The Alliance (Only Nikuvillain, Zorolo, ILuvzelda, and nekoryuuha)

Ooc: This is how Nikudemon, Zorlo, Tsukineko, and Celia met and let say that hell is go to break loose. I’m using Nikudemon he is in my sig.

Ic: I was sleeping by a tree about 2 miles away for a village that had been left in ruin by a demon. Now was untouched by human for many years now or that what I heard. As I look at the view everything was beautiful except for that big deserted village it the middle of it. The grass was green the tree was healthy by the village on the other hand was not so healthy. The village was a desert waste land and it had destroyed building that has moss on it. I’m heading down to the village to see if I can find something that will get me closer to the demon that destroyed that village and many more. As I was searching for a clue of the demon whereabouts in the village, I seen a girl sitting by a pond. So I went to talk to her, but I walked slowly, so not to startle her away. As I was walking closer, I seen a half cat demon and then I realized that the girl was a demon, so I stop and look to see what is about to happen. I might have found the demon I was looking for I thought to myself. I was hiding somewhere, looking over at the demon and half demon and wanted to know what was happening.

As I approached the Demons, I wondered why they would be gathering out in the open, and why are they meeting in this ruin village. I began to also wonder who this shadow was that was approaching from the North, it seemed to be a man, but it was hard to tell from this distance. I drew my sword, but still watched closely for any activity that may happen, and the demons began to ready themselves for battle. They seemed to be having a fight, and were about to settle it with violence. Such an outcome would be great for me because with one demon dead, that would make my job easier. The demon went and run off so I thought that they left. A shadow approached me from behind in pure instance I turn around and found myself surrounded by the demons.

Now aware of my situation, I was ready to do battle with the demons. As one of the demon with to struck me, a repier stopped the blade I then it was the cat demon that went to struck me. I could now see the shadow, his sword glimmered the requiem of the setting sun. " it seemed to me our battle had no purpose," he said most confident.

"what do you know? you seem to be a fool to me," I said in angry.

This man was a fencer as far as I can seen but his appearance was unusual. He didn't seem to be very strong. But knew I was the stronger one. "Why are you fighting," he asked.

" These demons destroyed the village and i'm here to stop them" I said.

"I didn't destroy this village this is my first time here," the half demon said.

"they are lying demon lie all the time," I said angry.

The man now understood, and stood by me. Although I am a loner but I felt this man may be able to help me slay these demons. The girl demon went on the offensive and we readied ourselves for the battle that was to start.

OoC: In this story and battle, I am Zorlo, he is my noted character in my sig, if you desire to know more you can check him there. This is gonna be fun, and I hope you all enjoy this prologue and the battle to come.

Zorlo’s Prologue

I had just returned to the city when I was approached by a young woman. She was about in her late teens, and was very beautiful and knew my name. when I had served in the army, this kind of girl only had one reason to approach me, she wanted me to help her with something. She asked me to head to a destroyed city, to retrieve something she had lost. From what I had heard about that city, it was destroyed a long time ago. I am not one to ask questions, especially of a pretty girl, but this job seemed a bit odd, but I am a fencer, so, I am obliged to help this girl, its in our code.

I headed out from the city, it is a three day travel from the city I’m in to the desolate ruined wasteland that was once a city. I travel by foot, not because I like to, but because I am to poor to buy a horse or something of that nature. While I walked, I thought about what I was doing, and also thought back to when I had heard of that lost city. I was in the army, and had just finished a battle against our enemies, and my friends spoke about a ghost city which had been destroyed by demons years ago. I prepared myself mentally as I feared that I may encounter the demons, my skills were good, and my sword skills sharp from my last mission, but I was unsure I could defeat a demon, much less two. I also began to think about my last mission, and about how I had failed to defeat that demon of a man. I could not let that happen again, and I would not lose, even if I found myself about to be killed.

I arrived in the wasteland after a three day walk, and saw in the distance three figures. One was distanced from the others and something seemed to be gleaming from the one who was distanced. I moved in to see what was happening, I was filled with fear for who that might be. Approaching cautiously, I saw that I had been noticed, and I then moved in to realize it was not me who had been noticed, but the other man who had been noticed. I charged to see what was happening, and when a blade was trusted I moved my sword to stop it.

I exclaimed that “there is no reason for senseless violence.”

The man I had stopped from being stabbed looked at me quizzically, and said that those others, whom I now noted as being demons, were the ones who destroyed the city. I wondered how he would know, seeing as the city had been destroyed years ago, and, being one to question such thoughts.

I felt obliged to ask “So you believe it was this Neko and pretty girl who destroyed the village.

He gave me a faint stare, but I had already angered them it seemed, and I now find myself facing down to very powerful seeming demons.

