A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: Hey this is my first Battle in the Battle Arena, but I think this is going to end up pretty well. Gaurdian Dragon, if your out there, you requested to battle Gerginak, so here it is.
BIC: Gerginak held his head up high to feel the wind. A storm was approaching from the west. His brood probably already endured it the day before. The forest he was traveling through was lush and radiant, like a rainforest. There were frogs croaking, and trees swaying, and various wildlife making noises in the distance. It was now approaching twilight as the sun was setting in the east and the moon was rising in the west. Gerginak and his brood landed on this planet, unsure if there were any enemies. They had made camp on the planet for only 10 days so far, with no disturbances. The only disturbances were the ones made by his own brood, clearing trees to make room for Hives and Hatcheries to spawn some new broodlings. They had just gone through a rough battle with some space pirates on a moon of this planet. Fortunately, they devoured all the space pirates they found, but not without loses of their own. It was earlier this morning that he left his brood to explore on his own, with only the parasites and hide on this back to protect him. "Hmm", He thought. "This planet seems fairly peaceful. There seems to be some wild life my brood can infest, they would make some good additions to my brood." Right as he ended that thought, a lizard jumped out and latched onto his hide. The lizard didn't travel a foot on the hide 'til it became food a host for the parasites. Violent noises came from the imploding creature, and Gerginak gave a screeching roar, "KEEEAAAWWW". A small broodling was created, hardly resembling the lizard that was its host. It jumped from Gerginak’s back and landed on the ground. Suddenly, something rumbled in a nearby bush. "Who goes there?" Gerginak said, shocked to hear something so close. "Where did you come from?" "That is quite a unique ability you have" said the unknown voice. "I have some special tricks of my own. I heard a noise so I searched the forest as fast as possible, only to find you.” Suddenly, the broodling jumped to the bushes, gnashing its fangs at the foe. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: Just so you know, you spelled Guardian wrong.
I will be using Janeen, link in signature. BiC: Why am I here? Where am I? What is this jungle? Is this even my dimension? So many questions. Not enough answers. Perhaps I will find some if I continue further. Janeen thought to herself, walking through a lush jungle. She heard thumping noises, they were coming from the direction she was aiming in. "What is that? It can't be a dragon, could it? I'd better keep an eye out, whatever it is, I don't want it to see me." As she came to a light underbrush, she saw the beastial creature, a lizard had jumped on it. On top of its body was a parasite like creature, it insnared the lizard. After seconds, the lizard was completely changed. "That is quite a unique ability you have" said the unknown voice. "I have some special tricks of my own. I heard a noise so I searched the forest as fast as possible, only to find you." Suddenly, the broodling jumped to the bushes, gnashing its fangs at the foe. "Don't even think about it," she said, pulling her sword, and cutting the infested lizard in two. "Quite an ability indeed." She eyed the large beast, her arms ready to swing her sword at any time, and her mind focused on dashing off with her wings. She was ready for anything this beast was going to do. "What are you here for? And what do you plan to do to this jungle?" she asked. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: o sorry 'bout the name thing, I sort of figured it was wrong
Oh, one more thing, I was hoping you would choose this character cause I liked her the most. but anyway... BIC: Dammit, this is no ordinary humanoid. This calls for a desperate measures. "Before I kill you, what is your name human?" Said Gerginak. "I am Janeen, weilder of Kiagmia and Kiagnai, and I am no human. I am an Argonian." She held her weapons high in the air, revealing the mightiest blade Gerginak had ever seen. Then an amazing shield reflecting the now setting sun. "I see you are an experianced warrior. Lucky you, I am too. I am Gerginak, Zerg Cerebrate, a highly valued general of my race. You appear to be no threat to my brood, but it is my duty to destroy anything that could harm us. Oh, but I won't be killing you alone, no, right this minute I'm calling my most skilled infested warriors from the Hive to hunt you down. The only way to surrender and let me kill you or battle till the death. Your choice." Gerginak held his head in a sort of way as if to ask, "So...?". "You'll be dead by morning." Janeen didn't know what she was getting into when she said that, but she had been mostly victorious in the battles she had fought. "RAOW!!" Gerginak lurched forward faster than expected. He raised his claws up in the air and thrusted them down. Janeen jumped in the air, and spread her magnificent wings, flying to safety. She threw the sword down into Gerginak's back and then immediately called it back. Suddenly "You're faster than I though. " Janeen stayed hovering out of reach. "Argh! I hate flying creatures, I can never reach them. You'll have to come down at some point. Fight me you coward." Gerginak, jumped up, swinging his axelike claws. "Fine, you want me to play tough, feel my wrath." Janeen swooped down on Gerginak and prepared for a rough fight. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: I thought you might.
