An ending and a new beginning... (Chibi Vi)

OOC: Welcome back to the Oblivions Chibi. Heres the two person quest I promised.

BIC: Varimathras. Gorin had finally found him. The echo's lost ally was hunting in the woods when Gorin found him.

"Varimathras?" called Gorin. His old ally turned to him. It seemed strange to both of them, but they both seemed to know exactly who the other was. Gorin already knew it was Varimathras, but was surprised at Varimathras' reply.

"Gorin... It's been a long time." Varimathras and Gorin stood face to face. Varimathras didn't seem any different than the last time the two of them had seen eachother, while Gorin was in a completely different body.

"You're one of the first people to recognize me." commented the Oblivion Master. The two of them stood in a motionless silence.

"Have you considered returning to the Oblivions?" asked Gorin. He hadn't seen his old friend in over a year, and was eager to have his alliedship again.

"I'm sorry Gorin, but I'm not the kind of man who likes to associate himself with groups. I've changed." replied Varimathras. The two of them stood silent for a few more minutes before saying their goodbyes.

They had said all that was needed to be said. Neither knew if they would ever see the other again, but both knew that it was likely for the best.

"Goodbye, old friend." thought Gorin. He had started his treck out of the forest when he heard a cackling laugh. A man in red clothing was standing on a tree branch.

"Long time no see Gorin." said the red clothed man. He held a silver staff, similar to the late Grasthos' staff. Gorin looked up towards the man.

"Toka, I thought you'd die when Grasthos died. I'm guessing you already know that you're the only one of Grasthos' minions left." said Gorin. He knew otherwise, as three beasts had escaped Grasthos lab on that day.

One of those beasts was dead. The Oblivion Master remembered teaming up with Nenet, a beutiful pirate that Gorin had feelings for. It was hard to believe that Toka was alive however...

"Oh, I'm not alone." said Toka. Gorin heard the rustling of leaves as he was surounded by mutated demons, Grasthos' trademark. Obviously, Toka had taken after his dead mentor.

One of the demons was suddenly killed from behind by somebody new. Another person had joined the fray...

OoC: K.

BiC: "Gurando Kouensuto-mu no Jutsu!" said the unknown ally. A tempest of flame stirred, burning and tearing some demons, though the others jumped away.
"600 vs. 1 isn't fair!" he said, jumping up and double spin-kicking two demons in the face. They flew back and slammed into the ground. Toka and all the demons were busy attacking him, so Gorin started monitoring his moves. He was too easy to read, doing the same kicks over and over. He was doing weird movements with his hands over and over, teleporting and kicking. When he teleported once more to a group of demons to kick them the exact same way he always has, his stance was a bit different. He moved his foot straight up, but teleported right behind the demon and smashed him in the back of the head. The demon flew to the side, combusting slowly. He wasted no time. He smashed demons upon demons with lightspeed punches, teleporting to the next one, smashing them, moving on. Gorin thought he should help now. He materialized two maces. Smashing demons after demons, they fought back to back. The unknown ally jumped up on his shoulders and did a backflip with two knives in his hands. He spun them around in a windmill and tore the three final demons apart. Smiling and whispering something to Gorin, he ran to the other side of him and took out a huge throwing star. He whispered Nenshou Kyoushu, the Burning Assassin.

OoC: they're fighting that dude with the staff now

OOC: Do you have a link to your character? I'm not doubting that your character exists, it's just that I'd like to see his profile.

BIC: "You're one for flashy entrances, aren't you?" commented Toka. The undead necromaster was making various signs with one of his hands behind his back.

"At least he isn't a fool who hides behind as many warriors and zombies as possible." commented Gorin. Toka finished the hand signs with a sneer.

"I may be a weakling, but at least I know when to give up. That's something both of you should be considering." replied Toka. The ground started to shake as a monstrous form tore its way out of the ground.

The beast was something all too familiar to Gorin. One of the three horrors, Grasthos' last experiments. This one was the creature that had attacked Gorin when he first met Nenet Miniya.

Nenet and Gorin had defeated the beast, so how could it be here? "Necromancy..." remembered the Oblivion Master. When Toka was alive he helped Jamenda to learn necromancy, and was a far better necromancer than Jamenda.

"Nenshou, or whatever your name is." said Gorin. The beast was shaking off the dirt. It had changed since their last encounter. It was now covered in spikes, and weilded a spear rather than a club.

"Yeah?" replied Nenshou. The beast growled and tried to decide which one to head towards.

"The name's Gorin, and I believe we have a common enemy at the moment." The monster prepared to attack whichever warrior moved first.

"I think so. Let's go get them." replied Nenshou. With that, the two warriors charged the monster.

Also, is this enemy a ninja?

OOC: Even though he isn't approved yet technically, I'll let you continue the battle with him. The enemy isn't a ninja. Toka is a necromaster, the highest form of necromancer. He has decent fighting skills but prefers to have his minions do his dirty work.

