OoC: You didn't lose to Zorlo, your power ran out.

OoC: How many times do I have to tell you. To 'nikudemon' it was a lost no matter why. Sorry just wanted everyone to know that since Zorolo was so nice to point it out. Next person to point something out is always welcome to PM or AIM me but don't do it in the middle of the quest. No, don't think about writing sorry as a OoC Zorolo. Now back to the quest and have fun reading/writing.

Bic:

More arrows, this time normal ones, flew at the two Nekos and were blocked by a Wall Shield. Haineko was already planning. "O Lord, Mask of flesh and bone, all creation, flutter of wings, ye who bears the name of Man, Truth and temperance, Upon this sinless wall of dreams unleash but slightly the wrath of your claws!" A blue fireball appeared in her right hand and a slightly evil smile crossed her as the fireball grew to the size of a basketball. As soon as the next volley of arrows hit the shield she dashed out and pointed her arm toward the tree the archers were in. "Hadou 33! Sokatsui!" she yelled as her fireball shot into the tree and exploded, sending several flaming archers everywhere. More arrows came from another tree and were blocked as well.

"Jeez. Just how many are there?" Tsukineko asked as he covered his claws, hands, and gauntlets in rock. A few poachers were trying to approach Derrel more carefully.

"Too many! Hadou 33! Sokatsui!" Another tree exploded in flames and flaming archers hit the ground. The arrows stopped coming.

"Good! Now to help Derrel," Tsukineko yelled as Haineko pulled out her bow. The poachers stopped and turned on Tsukineko while the ones holding Derrel fell to the ground, arrows in their throats. With a roar, he shook of the chains and drew his longsword. It didn't take a genius to see the Dinofos wasn't amused. The few remaining poachers didn't look to confident anymore as a few looked all, but ready to run. "Three seconds to leave. One..." The poachers didn't waste time. Most were gone by 'one'.

"Don't you think it would have been safer to kill them all?" the priestess asked as she put her bow back on her left shoulder. Derrel seemed to agree.

"I don't like to kill. It would have been more work for you two," the scarred Neko replied. "I prefer to defend with my shields like I just was."

"Tch. Fine. Lets go back to the house. I have stuff I need to do," Haineko replied and walked back toward the front instead of the library. "I'll be in my room if you want me!"

"And I'm heading back to the library. I found something interesting about my own shield I must continue learning." Tsukineko walked off and with a wave back to Derrel, he jumped down into the cellar.

"After what just happened they can just walk off like nothing dangerous happened? Must come from being cats," Derrel said to himself and turned back toward the trees.

OoC: Well, I took forever because I'm well aware that I suck. >> I didn't do much except have a whole lot of boring dialogue. That's just how awesomely I suck. =)

BiC:

“Do you mind if I call you Mr. Green?” Gloria said suddenly appearing in front of Zorlo.

“Huh? Uh… Y-” Zorlo began. Before he could answer, Celia interrupted him.

“Yes. You may call him Mr. Green.” Celia said with as straight of a face as she could muster. “I call him that all the time.”

“Really? If YOU do it, then I’ll do it too!” Gloria said brightly. “So, Mr. Green, why are we wandering around? I thought you knew where what’s his name is.”

They had entered the city early in the morning and had been walking around for at least an hour. Everyone was beginning to get agitated, including Sakuraneko, who would end up killing Zorlo if her brother wasn’t in the city. The fog was beginning to lift, but visibility was still low and the group of four was forced to travel near each other.

Celia was trying her hardest to ignore the hovering pixie/fairy, but it was all in vain since Gloria was forced to stand beside Celia due to the thick fog. Gloria’s voice feeling like a knife was entering through the demon girl’s ears. “Hopefully I won’t go deaf… She seems more annoying as each second passes”

“I do know where what’s his na-… I mean, I do know where Tsukineko is,” Zorlo said trying to look as confident as possible.

“Well, then, are we there yet?” Gloria said sounding like a little kid in the back seat asking if they were almost there every other minute.

“Not yet, but if we were there, we couldn’t go barging in this early in the morning, everyone’s asleep,” He replied.

