Battle by Moonlight (2 on 2)

Ooc: ok this is a straight 2 on 2 battle. I will be using my character Valion.

Valion soared above the ground. He loved to fly, since this was one of the things angel did most, and he got to do very little. He had had the urge for a while, but couldn’t unfold his wings in front of the humans. He had flown a great distance and now was over a giant grassy plain. It was nearly midnight. Valion swooped low, scaring a fox, laughing as he did so.

‘This is great, I love this!’ Valion shouted.
‘You are going to get us caught, please return to ground level.’ Replied R.V (Robot Valion)
‘Nonsense, there is no one about for miles’
At this remark there came a sudden jolt in his mechanical arm.
‘Please return to ground, I will do that again’
‘Ok, ok, sheesh’
Valion started hid descend to the top of a mild hill.
‘Why do you hate me to fly?’ Valion asked.
‘I have read your memories, you died while in flight, it could happen again.’ R.V muttered.
‘That will never happen. You worry to much. Nothing bad can happen here.’ Valion replied

But as if to contradict him, a shadow appeared in front of him.

OoC: I will join. I'm going to use Samantha

BiC:
Samantha had heard a faint whistling noise on the wind. She looked up into the sky and saw what looked like an angel... although he looked half-robotic... heading towards her!
"Looks like I've got company," she opened her own, feathery black wings, and flew up to meet him.
She readied her Halberd and at the same time, she fired her Wings of Terror, multiple black "crows" flew up at Valion, cawing loudly. She then pulled her halberd back and prepared to swing should her come near.

OoC: I'll join up, I love 2 vs. 2 fights, we just need the teams, I'll leave it open with a short, but meaningful post.

BiC: Rio was walking through the plains of Crotia (Just needed to give stuff a name (lol)). The gental breeze was barely swaying the stalkes of grass, giving the setting a heaven like backdrop. As he walked, he noticed that he was leaving a path in the grass behind him.

"Better fly, don't want anyone follwoing me", he drew his sword and sheild and said some quick chants to cast a gravity sheild, making him float, and a wind spell creating a small gust to carry him about. As he was relaxing, enjoying the break from walking, he noticed a shift in the wind patterns.

"That's not right, I controle the wind here..." He drew his sword and landed on the ground, croutching behind a fallen tree. He scanned the area for any sign of the source, nothing. Than he noticed that the wind was falling, hitting one area of the grass, flatening it, and thandispurcing itself, like ripples in water. He looked up and lo-and-behold, there were two distance birds fighting.

He zoomed in on them, they were far away, yet the wind was carrried a great distance. What he saw made him quickly put away his sword in awe. Two angels, fighting.

"Angels are creatures of peace and love," he thought to himself, "not fighting and hatered." He zoomed in more to discover that these were no ordinary angels. One had black wings, as if it was the devil himself...

OoC: lol, I'm Jewish and I'm refering to the devil, classic!

BiC:The other looked as if it was half machine, half angel. Just than a bunch of black crows shot out of the black winged angel, Rio knew he had to do something. "Maybe she can help me get home... She looks like an angel after all..." (see profile).

"Expede, Expede, Expede," Rio chanted as he drew back an arrow, carefully aiming it, "LIGHTNING!" The arrow shot out of his bow and soared up to the conflicting angels. The arrow hit one of the crows, bursting out in bolts after impact. The crows vanished, both angels looked around dumbfounded. Rio thoguht it best to keep hidden, but they already saw him.

They both started to fly over to him, apparently dropping their fight for the mean time. The black winged one landed infront of him, he was readally gripping his sword, awaiting her first move...

OoC: Yea, short, pff. So I tried to set it up so that Rio could be on Valion's team, or Valion and Samantha could team up on Rio... we'll let the last person decide that.

The air was cool in the midnight stroll Tuariv had decided to take, it wasn't often that he was given peace. The breeze was nice, the large warrior closed his eyes, simply feeling the air on his face. Then the breeze picked up, more and more. "Huh, that's odd." Tuariv muttered softly to himself.

Walking up over a small hill he saw what had brought up a bigger breeze, sounds of fighting were only a few yards away. Two strange creatures were flying in the air, another stranger with a sword and shield on the ground. The two flying ones clashed against each other while the one on the ground shot a bolt of magic at one of them.