BiC: It was just another day for me. "Great. Not only was I run out of another village today, but this time they even tried to kill me. Do people really hate demons so much that even half demons are attacked?" I was only running, but I still out paced everything else on the vast field he was moving through.

Only the horses in the distance seemed able to keep up with me. "It looks like I'm sleeping outside again today. Not to mention I'm once again hunting. Maybe I should have stayed with that kind old woman.....no, I would have gotten her killed. I couldn't do that to anyone." As I ran through the field, it slowly changes to bare ground.

I soon come upon a ruined village. "Wow. This is one village I don't think I need to worry about anyone wanting to kill me. Maybe I can find something to use as food or otherwise here. What happened here?" As I roamed the streets I noticed one thing immediatly, the walls of the houses were extremely brittle. As I touched a wall it powdered collapsing the rest of the building into dust. "Hmmm.

Safe to say I'm probably not going to find anything of value in this village. Even the wood powdered when it collapsed. It's useless to even continue searching." I walked back out of the destroyed village and continued running all the while thinking about what could have happened to put a village in ruins like this.

" Outside the village, I came upon a pond where I found a girl. "Hello." I yelled to her. As she turned to me I realized she was a demon. I walked up to her and started talking.I asked her “what is your name” and she responded “Celia.” We started to talk and she told me that she detested humans. I asked her about the village and Celia said that she had heard of a demon that had destroyed the village and I asked her if she was the one who destroyed the village and she said “no.”

All at once I heard a noise from a few feet away, and without a word, I sent this girl a message, my signals told her the whole story of that we were being watched and I gave the signal to approach cautiously. I drew my short sword, but saw a shadow in the backround. Me and this girl lunged forwards to see what was hiding from us, and I attacked the man that had been hiding and watching us, believing him to be from the last village that had tried to kill me. A shimmering sword struck and stopped me from striking the watcher. This man was dressed rather pompusly, but even so, i knew that his sword was only aimed to stop me from striking, but it was hard to tell his intentions. The girl said that these humans should die, but I found no reason for unnecessary bloodshed. So I posed the question “why shed blood for no reason” and she said “because all humans need to die.” We were now drawn into a death match, I only hope that I'm still alive when it's finished.

OoC: And with me that makes all of us! I'm fighting with Celia whom is in my sig. Aight now let's fight!

BiC:

I thought that getting rid of humans was my purpose in life. Though surprisingly here I am standing in front of a destroyed city where no humans exist. What has compelled me to come here? Here, where there are no humans in which I can dispose of…… Where no humans have lived for God knows how long? The urge I got to come here was obviously beyond my control. Still, at first I knew not what compelled me to the legend of this village. Of course I'm not one for legends, so I knew that I probably had ulterior motives that I seemed to not want myself to know. I realize that I am a being with a lot of complexities in my life. So I shouldn't care about a meager village like this one.

Yet I felt an odd presence here…… Like that of a demon…… yet so much less like one than normal. Some thing is not right here…. I'm going to that small pond I saw on my way here so that I may wash my face. Perhaps that would calm my nerves.

*swiftly walks toward pond* *washes face*

Suddenly a voice called from behind me. I couldn't make out the words so I turned around. "Hello!" a young man said. He seemed around my age and I could tell straight away he was a demon. Yet, in an instant I realized that I was slightly wrong. He had cat’s ears and his build reminded me very much of that of a feline. I knew that even partially demon was demon enough for me to trust him. Slightly that is. He asked for my name and I thought it was safe to answer him.

"Celia." I replied curtly. He sat down and I immediately could tell I wouldn't get rid of him no matter how hard I tried. So I put up with it, by enduring talking to him for a while and then, perhaps he would go away. After a couple minute we got to the subject of humans. Since I detested them so much he seemed surprised to see exactly how much I loathed them. To me it was normal. Most people from my city detested humans and all those whom associated with them. Soon I came to tell him about the village. He seemed to believe I was the one who destroyed it since he asked me if I did. I of course said no.

Suddenly his body tensed and I saw the look in his eyes that told me to be prepared. He and I lunged at a shadow he had noticed. He struck at the man who had been watching us and another man appeared out of nowhere to block his attack with his own weapon. I ignored all around me when I realized that coming here wasn’t such a bad idea after all. For it seemed that both these men were a human. I muttered that all humans were to die by my hand and the young man I had been speaking to questioned my notion. I simply told him the truth and that was that ALL humans need to die. I drew out my staff and prepared to destroy the human and if need be the young man. I remembered back to the day where my hatred began. It is a feeling I won’t soon forget…… now with all my rage I form a ball of hatred. “I dare you to withstand this!” I screamed as I hurled my attack toward the two men.