“That idiot is just buying himself some time,” Celia thought, rolling her eyes.

“If it means finding my brother, I’d say we could easily barge in. The sooner we finish this, the lower the chance of me killing you,” Sakura glared at Zorlo and he gave her a weak smile.

“Don’t worry, we’ll find him soon enough.” The smile he gave seemed like one stating, “Heh… Please don’t kill me.”

“Let me know if you need help on the killing him part.” Celia said glaring at Zorlo as well.

“It seems a lot of people want to kill Mr. Green!” Gloria said cheerfully. “Is trying to kill him fun?”

“Very.” Celia said plainly.

“Maybe I should try someday…” Gloria said starting to trail off.

“It’s not THAT fun!” Zorlo said obviously trying to avoid having another person attempting to kill him.

“Stop being modest,” Celia said looking at him with an emotionless face. She was certainly enjoying this despite trying to hide her glee.

“Yeah, stop being modest! I bet you’d be loads of fun to kill!” The pixie exclaimed, mimicking Celia.

“Heh… Now I’ve convinced one more person to want to kill him. Eventually there will be a club dedicated to killing him...” Celia thought, wanting to sneer. “Well, anyway, let’s go find that brother of hers, I’m tired of wandering around listening to this pixie complain.”

“Hey! That’s not nice!” Gloria said frowning at Celia.

“When did I ever say I would be nice?” Celia asked innocently. “Seriously though, I don’t give a damn.”

“Hmph. Fine then, see what I care!” Gloria turned away, giving Celia her back.

Celia breathed a sigh of relief and turned to see Zorlo was panicking a bit. “That’s what you get, ‘Mr. Green’.” She whispered. She quickened her paced slightly leaving Zorlo panicking by himself.

Ooc: Yay, Ricku's back! I missed you. I thought everyone was supposed to meet each other in this post or something. I'm running out of stuff to put, since Neko ended the fight too quickly.

BiC: He didn't feel like going back inside, nor did he want to be outside alone. Derrel was antsy about the recent attack, but the other two were nonchalont to say the least. Watching Nikudemon train was an option, but the Dino had already seen him fight...first hand. Tsuki and Hai seemed a little too complacent, so he decided to play a trick. Derrel took off all his armor, weapons, and ammo. He was now entering stalk mode.

He stealthaly crept into the building through the back, and soon found Haineko roaming the hall. Now was the time for a little payback for the knife throwing thing. He crawled into a nitch, as Hai walked towards him. There was noair caying scent, and she probably expected nothing. He leaped out in front of her, roaring at the top of his lungs as he ran past. Her eyes bulged, but she didn't scream.

He ran for the kitchen, as it was a large room with more to hide behind. He went behind a counter, and peeked over as she entered the room. "I am so mean." He thought as Hai looked on in puzzlement. "Does she not recognize me without my suit? This is even more entertaining than I had hoped." The Dino thought as his victim tried to understand the situation. Confusion soon turned to anger just before Tsuki came into the room.

"Is that Derrel?" Hai asked Tsuki.

"I think so. Yes."

"That's what I thought." She said before turning to Derrel. "You are dead."

"You throw knives like a blind Human girl." Derrel said, referencing to a previous battle.

"Deader than dead." She replied.

“Now, Nikudemon listen to the last lesson I have to teach you.”

The young swordsman looked at the old man puzzle at what was just said. “What do you mean last lesson?”

“Well, the truth is… That are sword style isn’t taught until you master it. If you every teacher someone this deathly sword style that pendent and your key to unlocking your inner demon power… Is needed to live.”

The swordsman stepped forward and looked the old man right in the eye’s “What are you talking about? You haven’t taught me everything you know yet.”

“Oh, Young Nikudemon I can’t teach anything else. To teach you more then what I have would kill you and me.”

“WHAT!”

“You’ve been hearing voices right? Also most likely seeing the past in your dream.”

“Yeah, so, what does that have to do with anything?”

“The power in the pendent is now taking over your learning. I don’t know what will happen to you Nikudemon because I’ve never see the pendent with more then one Powerful Demon lock in it.”

