Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: All righty, I’ll be using Khaz because I’ve never really had a chance to use him before. You’ll find his profile in my sig. Anywho, if one of my students replies to this I’ll count it as a part of their training. And if they do, then I’ll be expecting the best out of them. A word to my student if they do take up this challenge: Prepare yourself *evil grin*
If it is otherwise not a student of mine, I’ll be hoping who ever responds to this will have a character strong enough to take on Khaz and has somewhat good writing skills. BiC: Khaz’s boots pounded the forest floor, crushing half decayed leaves and sticks. His lungs worked quickly, sucking in as much as air as possible as he continued to run. There is no need to run … Takai whispered in Khaz’s mind. Let me deal with them. Khaz’s sweaty face twisted with soft anger. No, you’ll get out of control … I can handle this by myself, replied the Hylian. He dodged through the dead, gray trees. The man cast a glance over his shoulder. He was loosing them; who knew Dark Elves could be so fast? Khaz dug his heels down and came to a halt and quickly leapt behind a large dead willow. He sat there for a few minutes with his back pressed against it and sweat sliding down his face, his entire body tensed in apprehension and his eyes were narrowed with his vexed state. The sound of many running feet came to his sharp ears. The sound faded fast as they ran by the tree he hid behind. You should have let me— began Khaz’s other half. “What? Kill them? No way, if I can out run them then there is no need to waste their lives,” snapped Khaz, not realizing he spoke out loud. Takai s******ed, you’re talking to yourself again. The Hylian rolled his midnight-blue eyes. “Shut up.” He felt Takai’s smirk move his lips. Stop that! You’re not taking our body this time. They’re already gone anyway! Khaz stood up after finding his other half was silenced. He found himself many times wishing he had never discovered his other personality. But yet again, he had always know it was there. He was just more of a bother now. The Hylian sighed and gazed around the dead forest. Man, Delusuu really is a crappy place to live… It was also a terrible place to be lost in, which Khaz had somehow managed to do. At least the Dark Elves are gone. He was sure it was Nelu’s doing. That bastard was hard to get rid of and had many people at his command. Where was Leita and the others? Khaz bit his bottom lip, he hated being away from his sister. What if she needed him? What if she was in danger? The Hylian turned his head to the sides with a sad look in his stare, as if he was hoping to see his younger sister in the distance, waving at him and smiling with her emerald-green eyes. Rontu better be with her… thought Khaz. Otherwise, I’m gonna kick his ass the next time I see him. He leaned his back against the dry bark of his tree, folding his arms over his chest. Well…what should he do now? OoC: I’ll leave it up to who ever takes up this battle to start the fight.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC
y coincedince my BA character has long elf ears because he's half Human and Half Elf.(See Profile link in my sig.) I got an idea such as your character could mistake mine for a dark elf.BiC:As Kijimisu was making his way back home through the forest,Khaz said "Dark Elf!,Freeze and don't move,I'm going to kill you this time!" "What the h-!" "Shut Up!!!!" he snapped. Then Kijimisu stuck the Ice Sword into the ground and froze Khaz's feet. While walking away from Khaz Kijimisu could hear Khaz in the distance screaming at him to come back."Where are you going?,get back here!" "Unfreeze me,you big-eared freak!!!" Then after hearing what sounded like glass shattering in a blink of an eye Khaz was standing right in front of Kijimisu. Then the battle begun.Kijimisu was hitting Khaz with his lasers from his eyes and then he shot some of his claws at him too. Then Khaz dodged them and then started slashing Kijimisu. Then Kijimisu charged at him and punched Khaz and then Kijimisu said,"You don't like me when I'm angry." With glowing Blue eyes,he changed into his Bear form and then he let out a horrific Blue Beam from his mouth and fired at him, destroying 12.3% of the whole forest. Then seeing that Khaz blocked almost the whole attack,Khaz was then angry,he came up and kicked Kijimisu so hard that he turned back into his human-Elf Form. "There's a whole other side of you like there's a whole other side of me,isn't it?"Kijimisu sneered "JUST BRING IT!"he shouted and then the two warriors charged at each other aain but Kijimisu swiftly moved out of the way and Khaz tripped over the rocky ground smothered with branches. Then the sword fight began,"Let's see which is better,My Ice Sword against your Katanas."said Kijimisu "Fine."said Khaz Then the two started hacking and slashing in the rain and for hours no one seemed to win the battle while the two warriors were sweating, and bleeding and wet,no one seemed to back down. OoC:Sorry,I have a moderate case of writers' Block so I'm going to stop here pick up after you post and I'm going to read your character profile.

OoC: Sorry, about allow me to show you somethings. Due to my position as teacher I feel it would be good to inform you on proper spacing.

