Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

OoC: This is my "I'm no longer a full time employee because my summer job ended," battle royal that I was telling you all about. Basically, this is a six person battle, the only things I ask is that if you join, please only use one character. I'll be using Zorlo, and this should be most fun.

BiC: The young fencer stood outside of the giant amphitheater. It was the time between the fall of dusk and the rise of dawn. The stars were still visible, but were fading into the blue sky of day. Standing at the entrance of the enormous entrance, he was ready to enter and look around and see what had changed since his last visit two years ago.

Two years ago, the fencer's master, Kurenkento, brought him here and told him the story of it. The fencer entered the grandly decorated entrance and entered the seating area. Looking down upon the massive battle field, which could have been no smaller then four thousand feet with stones and trees scattered about, giving the battlefield the feeling of real field. The fencer had heard the stories from his master, and he now more then ever wished to fight in the great place.

The warrior placed his right hand over the pommel of his rapier and then moved his hand backwards onto his short sword. The blades were ready for battle, and this place may provide such a challenge. The blade armed warrior moved towards the eastern wing, where the coliseum rose up to where the announcer and royalty would have sat in the times when this place was in use. He the announcer's booth and jumped upon the up-rise above the platform, protecting the royalty from the sun's glare. He examined the back-round, where two mountains stood forming a "V" from where their bases met. Such things meant that this place, surrounded by mountains would have a good cloud cover most of the year. But in the summer, as it was, such things were slightly less likely to happen due to the hot weather.

The fencer returned his eyes to the battle ground and thought about the story of this place. His master had told it to him when he showed him the location of this ancient battle site.
***
"Zorlo," the tall, white haired Neko spoke, slightly tipping up his hat, although not allowing the fencer to see his eyes. "I have brought you here to bask in the legacy of this place. It was built hundreds of years ago and was where many strong fighters gathered to do battle here. The strongest were the glorious victors, the weakest perished, or if they were luckily, left wounded, both in pride and body."

"Master, this place is very great. I wish I could have a battle here," the young boy told him.

"You may, one day. They say that every once in a while, fighters come here to celebrate the ancient right of seeing who the most powerful is. Your dream may come true should you remember this place. I fought here, once, long ago. But that is unimportant, I want you to promise me that you will return."

"I shall master, and when I do, I'll walk out of here as the strongest warrior ever."

"Good to here, now then, let us get something to eat."

"Yes!"
***
The sun rose between the cracks in the mountains and basked the eastern side of the amphitheater with its light. The fencer watched from where he was perched as others seemed to appear from all directions. Perhaps this was to be the big battle he hoped for when he was younger, and perhaps he would finally be able to prove himself the strongest warrior in the arena.

OoC: Okay, more or less, no one starts fighting until everyone is posted. More or less, I want to know what has brought your character here, and have them enter the amphitheater, but do not begin battles with anyone. After all reserved people have posted, and any others who joined have posted, we'll get this party started.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

OoC: just so people know this battle is not in either Zorlo's or Tsuukai's timeline. it also assumes the Stacia thing dosent happen, but Tsuukai has the upgrades I was going to give him after my fic. So yeah i just had to clear that up.

BiC:
The cold of the night did not affect the Master of Shadows who was perched atop a high mountain. The blue sky in the east signaled the return of the sun getting rid of the darkness he enjoyed. A cold wind blew across the skyline causing his cloak to flutter, with it a dull headache. Tsuukai felt the power that was near he closed his eyes to find its source.

He could see himself for only a second moving fast he was brought to a large Amphitheater. It’s massive walls rose high above the ground surrounding a place used for death, for pleasure. He went into it body less and found a lone figure walking its steps. He was powerful enough, yet it was a different power one he had not sense in a long time. It was familiar as if he had seen the power, but he could not recognize it.

Tsuukai’s eyes shot open as he returned to where he was, high above the world below. The amphitheater was located behind him to the west. He started down the mountainside in search for the strange power the figure held. As he walked he wondered why he could not find his face usually he could see there faces, but this time he could only see a blurry rough design like the world around was when he sensed someone.

He took only ten steps till he was standing on the shadow of the mountain. The shadow reached over the valley and the Amphitheater itself. He smiled quickly before transcending into the shadow to find the source of the strange power. He arose on the highest point of the amphitheater the eastern wing. He stood high above to see the figure on the ground bellow back turned.