Oh, and could you try and use my character less please? BiC: I don't know what I am doing, perhaps this is what I need to do, I may not kill him, but I can at least try. If I am to fail, this planet may be at stake. Whether it is mine or not. "I don't quite know what you are talking about by 'Zerg Cerabrate'. But I accept your challenge. Prepare for a rough fight bug!" she shouted, flying at him just before she quickly flapped her wings backwards. Quickly rushing in a backwards movement to evade the beast. Hopefully causing him confusion. She said one word. "Kiagnada!" Her sword started to glow red, as she flew down beside him, she swung it vertically, striking it in the stomach with a flaming blast, and then she flew up and landed on a tree branch. "Come get me behemoth!" she shouted, holding on to the tree. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: Ya sorry 'bout using ur character too much, this time ill focus on mine much more.
BIC: She is too fast. She is just too fast. But she is weak, and one hard blow could kill her and teach her a lesson to never mess with me again. I just hope she can't . "RRAAAHHH" Gerginak had just been blasted by a fiery blast, burning up some underbrush. "HOHA, Is that your best? I am sorry to tell you this, but I felt none of that, just a bit of brief bit of heat. It just so happens my hide is the only Zerg hide resistant to fire." "Come get me behemoth!" she shouted, holding on to the tree. Gerginak screeched and rammed the tree, knocking it right to the ground. Janeen flew to the next tree and to the next and Gerginak just rammed them all, shaking and knocking them all down. He had trapped her in her own game. Yes, if this keeps up, she will get tired and land on the ground, defenseless. At least, I think she will be defenseless. "I will devour you, you little Argonian. HAHA." |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
I can't keep going on like this. Those 'others' may be here soon. But I can't just let him destroy the whole forest either. I also don't have an infinate amount of energy. Hmm? How am I gonna do this? she thought.
As she thought, trees were still breaking under her, and her heart started beating faster. "What a violent creature you are, tisk tisk, you need to be tamed!" she shouted. Janeen, you idiot. What are you doing? she thought. She then flew down beside the creature, and threw her sword into his stomach, and seconds later called it back. "You may be able to smash trees, but I doubt you could catch me," Janeen taunted. She then looked behind herself. Unfortunately, the others had arrived. "Oh no!" OoC: Oops! Smart move. |

|
OOC: O snap, I didn't quite want the "others" to arrive yet, but it shouldn't be much of a threat for your character. The next few posts will be very interesting...
BIC: YES, my brood has come to aid me. But how so soon? Is there something wrong? Yes, yes there is... Gerginak thought he was invincible, but no, his hide had just been pierced. Gerginak stopped in his tracks. " GERR" Gerginak growled, took in a deep breath, and spit up acid, aiming toward the Argonian. "BARGH." He had missed but barely, some of it hit her foot, causing her to panic. Just what I needed to heal this wound, a bit of time. But I may need every parasite in my body to heal the wound. And I am sure a scar will be left. Rapidly, Gerginak's internal parasites all horded to his stomach, where the sword had pierced. It was an amazing sight, a large, black mass had formed on his stomach and it started to steam. Just then, the first underlings had arrived, but went right passed the enemy. Then the larger underlings ran past too, just ignoring both Gerginak and Janeen. "What is this? Where are you going. Come back." No, this can't be. Gerginak looked up from where the brood was rampaging. Some of the fliers in his brood were defending the rest from hundreds of large, maginficent creatures. Gerginak didn't know what to call them. They appeared to have wings, a scaley body and large horns. Some were shooting what appeared to be fire down into the forest, but some of the fire was green, blue, white or even black instead of normal fire. Gerginak knew his fliers wouldn't hold them off for long, so he started to run; whether his advisary was escaping or not, he didn't care. OOC: One word: dragons. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: OOooooh!
