Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
Ooc: ok this battle between my Valion and graceful sheik’s Ronin. As a twist you can use two character’s, just for the fun of it. I will be using Cyno as well.
Bic: Valion looked at the church. It had been nearly a year since his battle there and it was nearly finished, looking better than it had done before. It was bigger than last time, and the bells had been added to the spire of it. “Why are we here? It just a church, nothing else. Ok so what you’re an angel, doesn’t make you responsible for the rebuilding of this place,” Cyno said behind, knawing on a chicken leg. If only he knew why… Valion thought to himself, and started on the road into the town. He would try to see if there was anything he could do to help speed up the building of the church, since its destruction was his fault. The ice elf struggled to keep up, juggling five pieces of food at once so he could catch up. Valion kept a steady pace through the streets, paupers littering each side of the road. “Please kind sir, spare me a copper coin so that I might eat tonight,” one wailed. Valion reached inside his pocket, bringing a small bag of money, and checked inside. “Im sorry, but all I have are these, here’s four,” Valion said gently, and flicked four golden coins into the man’s cup. The man looked in amazement at the shining coins, and watched the man go. “That would have paid for a good meal, why did you give the coins to him,” Cyno muttered, chewing on an apple. “Because the poor need more, and from the looks of it you already have enough food,” Valion grumbled in reply, quickening his pace. After a few more minutes they reached the church, the dark red brick walls clean and hardly any marks. Making the sign of the cross, Valion headed for the door. Unsure, Cyno made the sign of the cross, and followed. “Are you sure we are allowed in? If anyone remembers that it was you, then we have to be gone, Im not staying round when the angry mob arrives,” Cyno questioned, but it went unanswered as Valion pushed the doors open, revealing the inner part of the church. It had been greatly modified from the last one, there were less pews, and three other doors leading out of the church, though they were all bard by wooden planks. Feeling peace, Valion sat down in the end pew and began praying. “Why now, I was just going to get a drink,” the ice elf moaned, and sat down next to the cyber angel, finishing off the last of his food. |

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
OoC: Okay, I'll use Ronin and Tanith in this fight. Be warned, it's the first time I've used two characters at once so I might not do too well.
Ronin and Tanith walked into the town, weary from a few days of continuous travel. "Are you sure you know where you are going, Ronin?" the female asked. "Yeah, I've been here before," Ronin replied confindantly and let her around. Tanith had met him in the previous village. A demonic power surrounded him but the thief seemed nice enough. Sorrow filled his eyes most of the time and reminded Tanith of herself. At some protest, she had convinced the boy that they should travel together. Ronin felt like the little brother she never had. The boy led her to a small food stand where she purchased a small container of water and an apple for each of them. He took a bite of the apple, "It sure feels good to get food without any trouble." "I'm sure it does," the knight replied. Tanith had actually caught Ronin stealing some food in the previous village. Fortunately, she didn't turn him in or anything. She said she understood what it was like to live a hard life. Ronin felt protected around her, though he wanted her to leave him alone, mainly because Notus was interested in a sword she carried with her. Anything that interested the wind demon was sure to cause trouble for that person. The two wandered around the town for a little while, finishing their food and drinking some water, making sure to leave some for another trip. Finally, they passed by a large church that was under construction. "They have just started building a chapel in this town?" Tanith wondered. Ronin didn't say anything, he knew exactly why they were rebuilding. Notus chuckled, That was a fun fight. The boy just rolled his eyes. Then Tanith started walking into the church. "Hey, what are you doing?" he asked. "I've made a point to visit every chapel I come to," she stated and entered. He followed. The inside still needed work but would provide some sense of serenity. But there were already two people here. One was an elf who seemed bored waiting in this place while the other was a man with a black overcoat. The angel! the wind demon hissed. Angel? Oh! Ronin realized. He walked up to Tanith who had sat in one of the back pews, "We have to go." She looked at him with her crystal blue eyes, "Why?" "We just have to," he stated with urgency. She stood up and gave him a questioning glance, then directed towards the other two who were now getting up. The cyber-angel looked at the woman then at Ronin, his eyes widening. Ronin shrank back, Oh no, not again.

