Dead End-ified (1-on-1)

OoC:Chu's link is in my sig.The battle will be in a canyon,it goes on forever,and there are caves that aren't deep at all.There are roots sticking out,big ones,the size and length of killer whales.

BiC:Chu wandered through the woods,searching for his first opponent in the Battle Arena.He had been looking for a few days now,but with his energetic personality,he wasn't tired at all."Heh,I guess I'll take it easy.It won't be too long until I find my first enemy here.Oh,wait,I haven't seen a single person here..."Chu said to himself,relaxing his head on his arms behind his head.He wasn't paying attention to his surroundings,though.He didn't even have his eyes open.This was a mistake,for the was a huge canyon just paces away.

Of course,he fell down.

"Oh crap!"He was falling about thirty kilometers per hour.Luckily,the trees were very old and thick roots came out on the side of the canyon.He made the hand signs to create the Leaf Tornado,slowing down his fall so that he could land on the root without twisting his ankles with the velocity of the fall."These are some big roots.I think the fat pig back home could stand on them without snapping 'em.Maybe I'll go deeper down."And that he did,finding a rope along the way.This gave him even more enthusiasm in the idea.There must be someone down there.This rope isn't that worn out.

He continued until he reached the bottom,were there was a village nearby."Hey!There must be people there!"Chu ran over to the gate ,only to find a hug guard blocking the gate."Hello,sir."He said as he walked by the huge man,who grabbed him the moment he entered.

"No.Travellers can only enter if they find one of the hidden springs and bring some water back." The guard spoke with a deep,low voice.

"I guess I'll go look for it later,then."Chu walked off to find a spring."There must be others searching for the springs.Maybe other warriors in search of a resting place.This would put him at a great advantage,he had lots of energy left.Deeper into the canyon,Chu saw a shadow zip by.A shadow holding a sword!

Tsuukai was getting agitated. After almost dying to get down to this small town, the guard wouldn’t even let him in. Not wanting to cause a commotion by killing this man Tsuukai decided to go look for these hidden springs. Now he was lost in the endless catacombs of the canyon and very little food he was just trying to find a way out of this hell.

Sitting sown two rest the hooded man saw a small figure in the distance. Seeing that it was a person he decided to rob this man and take his money and hopefully hidden spring water. Noticing a indent in the cave wall Tsuukai ran over to it hoping not to be seen. Unfortunately, the young boy saw him.

“Come out from your hiding spot I see you,” The boy said to the stranger.

“Why?” The cloaked man replied.

“I wish to see your face,” Chu replied with a smirk.

“If it is my face you wish to see you will be severely disappointed, for all you will see is death,” Tsuukai replied in a chilling voice.

“Why are you so confident in your skills? hiding and cowering is not something I would hold high,” The young man snapped back.

“HOLD YOUR TONGUE! If I where you I would watch what you say around people. You see I have killed more people then vast hell can hold on my quest. What makes a kid like you think your any better then those men.” The man in black answered back.

“I am neither blind nor crippled.” The young boy replied mockingly.

“Your tongue deceives you boy. Comments and jokes gets little kids like you no wheres.” Tsuukai replied once more.

“They will lead me to your death. That I know for sure.” Chu replied with a hint of a smile.

“I have fought vampires, and demons, Mages and magi, Alchemists and demi gods. They all have failed to kill me, but still you persist that you can why continue I will enjoy killing you.” Tsuukai said is a voice that Satan himself would fear. Finally showing himself and standing in Chu’s path sword in hand.

Chu wasted no time and drew his own sword keeping his good special weapons for later.

"You think you're making yourself sound tough by telling me who you have killed?That won't make me lose confidence at all if that's what you're trying.I won't back down,and I won't lose!"Chu gave this cool yet super corny speech,weapon at hand."Let's see how good you really are!" Tsuukai came at Chu with a good triple thrust-attack that nearly got him.