"Hmm," Tuariv smiled a bit, "young warriors begining to taste the battlefield, I'll just leave them be."

No sooner had Tuariv finished than something hit him, the stranger without wings had been smacked high into the air, and just as Tuariv had turned away to keep walking the stranger landed on the hulking warrior.

Tuariv snarled and grabbed the stranger by his neck, "What is your problem?"

"Another being of evil? I shall smite you!" It said.

Tuariv narrowed his eyes and simply tossed the stranger across the grass, nearly ten yards, saving the rest of his strength as a surprise.

Ooc: ok the teams will be Valion and Rio vs Tuariv and Samantha.

Bic: The metal man landed next to Valion, who was once again locked in combat with the black winged angel.
‘You are not a proper angel’ Valion muttered to the girl through his gritted teeth.
‘Half angel, like you, your part robot’ the girl replied smirking as she did. Valion jumped back, bringing his sword down with incredible strength, nearly breaking the girls halberd. But he had planned her blocking this. Suddenly lightning blue energy surged down from robotic arm into his sword, which in turn went into the girl’s halberd, giving her a shock.
‘That wasn’t very nice’ she said, running at Valion with her halberd out in front.
‘Evasion mode, work at 50%’ Valion muttered under his breath.
At the last second he move to the right as she charged passed him, and brought his leg up into her stomach, knocking the wind out of her.
‘Shouldn’t have messed with me for no reason’ Valion said smirking. But as he turned around to see how the other battle was going, one of the people was flung into him, making him fly into a nearby tree.

OoC: Of topic, but my DS has been actin really weird just recently...

BiC: Samantha rolled onto the ground, and lay for a moment, catching her breath.
"That hurt,"she said, getting off the ground.
She waved her arms, allowing mystical powers to take control.
"Icy Coffin," she breathed.
Her wings flapped and she placed one hand on the ground.
"This place will be your grave," she hissed, as the icy wave shot at the two.

Okay, if ii'm doulbe posting, I'm sorry, I'll delete the old one. Just wanted to let everyone know, my relitives are down,. and I have finals this and nex week, so I wont beable to post anytime soon... Scoria, your up!

There was a voice as Samantha sent out her magic, "Expede, expedo sound!"

Rios sword glowed silently and then the andriod swung, it emitted a very sharp near unhearable sound, cracking the ice that threatened him and the half angel beside him. It was a short victory though, quickly out of no where Tuariv lunged into Rio and the two tumble together in a heap as one tried to get away while the other attempted to slash the other.

Tuariv succesfully left many marks on Rios chest, specifically near the eye. The andriod cringed for a moment but was able to push Tuariv away for a minute. The lizard rew his claymore and brought it down upon Rio, but the andriod blocked with his shield and retaliated with a swipe of his own sword.

"I shall smite you evil demon!" Rio said rather loudly.

"Shutup." Was all Tuariv had to say, he didn't really care what the andriod said. He was neutral after all, just looked somewhat evil.

The battle was never on Valion’s side. He had just been trying to land, but nothing ever went right for him. He had taken flight in order to regain his breath from the attack of the ice, but suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his left wing. He turned round to find the woman once again shooting the birds at him.

‘Analysis of birds R.V’ Valion muttered, bringing up his sword to attack the birds that were now encircling him.

’Analysis shows that these are not real creatures, they feed on the highly spiked biometric patterns of the brain, what you call fear, and grow in size when they do’ R.V replied casually.

‘They feed on fear, hmm pretty useless against one like me’ Valion swung his sword around, destroying most of the birds in one go. He flew straight at the woman, who was summoning what looked like lightning, and threw it at him. The moment it hit him, he felt better and more powerful.

‘That attack was pretty useless’ Valion laughed, bringing his sword out in front of him.

‘That was a distraction’ the girl laughed, and the lizard suddenly jumped at him out of nowhere, knocking to the ground.

‘Look what I knocked from the sky’ the lizard said, bringing his claymore down at Valion.