The samurai step up to the old man face holding the pendent. “What is this pendent anyway you’ve never told me? How did I get two powerful Demons? What did you have me change my clothes? Why are you talking in riddles?”

“I can’t answer those question but you don’t have to worry about that female Neko as much now. I clothes that I gave you stop fire from hitting you.”

The warrior stepped back and looked at his red clothes he was wearing. “So fire can’t touch me anymore?”

“Yes and no. To have the shield to come up you need have you demon powers fully unlock. Now, because you have two powerful demons sleeping in your pendent I can’t say if it well work but I looks nice on you.”

“How do you know that I have two Demons and how do you know they’re powerful?”

“You sword and pendent tells the tale. They’ve been fighting for sometime now hidden from all to see who wins. Anyway it’s time for you to go, more guest will come after you.” The old man looked up and seen the swordsman friend walking out the house. “Now go already!”

“Fine old man you want me out of you house so soon we’ll leave!” The wonder turned and walked away, only stop to grab the males Neko arm.

“Niku let me go! What are you pulling me?”

Swordsman let go after entering the forest. “There’s a female Neko behind me that still wants to kill me remember. I don’t want to give her a chance to find me a lone. So Dino did you find anything about the Demon.”

“Yes.”

“Good tell us when we find Zorlo.”

The swordsman the two Neko and the Dinofos had been walking in silent for a day when female Neko spoke. “Where are we going human? I’m getting tired of walking.”

“I’m going to Zorlo master’s house. He told me where it was once before.”

“Niku, do you really believe that Zorlo will be there?” the male Neko asked.

“I don’t know but he told me if I need him to met him there.”

A man the look much like a soldier came up to the group. “I’m sorry sir but did I hear that thing right?”

“I’m sorry but what thing are you talking about and why did you hear?”

“That cat human mix thing he called you Niku. Could you be Nikudemon the wondering town hero?”

“Yes I’m Nikudemon and I would like it if you don’t call me friend a thing.”

“I’m sorry but I don’t know what to call his race.”

“His a Neko. Now, what do you want soldier?”

“This town and its people are dieing fast because of a person called Sahhem.”

“Sahhem…” The wonder repeated like it was a name he knew his whole life. “I remember hearing of that man but he’s the ruler of Yuhamde city.”

“Yes. You are right and that city over there is Yuhamde. One more thing I heard that a green tree like male fencer, a female pixie, a female cat human, and a female Demon broke into the city.”

Zorlo! What are you doing there? The swordsman turn to the male Neko and both looked at each then looked at the city. The wind blew; the swordsman and Neko took off leaving the other two behind.

Nikudemon and Tsukineko ran through the city when they spot the fencer. The Neko stop but the swordsman continued after the fencer. The wonder grabbed the fencer right before the big sword Neko grabbed him. The swordsman slammed him into the wall and then threw him on the ground. The male Neko walked up and the dinofos and the other female Neko finally find the other two. Everyone looked as Nikudemon started to pullout his sword. “Its time for me to win the fight we had Zorlo. Now die!”

“I can’t let you kill him yet!” the big sword female yelled pulling her sword for her back.

“Watch out Nikudemon!” Zorlo and Tsukineko yelled.

The swordsman unsheathed his sword and blocked the big sword before it hit him. His eye’s open wide and show something different about them. The wonder left eye became white smoke and his right eye black night. The Neko looked shocked, as the sword was able to hold his own for so long.

Then the snake on his hilt move to the middle of his blade. Everyone watched the power of the young swordsman hold his ground to the female Neko. Then the pendent floated up and light coved the pendent but only three out of all the them standing around could see what was really going on.

OoC: Ok, that was fun. Zorolo you can post next if you think you can make a post about what's happening but don't end Nikudemon and Sakurneko standoff. If you don't then Neko knows what to do next. Know I will like to tell you all that you can have any body attack you in this city because they don't like guest. If you need to know more about what's going on in this city just ask me or Zorlo but what ever you write is ok just don't have us meet Sahhem yet that's all want not to happen. Mostly saying this because of what Neko did.

