Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
OoC: I chose a completely different battlefield than normal.
BiC: Krush read the mind of an older man, the young Kryptonian was playing poker in small group of five, he was winning. Alright, four aces, I'm sure to win this time. Krush smirked, Heh, sucker. All the men laid down their cards, then Krush put his down, a Royal Flush. A groan went out through all of them, Krush smirked again, he won plenty of money this round. "Excuse me sir, a letter for you." A young womans voice said behind the Kryptonian. He turned to see a waitress with a piece of paper in her hand, "Thank you." Krush had been sitting in the local inn, the legal drinking age was eighteen so he was fine. Opening the letter Krush read it- Dear Krush, I have heard of you and from some rumors you sound like a very capable ally. I have established a group of warriors that includes some of the most talented. However, not all can join. You have a lot of strength, if you wish to join us ask around in the town you're in for Tuariv Knil. Be ready to fight, he'll be waiting for you. Be warned, he's extremely deadly. Sincerely, Kenjin the Encorna. Krush reread the letter, "Sorry guys I have important business now." The young man stood up and after tipping the waitress left the inn. The town was a big one, more of a bustling city than any other. Buildings loomed overhead, pearly white color was everywhere in the bright sunlight. Taking in a deep breath the Kryptonian made his way around to a more of lowlife bar than the inn he had just been playing cards in, lots of rumors to be had in a place like that. Krush searched for a few moments, it didn't take long to find one next to an alley. It was a below ground bar with booze filtering out from the door. Krush took one last deep breath and plunged in. Smoke filled the air mixing with all kinds of beer and the stench of people who hadn't bathed in days. The only clean looking person was a lone bartender filling mugs and cleaning them as well. "I'll have an ale please." Krush asked. "Sure." The bartender replied. Upon further inspection of him the man had an eyepatch and grizzly beard, "Here ya go." Krush guzzled it down, then ordered another one, "I need some information." The Kryptonian said, "Have you heard of someone named Tuariv Knil." The bartender finished filling the mug for the second time and passed it to Krush, "Yeah I heard of 'em. What's it to ya?" "I have a... meeting with him." "Well you best not be, they say he be pretty dangerous. But if you must he be up in the clock tower in the center of the city." Krush gulped down the second beer and passed some money to the bartender before making his way out. The center of the city wasn't far away at all, the tower was visible. Krush using his speed made his way over to it quite quickly. The tower wasn't very dirty, much cleaner than the bar. The white pearly stone structure gleamed, and the clock all the way at the very top did as well. It read twelve fifteen on its face. Krush walked in to find a man standing near the doorway, "Ah," he said, "you must be Krush. I've been expecting you." "Are you Tuariv?" Krush questioned. "No, I am Kenjin the Encorna. Now please follow me this way." Kenjin began to walk away towards a large staircase, Krush did as asked of and followed the encorna. The stairway went straight around at first then began to wind around in a circle, there were thousands of stairs. Krush could have just quikcly run up them with his powers but instead tagged along behind Kenjin. Eventually they came to the last step, into a large room with one of its walls made out of glass, no doubt the inside of the clock face. "Hello Tuariv, I hope you haven't been waiting long." Kenjin said. A lone figure at the other side of room appeared and approached, it was a large figure close to seven and a half feet high. As it came into view its appearance was disernable. Krush was shocked. Tuariv was a large lizard like humanoid, a long tail swayed behind him, his mouth bore sharp teeth, and his hands had dangerous looking claws on them. Krush turned to Kenjin but he was gone, looking back to Tuariv. The large opponent spoke, "I'm your opponent, and this is your initiation, so let's go." Tuariv took a battle stance and awaited Krush. OoC: Long enough? Maybe I did to much.