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
There was a sudden creak as the door opened, but Valion didn’t pay any attention to it, instead he kept praying. If whatever had entered was going to try to get them to leave, Cyno would probably handle it.
Two figure approaching, one has similar energy patterns to one you have met before, in this very place even. R.V said suddenly, waking Valion from his prayer. At this comment the angel turned round to see who it was. One of the figures was a woman, clothed in a red coat, black leggings and black shirt. The other was a boy that Valion recognized instantly, he was the one who had caused the destruction of the first church in this town. Valion jumped up instantly, his right going for his sword hilt. He crossed the gap between the two of them with a few steps, and grabbed the boy by the scruff of his shirt, pinning him to the wall. “Did you com back to demolish the second church as well demon?” Valion shouted, bringing his sword out with a swift fluid movement. But before he could strike at the boy, he felt a cold edge against the back of his neck. “Put the boy down now,” said the woman, her katana drawn. Valion fixed eyes with the boy. “Does she know what you did?” Valion asked, not giving in to the woman’s command. “No,” the boy mumbled, casting his eyes downwards. The angel shook his head. “Were you going to get her to help you destroy this place!” the angel shouted. “I was not going to destroy this place!” the boy retorted. Valion had had enough, he was going to finish the job that should have been done a while ago. He raised his sword above his head, intent to kill. The blade in his neck suddenly stopped moving about, and there was a whooshing sound, and Valion felt a leg hit him, knocking over and making him drop the boy. Before he could get up, the blade was pressed to the front of his neck, the woman looking at him with cold eyes. “I should kill you for threatening this child,” she said coldly. As soon as she stopped talking there was a blade against her neck, ice cold. Cyno had woken from his light slumber at the sudden drop in temperature in the room. Instantly seeing the danger, he had sprung into action, bringing out the small dagger and transforming it into scythe. “Don’t make threats against my friend… beautiful lady,” Cyno said, his voice filling with charm at the last part. With a swift movement he brought his leg up into her stomach, knocking her back into the boy. “Never can go anywhere without getting into a fight can you?” Cyno said dryly, helping the angel up. The two faced the other pair, holding their weapons out in front of them. “Dibs on the attractive female,” Cyno muttered, twirling the scythe round in his hands. Valion rolled his eyes, the ice elf had an annoying habit of thinking of woman at the most dangerous time. Nodding in reply, the two attacked at the exact same moment. |

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
"You mind telling me what happened?" Tanith asked with a quick glance at the boy.
He sighed, "Long story that didn't end well." He brought up his twin daggers in a defensive stance as the cyber-angel rushed at him with his long sword. He came clashing down with it, Ronin rolling out of the way. His strength wouldn't match Valion's, the previous encounter gave him that information. "Look, I didn't come here for a fight," he tried to explain. "My friend seems to have an affinity with religion, too. Besides," he added dryly, "You were the one who blew up the church." The angel swung again, "Only to destroy you, foul demon!" Ronin grimaced as he attacked again, forcing the thief to the side. But then the holy warrior dropped to the ground and sweeped, knocking Ronin's feet out from under him. "Die," Valion announced and stabbed down with the long sword. The wind boy rolled to the side and used one of his spells, quietly speaking, "Yana." A small gust blew the cyber-angel off balance, buying enough time for Ronin to get back on his feet. ~ Tanith circled around her new 'opponent', studying the weapon he wielded. It is made of ice, but doesn't melt, she observed. Right now, this man had formed it into a scythe. It vaguely reminded her of Death's scythe, though this one hardly fit that profile. "I have no reason to fight," she stated, hoping to avoid a fight an leave. "Sorry, but no one puts a sword to my friend's throat. Of course, if you have other things in mind..." he winked at her. She blinked back. He wasn't really serious, was he? The knight didn't respond, instead held Soul Eater in a usually defense. "Not much of a conversationist, are we? Heh, you're just my type," he said with flattery. The female just stared, This is ridiculous. He twirled the icy scythe, "Well then, in that case..." He suddenly darted towards her. The almost-clear blue weapon collided with the crimson red blade. He danced around and struck at her side, only to find that blocked, too. "You're pretty quick to keep up with me," he commented. This time, for a little fun, Tanith winked back at him, "I have to be." OoC: You know, you've turned into a pretty good BAer. Glad to have you as a friend. ![]()

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
Ooc: thanks, you’re a good BAer/friend as well.