The beast is a large ogre-ish creature weilding a spear. It is incredibly strong, and due to Toka's magic it has grown faster than the first time it fought Gorin. The creature is large as well, so it takes quite a bit of damage to kill it.

OoC: I see.

BiC: Nenshou grinned. He did several handseals and chanted their names.
"Hebi, Ryu, Tori, Ryu, Hebi," he said, and when he stopped he put his palm straight towards Toka's beast. The flames blasted him back into the ground.
"Try again." Nenshou said, doing more handseals. The beast was up before Nenshou could finish the jutsu, and he was slammed to the side. Gorin materialized a warhammer and a sword and charged in. The beast swung its massive fist to Gorin, but he duck and struck it with the hammer in the ribs. It buckled over, howling in pain, and he jumped in the air and cut through its forehead. Nenshou, who was in the middle of a smashed tree, stumbled up. He took out a fuuma shuriken and unfolded it. First, he did handseal Oushi and made fifty clones.
"Shadow windmill!" he said, whirling the shuriken and letting them fly, fifty fuuma shuriken buzzing through the forest towards the beast. It dodged what would be where a gap was in the middle of two shuriken, but the shuriken split into two. The first seen shuriken dug into the thing's hip, though the other cut into his shoulder. It took them out and, raging, threw them to the ground and beat them until they snapped in two. Gorin didn't hesitate. He made a mace and ran in. First he smashed it in the stomach and it fell forward, then he spun around and smashed it to the dirt in the back of the head. It stood up and whacked Gorin into a nearby tree. Nenshou ran forward, his clones attacking the beast.
"You ok?" Nenshou said, helping Gorin up.
"I'm fine, let's go," said Gorin. Nenshou jumped to battle with Gorin.



OoC: Dun Dun Dunnnn

OOC: Is it just me, or has your writing style changed quite a bit?

BIC: Toka could tell that horror #2 wasn't powerful enough to defeat these warriors on its own, so he called in some backup. "Iruki, Shanz!!!" he yelled.

Two knightish, winged demons appeared in a cloud of darkness. Each one was slightly weaker than horror#2, but together they were a bit stronger. The two of them stalked forwards...

OOC: Sorry it's so unbearably short, I've had a lack of CJ lately...

OoC: I gotta do a short one too..But yes, would you say my writing improved?

BIC: Nenshou threw two fuuma at the beast and spun around in the air and threw two more, each one hitting the winged demons. All of his clones were destroyed. Gorin poised, making a sword. Nenshou threw kunai, one after one, darting the winged demons. Gorin took on the bigger one, swinging his giant sword down. The beast dodged it and struck, but Nenshou made about 300 clones get in the way first, stopping the beast's lumbering fist. It staggered and fell. Nenshou did a backflip and slid backwards a few feet on the land, back to back with Gorin.
"Time to kick it up a notch," he said, taking a scroll out of his pocket and chanting various words.
"Hold them off, when I'm finished...You'll see."

OOC: No offense, but I don't think it's improved.

BIC: Iruki and Shanz charged towards Gorin as the large beast poised itself for a counter-attack aimed towards Nenshou. The Oblivion Master had a few questions whirling through his head.

"How did Iruki and Shanz come back? Nenet incinerated both of them the last time I saw them... Who's this 'Burning Assasin'?" The echo didn't normally have so many questions whirling through his head, and found himself clipped in the shoulder by Iruki's sword.

Gorin ducked under an attack from Shanz. The demon's massive blade cut through the air over the echo, missing by centimeters.

"Who is Nenshou, and why is he helping me?" thought Gorin. Even though he was preoccupied fighting the two demons, he still found himself wondering several things. Most notably, "Who is Nenshou, and why is he helping me?"

OoC: Ehh, I dont care lol, but is it worse or the same..?

