Practice battle (greatgibdo)

Mitch paid for his nightly stay and walked out of the inn. He then headed for the forest in the east. The Zora admired the fall scenery as he wandered. Sure, he had seen the leaves changing color but he had never been surrounded by their colors in a naturally beautiful forest. The perfect, yet natural, arrangement of, red, yellow, orange, brown and green leaves, and the golden rays of sun that came in small shafts through the branches and lit up the carpet of fallen leaves, were so appealing that Mitch didn’t care where he ended up, in fact, he didn’t even care had no clue where he was going.

Even the animals seemed to be taking advantage of a nice morning. Deer wandered through the trees, keeping their distance from the unfamiliar creature in their domain, birds chirped, adding music to the crunching of leaves and trickle of a stream. Occasionally a squirrel passed overhead and once a completely out of place monkey.

A monkey? We aren’t anywhere near the tropics! Mitch thought as he perused the strange critter.

Eventually he found a clearing. It was pretty much the same as the rest of the forest, minus the trees, except for the increased volume of the stream and the figure in the center…

OoC: Okay greatgibdo you need to tell how your character gets to that clearing and you can end it there or start a conversation with Mitch winding up to a (friendly or not so friendly fight) fight. Both are acceptable but don’t really get started with action and remember this battle doesn’t have to connect with anything. However, if you want to do that go ahead, it’s just not for me.

You don’t have to reply immediately or even within a week, take your time and do a good job.