BiC: How... What? This can't be right. Why are they here? Unless... Unless I never left. Yes! That has to be it. She noticed the acid slowly melting through her armored boots. Ow! That is starting to get really hot! she thought, kicking off her boot. Now she had one boot and a sock. Stupid acid! The dragons continued to come, there was one problem, they weren't friendly either. They were more rogues. "Darn! What are they doing in the forest? Of all places! I'm going to have to make a break for the town, I can't fight long without a right shoe," she complained. Running for the village, hoping it hadn't been destroyed. I need to get out without being located. But how? I don't know, but I'd better keep out of their way. They look ticked... she thought. Just before running out into the open, in between two dragons locked in a headbutt. She could tell which was a roge and which wasn't. "What are you doing! There are more here child. RUN!" it shouted. "But, but I can't just leave you..." she replied. "Don't worry about me... I have plenty of help!" he shouted again. Just before more dragons flew in behind him, they were friendly, and they started to tear the other apart. "Now go!" he shouted. "Okay, but be careful, there are more than just dragons in this jungle," she replied. "We know, that is why we are here," he answered. Janeen spread her wings, and flew off toward the village, her eyes trying not to look back. She looked back, and saw as the rogue dragons were chasing these 'Zerge' up a mountain. OoC:Okay, how was that? |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: Ok, that was good, kind of the direction i was hoping you would go.
BIC: Ok, think this through. You've been in worse situations. How could I use these dragons to my own advantage. Now that I look more carefully, the dragons are fighting each other, but no matter what, they are still chasing after my brood. I just need to get my brood off that mountain and follow the girl. Then, where ever she is going will be destroyed. She might be getting help. Or she might live by herself on this planet, who knows? Either way, I need to get these dragons off my brood and quickly. "Now go!" he shouted. "Okay, but be careful, there are more than just dragons in this jungle," Janeen replied. "We know, that is why we are here," Gerginak answered. Gerginak ran toward the mountain where his brood was gathering. The dragons were demolishing the trees in their rampage, revealing a beautiful night sky. A bright moon shone resiliantly, along with thousands of stars. Gerginak ran as fast as he could through the now open feild where his brood had trampled. There were smashed bushes, toppled trees, and no native animals in sight. When he reached his brood he realized all his fliers were gone but there were still some acid spitting Hydralisks defending the dwindling brood. Drones started spawning into spore colonies, able to attack the dragons in teh air; it was their last hope. No, I will not have this. We will continue our conquest, even if it means fighting fire with fire. Come follow me, we will follow the girl to where ever she is going. Come now, all of you. The brood immediately responded to the telepathic commands. Gerginak was leading the brood, and following the brood, were the dragons in the night sky, slowly killing each other off. In addition, they were getting closer to Gerginak, realizing, he is the leader of these creatures. I hope this works. OOC: What will happen to our heros? Will fate bring them back together? Will gerginak's plan work or fall through? Will Janeen find safety from Gerginak's brood and the dragons or nothing at all? Find out in these next few posts. LOL |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: I think this battle is going well, lets hope it lasts longer than some others of mine. Well, don't know if they are over yet.
BiC: Janeen continued flying for the village. Her energy starting to get complicatingly low. She couldn't fly any longer, and by the time she had landed on the ground. Her energy was depleted. This can't be good. How am I going to warn the villagers of the rogues, and these... These beasts. she thought, her eyes faded out. Another dream, why? Why am I always having these dreams. They are always of the same thing, but... but I don't know why. Is something about to happen, or am I just dreaming... again... Child... child... are you alright? Have you forgotten your purpose? Have you forgotten what you were doing before your body gave out? Is that you... again? Why are you speaking to me so much... It was not my fault you gave me this power. Were it not for you. I would have been able to be normal. Why can't you just leave me alone!? Child... you don't understand, this... power... as you call it. is a gift. In due time, you will know what to do, but for now. I want you to wake up. Your planet is at stake. Janeen's eyes started to studder, her mind restored to consciousness. She slowly opened her eyes, to see the behemoth standing over her. "Oh crap!" she shouted, rolling backwards. "You again?" OoC: Looks like she foiled his master plan. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC:I'm back, and I don't know what to do with this post. I could end this now. But, I won’t, I’m going to try something out, and see what you do with it.
