A Challenge (Safer)/ I'm BAAAAACK!
OoC: You and me, alone, for the first time ever. I don't want a piece of you, I want the whole thing. I want Tokumaru Kyô, The Heavenflame ****ing Samurai, at as high a power as you are comfortable using against me. I'm using Mirorin, him being the only fighter I deem competent enough to contend.
You and me Connor, help me REALLY come back to ZU. BiC: "Kyô... Tokumaru." The reclusive scholar muttered. "Where have i heard of this man?" Mirorin was poring over books in his small cottage far from civilization, looking for answers. Funny how this name interested him, it wasn't at all related to the current topic. ... It hit him like a train, Keir had mentioned the Heavenflame Samurai, Kyô. That was right, in the sphere... Blitz Keir had been talking to his wife--their relation, of course, was assumed, as it's validity was unimportant--about his travels and contests with Tokumaru Kyô. He'd been researching great powers throughout history, andand had come upon The Dragonic Overlord, Drago Universi. Researching Drago's life brought him to Naoru Aurashino, a trobulesome Demonified man who attained a piece of the Aliyuras, a sacred and powerful stone. Drago, before his iron-grip sureme ruler days, had joined forces with Tokumaru Kyô to contend with Naoru, and had only ended up sealing The Demon Lord in the Aliyuras. Kyô was an elusive man, not shown in his compliation of Great Powers throughout history. With a name like heavenflame and a history with both the Dragon Lord and the Wielder of the Sword, his history was obviously not common knowledge, but impressive nonetheless. Mirorin delved deeper, and the story unfurled. Tokumaru Kyô was born under the name Kyronei Aliyuras, explaining his interrelation with the stone. And it seemed his history included more than just his own false name, his son Alex had gone under the surname Solias when Tokumaru had supposedly died. They later met up which coincidentally happened when Blitz Keir found out about a darker part of The Heavenflame's past and went seeking Vengeance under the guise of justice. The information stops flowing here, as such events must be recent and perhaps not witnessed or retold. Perhaps this Tokumaru was nothing though, none of this actually tells of his power... That is what Mirorin chose to believe. ... Many months later, Mirorin had resumed his wild life, and was gambling in a high-dollar casino. He was rolling, playing craps, but something caught his eye before he threw the dice that time. "Snake Eyes!" The obese man running the table announced, and Mirorin looked back at the table to see two red dots staring up at him. He'd just lost a big bet, and wasn't in much of a mood for gambling anymore. Instead he turned to the attention grabber which he subconsciously blamed for the bad roll. Over by the sushi bar, a man in a kimono and straw hat was leaning against the counter sipping sake, completely ignoring the man wearing a police outfit heckling him. "Are you the Heavenflame Samurai?" The cop says. The Samurai slowly tilted his head forward then back to it's original position in way of a nod. "You're under arrest for the murder of Kiyojin Aego." The police officer notified, a slight edge in his voice. The samurai finally decided to open his mouth at this comment, and cooly states, "How can I be under arrest, officer, if you have no authority over me? That badge is obviously fake..." Enraged, the officer replies, "How dare you! You murdered Kiyojin, and for that, you deserve to die!" Pulling a shotgun, he fires at The Heavenflame's head, but the bullets melt in midair as if they were water in a sauna. "I do not wish for violence." "AAAAAARRGH! I'll kill you!" The fake officer screamed in frustration, grabbing for his sidearm, which happened to be a compact submachine gun. The samurai moved quickly and without thought, his blade flashing in the bright casino light and swishing through the neck of his assailant. Amazingly, the blade moved so fast that it was clean when it returned to it's sheath, as Tokumaru Kyô picked up his glass and left the building. Immediately, Mirorin saw his next gamble, and rushed out the door. "Wait! Kyô!" The Elemental yelled as he pushed through the door, having remembered this man from his research. "As a fellow warrior, I wish to see your skill!" The samurai turned around at the sound his name, but politely waited for the rest of the sentence, "So you wish to have a bout with me? Is that it?" "Very much so, if you don'-" "No. I have no reason for fighting." Tokumaru said flatly. "Don't consider it a fight, consider it a duel, among samurai." Mirorin tried. "Alright, always in for a good spar. But let us go somewhere less populated." Tokumaru sighed.
