A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: I thought I'd get the death of Gorin's rival in before the big war with the BA Knights. Just for the record, Grasthos didn't die at the end of "Death of a death dealer". That battle was never finished, so the ending is very open ended.
BIC: Gorin sat in a carriage. He had been travelling for days before finding the cart on the main path. He was heading to what he heard was Grasthos' new lab. The death dealer had escaped his first fight with Gorin, and completely evaded him the second time. Gorin had been tracking Grasthos four weeks, but never got to Grasthos in time for an actual fight. The echo decided to bring some help with him this time in case Grasthos tried to escape again. He would ensure that his rival's fate was sealed. "Stop the cart." Gorin called to the cart driver. The driver pulled back on the reins of the horses to get them to stop. A man stepped from the side of the road, out of the rain, and into the carriage. It was too dark for Gorin to see if the man had any company, but he already knew who the man was. "You found this road with no trouble I'm assuming?" asked Gorin. The man nodded. He was one of the members of the Oblivion Alliance. The echo had invited him to come and help him with what would hopefully be the final confrontation between Grasthos and Gorin.

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
"So, who is this Grasthos character? What is he like?" Latio asked.
"He's a mage, and necromancer." the echo replied. "A coward as well." "What's his battle style like?" "I've never actually fought him, like I said, he's a coward." "Where are we going?" OoC: I'm serious, where are they going? Also, I need a better physical discription of Grasthos. It'd be longer, but I need info. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: Grasthos is a demonish mage. He usually wears a cloak which covers his entire body. The only time Gorin ever saw anything under Grasthos' cloak was when they had an extremely breif fight. Under Grasthos' cloak he looks like a normal person, albeit bald and covered in runic symbols.
BIC: "We're going to a remote area in the wastelands. I have information that Grasthos' new lab is in this area, and I don't intend to wait until he has an escape route to attack." replied Gorin. The driver of the carriage was listening to the entire conversation and decided to make a comment as to dispersuade Gorin and Latio from going to the wastelands. "I heard that the wastelands are filled with dangerous creatures, few people make it out alive after all." Latio was slightly surprised at this info, but Gorin laughed. "That's why Grasthos is there. Lots of things to experiment on. He probably brought his lacky Tohinka with him." "Who's Tohinka?" asked Latio. Gorin leaned back with his hands on his head. "Tohinka was origionally a major general in the Sharagwane Islands. He fled to Grasthos after we defeated his leaders. Knowing Grasthos, he's probably changed the general to his liking." OOC: Sorry for it being so short. I just wanted to leave potential for someone else in the Oblivion Alliance to join before we go on to Grasthos' lab.

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OoC: So, Grasthos is a short old man I'm supposing? Also, you missed a paragraph in post three.
Quote:
Also, could you give links to the battles that had Grasthos in them? It'll make this battle way smoother. BiC: "You say this guy's a coward, so we'll be able to kill him easily?" Latio asked. "I said he was a coward, not a weakling." Gorin replied. "If he'd stop being so evil, I might've respected his power." "If he's that powerful then won't we need a bigger group? I mean, he could have an army of mega mutant monkey men with searing laser eyebeams!" "I'm hoping the rest of the alliance will come." "Wait, how many people are in the Alliance?" Latio queried. "A few, I've lost count, many of our members have gone missing. I've invited all of them, but you're the only one who's shown up." The cart stoped in a walled village. The rain stopped a while back, and villagers were coming out of their stone houses to pick up... gems? Latio remembered the smell of the town. "This is that village..." Latio unsheathed his rapier an inch. "You would've been a great help against that... shadow. What was his name, Darges I think?" "What did you say? You know Darges?!" Gorin shouted at the foxfolk, whose ears were ringing. "Umm, y-yes, he possesed me." OoC: Ooooooo, plot twist! Edit: It'd be great if I could describe Tohinka, it'll be a hard fight, but nothing too hard, like fighting the Encorna, who wiped the floor with Latio in 'The Fight Pit.' |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: You can go ahead and describe what Tohinka is like now. With each appearence he has been different. In his first appearence he was a powerful knight who could create clones of himself. His second appearence found him to be slightly mutated by Grasthos in order to increase his fighting ability.
