Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

OOC: Remember the knife Gorin gave to your characters? Here's the quest style battle the knives are for. The knives have to do with the chamber of memories, as your characters seem (at least to Gorin, he could be mistaken) to have latent memories that could increase their power.

The knives will also come into play in a later quest, but for now...

BIC: "It's time." thought Gorin. He stood near a large temple. This particular temple had many things hidden inside.

The first time the Oblivion Master set foot in the temple, he hadn't had time to fully explore its secrets. The newest member to the alliance, Erebus, had seen disturbing memories of his mother in the temple.

The whole ordeal had been one of the reasons he had called the two warriors here. Both were members of Kenjin's knights, but that didn't stop Gorin. These two would be promising allies one day, despite the fact that the Oblivions and the knights were rivals.

"Kenjin doesn't know what he's missing. He could really improve on these two." thought the Oblivion Master. The knives had been taken from the temple by Jeorrod and Frank.

Apparently, they activated hidden memories when brought to a certain room. The room was supposedly hard to get to however.

"This'll all work out. It'll all work out..." thought Gorin. He sent Jeorrod, his domerri spy, to deliver invitations to Krush and Sin to meet at the temple.

OOC: Sorry for the short entry post. For timeline's sakes, lets say this takes place after "Ancient Power", because Gorin discovered the temple early in "Ancient Power". That'll mean he's a little more powerful, since he's getting an upgrade at the end (approved by Aerixeth)

The upgrades won't matter for this battle yet, so don't worry about that.

To Clark Kent: If you post before Quark, a domerri is a kind of ghost.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

OoC: This really scrwed up my timeline! But okay lets go! This will take place before my BA quest I guess....

Krush walked through Hyrule Field. The ground was so green and fresh, and the sunshine could make even the most saddest person feel so much better. As Krush walked his thoughts returned to the knife Gorin had iven him.

Krush pulled it out and eyed it once again. The blade still glowed an errie purple color and the hilts marking was still there. It seemed like only yesterday that Krush had been given this, yet it was actually a few weeks ago.

Krush then eyed the pendant Kenjin gave him him. The sword pendant reflected the sunlight and glowed a beautiful gold color. However when Krush got the knife to close to the pendant, both would give off electro static discharge at each other.

Just then a figure shot up from the ground and greeted Krush. The figure was pale, almost like a ghost, and in his hands were a letter and a map. The ghost said nothing but merely handed the papers to Krush.

Krush opened the letter:

Dear Krush,

I Gorin have decided its time to meet you again. Use this map to find my location, it is time to unlock that power the knife holds.

Sincerely,
Gorin

Krush looked at the map. A temple structure was at the top, along with an X at what apeared to be a ranch. Krush then seen what appeared to be a ranch in fron of him and assumed that that is where he would start. Krush then dashed off.....

After about fifteen minutes Krush arrived at the Temple. He then stepped in and saw gorin.

"Hello Krush, long time no see" Gorin said smirkingly.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

The wind whisped through the forest, voices of long lost and dead ones seemed to ride the wind like fish in uncontrolable rapids. This was the same forest Sin had once destroyed a whole elven race. He decided this would be where he would set up his new palace, "Pure irony," the pure dark being shook his head, "The very same kingdom that destroyed my own, will now have to bow beneath my empire as I build it on top of this destroyed one."

Sin chuckled darkly as he nodded, "The day is drawing closer, I can taste it in the air."

he stood still for a few more seconds before he spun around, slashing his sword through the air. It didn't hit anything for all that was there was a ghost. The spirit handed over a note and without another word retreted through the ground.

Sin cut the seal off with his sharp armored hand and read it in his head.

Dear Sirius Amon Moris,

Find me.

Gorin

As soon as he finished reading the paper he burnt it to ash and let it flow through the air, "Dammit Gorin, what do you want this time?"

Sin pulled out the dagger he had once given him, it glowed a faint purple, "All you need to do is say my name and I can find you." Sin stood there for about two seconds longer before he heard his name, spoken by Gorin. "There you are." Sin dissapeared as he made his way to the temple at high speeds.

Finally, he was there, "He's probably got some quest going no doubt." He flew through the door and materialized into the room where Gorin as well as a somewhat familiar person stood.

"The newb." Sin smirked.

Krush recognised him from his initiation, "Sin, right?"

"You may call me that." Sirius confirmed.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

OOC: I'm just going to demonstrate one of Gorin's new powers in this thing. Oh, and he's a neo-echo now instead of an echo.

BIC: Gorin smirked. Even though he was totally aware that they both new eachother, as he had seen Krush's initiation, he decided to ask a stupid question anyways.

