. As soon as he stepped out of the room, his staff shimmered and shrank to no larger than his hand. He then placed it in his pocket and continued down the hall. There was not much to this tiny house as he discovered, only a kitchen, living room, and bathroom on the first floor, and three bedrooms on the second.

He walked back down to the living room, and sat on the armchair in front of the fireplace. The mage stared into the empty fireplace for what seemed like ages. The swordsman was going up the stairs now, but Arin did not say a word. The birds outside had ceased their morning tune, depriving the empty room of sound. A few minutes later, he heard the swordsman descending the stairs. “Did you apologize?” Arin asked.

“Yeah, I apologized to her” replied the swordsman.

“Good, because it looks like we may have to stick together for a while” Arin said looking at the swordsman.

“How do you figure that?” inquired the swordsman.

“I don’t know, it’s just a feeling I have. It’s part of being a mage I guess” The young mage replied.

Ryoko came down the stairs and then sat in a chair on the other side of the room. “Well, what are we going to do now? We can’t go outside because of Princess swordsman, and there is nothing to do inside except watch wood rot!”

“I have a name too you know!” the swordsman half shouted.

“Fine, what’s your name then?” Ryoko asked with a definite sigh in her voice.

“My name is Nikudemon,” he said

“Okay, We can’t go outside because of Princess Nikudemon,” Arin said suddenly.

This comment caused the most curious reaction. Ryoko gave what looked like a smile, and Nikudemon turned red. The door to the kitchen creaked open to reveal the old man standing in the doorframe. He then addressed the group saying, “Okay, your clothes should be nice and dry by now. They are in the kitchen now so you can collect them.” The Old man then turned around and left the group.

“About time!” Nikudemon said happily as he walked toward the kitchen with Arin and Ryoko following quickly behind.

OoC: okay, now that was funny!!

BiC: She started laughing inside herself when she did notice the swordsmans clothes. They were like a girls clothes although, it did make his muscles stand out. She stopped laughing inside when she noticed what she was wearind. Two pieces of cloth that barely covered her clevage and her waist. Wow, I can't believe what I am wearing. She also looked over towards the mage, he was just wearing a simple light blue top and bottom. Looks like he got the lucky side of the clothing closet.

“Anyway we are on a strange world and the first question that comes out your mouth is were are your weapons and stupid little blue dragon!! That-” A strong loud slap when across the swordsman face sending him to land on his bottom. The elf ran back to the room she left from and the swordsman stood there holding his face.


Ryoko walked back to the room, she couldn't stand guys like that. Jeez, why are guys so insensative. Heh, maybe its not just him. Perhaps it is the way I act aswell. She sat down on the bed looking at her feet. Perhaps it was not him, but her. She sighed, how were they going to get out of this place? Her thoughts wandered to different things. But she was brought back to reality from a knock.

"Come in."

Just as Ryoko thought she was going to be able to be left alone, that swordsman walked through the door.

"What do you want know?!?" She said irritabley.

"I came to say that I was . . . . . sorry."

"Whatever. Like I care!" Ryoko really did care though. Why am I acting like this. I'm not usually this mean. Could it be that . . . . . . I like him?

"Listen I came to apologize and thats all!"

"There is no reason to yell."Ryoko said calmly. "I too am sorry for slapping you twice. Please forgive me, my actions have spoken for themselves."

"Well then, that is settled. And also, I am sorry for calling you miss priss. And for calling your dragon little."

"It does not matter anymore. It is in the past."

"Even though you slapped me, yes that is in the past, but it still hurts."

Ryoko just laughed inside, how corny was he. And how corny was she. "Hmm, well the past does hurt. Or, sometimes anyway." The swordsman just nodded and exitted the room. Here she was left to her thoughts. I couldn't possible like him. I mean were not even of the same race not to mention the fact that we just met each other. She figured that she had best return to the kitchen room that there were in. As Ryoko came down the stairs and she sat in a chair on the other side of the room. “Well, what are we going to do now? We can’t go outside because of Princess swordsman, and there is nothing to do inside except watch wood rot!”