"I see you're a skilled fencer,let's find out how you do against my style!"Chu took his sword with two hands,held it over his head,and ran forward slashing up,down,left,and right."Oh,brother.You can litteraly see the pattern in that move!"Tsuukai came in trying to disarm Chu,but this 'ammature' swordplay was just an act."Got yah!"He dodged left and took a good kick at Tsuukai's side.He didn't get pushed far,but it left a few openings.

Aiming at every weak point at the time,Chu redied up a smoke bomb and three wooden kunais.He ran around Tsuukai,just at the rim of the smoke.He could hear him coughing in the smoke.Chu threw the kunais from three different locations around Tsuukai,hoping for a hit.Unfortunately,He jumped up out of the smoke in time to get away onto one of the ledges on the canyon walls.Chu followed onto the roots.He put away his katana and pulled out his bamboo staff,for longer range attacks would be helpful at this height.

"You'll need great speed and balance to beat me up here!"Chu called to Tsuukai as he led him across the canyon,striking each other every so often.There was a large rock pillar between the two sides of the canyon,Chu decided to hop on and have the high ground advantage,but Tsuukai insisted on stayin on the sides,so he grabbed Chu's leg and whipped him against a root."Don't run,fight!"

He gave a powerful sweep of his sword,but Chu blocked with the staff.There was enough force to push him off onto a stone sticking out of the wall."Eat Leaf Tornado!"He shot an onslaught of leaves towards Tsuukai,knowing that the attack would hit.

OoC: sorry for the delay I have been busy.

BiC:

Flying high into the air Tsuukai tried his hardest to grab onto something to get him out of the tornado. Finally the tornado stopped and he was thrown into the canyon wall. He smashed into the wall with such force the roots below him began to shake. Only having a split second to think he grabbed his hidden dagger and plunged it into the wall. Luck seemed to be on his side because he was at a soft part and the dagger easily stabbed in. using the wall to propel him he jumped and landed on a branch not to far away.

Now standing about ten feet above and to the left of his opponent he took out his bow and began to fire. Three arrows missed and one just scraped the young boys leg. This gave Tsuukai enough time to jump down where Chu was standing. Drawing his blade with his left hand he look at the young boy up and down. Seeing such a small kid made him wonder why he was having trouble getting rid of him.

ENOUGH The cloaked man thought to himself as he reached for his belt. He knew it was time to use a trick he had not used for almost five years. With his right hand he took out four small capsules one of which would create a blinding flash of light the others did something so advanced the same technology would not be used for almost two thousand years. Throwing one capsule at the ground caused a flash of light and Chu had to cover his eyes, however when he opened his eyes he did not see one opponent he saw four. Each one was exactly the same as the other and they where surrounding him.

Chu surprised and confused tried to attack the one directly in front of him. But as his sword met it’s head the cloaked man disappeared. As he stood there wondering what had happened an arrow to the back broke his chain of thought. . He knew now that only one was real but which one? Taking out his Kunai knife he tossed it at the one behind him but it also was gone.

Only two remained at they where closing in. Every step they took only confused Chu more. Taking a desperation chance he swung at one hoping for the best. Only it was the wrong one knowing now who his true opponent was Chu tried to turn around and swing but was caught by the strong hand of Tsuukai. The shadowy figure raised Chu’s feet off the ground to the point his head was above the man’s who was holding him.

“You imbecilic little child. Did I not warn you about what I could do? But instead you trusted your self and look what that has gotten you. If you where but a bit older you would have noticed the real me still had cuts from your attack where the others did not. So feebleminded you kids are always rushing in before thinking. Now you are about to plunge towards your death so young I almost feel bad about killing you. But for one so young you posses a lot of talent I could have used you and you would have been like a god when we where done. Now you must face the fires of hell for your insolence.” Tsuukai spoke into the choking face of the young boy.

Walking towards the edge he tossed the kid off thinking he would die. He did not know that the boy had a plan.