The demon girl gathering energy to make a sphere of hatred. I look at the fencer and seen that he was completely oblivious to what was about to happen. I went a look back at the demon girl and she was starting to launched the sphere of hatred at us. I then look back at the fencer and seen that he was still completely oblivious to what was about to happening. I jump at the fencer and push him out of the way. The sphere landed next to me I got hit on my leg but it is minimum damage. My leg was hurting and I went to stand up and I could feel the pain my leg was actually in. I just ignore the pain and went to see if the fencer was all right.

I walk over the were the fencer landed "are you all right," I said.

"Yes, and call me Zorlo" he said.

"Good because I'm going to need your help to take down these demon," I said.

"Thank you for helping me get out of the way of the sphere and I'll be happy to help," he replied

"No, I was just returing the favor and my name is Nikudemon. Now I want you to fight the half demon and I'm going to fight the demon" I replied back at him.

"Are you guys all right," said the half demon.

"You should be worry if we are all right you should be worry about yourself and not us. By the way what is you guys name your pretty strong," I said to him.

"Tsukineko and the girl is Celia. By the way we did not destroy this village," Tsukineko said.

"Well my name is Nikudemon and the guy sitting next to me is Zorlo. And by the way stop you lieing im not going to he any more of it," I said.

I then started to run towards Celia and I used quick draw but I hesitated and she was able to get out the way. I knew then that I had to get what Tsukineko and Zorlo has been saying to me out of my head if I wanted to survive. So I started to run up to her again.

I stood there, looking at the neko, wondering what he was thinking, but I had no plans on asking. He bore a striking resemblance to my master and I wondered how that could be because my master had said that there were few of his kind left.

I asked “Mr. Neko, did you know a neko fencer, Kurenkento." He looked at me with an auspicious glare for a few moments, but said nothing, he did not appear to want to fight, so I was not gonna force him to fight me.

After a few moments, he responded, “No, I’ve never heard of him before, and if you are going to talk to me, please call me Tsukineko.”

I heard him, but because i knew there would be no blood shed between me and him, I sheathed up my sword and took off my buckler and unclipped my sword from my belt and placed them next to a tree where that I lied down against. This man was staring at the battle, as it got more and more intense, what did I care, although the man had saved me and the girl had tried to kill me, I was not intent on joining.

Before long, I noticed a strange glimmer in his eyes, a look that told me that he wanted to join this battle, but he had no good reason. I picked up my sword, and re-clipped it to my belt, picked up my shield, and attached it to my right arm, and then I charged at him and tackled him with my shield. His eyes told me that battle would help him clear his mind of what the girl had said, and it would help me with clearing my mind of why I had not assisted that man who had saved me from that attack.

I exclaimed “stand up Tsukineko, battle calls to us, and we cannot ignore it any longer.” He stared at me and understood what I was saying and drew his short sword and readied himself for battle.

He said “I’m ready to fight, lets go Zorlo, let us clear our minds of what the others have said and see which of us is stronger.”

I drew my sword, and looked at my reflection in it, and charged the neko. He was ready for me this time, he blocked my sword with his short sword, and we crossed several times before we finally broke and both leapt backwards. I could see a strange aura forming around his claw, I didn’t know what it was, my master had never used an attack like that I thought to myself. He charged with his magical claw, and I moved my shield forwards, and his claw sliced right through it, making me drop it, astonished, he launched an offensive to try to defeat me while I was distracted.

After I came to my senses, I moved to attack as well, I had forgotten some of my training, in fencing, you never let your opponent gain the offensive, but if they do, you never move into strike at the same time, it leaves you venerable to an attack, or more so then you would normally be. The time for thinking had ended, this was now a battle of instinct, for which he had, from what i’ve seen, mastered, ignoring natural logic, and fighting on through anything.

Swords slashing, crossing blades, and fighting hard to get a victory, I landed the first blow, it was a slight thrust that had caught him in his chest, the blade barely nicked him, but I could see a small wound, but in my victorious thought, he swung his magic claw at me, I dodged it barely, but he sliced my hat into three pieces, and got me mad. The second rule of fencing is don’t lose your cool, because you make foolish moves, and I moved to strike him with my blade again, and this time, he got a nice slash on my right arm. This blow slowed me down, but it didn’t stop me from continuing, the good thing for me was I am left handed.

In an instance, I decided to try it, my special technique, the most powerful attack in my arsenal.
At once, I shouted “Air Slash” and from a my sword came a mighty gust that was in the shape of a slash, and it flew towards him in amazing speed, and he sliced through it with his magic claw and I now realized that this battle would be one of interest.

Although he had split the wind into two parts, one headed for Nikudemon, and one headed for Celia. They both dodged it, but just barely and continued there battle. Amazed as I was at that, I was drawn back to the reality that I had my own opponent. The battle must go on I thought, blocking out Celia and Nikudemon fighting, and fighting Tsukineko was all I cared about.