![]() Bic: the boy struck at Valion with his daggers, but the angel raised his left arm in defence. The daggers connected with the metal, making a high pitched clang as they did, making the wind boy step back, giving Valion the perfect opportunity to bring the boy back down. With a quick sweep of his legs, Valion kicked out swiftly at the boy, knocking him to the ground. Before the boy had any chance to react to the quick attack, Valion brought down his fist into the boy, winding him, and giving Valion the chance to get up. “Trick me once, shame on you, trick me twice shame on me…” the angel muttered, pressing the edge of his blade against the boy’s neck. The boy turned to face him, his grey eyes locking with the angel’s yellow and red one. Valion raised his sword to finish off the boy, hoping to finish the battle. “Yana,” the boy muttered as the cyber angel brought down his sword . The wind wasn’t sufficient enough to actually move Valion, but it caused his aim to move, and the silver sword embedded itself in the stone floor next to the boys head. ~ The woman was toying with Cyno, but he didn’t mind, the battle could take as long as it wanted, as long as he was talking to the woman. He struck out again, aiming for the spot between her shoulder blades, but his weapon was blocked by hers again. “You’re a quick one, what’s your name?” the ice elf said, locking blades with the woman. He noticed every feature of her face, her blue eyes, nearly the same as Cyno’s, her olive skin. The ice elf grinned again, this woman would be a challenge for him. “Tanith,” the woman replied, forcing forward with her sword. With a swift movement, the ice elf knocked her feet from under her, catching the woman before she hit the floor. “Cyno,” the elf said coolly, and kissed her on the cheek. Tanith was surprised the attack, but took the chance and brought her sword into Cyno’s stomach, making him drop her. Stepping back a few feet, the elf tried to regain his breath, panting. “The kiss was worth the pain,” the ice elf wheezed as the woman got up. With a swift movement he changed his scythe into a staff, twirling it round like a baton. |

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
Ronin, barely avoiding death by skewering, jumped to his feet as the cyber-angel yanked his sword out of the stone. Shards of granite followed, a hole left in the once-perfectly carved floor. "It seems you're the one causing the most damage," the thief commented. Valion said nothing, his face was shaped with determination and anger. He set the long sword up in and re-rushed the boy. Quickly whispering, "Tentarin," Ronin levitated himself, hoping to now dodge the majority of the angel's attacks.
Instead of trying to confront the holy warrior straight on, he lurched backwards from the latest strike and retreated into a row of pews. "Don't think you can run," Valion stated and went after Ronin. However, the larger fighter had a little bit of mobility problem in the tight aisle, something the thief was hoping for. Now he went on the defensive and struck out against the cyber-angle. The weapons rang their battle song, but he was ready to add a twist. In the next blow, Ronin once again used his Yana spell. But this time it was on his own dagger, covering the blade with a small, green whirlwind. The sword didn't connect with Fujin, the wind pushed it back. Taking advantage of the twinge of surprise, Ronin used Vaya at tried to attack Valion's midsection. But, out of nowhere, a metal wings hit him against the side, knocking the young thief over the back of the pew and into the aisle behind. Okay, definitely have to watch out for that next time. ~ Tanith studied her new foe. He seemed quite fit, though his pale skin made him appear unhealthy, even sickly. Though, she realized he was none of that. The icy elf twirled the new weapon he had created, a chilly staff, obviously enjoying the ability to transform the ice. He hardly seemed serious about this battle, his little...feat told her that. "Do we really have to fight?" she asked. If there was a way a battle could be avoided, the knight would surely follow it. "What, you don't like me?" Cyno asked back, merriment played in his light blue eyes. "Besides, it looks like our friends are having quite the battle." The female looked over her shoulder to see the man pulling his sword out of the floor and the boy casting a spell on himself. I've got to help Ronin, she decided and started to make a move over to him. However, the elf suddenly went on the offensive, his staff striking down on her. It was blocked with Soul Eater, albeit barely. Tanith scolded herself, she would need to take care of him first. "I have no reason to fight you except to help Ronin," she stated, "I would rather not, but you leave no choice." He gave her a incredulous face, "Do you have to take things so seriously?" The swordwoman sighed, it was somewhat hard to do just that with him. Instead, why didn't she divide her attention. Summoning the powers of her fiendish blade, Tanith called out five souls. They floated around her, bathing her in an ethreal light. A surprised look came over the man but he readied himself for an attack. But it never came, as the knight directed the souls to attack the one who Ronin fought. They flew off, and Cyno took a step foward. "Hey!" he both protested and warned at the same time. But he would need to watch out for the crimson sword that was now headed his way. OoC: I hope I did your chars okay.