While walking away from Khaz Kijimisu could hear Khaz in the distance screaming at him to come back."Where are you going? Get back here! Unfreeze me, you big-eared freak!!!" Oh and you really should read Khaz’s profile before attempting to write him. That way you would have been able to write him better. Of course, you don’t have to listen to my advice, but it is there if you need. BiC: Let me deal with him…I’ll make it a quick death, offered Takai. No way, I can handle this even if you started it. You knew very well that he isn’t a Dark Elf! snarled Khaz in his mind. Him and the other Half Elf had stopped for a moment, both panting for breath. Let me finish what I started… said the other half. No! That’s my final answer! Khaz charged the man, his two katanas held out with their sharp edges facing him. He wouldn’t kill him if he could help it, just knock him out if he could manage it. The Half Elf blocked with his icy sword causing Khaz to leap backward rapidly and rush in again. There was another clank of metal against metal as the man block his katana. Khaz was doubling back again, but the heel of his boot got caught on a protruding root and he stumbled. The Hylian fell over onto his backside. The other warrior slashed his sword down at him. Khaz gasped and flung his blades up to caught it just in time. The Half Elf pressed down, hoping to oppress the elf. Khaz grounded his teeth together as more sweat glided down the sides of his face. You can’t even subdue him, let me deal with him! growled Takai. Khaz felt an odd force use his hands to press harder again the warrior’s blade with more strength than Khaz knew he possessed. No! Stop it! This is my body! cried the Hylian, trying to block away the force that was slowly absorbing his body. Wrong! This is our body! And this time I’m using it, said the other half. Khaz tried to move his fingers but found the command was not followed. He felt Takai’s smirk cut into his lips and he knew there was nothing he could do to stop him. Takai’s leer widened. He shoved his blades forward, knocking the Half Elf backward. The Hylian leapt up to his feet, more gracefully than Khaz could have done. His dark eyes locked upon his pray. They were empty eyes that knew not the meaning of mercy. The other warrior had regained his balance and stood, gazing back at the changed Hylian. Takai sneered, this would be over quickly. He rushed forward, probably faster than the Half Elf could see, flipped his right katana into the air and socked the man heavily in the gut. The punch had sent him flying backward, smacking into a tree trunk with a sickening crack. The wood shattered and spilinters flew into the air. Takai’s sword tumbled back down and he caught it by the hilt with his right hand. That’s enough! yelled Khaz. He’s probably knocked out, there’s no need to do anything else. “I suppose you’re right,” said the Hylian, not caring that he was speaking out loud. “But where is the fun in that?” Don’t you dare! Takai simpered as he ignored Khaz’s nagging and strode toward the stunned man, his katanas ready in his hands. OoC: M’kay, keep in mind Takai is a lot stronger than Khaz. This is why I was hoping your character would be strong enough to handle a god.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Ok Shrub gave me the ok so here I am to bail your character out. I'm not gunna use Kichaa though, so here comes Reese.
BiC: Reese had watched the battle from afar, admiring the way the elves had battled at first, but moving into a bit of uneasiness as the deathly grin came onto the younger Hylian's face. That wasn't the look of sanity, and Reese knew he couldn't just stand aside and witness a murder. Quickly stringing his bow, Reese let off a quick shot at the young elf. It mandaged to distract the boy momentarily, but he was now just hindered by an arrow in his shoulder... and he didn't seem very concerned with that. Reese wondered what he got himself into when the insane elf started running at him faster than he'd seen any man move before, unhindered by the second arrow that imbedded itself in his torso. This elf's invincible! Reese thought to himself when the elf was almost upon him. Desperately, he ran forward directly at the elf, kicking out savagely at the mans left foot when he was passing. The Hylian fell heavily, but only rolled, turned and followed after Reese, both arrows having broken in his roll. Reese whipped out another arrow and tried to launch it at him as he moved, this time hitting him just above the waist. Reese was desperate, and he knew this man was more than a match for his puny dagger, so he started searching hopefully for a spike bomb, or a net, or something that would help him deter this relentless foe.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Too slow! I’m taking your turn, Mokujin!
![]() BiC: Stop! He didn’t do anything! “Yes, except stick me with his arrows,” retorted Takai. Reese gave him an alarmed look, he obviously didn’t understand who he was speaking to. Yeah, to keep you from killing someone! cried Khaz’s voice in his head. The dark half gave no reply, he chose to ignore him. He was too much of a bother to keep listening to. It was distracting. Takai paused for a moment and pulled out the arrows sticking out of his torso and middle, tossing them carelessly to the ground. Blood leaked out of his wounds, staining his blue tunic. If he didn’t want to die, then he should have stayed out of it. Takai lifted his stare to the human. His chilling, midnight blue eyes studied him for a few seconds. Perhaps considering how he would kill him. Reese’s hand moved, perhaps for another arrow, and the Hylian dashed toward him. Takai’s hands flung out to his sides, throwing his katanas into near by trees. They sank in until only the black hilts were showing. The wild elf was still rushing toward the human, leering as he did so. He stopped almost instantly in front of Reese, his fist shot forward into his chest. The man’s green eyes widened with pain as he was shoved to the ground by the impact. OoC: Got rid of his katanas. That will make it a bit easier for ya.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Jeez your character has problems. Lol.