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
OoC: It was very interesting scoria, the longer the better...usually!!
BiC: Krush eyed the giant lizard, they had almost the same build, with Tuariv being slightly more muscular and taller. Krush then focused on his attack. "Should I charge forward at him with a punch, or should I do a circle attack....or maybe I could read his mind..." Krush thought hesitantly. He then closed his eyes for a brief second. Clouds of darkness and lightning filled his head, then he saw in the distance Tuariv. "Okay, Im assuming he will charge forward so I can counter it easily by grabbing him..." Tuariv thought. "Got it..." Krush mumbled to himself. He then rushed forward at incredible speed, jumped over Tuariv and attemped to do a falcon strike. However, Tuariv was ready, he quickly reached up, grabbed Krush's foot and threw him towards the glass. Krush hit the wall with a loud thud, leaving a large crack in the glass. Suddenly a breeze came in from the small hole that Krush left. Since they were up high, it would make since for the pressure to try and escape in. Krush then turned to Tuariv. Tuariv eyed Krush and readyed his defense. Just then Tuariv blinked, catching only the site of a black streak. Just then Krush nailed him in his back, sending Tuariv into the glass wall as well. Only this time the glass broke though! Tuariv easily pulled himself away from the hole and glared at Krush. "I must say, that was some trick, I really hope you have more, because if you dont this fight will be short indeed" Tuariv said calmly. Krush just cracked his neck and readyed himself... |

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
Large gusts of wind blew back and forth through the room, an interesting twist to the fight... Tuariv thought.
Krush rushed forward, fists ready, he'll do another rush and attempt to knock me outside, Tuariv thought turning his head to look down to the streets below, it's a darn shame for him, even that fall wouldn't kill me, and we're a hundred feet or more up. The young man smirked, Oh really? The large warrior readied himself for Krushes atteck, then the young man turned into another streak and disappeared, reappearing behind Tuarvs back and smacking him into the room rather than out of it. Tuarivs claws left large scratch marks across the floor. He raised himself from the ground, "So you can read minds?" He inquired. Krush didn't answer, just smirked. Tuarivs bared his sharp teeth, "Well one doesn't need to think while fighting!" Immediatly the lizard fell to the floor on all fours and rushed forward, zigzaging around at completely random intervals. First going left, then right, then forward. Krush couldn't keep track, and when the young man tried to read Tuarivs mind there was just a big blank. The lizard appeared, in front of Krush, jumped, and landed a hard drop kick into Krush chest. Now it was his turn to slide across the floor, near a clock gear. Krush pushed himself up and rubbed his chest, frowning, "Just for the sake of a nice fight, how come I couldn't read your mind." Walking toward Krush Tuariv dragged his sharp claws against a stone wall, leaving inpresionable marks, "Instinct. There was no need to leave myself open and think of a strategy." He pulled his claws off the wall and jumped through the air, Krushes eyes widened and he sidestepped away as Tuariv landed with a punch into the ground, leaving a mark in the wooden floor.

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
Krush then got an idea. The lizard did not think in battle, he just acted! Perhaps there was a way that Krush could use that against him....
Krush then turned and saw Tuariv coming at him with a large balled up fist. With ease Krush avoided the attack by dashing out of the way. Krush then turned looked around the room, seeing if he could lay a trap. All that was in sight was a throne where Tuariv sat, a few turned over statues, and a bunch of broken glass. Krush could try to hurl the statues, but they were so light weight that Tuariv could easily break them before he got hit. Just then Krush looked up and saw the clocks hands. Bingo! This plan just might work.... Krush thought. He then turned and noticed Tuariv trying to deliver another dive attack. Krush then jumped back, grabbed Tuariv and hurled him into the air! Tuariv caught onto the minute hand just as Krush had predicted, only one peice of the trap remained.... Krush took a deep breath and lept into the air! Higher and higher he went, until finaly he reached the Minute hand, which was where Tuariv was pulling himself up. Krush then clenched his fist and puched the gears holding the second hand, knocking it loose. "WHAT!!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL USE BOTH!!!" Tuariv yelled harshly. "You got it half right" Krush said smirkingly. "HA, I'll just jump out of the WAY!!!" Tuariv yelled as he dove onto the floor, about 28ft down. Krush then smirked, "Got ya!" he said. Just then he punched the gears again, knocking the hand loose! Krush yelled as he flew towards Tuariv on the hand. But Tuariv just stood there, as if he was expecting it to happen. Krush then read his mind..... Oh no... Krush thought as he flew towards Tuariv.... |