BIC: What’s this, she has fallen to the ground. My brood is still following me, and still awaiting my orders. What should I do? Kill her? I should, it’s obvious she has no reason to live. She is exhausted and if I don’t kill her, surely these dragons following us will. The beasts started hovering over head, shooting flames at the ground and each other and gnawing and ramming each other. Gerginak then noticed something very intriguing. They weren’t just attacking his brood, they were attacking each other. This is simple, all my brood has to do is get out of sight and the dragons will move on with their own things or kill each other off. Which was easy for the Zerg, each of the underlings were equipped with some sort of limb or limbs that could dig holes lightning fast. The only problem was Gerginak was the largest of his brood and was the only species of Zerg not equipped with such abilities, he would have to find shelter somewhere. Brood burrow now! They responded perfectly to the telepathic commands. In an instant every basic Drone and Broodling, and even the larger acid spitting Hydralisks, were out of sight. They had all burrowed deep into the ground, and for all Gerginak knew, they were continuously digging deeper and deeper just to be sure of their own safety. Just then all the dragons appeared confused. They were still in constant battle with each other, but they still appeared different from the norm. All of a sudden, every creature in the sky directed its attention to Gerginak and the exhausted Janeen. Gerginak grabbed Janeen with his two claws, tossed her on his back, and ran for it. He didn’t know where he was going or when he was going to get there, but he was running. I need to get out of here. I’ll deal with the girl later. For now, I just need to find some shelter from these beasts. As he had those thoughts, Janeen started to bleed on her leg where Gerginak had grabbed her off the ground. The cut was went right through her pants and to the skin but very minute in size. But one, lonesome and hungry parasite, could smell the fresh, easy meat atop his master’s back. OOC: I wonder if this works for you. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
Lying there unconscious, she had no idea what was going on. What now? Where am I? What is going to happen to me. Fear? Do I feel fear? Or am I feeling lost, I don't know. Perhaps I am just dreaming, and I am back at home, lying in bed, but no. There is no such luck for me, I couldn't be back home, I haven't returned home in a long time, I am probably unconscious, lying in some place. That is what usually happens when I start having these dreams, but. How am I speaking to myself? Am I really conscious, but I just don't have the will to awaken? Perhaps I am dead. Floating in endless space. she thought. In an unconscious state of mind.
The behemoth was still running from the dragons. One, he was not going after Janeen to finish her off, he was after her to save her life, but Gerginak didn't seem to see it. Perhaps it was because he doesn't know the nature of some of the dragons on this planet. The parasite that smelled her blood was getting closer to her leg by the minute. Her dragon half, however, would not allow her to be 'infested'. Janeen, wake up now! the female dragon inside shouted through an unconscious state of mind. Janeen, you are alive, you are not dead. Your body is about to be damaged permanently, worse than before. I can't tell you how, but. I can encourage you to awaken, Janeen. I know I have caused you great pain in the past, but. Don't give up. Now, awaken, before you are truly hurt! Janeen's eyes started to studder, as she saw a parasitic creature crawling for her. She rolled off the behemoth, and landed on the ground. The monster, however, had no idea what had happened. Janeen found herself lying on the ground, her leg hurting terribly. She had no idea why, until she noticed wet blood on her pantleg. She pulled up her pantleg, and noticed it was a clean cut, straight through her pants and skin. Noticing the pain it had caused. Her eyes slowly started to wither, and her consciousness. Again, fading out. "Janeen! Are you alright?" the one dragon asked, landing beside her. "What is the matter child?" "Tell... Tell my family... I love them..." she replied. Her eyes then closed. And her heartbeat started to slow. The dragon picked her up, and flew her towards the village, luckily. They had made it just in time. "Get this girl assistance! NOW!" the dragon yelled. He had no time for slackers. The girl was dying, and she needed a nurse. OoC: Okay, the large battle has not begun yet. But it will, in due time. It will. For the next post, just make your character act out. Okay? |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: Ok this is weird, but I'll go on with the show.
