A battle in the Bar (fighters already informed)

Ooc: ok this battle wil take place in a bar, and can gradually lead to outside. I will be using all three of my characters, Aristo, Valion, and Sudran.

Aristo rode down the street, careful to keep his horse away from the merchants to the left and right of him. He and his companions had been on the road for ten days, and he stomach was rumbling with anticipation of the meal it would be filled with soon.

“Are we there yet?” moaned Sudran, riding the horse behind Aristo.

“We will get there soon, the bars not far” Valion said from behind Sudran.

“Bar located 15 meters ahead” said R.V.

“We don’t need that observation, look” said Aristo, pointing to the small bar in front of them.

They slowly came up to the bar, which was named The Choking Snake. Below it was a picture of a snake, which was blue in the face. Sounds of music and laughter emitted form the doors. The three dismounted, and entered the bar. The noise stopped immediately, and all eyes turned to the three who had just entered.

“Bad vibe, very bad vibe” muttered Sudran to the others. They walked to the bar and sat down on the stools. Eventually the sounds and laughter returned.

“What will you be having boys?” said the bartender, who was a very old chap.

“Ill have a glass of whisky” said Aristo.

“Cup of your finest red wine please” Sudran said smugly, knowing that Aristo was paying the bill.

“Water please” Valion muttered, who had pulled his hood up as to not draw attention to himself.

After a while the three were drinking and watching the happening of a poker game to their left. Obviously there was a lot of cheating going on.

“The man on the far left is cheating” Valion muttered.

“How do you know that?” Aristo said.

“I can see more that what in front of me” Valion said, tapping his red eye.

“There all cheating” said Sudran, who had been paying much closer attention.

“let’s see if we can stop that” Aristo muttered to them. He gave three low whistles, and out of a mouse hole next to his foot came seven rodents.

“Find who’s cheating, find their extra cards and eat them” Aristo muttered to them, and they ran under the table.

For five minutes nothing happened. Then the players started losing, making moves they thought they could win if they had one more card. The three started laughing quietly, and turned back round to face the barmen.

“Wonder if there are uncollected bounty’s on anyone’s head in this place.” Sudran said aloud, and the other two were thinking the same.

The noise in the bar went silent again, and the three turned round to see several figures stood in the doorway.

“Well well well, looks like we can collect three bounty’s for the price of one” said one of them, and they jumped at three, who brought out their weapons in response, readying for the battle ahead.

Ooc: I'll be using Slag in my signature, but he's not one of the ones attacking your guys at the end of your post.

Bic:

The threesome were more than a match for the group of bounty hunters. At the end of the excuse for a match, one of the assassins lay on the ground unconcious while the rest of them ran from the bar into the street, licking their wounds like injured dogs.

The three happy warriors went back to enjoying their drinks, ignoring the questionable looks everyone gave them.

The door slammed open without warning; it nearly cracked in half at the sheer forcful entry. In the doorway stood a lone figure in a long black coat with a hood pulled tightly over his head. You could try all you want to, but all you could see under the hood was one single glowing red dot. Not a single part of his skin was visable, there was something this guy was hiding.

He looked around the room seeing that everyone was staring at him in fear. He enjoyed the looks he got, the looks that asked themselves if they would die that night.

The figure walked slowly over to the bar and sat down in the chair directly next to Aristo. He lifted his right arm and let it drop onto the table with a loud bang.

"What may I get you sir?" The elderly bartender asked kindly.

"Give me the strongest thing you got," A menacing voice shattered out from under his hood. "And then make it stronger." he finished.

The bartender raised an eyebrow, "I've got just the thing." he turned around and looked in all directions, making sure there were no guards in the room. He opened a hidden compartmen in a floor board and returned to the bar. "Here you go sir, the best of the strongest. Just don't tell anyone where you got it," The old man winked as he walked off to another customer.

The shrouded figure drank the entire bottle without taking a single breath. Afterwards, he slammed it back down on the table, cracking the bottle up the side, "I've had stronger," he informed, noticing that everyone was still looking at him. He gave them all the evil eye, and his evil eye was one you would not want to stare into too long.

Ooc: Heh, it seems I always leave it up to you to start the fight.

Ziran slammed the door to the bar open. This windigo was ready for a drink. Five bounties and all of them had escaped. One of them had beaten the living daylights out of him, what had his name been again? Oh yeah, Gorin.

"What do ya have that's high in both alcohal and cholesteral?" (OOC: Hehe, Simpson's reference) The bartender pulled out several different drinks. Not a single one appealed to the windigo.

