Expanding the forces. (Onilinkc4)

OOC: As promised, here's your chance to try out for the Oblivion Alliance. You can use as many of your characters as you want, although I'll only use Gorin.

BIC: "Nenet..." thought Gorin. Ever since the Tower of Time incident he had been looking for the female pirate. Something in his gut told him Kenjin was up to something involving her.

Now the echo sat with his back against a tree in a forest clearing. The various sounds of nature filled the air, complimenting the smell of pine trees.

"Come back here!!" shouted a voice in the distance. A shadowy figure in a cloak ran past Gorin and dropped a sack of money. Naturally, the Oblivion Master moved to pick up the money.

"Hey!" came the voice. This time it was much closer. Gorin turned to see that the sack of gold coins had been grabbed by another person.

"Don't steal other people's stuff!" the figure shouted. They had their hand resting on a sword hilt. This was obviously going to erupt into a fight.

Gorin stood up and brushed himself off. This was going to be interesting...

OOC: As I said, you can use as many characters as you want.

OoC: I thought you said I could only use up to 3. Oh well, doesn’t matter. I already picked what character I’m going to use. Rayu and Brolio are going to come in later.

BiC:

Droz looked at the man in front of him. Droz has his right hand on the hilt of his sword.

“Give me back my money,” Droz said. At first there was no reply.

“No, I think I’ll keep the money for myself,” the Echo said with a smirk.

“Then so be it,” Droz said as he pulled out his two swords. Droz slowly made his way over to the Echo. Observing and waiting for him to pull out his weapon.

“What are you waiting for? Rush me,” the Echo said.

“I’m waiting for you to pull out your weapon. If I’m going to kill you, I’d like for you to up a fight,” Droz said as he approached.

“Heh, I think I’ll pose a bigger threat then you think. I’ll enjoy kicking your ass,” the Echo said.

“Big words for a little guy,” Droz said.

“Little?” the echo said.

“Well, compared to me you are,” Droz said as he just stopped four feet in front of Gorin. Droz was a foot taller than him. “Heh,” Droz smiled. Maybe I can have some fun with him before I kill him. I’m gonna test how fast he is first, I guess I should hold back I little, Droz thought.

Droz swung with his sword and Gorin dodged it easily. Droz ran towards Gorin and missed. The Echo had jumped back, then forward and punched Droz in the stomach then again in the jaw. He tried once more to hit him in the stomach, but this time, Droz caught his punch and then pulled him in to grab him by the neck. Droz punched him once in the face and let him go flying into a wall. Droz picked up his sword off the ground and looked at the hole in the wall. After a few seconds, he emerged from it with almost no scratch on him. Droz looked at him in slight astonishment. Heh, I’m surprised he made out with only a few scratches scratch. I didn’t really hit him that hard though, this could be a little amusing, Droz thought with smirk.

Brolio and Rayu were walking the town; looking for their friend Droz.

“Where do you think Droz will be?” Rayu asked Brolio.

“I don’t know. Hopefully soon,” Brolio answered. Suddenly they heard a crash from a distance.

“What was that?” Brolio said.

“I don’t know, but it sounds like trouble,” Rayu said rushing over to where the sound originated from. Brolio quickly followed him.

OoC: You decide whether Rayu and Brolio appear in your post. If not, they’ll come during mine.

OOC: I'll let you have the other guys of yours appear in your post.

BIC: Droz tried to catch Gorin off guard with a hook kick. The Oblivion Master merely grabbed Droz's foot, finishing the move by flipping him.

Gorin put his foot on Droz's neck, careful to let enough air out of his windpipe to hear his responses to his mocking. The echo always loved to start of a conversation during a fight.

"You're tougher....than I...thought." choked Droz. The warrior suddenly slashed at Gorin's legs in a scissor-esque motion with his swords.

Gorin saw the attack coming and jumped out of the way, barely avoiding his feet being severred from his legs. Droz quickly stood up in case Gorin counterattacked.

"Hmph. This is a bit too easy." said Gorin. He had copied the ol' anger warfare trick from Kenjin. It worked quite a bit of the time.

"Droz! Is that you!" came a voice from the trees. Gorin turned to see that help had come for his opponent.

"Hmm, twice the fun for me." exclaimed Gorin.

Droz quickly turned his head to find out who it was that called his name. He saw that it had been Rayu whom had called him.

“Rayu, what are you doing here?” Droz asked looking back at Gorin.

“That doesn’t matter. It looks like you can use some help,” Brolio said looking over to the Echo.