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
Oh no... I'm moving to fast to get away. Krush thought as his tragectory came closer every second that passed.
Tuariv stood there and smirked, "The fools wide open." The large warrior brought his fist up, and slowly pulled it back. The gigantic minute hand approached, and when it came within only inches, Tuarivs fist shot out. A wave of energy flew through the air, an indent grew in the pure metal minute hand. It flew into the air, in the opposite direction it had flown from, like a spear or a bird of prey. It peice of machinery must've been more than a ton as it demolished a nearby building, marble stone flying everywhere. Tuariv kneeled as he caught his breath, some beads of sweat flowing down his arms and face. "That was heavier than I thought." Krush however, was gone. His momentum was the same as the minute hand because he was riding with it. And because of that, when Tuariv completely stopped it Krush was sent flying onto the wooden floor and right through it. Sighing Tuariv jumped from a gear to the ceiling and pushed himself downward through the hole Krush had created, and there he was falling to the ground, in midair. Tuariv pulled back his arms and legs and approached... OoC: Thought this would make an interesting continuation.

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
Tuariv flew down the the dark long hole, trying to catch up with Krush, or at least see if he survived.
Just then the first floor came into view, but surprisingly the hole went past it, down into the earths crust! Tuariv was puzzled somewhat, but had no time to think about it, as he then saw the real ground! Tuariv crashed onto the rock hard exterior, leaving a giant imprint of where he landed. Tuariv looked around. Nothing. No one was in sight, not even a corpse to signify his victory. Tuariv was very surprised at this, surely the warriors body had not vaporized just by falling from a far height! Tuariv then gazed at his surroundings. Just a dimly lit cave, with one huge room and a large hole at the top where Tuariv and Krush fell into. He then looked to his left and saw what appeared to be a caved in tunnel. Tuariv walked closer to it to see what it was. Just then a hand busted out and grabbed Tuariv, it was Krush. "Surprised? I figured you would be, Im no mortal human as you know, and it takes alot more then a fall from 200 feet to kill me!" Krush said in a somewhat crazed voice. Krush's outfit was shredded, yet his skin had no cuts or bruises, just a lot of dirt and dust. Tuariv then continued the fight. He kicked krush in the stomach, sending him into a nearby wall. But Krush was not finished, he dashed out of it and head butted Tuariv, sending tuariv into another wall. "Well, looks like I gotta take it up a notch..." Tuariv said as he wiped a little bid of blood from his scaly lips. |

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
"Even stronger?" Krush slightly mocked, "You're full of surprises."
Tuariv smirked and spit a small amount of blood that was in his mouth onto the ground, "Obviously I'm not the only one, maybe Kenjin was right to have me test you." The lizard flexed his muscles, "I have alot more to see tested on you, can you stand the heat?" "Sure." Krush smiled. "Well just hope you don't get burned." Tuariv snorted a bit of smoke from his nostrils. Slowly Tuariv back himself against the wall, and to Krushes shock, disappeared into thin air. The room was dimly lit so that proved very disadvantagous, especially now with another of Tuarivs moves shown. There was no sound, besides the small rocks that still slipped into the cave where the two fighters were. A droplet of sweat fell down Krushes face, "Getting to be to much?" Tuarivs voice echoed. "You wish. I'm just getting started." "Not by what I see, I think you're getting tired." "Think again!" Krush yelled back. Suddenly Krush couldn't move, an invisible force was holding him in a full nelson. And Tuarivs voice whispered in his ear, "Hope you can stand the heat," Krushes eyes widened, "You're about to get burned." Tuariv appeared immediatly, mouth open and a burst of fire raging out right onto Krushes head. This went on for a few seconds, and then Tuariv let go, walking a few feet away. Krushes head let off smoke, which billowed into the tower lobby above. The young man sweat quite a bit now, but could he go on more?