I'll send you links to the battles with Grasthos in them. They weren't finished though, so don't expect to find out his fighting style. Oh, and sorry if my paragraphs seem clotted together. It's because we're required to write three to four sentences for each paragraph in school, and I just happen to write long sentences. BIC: Gorin was completely focused on Latio. "My uncle was here?" he asked. Latio nodded. The fight had been a long and hard fight, one that the foxfolk never wanted to repeat. He was glad to see that the villagers were no longer possessed by the dark being though. Gorin sat in contemplation for a moment. "After we take care of Grasthos, we can stop here to make sure Darges is gone. He can turn an entire town into an army of mindless soldiers in less than a month." Latio nodded again. "That sounds like a good idea. Have you ever fought Darges?" Gorin shook his head. "I've never fought him directly, but he tried to possess me when I almost died during a fight against my father Harges." Latio was interested in hearing more of Darges and Harges, but decided that it would seem rude to inquire further into the subject when they were already focused on something else. The carriage passed through the town quickly. "The wastelands aren't far from here. Be ready to fight, as there may be monsters there." said Gorin. Latio unsheathed his rapier as a sign that he was ready to fight. Gorin leaned back and snapped his fingers. In less than a second Latio sensed something else in the carriage. It was a domerri, the spiritual messengers of the dome. Gorin's personnal domerri was a spy for him, and usually carried out invitations to fight to various Dome students. "Tell the other Oblivions to meet us in the wasteland if they want to help eleminate Grasthos." The domerri bowed and disappeared. "Wait, are you saying we're going after Grasthos alone?" inquired Latio. Gorin smiled. "I think we'll be enough if the other members don't come. I didn't ask you to join the alliance for nothing, and I'm not the leader of the alliance for no reason."

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OoC: Man, no-one is coming...
BiC: The carrige stopped at a wooden sign with a red skull-and-crossbones painted on it. "This is as far as I go, but it's your funeral." The barren landscape streched out as far as the eye could see, and on the horizon a tower stuck up. From where Gorin and Latio stood it looked an inch tall, but up close it was half a mile high, and fifty meters in diameter. Gorin grunted at how far the tower was and started to walk. Latio followed. ------------Time elapsed: two days---------------- Latio wiped black scorpion innards off his rapier and said to Gorin "We've killed a lion-spider thing, a zombie cerebus, a fire breathing llama, and an ogre with a cannon implanted into his chest, and none of them bled, or had edible flesh!" "You mortals complain about food alot." the echo replied. He heard Latio's stomach growl. "We can't just suck energy out of the air and-" the foxfolk was interrupted by a muffled voice... OoC: Last chance to join before the tower! Edit: The train is leaving! Chugachugachugachuga WOO-WOO! BiC: Latio causiously crept towards the sound, and found a small girl coughing upbrownish-green blood. "Gorin, come over here! There's a girl over here! I think she's dieing!" "Let her die then" Gorin replied. Latio grunted and said "She might lead us to Grasthos!" The girl spoke. "Grasthos... Hidden tunnel... Experiments... Aghh!" She yelled and rolled on the ground as her arm pulsed and grew rapidly. It grew spikes and claws, and mutated into something unexplainably horrible. "You say you've seen Grasthos?" Latio said calmly. "He experimented on me..." she said, gasping and weezing. At these words Gorin came over, and saw the hideous arm. "Grasthos did this?" he questioned. The girl nodded weakly. Latio started speaking again. "How long ago did he start this experiment?" "I-I don't know, mabey *cough* ten days..." "Where's the hidden tunnel?" Gorin demanded. The girl started to cry. She looked only ten years old. "Gorin, you can't demand so much of her." "I'll demand whatever, wherever I want, Latio!" "We're not going to get any info out of her like that." Latio said while trying to calm the young girl down again. The echo grunted and walked back to their campsite. "Can you take me to the tunnel?" The girl nodded again and crawled oin her hands and knees for two meters before dieing on the spot. Latio went back to the campsite and they walked to the tunnel. OoC: Just so you know the tunnel attaches to the tower, incase it wasn't obvious enough. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: Meh, if the other members are too lazy to see this thread then I guess it's just the two of us.
