Journey through the Lost Woods

OoC: This will be a part of Krushes Trial (linkinsig) So this battle will be told of in the Trials of Krush okay! I will be using Krush obviously and it will be a one on one fight.

BiC: Krush walked through the thick blanket of trees, darkness was falling quicker which was making the path much harder to see. Through the darkness Krush could make out what appeared to be some sort of tunnel with a swirling vortex in it.

Krush approached it in amazment and was immediatley sucked into it!

Swirls of designs surrounded him, some of what appeared to be fish like creatures, others were humans with pointed ears. The darkness and designs overwelmed him and he immediatley fell unconcious...

Krush opened his eyes and looked around. It was daylight and he was in the middle of some sort of grove. What is this place? Krush thought as a rather large owl flew overhead.

He then noticed a figure walking out of the woods.

"What are you doing in my territory?" The figure asked.

"I...I really dont know" Krush said still a little dazed.

"No one comes into my territory and leaves without a battle" The figure said as it raised its weapon.

"Have it your way then" Krush said as he readyed himself.

The figure then walked forward....

OOC: Hehe, I you're the new BA Knight eh? This should be interesting then. I'm the leader of the Oblivions, which are pretty much the BA Knights' rivals.

BIC: The figure raised a large blade. The sheer weight of the weapon made the figure sink into the ground slightly.

"Now now, I suppose somebody has forgotten their manners." came a voice. Another blade, this one slightly larger, came down on the figure.

Krush closed his eyes disgustedly as the figure was cleaved in two by the weapon. A dark skinned man stood before the nasty mess.

"Well well, if it isn't Krush." said the dark man. He wore simple clothes which seemed to match his skin. The only part of the man's body that wasn't black was his eyes. They were a dark yellow color, with snakelike pupils.

"Who are you?!" asked Krush. This man held an air of power about him. Something told Krush that this man was no less powerful than Tuariv had been, maybe even more powerful.

"My name is Gorin. I don't think Kenjin told you about me yet." replied the dark man. He stabbed the blade into the ground. The sheer force of the blade hitting the ground made Krush stumble.

"What do you have to do with Kenjin?" asked Krush. This guy was definately powerful...

"I'm an enemy of sorts. The knights and the Oblivions don't exactly have a loving relationship." Gorin created a longsword to use rather than the bulky sword.

"Kenjin didn't tell me about any Oblivions." thought Krush. Nevertheless, this man seemed like he wanted a fight. Krush would give him one...

OoC: Yep I know all about you, lets do this!

Krush stood there and pondered on what to do first.

If this guy is really the leader of the Oblivion Alliance, then I may be a little in over my head, but Im not going to back out! Krush thought enthusiastictlly. Before Krush could began to think on what to do first, Gorin summoned a large sword and charged at Krush.

"Man I just got cleaned up to!" Krush said sarcastically as Gorin approached him. Gorin Pulled the blade over his head and slammed it on Krush, who merely broke the blade in half with his fist.

"Erg...Nice swing, but your not gonna take me down with mere weapons" Krush said as he rubbed his slightly aching hand.

"So your extremely durable huh? Thats a useful technique, but it wont save you from me!" Gorin said in a frustrated way. He then focused and summoned up a rock hand from the ground which wrapped itself around Krush.

"Now you see but a small taste of what my echo power can do!" Gorin said leeringly as the hand tightened around Krush more.

Krush then closed his eyes and focused. He visioned of dark clouds and and then heard Gorins voice.

"There is no way he is weakning just by that, the BA will not accept anyone who is just extremely durable, I know he's holding something back..."

Krush then opened his eyes.

"Your right Gorin, I have alot more power then you think!" Krush said as he busted free from the hand and readyed himself...

"Well then, show me the fighting prowess that got you into the knights!" commented Gorin. The Oblivion Master smiled.

He had watched Tuariv and Krush's fight, and remembering the fighting style of anybody was easy for him. Now to test this warrior out for himself before picking a suitable opponent for him out of the Oblivions.

Krush performed a roundhouse kick to Gorin's shoulder. The blow would have popped any normal person's shoulder out of place, but didn't seem to have the same effect on this man.

The krypton jumped back to avoid a possible counterattack. This guy was pretty sturdy himself...

"Is that all?" asked Gorin. The blow had caused a bit of pain, but not enough for Gorin to make any noticeable signs of it.

"Even Iruki can hit harder than that!" laughed Gorin. He knew that Iruki would have been damaged greatly by that attack, but wanted to see if Krush was as easy to anger as Tuariv.

"How about-" began Krush. He leapt through the air and grabbed the Oblivion Master by the head. "This!" he finished.

The kryptonion twisted and slammed Gorin facefirst into the nearest tree. The tree split in half from the blow, sending chips of wood flying through the air.