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
ooc: you potrayed them perfectly
Valion grunted, sweat running down his face. The boy was much faster than him, that was, when Valion was on the ground. Dropping his coat to the floor, the cyber angel spread his wings wide, and prepared to take off. “Hey!” shouted Cyno, and the angel was struck in the back with five simultaneous blows, nearly knocking him over. Valion put a hand to where the blows had hit him, but there were no marks, or any he could feel at that rate. But in the time he had been hit the boy had taken the chance to attack, and with lightning speed attacked, trying to embed both of his daggers into the surprised angel. But the boy had chosen the wrong place to attack, and his blades clanged as they connected with Valion’s torso. The angel looked in amusement as the boy backed away. “Your metal can’t penetrate this body,” Valion laughed, and pulled up his shirt, revealing his metal torso. With a swift movement his took flight, his wings giving him an extra boost in speed, so he was finally as fast as the boy, and the pews were no longer a problem. Valion began his aerial attack, striking at the boy with incredible precision. The blade caught him several times, nicking his arms and legs. The boy was helpless against his flying foe, so was relying on his wind magic to save him. ~ With a quick movement, Cyno brought up his staff up as the sword swung, forcing the blade upwards. Before the woman could swing with her sword again, the elf transformed the staff into a bow, aiming the one arrow in it at the woman’s chest. “Put the sword down. I only have one arrow, but that’s all I will need,” Cyno aid casually, keeping the arrow trained on the woman. “Would you really shoot me?” Tanith replied, keeping her sword in front of her. The ice elf didn’t reply, but moaned inwardly. Woman was one of his only weaknesses, and after kissing her, he really didn’t want to shoot. He fired, the arrow moving faster than the eye could follow, passing the woman and embedding itself in a can of paint. Cyno lowered the bow, his head lowered, hair covering his face. “Thank you,” Tanith said, and walked passed him, walking towards the other battle. As she passed him, the ice elf changed his weapon yet again, this time into a small hammer. Swinging it round and round, the hammer became a blur, and Cyno brought it into the woman’s stomach, flinging her back against the wall. She landed with a thud against the wall, her head next to the paint can he shot. The woman rose up, her sword ready to attack him. “I thought you were going to let me pass,” she shouted angrily. Cyno clicked his fingers, and paint seeped out of the can next to her, trailing over her feet. With another click it solidified, forming a red ice block. He began to move his hands like a conductor, cans of paint flying from all across the room, spilling their contents over Tanith. Gradually she was frozen to the wall by a multicoloured ice block; the only parts of her visible were her hands, feet and head. |

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
Ronin growled as the cyber-angel attacked with his long sword again. The twin daggers clanged against the sword, trying to fend it off. But the thief wasn't strong and Valion was faster now, taking away one of Ronin's advantages. The angel's sword swipe at his head, forcing the boy to take another step back. It was harder to dodge in the pew aisles, the thief kept backing up slowly, hoping to get out of them any second. Valion brought down his weapon in a cleave, fortunately, Ronin ducked and the blade embedded itself in the wooden back of a pew. Taking the opportunity, the boy cried, "Yana!"