“You one with power turn so I can see your face,” Tsuukai commanded placing his hand on his saber. He didn’t know why but looking at the figure he almost felt like he had been their once before. Instead of turning the “stranger” stop walking and stood still waiting for something. “I said turn around, state your name warrior,”

“My name is Z…” He started turning around to show his face to Tsuukai Ita the master of Shadows. The black-eyed man’s eyes grew wide as he saw the familiar face and he finished the sentence for the man.

“Zorlo, fencer of the alliance of Tasogare.” He yelled allowed showing he knew the warrior.

“Tsuukai Ita, the master of shadows it seems we meet again,”

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

Tay drifted on the cool mountain winds, both hands held over his eyes to shade them from the sun hidden behind a curtain of mist-like clouds. The drow shivered slightly as the piercing winds found their way through his piwafwi and armor. The winged half-breed shoved his discomfort aside and resumed scanning the horizon, determined to find some sign of life. He had been wandering aimlessly for months, and had only encountered a few settlements. And those . . . well, humans were not apt to welcome either drow or vampires into their homes, let alone a combination of the two.

Suddenly, a large, dark building rose over the horizon, catching Tay's attention. Sighing with relief, the half drow pulled his arms in tight and cupped his wings, banking to the right as he lowered his altitude. The winged drow's relief was short-lived however, as he began to recognize the battle arena for what it was. He would find no rest there.

He sighed again. Well, he might as well see what it was like. After all, he was not going to find any rest in the mountians either. As the half drow, half vampire soared over the open arena, he flipped over and cupped his wings, halting his forward moment and descending straight down. As he descended, Tay noticed two men facing off in the middle of the open field. As one, both men turned to look at the ebony-skinned elf descending out of the sky. It was too late to go back now.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

Twilight. With the sun's rising so too, does another. The Kiwadoi stood up upon the branch the branch of the tree he slept in that night as he watched the sun start the day. He came to this remote region from a rumor he 'aquired' from a human.

**********
"Please, don't kill me. I have a wife to support. She'll give birth soon. Why would you kill me?"

"Why? Because I enjoy killing humans." The Kiwadoi raised his claws to strike through the man's skull.

"Wait! I know of a place where strong warriors fought! It's near here. Just through the forest!"

"And why should in care, human?"

"Because Humans were most of the combatants!" He cried out. This stopped the Kiwadoi.

"Oh? Humans huh? I think I'll go there. But first...." A sickening crunch was heard as Nekatsuki sunk his claws deep into the man's head, killing him instantly. He yanked his hand out of the man, letting his body hit the ground while Nekatsuki smiled, licking the blood from his claws.
************

He smiled in memory of that kill. Somehow, the blood of that kill was just a little sweeter. Soon the sun would be over the mountain tops. The half-breed's sign it was time to go. With a final deep breath he leapt from the high tree branch to land deceptively light next to the body of the human he killed. It was half gone and the little creatures of the forest scattered from their breakfast of the insides of the human. "I think I'll let the animals finish this off. Now I see why only the hungriest and most desperate predators eat humans. They taste horrible."

He left at a run for the arena, tearing through the forest like a cheetah before he immerged onto a vast grassy plain. Before him in the mddle stood the amphitheater he seeked. Mountains ringed the vast plain the structure sat on, the forested pass being the only exception. The sun was making its appearance over the mountains, twilight long past and day fully started. The clear was clear and to Nekatsuki it was a great day to hunt. A gentle wind was blowing and tugging at his pure white hair. His tail flicked once and her was off, not at a run, but at a great louping stride. Slowly, the great amphitheater was coming closer to him as deer and other animals began their routines. Even at the leasurely pace he set, he would soon be in its door.

Well maybe, as figures could be seen outside of the amphitheater. One looked to be winged. As he drew closer he could see details of the other two. This is that set Nekatsuki's sadistic smile off. Not one, but two humans. Warriors by their look and likely strong. Today would filled with much fun. "Beautiful. Let the hunt begin," he said to himself as he soon came to a halt a few meters from the three, his tail lashing back and forth and betraying his state of excitement to the others.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

The fencer smiled as he noticed the great turn out of warriors. His eyes had been taken off the master of shadows and onto the strange looking dark elf with wings and the odd Neko with strange eyes. He seemed to be the only excited person about what was to take place here, a battle that would prove most awesome. The green haired man turned back to look the dark fencer in the face, business had to be tended to before the two swordsmen had their rematch.