Sakuraneko and Tsukineko both stood in shock as to what was happening to Nikudemon's body. In thanks to their special eyes, they could see powerful waves of energy pouring not only off Nikudemon, but off his sword and pendent as well. Light and dark energy radiated from his as the snake slid up him blade. From the snake, a new energy infused invisibly into the blade and strenghtened it farther. Tsukiyomi's runes began to glow silently in response to Nikudemon's power, shielding Sakuraneko and Tsukiyomi from the swordsman's force. "Unreal...This isn't the kind of power a human carries. Just what happened to him since the pyramid?" Her sword was heavy enough to crator floors and destroy walls. She was able move and swing Tsukiyomi almost perfectly and even knew it was possible to change the Tsukiyomi. Yet, she couldn't overwhelm the human that stood before her.

"He's....not normal. Not anymore. I've never seen this before," Tsukineko replied as he carefully walked up near Nikudemon. The power surrounding Nikudemon was so strong Tsukineko was able to get closer then three feet before pain exploded through his left eye and left half of his face. Sakuraneko, on the other hand, was gritting her teeth so hard it was a wonder they weren't cracking and breaking. Soon after clashing swords, her right eye and the right side of her face was aflame with pain. The vision in the two's red eye was fading rapidly from the sheer overload of energy Nikudemon was now putting out and their proximity made it worse. "What is that?!"

"I can't tell...Wings?" Sakuraneko responded, obviously in pain as well. They managed to catch the outline of wings on Nikudemon's back before their magical vision and red eye went blind, leaving them with only half of their normal vision. "I...I can't see out of my right eye...," Sakuraneko murmured surprised. Never had she heard of something overloading Her family's vision before. The right side of her face lost all feeling but pain as the pain spread down her shoulder. Tsukineko was in a similar state with the left side of his face and shoulder.

"What are you two talking about? Do you know what's happening to Nikudemon?!" Haineko approached Tsukineko from behind while watching. "This human couldn't over power Derrel, and yet he can block such an attack? He collapsed after stopping arrows and yet he holds back that massive blade with ease? I wish you'd make up your mind, Human! Are you weak, or strong? Pick one!" Tsukineko and Sakuraneko looked at Haineko for a moment. Not an easy task since she was standing in their new blind spot, but they manged before turning back to Nikudemon. In their red eyes, black stars were beginning to form around their pupils while pain shot through their eyes anew. Tears were running from their "blind" eyes as sweat ran down their faces.

"Don't know what going on. He's much stronger then before," Sakuraneko replied as she continued to match Nikudemon's power. Tsukiyomi's runes were glowing brighter.

"I know he has a power within him, but nothing like this," Tsukineko picked up soon after as he quite literally turned a blind eye to Haineko. Nikudemon was holding back the Tsukiyomi with just one hand. The siblings felt as though knives had stabbed them in their red eyes and was being twisted. The stars around their pupil were increasing to three now and getting bigger as they moved to allow a fourth to fit.

Almost as if Nikudemon heard him, he began pushing Tsukiyomi back...with just his aura of power. Tsukiyomi's runes flared brightly to life as Sakuraneko was pushed across the ground, unable to stop herself from sliding. Suddenly, he swung downward, knocking the massive blade aside and swinging back as if to strike her. Severly off balance, she managed barely to bring Tsukiyomi back to defend before his power hit her, throwing her back and knocking Tsukiyomi from her hands. She landed on her feet and slid back a foot or two while her blade hit the ground near her point first and sunk in halfway. Nikudemon stood looking at her with no recognition before dropping to his knees. The power he showed died down to normal as his eyes changed back normal and closed. He was unconscious before he hit the ground.

"Okay!! What the hell is going on here!?" Haineko finally shouted. Tsukineko and Sakuraneko looked at her before looking back at the unconscious warrior. Their vision was slowly returning to normal while the black stars disappeared from their red eye. Neither one was truly willing to answer the priestess' question. "Well?! Are you two going to tell me or not?!" Their answer was to point at Nikudemon. The answer lay in him.