"Expedo, Expedo, GRAVIT-!" Rio shouted after chanting his spells, but he was too late, the lizard's claymore pounded into Valion, Rio thought it was to late. The lizard got up with a smirk on its face coming toward him. Rio thought it was over, but than he noticed Valion give a suttle, suttle thumbs up. He barely notcied it himself, but he was sure he saw it. He had his gravity spell ready to cast, but at whom. my one weakness Rio though to himself. [i] I have to make a decision! Send it on Tuariv and save myself from a brutal beating, or send it on Samantha, so that I don't get those bird on meyslef.[i/]

His weakness showed though, and Bird's came towards him from samantha, and the claymore was ready to kill him. The first bird hit him, he felt pain even through his metal suit. Its like they were peaking at his soul, his thread of life, his meaning for existance. More and more came, this was all happening to fast for him. They swarmed around him, Tuariv stoped. Valion lifted himself up, seeing two things.

His cybertronic arm had a huge dent in it, and was mostly obliterated, and his allie was swarmed in a black cloud of birds. He got himself up, and most unfortunately Tuariv saw this. Valion's first instinct was to fly, but not in this condition.

Chance of both surviving is less than 10%, exicuting primary defence weaponism said R.V. to his other self.

But before they could cast their metal and holy spell, another thing happened, they were stuck to the ground, as was...everything.

The only thing left was Rio, who sortly collapsed on the ground.

Gravity x85 in a 300ft (app. 100m) area, that's new...

All of the bird were on the ground, everything was flat, trees were ingrained into the earth, grass was almost pointing upsidedown, and slowly, the pressure realesed. Samantha was the first to get, shacking herself, and her black wings off. She felt fine, just letting the blood flow back to her arms and legs.
Next came Tuariv, he seemed nausious. Than Valion, proping himself up on one arm, and lastly Rio, who knelt, not accepting loosing.

"We have the advantage Tuariv, we must strike now!" Samantha said, reading her Halberd as Tuariv, lifted his claymore.

OoC: Now i'm thinking of ending it here, but that would leave my team on a HUGE disadvantage, so I'll continue on just enough to make it some-what even. If I must, I'll edit this later

BiC: That had to be a dark attack, it just had to, well I have a fix for this! "White Lightning!" Samantha souted at Rio.

The blast hit Rio directly, lighting everything up, Rio noticed this coming and firmly planted his hand on the ground. System Rechared, rebooting sub processers, rebooting active RAM, rebooting memory, rebooting main motors, rebooting cybernetic implants, rebooting visor. . . . . . . . . . . . . . all processes complete, booting up main systems.

"My evil was purged from me long before you!" Rio said as getting up, his motors winning from the overcharge.


"Impossible, even if you didn't have evil, that's way to many volts to stay alive" TO this, Rio simnply tapped his suit, and the ground, practially taunting her.

OoC: Yea, we are going to be killed b/c both of us posted in a row, so i'm usggesting either one Sc, or BT post, than one of us (me and IA) post a SHORT post just to even thigns out. Yea, full system recharge rules!

P.S. Sorry about the spelling, I didn't get the new spell check feature b/c 'im on firefox, and my word is not workign. I'll edit it later, b/c the new editing r0XX0r$!!!!

OoC: Oh, oh! Pick me! Pick me!

BiC:
Samantha was grinning, so what if he was recharged? "Big deal," she said, "just makes the battle more fun in the end! Especially when I win!"
She readied her Halberd and flew at Rio. She swung the large axe, though he dodged it narrowly, he felt the wind as it passed him by.
"Time to end this," said Samantha, she turned her back to him only slightly, but this left her with a moment of weakness.
"YEOWCH! WHAT THE-?" Samantha screamed. Rio had just used his sword to slice off one of her wings.
She screamed, laid on the floor, nothing but a bleeding stump was left where her wing had just been. Red liquid sprayed everywhere. As she screamed, White lightning erupted from her eyes and mouth, the pain being too much to keep control over the lightning. She gasped as the lightning faded. Her eyes closed and opened. She was breathing heavily. The bleeding was only slightly slowing, her other wings was spassing as though scared that it would too be ripped off, like its comrade.

OoC: Note, you shouldn't be doing OoC in the middle of your posts.

BiC:

Tuariv snorted out tiny bit of smoke out of his nostrils, "Weak. I'll have to teach the newbies how it's done."