“No, if I need your help then I’ll ask for it,” Droz said not taking his eyes off of Gorin. Droz charged once more over to Gorin. Droz swung his sword and Gorin dodged by jumping in the air. Droz let go off his sword and grabbed Gorin by the leg. Droz dropped the other sword and grabbed the same leg with his other hand. Droz then slammed Gorin to the ground with immense force.

Gorin quickly got back up and started attacking Droz. He hit Droz in the stomach, then in the jaw, and once more in the stomach. Gorin swung once more, but this time Droz caught it.

Droz tucked Gorin’s arm under his right one and hit Gorin in the face with his left elbow. Droz let go of Gorin’s arm and grabbed him by his neck. Droz then slammed him to the ground.

Droz brought up his other hand and it started to glow. Droz was about to shoot a magic blast, when a knife appeared in Gorin’s hand. It was a brownish color, as if it were made of rock. Gorin then shoved it through Droz hand and then kicked Droz off of him. Droz quickly sprinted backwards as Gorin got off the ground.

Droz lifted his hand with the knife in it and looked at it. Droz then grabbed it and pulled it out. The knife was stained with Droz’s crimson blood. Droz threw the knife to the ground and looked at the wound. Droz then looked over to Gorin who was looking back at him. Droz then gave Gorin a little smirk then inhaled deeply. Droz then exhaled and let out an abundance if gray flames from his mouth. The flames completely covered his hand. Droz then brought it back down to his side. After a few seconds, the gray flames were gone and it revealed his hand no longer had a hole in it.

OoC: You can delete your OoC post now.

Gorin stood with his arms crossed. This scuffle wasn't quite fun enough. The echo was going too easy on his current opponent to even call this a fun beating.

"You," he said, motioning towards Rayu. "Why don't you join us?" he asked. Droz turned to Gorin sharply. Was this thing so arrogant as to ask for more opponents?

"Why do you want more opponents when you can't even handle me?!" roared Droz. He charged towards the echo. Gorin didn't even seem interested as the warrior grew in speed.

"Please." said Gorin. The echo ducked down and leapt towards Droz. The Oblivion Master closelined the warrior in the stomach, forcing him to cough up what air he had.

The echo let Droz drop partway. Once the warrior was on his knees, Gorin sent him sliding towards his friends with a roundhouse kick to the back of the head.

"Now are you convinced that you need help?" asked Gorin. Droz stood up slowly, his allies helping him to get to his feet.

(Mikey B gave me permission to do this.) Onilink, try not using the character's exact names so much. For example this:

Oital leapt from the fortress wall. Oital stood up and faced Rutpacs. Rutpacs shot a spell at Oital, but he doged it. Rutpacs morphed his staff into his hands and raised them in the air. Rutpacs shot many smaller blasts at Oital...

Could become this less, um, repetitive piece:

Oital leapt from the fortress wall. The iron-clad warrior stood up and faced Rutpacs. The evil mage shot a spell at Oital, but he doged it. The dark elf morphed his staff into his hands and raised them in the air. He shot many smaller blasts at the orcish warrior who he was against...

OoC: You know, a simple PM would of sufficed. Oh well, I'll make sure to do that.

BiC:

Should I tell that guy that it was a lucky shot? Oh well, If he wants to fight all of us, then he’ll get the fight, Droz thought.

“You two feel like rumbling?” Droz asked them.

“Sure,” they both replied.

“Hold on. Go ahead and start the battle without me. I’ll be back in a few moments,” Brolio said as he walked into the hole in the wall, which was right behind them.

“What the? Doesn’t matter, we’ll make do without him,” the dragon said a little annoyed. “Come on Rayu.” Droz approached Gorin in a non-caring stride, his arms slightly swinging as he walked. The dragon gave Gorin a sadistic little smirk, a smirk he hasn’t given anyone since he was freed from the slave curse.

In a blink of an eye, Droz lifted his hand and a blast of magical energy flew from his hand and went in the direction of Gorin. The Echo quickly dodged it and the magic blast went in the direction of Rayu, whom had snuck around behind Gorin. The fire mage didn’t even flinch from the sight of the magic blast. The blast approached Rayu and it flew a few inches passed his head. A few more inches to the left and it would have hit him.

“Heh, nice hit Droz,” Rayu said. Gorin looked over to him as he said it, when he heard a noise. He quickly turned around to see Droz less then a foot away. The dragon then close lined the echo. Gorin fell to the ground only to rise back up and start an attack on Droz.