A gust of wind blew out of nowhere but the holy warrior freed his sword and flew to the side just in time. I can't hit him when he's in the air, even with my wind magic, Ronin concluded. This battle wouldn't end well, no matter who won. Then, a thought hit the wind thief. He quickly sheathed his daggers and started undoing the clasp on his cloak. However, Valion decided that wouldn't happen and started attack again. With no weapons, Ronin was forced to duck and sidestep his attacks, resulting in several new cuts and wounds. But he undid the clasp, the cloak only staying around him by his own hands. Valion took another swipe and the boy jumped onto the back on one of the pews. Then, he leaped at the angel, letting loose of his cloak and casting the Yana spell The cloth flew right into the face of the angel and twisted around him. As Valion started ripping apart the material, Ronin pulled out one of his daggers, namely Fujin, and stabbed up to the hilt in the flesh of Valion's only true arm. The flier growled with anger and pain, ripping the cloak to shreads. He grasped Ronin's dagger, yanked it out of his arm, and threw it across the church. "Looks like I penetrate your body, in the right place," Ronin commented, casting the Ether spell to heal most of the smalls wounds that had been inflicted on him. Valion said nothing and brandished his long sword in front of him while the thief brought out his only remaining dagger. ~ This was one interesting predicament Tanith was in. A multicolored glob of frozen paint pinned most of her down. The icy elf had a triumphant grin on his face, "There, now you can sit there and we won't have to fight anymore. I really hate battling beautiful women." The knight looked over at the other duel that was proceeding and gasped. The man in the coat was flying in the air, with no less than and angel wing and a metal one. Is...is Ronin fighting an angel?! she thought. The devout woman had never seen an angel except in art, now one of her friends was battling one. And it didn't seem to be going well for him. "Please," she pleaded, "If you don't release me Ronin will be killed." "Oh, come on," Cyno replied casually, "Valion wouln't kill a kid." He turned around to observe the other battle. Then he turned back to Tanith with a slightly worried look, "At least, I'm sure wouldn't. Besides, I don't want you fighting my friend." The female grimaced and released five more souls from the sword, "I have to help him." The spirits sped towards the elf. He dodged to the side only to have the the orbs follow him and hit. "Jeez, what are those things?" he asked as he looked for any mark to indicate that he had actually been struck. But Tanith wasn't going to wait, she needed a distraction. Calling forth more souls, the only attack she could use while held by the paint, she forced them to orbit around the man. He leaped around, the souls keeping close like they were going to attack but didn't. Meanwhile, the knight struggled to break free. Her hand, and therefore Soul Eater, were both free so she continually struck the paint in hopes of breaking it apart. Cracks appeared but nothing that would get her out. I need to help Ronin! she cried as she kept hitting the frozen paint, more cracks showing up each time.

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
Valion’s vision was rapidly getting worse, he having to rely on his cybernetic eyes for sight.