Breathing slowly the lizard took a stance and then ran and rammed into Valion, grabbing his robot arm and slamming him into the ground. There was a cracking sound and finally it parcially snapped off, the lower half of the arm, gone.

Tuariv kicked Valion away across the grass, looking over to Samantha, her crumpled body bleeding. "I'll mull over whether or not to even waste my powers on you," he turned to Rio, "but first, you."

The lizard let his tounge hang out as he dropped to all fours and dashed forward, using his strength to defy the powerful pull of gravity.

‘Major damage to cybernetic arm, power low, 10 minutes to complete shutdown’R.V shouted loudly in Valion’s brain.

Valion looked at his left arm, trying to asses the damage the lizard had done. His left arm was a mess of wires from his elbow down, with his arm lying a foot away from him. Luckily it didn’t hurt him at all. He looked over to the blacked winged angel to see that she had had one of her wings severed. This wasn’t right. Blood was now splattered everywhere. This fight shouldn’t have happened. Valion slowly crawled his way to the women who was steadily bleeding to death.

‘R.V, take a bio scan of her’ Valion quietly, hoping not to draw attention to himself.

‘Scanning… massive rupture in left wing, blood loss is at a critical level, heartbeat fading, analysis is she will not survive’ R.V said quietly as his power was drained.

Valion wouldn’t let her die, she may have attacked him, but she didn’t deserve death. Valion reached down his shirt and brought out his time pendant. He pressed his arm against her sliced off wing and focused what little energy he had into the pendant, moving back time. Suddenly his arm reappeared, full and undamaged and the woman’s wing reattached itself, whole and undamaged. The blood she had lost regenerated itself, and within a matter of moments, her breathing returned to normal.

‘Life signs returning to normal, she will be unconscious for a few more minutes, but will be alright’ R.V said, his power fully regenerated.

‘Right, now lets deal with that lizard’ Valion said angrily, picking up his sword and running at the lizard, who was locked in combat with the other man.

OoC: First, I accidentally hjit the back button, so my long post was gone, second its really not like RIo to kill someone (should have read his bio more closely ), and lastly, this post will be MUCH shorter than intended due to having the long one deleted, and lots of math HW.

BiC: Rio felt ashamed. HIs sword was stained with the blood of an angel. I entered this battle to save a life, and I ended up taking one myself. This massacure is my fault, and my fault alone. If it were not for Valion healing Samantha, Rio probably could not live with the fact that he took another life, especially one of an angel.

OoC: Did Valion heal Samantha, or send this whole battle back in time, or just send them two back in time? I'm so confused!

BiC: Before Rio knew what happened, Tuariv pounced on him. his claymore almost smashing Rio's sheild.

[i]Probablity of winning in the next 5 minutes high, attack now![i] R.V. told himslef. With Sam out of the picture, Valion raised his sword, and rushed Tuariv, Tuariv dodged it, but Rio than double teamed him,

"Expeda, Expeda, water!" The gem on his sheild blinked, and a split second later, water formed a dome around Rio and rushed out in all directions, thinking as it went. Tuariv got hit, and lost his balence.

"Ha, is that all you got, so I'm wet, big deal!" Tuariv shouted.

"And that's the point, expede, expede, expede," Rio chanted, drawing back his bow with an elemental arrow in it, "Lightning!" The gem in the bow blinked as Rio realesed the arrow hitting the ground infront of Tuariv. the wet ground conducted the electric spark perfectly, and was headed stright for the drenched Tuariv, that would make just as nice of a conducter!

BiC: Yea, that's all I got, and sorry everyone for kinda God-modding Rio a few posts back, I got kinda carried away.

Tuarivs eyes narrowed, slamming his claymore into the ground he double timed it away from the lightning and jumped off the ground. The claymore sat there in the wet dirt, making an even better conductor than because it was made of metal.

Looking to both of his sides tuariv saw Rio coming from the left and Valion coming from the right, he snorted out a puff of smoke, "Two on one? That hardly seems fair."

He slammed his hands into the ground creating a large dustball, obscuring everyones vision. "Can't hit what you can't see."

As the dustball cleared away Tuariv was no where in sight, he had completely vanished into thin air.