My instincts told me that this fight wouldn’t be easy, but most likely worth it after destroying all the wretched humans. I overheard the men talking after sustaining the attack I threw at them.

“So….. Your name is Nikudemon? Be prepared to die then. Yet do not worry Zorlo, Tsukineko……… Your turn shall come promptly afterward.”

I knew that if I wished to defeat all three of them I would have to think strategically and reserve all my strength…… I knew that I would need to feel more emotion to beat them….. For now the only feeling that surged through my body was hatred so the only available move for me at the moment was Dark Force. Not that I would need much more to defeat these humans.

I quickly realized that Zorlo and Tsukineko were fighting amongst themselves so that only left me Nikudemon. He seemed swift on his feet so if I were to destroy him I would have to get him when he was stunned. It’s lucky for me that all humans have unstable emotions that will bring to him his demise.

I noticed that on his neck he wore an intriguing pendent. At once I recognized it. “That’s a pretty pendent you’ve got there.” I sneered at him.

I could see him flinch slightly at that remark. I needed to finish the job by making his emotions go completely out of control. Otherwise I might end up losing the battle. “You know among us demons, those pendants are quite a rarity” I said that so emotionless that you could see how fazed he was by my words.

I twirled my staff out into the open and pointed it at him. “Do you realize that those who bear that pendant have no right to be called human?” I hid my face with my hood so as he would feel more intimidated. I was unsure if it had worked so I decided it was time to find out. I immediately used Dark Force.

He dodged it with ease. Then he came back to strike me with his katana. I swung my staff and projected my Dark Shield. He took a couple steps back and I knew he was ready to hit me again. This time I was slightly more prepared. I had thought about my childhood and corrupted life, and then all that sadness welled up inside of me struck out at him through my Dark Shadow move. Since he did not seem very cheerful after my remarks about his pendant he was overcome by the shadow of darkness. Unfortunately, for me Zorlo and Tsukineko were too busy fighting each other to be engulfed by my attack.

He recovered from my move before I could inflict any damage on him and I stood ready to overcome anything he might throw at me. Even though I wasn’t quite yet sure of what powers he hid beneath that sheathed sword of his. I was just to stand there and wait for an opening to attack.

After recovering from a terrifying move I stood up. I looked at Celia with a terrifying face one of pure hated. “Yeah, that may be true that I shouldn't call meself human, but not in this case, I can call meself human. Unlike the rest of them this sword is what keep me human. My father made sure of that and I'll prove it. First this sword well never leave my side,” I said in a serious voice.

I threw the sword as far away as possible and we watched as the sword instantly transported back to my side. “Second, this sword suppresses my demon form. So after fighting with you I will start to get weak a then get a boost of energy when I transform into a demon. So in this case you are wrong,“I said again in a serious voice.

I went and pulled out my sword and showed it to Celia “as this sword and pendent has the marking of a dragon and snake that are fighting I shall fight on with both my body and my soul ,“ I said in a more confident voice.

I started to run up to her when a gust of air come up to me, but I quickly dodged it. It came from zolro fight. I started to run toward Celia. I was in a pure rage now. I no longer cared I used quick step got right up on her and went to hit her with a normal slash.

That’s when what Zorlo said came back to my mind.

I hit her but just barely because of the hesitation I had again and this was the perfect time to end the fight.

I went and tried to ignore what Zorlo had said but I saw there fight and it was not like they were try to kill each other they were having fun. I turn back around and in more of a rage from that dumb Zorlo. Thinking that he didn't listen to what I said, no what I told him to do. But I had no time to deal with that now I got focused and prepared to fight. "Why do you hate all humans there not all that bad? But whether you answer or not I will cut you down" I said in the most serious voice ever.

As I cut through Zorlo's Air Slash, I realized I didn't need my short sword for this fight and sheathed it. Immediately Zorlo yelled out to me, "Hey what are you doing? Are you giving up or do you think that your sword is no match for me?"

"Sword?" I replied, "Who needs a sword? I have have my claws and your flesh. Now, I ask this one question. Are you sure you wish to fight me? I don't want to hurt you more than I have already and I have no desire to kill you. Will you yield, Zorlo?"

"Never, Tsukineko. You'll have to defeat me." said Zorlo as he readied himself for the coming battle.

"Fine then, I'll disable you from combat." I replied as I drew an element from my necklace. My claws stopped glowing the soft white they were and became covered with a purple energy. At that moment, I charged at Zorlo started to dash around him at full speed to disorient him and then jumped at him. Zorlo dodged out of the way just barely and stabbed at me. It was at this time Zorlo found out the reason why my claws now glowed purple as I grabbed his rapier and sent electricity through it. As I went to grab him by the throat, Zorlo wrenched the rapier out of my hand, cutting me across the cheek in the process and jumped back releasing another Air Slash at the same time. Zorlo looked back just in time to see me as I cast a transparent Wall shield to stop the attack. As I dropped the Wall shield, Zorlo said to me, "Tsukineko, you're able to use other magic than just your claws?!"