"Tsuukai, it seems others have shown up. I shall have to take a rain date on our battle until these others have been defeated, but I don't sense that will be easy." With those words, the fencer jumped from the top of the amphitheater where he was perched and down towards where the strange cat demon stood. He descended with some speed, but something would prevent him from jumping from the highest poin to the ground, well that and the layout of the battle field. The fencer had easily jumped from the top floor to about the fifth floor, and he was still smiling as he looked down and the strange Neko, his mind focused on what this new foe was. From where he was, the fencer walked down the stairs towards the battle field.

As he passed through each floor, the odd eyed Neko grew more and more impatient, waiting was not what he had planned for, but if this foe were strong, then it would not matter. When the fencer hit the first floor, he jumped from the perch down to the arena below and stood up after he hit the ground. The fencer was still smiling, even as he slipped his right arm into his buckler and placed his left hand on the hilt of his rapier. The potential for this battle to be enjoyable was very high, and the fencer was ready for anything.

Zorlo was finally ready to battle the strange Neko creature that had shown itself here, but even now, his mind was drawn to battling the Master of Shadows, it was all consuming, but he had to make sure no one would get in their way before he did, for what good would a battle be if once could not enjoy it.

"I am Zorlo, fencer of Tasogare, and who are you?" He asked most calmly and happily, trying to maintain his focus.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

A neko-dragon, a drow-vampire, and a human who almost beat you, seems you drew a bad hand this time, The voice inside Tsuukai’s head chuckled. Bad, or good. I do enjoy a challenge, Tsuukai replied. Of course I forgot who I was talking to, you are the great master of shadows aren’t you, Tsuukai’s master mocked. Of course, who better to take on the best then their own shadow? Tsuukai ended he conversation with that thought. The neko, and his old opponent where standing eye to eye, as in any good battle. Tsuukai couldn’t see the drow, figuring he was far enough away; Tsuukai closed his eyes focusing his mind on the half dragon.

As his eyes closed the world all but disappeared around him. The whole world seemed fuzzy, almost dead, yet he could see it all. Anywhere he wanted to go was only a thought away. He raced towards the neko without taking a step. As blurry as the world was the strange being was standing there fully as if he was real, while the world was a blind pulled over his eyes. The master of shadows felt he could look into the things very soul, searching for his power. He was powerful, very powerful he could tell that right off the bat. His race was an odd one mixed between two powerful ones, logically Nekatsuki had to be stronger then both of them. But, he seemed to be lacking. Powerful enough to melt boulders or kill a man without flinching, he was, however he could go above, and beyond that. Why he didn’t was a mystery to Tsuukai.

As he searched for a trump card in the upcoming conflict he sensed something wrong. Metal, claws, a power about to attack. The black rider could make out that much, but what was not an issue, where was a much bigger problem. The answer was of course directly behind him, a sneak attack. Not dishonest in the least, all is fair in love and war after all.

The shadow’s eye’s shot open as he dove, rolling out of the way of a slash of claws coming from the drow’s gloves. The drow turned to purpled haired man, who now had a bow in his hands and an arrow to the string. “Every armor has holes,” Tsuukai muttered to himself drawing the arrow back quickly as he looked for said hole. The master of shadows found it with relative speed, right between the winged man’s chest plate and arm covers. A weakness not very big, but enough to fit a black tipped arrow through. Tsuukai’s hand let go sending the arrow flying at the opening.

The arrow cut through the thick air. Speed picking up, danger climaxing as the arrow drew close. Tay by no means was a fool, he could see the arrow, and where it was heading. Moving at this time was pointless he was fast, but the arrow was faster. Instead he used the power of the gloves to stop the arrow, just as it’s seemingly poisoned tip touched the rough skin of Tay. “I believe this is yours,” the large Drow laughed as he tossed the arrow back to the master of shadows.

“No it was meant for you,”

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

Nekatsuki's tail was flicking back and forth from his desire to fight and the feelings of violence and death he naturally gave off increased. "Me? I am a hunter of humans and you are my next prey," he replied, showing off his fangs in a beastial smile and holding up one clawed hand. His mouth began to glow white and shone between his teeth.