The old man had been right, there clothes were nice and warm. Atleast it was nice to have clean clothes. She quickly spotted her red armour. Thank god, I can get out of this crap! She grabbed her clothes and quickly ran upstairs once more. She easily slipped on her armour and came back down. She noticed that both the swordsman and the mage had there things on too. Now if only I could find Biconne.

After everyone got there normal clothes back on Nikudemon turned to the old man. “I think you for helping us but could you tell me something?”

The old man shook his head and replied, “Of course, I’m sure you have a lot of them.”

“Yes, I do but could you just tell us the most important ones,” the swordsman replied sitting down in a chair. The rest followed and sat around the table.

“Well were should I start? First you’re on a world called Selain. Not every place in this world is nice to outsiders. I don’t know how you got here but I do have and idea who to ask. His name is Veanit and he takes people in that comes here of other worlds. But to get to him without fighting, you’re going to have to put your weapons somewhere. Maybe a back pack or something can keep them out of sight.”

“But why do we need to hide are weapons?” the swordsman asked.

“The city to the left and right of were I live both hates outsider. Your quickest way to get to the other side of this world is to go left.”

“Other side of the world?” the mage question.

“Yes. This world is a circle, flat like this table you sit at. In the middle of the circle is the great rule is. There is four section of the world and their names are Ry, Sy, Jy, and Oi. You are in Oi the only one place that like outsider. You want to go to Ry and meet Veanit. I don’t know what happen to your planet by I don’t think you got here by mistake.”

“By why would this Veanit know more then you?” the Dark elf asked.

“Veanit work with the rules that are it the middle of this world. He would know why your and here seeing how only they own how to take people out of their worlds.”

The swordsman got up from the table and looked at the old man. “I need time to think about what I’m going to do.” I also need to think about my action today. “Is there a ocean around this place?”

“Yes, just south of here. Why?”

“I think better by the ocean at night. So the rest of you can go to sleep if you want.”

Nikudemon didn’t wait to hear what the rest was going to do. He walked out the door and head down to the ocean that wasn’t far away form the house. After going there he sat down by the looking at the moon for the water. What am I doing losing control like that? What’s wrong if you? Could you really like her? No. Not someone like that. Right?

Arin watched as the swordsman turned his back on the group and walk out the door. The mage began to worry. If hardly anyone in the world like outsiders, then what would they thing of him. Even in his own world he stood out like a sore thumb with people staring at him, how would these people react? “Um, excuse me” he asked the old man, “Are there any mages in this world?”

“Mages? No. But there are witches and wizards” replied the old man

Oh good, thought Arin as he breathed a sight of relief.

“However, witches and wizards are considered evil in the public eye. Anyone who does magic is sent off to some unknown place and are never seen again,” said the old man warningly.

Well, there goes my idea, thought the mage. Only now did he realize that he and the old man were the only ones in the room. Ryoko had obviously retired for the night. Arin got up from the table and asked the old man, “Is it okay if I go outside, its just that I want to see if I can find any stars that I recognize.”

“Go right ahead, be my guest.” Replied the old man with a smile on his face.

The mage then walked out the door and into the night. He then walked to the top of a nearby hill and lay down on the grass, looking at the multitude of heavenly lights. After an hour or so, Arin failed to see any stars or constellations that he knew. Rats, thought the mage. I was sure I would be able to see one stupid star that I could recognize. I guess we really are a far way from home.

OoC: Sorry there is not more, this was the best idea I could think of.

OoC: I just updated Ryoko's profile with pictures if anyone wants to see them!!

BiC: Ryoko watched as the swordsman left. Nekudemon ehh, what a weird name. She silently left room back upstairs. As she got up stairs, she noticed a window that she had not seen before. It was pretty small but with her slight figure, she could manage it. She easily lifted the window. Heh, I feel like a teenager again, sneaking out to go party!! A slight smirk appeared on her face. She easily jumped from the seocond story and landed silently. Should I follow the swordsman, or try to find Biconne. I will . . . . . . . She had this strange feeling as if she should follow the srordsman. Plus, she always did love the beach! Biconne can fend for himself right now. She easily spotted the figure of the swordsman waking down south. The oldtimer, said the beach was very close to here. Just go down southwards he said. She noticed the swordsman was getting farther away. She silently ran to catch up. Or get close enough to where she would not lose him. She soon saw the ocean. Hmm, that old timer does live very close to the ocean. Odd that no one lives close like he does. She saw the swordsman sit down on the sound. He looked as if he was meditating. He just had his clothing washed and know he's sitting in the dirt. Jeez, how ungrateful is he?!?!?!