"Hard to believe," Zorlo commented as he moved towards the now unconscious swordsman. "He's so much stronger the before, but that wasn't his power. Well, I don't think it was anyway." The fencer looked at the two red eyed Nekos, both in great pain. "Master once told me that the red eye of the Neko can sense magical disturbances, so what is it you saw?" The green haired man asked. The two Nekos did no answer; they were still in far too much pain from the surge of energy in the pendant, sword and vessel Nikudemon.

"Bah!" Celia protested. "How can you tell me that this feeble human held you off when he could barely fight on a level even close to mine? Pathetic!" She mocked Sakura in a snide tone.

"Wow, I don't know what’s going on, but it is awesome," Gloria commented with a huge smile. The whole group looked upon her in awe at the shear stupidity of what she had just said.

That confirms it, the fencer told himself. Four of the eight people here want me dead now, maybe five, that ash colored neko doesn't come off as all that friendly. Well, this really makes a person think about what they are going to do with themselves when almost everyone you travel with wants you dead. Zorlo moved over and slid his arm under Nikudemon and lifted him upon the fencer's left shoulder, carrying the unconscious warrior. "We can't stay here, there are soldiers looking for us, so we need to find a place to hide now," the fencer commanded in a powerful tone, awaiting the response of the others.

The great evil stepped foot into the library without as much as a word or sound. The great dark energy flowing about him was more unstable then before. Zorlo was close, and the time for the master of darkness to end this feud with his good side was drawing near, there existed only one more thing that needed to be done first. So, where is this book we are looking for, Dark Zorlo commented as the twin voiced specter looked about the demon library in silence.

What we seek is in here, and we shall find it in time. The power to opening a gate to hell is what we are looking for, and such luck is upon us that the demon library chose this wretched city to appear in, Aizi told the dark human, merely annoying him more.

The dark one moved throughout the halls of the library, scanning rows of books from under his dark hood, ever in search of the book that would assist him. Running his left hand along a row of books, a massive amount of dust moved flew from the ancient shelves of the library. After a few minutes, something caught the dark one's eyes, something that was so inconspicuous that one would have not noticed it if they were not looking for it. A dark hand gripped a very plain looking book and removed it from the shelf, carrying towards a desk.

Here we are! Aizi spoke in a very maniacal, gleeful tone.

This rag is going to somehow get us into hell. I don't even think this thing is a book, Dark Zorlo spoke out in protest, looking at the book.

Of course, and now, to see what it entails. The two souled being stood silently, reading the book for several moments before dropping it on the table and leaving the library, never having said anything. The massive wooden doors slammed behind him as he left, shaking the library and causing huge amounts of dust to be displaced. He had found the secret of returning to hell.

"We should move quickly to a defensable position. Put Nikudemon onto my back, and let's move for a vacant building." Derrel said after introductions. As Zorlo got Niku onto his back he thought "Man, what did that old man do to Niku to make him so strong? What would I have to do to get that kind of training?"

"Why are we following the lizard?" Celia asked.

"He's not a lizad, he's a Dinofos. I know this because we met once." Gloria said.

"He's a friend of yous? I hate him already."

"What are you doing here, Gloria?" Derrel asked.

I'm in the Alliance of Tasogare with these guys!" She said exitedly.

"Not the kind of people I'd think you should hang around, but then I'm don't care what you do that much." Derrel said. "Hey Zorlo, you seem a little nervous around your teammates."

"They actually want to kill me. Hopefully they won't."

"What have I gotten myself into?"

They found a shack on the border of town, where they would decide where to go next. Nikudemon woke shortly, and the Nekos were giving him a look. Derrel knew they could sense energy, and he his instincts were telling him something was up.

"Alright. I'll give you plus marks for your adequate idea of not being out in the open, and not being Human." Celia said, adding a sneer to the word Human. "But don't push your luck."

"If you want to settle haierchy issues, I'm all for it. I feel like I'm a bit in over my head to back out or go alone, so figuring out where I stand here might be a good idea." Derrel said. A scuffle might attract attention, but some things should always be settled as soon as possible.