"Prey? Sorry, but I won't be the one to lose here for I have another to defeat here." Zorlo had raised his shield and rapier to ready when the Kiwadoi openned his glowing mouth wide and pointed himself at the fencer.

"Die!" The word was almost breathed out more then spoken as Nekatsuki unleashed Light beam at the fencer's head. He brought his buckler to block for a moment before ducking left and throwing down his shield the light beam managed to gaze his right shoulder, giving him a painful burn and turning that part of his shirt to ash and revealing his chainmail just before it ended. Luckily the chain stopped his shoulder from burning too badly. His shield, on the other hand, wasn't so lucky as it had hit the ground with a splat. It was past halfway to melting. "You reacted faster then I would have given credit. And while wearing chain mail as well." Might as well go close range now and see what this human can do. Nekatsuki charged in at the fencer, punching him in the chest hard enough to hear the chain mail grind. Another punch aimed to his face missed as he dodged back and thrusted his rapier at the half-breed's shoulder. Nekatsuki deflected the thrust only to be forced back as Zorlo turned the thrust into a slash.

"Come on, Zorlo. You must be able to do more," Nekatsuki said as wiped a bit of white blood from his chest. Didn't move quite fast enough it seemed. Black scales moved up the Kiwadoi's arms and legs as he moved to a readying stance. Unknown to the fencer, however, was that Nekatsuki's back also was covered in scales. "Come at me, fencer!" He yelled, smiling. Him mouth glowed white just before he unleashed an expanding cloud of green mist. It was his Poison dragonbreath.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

To Tay’s eyes, the arrow he tossed back to the man seemed to float slowly through the air, barely drifting along. Such was the speed with which he slung his bow from his back and fitted a drow-made arrow to it. The arrow took on a faint purple aura as Tay released it, the missile spurred on by a gravitational boost. The black arrow blasted through Tsuukai’s arrow, hitting it directly in the center and shattering it into countless splinters. Tay’s arrow continued its flight, heading straight for the Master of Shadow’s heart. The man barely ducked out of the way, the arrow just skimming his shoulder.

Tsuukai looked up from his kneeling position in surprise, finding Tay ready with another arrow already fitted to his long bow. The drow couldn’t help it; he let a faint smile come onto his face, the tips of his exaggerated canines poking out from under his upper lip. He released the arrow, again aided by his gauntlet’s powers. Tsuukai leapt into the air with astounding speed, the arrow skidding off of the stone coliseum floor. With a speed to match Tay’s, the Master of Shadows fitted, drew, and released an arrow of his own. Grinning at the man’s helplessness, Tay caught the arrow in his hand. Shaking his head, he crushed it into pieces.

“Please do better than that.” The weaponmaster of House Shobalar said, spreading his wings and leaping into the air. “If you don’t, there’s a good chance that I may kill you.” As he fitted another arrow, he conjured a globe of darkness over himself. This blinded the drow, but sight was not necessary to one who grew up in the Underdark. The half-breed let loose four arrows in rapid succession, each one aimed just a few inches above the previous one.

The drow slung the bow over his shoulder and set about to his real plan. The arrows were merely to keep his opponent on his toes, the globe of darkness only a shield to hide his real attack. The drow’s deft fingers traced intricate patterns in the air as he muttered the castings of a spell. When he reached the climax of the spell, with only the trigger word left to release the power of the red glow that surrounded his fingers, the Secondboy wrapped his piwafwi around himself, becoming invisible as he pulled the hood over his head.

The vampire snapped his wings down around his body, dropping to the ground. As he fell, he heard a whistling noise just above his head. Tay grinned at the narrow miss, thankful for the lessons he had received in speed casting battle magics. As his line of sight fell beneath the black globe, Tay immediately saw his opponent, a throwing knife between his teeth as he launched arrow after arrow into the globe.

Tay had to keep from laughing at the futility of the man’s actions, although this was precisely what he had planned and hoped for. The invisible drow sprinted to the left, around the side of the man. As he silently skidded to a stop behind the man, he threw back his piwafwi and lifted his hands, clearly saying the trigger word to his spell. Flames erupted in a roar from his hands to envelope Tsuukai.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

The fencer watched as the odd green gas that the strange creature released began to move towards him, and the fencer jumped back slightly. The fencer didn't have any second thoughts as he acted, he pulled his blade back and gathered air around his sword and released the air wave, easily deflecting throwing the air towards the dragon/neko, who merely sucked it in and released green mist from his nose.