"You two know eachother?" he asked. The neo-echo leaned against the stone wall. Sin and Krush nodded, both knowing that Gorin already knew that.

"Why did you call us here?" asked Krush. The Kryptonion was fingering his medallion, rememebering that the Oblivion Master had a habit for disrespecting the Encorna's medallions.

Gorin answered the question by suddenly lurching forwards and swiftly swiping the knife out of the young knight's pocket. He whipped around and threw it towards the wall.

Krush thought that the neo-echo was trying to break the knife, but Sin knew otherwis. The knife stabbed into what appeared to be a small socket in the wall. It glowed even brighter than before, revealing another socket next to it.

"Let me guess." said Sin. He shoved his knife into the second socket. The second socket flashed the same color as an openning seemed to appear out of nowhere between the sockets.

The knives floated out of the sockets and back to their respective owners as if nothing had happened. Sirius snatched his out of the air, while Krush was a little more sheepish. He didn't know if Gorin was a friend or foe at this point.

He eventually grabbed it after seeing that nothing horrible was happening to the dark being. Sin chuckled softly. "Noobie."

The neo-echo made his way towards the doorway. Suddenly, a blue force shot out of the doorway and forced the Oblivion Master backwards.

"Looks like only the two of us are allowed through." said Sin. The dark being knew that there must be something at the end of this temple that was worth post-poning his palace creation.

"No problems there." said Gorin. The neo-echo was covered in a wave of crimson light, but a different figure was standing in his place after the flash of light. It looked exactly like Krush, although it wasn't holding a knife.

"There, I'll change back after we get through this doorway." said the fake Krush. The real kryptonion was standing with his mouth gaping, while Sin simply moved on through the doorway.

Gorin followed Sin, the doorway mistaking him for one of the knife holders. Luckily, it didn't think Krush was an imposter when he made his way through after the neo-echo.

The Oblivion Master changed back to his normal appearence on the other side. He didn't quite know what lay ahead in the temple next, but he was going to help these two through it.

After all, what easier way to gain allies than by helping them gain power? It is a sort of bonding exercise after all...

OOC: The temple is slightly different in each room, so you don't have to follow any set description.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

Krush could see in Sins dark evil eyes that the thought of power was overwelming him, yet he was not sure if Sin would betray the BA knights just for a little power boost. Krush on the other hand wasnt really sure what to think, and he didnt have much time either, Gorin quickly pulled him and Sin into the temple to begin their journey.

The first room they entered was dark, and red eyes filled the corners of the room. krush could swear that something was trying to grab his feet, but it was almost to dark to see anything. The only thing lighting the room was a torch Gorin had summoned to rid the darkness.

As they took there first step into the darkness, something brushed up against Sins leg, only to be killed instantly. After closer inspection in turned out to merely be a rat! Krush thought that Sin was a little violent and wondered how a torchered soul like his could ever be accepted into the BA knights, but the mysetery eluded him.

Gorin on the other hand was definateley an enigma. Krush could not read his mind, as the Echo warrior kept himself well hidden and managed to block out Krushes mind reading abilitys. Krush could sense the power flowing in him, he believed that kenjin was stronger, but knew that Gorin could easily kill him hear and now if he attempted anything. Krush decided to go on with it quietly, awaiting to see what awaits the trio at the end of the room....

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

Gorin looked over towards the other two. Their memories held so much hidden power.

"Do you remember what Krypton was like Krush?" the echo asked. The kryptonion whipped around to face Gorin. He didn't remember ever telling the Oblivion Master about his home planet.

"I saw a few breif memories of it when I scanned your mind a while back. The memories will hold make you more powerful. Trust me." said Gorin. He would be able to use Krush and Sin for their purposes more easily if he gained their trust through multiple exploits.

This was just the first one. He had many other things planned for these two. The possibility of how powerful Krush could end up, the power of Sin's seemingly unbeatable army.

All of it would be at his fingertips if he played his cards right. The Encorna was trying to get at him through some plan involving his beloved Nenet, oh well. He'd stop Kenjin's plan and counter it with his own.

Not to mention that he himself would grow more powerful through these exploits. He felt his inner aura pulse with raw tainted element.

"Halt! You who would intrude on this most sacred of places, prepare to die lest you turn back!" yelled a deep voice. Something moved in the shadows. Something big.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

It got closer to the three until it stopped, just out of eyesight, "Leave or die, choose now for I am one of little patience."

Krush raised an eyebrow and looked over at Gorin who's face remained calm yet eager for something other than a fight. Possibly for the reward at the end of this temple.

Sin's Serrated swords shot into his hands as an answer to the beast, he jumped forward as he brought in the first attack. This thing sounded powerful, he would enjoy eating the brains afterwards.