Falling rapidly, Chu had to think fast. He pointed his bamboo staff to one of the canyon walls, and extended it so he could push back to the place where Tsuukai was. Holding two shuricken, Chu came close to him, jumped up, and the staff ket extending until Tsuukai was hit. It blew him back, and Chu whipped the shuricken at him from point-blank range. Unfortunately, Tsuukai turned around and broke them with his bracelet things. He drew his sword, and took a few good thrust towards Chu. He dodged them all with ease,but the last one was faster and had more strength to it.

"You're really trying, aren't you? Have you ever considered-" Chu was interrupted by another stab, this time just getting his arm. This led to another rally of attacks, coming from both fighters. They started to slow down, and used more power than speed in their attacks. Tsuukai got his sword past Chu's staff, but he twirled it around and smacked Tsuukai's face with it three or four times. Back on the canyon walls jumping from root to root, the battle seemed to repeat again and again until Chu's Berserk rage kicked in. He put the bamboo staff away and drew his katana, then started slashing wildly.

Tsuukai was hit a few times, but closer to the end, he manged to counter a few of the blows.

OoC: Sorry I havent replied in a while I was waiting till after the whole mod and lee thing because I thought it was real and was afraid all my hard work would be deleted.

BiC:

Slice after slice the young boy attacked trying with all his might to take the cloaked hero down. A lot of the blows where blocked but some just nicked the purple haired thief. He was inching closer and closer to the edge with each step he knew more and more soon he would fall. Desperately thinking of a plan, He was knocked off the edge by a blow more powerful then most people twice the kids’ age could produce. Mind you he was more then twice the kids age, and with age come experience and wisdom something that kid had yet to see. As he fell his mind raced almost as fast as his body fell.

Now almost at a rock ledge sticking out he thought of a plan. Turning on his boots he shoot upwards and from there jumped above another higher rock. He continued this till he was back at the main root hovering about fifteen feet up and five feet off it.

Looking up in amazement the young man exclaimed, ”What you can fly to. Is there no limit to what you can do?”

“Sarcastic one aren’t you. I gather you mistook me for some old fool bragging about fake happenings, So do you see now the truth of what I say.”

“You old fool I was merely amazed you could hide this all from me. Now come down in fight you can’t hit me from there.”

“That is what you think” Tsuukai muttered as he took out his capsule. This one was different from the other because it had attacking power and could be very use full when the time arrived to use it. Throwing it down the capsule exploded in a burst of fire as it hit Chu. The blast sent him back a few feet and toppling downwards.

Taking a roll of the dice Chu used his staff and extended both sides at the canyon walls. This succeeded in stopping him from falling but now he was a sitting duck. Looking upwards he saw the shadowy man standing above him but now he was holding a bow! No place to run Chu was hanging there hoping he would miss. As Tsuukai fired he did not hit Chu but he did not miss he was aiming for the rock that held one end of his staff in place. This was knocked out of the way causing not only the staff to fall but the boy as well.

The speed of falling increased to where he could barely breath but as luck would have it his staff that was pointing downward and still quite long caught onto something and leaned to the side. This allowed Chu to jump of onto a branch but now he had a big problem. The man a long ways above him saw what happened and aimed his bow. Chu had a long climb ahead of him and the arrows raining down on him didn’t help the matters.

With about a dozen arrows going down at him at high speeds, Chu knew this would hurt if he tried to take the blow. He pulled out six smokebombs and threw them towards the arrows, but one was thrown and wasn't exploding. It was a dud. The others were enough to stop the arrows, and the one that wasn't blocked didn't come close enough to Chu for a hit. He jumped to another wall, kicked off, and continued until he was on level with Tsuukai once again. Tsuukai suddenly dissapeared, and Chu was hit in the arm. Tsuuka was right behind Chu, and his dagger was dripping blood. Chu turned around and made a fan of shuriken, getting Tsuukai's back. They both whipped out their blades, and went at it again. Chu disarmed Tsuukai, but he replied with a kick to the face, and Chu was sent down once again.