"Not bad little human," Nekatsuki commented as he readied charged at the fencer. His claws were very sharp, and the fencer had to be careful of them, and he stepped back as the dragon/neko cut into his shirt and his nails scraped along his armor. The scraping on the metal created sparks as the fencer fell back and did a quick back-flip to recover his balance. The green haired man struck quickly at his foes, launching several thrusts as the strange creature guarded the blade with the backs of his hands and then began to thrust his claws at the swordsman. The fencer would dodge a foe thrust and then counter with a thrust of his own, and then the dragon/neko would dodge and counter attack in the same manner, or block and counter attack due to the power of his claws. Suddenly, the the fencer thrust towards the dragon's face and Nekatsuki deflected the sword and thrust his left hand into the fencer's chest, pushing in slightly, leaving small wounds in cut in him, and small breaks in his armor. The fencer moved back, holding his chest with his right hand and small amounts of blood seeping from his mouth.

"You aren't half bad yourself," the fencer told the strange eyed Neko. "I'll have to fight with everything I've to to beat you apparently," the fencer told him as he placed his right hand on his short sword and pulled it from its sheath in a back hand hold. Quickly spinning it in his hand, he pointed the blade of the newly drawn weapon at the dragon/neko. He quickly moved again, this time slashing like mad at his foe who moved his scales to deflect the attacks, trying to prevent the swordsman from defeat him. The Neko/Dragon turned quickly allowed the blades to hit his back and he turned quickly, swiping at the fencer's face, who quickly jumped back and slid on his heels as he watched his foes next move.

"Come boy, you have to show me more skill, you couldn't hurt me if you tried," Nekatsuki mocked him.

"I shall," the fencer said as he gathered energy into his sword and stared down upon his foe. Quickly slashing both swords in the shape of an eight pointed star, the air stood silently as the "X" slash finished and flew towards his foe. "Tempest Slash," the fencer roared as his increased Air Slash flew towards his foe.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

OoC: Yeah this one is short so sue me I have an excuse. If anyone can spot the obscure refrence in this post they will win two million internets.

Bic:
Tsuukai was well aware that the drow was no longer behind the black globe. He could sense the power moving. As the master of shadows closed his eyes even the power of invisibility did not halter his sight. Tsuukai could see the drow, a flame surrounding him in the dream like world that appeared when Tsuukai so chose. He felt the word being spoken that send flames spiraling towards the black rider. Tsuukai took the second to fall into the shadow of the mountain that covered them.

The half vampire who was expecting to see a well-done fencer was surprised to see nothing when the flam moved on, but no one could tell Tay’s emotion by looking at his face, for his face was as stern, and cold as always. “Sight is not always necessary to see,” A voice called from behind, and as the large drow turned a ball of black energy was shot. Tay dodged the attack with relative ease smiling at the man’s persistence.

“Lets see how well you can see,” The drow still smiled even though no one could see it. The invisible warrior took an arrow out of his quiver, and while taking aim noticed that his opponents eyes where closed. This struck the half vampire as odd, but unimportant it was his funeral. The bowstring snapped forward sending the deadly weapon into the air with a force pulling it faster then it should have gone. The master of shadows sixth sense would not have detected the arrow itself, for it can only sense power, or energy, but since the unusual gravitonal force was pulling it, the invisible arrow could be found by a strange purple fog speeding towards Tsuukai. With his eye’s still closed the black riders hand snapped out at precisely the moment the arrow was about a foot away. His hand grasped the arrow stopping it from moving forward. If an on looker was watching it would have been a magnificent sight, but no one cared to watch the dance of blades, and arrows. The strong fingers of Tsuukai snapped the arrow in half effortlessly while the face smiled.

“I shall enjoy this,” The master of shadows voice drifted over the amphitheater like a fog, and while one could see through it, the fog was still there, always lingering.

