Symphony of Nightmares (Lady Knives)

OoC: This should be fun, I hope not to disappoint. Using Zorlo, link in my sig. Here goes nothing.

BiC: The fencer of the twilight stood before the opening to the forest that was said to lead to both salvation and freedom, things this young boy knew to be only obtained through death. This forest, aptly named the Forest of Nightmares stood before him, ever foreboding, and yet he desired to know if the claims made by the people at the town a few miles back were true, that once one entered, they were never seen or heard from again. Such folklore could only be found in books and other documents ascribed by people, but then who told others these things. How would word get to someone that the forest made people disappear, perhaps they had simply decided that returning was useless, and this is what brought the green haired man here. His eyes pierced deep into the darkness of the forest, the sun setting behind him. In the twilight of the day, he headed into the forest, seeking answers to questions that had deserved a logical answer, even in a world where logic was lacking.

The emerald eyes of the man gazed into the forest, and then looked upon the path he was standing on. The path a little while back had been brilliantly laid cobble stone, but the path here was mostly dirt and a few pebbles here and there, ever distributed from the decay and rain that had eaten away at this path for the last while. He was having a hard time deciding whether or not he should head into the ever growing darkness of the forest. He folded his arms, his hands covered between his upper arms and ribcage, the growing cold of the night was beginning to afflict his body, even under his long shirt and pants, but he would persevere to learn what he could. He took a quick step into the woods and began his journey to wherever fate had destined him to go.

The trees stood well over three times the fencer's height, the branches formed, in essence, an intricate labyrinth above his head. The great trees were mostly leafless, the winter was upon the planet, and the fencer had the sense of longing that always arose during the season of death, the feeling of incompleteness. His eyes looked ahead, but his mind wandered as he stared off into the darkness. The fencer's right hand laid upon the pommel and hand-guard of his sword, his fingers tips tapping the gold of his hand-guard. His gaze found nothing, but he could almost tell something was out here, even if it wasn't anywhere near him.

I thought so, he told himself with a sigh, indistinguishable from sadness or relief. Nothing is out here but he owls and other animals of the night. The sound of the owl's whoing brought back memories of the fencer's last nights before he had began his search for his allies. How long has it been since I have seen any of them. Celia it has to have at least been a few days, and for the others, it has been weeks, perhaps even months. I've found several new allies though, and they shall serve to better us. I can't wait until we bring all of us together, shall be a joyous occasion.

The youths mind, so filled with thoughts of the nearest thing he had to a family, was easily leading him around in the dark, lacking all idea of where he was headed to. Suddenly, the youth tripped on something and fell face first into the ground. "Ouch," he muttered, his voice muffled by the dirt under it. "That twinges quite an amount," he added as he rose from the dirt. The fencer quickly wiped himself off and turned around to what he had tripped over and saw a rather large stone, not surprised considering his mind was wondering, he had tripped over a stone. The fencer looked around and saw nothing out of the ordinary and then spun himself around still looking. "Guess this forest really is empty," he groaned, disappointed at the turn out of nothing. "Well, now to find my way out of her," he said as he began to leave the forest in an attempt to find his way out.

OoC: I hope this post is rather good, I am unsure. This shall be most fun.
