Dead Men Tell No Tales (Mikey B)
Ethan watched in amusement as the man in the bar downed yet another pint of beer. It was nice for the assassin to know that his target would be half drunk when he killed him.
I’m getting 5,000 gold for this mans hands alone, his entire body should get me something extra… Ethan thought to himself, scratching at his left leg. The ninja was hung upside down from a streetlight, the flame in the box extinguished so that Ethan couldn’t be seen. After a few moments of boredom, the man stumbled out into the street, a glass pitcher in his hand. Laughing like a mad man, he chucked the pitcher at the bars open doors. As soon as the pitcher struck, it exploded, the shockwaves nearly knocking Ethan from his perch. “Tell me to pay my tab will you! See how you like that!” the man yelled, laughing at the same time. Closing his eyes, the assassin pulled Havoc from its sheath, turning it black before the glow alerted his target. Moments later the ninja went blind as the future sight kicked in, and Ethan was rewarded with a slightly distorted vision of the man walking underneath him, and moments later Havoc was embedded in the man’s head. Wishing that it was the only future, the assassin touched himself on his arm, the death crest giving him back his original vision. Sheathing the sword, Ethan watched as the man stumbled towards him, unaware of Ethan’s presence. As soon as he passed, the assassin dropped stealthily to the floor, unsheathing the blood red blade once more. Waiting for the opportune moment to strike, Ethan slowly crept forward, ready to kill the man with a single blow to the head. “If you wanted to kill me, the best opportunity you had was when I was underneath the lamppost.” The man said suddenly. Without turning back he chucked a small coin over his shoulder. Before Ethan could move the coin struck his arm, exploding as it did, making him drop Havoc. Ooc: I’m not that good at writing intro’s. Hope I portrayed Flamel alright. |

Re: Dead Men Tell No Tales (Mikey B)
Flamel spun around, surprisingly more sober than he had seemed moments earlier. He took advantage of the fact that the ninja’s weapon was on the ground, and dove towards the ninja himself. The madman placed one hand on Ethan’s face, hooking his foot around the back of the ninja’s leg.
With a push of inhuman strength, Creed shoved the ninja so that he tripped over his foot. Ethan was no wimp however, and attempted a sweeping kick while on the ground. Flamel hopped back to avoid being tripped by the attack, giving the ninja time to recover his weapon. “You know, I haven’t had a good fight since I mistakenly thought two enemies were too weak after fighting eachother to fight me. You’ll be a good way to break that streak,” Creed said. The madman snapped his fingers, deciding that a medium sized explosion would be good to start with. Ethan rolled out of the way as soon as he saw the ball of light form. The one who told him about Flamel had warned him to get out of the way if he snapped his fingers, advice that he was glad he followed when an explosion erupted where he had been standing moments earlier. “You’re nothing without explosions Creed,” Ethan said. The ninja dashed forward and slashed at the madman. This time, Flamel quickly unsheathed his shortsword to parry the blow. “Maybe, but at least I don’t have to sneak up on somebody to kill them.” Creed unclipped his sword’s sheath from his belt, wielding it as a second weapon. The explosives master lashed out at Ethan with the blunt sheath, intending to bash him across the head with it. The ninja ducked under the blow and shouldered Flamel in the stomach, forcing him to step back with a muffled “Oomph.” Not wanting to give up the advantage, Ethan dove at Creed. The madman saw the attack coming however, and ducked down. Using his shoulder and arm in perfect synchrony, Flamel intercepted Ethan’s attack and flipped him into the air. The ninja twisted in midair and landed on his feet, glaring at his opponent. Flamel stood with a twisted smirk on his face, definitely enjoying this fight. Ethan ran at Creed, well aware that Flamel was likely to strike a defensive pose in order to flip the ninja again. Instead of running at him full on however, the ninja spun and performed a hook kick to Flamel’s face. The madman blocked the attack and sweeped his legs out from under him with his left foot. The ninja fell to the ground, but not before executing a mule kick to Creed’s chest. The madman was forced back a foot or two with yet another “Ooomph.” “This is a fun fight, isn’t it?” Creed said. “I wonder how other people would think of this fight.” The explosives master turned and snapped his fingers, causing the wall of a nearby building to explode. The explosion was too much for the building, and it promptly collapsed on its screaming inhabitants. Flamel was having a blast, pun intended.

Re: Dead Men Tell No Tales (Mikey B)
“Don’t make the mistake of thinking im one of the sloppy people who would want to save them.” Ethan grunted, nodding towards the ruins of the building.
“I won’t my fellow, I won’t.” Flamel chuckled. Rolling backwards and onto his feet, Ethan flipped Havoc around so the blade was now running down his arm. With a quick thought the blade transformed, taking the characteristics of Tantos. Running forward with his increased speed, the assassin aimed his fist for Creed’s face. But before the blow landed the madman moved his head to the right, which Ethan had hoped he would do. Carrying on with his punch, the ninja watched as Havoc sliced through the flesh on the man’s face, making a shallow cut that ran the length of Flamel’s cheek. Jumping back before his opponent could react, Ethan watched in amusement as Creed pushed a hand to his face to try and stop the bleeding. “O dear, I hope that isn’t permanent.” Ethan laughed. Talking to opponent was something, but for the ninja to be taunting him was another. Before Ethan could react Flamel clicked his fingers again, making the ground underneath the assassin’s feet explode, knocking him over. Laughing like a mad man once more, Creed clicked his fingers over and over, Ethan only dodging them by rolling over. Feeling his arm brush a rock as he rolled over, the ninja picked it up and threw it as he rolled, the stone collided with his opponents head, giving Ethan a few moments to recover and get up. Deciding that a close up assault would be best, the ninja ran and jumped, lashing out with his foot, aiming it for the man’s stomach. There was a crack as the blow landed, knocking Creed over, but before he did he grabbed Ethan’s leg and twisted, dislocating his leg at the kneecap. Yelling in pain, the assassin jumped back, careful not to put any pressure on his injured leg. Using his left hand, Ethan popped his leg back into place. Before he could find Flamel and extract his revenge, the man head-butted him from behind, knocking him over. Rolling with the attack, Ethan let his feet hit a wall before he launched off it, Havoc straight out in front of him. The man side stepped the flying body, but the blade cut into the soft skin on his foot. Landing with a thud, the ninja, punched the ground with a fist, preparing to use one of his attacks. As expected, Flamel snapped his fingers, making the area where Ethan was stood explode. Rolling to the side, the assassin began to pound the ground again, the ground shake. Flamel tried in vain to stay upright, but fell flat on his behind as the waves began to grow in size. Pouring all his energy into his attack, Ethan struck the ground again and again, his fists soon becoming a blur. The waves were rolling into nearby buildings, crushing the walls like paper and destroying the buildings. Laughing like Flamel, Ethan kept striking and striking until the waves were bigger than him, throwing Flamel up into the sky. Seeing his opponent up in the air, the assassin chucked his weapon, the blade aimed for Creed’s head. But before it could strike, the mad man caught it with one hand, landing with a thud on his feet. “A very interesting technique, does your ability come from your weapon?” Flamel laughed, brandishing his own weapon and Havoc in front of him. Without thinking about what he was doing, Ethan jumped like a missile at the man, determined to get his weapon back. |