The moonlight shined on the swordsman and the ocean. He sat on the sand looking out at the moonlight. “What should I do? I don’t know how dangerous it will be if I leave this place?” Nikudemon closed his hand into a fist. “Why can’t things be easy!?”

Nikudemon threw the sand out into the water and put his hand back to his side.

“And what’s up with me and that woman!? I wish I had and answer to these question? Maybe we should first try and find her dragon. It was pretty mean of me to say that.”

He slammed his fist into the sand while looking down.

“Why did I have to said something so mean!!? Wearing pink cloth is no reason for me to get mad. Maybe sad or wanting to be a lone but not mean. I should tell Ryoko that’ll help her find her dragon.”

The man shook he’s head wildly yelling, “No! You’re not thinking clearly right now! I’ll leave it to Ryoko and Arin until I get my head cleared and make the right choice. We I just I’ll lay he until day come.”

Ryoko stood hiding behind a rock and heard everything that the swordsman said. She stayed watching him fight with himself making sure he didn’t hear her. Soon after the swordsman fell a sleep by the ocean she head back to the house and to her room.

BiC: Ryoko just watched the swordsman fight himself. What does he mean, he's not thinking straight. She stayed with him well sort of. She still hid but she did not leave until he fell asleep. He looks so peaceful, something I can never be. She silently wished him a good nights rest. She began walking to the cabin. But her thoughts, stopped her. Although it is time I returned to that cabin to get some sleep aswell, it feels asthough, I shouldn't leave him. She looked back once more. Perhaps, staying where she was, was not a bad idea. She sat back down against the rock from which she was hiding behind. She sat down with her back against the rock. Pretty soon,she too fell into a deep slumber.


Ryoko awoke anout an hour before dawn. She looked back to see if Nikudemon was still there. Anger flarred up inside of her, he was not there. Ugh, if he went back to the cabin, he would have easily seen me!

"What are you doing here?"

The voice made Ryoko jump. It was Nikudemon. Well, atleast he didn't leave me!

"What does it look like I was doing. I was watching over you to make shure nothing happened to you!"

"Well, you obviously couldn't have done a very good job if you were sleeping!"

"Ugh, fine then! I'm leaving!"

The top of the sun was just barely over the horizon when the mage awoke. I must have fallen asleep outside again, he thought I hope the old man did not worry too much. The mage got up; feeling the early morning dew on his hands as he stood up, and walked silently toward the house that was still in darkness. When he got close to the house he saw a figure run into the building and turned on the light in the kitchen. The mage approached the building slowly and silently; he then opened the door so he would not wake anyone up. However, when he walked in he saw Ryoko sitting the circular table. She was obviously angry.

“And where have you been all night?” she spat at Arin as he sat at the table.

“What business is it of yours? Last time I checked, you had no right to boss me around,” The mage answered curtly. “Besides, I could ask you the same question. I know you did not go to your room.”

“What makes you think I was not in my room?” she replied in very mild shock.

“Simple, I saw you sneaking down to the ocean right behind Nikudemon,” at that moment, the swordsman entered the room and sat as far away from the others as possible, as thought predicting another argument.

“What were you doing anyway?” Arin inquired.

“That’s none of your damn business!” the dark elf shouted.

“Oh … okay I understand perfectly now,” said the mage slyly.

The old man entered the kitchen at that moment. He looked tired, with his half-closed eyes looking at the group. Arin and Ryoko’s shouting had obviously awakened him. The old man reached for a cup in the cupboard and began to make himself some tea. As he waited for the tea to boil he turned toward the trio and asked them, “Well, what are you youngsters going to do now?”

Nikudemon put his head down on hard smooth top of the round wooden table after the old asked “Well, what are you youngster going to do now?”