Gorin punched the dragon in the stomach and then he tried to punch him in the jaw, but this time, Droz caught the fist and hit Gorin in the jaw instead. The black dragon then punched the Echo in the stomach and then again in the stomach, but forgot he was still hanging on to Gorin’s arm. The Echo then grabbed Droz and pulled him in with incredible speed and then punched the dragon in the stomach. The speed of the punch combined with the speed of Droz coming in, made the strength of the hit bigger. Droz was quickly stunned by the amount of pain the punch held. Gorin was looking at Droz whom had taken a few steps back when the Echo was suddenly kicked in the side of the head by a dark brown boot. The Echo was knocked off balance, but quickly regained it. Gorin turned around to see the culprit was Rayu.

The fire mage was looking at the Echo agitated, but not very. Rayu wasn’t too fond of people hurting his friends. Rayu took a few steps back and lifted his hand. He put his fingers in a snapping position and then snapped them. A big red flame ball the appeared above his fingers. Rayu stared into the eyes of Gorin, who stared back. Droz looked on at the Echo and fire mage when he looked to the left, where the hole lay. Droz smiled and took more steps back.

The fire mage then threw the flame ball at Gorin was getting ready to dodge it when suddenly, a bottle of red wine appeared right in front of the Echo. The fireball and bottle collided and the bottle exploded. The red liquid in the air ignited and completely covered Gorin. Rayu quickly looked to his right to see Brolio with approximately four bottle of wine in his hands.

"Heheh, that was a bad idea on your part." said Gorin. The flames were seeping into the echo's very body, although some of the flames remained outside to burn him.

"The flames that had air pockets in them had part of the surroundings in them, thus I'm able to absorb them..." The Oblivion Master was still completely ablaze, but didn't seem to be harmed by all of the flames.

Gorin charged towards Brolio, but veered off to the side. The Oblivion Master continually charged towards one or two of his opponents, but always veered out of the way and ran around them.

"Quit the games and fight!" yelled Droz. This guy was really starting to get on his nerves. The echo stopped and smiled.

"You should pay more attention to your surroundings." he said. It was then that Droz noticed what he meant.

The Oblivion Master had created a flaming arena around the warriors, and arena which he himself could pass through harmlessly by reabsorbing the fire.

"Let's see what you've got."

“(Chuckles) A bunch of flames in a neat little circle ay? Thanks for the nice little setup here,” Rayu told the Echo.

“What are you talking about?” Gorin asked.

“Wait and see,” Rayu told him. Rayu stuck his hands in the air and something started happening. The flames at the sides started to get higher and higher. After a few seconds, Droz, Gorin, Brolio, and Rayu were inside a giant dome of fire. “In here I am stronger and faster. You have no chance in here,” the fire mage said breathing in very deeply.

“We’ll just have to see about that, won’t we?” the Echo said. A large amount of glass breaking sounds came from Brolio’s direction. Everyone looked over in the water mage’s direction to see he had thrown all of the bottles to the ground.

“Okay, there were two reasons why I did that. One, you know Droz and me are still here right? Two, I needed to break the bottles for this,” Brolio said. Brolio then looked at the red stain on the ground and yelled, “Droz!” Brolio yelled as a liquid appeared right under Gorin. Gorin quickly glanced down to see some water come up and cover his feet and most of his shin. The liquid then froze and kept Gorin in place. Gorin looked back up to see Droz punch him in the head. Droz had hit him so hard the very thick ice had broken and sent the Echo flying. Gorin hit the ground fairly hard, but got back up.

“Nice hit, now it’s my turn,” the Echo said a little agitated.

OoC: Tell me if I really didn't do your character right.

OOC: You did my character right.

Here's a tip for posting: Instead of saying: The echo said a little agitated. Say: The echo said, a little agitated.

BIC: Gorin absorbed a large amount of earth element from his surroundings. What he planned was going to be entertaining.

He allowed the three warriors to pummel him, barely fighting back at all. He didn't care about the damage he was receiving as the attack would be worth it.

"Why aren't you fighting back you theif?!" Shouted Droz. The warrior had noticed the decline in the Oblivion Master's attacks.

Gorin was kicked in the stomach by Rayu before giving his answer. He had almost enough earth element to do it...

"I have a little surprise for you, and your attacks don't hurt too much anyways." He mocked. In reality the attacks were damaging him, just not enough for it to be visible to them.

"Just a little more." The echo had just a few more seconds left before he'd have enough for the attack. If they survived the attack then they would have passed in his book.

"I wonder what they're reaction will be when I tell them this whole thing was planned out from the start. I knew that ninja would come in handy."

Finally! The echo had absorbed enough earth element for the attack.

Gorin leapt through the dome of fire, ignoring the burning heat. He landed at the top of one of the trees despite the fact that this attack would probably bring the tree down too.