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
"Im not done yet lizard....a true... cough...kryptonian fights to the end..." Krush said as he stood up.
"Yes, I see you are determined, but not everyones determination will make it through, what makes yours any diffrent?" Tuariv asked. "Because my determination is made of steel!" Krush yelled in a proud manner. "Then lets continue..." Tuariv said as he readied himself. Krush however knew that just rushing in and hitting him wouldnt do much, so he observed his surroundings yet again. Just a huge hole in the ceiling and a caved in tunnel. Krush then caught eye with a large boulder. "Hope this works..." Krush mumbled as he dashed over to it. Krush lifted the rock, but it was heavy, it had to weigh at least nine tons! Krush then hurled it at Tuariv, who ducked just in time. Though Tuariv ducked it, something else happened. The impact of the rock started another cave in!! "YOU FOOL!! ARE YOU TRYING TO KILL US BOTH AGAIN!!?" Tuariv shouted over the collapsing rocks. "Hang on, I may have a way out of here! Follow my lead!!" Krush yelled as he ran over to the caved in tunnel. With all his might he began to bust the rocks, tearing through them like a drill. Tuariv on the other hand was curious, should he help him and have them both escape, or should he let them both end right now by a cave in. The battle could continue later or end now, what what would tuariv do?.... |

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
OoC: Dang, put this off to long.
BiC: "Idiot." Tuariv said quietly. Walking up behind Krush, Tuariv grabbed the back of his shirt and threw him up and through the hole in the ceiling, into the lobby of the clock tower. As the cave below collapsed Tuariv leaped up into the lobby himself. Krush was already on his feet and awaiting Tuarivs next move, though it was obvious what that was, to continue the fight. Both exceptionally strong fighters flexed their muscles as they ran and banged against the others fists. OoC: Had to get something out, sorry about the shortness.

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
OoC: Okay, it was short, but here goes...
BiC: Krush cracked his knuckles while Tuariv slammed his fists together. Krush could tell that Tuariv was beggining to tire, he had many cuts over his scaly skin, and by the looks of it, a few bruises as well. But Krush wasnt doing much better, even his skin, which was a hard as steel, had bruises and cuts. "I grow tired of this boy, perhaps you should see my true power now!" Tuariv yelled as he began to focus. Suddenly a blue glowing bubble appeared in his hands, as if it was being summoned. Just then it began to grow in size and mass, quickly filling up the room. The bubble then finished inflating, leaving the room with an eerie blue color. I dont get it, is he trying to blind me? Krush thought. Just then he read Tuarivs mind, and to his suprise, Tuariv had one more grand plan left. He was going to become a super lizard!! Before Krush could react Tuariv grew two times his normal size, and more masculine and muscular as well. "NOW YOU SEE MY TRUE POWER!!" Tuariv roared over the sound waves he was emmiting from transforming. Oh man....I dont think this will end well.... Krush thought hesitantly |

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
"Let's test your limits, superman." Tuariv mocked.
He slammed his fists into the ground creating a wave of dust, pushing Krush back from the slight force. As it cleared away Tuariv was gone once again, disappeared into thin air. "Damnit." Krushed hissed in a low breath. Seats were scattered everywhere, like a church, except these pews were litterally scattered everywhere from the destruction of the two brutes. Krush attempted to read Tuarivs mind but it was a complete blank, damn, he's using that trick again. The Kryptonian thought, he's so big... wait, he probably hasn't moved yet. Krush smiled, and dashed a a blinding speed straight into where Tuariv was standing before he had moved. It was right on target, however when Krush hit what was Tuarivs chest he almost felt a little bit of pain. A large mass materialized, Tuariv. "That won't work." His deep voice sounding frightfully evil. And with one heavy backhanded slap Krush went reeling into five nearby pews.

OoC: Just popping in to remind you that there are nine more posts to go. Then we'll grade you, and decide if Krush gets in. Make sure to do your best. That's all I really have to say on this point.