OoC:Yeah Tsuukai sense ability is confusing if anyone needs me to explain it in great detail just pm me.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

As the Tempest slash came, the Kiwadoi stood surprised for a moment at the attack. He hadn't expected a swordsman to know something like that. His surprised disappeared as the attack neared him. He didn't have much time to react as the 8-point star of wind came at him, but a plan came to his mind. It would be a bit risky, but if it worked he'd be in a perfect position to retaliate. This will be interesting. Let's see how this works. With a small lurch, the Kiwadoi launched forward at the incoming, gaining as much speed as he could before he'd need to execute the maneuver. "Are you crazy or something," Zorlo said as he watched on from the other side of the Tempest slash. He never got a response as Nekatsuki ducked and turned to slide spinning under the attack and within a foot of a now surprised Zorlo.

"Am I crazy now, Human?" Nekatsuki asked as he came from the crouch into a upward kick that Zorlo just barely dodged. Another kick that mirrored the first soon followed, nailing Zorlo in the chest and sending him into the air. Nekatsuki began to jump and intercept Zorlo for a follow-up, but choose not to. After all, if he killed the fencer now what fun would he have later. "Did you enjoy Rising Sun?" The Half-breed asked smiling as Zorlo landed on his but in the dirt.

"I'll get you for that," He replied as he stood back. Nekatsuki only smiled wide while his tail whipped back and forth in an unconscious response to his excited mood.

"And what will you do? Cut me in half?" He said as his white tail moved to make the appearance of a cut splitting him in half at the waist. "Or maybe take out my eye?" His tail covered one eye as he smiled wider. He could see he was getting under Zorlo's skin. "No, I know what you want. My head," he said as his tail wrapped lightly around his neck. Zorlo seemed ready to explode.

"I'll show you what I can do!" He exploded as he launched two consecutive Air slashes at Nekatsuki followed by a tempest slash. Perfect. Openning his glowing mouth wide, the Kiwadoi unleashed his Ice breath and froze the air blades solid. He caught the two Air slashes before jumping and kicking the third into the ground. As he looked at them, shock covered his face for a moment.

"You mean to tell me that I was worried about these dull things? I couldn't cut paper with these." He left the frozen Tempest slash on the ground while he used a claw to turn the frozen Air slashes into makeshift ice blades and took a fighter stance. The blades were double-edged to add insult to injury. "Now these can cut!" Nekatsuki yelled and shot forward to begin his assault.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

Tay quickly fitted three arrows to his bowstring and set his sights on the man. He still had his eyes closed, which was enlightening Tay rather than confusing him. Drow as a race are extremely difficult creatures to fool, and Tay was no exception. In the Underdark, sight was a petty thing of little consequence. There were countless ways one saw in the Underdark without normal sight.

“Here then, fool!” He yelled, powering up two of the three arrows as he had before. “Lets see if you can catch two at once!” With that, the drow released the bowstring, all three arrows flying towards Tsuukai. The two gravity-aided missiles quickly outdistanced the normal one, but that was of little consequence. As he had before, Tsuukai caught the two gravity-powered arrows, one in each hand. The man snapped them in half, a confident and superior look on his face. Right up until the third arrow caught up and blasted through his shoulder, drawing a spray of blood and a look of horror. Tay laughed at the man’s foolishness and overconfidence.

“Don’t underestimate me!” He yelled, running forward and slinging his bow over his shoulder. “I am the Weapon Master and Secondboy of House Shobalar, Seventh House of Menozoberranzan!” He proclaimed, three slender blades growing out of each gauntlet and boot. The drow leapt forward and slashed downward at Tsuukai. The Master of Shadows, in his statement and panic, had opened his eyes and now leapt backwards, just barely dodging Tay’s attack. But the half-breed did not relent. He followed after the man, his arms pumping furiously in a series of stabs that pricked at Tsuukai’s chest, despite his best efforts to avoid them.

Tsuukai rolled under and around Tay, drawing his sword and bringing it to bear. The drow knocked it away effortlessly and spun around, brining his other arm across in a horizontal swipe. Tsuukai ducked under that attack and brought his sword back in, quickly jabbing back out at Tay’s torso. The drow took the hit without complaint, trusting in his superior armor. His trust was apparently well founded, for the blade hit the black armor and skidded off to the side, doing little more than slightly bruising the drow.

Grinning now, Tay brought his armored knee up into Tsuukai’s face, knocking him over backwards, blood trailing from his nose. The half-blood retracted the blades in his gauntlets and began weaving his fingers through a spell, chanting quietly under his breath. This human could not match his speed or strength, and his human-made blade could not pierce his drow-made armor. It was time to end this. Tay’s fingers took on a blue aura as he went through the spell. He would not kill this human, but he would not completely spare him, only to have him attack when his back was turned. Rather, he would incapacitate him, and leave him to find his way to whatever home he had when he awoke.