Krush saw Sin's actions and saw that they were staying, he lunged forward for the first fight of the day.

Gorin plunged toward the unseen beast as well, seeing that the other two were already well on their way.

Ooc: That is a really bad post but I havn't posted much in here, so sue me.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

OOC: Sorry for the short post. I'm posting this mostly to keep the thread from dieing.

BIC: Gorin clamped his hand on his torch, absorbing the fire element and multiplying it in a spray of flames that lit up the room.

The burning hot element's light allowed the three warriors to see what it was they were facing. Krush gasped at the creature, but the reactions from Gorin and Sin were much different.

The beast was a four armed creature that slightly resembled a goron. It had the same skin color, and large muscles. Unlike a goron however, it's arms and legs were about the same size compared to its body as a human's arms and legs are compared to theirs.

That wouldn't be too much of a trouble if the beast weren't fifteen feet tall. Each arm ended in a three fingered hand, each hand holding a different weapon.

One hand held a spear, one weilded a sword, another carried a blade edged shield, and the final one had an ax. It's entire frame was covered in flames from the neo-echo's fire attack.

"The bigger they are, the funnier it is when they fall flat on their ass." Commented Gorin. A small chuckle was heard coming from Sin as the three warriors charged at the beast.

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

Krush eyed the large creature. It was giant, but by the looks of it it looked very stupid. Krush read its mind to see:

........Duuuuhhh....Dese guys die here heeheeheee.....

Krush merely shook his head and rushed forward. The thing raised its sword to slice Krush, but the blade stopped on the Kryptonians skin, like it had hid a concrete wall or something.

"Nice buddy, but dont think your the only one with superhuman strength," Krush said as he pulled the sword off of his shoulder. He then looked up at the beasts eye. It was a giant four armed cyclops, impressive, but it would fall easily.

"Gorin, Sin, let me handle this one, you guys can have the next one, Oh and Sin, I dont think this ones brain will be worth eating..." Krush said as he looked at the beasts eye.

Sin was reluctant to stand down, as was Gorin, but they knew the beast would be weak compared to them all at once.

Krush taunted the cyclops, trying to get him to slice at him with his weapon. Sure enough the creature tried to smash Krush with its axe, it missed him, but it worked for Krushes plan. Krush dashed up the creatures arm, pulled out the knife and stabbed it into the Creatures eye.

It screamed and roared, tossing Krush off along with the knife. It finally fell to its knees and bowed.

"I been beat, you go through, me stay here and die, please dont hurt, I die soon anyway" The cyclops grunted as it motioned Krush, Gorin and Sin through.

"How did you know that would work?" Sin said.

"Clearly you have never read the Illiad and the Oddessey" Krush said ashe continued down the hall.

OoC: Yeah I figured We'd each take an enemy for now, I mean Gorin, Krush and Sin dont need to gang up on everything!

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

As Sin floated past the cyclops he stopped in his tracks, "Your brain is not worthy to be eaten by me," Sin spat on the fallen warrior.

"Just leave me to die." The cyclops coughed.

"but that hasn't stopped me before." Sin finished, transforming one of his serrated swords into a razor sharp blade. With a single swipe, the beast's skull fell in half. Placing his hands over the exposed brain, Sin absorbed it into his body.

Sin savored the brain for a moment before he glared down at the body with distaste, "You dim witted fool." he continued to move on and caught up with the others. "Still, he had power." he decided as he felt through the being's abilities.

The next room was much colder, the ground covered in ice and a light snow fluttered down from the ceiling.

Gorin stepped forward first and glared through the thick snowy fog.

Sin hovered in after him, straining his eyes through the fog as well.

Krush walked in backwards; he was still looking at the monster with the half severed head. "That's a little gross, Sin."

Sin smirked, "Just be glad swords don't penetrate your skin or I would have your brain before this is over."

Re: Chamber of memories. (Clark Kent, Quark)

Gorin ignored Krush's disgusted reaction towards Sin's actions. He was more interested in absorbing the water element from the snowy landscape.

The snow surrounding the neo-echo seemed to melt and flow into his body as he stood. The Oblivion Master could smell the faint scent of decay somewhere in this snowy fog.

"Gwagahahafajahh!!!" Came a voice. A large beast of snow appeared before the three warriors. It was an ice golem.

The large beast looked over the warriors with its blue eyes, light glinting off of its icy body. The ice golem's hands were covered in sharp ice spikes.

"I'll leave this one to you guys. I'm not letting all of this snow and ice go to waste," Said Gorin. The Oblivion Master left Sin and Krush to face the ice golem, far more interested in absorbing the elements in the room.