"Yes I am, Zorlo. I can cast shields to protect myself along with inhancing my claws. My claws become as strong as steel and my shields protect me when I can't move fast enough to dodge or counter." I said as the elemental energy faded from my claws. I knew I couldn't continue fighting like this. Using my max speed, my enhanced claws, and my shields all at once was taking it's toll on me and I knew I wouldn't be able to keep this up for much more then another 40 minutes. "Now, I ask you one more time Zorlo. Will you yield or will you continue to fight me in this fruitless battle?" I said as I waited there hoping Zorlo would stop trying to fight, but ready in case he wished to continue.

“I fight!” I exclaimed with a kind of vigor. “However fruitless the battle, this is forcing me to fight at my greatest, and such training is irreplaceable.”

I was ready to battle, I saw he was waiting for me to attack, I had no idea how to begin an attack. “If I slash, he could split my sword with his claw, and my Air Slash is worthless vs. his shield, what do i have left I thought.” I had to come up with some plan of attack, and I thought up something.

“Ready” I said, and he said “Alright” with a form of a sigh.

I unleashed my Air Slash, and he immediately countered with his shield, so I moved in to attack, but he quickly responded in an ingenious manor. His speed aloud him to out maneuver my attack and get behind me. He moved to strike me with is claws again, and I went to slash him in the chest, but to my surprise, he raised his shield and deflected my sword and then attacked me with his claw, but I managed to out maneuver him yet again, but this time by the skin of my teeth. I slashed his claw out of the way and attacked him again but this time I would get him, I unleashed an Air Slash, but it only ended hurting me as he raised his shield just as I unleashed it and I was pounded by it.

The force of my own attack sent me flying back. I slowly brought myself to my feet and I wondered what I had done by attacking this man with no reason.

This brought me to wonder and ask “why are you here Tsukineko, what brought you to this land, and also, why do you continue to fight this fruitless battle if it is as fruitless as you say?”

"I simply wandered here, Zorlo. I wander from village to village leaving when the village grows violent. I dislike violence and leave to keep the village from killing the various people that are willing to let me stay." I said as I watched Zorlo stand back up. "As for the reason I fight in this 'fruitless' battle,I fight for the same reason I leave villages the moment it turns violent. I will never allow someone else to die because of me. If I leave here, could you truthfully say that you wouldn't help Nikudemon against Celia? Could you in truth tell me that the two of you wouldn't kill her? I can understand why Celia wants all humans to die. Humans by nature kill that which is different. I fight to protect Celia. I won't let her die because I fled the battle. Ready yourself, Zorlo. Here I come!" I yelled as I drew another element into my claws causing them to glow a bright red.

I ran full speed at Zorlo and ducked under his thrust, shouldering him in the gut and throwing my shield up at the same time to toss him back a little ways. Right as Zorlo landed, he dashed forward thrusting his rapier multiple times in rapid succession, hitting my left arm twice. With my right claw, I slashed him across the chest and smiled as his shirt burst into flames. I jumped back to give him time to put out his clothing. As his clothing went out I noticed that he was wearing chain-mail and it made me curious.

"Why do you wear chain-mail underneath your chothing and not on top to protect your clothing?" I asked while at the same time I increased the fire attribute of my claws until the bright red glow became a flame that almost seemed to grow from my hands like my own claws. "I was just curious since it could have protected your clothing from my claws. I will remove now it for you since it must be slowing you down." I said as a sadistic smile crossed face. I knew I could destroy his armor without hurting him and didn't need to worry. "I hope you don't mind if it's melted."

I wanted to chuckle softly at least to show how amused I was by Nikudemon’s question, but I knew not to show any form of weakness to my opponent.

“Such simple minded creatures humans are…….. They know nothing about what they speak of……. Humans…… Not all that bad? Don’t make me laugh.” I said staring him down. “You seem so confident to beat me. Then show me what you are made of. Just to see how weak you are I will inform you that any human that comes across me is either in excruciating pain or is not alive to tell of their encounter with me.”

I got up from his attack trying not to show that he inflicted any pain on me. I took up my staff and said “Now I believe we are both in this to win.”

I knew that if I was to beat him I would have to use all of my strength. I was ready to crush him. I saw that he was getting ready to strike again. I could see his movements clear as day. He got closer. I gripped onto my staff and got prepared to defend my self by whatever means necessary. As he got closer I remembered all that caused me to hate humans to begin with. I just wanted to share all that pain with these humans. To make them suffer what I was going through.