This time, he wasn't going back up. He made the hand signs for Leaf Tornado, and slowed his fall. He landed on the canyon floor, and Tsuukai followed diwn the roots. At the same time, he was firing arrows at Chu, but he hid in an indent in a wall. Tsuukai laned, took out his sword, and swiped for Chu's head, but he ducked and rolled behind Tsuukai, who swung his arm back and flung Chu across the canyon. He got up, and Tsuukai was in his face with his sword, about to take a good shot. Chu took another smoke bomb and threw it at Tsuukai's face, and found a chance to escape. He took a side roll, and Tsuukai was swinging his sword in all possible directions. The smoke cleared, and he dashed for Chu and kneed him back, and grabbed his shoulder. He started to drag Chu on the ground and threw him at a wall. It made anoher dent, and rocks collapsed on him.

"Let's see you get out of this one, boy!" Tsuukai called out, laughing. A boulder came flying at him while he gloated and pinned him on the wall. Chu crawled out of the pile, with his bamboo staff in it's smaller form. He ran at Tsuukai, and went to his face. "Ow." He bonked him in the head with the stem, and Tsuukai simply laughed. "Come on, boy. Was that the part where I said 'ow'? Well, it didn't work. Try something like this!" He elbowed Chu in the stomach and knocked him down making a crater with the impact. "Here's a taste of your own tricks!" Tsuukai threw another exploding capsule, and Chu's ace was covered in soot. He coughed, and extended his staff.

"Alright, no more fooling around!" Chu ran towards Tsuukai, and rammed him with the staff. Tsuukai was blown back, but he readied an arrow in mid-air. He launched it at Chu, and got a direct hit. Chu collapsed, and Tsuukai smacked the wall, and fell face first on the ground. Chu got up, and grabbed the arrow, and blood dripped down his side. He ripped it out, and let out a yelp in pain. Tsuukai got up again, and prepared another arrow.

OoC:Sorry about always taking so long. I will try harder next time I promise.

The arrow whizzed passed Chu’s head just passing over his ear. Stepping back a few feet the young man readied himself for the next attack. An attack that didn’t seem to happen. Seething his blade Tsuukai let out a faint smile and leaped off the edge. Out of more surprise then worry the you boy ran over to the ledge to see what happened. Looking down into the black abyss Chu could not see what happened. Thinking his opponent had simply ran away he started back… only he did not know which way was back.

Looking around he did not recognize any thing around him. In the heat of the battle he did not keep track of here he came from. He looking up but could barely see the sky it seemed so far away yet so close.

“Too bad is the little boy lost.” A mocking voice echoed from somewhere in the canyon.

“What was that, Where are you come out of the shadows.” Chu replied back.

“Why so you can fight me again and get further lost. Silly little boy you hadn’t realized I kept track of where we where going the whole time. Now you are lost but I am not, So I can come back to pick up the remain from your starved corpse. That staff of yours would make a great addition to my collection up weapons.” The voice replied.

“So that was your plan all along to string me along and leave me to die. Why didn’t I think that was what your doing.” The boy answered back to the voice.

“You see that is the difference between great men and amazing men. Great men will win many battles and never stop till his opponent is dead. A amazing man will trick his opponent to commit his own demise. Now we see who is who.” Tsuukai answered back from the shadows.

“How do you know I wont find my way back?”

“they never do they always die. You think I would use this first on you. Fool I have used this trick many times and they always die. But enough of this I must be gone see you again, however you wont see me.” The voice said one last time.

Chu did not know what to do he was lost in this canyon and could not survive for long. And Tsuukai was laughing from wherever he was. This sadness only lasted a second however, because in the shadows he saw a brief light like that of metal. Knowing this had to be a sword he followed it.

After about an hour of following Tsuukai, the black rider stopped to rest. For chu this was a perfect time to strike.