A muffled voice came from the stump of the tree where Gorin's face was lodged.

"Meh, so and so." Gorin grabbed Krush by the neck as he stood up.

"That was ok, but have you ever suffered this?" he asked. The echo threw Krush through a group of trees. The kryptonion was slammed through several different trees before he landed near a large rock formation.

"I haven't even started you know." called Gorin. He stalked towards the fallen kryptonion.

Krush stood up and looked at the formation. In it was engraved several arrows going up, down, left and right. They resembled music notes, but Krush had no time to study them.

Just as he turned around a long shockwave shot through the ground right at Krush, who made an impressive 20ft leap into the air to avoid it.

"Nice jump warrior, how bout this!" Gorin said as he summoned up a bunch of rocks from the ground and hurled them at Krush.

Krush didnt panic, as the stones easily busted against his body with little pain. " Throwing rocks huh, bet it took you all night to think of that" Krush said smirkingly.

Before Gorin could think, Krush dashed behind him, grabbed him and rammed him into the large rock formation, leaving a large imprint of his body.

"Niche, Ked, but not nir anuf" Gorin said through the rock.

As he pulled himself out, he noticed Krush pulled a tree out of the ground and hurled it at him.

"Easy there, dont waste to much energy on senseless attacks" Gorin said as he summoned up a red shield, which merely busted the tree.

Before he could react Krush appeared behind him yet again, only this time he gave the hardest punch he had, which sent Gorin flying a few yards foward....

"That actually hurt." thought Gorin. He found himself hurtling through the air from Krush's punch. Several trees broke against him with little damage to the Oblivion Master.

Gorin jabbed his hand towards the ground. He felt his fist force itself into the ground, slowing him down. He continued to fly forward for a second or two.

When Gorin finally stopped he rubbed his back. It wasn't the pain from the attack that made him rub his back, it was the fact that he hadn't felt an attack like that since his fights with Kenjin.

"You're good kid." he yelled. Krush, who was still standing by the rock formation, was surprised to hear the echo's voice. He had actually expected that attack to knock the Oblivion Master out.

"Errm, thanks." he called back. How was it that the echo didn't even sound hurt? He recieved his answer when Gorin ran back.

"I'm guessing you're wondering why that didn't damage me too much." he said. The echo stopped ten feet away from the kryptonion.

"If you must know, here it is. I'm every bit as powerful as Kenjin, who is more powerful than Tuariv, who I'm guessing went a little easy on you to keep from killing you." said the Oblivion Master.

He was still wondering if the whole anger warfare thing worked on Krush as well as it worked on Tuariv. He would get his answer soon.

Krush merely cracked his knuckles stretched his neck. He was not about to go inot a sensless rage like Tuariv, that was how he lost the last fight, He was fighting like an angry lion and not thinking, he would not make the same mistake here.

Gorin was obviously durable and strong, much like Tuariv, but he was much much slower then Krush, and could not read minds, maybe he could use this to his advantage....

Krush closed his eyes and focused. He then heard Gorins voice yet again.

"I expect the fool will do another charge attack, I will be ready this time with my ecto shock...."

Krush then opened his eyes and smiled. He dashed over to a nearby tree, uprooted it, and dashed on top of a nearby cliff overlooking Gorin. He then aimed, and hurled the massive tree at Gorin.....

ooC: Sorry this is so short, but I have alot to do.

Gorin leapt into the air and landed on the still-flying tree. The large plant was forced to the ground by the echo's landing, as he had pushed down on it when he landed.

"Interesting. So you can read minds eh?" he said. Krush was standing on the top of the cliff. Even though he was at a higher vantage point than Gorin, Krush could still hear him.

"Maybe." replied Krush. How could the Oblivion Master know about Krush's ability to read minds? Surely he couldn't...

"I have an attack similar to reading minds. I scan through an enemies memory, and current thoughts to copy one of their abilities. Unfortunatly for you, I chose to copy your mind reading ability."

Krush sat for a moment before saying anything.

"Is he telling the truth?" he thought. He hear Gorin's reply the second he tried to listen to the Oblivion Master's thoughts.

"Of course I am. You don't think I'd waste my time by trying to bluff my way through a fight with you? This is turning out to be fun."

Perfect he can read minds now Krush thought as he stood on top of the cliff.

"Of course I can read minds, now you cant hide nothing from me!!" Gorin yelled happily.

He cant read my mind if I focus my attention elsewhere, like Tuariv did! Krush thought happily.

"Hahahahahahahaha, you mean your trying that overgrown lizards technique? Bah I'll humor you!" Gorin said sarcasstically.

Krush ran towards Gorin and raised his fist to hit him.

If he will just stand still so I can punch him... Krush thought.