"Anything else?" he asked. The bartender shook his head and jerked his thumb towards Slag.

"He took the last of the best stuff we've got." said the bartender. Ziran was feeling especially energetic and insane today, so he decided to ask the stranger if he would share his drink...

OoC: If you get to use three, then I get to use two. XD

BiC: Vetch kicked the door of the bar in, entering quite happily. Altra followed behind him, much more quietly. The elf and alchemist had met each other just yesterday, Vetch returning from a sea voyage, and Altra intercepting him at the beach.

The two were quite a contrast in character, but they liked each other. Vetch started walking up to the bar, but Altra grabbed his arm and pulled him over to a table in the corner. "Whats the matter?" Vetch ask. "Don't you want to sit at the bar?"

The Shadow Ninja Alchemist rolled his eyes. "Its too out in the open."

The elf shrugged and signeled a waitress. While he ordered the two of them wine, Altra looked around at the bar flies. Ugh. What a horrible place. Seeing the five obvious fighters at the bar, Altra slipped a hand inside his coat, resting it on his pouch of kunai. Just in case.....Hey....that guy with the red hair looks familiar....

OoC: For convenice, we'll say this is after Twilight in the Forest.

BiC: Vetch took their drinks from the waitress and handed one to the alchemist. "To grand adventures!" Vetch exclaimed, holding up his drink. Altra rolled his eyes, grinning slightly, but clinked his glass against the elf's. As the unlikely duo gulped down their drinks, a load crash came from the bar.

Ooc: Since everyone had more than one character, I guess I'll bring in my own bounty hunting duo, Ford and Mia.

The door to the bar opened once more, but this time two much younger people walked in. Everyone gave them strange looks since most of the people in the bar were much older.

The two walked forward slowly, the female one whispered to the male, "Ford, I don't like this place."

Ford patted her on the back, "Don't worry, Mia."

"I'm not worried," she smirked, "I just don't like this place. Everyone reeks of alcohol." she plugged her nose with one hand while fanning her face with the other.

Ford laughed silently as they sat down at a table, "Don't worry, we won't be here long, only long enough to ask about the bounties we're after." he made sure he sad this quietly so no one would hear him.

A bartender walked up to their table, "What may I get you?"

"Iced tea," Mia smiled sweetly. Ford had to keep himself from laughing.

The bartender rolled his eyes, "I'm sorry miss, we don't serve iced tea," A couple chuckles roused from the drunkards nearby, "May I recommend our swirling tonic?"

"Um, sure." Mia agreed, not knowing what the heck a swirling tonic was.

"How about you sir?" The bartender asked Ford.

"Same." he said, not knowing what a swirling tonic was himself.

He left to get the drinks as Ford and Mia looked around the room at the odd characters that swarmed the bar.

"Excuse me sir," An annoying voice asked from behind Slag, disturbing his silence, "Would you mind sharing your drink with me?"

Slag slowly turned in his seat, staring the windigo in the eyes. All the windigo could see was a red dot from under the hood. Slag said nothing, but answered Ziran's question by gulping down the last of the bottle he held.

Ziran shrugged. People these days weren't as cheery or charitable as they were 100 years ago...

He returned to the bartender. "I guess I'll have all the stuff you suggested, just mix it together." The bartender snickered as he filled various glasses with small amounts of different liquors, then mixed it all together in a single glass.

"Thanks." said Ziran. The bartender handed the powerful drink to the windigo, trying but failing miserably to hide a smile.

The wind user gulped down the drink as fast as he could. The bartender's eyes widened when Ziran didn't pass out from the alcohal mix. He was used to robbing anybody who passed out from the drink mix.

"Can I have some more?"

Valion watched in interest as the windigo drank the alcohol mix, amazed that he didn’t even wince or shudder, or do anything. Aristo and Sudran were talking quietly about how long they though they would live for, Sudran smugly knowing that he would live much longer than Aristo.

“You look in your thirties, while im already more than 4 times older than that” Sudran said, taking a long gulp from his cup.

“You might not live longer if you keep drinking” Aristo replied reaching for his drink, but accidentally grabbing the man with the red eyes newly ordered drink. He downed the contents in one, but didn’t notice it wasn’t the whisky he had ordered.

“Hey mister you just downed my drink, are you going to pay for it?” said the man.

“What are you talking about, my drink is here” Aristo replied, turning from his own conversation.