Blood loss from arm is becoming critical, must be healed within the next hour or amputation will be required. R.V said urgently. The battle was slowly sliding into the demon boy’s favour, and the aerial advantage wasn’t helping that much. Suddenly he had an idea, and began to strike faster and faster at the boy, forcing him into a corner. The demon boy was blocking as much as he could, trying to gain some ground. “Timber!” the cyber angel shouted suddenly, and struck out at one of the rebuilding platforms. The sword cleaved through it like hot butter, and before the boy could react it collapsed on him, trapping him under the rubble. Taking the chance, the angel landed and pulled out his pendant, lying on his injured arm. Focusing, the pendant glowed white for a second, and his wounds healed, leaving only bare, uninjured flesh where they healed. Sighing, Valion hung the pendant back round his neck. “Now to deal with the boy,” Valion muttered angrily, and strode over to the wreckage which he was buried under. With a quick movement he uncovered him, and pulled him up by the scruff of his neck. Raising him to his eye level, he put his sword against his neck. “If you are going to kill me, then do it now,” the boy said proudly, defiance shining in his eyes. “You are lucky boy; I do not kill those who I sense are partially pure inside. The demon taints your soul, but not enough for a death at my hands,” Valion growled, and brought up a leg into the boy stomach. “That however was for the knife in my arm,” the angel laughed and dropped the boy to the floor. He recovered and brought out his one remaining dagger again. “I wish to match wits with the demon, so bring him forth,” Valion said, twirling his sword round confidently. ~ The souls were becoming a nuisance to Cyno; they couldn’t be struck with anything, not even magic. Having an idea, the ice elf pulled the blood shard from his pocket and laid it on his chest, the blue armor forming over him in a matter of seconds. The souls struck but they couldn’t get past the armor, and retreated back to Tanith’s blade. “Demons blood makes pretty good armor, most magic attacks can’t penetrate it,” Cyno said coolly, turning round to the women. She didn’t reply, but was bashing her sword furiously against her icy restraints. Realizing she would be free in a matter of moments, he decided it was time that he started to properly fight. “Your determined I’ll give you that,” the ice elf muttered under his breath, and formed his weapon into a long sword. The women gave the ice one last bash and it broke, shards of coloured ice flying everywhere. But before she could go to help her friend, Cyno ran forward and brought his sword hilt into her stomach, knocking the wind out of her. “Im sorry to have to do this, but if you interfere with Valion that will make it unfair. You may be pretty, but friends count for more,” Cyno said quietly. The woman sighed, making her look even more beautiful. “Ok, ok, Im sorry,” Tanith replied, making Cyno drop his guard. But the moment he put his sword to his side, she brought up hers and punched Cyno in the head, virtually knocking him out. The ice elf fell to the floor, his vision fading rapidly. “Im sorry about that,” Tanith said, her voice sounding far off. A few seconds before he passed out Cyno he swore the woman bent over and kissed him. Ok that wasn’t so bad… Cyno thought to himself and passed out. Ooc: don’t worry Cyno will come back in two or three posts time, its just to join the two battles. |

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
He...wants to fight Notus? Ronin questioned the angel's request. His eyes slid over to the female knight, who was breaking herself freed of multicolored ice. She'll probably be afraid of me once she finds out. He cast his light green eyes downward, pondering about what he could do. Should he continue the fight himself? No, if the thief was knocked out, then the wind demon wouldn't have anybody restricting him.
Notus smiled, Allow me to fight. I would like to give this fallen angel a piece of my mind and sword. The boy could feel the demon's excitement. He also knew that Notus had taken an interest in Tanith, namely, the sword she had. He wasn't sure, but he didn't want to risk the demon hurting her. What guarantee to I have that you won't go on a rampage? he asked Notus. None at all, he replied wickedly, But you had better do it now so you can stop me if I do get...excited. The thief grimaced, the demon was just playing with him. Still, he was right. You'll pay if you hurt anyone, Ronin threatened, making the wind demon laugh. A green light enveloped the boy and when it died down, Notus was still laughing. It felt wonderful to be somewhat free again. The ancient monster felt the elements around him, namely the wind element, and twirled it around him lightly. Hello again, Valion, he greeted, every cell in his body ready to fight. "So, we meet again, demon. You will not walk away from this one," the cyber-angel stated, readying his lond sword. Notus only chuckled, You're proclamation doesn't worry me at all. But let me tell you a little secret. Kill me, and the boy comes along for the ride to Hell. With that statement, the demon rushed forward, striking at the opposing blade with both sword-arms. He pushed against Valion, their strength matching. However, he noticed that the angel was gathering holy mana in his sword. The demon leaped away, hissing at the holy warrior. Valion was undaunted and rushed forward with his Holy Strike. But Notus knew what to do and kicked a large piece of wood at him. The plank was easily cut in half but the holy energy was also expended on it. The creature laughed; this was going to be a fun fight. ~ Tanith felt sorry for knocking out the icy elf, but she just had to do help Ronin. However, as she began to rush over to him, he was covered in a green light. When it faded, something demonic was standing in his place. Wh-what?! she gasped at the transformation. This being must have been the demon power she felt eariler in the boy. But she never imagined it was a full-fledged demon. The knight wasn't sure what to do now. Yes, she wanted to help Ronin, but the demon looked like he had things handled. Though, she was ready to rush in if this foul creature needed help, too. After all, she knew what it was like not to be in control.

