Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Well this will be my first battle arena RP fight, but I've done this on other sites We are fighting on a rainforesty place with a lake in the middle of everything. GL HF!

BiC: Mizu stirred the water thoughtfully, though bored out of sanity. She had just finished filling a lake, and though the task was grueling (seeing as she had to wait until her urn of water filled every time), she was rather pleased with the results.

"Pleasure is just a pause until the boredom takes it over again," Mizu mumbled to herself. "Isn't that right, mysterious crackling leaves," she said towards the forest. "You've been here, studying me, watching me, am I correct?" she yelled at the tree. A dark figure approached the edge of the forest and stepped onto the plush sand. "That's what I thought," Mizu said at him.

OoC: I think I did that right...I shouldn't start a new paragraph if it's the same person talking, right?s

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Personally I separate dialogue cuz it's easier to read, but I have never seen anyone get in trouble for it so your good. I would like to use Sheridan for this fight, link in sig.

BiC: The mist of the wood circled around him, and engulfed him in the unknown surroundings. The fog only made travelling alone seem stranger. Sheridan didn't mind it though, his always wandering mind overshadowing the mist and filling him with that familiar curiosity. It did trouble Equos however, who began to panick and worry in the seeping confusion. Sheridan patted the horse and told him to calm try and remain calm.

"Surely there wil be a way out eventually, let us find water so we may camp and wait for the mist to fall"

Sheridan followed his sense to find a strange pool that seemed to be growing bigger. He noticed a divine, almost unearthly sort of figure standing by the pool with an urn. Water poured from the urn in a mystic sense as she never seemed to fill it.

Sheridan stayed in the shadows and observed this unique being do her job. The mist seemed to almost dissapear in this place from her presence.

"Pleasure is just a pause until the boredom takes it over again, isn't that right, mysterious crackling leaves?" The beautiful figure seemed to be speaking directly to him. Had he really been so foolish as to blow his cover so quickly? "You've been here, studying me, watching me, am I correct?" she cried towards him.

Sheridan moved out of the wood and into the open clearing, leaving Equos behind on the edge of this place. He had both his sword and shield equiped to his person but not armed. The being rose as if ready to attack. The woad was shocked by this and stepped back a few steps in startlement.

"I never meant you any-" Sheridans comment was stopped short by a whip of water erupting from the pond and smashing itself right into his face. He fell back on himself and began screaming and cursing from fury. "Alright, if that's how you want it!"

The woad drew his weapons and charged her with sword high. He fell on his own attack when a tenticle of water tripped his leg out and he fell on his face. As he pulled himself to his feet again, unharmed but very annoyed, he was shocked to find his opponent transformed into a spirit being. This was foolishness, but the Woad knew to take responsibility for his actions...but he wasn't going down without a fight! This strange new opponent left him in the dark on her strength, but she didn't know what he was cappable of either!

OoC: There, hope this can get good!

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Very well

BiC: Mizu sucked up a ball of water and made it swirl. She then drilled it towards Sheridan, but his survival skills told him to jump out of the way. She pulled the drill of water back to her.

"I see, so you are quite agile...Try, then, dodging this," Mizu said. There were no clouds, but rain fell. They fell like daggers. Sheridan ducked down low with his tower shield over him. The rain darted the shield. When he felt it was over, a puddle of water lay at his feet. He ducked down to get a closer look at the water. Mizu snickered and froze the water at his feet. He yelled and tried to jump, but just lost his balance and fell to the ground with a dull sound. The pressure of his bones bending against the ice cracked it and he broke free. Then Sheridan jumped up onto a nearby tree. Mizu made a wave of water come from the lake and smash into all the trees, smashing Sheridan to the ground. His agility, though, had him up on his feet in no time.

"I see, so this one won't be too easy...Very well," Mizu said. She formed an angelic figure with her water and controlled it to attack Sheridan.

OoC: Also, I won't be able to post until god knows when, sorry.

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: No problem, I have had a lot of stuff to do lately and haven't been able to get on for a while anyway.

BiC: The liquid puppet charged full speed at Sheridan, barely giving him time to evade and strike back. His greatsword plowed straight through the water, but fazed the creature in no way. It curved back around and charged straight through the woad, hitting his entire body with a harsh blow that knocked him back several feet. As he pulled his now stinging body up, the angelic figure turned for another assault, this time met by his shield. The creature burst onto it but curved around it's edges and met the great warrior at his side.

All the while, Mizu circled the lagoon, a blatant stare directed at the warrior. She was watching him, observing his every move as the woad combated her creation. If things went as they were, she would defeat this opponent without any threat. She continued to dance with the angelic figure, making her attacks grow more and more aggresive with every time around.

Despite the stinging pain, however, the attacks that Mizu made had little to no effect on the woad's powerful stamina. This fight with the puppet only gave him more to to think ahead and stall from the real threat: Mizu. As his plan began to take form, he proceeded in making his first move. As the entity spun around for another attack, Sheridan hurled his shield at an angle on the ground. The heavy shield slid across the earth, dampened deeply by the hail of rain she launched earlier, and hit hard right into the shin of the water spirit.

