Swords Crossed (SheikahOps, Technolink, FawksFire, Quark, Graceful_Sheik, Clark Kent)

Footsteps and laughter echoed off the tall walls on either side of the three as they made their way down the cobblestone street, drinks in hand. Daryn, Rio, and PhoenixFire made quite an unusual group just by their appearences and pasts, but were even more so due to their personalities. The massive buildings of Stormreach loomed overhead as the Guardians made their way back to the inn from the tavern, glowing mage lights common to the City of Magic lighting their way.

"Oh, come on now Phoenix." Daryn teased, grinning from ear to ear while nudging his comrade in the side. "She was acually pretty hot. And she was all over you! You could have had her in a heartbeat! Why didn't you?"

The firemage pushed the overeager warrior away, blushing a deep crimson. "I just wasn't interested."

"Oh, come on." Daryn chuckled, throwing an arm over Phoenix's gold and black shoulder. "Whats the real reason? And don't say she wasn't your type!"

"Do you like bread?" Phoenix asked the arachnid summoner casually, gripping his sword.

The grin disappeared from the eighteen year old's face, replaced by a look of utter confusion. "Why?"

"Because you're asking for a pair of toasted buns, spider-boy!" Phoenix said wickedly, drawing his sword a few inches from it's sheath. Daryn opened his mouth, a retort already on the tip of his tongue, when Rio stepped forward from behind the two and put a hand on each of their shoulders.

"Why are you arguing, friends?" The android asked, his helmet turning to look back and forth between the two. "Are we not comrades of the closest kind? We should not be fighting over simple taste in women! We should leave this city, and rejoin with our captains and the others, to adventure once again!"

"Yeah, ok." Daryn said sarcastically, rolling his eyes. "You're just upset because you're an android and can't-"

"Leave the city!" PhoenixFire interrupted, cutting off Daryn. "Do you remember the last foray those twins lead us into! Darkcloud dragged us all over the country for a month before he let us rest in a town! And even then, he wasn't very happy about it!"

"Yeah!" Daryn piped in agreeingly. The young man crossed his arms and scowled at the other two. "How do you all expect to catch up with the Deep Haven Chopper if we stop at every town along the way?" He said in his best impersation of the hawkbrother.

"He was right, you know." Rio pointed out, forestalling any more comments with a raised hand. "If we had stopped as much as you wanted to, we never would have caught him."

"Yeah, but still." Phoenix grumbled. "When you get the chance to take a break, you just go and give it up!"

Any forthcoming comment from Rio was forestalled as three large shadows appeared on the side of the building in front of them, preceeding the warriors that walked around the corner.

OoC: Not my best, but I'm not as familiar as I would like to be with their personalities. Any posting order is up to you six.

Ok, I'm just posting now (this will be deleted) trhat I just got a new dog so I can't post for a little bit. I will be using Rio, and I'll try to check up periodically, we need some BAK's to post here so we can get a feel for your character's style.

OoC: Okay, I believe the Knights are going to be Ronin, Dark, and Krush.

The cobble street made the three Knights' footsteps echo loudly, but Ronin hardly noticed. He was more amazed at the city itself. The buildings were gigantic, larger than any the thief had seen. Lights, created by magic rather than torches, lined the road. Apparently, this City of Magic was quite famed for it's accomplishments, and now Ronin knew why.

The others Knights that traveled with him were the robotic Dark, which Ronin didn't know what to make of him, and the kryptonian, Krush. "So why are we here again?" the kryptonain asked, appearing not to be as interested in the city as the boy was.

"We were sent here to find another group called named the Phoenix Guard. Kenjin wants us to fight them and test their strength," the android replied.

"You don't think they could be as strong as us?" Ronin questioned.

Krush simply laughed, "Yeah right. We're the strongest of them all. My fight with Tuariv proved that."

"I would never be overpowered by a group of meatbags," Dark simply stated. The thief arched an eyebrow at the metal warrior. That insult could aimed at him and Krush also.

But he's a Knight, also, he reminded himself, He wouldn't insult his own teammates, would he?

Teammates is just a word, the wind demon, Notus interrupted, It means nothing more than people who might help you in a battle. It doesn't mean they have to be loyal or friendly.

Yeah, but- Ronin started to argue but was stopped by the android.

"I am detecting life-forms ahead of us. Three of them, most likely this clan," Dark stated.

Krush cracked his knuckles, "It seems we get to fight them sooner than I expected." He grinned. Ronin didn't say anything but unsheathed his daggers, ready to fight with the BA Knights.

Having a little change of heart are we? Lol..... don't worry - I won't hold it against you.

P.S. Daryn is not gay. He just finds some characters interesting, like a scholar.

Still glaring at the humor-less android, Daryn was the las to notice the three travelers that stepped into the light. "Greetings!" called out the startled PhoenixFire, wary of attack. Of all the precautions the council of Stormreach had taken, gang violence was the one they forgot.

But no, these three couldn't have belonged to any gang. No matching clothes, or insignias. But then again, don't the aneome and the clownfish work together for a common goal? Daryn glanced at his compatriarts. Didn't they too represent symbiosis?

No matter, thought Daryn as he sized up each fighter. One was freakishly tall and.... metalic, with a few remnants of past battles scarring his face - he had no ears or mouth. how he survived in the world, Daryn didn't know, nor did he care.

Another was tall also - about half a foot shorter than his friend - and well built. He was unmistakenly humanoid - at least he had skin. He wore a dark cloakish aparale and an even darker shirt. The former showed off his unhuman muscles.

And the third - oh the third. The strangest of them all. What was a child doing, travelling with these two? From his looks, Daryn could tell he was a rouge. He stood a hand shorter than Daryn, and his hair was an exotic shade of green. He held twin green daggers, and was at least a stone smaller than Daryn, an excellent opponent, should the need arise.

"Phoenix Guard, I assume," offered the Strongman.

"Yes...." offered Rio. "And you are?"

"None of your concern." The large man kicked the legs out from under PhoenixFire. The fire mage went down with a groan, and the world stopped for a second. What the hell is he doing? Daryn thought as he drew he popped his stiff fingers - he couldn't afford a miscast spell. Time seemed to slow. Daryn's eyes met with the metallic man and the man who had kicked Phoenixfire. He locked their gazes for a moment, and then moved on to the rogue.

His eyes showed nothing of childhood. He had most likely grew up on the streets, and it had made him cold. However there was a hint of -

"Suppresive fire!" yelled Rio. He shot one of his ordinary bows at the other android. The moment was over. "Grab PF!" Rio shouted into Daryn's ears as he drew another arrow. The strongman rushed at the temporrily disabled mage and grabbed him first.

"Now the fun begins," daryn whispered to himself.

Alright, I believe it's the Knights turn to post, which is why I haven't yet. I've been waiting for them.

Okay I'm not taking part in this, but Sheikah is in the Din Tournament. Using Daryn in that. Also Clark Kent has been banned for being Links Gaurdian.

I know that Sh'Ops is in the tourny. But that doesn't mean that he can't post in here too. And I'll get Power Shot to get someone to replace Clark. Please delete the OoC posts.

Indeed, but he hasn't posted at all in the Tourney. And now I see that he puts this ahead of the Tourney.

Ok, he has now posted in the tourny, and it doesn't really matter if he posts in here before there. And Clark only had a temp ban. He's back now, so there's no need to replace him. And please delete your posts.