“As for the answer to your question….. You’re just about to find out you insolent creature.” I took my staff and instead of using Dark Shield to deflect the move, I had a passive look on my face and merely stood there. “Come at me. If you dare that is.”

If he were to come at me I would be completely defenseless. Or so he thought. They had not begun to feel my wrath.

His smile worried me, but what had worried me more was what he had said, about melting my armor off. I was worried, he was quickly increasing his energy in his claw and I saw the fire emitted was stronger than the lightning he had use before. I readied myself, but worried because of the immense strength he welds.

“I wear my armor under my clothing because I am shamed by it” I said and continued “It is the only thing that separates me from the other fencers, is the fact that I have learned to fight even with this heavy armor. Most fencers prefer to not wear any armor, but I wear this with two purposes, one is to weight train me during and after battle. The second is that it hides my wounds from me. Mostly the wounds I got from the war I assisted fighting in, but enough talk, Have at you then.”

He came at me again, but this time I was ready, as I dodged his flaming claw, but even though I dodged it, the cinders from the claw still connected and burned me, but I could ignore them, especially if I had a chance to attack, as my sword pierced his arm, but he disregarded it, and lunged his claw into my arm, and burned it into my skin. The shear agony I was in was unbelievable as I continued to fight, lunge, parry, slash, lunge, parry slash. Such a method was not working.

I needed time to recover, my body was sheared by his strength and I was had suffered more wounds than I could count in this one battle, but I didn’t care, I was having fun fighting him, even with the pain.

I now said, “I had no intention of killing the girl, her opinion and rage are her own, and if she wants to vent them on me, I don’t mind, even if it costs me my life. If it helps her move past her hate, I would die to free her of it. Even if you left, I would not let either of them kill each other, I am bound by my major weaknesses, my heart, my compassion, my love of life, such things cannot be robbed of me, even in the eve of death. I hate no race, I hate no single person, and I will not stand in an unfair battle, the only thing that keeps me fighting is the shear exileration I have for fighting, the rush it give me to fight against strong opponents. But I will NEVER fight in a battle that would end in the unjust death of someone."

I went and started to run at Celia with my quick step move but I seen that she was completely defenseless or at least that why she want me to think. I knew for experiences that went someone leave them self open they are planning a counter attack.

“Celia want are you trying to pull leave yourself open like that. I will not come after you like that because I know I cann’t attack you right now,” I said.

“Oh do you really think you are going to be able to get out of my trap well try it,” she said.

“Yes I do just watch and learn demon I will send you back to were you belong,” I said.

“Oh really well come and try I’m waiting right here,” she said

“Ok here I coming be prepare I won’t hold back anymore,” I said

I started to run around her in a circle while using quick step. Just before I was about to turn in to a demon what Zorlo and Tsukineko had been trying to said to me at that moment I seen Zorlo turn in to flame. He had been set on fire. But he quick put it out and I was about to go to my demon form.

"Good, I agree with you completely with the exception of one thing. You should never give up you life satisfy anothers wish to kill you. Let us stop this battle. Ours and theirs. Even though we have no wish to kill each other they have every wish to." I said to Zorlo as the flame on my claws went out. I was glad to stop fighting. About 10 minutes longer and I would have in no shape to move much less hunt for my dinner tonight. I was ravenous.

"Ok then, Tsukineko. The sooner we end this battle the better, but first we'll need to convince those two that this battle has no meaning." Zorlo replied. We both turned to see Nikudemon circling Celia, looking for an opening while Celia stood still ready to counterattack when Nikudemon came in the attack. As I watched Nikudemon circle around a chill went down my back. Through my left eye I could see currents of magic being radiated from the pendent Nikudemon was wearing slowly wrap themselves around his body. Something big was going to happen soon and I was probably the only one that knew other than Nikudemon himself.

"Zorlo." I said, glad that my voice didn't betray my fear. "I'll stop Celia. I can use my shields to stop her and her magics. Go after Nikudemon and try to stop him. Be careful, Zorlo. Something big is going to happen to Nikudemon soon and chances are, it's not going to be good for any of us. Let's go." I said as I took off at a run and jumped, landing inbetween Celia and Nikudemon. I could see the pendent radiating more magical energy at an even faster rate as Nikudemon stopped circling and stared at me with anger.

"What's the matter, Tsukineko? Are you two demons finally deciding to gang up on me? It won't work." He said, his face showing no worry at all.

"No, I didn't come there to gang up on you. I came here to stop you two from fighting." I said as Zorlo ran and stood before Nikudemon ready to stop him from fighting as well. Knowing I would most likely be on the receiving end of Celia's spells now I readied myself to cast my Smashing Sheild to absorb her spells. It was at this time saw with dread a pulse of magically energy come from Nikudemon's body and knew that whatever it was that he was planning just got finished preparing.