"Maybe I should act like Kenjin and shout out a name for this attack." Thought the Oblivion Master. Mimicking the Encorna would add to the fun.

"Earth wave!" He shouted. The ground suddenly flowed as though it were a wave in the ocean. Trees were uprooted, animals thrown everywhere, and rocks sent hurtling into the air.

As the wave of earth approached the three warriors, they wondered what they could do to avoid being buried under it.

OOC: Next post is the last. After that, I'll post one more time with Gorin's final decision.

OoC: Wow, that’s probably the longest thing you’ve posted yet . Seriously though, that was kind of a short battle don’t ya think? I mean, this was the first time I was going to use Rayu’s newest ability (fire dome). Oh well, doesn’t matter, at least not anymore.

BiC:

Large, earthquake like sounds came from outside the fire dome.

“Rayu!” Brolio yelled over the sounds of the moving earth. Rayu instantly knew what Brolio was saying and forced the fire dome down. To the warriors’ surprise, they saw a large landslide like attack coming towards them. “Rayu quick put it back up!” Brolio yelled once more.

“I can’t. Not enough fire or energy!” Rayu said as he ran over to the black dragon and his fellow Wood Elf.

“What are we gonna do Droz?!” Brolio asked the black dragon. Droz looked to his left, over in the direction of the earth wave. Thinking quickly Droz sprouted his wings.

“Both of you! Get close to me now!” Droz yelled over the wave, which was now only a few yards away now. As the wood Elves approached, the black dragon grabbed them and flew into the air. However, the earth wave was too high and would still surely engulf the black dragon and the two Wood Elves. “I won’t be able to escape it!” Droz yelled out.

“You just keep going up! Let me worry about the rocks!” Rayu yelled out. The fire mage then put his hands in front of him and with the little energy he still within him, he unleashed one of his strongest attacks, the Fire Snake. As the rocks approached the trio, the snake like flame engulfed and disintegrated the rocks. Higher and higher went the dragon and Wood Elves whilst higher and higher went the snake.

After a long moment of mayhem, they had finally gotten out of range of the earth wave. They waited in the air for the wave to settle down. Droz looked at his friends. Brolio was looking down at the wave and Rayu had passed out from using too much energy. Droz looked around to see if he could see the Echo, but Gorin was nowhere to be found.

“Droz,” started Brolio, “The wave died down. We can go back down,”

They gently floated back down, Droz wings flapping just enough to make them down slowly. The trio had finally touched the ground. Brolio hopped out of Droz arms then grabbed and gently put Rayu on the ground. Brolio stood back up and faced Droz.

“What now?” Brolio asked.

"Hmhmhmhmmmm..."

The trio spun around to find that Gorin was chuckling slightly, clapping at the same time. Rather than looking like he wanted to fight the echo had a smile on his face.

"Congratulations, the three of you have passed," the Oblivion Master said. He whistled and the cloaked figure came back.

"Good show Nenshou." The echo said.

The cloaked figure shed its cloak to reveal a teenage boy. Nenshou bowed to the three warriors as a sign of agreement that they should join, and stood beside Gorin.

"What do you mean we passed?!" Yelled Rayu. He still expected the echo to suddenly attack.

"Nenshou here is unfortunatly leaving the Oblivion Alliance due to certain things going on in his homeland, and I needed somebody to replace him. I got three."

OOC: Sorry for the short post. If you don't post between the time I post this and the time I get home from school, I'll edit this to be longer.

"What?! You almost killed us and you expect us to join you?!" Rayu yelled out in protest. Rayu stood up and walked towards Droz and Brolio.

"Yeah, if that's how you get most people in your allience then I won't be surprised to see that there aren't many in it. I for sure am not joining either, right Droz?" Broloio aasked ht eblack dragon. For a few secondas, there was no answer from the dragon.

"Well..." Droz started.

"What! You're not seriosly thinking about joining are you?" Rayu aske him.

"Well who knows? This might be kind of fun. Yeah, I'll join," Droz finished with a smirk. At the same tim, both Rayu's and Brolio's jaw dropped. After a second, Brolio's jaw went back up, unluck Rayu whom stayed in his state of awe.

"I hate you right now Droz," Rayu said lowly. The dragon just chuckled at the fire mage's words and looked at the Echo.

"So, what's your name?" Droz asked the Echo.

"My n ame is Gorin and welcome. Welcome to the Oblivion Allience- uh Droz is it?" Gorin asked.

"Yes, Droz it is," Droz said while nodding his head.

OoC: If there's anything you'd like to add (like an ending). Go ahead an do that now. Also, when will be getting my banner for the Oblivion Allience?