“I said are you going to pay for my drink?” The whole bar had gone quiet, and all head had turned in the direction of Aristo and the other man.

“No, I don’t think I will.” Aristo replied, and turned back to his conversation with Sudran. There was a sudden clang, like metal hitting metal, and Aristo turned round to see that Valion was stood behind him, his sword a few millimetres away form his back, and the red eyed man’s sword was balanced on it, as though Valion had blocked a blow form the red eyed man.

“You shouldn’t attack an opponent while his back is turned” Valion said, lowering his hood. Instantly Sudran was flanking Valion, his swords out and ablaze, with Aristo and Ziran stood behind them.

“Long time no see” Aristo muttered to Ziran, who nodded in reply. The bar had gone deathly quiet, and most of the customers were leaving rapidly. Soon there were only ten left in the bar, the bartender was hiding pitifully under the side of the bar.

“Nice to see you buddy” Sudran said, nodding to one of the people left, who was in a black trench coat.

The man with the red eye was laughing silently to himself, and brought down his own hood in response to Valion. He looked like the opposite of Valion, his right eye was red like Valion’s, and was made of metal.

“Looks like we found your twin Valion” Sudran said. Everyone in the bar except the bartender had drawn a weapon.

Slag chuckled, "I see you seem to have robotic parts as well, are yu in league with the rebelion of Earth?" Slag asked as his robotic eye locked onto the angel and gave him a few statistics and readouts.

"Rebelion of earth?" Valion asked confused as he studied Slag's robotic eye and ear. He also noticed that the mysterious stranger's sword seemed to be part of his arm.

"Yes, you must have used my stolen portal to travel to this time," Slag looked around at the other people opposing him, he locked on to each of them and getting some known statistics before returning his attention to Valion, "I know as a fact people of this era are not advanced enough to create cybernetic parts."

"I don't know what you are talking about, but I never used a stolen portal." Valion confirmed.

Slag's eyes darted around the room seeing the four who currently stood against him, "This is hardly fair," Slag said changing the subject, "Four against one, I'll beat you too quickly." the cyborg slowly removed his black trenchcoat and cloak, first revealing a metalic shoulder soon followed by the rest of the robotic arm, connected to his sword. As the cover fell to the ground, Valion also saw that his leg was robotic.

Valion smiled as he did the same, his wings outspread in a beautiful flash. He had about the same amount of robotic parts that Slag did.

"Impresive." Slag commented, "Just to make it fair, I won't use my rocket launcher." He smirked as he lept forward, striking first.

Ooc: Give Slag a break, it's four against one right now so lets make this last. Hyrulian Hero might join against Slag as well as my other two characters.

Bic:

*A few minutes before the fight started*

“No, I don’t think I will.” Aristo replied, and turned back to his conversation with Sudran. There was a sudden clang, like metal hitting metal, and Aristo turned round to see that Valion was stood behind him, his sword a few millimetres away form his back, and the red eyed man’s sword was balanced on it, as though Valion had blocked a blow form the red eyed man.

"Mia," Ford whispered to his ally, "Isn't that Slag?"

Mia sat for a moment, staring closly trying to see what the stranger looked like exactly. "I'm not sure," the cyborg's hood dropped, "Oh, yes that's Slag."

"I've got an idea, Mia." Ford smirked, "You know how Dark put a price on Slag's head at the bounty office?"

Mia nodded, "I see what your talking about, we bring Slag in alive and Dark will pay us. Afterwards we will finally find him again, thus giving us a chance to bring in Dark, the ultimate bounty! Your a genius Ford!" She jumped from her seat as Slag attacked Valion.

Ford smirked as he jumped forward to help as well.

Vetch leaned over and whispered in Altra's ear. "You know him?"

"Yeah, we fought really recently." The alchemist replied, softly clapping his hands together under the table. He passed his left arm over his right arm, transmuting a blade over it. He slipped his left arm under his coat and grabbed three kunai. "Vetch. Draw your swords."

"Flachions."

"Whatever."

There was a soft scraping sound as the elf releashed his weapons from their sheaths. The two simultaniously leapt over their table as all of the fighters in the tavern leapt into a fray. Vetch ducked under a random sword swipe and jabbed the hilts of his weapons into Slag's stomach.

The cyborg backhanded him away. Altra flipped over the soaring elf and brought his metal fist into Slag's face. As the cyborg staggered, Aristo brought his whip around and grabbed his arm. The man yanked Slag forward again, so that Vetch, back for his revenge, could grab the cyborg's face and freeze it over.