BiC: Gorin, half lost in thought, dodged the demons' attacks. Nenshou was tiring the beast, jumping around, occasionally throwing kunai and shuriken. When the beast was beginning to tire, Nenshou used the Great Fireball jutsu, a large fireball attack, that blew up when it hit the beast. It howled and staggered backwards. The clone poofed into white smoke as the real Nenshou, who was standing on a rock nearby, finished his chanting and handseals.
"Houka Ryu no Jutsu!" Nenshou said. He threw the scroll up in the air and it disappeared. Out of the ground came a huge dragon made entirely of flame. It lifted Nenshou up as it went. Shanz and Iruki stopped attacking Gorin to watch. Gorin, too, watched as the huge dragon lifted up from the earth. Nenshou, on the head, threw a fuuma shuriken at the befuddled beast below. It jumped up to dodge it and was washed back down by flame. Gorin thought about asking this ninja to be a part of the oblivion alliance, then realized they were in a fight. Gorin struck Iruki down with a quick punch. The demon growled in rage and Shanz struck in. Gorin was nicked in the same part of his shoulder, though his clothes regrew over it. He formed a sword and quickly struck the recoiling demon. It writhed over for a half of a second, just the amount of time Gorin needed to stab at it once more. Nenshou's dragon had already destroyed the deformed creature, so he unsummoned it. Looking up at Gorin, he saw the other demon rising to strike Gorin from behind.
"Cheapshots are not aloud," Nenshou said, attacking Iruki wielding a fuuma shuriken. Their weapons clashed behind Gorin's back. Gorin backflipped over Nenshou and struck Iruki's arm. Iruki swung a 360 degree horizontal slash, hitting Nenshou to his back and Gorin staggering back. Nenshou tried to jump up, but was stopped by Shanz's weapon. His arm was wounded badly from it. He staggered back and threw two shuriken at Shanz. The demon whacked them out of the way and charged towards him, intentions of finishing the wounded shinobi off.

OOC: I'd say it's gotten slightly worse. There's nothing really worse about it, it's just that you don't seem to find the need for seperating your posts into paragraphs anymore.

BIC: Nenshou closed his eyes as the sound of something sharp tearing through flesh echoed across the clearing.

"Hmph, why don't the two of you stay dead!" came a voice. Nenshou opened his eyes to find that Gorin had gotten in the way of the blow.

The demon's blade was deep inside Gorin's shoulder, his powerful muscles keeping the blade from going any deeper. The echo had a grimace on his face, but showed no other signs of feeling the pain.

Gorin had held one blade in front of him and thrown the other one. The result, Shanz had impaled himself on Gorin's blade, and the one the echo threw had stabbed Iruki between the eyes.

Both demons turned to dust and blew away. Gorin knew that this wasn't going to be the last time he'd have to face his former allies.

Toka was gone, the coward had seen his minions destroyed and knew that he would be next. Gorin and Nenshou were the only two people remaining in the clearing.

Suddenly, the Oblivion Master fell down to his knees. The sword had caused much more damage than the echo would admit, so he forced himself back onto his feet.

"That was a good job there..." Gorin said. Each word came with amazing agony, as the wound started to throb with more and more pain.

OOC: Meh, sorry for the short post.

OoC: Yeah i don't, lol..

BiC: Nenshou saw the wound and reached into his pocket. He pulled out an herb (Urb not Herb) and squeezed the juice from them onto his wound. Gorin clenched his teeth. The juice from the herb stung his wound.
"It'll help, don't worry," Nenshou said. The juice was fully inside his shoulder. Nenshou took out a bandage from his other pocket and slapped it over the wound.
"It will be fully healed in about six hours," Nenshou said.
"...Why did you help me? Gorin said.

OoC: Looks like we're both doing short ones.

"I was training in this forest. We were given time off from the squad, and I decided to come and train where the warrior Varimathras was rumored to live." Replied Nenshou.

Gorin felt something strange about this boy. He didn't quite know what it was. Some time finding out about this ninja warrior would be good.

"I saw that you were being outnumbered and wanted to help. Funny, I'm used to fighting in my squad." finished the Blazing Assasin. He stood next to the Oblivion Master as though he had no clue as to the echo's past.

Gorin nodded politely after Nenshou was finished. Could this boy be from the fabled ninja countries? He had heard of the countries and how their ninjas usually worked in squads. Until now however, he thought those were just rumors.

"He could be a valuable asset to us." the echo thought. Indeed, this boy was a powerful warrior for such a young human. Gorin decided to ask him the question...

OoC: Ok

BiC:
"Yes, I am of the Fire Country, I live in the Village Hidden in the Leaves, Konoha. Why"
"I never knew they were real...Say, Nenshou, would you join me in the Oblivion Alliance?" Gorin said.
"Oblivion Alliance?" Nenshou asked curiously.

Didn't really know how to do this post, but take it away!

"We're a team of powerful warriors. Mirorin the thunder elementalist, Latio the foxfolk, Nenet the female pirate, Isis the godess, Kain the vampire, and a few others." Replied Gorin. Allowing Nenshou into the alliance would bring good things to both of them.

Perhaps Nenshou could lead the Oblivion Master to his village one of these days. He could learn their ninja style, and mix it with the Ni'Tenchi style for the ultimate fighting style.

That, and the young ninja would be a powerful ally in his fights against the gods, the Encorna's knights, and Toka's forces. Plus the occasional Horror or Tainted Element mutant.

"Sure." Replied Nenshou. He extended his hand to Gorin. As the two grand warriors shook hands, trouble was about to stir in a far off land...

OOC: Maybe sometime we can do an Oblivion Alliance quest where Gorin, Nenshou, and a few other members go to Nenshou's village in order to help thwart an incoming invasion.

Or something like that.....