Ah! That beast grabbed Janeen. What do I do now? The dragon flew away, holding Janen in its talons. The horde of dragons following it though, was mostly one sided at this point. The dragon who had grabbed Janeen seemed to be a leader and was leading them in the oppisite direction of Gerginak. They completely ignored Gerginak and from the looks of it, didn't care about his brood much either. Well, this is good. I just need to get back to my brood and get out of this planet. Maybe the hives weren't damaged by those flying beasts. If they weren't then my brood can build up some transports quickly and get us out of here, cause this obviously aint the place for us. Too much internal wars and battling, I can't stand it anymore. Gerginak ran back from where he had came initially. The sun was now rising in the west, the moon was setting in the east, and the previous storm, which Gerginak had predicted would come, had completely missed him. He was just hoping the brood, who he had left unattended, had not run into too much trouble. Broodlings, follow me. Luckily, they hadn't. Hastefully, the broodlings erupted from the ground. They too were ready to move on to another planet, cause they weren't ready for this one. At this point, there were only a few hundred left from those that were chased away by the dragons. They were worn, and beaten from a hard day's work. Gerginak lead them back to the Hives, steadily keeping up a quick pace as the tatered and slaughtered brood followed. What if the Hives were untouched? Then that means, maybe, just maybe, the few drones who could have stayed behind, built up the hives. Does that mean, I still have a chance of taking over this planet? Definately. Maybe if I'm given enough time, I can build up a quick, but powerful army and have this planet under my control. Then, at my command it will be destroyed. I'm sorry Janeen that I showed some liking for you back there, but I hate this planet. It's on my bad side. And I really want it out of exsistance. OOC: Just a side note. Those last 3 sentences where Gerginak is talking to himself "I'm sorry Janeen...", is indirectly sent to Janeen, since Gerginak communicates telepathically. But everything else, she doesn't know of or anything. Since he is speaking to himself though, what he said there is his true feelings right now. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: Sorry for taking so long.
BiC: Janeen's leg was bleeding badly, the pincer had gone straight through her thigh. "Get this girl medical assistance. NOW!" a man shouted, taking the girl from the dragon's arm. "Hurry, her leg is losing blood badly. We are going to need a priestess!" The man ran for the church. "Mam! We need your help!" he shouted to her. "What is it?" she asked. Her face in concern. "A girl has been badly wounded, we need your holy powers to heal her..." he answered. "As you wish..." she replied. She then left the church, she went to the medical tent of this, war-stained village. "This... This is Janeen Karoga, the dragon knight!" The priestess exclaimed. As she walked into the tent. Her eyes in aww at the poor girl. "Get me several medical herbs, I am going to need to seal up the wound as well." "Yes mam," a nurse replied, grabbing the herbs for her. "Do you need anything else?" "No, you may go now," she replied. She then spread the herbs out onto the wound, and put her hand over it. She said an Argonian chant, and the wound faded away. Janeen was still unconscious, and when she woke up. She was going to feel the medical herbs consiquences. "Janeen... Janeen... Can you hear me?" her inside dragon asked. "You... Again... Do you ever leave me alone?" she asked. "I can't live my life with a mother inside me... Can't you just leave? I never wanted this to happen, it is all your fault. This gift, this curse... Whatever you want to call it... You caused it. Can't you just go!?" "Janeen... Do you hate me... And what I did to you?" the dragon asked again. "Of course... Of course I hate you... And all of this pain you have caused upon my soul... Why did you have to chose me?" "Janeen, had it not been for me... This world will soon die... The strengths within your body can save it... That being that has invaded, is alien. He is from another planet... Another world. This is not the only world in this reality... He may not know it... But a wise and powerful mind such as mine has the wisdom of the mistake he has made..." "How is this? How is it that I don't know if you do... Tell me? Can you see the future?" "I have once before, why should this be any different? Time has changed for him, ever since he came into your universe... He has gone through a time rift, and he doesn't know it... If he tried to destroy this world now, than his race will cease to exist in the future... I have seen it... His race feeds mostly off the human race... If he destroys this planet now... Than he will be destroyed along with it." "What do you mean... 'Destroys'? Does he plan to destroy this planet!?" "I can not give you all of the details. You are going to have to figure that out for yourself child... I am sorry for what I did to you that night... I can't blame you if you hate me..." the dragon said. "I'm sorry... I lost control back there..." Janeen replied. OoC:If you can't understand who was speaking, just tell me and I'll fix it. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: no problem, its ok. I think we've come to the conclusion that this really isnt our characters battling, but our races/legions battling at this point, right? But, we both can still use our character's point of view.
