Sword, blood, and claws(Nikuvillain)

(OoC:Ok Nikuvillain. This is the battle thread we discussed. Lets do this.)

Bic: It was week since me and Nikudemon had sent Zorlo and Celia off to figure out what was on the treasure map those two demons were carrying. We have been traveling for miles without much of anything more exciting than hunting for food to keep Nikudemon from collapsing. Even though I didn't like to fight, I knew this would be a good time train. "Hey Nikudemon. What do say to a little training while we have all this free time and nothing that wants to kill us?" I asked him.

"You wish to fight? I thought you said that you disliked fighting and violence in general." he replied as he turned to look at me with suprise.

"I don't like fighting, but I know that if I truly want to live long against those I'm forced to fight I'll need to be stronger." I said to him, resting my left hand on my short sword. "And the only way to get stronger is to train and to fight. So will you help me to get stronger, Nikudemon? Will seriously fight me?" I said as I unsheathed my short sword and reversed my grip a defensive hold and readied my claws. I used the winds blowing through the field to element my claws instead of drawing from necklace. By the look on his face I could tell he was wondering what element my claws had taken now.

"Yes Tsukineko. I'll fight you seriously." He replied as he readied himself for battle. "I only want to ask you two questions before we start. First, will you truly fight as if to the death. Second, why haven't you readied your claws with an element?" He spoke to me wanting a reply.

"Yes I will fight as if to the death and I have enhanced my claws with an element. Here, I'll show you!" I yelled as I surged forward from my position and aimed a claw slash at his throat just barely missing as he stepped back in avoidance. He countered with his normal quick attack just barely cutting me across the cheek as I turned my head to keep from being blinded by the strike. As the katana past out of the way I quickly aimed an upward slash at Nikudemon, cutting the tin shirt he was wearing for armor open. Thinking of his tin shirt did bring one question to my mind. "Nikudemon." I spoke as I jumped back to a safe distance. "Why do you wear something so weak as armor?"

The wind started to pick up and started to blow the swordsmen shirt. “ I don’t need this shirt to get in my way so I’ll just take it off!” Nikudemon shout at Tsukineko . “And to answer your question I could not get stronger light weight armor!” The swordsmen said. Man this is going to be a hard fight to win but it’s training I must take it serious. “Ok Tsukineko I’m not going to hold back now!” Shouting again and started to run and Tsukineko.

“Yeah just like I want it come at me and never hold back!” Tsukineko shouted back ran forward. They both clashed in the middle of the field. They jump back and ran forward again Nikudemon went for a side slash and Tsukineko went of a vertical upward slash but the swordsmen sword was longer and hit the neko in the leg make a deep cut. The neko came run with his short sword but the swordsmen was far to skill with his sword and block all the neko straight on attack. Then the neko ran in the back of him and went to attack him and he hit the swordsmen twice with his swords. Then went to attack the swordsmen but the swordsmen men went a did a 360 turn but the neko jump back.

“So I well enjoy this after all,” the swordsmen said.

I could now see that a head on battle would be more dangerous then previously thought. Nikudemon could slash much faster than originally thought. I needed a strategy and got an idea just as Nikudemon charged toward me. This wouldn't work very long but should give me a chance or two to hurt him. I ran forward to meet his attack with my short sword, jumping as the sword and katana met and kicked off Nikudemon's shoulder to land behind him. As I thought he would, Nikudemon started to spin slash only this time I stopped his spin slash with my Wall shield and slashed him across the back with my wind claws and watched as my claws pulled a large amount of blood for such shallow cuts. I then jumped forward and turned to face Nikudemon as he looked at me with some shock and got back into his usually stance. "What the hell did you just hit me with?" He asked looking at his blood swirl around my claws.

"My wind elemental claws. Lovely, aren't they?" I replied shaking the blood from my claws to render the wind on them invisible again. I knew that trick wouldn't work again but maybe a different trick. I charged forward pulling Electricity from my necklace until my claws were covered in purple electrical bolts of energy. As my sword clashed with his I touched his blade with my claws to shock nikudemon with the electricity and make him step back. When Nikudemon steped back I jumped forward and slashed him across the chest with my claws just as he slashed me across the chest and tossed me back. "At least you were prepared for my attack. I almost ended Zorlo with a combo like that. I'm glad you could see through it." I said examining my newest wound and glad it wasn't very deep.

"Did you think it would work against me? I'm smarter than Zorlo." He replied as he readied himself once more.

"I know you're smarter then Zorlo. My attack was against your reaction time not your brain. You reacted faster." I said. I knew this was going to be one long battle.

I didn’t think he was going to take it this serious. I don’t want to kill him. If I did I would never hear the end of it from Zorlo. Well if it come to me killing him I’ll just have to hind for the rest of my life. Wait what am I think about I can kill him I would never forgive myself. I’ll just have to find some way to disable him. I got and idea I can try and take out his legs. If I do that, yes. “Prepare yourself Tsukineko!”

“What are you talking about have done the most damage so far!” The Neko said. The he ran at the swordsmen went he got up to the swordsmen and try to block the swordsmen sword with his short sword. The swordsmen drop to his knees and slash him right below the knee caps. But he made sure it was not deep enough to make him immobile but to make him have a hard time to walk.

“Now give up now or the next thing to go is your arm. I’m different from Zorlo because I’m trying to disable you not kill you!” The swordsmen sheathed his sword “Now give up! I beg of you to give up!”

Nikudemon effectively just simply cut down my speed. Literally. I stepped back from Nikudemon and whinced as pain run through my legs like wildfire. My knees almost buckled from both pain and injury and I knew I wouldn't be running and jumping anymore this battle.

"No Nikudemon. I won't just stop not until my claws are about to kill you, then I'll stop." I said as I moved toward Nikudemon as fast as possible which wasn't very fast and tried to slash him with my claws as my right knee gave out. I fell short as he stepped forward and slashed down on my arm hitting my Wall shield instead. I couldn't feel my leg now and knew I wasn't getting back up now. I let the lightning drain from my claws and looked at Nikudemon as he stood ready for the next attack and sighed his reach and technique was a little too much I need a stratagy for him. "Okay Nikudemon. You win since I can't move to attack or evade anymore. I give you the battle." I said to him as I sheathed my short sword and retracted my claws. "Think you could help me up? I can't feel my right leg anymore."

"Sure. I'll help." Nikudemon replied as he stepped forward and pulled me to my feet and supported me to a near-by rock. I may have lost this fight, but I learned a stratagy against people with longer reach.