OoC: Wow. Poor Slag.

Slag spun around and brought a sharp slash to Vetch's hand, cutting only the surface of the skin but sending him back. He soon found that the wound stung with energy of some sort.

Slag wasn't one to underestimate his opponents; he now had the chance to lock onto the rest of the newly joined combatants. He could now read some statistics and abilities they could perform. Many of them had magical abilities, but nothing to serious for Slag to handle.

Altra jumped toward him as their weapons clashed together, Slag performed a roundhouse kick which knocked him to the ground. Slag quickly detached his arm and attached it to his belt as he pulled out his energy shell repeater and attached it to his arm socket. He activated his jet leg as he jumped backwards toward the door, firing a constant stream of bullets into the group. Several of the people in the bar died while others only wounded.

Before Slag's gun did too much damage, Valion brought his cybernetic wing in front of himself and the others, protecting them from the dangerous pellets of energy. As soon as Slag finished firing, Valion leapt toward him, but there was no way for him to dodge Slag's laser eye. With powerful blast, Valion was knocked back to the rest of the group.

Even while Slag activated his laser eye, he had already switched his arm to his grenade launcher. He aimed toward the center of the people who opposed him and fired a single explosive into the middle of the mess. All of these warriors were quite skilled and jumped out of the way before in exploded. Slag jumped out the door behind him, watching mercilessly as the ceiling collapsed on top of them.

But unfortunately for Slag, it didn't crush them. "They have skill." Slag thought to himself, but he knew that the hardened warrior that he was was more than a match for them. He had fought countless enemies by himself and escaped unscathed without even using his robotic weapons. He overran Earth only with a handful of ships and some strong warriors. This small group may do a good number on him, but he knew there was no way he could die, not after everything he had gone through.

The way the warriors had survived was that Ziran's horn was vibrating, he told everyone to leave the building as Sudran blasted through the wall. Everyone was safe, save for the bartender who was crushed in the act.

"No way!" Ziran shouted in anger, seeing that a perfectly good spot for drinking had just been crumpled to nothing.

During the collapse, Slag switched his arm to his ordinary blaster arm. Without a word he fired several rounds toward the awaiting group.

OOC: Sorry guys, I'm dropping out. Ziran seems to be to me as Apollo was to Quark. I'll still use Ziran from time to time, but nothing really.

BIC: "Screw this!" yapped Ziran. He was still weak from the beating he took from Gorin less than two hours earlier, and all he wanted to do was sit and drink.

"See you guys, all I want is a drink." he said. With that, the windigo flew off. Everybody was momentarily surprised by the windigo's sudden choice to leave.

OOC: Meh, I'm going to have a new character soon. The new character will take the places of both Ziran and Darges. Darges is just plain..meh, and Ziran's only good for comic relief in quests.

If my new character is approved before this battle ends, I might rejoin it with the new character. Until then, adios amigos.

“Well, that was a quick reunion” Aristo muttered, and jumped forward with Sudran, dodging the shots from the blaster. Valion got to Slag first and brought a mechanical arm straight into the side of Slag’s face, leaving a giant dent in it. The man/robot yelled and brought up his mechanical foot up into the angel/robot’s stomach, winding him. But this had given the others a chance to attack, and Sudran brought down a flaming sword into the side of Slag’s leg, cutting it deeply. Aristo followed up with a flaming kick to the back of his head. Grabbing Valion by the arms, Sudran and Aristo moved him back from the fray, where the other fighters were taking a chance and attacking with all their might.

“Are you alright” Aristo said, checking the dent in the middle of Valion’s body. The angel grunted in reply, still not being able to respond.

“Looks like that kick id a lot of damage” Sudran said, eyeing the dent.

“Ill be fine, but he won’t” Valion gasped, and jumped up from the floor. He built up two balls of energy in his hands, one blindingly white, and the other lightning blue.

“MOVE!!” Valion shouted, everyone turning to Valion. They all moved immediately, except Slag, who was still a bit dazed from the giant attack. Valion focused every little bit of energy he had into his hands, and fired two beams of energy directly at Slag. The beams connected moments before they hit, forming a bigger beam, which hit Slag directly in the chest, exploding on contact with him.

“Check and mate” Valion muttered, his systems shutting down, making him pass out.

Ooc: PWNED!!! It may have cost me a character, but that beam was one of my ultimate weapons, doubt your character will be as mobile and vicious now.