BIC: Finally, the radiant sun had risen to its zenith. The jungle was at its peak of the day, birds flying overhead, critters scurrying along the forest floor, and a pack of Zerg violently rushing through the foreign jungle. The dragons had now left, which made transportation much easier on Gerginak and his brood, they could run freely with basically no dangers at all. They had been on this planet for only a few days, but Gerginak knew that he wouldn't be able to stand another. Much had happened over the past night: the encounter between the beauty and the beast, a small skirmish between the two, dragons chasing zerg broodlings, and dragons taking the girl. Finally, Gerginak made it to his untouched encampment. It definately would look damaged though to an untrained eye. Structures, which looked to be built of skin and dirt were scattered over the few acres of the camp. Not just that, but in the center, there was a dead looking colossal creature. But all of the Zerg knew exactly what it was, it was their main hive chamber, in which Gerginak himself had ensnared his very own DNA into its core. This hive was used to spawn any kind of the Zerg in the the whole brood. Anything from the plague intested, scorpian like creatures called Defilers, to the creatures most related to Gerginak, the Ultralisks. Then, hovering hundreds of meters overhead, were the Overlords. These beasts didn't have wings though, they biologically produced their own gas that was lighter than any atmosphere in the universe. These creatures all shared the rank of second in command to Gerginak. They ran over what the brood did and made sure they all did exactly as Gerginak had told them. Gerginak was happy with his proud brood. The overlords had luckily avoided the dragons and were untouched. In addition, the drones had made a great load of progress in clearing more land and had created many new hatcheries and lairs. Everything was working just as Gerginak had left it and he was quite enthused by all of it. Now, lets see... I'll be needing a lot of time to work this all out. FIrst we need to build spore towers for defense from those dragons. Then some sunken colonies to eat up any of those humanoids who decide to invade. Then we need to spawn up at least a thousand acid spitters. But we already have 'bout a quarter of that, so that shouldn't be too hard. Then we'll be needing at least twice that many flyers. One Overlord swayed down to where Gerginak was standing. " Commander, there has been some smoke rising up, night and day, from somewhere about 80 kilometers away. There also appears to be some flying beasts over the smoke. You mentioned that your advisary was taken by them, and I suspect that is where your new advisary is located." "Excellent", Gerginak said "Rally some newborn Mutalisks and Devourers, I want to see what those beasts can take." Immediately, about a hundred flying creatures swooped overhead. Racing toward where the smoke was rising. They were about the size of an Ultralisk on the ground, but had absolutely no resemblence to them. They sort of appeared to be a flying serpent but with a rigid spine and two large wings almost the size of the dragons. It could shoot the parasites on it body at an opponent, sometimes infesting them and sometimes just causing a flesh wound. Following right behind them were another type of creature. Just recently added to the brood, it was a more advanced form of the Mutalisk but the rigid spine was gone. Replacing it was a hard exoskeleton surrounding the entire body of this flying beetle looking thing. It was about the same size but shot out long range acid instead of parasites because the parasites where used to reinforece the exoskeleton. As they left the camp, Gerginak only hoped this small force would do the damage he was anticipating. "My lord, The Overmind, I will need your guidance through this war with this wretched planet." |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC: >.< Ahh! Sorry for being so late. I have had plenty of time to reply. I'm just too lazy...
BiC: Janeen had finally woken up, she had now feared the worst. Since hearing that the behemoth was going to destroy the planet. Or at least, that is what she had heard. She was in a panic, not so sure how she was going to stop him. Though she sensed a helping hand, it was clearly the dragon inside of her. It was a warm, protective feeling. Though, at the same time, it was enraged, and saddened. She looked up as she opened her eyes. She saw the priestess standing over her. "I'm glad you are okay. You took quite the beating out there Janeen," the priestess said. "I'm quite sure that you did your best... Now, I must be going. Please, tell the soldiers to ready me a dragon..." she replied. "As you wish Janeen. The Dragon's Child," she then went outside of the tent. And found a soldier. "Ready Janeen a dragon, she has requested me to ask you this. Will you?" "Yes priestess, I will ready the girl a dragon, please keep her company while I am readying her the finest dragon I can find," he replied. Running off to find a fine dragon. Janeen got out of the bed, and got onto the floor. "Priestess, I will be changing now, please keep the tent fold closed!" she shouted. She then removed the blanket, and the bandages, the wounds had healed rather fast. She then put her clothes back on, and left the tent. Her sheeth and shield where they belonged. And her sword in her sheeth. "Ma'am, with all do respect for your high position in the church, might I ask that you send word ahead to the king of Brandera, I will be needing many soldiers. Of all kinds. Can you do that for me?" Janeen asked. "Yes, Lady Janeen, I will send news of your request. You will need to fly there on the dragon to meet with the king though," she replied. Very well, I will go after the dragon is readied..." Janeen responded. "Lady Janeen! Your dragon is ready for your use!" a young soldier exclaimed. "Very well, thank you for your cooperation. I will now see to it that you are credited for your brave deeds. Do not let this village fall to the chaos that is soon to come," Janeen told them. She then jumped onto the dragon, and they took off. "I recognize you. I remember you, you are Eurose are you not?" Janeen asked. "Well done Janeen, you are getting closer to us every day. Where is it you wish to go Milady?" the dragon asked. "Take me to Brandera Castle Eurose, there I will get us aid in the coming battle," she replied. OoC: Can you wait for what is soon to come? |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: ZOMG 2 pages!!! This calls for awsomeness celebration!!! WOOT!!!