Gorin smirked and dodged the punch, however Krush tricked him! Krush then turned and slammed a kick into Gorins Gut, sending him into the nearby rock structure again.

"Ohh.....that was a good one..." Gorin said as he stood up. But how did he do it? Gorin thought as he read Krushes mind.

None of you business! Krush thought as he smirked...

OOC: Read "Tower of Time". He breaks through robots in there with his weapons. Don't worry about it, I'll think of something near the end that explains it. Let's just delete these OOC posts, and keep it to PMs if you want to persist.

BIC: "Hmm, so he's modified the exact strategy Tuariv used against him. This guy's fairly good, but he hasn't convinced me of anything yet." Gorin thought. The echo knew that Krush could hear his thoughts, which was one of the main reasons he thought that.

"Let's see how well you fare up here." said Gorin. The Oblivion Master snapped his fingers and activated the ground around him with his powers.

The ground around the echo rose into the air, raising him several yards off of the ground. Krush jumped on before it grew too high for him to get on.

"Heh, how good's your balance?" asked Gorin. Krush noticed that the large mound was breaking in half, giving both warriors very little room to move.

The Oblivion Master cracked his knuckles. "Crap." thought Krush.

The wave approached quickly, but Krush merely stood his ground. Faster and faster the wave approached, Dirt and grass flying everywhere as it approached him. At the last minute Krush leaped into the air as the rumble went under him.

Nice, I think this guy is puttin up a good challene, and since he's reading my mind, lets see how he likes it when I EAT BLUE PANCAKES!! Krush thought, since he knew Gorin was reading his mind trying to get his next idea.

Krush ran over to the rock structure, busted the left and right part of it off, leaving only a large oblesk about 30ft high and 5ft wide. Krush then heaved and picked up the large rock, aimed and hurled it at Gorin.

Gorin started to dodge, but Krush appeared behind him and Grabbed him.

"Lets see if your really as durable as you seem" Krush said as the towering Oblesk approached him and Gorin....

OOC: Last post of mine in this battle. I'm sure you'll find it interesting, as it sets the tone for battles involving Krush and Gorin to come. Remember how I told you I had something interesting planned for our characters? Here's the beginning of it...

BIC: Gorin smiled.

"It'll test your durability as well." he said. The Oblivion Master focused on the obelisk, using his powers over the elements of wind and earth to make it fall faster.

With a loud crashing noise both warriors were consumed in a cloud of dust as the obelisk smashed down onto them. Krush and Gorin were knocked off of eachother by the impact.

"You've proven that you are a promising warrior, but not enough to prove a threat to me yet." said Gorin. Both warriors were harmed greatly by the falling obelisk, but it seemed that Gorin had taken less damage.

The Oblivion Master grabbed Krush by the neck, lifting him out of the rubble. The kryptonion's BA medallion dangled from his neck.

"You don't need this now, do you?" asked Gorin. The echo tore the medallion from Krush's neck and placed it in his pocket.

"You know, I found something very interesting when I scanned your mind." said Gorin. The Oblivion Master tightened his grip on Krush's neck, choking the kryptonion.

"It seems that you have some buried memories. You should know that no memory can be destroyed, only covered up." The echo dropped the gasping warrior to the ground.

"This was a fun fight, but you have potential to be sooo much better." Gorin created a small knife. It was black, with glowing runic symbols.

"If you want to know about these hidden memories," Gorin stabbed the knife into the ground next to Krush. "You can find me. Know this: The Encorna will rarely help you to increase your power, I can help you increase your power and find your hidden memories."

Gorin turned around and seemed to meld into the landscape as Krush stood up. The Oblivion Master threw the medallion back to Krush as he disappeared from site.

OoC: I LOST THE MEDALLION!!! WHAT!!!!! What am I supposed to do with a knife!!!?

OOC: What were you supposed to do with a medallion? I had Gorin take the medallion, so that Krush could seek him out in some kind of quest style battle in order to get it back...

The knife will come into play in a later battle.

OoC: No way man, I have to keep that medallion!! Im not sure if Im allowed to tell why, but I must keep that!! You can take the knife back too! I just want the medallion!!

To avert a spamming fest, I am stepping in here. **Pulls out BA Council Badge**

Now, I rarely use my Council rights outside of the Character Approval section, but this goes way out of line, and not just because it's one of my Knights. Mikey B, you will rewrite your post. You will not remove the BA medallion from the character Krush, and you will not do this again. If you do something like this again, it had best be with the approval of the character's user. That is all.

I don't like doing this, but you NEVER remove a character's item without their owner's consent. Rewrite the post, that is final Mikey B. And in future, keep the battles longer. If Clark wants the fight to continue, continue. If he wants it to end, let it end. But NEVER do this again.

OoC: Thanx Powershot, I think I can end this with a tie and future battle, aside from the necklace being removed.