The drow was not given the chance to follow through on his intentions, however. A sphere of darkness blasted between Tay’s hands and into his chest, sending him tumbling over backwards. Another quickly followed, but Tay was prepared now. The drow leapt over the orb and rushed Tsuukai, who had leapt up and back into the shadows of the amphitheatre wall.

Growling at the frustrating human’s stubbornness, Tay held forth his hands and triggered his spell, a cone of blue ice spraying forth. When the spray ended, Tay saw that the ice had formed crystal-like formations on the wall, but Tsuukai was not to be seen. Through both instincts and decades of training, Tay flipped backwards and caught the Master of Shadows’ descending blade between the miniature ones sprouting from his boots. Turning his hands and locking the blade between his boots, Tay slung himself to the side, hurling Tsuukai away.

Before the man had even hit the ground, the drow spun around on the ground and drew his bow, fitted an arrow, and let fly. The missile shot through the man’s forearm as he hit the ground and bounced once.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

The fencer watched in horror as the beast he faced down turned his Air Slashes into ice swords for himself. The fencer watched, scared in all respects, as the creatures practiced with its new weapons. The fencer took time to prepare himself as well as he drew his short sword in his right hand and rolled the weapon by its hilt until the blade pointed the same direction as his thumb. It was to be a dual bladed war here, and it was hard to say who would be the winner. The fencer readied his weapons to clash with the neko/dragon and test the skills this creature had. This would be a long and hard battle, but the fencer needed one of these.

In a flash, the two warriors charged, weapons brandished as they drew near for combat. In a quick flash, the two warriors blades clashed, the clang of metal against ice created a mix of sparks and water vapor from the attack. The rapier of the fencer and the left ice blade of the Neko, the two stood silently as they clashed, pushing with great power against each other, and in an instance, the two broke the clash and crossed their other swords in a similar lock. The fencer quickly swung his rapier, knocking away the Neko's sword and then began to attack liked mad at him with his swords, the two warriors were not as evenly matched as Zorlo had thought.

The fencer, despite being slower then the Neko, was fending off the creatures blades with relative ease. As the battle intensified, the two warriors attacked more fiercely, both trying desperately to defeat the other, but the fencer seemed to be overpowering the foe slowly. Finally, the fencer took the offensive by dodging under Nekatsuki's swords as he swung them both horizontally at the green haired man, who then quickly spun struck the powerful demon who guarded with his sword, but was thrown back, slightly shaken.

The battle had caused the fencer to begin to sweat, he was fighting with everything he had, and it was still barely matching his foes power and speed, this only drove the swordsman to try harder to defeat the dragon/neko spawn. The swords hit hard and furiously as the two warriors attempted to gain an edge over each-other, but none was being gained by other warrior. Finally, the dragon made a move by swinging his sword in an 'X' towards the fencer. The swordsman jumped back and then jumped upon the Neko's back and launched himself into the sky and readied to attack again. Quickly the fencer fired a quick barrage of two Air Slashes, one Cross Air Slash and one Tempest Slash down upon the Neko. He watched and hoped one of the attacks would deal with the powerful foe.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

Why do you play these games with the drow, you have the power to kill him here, and now yet you refuse what is the meaning of your ignorance! The black wizard spoke from his emerald prison into the mind of Tsuukai, And what will that do, I will be at a loss if I show my full strength so quickly. He could have something bigger, and better up his sleeve what then? Tsuukai replied back in silence getting to his feet slowly. Stop being a fool Tsuukai, kill him before he gets a chance to strike you again, This time the voice sounded slightly more irritated. Am I not the one battling here not you,. Are I not the one who trained you, am I not the one who gave you power beyond comprehension.. Maybe that was my first mistake you. You ungrateful slime I should… he spoke loudly into the master of shadow’s mind before he was cut off, You’ll do nothing, I am the one who has control over my body, you are trapped and your only connection to this world, is me so stay quiet, His harsh words ended the conversation at that. He noticed a small stream of dark blood was cascading off his arm; he simply tore a piece of his cloak, and wrapped it up as if it was nothing at all.