BiC: Reese rolled over just in time to avoid a kick the Hylian aimed at his stomach. This guy was stronger than Reese by far, he knew it, and what's more, he seemed to find it very funny. The guy was talking to himself for goodness' sake! Reese continued rolling, luckily rolling into familiar territory. Once under the brush, Reese started crawling away from the elf rapidly. Soon the elf was left behind obviously furious over the disappearance. Minutes later Reese was looking down on him from a tree, pondering how to get his bow back. "Come back here you little ****!" the insane elf screamed. The prospect of Reese's life continuing seemed to piss him off to no end. Dropping from the tree, Reese whipped out his knife and started sharpenning a branch into a second weapon. Within seconds the wood was sharp enough to kill any ordinary man, but it would only deter this freak. The elf had begun stomping around the area that wasn't covered in shrubbery, obviously not stupid enough to venture towards Reese... too bad. That could've been real fun. Springing towards the sinister elf, who was still in the middle of a tirade, jamming his makeshift weapon into him in mid-turn, then grabbing his bow and disappearing into the undergrowth yet again, Reese angered the elf still more, if that was possible. The elf ripped the branch out of his chest, glaring at the barbed tip Reese had carved into it. "You nasty little ****! I'm gunna tear your lungs out!" he shouted into the trees. This time he didn't wait for Reese to attack again. He clenched his had around one of his katanas and ripping it out of the tree trunk. As the elf did this, Reese had renwed his search for a trap. His search provided results, though he doubted one of his nets would hold this freak down for more than three seconds. This was a fight he doubted he could win, but for the sake of the other guy that was almost murdered he had to try.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: I know ^_^ I love his craziness. I usually don’t use him often, mostly because he’s so powerful. I made him before the approval rules changed.
BiC: “We’re bleeding a lot…” murmured Takai. No ****! Blood gushed out of the larger injury the sharpened branch had made. It ran down his tunic, turning it a dark red. He swept over to the other tree and yanked his katana out. I—I think this is enough … just leave the guy alone. “You never used to care who I killed,” said Takai, scanning the tree tops for his missing prey. That’s because I’ve decided to actually try to be a good person! “That is your way and this is mine.” His gazed locked onto a certain tree. Takai closed his eyes and his head bowed. The grass under his feet began to curl and turn brown as the life was sucked out of it. A brown circle began to grow around him. Reese stared down form his tree, watching as the elf did nothing but appear to stare at his feet. A soft chuckle rumbled deep in his throat. “Heh … heh heh …” His laughter continued to grow until he was cackling with mirth. His shoulder shook but his head remained bowed. You’re f***ing insane! Takai was laughing too hard to respond. The shadows in the trees and of the trees almost seemed to stir as they blackened. The darkness grew and pulsed closing in around all of them. A cold shiver ran down Reese’s spine. “How do you like my shadows?” called Takai. He knew the man was near enough to hear him. It was actually the first time he spoke directly to him. Reese pulled an arrow into place on his bow. His hands were shaking, his bow quivered … he felt as if the shadows were trying to sufficate him.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Mwahahaha my guy's too good to lose to this! ... I... think?