I kept running around but then Zorlo got in front of me “get out of my way I going to kill aggg no not now Zorlo for your own good get out of the way I’m about to,” I transformed right there in fron of them all. I when to push Zorlo out of the way but my demon form was to weak I could now only hold him at bay when I went to attack him. “No Zorlo get out the way I can’t stay in this form for long.” I scream at him but he did not move out of the way.

“Nikudemon I don’t know what just happen to you body but I can’t let you though"Zorlo kept me at bay but I knew I had to find away by him.

“Zorlo look if I don’t kill that demon know she will kill us,”I said while look at him hope that he would listen but I see his eyes they were on a mission.

"Zorlo get out of, “but I started to past out" Zorlo get some food I need food and I need it now,”I finally past out and fall to the ground.

Nikudemon had just transformed right before my eyes. Although I was unsure of what he had transformed into or why he had passed only a few minutes after transforming, I did heed his last request. He wanted food, but I was hesitant to leave because if Celia went mad and killed him and Tsukineko then I would have made an even bigger mistake. I trusted Tsukineko to keep her at bay and stop her from killing anyone.

I ran into the forest in search of food, I moved my feet as fast as I could muster to find something, anything to feed Nikudemon, but something found me. As I was running, I saw a rather large boar, the boar had massive tusks and was larger than normal boar’s. I knew that this boar would be a suiting meal for Nikudemon.

The boar charged me, but I simply moved out of the way and allowed it to crash into a tree. The tree had an indent, and the pig was slightly harmed, but nothing critical. It charged me again and again I dodged it. After the creature hit the tree this time, I moved in and thrusted my sword through its neck and then broke its neck by pulling my blade out of the beast and slamming the hilt down on the back of its neck. The beast was dead and I now had food for Nikudemon. I began to leave when I heard a group of thuds. I wandered towards the sound, draw in by what it was.

I looked to see two large creatures were clearing trees in the woods. These two monsters were larger, and powerful looking. I noticed that one was small and red, and the other was large and blue. The red monster looked very uniquely, he had a big, bald top of his head, his face was what was strange though. His face seemed to have the figure of a bat engraved on it, the wings of the bat were his ears, the body his nose and there were two slits in the bat for his eyes. The red monsters eyes were blue, and in his right hand, he held a map. Across his body, he had bazaar ritual scarring that was colored blue on the sides of his muscles and was colored black down the center of his body. The blue demon looked the same with the exception of his scars were red, and the one through his chest was white. His face was the same, except his eyes were red and that he was taller than the other demon. He to had a map, and I listened in to see what they were talking about.

“I cants believes it” said the red demon, “we done trekked tru da whole place were da map tolds us tos, and we didn’t find nothin.”

The blue demon said, “We traveled fo three weeks south and didn’t find nofin except that village we destroyed, and even den we didn’t find anyfing good.”

The red demon spoke again, “Maybe we’s headed in da wrong direction.”

By this point I was thinking to myself, “Damn these demons are stupid.”

The blue demon spoke again, “We got dese treasure maps from dat city we destroyed a few years ago, and we still haven’t found no treasure, we haven’t even found da crossroads the map be talkin about.”

The talk of treasure had me intrigued, so I listened on.

“Yeah, I is still wonderin why dem humans never got dese treasure for demselves. They had da map, dey could have gotten da treasures for us so dat we could haves it.” The red demon said with a hint of anger.

“Dem humans couldn’t has gotten da treasure if deys wanted, de only reason dey got dese maps was dat the demon lord’s body was found outside dere village.” The blue demon exclaimed.

The red demon started to speak again, “These maps says they will take us to the greatest treasure ever, but we haven’t found nofing thats anyfing like treasure, only more humans to make squishies out of.”

I now knew what the maps contained, they contained the way to legendary treasure, they showed you where the treasure was hidden, all you had to do was get there and claim it. The next thing the blue demon said worried me though.

The blue demon said, “We’s should head for dat village we destroyed years ago and head norf from ders.”

The red demon said, “I’ms gettins somes sleeps first, I’s is tired and I’s wants to sleep, so we’s is sleepen heres tonight.”

The blue demon agreed, but I was now scared for those who I had left at the ruins of that village. I rushed back, running with everything I had and still holding the boar, as I remembered that Nikudemon still needed food.

I had an hour run before I would get back to the village, from what I had seen, I was worried, I had to warn Tsukineko and Nikudemon, we were in danger. The boar slowed me down, but Nikuvillian and Tsukineko would surely love the food I had gotten for them, my problem was I had forgot to grab myself food. I ran as hard as I could, the tree branches cut my skin and left more wounds then my battle with Tsukineko, but I had to get back, this news was important!!!