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
OoC: I will do my best sir! Im aiming to join at all costs!! By the way Scoria, I dont think that hit would have not done nothing, I mean krush can lift 10 tons and punch really hard, maybe it would have sent him back a bit...anyway back to battling!!
BiC: Krush stood up and dusted himself off. He then looked at his hand where he had hit the beast. His hand was red and starting to turn black from the bruises. However Krushes healing factor would be bound to kick in, which would at least relieve some of the pain. Before Krush could think Tuariv charged forward holding a peice of the pew in his hand like a club. Krush managed to dodge the first swing, but the second one clipped him right over his shoulder, busting the long peice of timber. But Tuariv wasnt ready to give up yet, he then inhaled and began to blow fire, right at Krush. "Holy....!" Krush tried to say, but the flames seemed to have engulfed him from Tuarivs point of view. "Hahahahahaha, now you see my true power!!" Tuariv said manically as the smoke cleared. All that lay on the ground was a peice of Krushes shirt and several burning embers. Just then Krush erupted from a nearby rubble pile, ran towards Tuariv, picked him up, and hurled him right in the stone wall, which led to the next room. Upon entering after Tuarivs collision, Krush saw that the room was what appeared to be some sort of dormatory. But Tuariv wasnt viewing the sites, he quickly picked up a nearby bed, and charged towards Krush with it.... |

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
OoC: Heh sorry, oh and Tuariv won't be one to underestimate Krush to easily.
BiC: Tuariv rubbed himself a bit, little sucker is doing well... He raised himself from the large mess around him and grabbed a nearby peice of wood for a weapon. Krush climbed over all the stone and wood and such that'd been thrown everywhere. He whistled as Tuariv came into view. "Quite a mess we've made huh?" The kryptonian laughed. "Loser cleans this all up." Tuariv replied quickly. Without a chance to say anything back Krush dodged a smack to the head from Tuariv, then another, and another. The lizard left Krush no time to counter attack now. The kryptonian ran around the dormatory until he was able to speed up, and turned and jumped, kicking Tuariv right in the jaw. A bit of saliva flinging out of his mouth. Wiping the drool away and spitting what was in his mouth, Tuariv decided to try something else. Throwing down the temporary weapon he began smashing the room apart, now it was Krushes turn to yell, "What, are you trying to kill us both?!" "No, you have fun now." Tuariv smiled as he litterally jumped through what was left of the ceiling, sending even more stone bits to crush Krush. Won't surprise me at all if he lives.

Re: Makings of a Knight (Clark Kent)
Man was I suckered!, That ceiling can easily crush me if I dont do something fast Krush thought. He then looked around frantically. Nothing but rubble, overturned beds, and timber and stones falling from the ceiling. He then noticed the whole Tuariv left in the celing. Just then he got an idea. Krush kicked into over drive, and to no suprise the stones and timber started falling much slower. He then jumped onto one, then another, until finally he was 30ft from the ceiling (OoC: Im assuming the ceiling would be high up here) BiC: Krush then charged up his jump and lept straight towards it. He missed it by a few inches, but managed to break through the weak support anyway. Once he reached the top he noticed a long corridor heading to his left. The ground began to crack violently. Krush knew the ground would crumble any second, so he dashed towards the door and made it in, just as the floor fell in. He looked around and noticed that he was in a library. Over to his left he saw a man putting books up, and to his right he noticed a few readers. Just then another rumble occured and Tuariv fell through the roof. "Im not suprised you survived that, now lets continue this!!" Tuariv roared out. "It takes alot to defeat me!" Krush said proudly. He then reached for one of the chairs and hurled in at tuariv, who easily busted it. Krush then charged forward, picked Tuariv up and hurled him through four book cases. Krush tried to ignore the screaming from the people in the library and focus. Tuariv then busted out of the rubble. "I have a question, how come these people didnt flee when they heard the cave ins and the clock losing its hand?" Krush asked. "Because they are used to me battling and leaving loud quakes, but they have neve |