Nikudemon sat up from his long sleep. He looked around and the first then he saw was three Neko's looking at him with intensely. He was afraid to ask why he was been looked at in the way he was. Soon he seen the young fencer walked by. "Zorlo what are you doing here?"

"Don't change the subject!" Haineko snapped at the swordsman.

"What subject? You guy are acting really... Well your acting different. So Zorlo why are you here?"

"We are not the one hold back big heavy sword but then at the same time can't push back Derrel!" the Priestess Neko snapped again.

"What! What are, you, taking... Oh, no." The swordsman put his head down. "Did anyone get hurt Zorlo."

"No. We were lucky that Sakurneko was able to stop you. I was looking for Tsukineko in that town I heard he was there. I'm happy I was able to find him."

"Oh I see so Tsukineko how strong was the power? I remember you are able to see magic. Wait, Sakurneko your here why?"

Nikudemon looked up to see Sakurneko all over Tsukineko but Haineko still seem angry. The sword just looked away as he looked back at Zorlo. "So what's wrong with this town Zorlo? I know you didn't think you would find Tsukineko here."

"Hey, tell what the hell happen back there!"

"Yes I think we all would like to know that."

"I well but we have to get to and safer place then these." Then the whole group heard noise coming from out side. "The Nekos would have notice them if they were not trying to find out about me. Derrel would have notice it if he wasn’t fighting with Celia. We must stop fight until we get out of the city. Zorlo you know that my great at planning when I want to be so don't look so shock. I think everyone in this town is dead so fight them to kill quickly. There is a gravesite North of here. I'll take the front, Derrel and Haineko should take the back because of their skill." The swordsman looked around at everybody. "Well does anybody else have a better plan?"

The fencer looked at Niku and nodded. "Sounds like a plan to me! This place is void of all living things besides those soldiers, so I guess killing them is a good idea. We should head to the town's center, there we shall find the fastest way out of this hell hole. The center of town is right near the northern exit, that will take us where you want to go Niku." The fencer drew his two swords and readied to burst through the door. The fencer stepped back and kicked the door out and ran outside, quickly looking around for anything that may try to attack them. The others followed closely behind him, filing out the door one at a time.

"Wait!" Celia suddenly said in an annoyed tone. "Why are we listening to you?!"

"Because, I know where we are heading, just trust me, okay!" She sighed as the group began to march through the street, silently. The fencer spun his short sword in the palm of his hand, looking about for anything that seemed suspicious or out of place, but couldn't find anything immediately that alerted him. The group all kept a strict look out, waiting to see if anything would come to capture them. "I get a bad feeling about this, but I can't quite place it," the fencer told the group as he looked about as they entered into the town center.

The eight warriors marched into the center and looked at the emptiness of the bazaar and the beauty of the fountain. The group all looked for something, anything that could be seen as problematic to them. The sudden sound of heavy, metal marching footsteps. Without warning, from the east, west and south came a large number of the heavily armored soldiers of the town. They had to have numbered at least three hundred or so, all humans in brilliant, sky blue armor. From the north, though, came the leader, a man with the sun to his back, so it was hard to see what he looked like. But to his sides, he had two very large guards, and it seemed as if he was here for a reason.

OoC: Sorry for it being lame/short/takingforever/etc... But meh, you should all know by now that I procrastinate.

BiC:

The figure of soldier leader seemed gargantuan. His shadow coated the group like a large cool blanket of darkness. His voice boomed through the town like a thousand grinding stones. "Intruders. You've committed many felonies. Come with us without a fight or you shall suffer more severe consequences than you already face."

The man sounded official and definitely like he meant business, but Celia was not impressed in the least. "This guy is an idiot," She declared plainly, "Does he really think we're so dumb as to turn ourselves in? Well... Most of us."

“Come now, we won’t issue another warning. Next we’ll use brute force!” He threatened gruffly.

It seemed now as though a fight was inevitable, seeing as none of them would give into the owner of the deep commanding voice. However, as the owner of the voice stepped closer to them, his large thudding feet, and his large muscular arms came into view. His fists were the size of melons; his neck was thick and bulging with veins. His head was completely bare of hair from what they could see. He wore large armored plates across his chest and an imposing helmet with large barring fangs. But worst of all, his empty white eyes stared lifelessly at them, with no remorse, with no emotion.