After seeing what happened to Nikudemon I learned that, that was out of my hands. I now focused my attention on the obstacle ahead of me.

Seeing his stance and the focus of his energy I knew he would be prepared for any magic I threw at him. So I changed my tactics. I knew what I was planning to do wouldn’t kill him or do that much damage even, but I was prepared to do whatever it took to defeat him.

“You may be part demon, but you won’t be spared my wrath.” I said with a tone of loathing. I took a deep breath and gripped my staff. What I was going to do wouldn’t be what I would normally do, but as many say “desperate times call for desperate measures.”

I sprinted across the clearing and hit Tsukineko square in his stomach with my staff. He had generated a shield, but my hit had been not how and where he had expected so the shield didn’t help him much. I stood straight up seeing how surprised he was to see what I had done. I got prepared to strike again, but this time he knew what I was doing and simply dodged. I knew that I couldn’t use that anymore and would be forced to do magic. Although I it wouldn’t be wise to do that against him.

“I shall fight you for all I’m worth. I just hope that you put up a good enough fight.” I started. “Just don’t try to convince me that not all humans are bad or anymore of that c***.”

It wasn’t like me to get even slightly angered or even moderately angered, much less to curse. It was something about these people that made me actually express my emotions. I didn’t want that to happen though…..

"I know it wouldn't help me. I can understand why you hate humans just as I know why humans attempt to hunt and kill demons. I know anything I say to you is basically useless now so I'll say this. If you fight me I'll disable you and make you listen." I said, not feeling right about attacking a demon. I knew I would have to convince her to stop with my claws and decided to try out a quick attack like the ones I saw nikudemon do. I knew she wouldn't like this.

Without warning I shot forward at full speed while I infused light elemental energy from my necklace into my claws surrounding them in a bright white energy and shot past her leaving four semi-deep slashes across her cheek. As I skidded to a halt and turned around she turned and shot a dark ball of energy. Too late did I remember I should have cast Smashing shield instead of Wall. As the ball hit my Wall shield it first cracked, then shattered as the ball flew past just barely missing me. I knew that mistake cost me. She didn't hit me, but she still injured me by shattering Wall. I could feel the circle-shaped wound bleed a circle of blood onto my chest and through my shirt. She got me good without knowing she did. I knew that from this point on to only block her magic with Smashing shield.

"Good try!" I said to her, knowing she would notice the result of the backlash of my Shield shattering in a moment. "You must realized that you didn't hit me. You did break my Wall shield which is more than Zorlo could say."

"Well, I may have missed you, but I'm not blind. Breaking your shield still hurt you and that's fine too. I'll wear you down through your shields!" She yelled as she fired another blast at me.

"If that's what you think you'll have to find something else to do that with." I said as her blast hit my Smashing shield and was harmlessly absorbed by it. The blast fueled the shield and slightly revitalized me as well. "A powerful blast Celia, but no where near what it would take to break this shield. I'm not even sure an attack capable of breaking this shield even exists. So, I'll ask you one more time. Stop this battle and stand down. There's no need for blood shed at this time and I have no wish the hurt you." I said as i looked at the cut across her chest and the slashes across the side of her face. I was sure she wouldn't back down so I drew my short sword with my left hand and held to like a twin dagger user would, infusing it with light elemental energy and stood ready for almost anything she could do physically or magically.

“Light……. The most pure of things………. How fitting that I be the one to crush it.” I said glowering at him. “This has gone on long enough. As much as light can illuminate darkness, darkness can snuff out light.”

I stared off into the distance. “Ha. It seems we shall be joined soon from what I can tell.” I wiped the blood from the cuts on my face. I stared down the crimson liquid that was previously on my face. To me that symbolized weakness. The inability to act when I needed it most.

I heard a rustle in the nearby forest. “It’s almost time. Are you ready?” I asked Tsukineko. “Because you better be….. Unless you have a wish to dead of course.”

As the rustle in the leave grew louder I took a quick breath and dashed across to where the noise was. I could see Tsukineko react to my sprint from the corner of my eye, but he wasn’t important. I took my staff and stabbed what was in the bush then whipped it out with a large circular motion.

“Just as I thought.” I said as I saw Zorlo lying there weakly. He was holding a large boar. “Are you really that hungry? Humans are such weak creatures.”

“I…. brought…. Food….”Zorlo said slowly. He seemed weak and seemed about to collapse. He struggled to get up and forced a weak smile.

“Cough…. Cough…. Give it to Nikudemon…” He said before his knees gave in and he tumbled to the ground. Just as that happened two louder noises stirred in the direction Zorlo came in. Suddenly two demons emerged from the bushes and I flinched. I had heard of these demons and took a step back from them. This was getting too dangerous for me.
