The Woodland Meeting (Wolfen)

OOC: Here's the battle Wolfen and I decided on. I will use, Gawl. (Link to Profile is in Sig)

Bic:
Gawl was sitting deep in the forest near a small village, practicing his magic. He was not there by his choice exactly, for his powers had warped him there unexpectedly.

Then suddenly Gawl heard a rustling in the woods. Afraid of wildlife, Gawl impulsively shot a beam of magic toward the sound. He heard a crash as his spell hit a tree instead of his target and heard a voice call out, "Who did that? You nearly blew off my head!"

Gawl quickly got up and turned to walk away before he was discovered but was too late. A man over twice his size ran into the clearing and spotted Gawl. "Did you cast that spell?" The man demanded.

"Umm...yes, I did but I thought that you were some kind of dangerous creature." Gawl replied, tears starting to form.

The man noticed Gawl's tears and quickly adjusted his tone, "I'm sorry I yelled at you. My name is Zephir...what is yours?" Zephir did look sorry to Gawl, so he mummbled, "Gawl..."

The man stood up..."That was some powerful magic...where did you get it?" Zephir inquired. Gawl looked up and his hair stopped flowing as water and instead turned into a comfortable warmth. "I don't know. I was born with it."

OOC: Wolfen...it's your turn. And did I spell Zephir's name right?

OoC:Hehehe... Sorry ithat it's kinda late...

Don't worry, you spelled his name fine. Though Microsoft Word wants to change it to Zephyr.


BiC:
"Born with it?" the mage asked the young boy. The kid seemed to look like a Hylian, with the pointed ears, yet something was strange about him. "Where are you from?"

"Windfall Island, sir," the child responded timidly.

"Windfall Island?" Zephir repeated with puzzlement, "Where's that? I have never heard of it." before Gawl responded, Zephir lent out an observation, "You look Hylian, but you don't seem like it."

"Hylian?" the look of immense confusion spread out across Gawl's face, "What do you mean by Hylian?"

"I'm talking about Hyrule, the land of the Triforce. Haven't you heard of it?"

"Y-yes..." the child now showed a small bit of sadness. "It was destroyed... Haven't YOU heard?"

"Destroyed?"

"Yes, the legend goes that it was flooded."

Flooded!? Zephir stumbled back in shock, "No, it can't be flooded. I was born there, raised there. I FOUGHT there."

"That's just what I've heard. I'm very sorry." The mage jumped off of his stump at the sight of crimson red liquid trickling down Zephir's arm. "You're bleeding!"

Zephir immediately hid his wound. It was caused by an attack by a monstrous, demonic spider that bit and poisened him. His thouight's turned to Gawl. "We should get out of here." Zephir began to warn, "Woods like these are dengerous, especially for a kid like you."

OoC: I thought it was interesting that both our characters were from the same place, but completely different time periods.

Oh, and you may be crazy, but I'm insane!

"Don't call me a kid...alright?" Gawl growled. Zephir backed up a bit.

"Alright...alright...I won't," Zephir whispered, "But come on," Zephir grabbed Gawl's wrist and pulled him away, "We really have to get out of here. This is a dangerous place." Gawl nodded and ran in front of Zephir. "Wait up! You don't know the way out!" Zephir yelled.

"What?!" Gawl called back, "I can't hear you!" Gawl stopped and listened carefully. Gawl didn't hear anything but the sound of nature. "I'm alone...all alone...I don't want to be alone anymore..." Gawl sobbed, "I don't...I don't want to...I DON'T WANT TO BE ALONE ANYMORE!" Gawl screamed and suddenly his eyes turned blood red.

A massive surge of power rippled from his body and knocked down a couple nearby trees. "NOOO!!!" A huge explosion erupted around Gawl. Meer feet away stood Zephir...

"No way..." He whispered. Then the blast caught up to him. "AARRGGGHHH!!!" Zephir screamed in pain. When the blast subsided Zephir looked up to see Gawl floating in the air...a crater underneath him. Gawl mummbled incorherently. Zephir tried to approach Gawl but a quick blinding light forced Zephir to back up. "Okay..."

OOC: Wolfen...Gawl is about as crazy as us right now...he is delerious and won't recognize Zephir or anyone he knows.

The cyclone spun uncontrollably, flinging streams of lightning everywhere. Zephir had to move fast to avoid being struck. He raced against the hundreds of fleeing spiders, many shedding blood from their wounds.

Zephir landed in a patch of untouched leaves. He stood, but had difficulty. The poison had finally gotten to him and started to weaken his body. He cursed himnself, and kicked a tree. Summoning strength and energy from the air, he climbed up into the tall branches.

He spotted Gawl floating in the air, his eyes glowing with feirceness. Taking a deep breath, he shouted into the air.

"Gawl!" Zephir's voice called out into the air. But the child didn't hear him. He took a deeper breath and shouted louder, "GAWL!"

He was too far way to attract any attention from him. He kn ew what he had to do. Focusing on the tree in ewhich he stood, Zephir took energy from the tree. The tree was like a spring of energy. When Zephir had enough., he cast a spell for protection, and ran under the troubled boy.

"Gawl!" he turned his head below to the source of the voice. Zephir continued, "Gawl, it is alright. You are safe. I won't let you get hurt. Just come back down here and I can helpo you out of the forest!. Gawl continued to just stare blankly at him. Then, the boy came flying down and struck at Zephir. Zephir jumped back, then blocked a second blow.

If it's a fight you want, Zephir contemplated, it's a fight you'll get!

BIC:
Gawl stood alone inside his mind and watched in horror as he watched his newfound friend defend himself against Gawl's body. He ran to the viewing point and tried to call out to Zephir and regain control of his own body. "He cried out, "Zephir!"

Zephir was defending himself agianst Gawl's relentless attacks. He was about to counterattack when he heard a voice in his mind. He blocked out the noise and leapt forward to land a devastating blow to Gawl's body. A voice roared out in his head. It said, "Zephir!" he looked about to see who could be contacting him in such a way. "Zephir! It's Gawl!"

Gawl watched Zephir pause and look around. "No! Don't look away! My body might attack you!" As he yelled this a looming figure appeared behind him. "Gawl! Attention!" It yelled. Gawl turned about in horror and saw a menacing figure from his past. "NOOO!!!" SIR kicked Gawl in the gut and demanded, "Why are you here?! Why aren't you at home?!" SIR picked Gawl up by the scruff of his neck and beat him up, asking questions of Gawl inbetween hits.