Now, on with the role play... BIC: Every moment that passed a new scourging beast was spawned. For any on looker it was obvious that these creatures meant business. Every underling was equipt with sharp, venemous fangs, claws that could slice through the strongest hides and armor, and some could even fly. It was true, they weren't well trained soldiers, just well equipped killing machines that listened to anything Gerginak said. But, the encampment was bustling with commotion. Gerginak had worked his drones extra hard this day; the brood had to be ready for war. Unfortunately, the freshly hatched broodlings were ready to fight anything in their way, including each other. This didn't cause too much of a threat though, it just killed out the weak hatchlings and made the strong ones stronger. Overlords watched from the air to keep an eye on the fresh brood made up of ten's of thousands. Silently, Gerginak slipped away from the camp in search of some peace and serenity. He thought hard about everything that had happened to him and his brood for the past days. This is it. These next few days may be it for this planet. Even if I don't succeed in my plan, I am sure that there will be damages that can't be healed. How are the mutilisks doing? The foul flying fiends had made their way to the village and they were ready to start havoc. The dragons that were hovering overtop of the city had since flown away out of sight, which was good. They beasts could wreck havoc without delay. Some scattered to the various buildings all around, while others toiled with defenseless soldiers and peasants. While doing all of this, they were all telepathically telling Gerginak what was happening, he could even see what they were seeing if he wanted. Gerginak trotted back into the camp. "Sir, shall we unleash the underlings onto our enemy?" Said the overlords in unison. "They seem ready to kill, even if it means killing each other." No, give them a job. I want a radius of 10 kilometers of forest cleared and harvested to make way for our new 'permanent' base of operations. Thats right, change of plans, I want to keep this planet. These humans are defenseless. I get it all now. They use these flying creatures they call dragons for their own use. I guess you could call them dragon tamers. And without their dragons, they are horrible fighters against our brood. We will make them into 'easy meat' fast if this is all the humans have to offer. If we build up a good enough air defense and offense the dragons will be outnumbered horribly and won't stand a chance. OOC: I think this is all there is to it. You're next. Show me what you got! Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OoC:
Quote:
BiC:Janeen! I don't like what I am feeling... Hurry! Get the troops, and head for the village you returned from... Before it is too late! her dragon side was speaking to her again. "The... the village!" Janeen shouted. "Eurose! Get me to Brandera, quick! I need to tell the king!" "As you wish Milady," he replied. He started to increase his speed to a faster pace. "Hold on tight!" The wind was blowing in their faces. Before long, they had reached the balcony of Castle Brandera. The dragon flew down close, as Janeen jumped off. She rushed to see the king. Once she had gotten to the king's chambers. She asked, "Your Majesty, have you recieved the request I sent you?" "Yes Lady Janeen, I have recieved the request, soldiers and dragons have already been sent to the village. Please, stay behind to re-arm yourself," he said. "I can't, the village is at stake, please send my regards to my mother, father, and little brother. Thank you your Majesty..." she said. She turned around after giving him a bow. And walked off toward the balcony. She jumped onto Eurose, and they flew off back to the village. Within several minutes, they had reached the village. Several monsters were hovering above, the dragons and soldiers fighting them off. Janeen and Eurose flew in closer. Once close enough. Janeen jumped off, landing directly on top of one of the beasts. She lunged her sword straight into it's eye socket. Or what seemed like an eye socket, and it dropped to the ground instantly. She jumped off before collision, and flew to the next, though this time she threw her sword into it. She continued to do this to all of the beasts, until they were all dead. Soon, a larger, more ferocious beast had shown up. "Darn!" she shouted. "Eurose! Get the other dragons! Direct there aim to the monsters head! I will finish it off from there." |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
OOC: I like how the way it was quoted it seems like Anakin skywalker came to zelda universe and posted that quote. lol