BiC: Reese couldn't imagine how shadow was doing this! He felt more terrified than he ever had in his life, and the elf knew it. It was just what that sick specter of insanity wanted. This wasn't possible! Reese was shaking so badly that his arrow had started clacking against his bow. The Hylian was bound to notice that, so Reese had to remove it and drop to the ground again. Running as silently as his terror would allow, he gained considerable distance from the evil man. He felt better the farther away he got, and was tempted to just run away. Reese stopped abruptly. The need for justice overpowered his fear, and he turned angrily back towards the clearing. If I run, Reese thought to himself, that guy he was trying to murder is gunna pay for it. From back in the small clearing he heard the elf speaking to him. This wasn't like before. The elf wasn't screaming at him, he was just... talking, "How do you like my shadows?" They're great you screwed up piece of ****, Reese mentally replied, trying to find a spot he could launch an arrow from. Finding one, he notched the arrow back onto his string. His hand still shook, but that wouldn't stop him. Reese took aim carefully before he shot the man, not wanting to kill him yet. Letting the arrow loose, he watched the man shudder with pain and rage as it impacted right in his knee. The man was effectively crippled now, and Reese let off another arrow just as the elf looked directly at him. The fear was back, but it didn't matter. His next arrow hit the other knee, just as Reese had hoped. |

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Now, let’s make this interesting…
BiC: “Yes,” breathed Takai. “That’s it …” He fell onto his knees, pain shot through them but he didn’t care. Nothing felt as wonderful as dying. Would it happen now? Would he die? Takai hoped so. His heart ached deeply within his chest for that … death sounded … like a blessing. His tunic was almost completely covered in his blood, little red droplets dropped down to the ground from the end of his shirt. Wh-what are you doing? questioned Khaz, he thought Takai would have dodged those arrows. He knew he could dodge them. Calm smile spread into his lips, his midnight blue eyes closing softly. He was losing a lot of blood too…. “Dying …” replied the dark half. Whoa! Wait just a second! You do know that if you die then I die, right? “Yes, I know…” … You may want to but I don’t! Stop it! Get on your feet! You’re the better fighter here! Takai snarled to himself, couldn’t he just go in peace? Having Khaz yell at him wasn’t how he would like to go. He planned it just like this and he wasn’t going to mess it up like last time. Not like when he fought Nottuu. This time he would die. This human was just the kind of person he would want to do it. He’s brave; he didn’t run from the shadows. Takai always admired courage. He wouldn’t have let just anyone kill him. This man had passed the test … or whatever sort of test Takai knew of. He knew when it was his time to die … that is all. Wait! What about Leita? You don’t just want to leave her here! I mean, she needs us! “Rontu will take care of her …” whispered the Hylian. His hands slid forward to the ground, leaning on it for support as warm tears slid down his face. “All I did was cause her more pain … if anything, she’s better off without me.” But … where were the man’s arrows? Where was the finishing pain, the pain that would end his life and his sorrow? The crack of a twig told him the answer. He looked up and the man was standing right in front of him, arrow pointed in his face. The human pulled back and the bow groaned slightly as he did so. “Thank you …” said Takai. Reese almost flinched at his words. His dark blue eyes bore into the man’s green ones. He didn’t even care that he would die on his knees, kneeling before this man like a dog. He would die at least…. OoC: Um … yeah, I hope you don’t kill him 0.0

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC:I'm leaving this fight I really don't know what's going on here.
Thanks for the advice.I'm going to use it in the near future. BiC:"This crazy!"said Kijimisu seeing that no one was paying any attention to him. "I'm going to go fetch myself a sandwhich." With that he left the two warriors still staring at each other. OoC:I'm going to a more simpler BA fight.

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Lol chicken!!! Jk.
BiC: Reese stared at the man kneeling before him. The man seemed eager to die. Why someone would want that Reese didn't know, but this man wanted it. Reese knew he couldn't just kill the man without answers, but he didn't want to know the answers really. He looked over to see that the other poor soul this man had attacked had run away. Not quite sure if it was justice anymore, Reese started walking away. The elf seemed even more infuriated by this than anything Reese had done before. This was too much for him, "No! Kill me!" the insane warrior railed at Reese, "Kill me!" But Reese didn't. This wasn't justice anymore, if he killed the man it would be murder. They both knew it, and the elf wanted it more than Reese could possibly understand. Unstringing his bow, Reese speared the elf with his eyes and replied simply, "No." Leaving the elf kneeling in pain, death closing on him, wasn't exactly kindness but Reese wouldn't kill him in cold blood. Too much murder could corrupt a man, and Reese had commited enough. This wasn't the time to kill again. OoC: Great now Takai is probably gunna sneak up on me and.... BAM! lol |

Re: Death Under Willow Trees (any student or anyone else who is good enough)
OoC: Hm … should we end this?
BiC: Takai watched the man walk away, leaving him there on his knees. This wasn’t supposed to be happening. He was supposed to kill him. Why wasn’t he killing him? The dark half snarled, grinding his teeth together. “Come back here!” roared Takai, his hands balling into fists. “Finish it, you bastard!” But the man did not turn around, he did not draw an arrow, and he did not end it all. The Hylian tried to stand up and follow him but the pain in his knees erupted with a hot fury and he sagged back down again. …Stop, Takai, just stop … perhaps you were just meant to live today. “No …” sobbed the elf, his arms went up and cradled his head that bent downward into them. “I’ve had … enough.” With our luck you might die anyway … if that comforts you. We’ve lost a lot of blood. Takai gripped his spiky hair, still grinding his teeth together as more tears ran down his veiled face. The shadows around them had faded long ago. Now there was nothing but a decaying forest. A forest of death with death under the willow trees. Why is it … that death never dies? OoC: This was just noodles of fun! Nice job, Aussie, very impressive. I hope to do this with you again sometime. ^_^