Ooc: Slag would have been able to see that coming, his robotic eye would have picked up on it. It seems everyone is underestimating my characters lately.

Bic:

Slag stood to his feet surprisingly fast. He had turned just as the energy beam hit him and moved hit robotic arm in the way, his mechanical arm was blown clean off, not to mention the dangerous gash in his right side. Slag checked the stats on Valion who's energy was down to zero. "That was a good trick, but it looks like your friend is out of commision." he smirked.

"Will this guy ever die?" Aristo growled.

Slag pulled off what remained of his robot arm and attatched his energy sword arm once more, each of his opponants he had a lock on, there was no possible way they could leave his sight without him knowing exactly where they were.

Ooc: It's short, but I g2g

Edit- Sorry that I sounded like a fat Donkey Hole, I've had a long stressful day.

OOC: Hey guys. Just posting to see if I can rejoin the fight with my new character whenever a certain approver *coughPowerShotcough* notices that I posted in the character approval thread after he asked me to edit the char a little.

Altra turned just enough that he could catch Vetch's eye. The elf was already doing the same thing. They nodded slightly to each other and sprang into action.

Altra ran at Vetch, leaping into the air. The elf caught his foot with both hands and launched him high in the air. The alchemist transmuted his arms, swords appearing over his hands. The ninja came down, his feet slamming into Slag's face, knocking his arm away with his own.

The cyborg grabbed the alchemist's foot with his regular arm and swung him around, heaving him back towards the group. Immeadiatly, Slag noticed at least two of the group had snuck away.

Suddenly, he was pelted from behind by a barrage of ice missiles. He turned and charged at Vetch, slicing at the misslies with his laser sword. The cyborg slashed viciously at the elf, causing him to abandon his attack and go on the defensive.

The elf ducked and dodged the cyborg's attacks, occasionally countering with his own. Slag knocked away Vetch's weapons and pulled back his arm to run him through, but a bladed-whip wrapped around his elbow joint. Slag pulled at the whip, Aristo doing the same, leaving the two locked in a struggle for control.

While the cyborg was destracted, Vetch summoned concentrated fire energies around and in himself, transforming into his full fire form. Fire burst into exsistance around his body, engulfing and consuming it. The flames molded themselves to him, and receded.

The sudden roar of flames regaining his attention, Slag turned his head to see a Vetch wholey and completely of fire. The fire-Vetch smiled wickedly and held his arms out in front of him, shooting twin roaring jets of flame at the cyborg.

Ooc: That's a good post Hyrulian Hero.

Mikey b, hopefully your character could give Slag a hand.

Bic:

Slag activated his laser eye and the two missiles exploded instantly, he turned his attention back to Aristo who's whip held his arm in place. He activated his laser eye which pelted Aristo to the ground, freeing his wrist. Vetch fired several more missiles towrd Slag who easily destroyed them with his laser eye again. But that was merely a distraction for Altra.

Altra grabbed three Kunai from its pouch and threw them toward Slag. Slag still had Altra locked and knew he was doing something behind him, he dropped to the ground and turned around as he slashed a Kunai away. At the same time, his laser eye blasted a second one from the sky, but the third one got through and inbedded itself in Slag's shoulder.

Slag growled in pain as he pulled it out and threw it at Vetch who barely dodged it. Slag spun around to Sudran who was firing fireballs at him, these he couldn't blow out of the air with his lazer eye, so he was forced to hit them back with his energy sword.

Ooc: Slag's weakness in defence is in melee, but he had extreme accuracy which allows him to do this without much trouble.

Bic:

Ford and Mia made their first attack on the cyborg, Ford ran forward, swinging his sword while Mia already began to fire arrows at the fiend. Slag activaded his laser eye to cut through the arrows, but Ford was already in front of him with his sword raised. Slag swund his arm up in the air, just barely knocking the weapon out of the way. Things were getting quite intense, but nothing Slag couldn't handle. His wound in his side still hurt horribly however.

OOC: Heh, I'm sure he will if Slag mentions Gorin. If you're confused, which you probably are, read "The dark child" in the character approval page. You guys just continue the fight until my new char is approved.

OoC: Uhhhh...missiles? They were flame jets. Like flamethrowers.

Ooc: Well that makes me look stupid, you refered to them as missiles more than once and I think I was getting your character confused with another one. My apologies.

OoC: That was him, but that was when he was shooting ice missles. Like ice-sicles, or ice-daggers, or ice-spears.....you get the idea.