“You’ve had your chance. Move out!” He yelled at his soldiers and swung his arm down with a great force. He quickly swung his arm back to the hilt of his sword and unsheathed it. A look quite unfit for a commanding officer overcame him. His face was happy almost to the point of malevolent. The officers hands twitched with excitement and he called out a deep battle cry before charging at the group.

“EEP!” Gloria screamed and jumped onto Celia. The look on Celia’s face must’ve been priceless to those around her, but to her, it was anything but that.

“Get off… Now.” The demon girl said, glaring at Gloria with murderous eyes. “I guarantee you that if THEY don’t kill you,” She pointed at the approaching soldiers, “I will.”

“Heh… Sorry,” Gloria assumed a childish tone, “I didn't mean to…”

“Oh, go suck up to some one else…” Celia said as she whipped out her staff, “For now, make yourself useful and help.

The warriors all moved out to hack down a pathway toward the northern edge of town. Celia, not caring about her fellow alliance members, moved in to kill some of the worthless foot soldiers. Gloria, on the other hand, was a bit hesitant to kill them just yet, “I better see what everyone else does so I don’t screw up…”

After seeing everyone was about at ruthless as the other, Gloria decided to cut loose. “Woo hoo!” She said unleashing a gust of wind with her wings, knocking several soldiers down, “Take that, losers!”

“I don’t think I’ll ever understand her feeble mind…” Celia muttered to herself, continuing to fight the growing number of soldiers. It felt as though it was an endless sea of bodies marching toward them.

One thing Derrel disliked about Human's, was their habit of thinking themselves intimidating. One Human faced Derrel, wielding two sabers, and growling. So Derrel opened his mouth, and charged while roaring. Blasting fire breath to alarm him, Derrel went for his throat. He had more impotant targets to hunt down without these annoying Humans. The big one, however, as skilled. Haineko lanched a firey attack, but he dodged and swung. She kept her distance.

Tsukineko seemed to be summoning ice onto his claws, making them slice into armor ith cold precision. Derrel kept moving around, trying to attack from the sides, but the foces that outnumbeed them tried had to bunch them together. He threw a few bombs into the midst, and grabbed his bow.

Derrel, Haineko, and Gloria attacked from the center of the group hile the others kept the enemy at bay. Soon, the commander started to withdraw, and the rest maintained a good distance. The group began moving, but they were sure to be followed.

As the group moved toward the graveyard, Tsukineko, Sakuraneko, and Haineko were in the rear to keep watch and guard. Tsukineko moved behind to protect the others with his shields if need be. Haineko and Sakuraneko took turned disappearing into the forest to take out any advance scouts that tried to follow is as the keep their exact position secret. During one of the times Haineko came back, Tsukineko fell in step next to her. "During the battle, I saw you cast some interesting spells. I don't remember seeing them before."

Haineko mearly smiled back. "Like them? I just got them last night. My first two priestess arts. Ascetic's Flame and Kurenai." She stepped closer and smiled wider. "You know, you could wield power like this if you become a Mage warrior of Macha. All you must do is pledge yourself to a Priestess or Macha herself at one of the temples and you can learn. It's not just magic, but weaponry and fighting techniques as well."

"I'll think on that, Haineko. Thank you," he replied, this time not seeming to just brush it aside. Before Haineko could say more, Sakuraneko appeared and ran up.

"Haineko, Be careful. They're hidding guards around the scouts now." She look a bit worse for wear and blood was drying on her Dragon scale shirt. She also was out of breath from Tsukiyomi.

"I still can't get used to the fact I have a sister."

"I know the feeling. Now that you're here, I'm not sure of what to say to you, Tsukineko."

"Could you two wait until later to get all brother and sistery on each other?" Haineko said and walked off to search. As much as she'd been a bit rude, she was right. Emotions like that could wait untin they were safe. Together, they walked behind the group, indulging in small talk until Haineko would return.