BIC: "ger!!" Gerginak growled under his breath. He could feel that his monsters were taking a beating, but fortunately still doing the damages he had hoped. That humanoid called Janeen had lead a dragon back to the village and was leading the soldiers, boosting their dwindling moral and making them think they could win. It was just false hope. It was evident in Gerginak's mind that the village would have to be abandoned. But that was as far as his underlings were told to go. Once that village was demolished, they report back immediately to base. That in turn was going to relieve the stress of having to continue fighting. He was going to pull back his troops for a reason, that reason being the battle for final justice would come later. Gerginak had other things to worry about anyway. Thousands of his bulldozer sized broodlings were tearing down the forest and harvesting any substances they could find to make way for the brand new base he was creating. He wanted to be huge, fotress-like and of anything, unstoppable. They were making pretty good time though, in the past hour, a 1 kilometer radius had been torn down. The sun was setting now and Gerginak wanted to get everything in the base for night. He could tell anyway that the brood was worn out from constant work for the past few days. He didn't mean to be so rough on them, but sometimes he was. They deserved a much needed rest. Gerginak let out a large howl/roar. "Greaghr!!!". The roar could be heard from the almost demolished village. Now it was time, time to rest and be ready for the next day. A day of pain and suffering for anyone who got in Gerginak's way. Gerginak returned back to the base. The living hatchery was thriving with broodlings busiling in and out. The same as before. Though they were becoming tiresome they didn't want to end their work until sunset and that was a bit away. Okay. That is enough for today. Tomorrow should be the same if all goes well. I hope that these dragons and this race of humoids is all there is on this planet. That will make for a very easy destruction of them to make room for the mighty Zerg race. Tomorrow, we send out our fastest scouts to scout out at least 100 km. Then tomorrow night, destruction of anything that gets in our way. Janeen, here this; be ready tomorrow night this ends. OOC: lol i said by saturday, i had time today, so here it is, o one more thing, im doing something you probably didnt expect, but the huge battle will come soon. Just remember that last sentence is heard by Janeen. |

Re: A Distant Jungle (Gaurdian Dragon)
I heard a voice... It's him, he's ready to end this madness... Very well, if it's death he wants, it is death he will get. I'm tired of losing friends. No more of this madness, Janeen thought. "Eurose! Get all of the dragons ready for a final battle, even the rogues. Convince as many as possible that if we don't stop this. The whole planet will die soon enough," Janeen explained.
"Very well Janeen, wait here for my return," Eurose replied. He flew off into the distance. "Believe me, I would. But I just don't have the time to..." the warrior said quietly. "Misha!" She shouted to the priestess. "Yes, Lady Janeen?" The priestess replied. "Tell Eurose, when he returns. That I have gone to the forest," the warrior replied. She started flying for the forest. Luckily she had her shoes back and everything was normal. "Very well," the priestess replied quietly. She then returned to healing the wounded. Now... The final battle for my planet... Darnit! Why did he show up!? She was angry now. She continued for the forest, once she had gotten there. She dropped to the ground and walked in. After several minutes of running, she came across destroyed trees. The creatures had obviously destroyed it. Now, she was angry, for her people, and the creatures of her planet. "Your brood will die within the next twenty-four hours behemoth... I swear it!" She shouted. There were numbers of weakend creatures left behind, those that were not powerful enough to return. "So? It's a game of whomever is the strongest?" She asked herself. "Fine! I'll just take care of the straglers, and then head for the brood..." She started to wander, killing broodling after broodling, they weren't strong enough to fight back. All they could do was hope that Gerginak would save them... But, if it were as Janeen had thought, than there would be no reason to. Would there? After the small ones had been completely whiped out, she started heading for the brood. Just before hearing a familiar cry coming from above. The dragon had howled and then landed behind her. "Janeen! We're in luck! A number of the rogues have accepted to help. But they won't be here until morning, they suggest that we wait to attack until then. Alright?" Eurose told her. "Very well, I will wait until morning, but no later. Let us return to the village," she replied. After jumping back onto Eurose, they headed for the village. Once there, they rested for the final battle the next day. OoC: Here it comes, the final battle. |