Mizu fell to the ground head-first with a loud thunk. She felt a bruise begin to form on her forehead, and looked up to find the warrior towering over her, his shield retrieved. In her loss of concentration, the puppet fell into no more then another puddle on the ground, laying amidst the damp earth as if it had always been seemingly harmless.

For Mizu, the odds had appeared to have drasticly changed. She had vastly underestimated the power of this woodsmen, a mistake that her now throbbing head would refuse to have her make again.

With a single hand movement, a wave erupted from the moist earth around her and slammed hard into the ever expecting shield of the warrior. the attack did him no harm, but forced him back several feet and gave Mizu much more room for an attack.

He charged her at full speed, sword drawn and swinging around with such speed and strength that several clods of earth were flung into the air from the movements. Mizu panicked as he closed in and desperately attempted to avoid the swinging blade. She backed away as he closed in, trying to keep her balance and a far enough distance from the blade. Whenever he veered close, she would draw some water and push the attack back and whenever he was at a distance, she would try to slow him with a blast of rain.

As this progressed on, Mizu began to realize more and more that his attacks were never aimed directly at her and would always miss by a small amount. He wasn't trying to kill her, or hurt her even.

Suddenly, Sheridan stopped his attacks. Panting a little, but with a large grin on his face, he quietly backed into a large brush of leaves. The now angry spirit quickly followed and prepared for anything, but when she came out on the other side, he was nowhere to be found. Then she realized it.

She was no longer near the lagoon, she was deep in the mist of the forest. It was still moist here, but much of her power had now been lost and she had grown far more irritated. Then she realied another important factor: She did not have her urn with her.

Terrified at the idea of what the barbaric woodsmen would do to her urn, she quickly followed her senses to find the lagoon again. Praying that she could make it there before he did.

OoC: Sorry if I took too much control, just warn me if I am. I think this is getting pretty interesting!

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: No problem, you aren't...There's not much you can do if you don't take control

BiC: Mizu shot through the forest with the grace of a deer. If the urn was damaged in any way, the waters of Earth would cease existance. Fortunately, though, the lake was about 50 yards away. Sheridan was just about to smash the holy urn, completely unaware of the consequences. Before he could though, a snake of water lashed out at him and struck his face. Mizu rushed up and secured the urn safely onto her back.

"You tool! Do you not know the consequences of breaking this urn?" Mizu yelled. A whip of water came out of the urn and lashed across Sheridan's face. Screaming, he clutched his almost useless eyes. Shaking off the pain, he saw a blur of blue. He closed his eyes and braced himself on all sides for a strike. When none came, he squinted. Just a blur. When he focused more, though, he realized what he was seeing; Sheridan was surrounded by Mizu's clones of water, atleast twenty of them.

"I don't like to get mad, but it's too late. You will disturb the waters no more! By Ebb and Flow, I'll make it so!" Mizu screamed. Whips of water came spiraling in on him. Sheridan jumped up to avoid certain death, all the whips splashing into normal water when they hit eachother. The drops of water then turned into needles and darted towards him. He moved his shield out to avoid getting stung, but instead of darting the shield, they moved around it, and instead of stinging Sheridan, they froze and stayed. Sheridan's numbing body landed on the ground, shaking uncontrollably from the freezing rain. Mizu and her clones moved in...

OoC: I hate how small my paragraphs look

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Lol, ummm...I wasn't exactly planning on smashing the urn. More along the lines of...bribing her or something? I don't think he would just smash it...although he might play with it for a while if he got bored which could LEAD to it getting smashed...that’s ok though, Ill go from there.

BiC: Sheridan lay in a pile of freezing mass, surrounded on all sides by the closing clones. Each with a great smile on their faces, showing the arrogant sureness they held of their victory. Even now however, the great warrior refused to give in. Rising to his feet, sword drawn and shivering, he stood ready for anything. Mizu was a little startled at the mortal’s will, but only for a second; her clones closing in on him. Heaving all his almighty strength, the greatsword spun wildly and accurately into all the clones at once. This gave him the time he needed to speed towards Mizu at full speed.

Heaving the blunt end of his sword into her unsuspecting, and utterly shocked, figure, Mizu was sent flying sideways by the woad’s left side, but only for a split second. Ready to release all his rage, the warrior grabbed her ankle as she sped and hurled her with twice that speed straight into the ground. Mud splattered from the collision and bathed them both in a thick brown coat. Sheridan’s face had been completely concealed, aside from his eyes, now fiery and cold with a passion unlike anything Mizu would have expected from him, and a little bit of his beard which now stood frayed and grossly messy.

Just as she thought he had finished, the woad scooped her weakened body up, using his sword as a shovel of sorts, and flung her out away from the water. She crashed hard into the leaves of a great tree that was at the edge of the clearing, and fell onto the wet ground with a hard thud. She had been badly injured and now lay limp against the side of the tree. Her long, watery hair slowly fell back to her side and her skin returned to a tan color.