“You are going to fail so why try,” the drow’s word spoke hard as he hovered slight above the ground the master of shadows was standing on.

“That depends,” he spoke calmly looking up sharply at the half vampire, “It depends on what I am trying to do. If it where true I was trying to defeat you then yes it is quite possible my mission will not end in success, but perhaps that is not why I am here. Perhaps there is more then meets the eyes. Then again I could just be here to quench my undeniable thirst for blood, but if then, then why would I say other wise. I guess you’ll never know my motive, or wither I will fail or not, if you cannot comprehend my reasons for being here in this empty amphitheater. One could not blame you for your ignorance, one who roams the world for battle couldn’t possible understand my words completely, and if you don’t then I guess it will be you who fails,”

“Don’t take me for a fool, I understood everything you just said,”

“Did I say you didn’t,” he said with a half smirk, “You seem to jump to conclusions to fast, or maybe you are only making it seem like that to trick me,”

“You talk to much,” he said raising his bow to the Man of Shadows.

“To talk is to learn, it is not a fact that I talk to much only that you learn to little,” This only rose the Drow’s anger, he let his arrow fly threw the sky slicing it seemingly in two. Dim light shown on the arrow’s tips making it sparkle, like something you would see on a drawing only mush faster. The flat surface of the blade held by the shadow blocked the arrow snapping it in two as it struck. The arrow itself was merely a distraction as Tsuukai had assumed, before he had a chance to react a thin white shinning web was covering him completely not allowing him to move.

“It seems you are the one who learns little,” he said placing himself on even ground with the shadow he was dueling. He laughed a little delivering a swift kick to the side, normally this would have done little, but his hard armor made it that much worse. Tsuukai cringed only slight preparing himself for what was next. The drow lifted his gloved hand high in the air preparing, a gravity filled punch. The hand flew downwards, but a thin layer of what looked like see through shadows stopped it. It fell directly after.

“Nice shot,” the tied down warrior mocked.

“I’ve had enough of this,” The half vampire said with rage as he sent three sharp blades out of his gloves.

“Well that’s a new one,” The warrior only inches away from death still mocked his opponent.

“Any last words,” The drow said menacingly pointing his three this blades at the shadows neck.

“Yeah, the sun is behind you,” He said sinking fast into the shadow the drow had unintentionally made allowing Tsuukai to escape, the web, but to where Tay didn’t know.

Re: Battle in the Amphitheater (HH, Neko, Puck and two others)

OoC: Sorry about the massive wait.

Bic:

Nekatsuki's arrogance had gotten the best of him and he knew it. He knew he had little to no knowledge of wielding swords when he grabbed the fencer's frozen air slashes to make into blades. Zorlo rather effortlessly turned aside the Kiwadoi powerful, but awkward strikes with his blade skills. Finally, an "X" blade attack was foiled as Zorlo jumped back then leapt off Nekatsuki's shoulder and back to launch high into the air. He turned to see the fencer launch two of his air slashes, followed by a cross air slash and his tempest slash. "Again!? You can only surprise a person once you know!" Nekatsuki yelled arrogantly as he froze these new air slashes with his DB: Ice.

This time though, he'd had enough weapon combat. He threw the 'Air slashes' he held to destroy the first of the frozen attacks as his and Zorlo's hit and shattered on each other. Now for the last two, Nekatsuki thought to himself as her watched the cross slash and tempest slash approach him. An idea was forming even as the shards of the air slashes hit the ground. Why not punch them? He'd already found out the things were blunt to begin with, not that sharpened ice would cut his scales anyway. Pulling back one fist, he smashed the cross slash aside, watching the shards scatter from the hit. He then brought the other up to uppercut the tempest slash, shattering to into several unfortunately sharp shards. Many of which cut across the Kiwadoi's chest and shoulders leaving several bloody cuts.

Zorlo landed smiling at the sight of what the Kiwadoi had done to himself. Nekatsuki, on the other hand, merely snarled at the fencer. "So, I see you enjoyed my attacks a bit too much. What was that about me not hurting you if it tried? It seems I've hurt you without trying very hard at all."

Nekatsuki's teeth parted slightly as he bared them in anger, electricity visible jumping across his teeth while crackling loudly. The anger display of a Blue Dragon. "I...will enjoy breaking your bones, Human!" He said as he shot toward the Fencer, his hands fisted and electricity crackling across his teeth.