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
With a swift movement Valion thrust his sword forward at the demon, but before it struck the demon brought up his sword hand, brushing the attack off with ease.
The boy goes down with the demon if he dies… the boy has a pure heart, but the demon must be removed… Valion thought to himself, jumping back to plan his next attack. Striking his sword into the floor, the cyber angel let off three burst of blue energy, all which travelled down the sword and with lightning speed headed for the demon. The demon didn’t have time to move before the bolts struck, coursing up his legs and straight into his sword arms, causing him to be flung back into a nearby wall. Before he had the chance to get up, Valion was next to him, sword at his throat. “Dam the boy, if hundreds have die if he lives, then it is not worth it!” the cyber angel shouted, and raised his sword to finish off the demon. But before the blow landed Valion was hit from behind, bowling him over the demon. “You won’t take his life, not…” a voice shouted from behind it, but was cut off as there was a sudden clang of metal connecting with metal. Slowly as to not to attract attention, the angel turned over to see that the demon was now battling the woman who had come with the boy. Does the demon have no honour? He attacks even the ones who help him… Valion thought to himself, and looked around for Cyno, and saw him gradually getting up from the floor. By the time he recovers the woman might be dead, the angel thought, thinking what to do. The woman was fairing pretty well against the demon, though he had managed to cut her several times, blood slowly seeping through the wounds. Within a moment he had made up his mind, and with all his might threw his sword at the demon, imbuing it with holy and cybernetic as he did. Ooc: sorry for the short post, my broken leg has this annoying twinge which hurts a lot, which interferes with the signals from my mothership… forget the last part ![]() |

Re: Rebuilt (graceful_sheik)
OoC: You broke your leg? Major ouch, hope you get better soon. Hey, I have a friend who goes to the mothership. Say hi for me!
BiC: NO! Ronin shouted as Notus kept attacking Tanith. He knew the demon wanted the sword she wielded but he didn't think Notus would attack her in the middle of the battle. STOP IT! the thief yelled, making the wind demon wince slightly. Suddenly, Notus' body froze for a second as Ronin took control. What are you doing!? This is my body, now, he hissed angrily. Ronin growled at the demon, I won't let you hurt her anymore. The being laughed silently. The boy's threat didn't concern him. Then, something crossed the demon's senses. A surge of holy energy was being gathered. He turned to see Valion throw his long sword at him, filled with cybernetic and holy energy. Notus tried to move but too late. The blade piecered through his chest, the powerful magic coursed in him. Tanith stepped back as the demon screamed in pain and rage. Notus turned his eyeless face towards the angel, "You will pay for that." Panting, he pushed the cyber-angel's sword out clumsily, having no hands of his own. "Aether," he said and instantly the wound healed as though nothing happened. The demon noted Valion's subdued surprise, "You didn't think something that weak would kill me. You even did that knowing that the boy would die with me. Hmph, so much for protecting the innocent. No wonder you're down here instead of with the rest of your filthy kind." "I doubt a demon would know anything pertaining about that," Valion simply stated, not walking into Notus' ruse. ~ Tanith back up from the fight that she had tried to interfere in. Could she trust Ronin now that the inner demon had been revealed? She shook her head, Of course I can trust Ronin, it's this demon. What was his name, Notus? It seemed like she could not help in this fight. "You know it wasn't very nice to knock me out. Though, I did like the kiss," a man said from behind. It was Cyno, holding the side of his head that the knight had punched. Then he looked at the battle between his friend and the demon, "Woah." Then he pulled out his ice shard. "I don't want to fight you," the female repeated. She also turned to the other battle, "I think we should help your angelic friend. But, we can't kill the demon." |