The fire in Sheridan’s eyes died away, and as it faded, the pain returned and he fell unconscious instantly. He would have fallen to the ground if Equos had not come up and caught him, moving his limp body against a tree. Both warriors lay unmoving against 2 trees on opposite sides of the clearing, unmoving and completely unaware of eachother’s presence. It was many minutes before either of them began to stir.

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Vedivell!

BiC: Mizu came to her senses first, but wished she hadn't. Her body ached all over and she was caked in mud and dirt. Slowly, she created a thin layer of water between the mud and herself, then made the water barrier expand enough to drop the mud in a circle around her. Mizu shook her head painfully, trying to remember what the woad did to her. All she could remember though, was the fierce determination and pure rage of his eyes. Leaning her back against the tree, Mizu put her head back.

"Hm, what an interesting guy," Mizu whispered. He was up too, struggling to even raise his weapon. "By Mystra, by the tides, by ebb, by flow!" Mizu put her sacred urn down and slowly moved the water to her lips. As she drank, she felt some power returning to her. The holy water flowed through her body, though she was still quite injured from the aggressive attack of Sheridan.

"Great, we're seperated from the lake again. I may be in some trouble," Mizu said under her heavy, somewhat painful breathing. From her urn she rose a serpent of water. She made it strike, but the woad was able to heave his weapon onto a collision course with it. The drops of water that followed turned into a two headed serpent and struck again. He was only able to deflect one though, and the other struck his leg. Blood flowed freely from his leg, some getting trapped in the serpent's body. The serpent fell to the ground in a pool of water. It then froze around Sheridan in a circle. Puzzled, the woad clambered painfully up to the bough of a tree.

"I'm in too much pain to concentrate...I need a plan, badly!" Mizu whispered. Sheridan understood, though, that she could not concentrate her hydro-and-criomancy. Quickly, he formulated an attack move.

OoC: SOrry iF ItS kIndA sHOrt but ive got important things to do <_<

Tis me birthday

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Sorry to keep you waiting...Happy birthday by the way!

BiC:Sheridan waited atop the great tree, his entire body aching from the harsh beating of the water. Below him, the water spirit watched his every movement, obviously also in pain, and occasionaly drew herself to launch a ball of water or whip at the tree; none of the tactics drawing close however.

"Well...at least im not hot!" Sheridan thought to himself humorously, drenched with water.

"Come down and fight me!" Mizu panted up at him.

"You couldn't fight if I did!" Sheridan painfully laughed back at her.

Mizu didn't say anything back, she hated the idea of being too weak to fight.

"Now lets just calm down for a minute and try to talk!" Sheridan said, trying to start a conversation with the spirit.

"Talk? Im trying to kill you! Shut up and come down here! Talking hurts anyway!" Mizu was obviously very angry at this point and was thinking about smashing the big man's head in.

"Well, if your going to kill me, I think you need a bit more le-way li'l lass!" he cackled, stopping short to cough a bit. "By Bridget! I think this tree is giving me a rash!"

The man was startling her more and more by the second. He seemed to have no sense of manners or civility what-so-ever. She had no urge to talk to him and had half a mind to give up and go back to her work. So...she did.

It continued like this for a good hour or so. The woad in the tree complaining and rambling with random animals scurring below him, and she went back to filling the water in her urn. Planning to shut him up as soon as she got the energy back. After a while though, his rambling grew silent and the tree stopped rustling. She thought about it for a second, and quickly walked towards it and looked up to see just why he had gone silent. The woad was nowhere to be found.

Quickly panicking and looking around to see where he might of gone, she suddenly panicked even more at the site she laid her eyes upon. There he was, standing proud and looking right at her, but in his hands was the urn once again.

"Now, you gonna tell me what this is now or what?"

OoC: Meh, I figured the fighting should take a break for a bit, let them regain some strength.

Re: Mystra's Blessing does not come cheap(1v1, anyone)

OoC: Why thank you! :-/
We're still enemies for now though >_>

BiC: Sheridan turned the urn around, inspecting the ancient relic.

"You...Give that back, now, or I'll-"

"Tell me what it is first," Sheridan interrupted. Mizu let out a growl of frustration. How she hated people like him. So dim, unable to understand...

"If you actually read the runes," Mizu began, thinking to herself that he probably couldn't understand runic text, and chuckling slightly, "they say, not word for word, that if the urn is destroyed in any manner, all existant liquids would completely erase from existance. All liquids in the universe, that is. It was made by my ancestors, so old that I do not even know them. Now if you'll hand it over, we can walk seperate paths," Mizu said. 'This tool...Not only will I kill him, but I will stab him through six hundred times!! Mizu thought to herself, growing a wryful smile. That smile is what told Sheridan she was lying. He jumped back, but instead of landing on a tree bough, he missed completely and landed flat on his back. The urn spun 'round and 'round until Mizu caught it in her graceful hands. Sheridan clambered to his feet, almost falling again.

"Damn it!" Sheridan yelled. He clutched his arm, which a pinecone was sticking out of. Sheridan forced it out and threw it on the ground. He then spun to Mizu, who was trying desperately to cleanse her wounds. They both stood, once more armed for combat, and both already a bit battle weary.

OoC: It wasn't the greatest post..But here!