“Where going to find my dragon of course!” the dark elf yelled, punching the wall near her making a lot of noise.

“Are you crazy!?” the mage yelled back, slamming his fist on the table. Both of them looked at each other with different ideas on what to do. The old man put his tea down on the table and cleared his throat, as if he was stopping them from fighting.

“Swordsman,” he said looking down at him. “What do you thing they should go do?”

“I don’t know,” the wander replied muffed by his head being down on the table. He was still really confused and could not think of the right move. He had never been like that and could not come up with the right thing to do. He was trying not to look and the old man or the rest of the group.

“I can’t hear what you said.” The old man heard what the swordsman said but he wanted to he his face.

“I don’t know!”

He yelled raising his head from the table. “I don’t know if I want to put them endanger! I just don’t know… I’ve never had to watch out for other people…” He put his head back down so not to show his sadness to the other.

“I see… Is that really the whole truth? You don’t seem like a man that never watched out for others. You also don’t seem like one that can’t decide on what to do.”

The old man was really starting to bug the swordsman. All he wanted to do when he made his chose last night was to not have to say he’ll leave it up to someone else.

The old man closed his eyes and turned around. “Well it looks like the decision is up to Arin and Ryoko. See as how Nikudemon won’t make one. That’s really how you want it Nikudemon?”

The swordsman raised his head once again to the old man. He didn’t look at the group only at the old man with tear coming don’t his face. The old man asked him something he did not or could not answer. The wander never had given anyone else the decision on deciding what to do with his life. He was finding it hard to say the word the old man asked of him. He tried many times to say the word but it would not come out. He shook his head yes but knew the old man really wanted to hear the words. That was the reason for him turning around.

“I see,” the old finally said stopping the swordsman from answering. “Well Arin, Ryoko I hope you can come up with what to do. I’ll be back to see you off when you have come up with your answer.”

With that said he left back up out and the swordsman put his confused head back down on the table. He whipped the tears out of his eyes and kept his head down. Right now he didn’t want to see the other face and knew running out the room was a bad idea. So he sat leaving Arin and Ryoko to pick what should be done next.

The old man had shut the door to the kitchen, leaving Arin, Ryoko, and Nikudemon alone in the room. That swordsman is so indecisive, thought the young mage. “Before you begin, I know you want to go look for your dragon, but let me say my bit first,” he said as he turned to the dark elf. “A dragon can look after itself, I do not think he or she or whatever it is will be in any Real danger for a long time. That is why I suggest we go see this Veanit person so we can secure a way home. Then we can go look for your dragon. What do you say?”

The look that Ryoko gave Arin made it so clear that his idea was unacceptable to her that it scared him a little.

“How about My idea,” she said with force. “We go look for my dragon, you keep your mouth shut, and I let you live.”

“Oh, resorting to death threats now are we?” replied the young mage. “You’ll have to do better than that to scare me!”

“Who is threatening? I am completely serious,” Ryoko spat back.

“We still need to go home!” shouted the mage.

“Duh! I am not stupid, unlike you! We go find my dragon first you idiot!” she shouted in response.

The two continued to argue long into the early morning, and even past the crowing of the rooster that signaled dawn had approached. Eventually, the two came to a conscious, but only after Ryoko punched Arin in the stomach, and he kicked her in the shin. “Fine we will go look for your stupid dragon.” Arin finally said.

“Never call her stupid!” Ryoko shouted. The mage expected her to slap him in the same manner she slapped the swordsman, who had fallen asleep despite the ear-splitting argument taking place three feet in front of him. However, the hand did not come.

“Why did you not slap me?” he asked.

“Because I already punched you,” she answered curtly.

The old man had walked back into the room and addressed the group again. “Well, by the sounds of the arguing, or lack thereof, I am assuming you have decided what you are going to do?”

“Yes,” answered Ryoko. “We are going to search for my dragon, then find our way home,” she said looking at the mage.

This is going to be interesting, thought Arin. Two people with short tempers traveling together. Should be fun if we don’t kill each other first.

“Oh good,” replied the man. “Well, since it is almost breakfast anyway, how about you stay and have a bite to eat before you go?”