BIC: The tunnel stretched out before the Oblivions. Latio heard Gorin muttering something. "What are you muttering?" asked the foxfolk. Gorin turned to Latio. "After we kill Grasthos I might consider burying that girl." he said. Latio himself had been planning on doing so, but Gorin's proposal was a surprise nontheless. With that, the echo and the foxfolk started down the tunnel. It was dark enough for Gorin to blend into the enviroment with his dark skin. Latio was blind anyways, so darkness wasn't a problem for him. "I can't believe Grasthos would experiment on such a small child." thought Latio. The very thought of the cruelty and pain that the child had suffered made Latio want to kill Grasthos himself. When Latio voiced his thoughts to his ally, Gorin simply grunted. "He's experimented on children younger than her. His old labs are littered with mutated babies and creatures made from combining children and animals." Latio nearly screamed out his reply. "But why children?!" Gorin didn't reply for a moment. The echo was searching through his memory to find what he had learned from some of Grasthos' abandoned notes. Journal Entry 3, I have discovered something that will aid my experiments. It seems that by mutating a young human, prefferably between the ages of 5 to 12, the mutant will have time to adapt to the changes. Adults are finished growing, and thus they cannot adapt to the mutation as easily. A child's genes will eventually accept the mutation and grow with it. It is in this way that I am able to create nearly perfect mutants, after several dozen flaws of course. It is good that humans breed so easily. I end this note with these final words: Death is young. Gorin knew that this would be horrible for anybody to know. Grasthos' soul reason for experimenting on children was so that he could increase productivity. The echo knew that he would find out more horrible things if he ever found Grasthos' other notes, but that was the only way the Oblivion Master could understand the madman's motives. "I don't know why." said Gorin. He'd keep the truth from Latio just a little longer. He didn't want his ally challenging the death dealer alone. No, he'd be more useful to keep Tohinka out of the way.

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OoC: Could we make the battle against Grasthos at least two posts each?
BiC: Gorin and Latio walked through the echoing hallway, which messed up Latio's sense of direction, so he felt his way along the wall. They heard, and Gorin saw, many small mutants, which included rodents with wings, birds with turtle shells and fish with legs. In one of the lone tanks there was a jellyfish-like creature with giant mandables and a quadricipic brain. OoC: Too... Much... Metroid... Prime... BiC: Up ahead there was a dimmly lighted room, and in the room was, ironicly, a horde of mega mutant monkey men with searing laser eyebeams. The two warriors almost simoutaniously muttered "Crud." |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: Well well, you've certainly had your sugar today.
![]() BIC: The mutant monkey men (OOC: MMM for short) started to shriek and howl. "I think I can tell what kind of monkey he made them out of." mumbled Gorin. One of the fish with legs started to charge around randomly. An MMM grabbed the fish by one of its legs and ate it. The other MMM's seemed to be wandering aimlessly. "This must be where Grasthos dumps failed experiments." thought Gorin. No wonder the little girl was able to escape. She just left through the tunnel... The birds with turtle shells and the rodents with wings seemed to be trying to eat eachother, despite the fact that their life spans were probably a few days. Gorin created a discus and threw it. None of the animals turned their attention to the circular weapon, despite the fact that it came milimeters from several animal's faces. "We're in luck, I think that all of them are blind." said Gorin. "They couldn't find their way out of the tunnel because they aren't smart enough to make use of their other senses. That's why Grasthos dumped them here, their mere presence is enough to scare away most intruders." Latio sighed. The foxfolk's expulsion of air echoed through the tunnel. "Oh, but blindness isn't a bad thing..." said Gorin frantically. Latio merely smiled, shook his head, and thought "He acts like he's an all knowing being, yet he stumbles himself. Heh." Latio found it amusing that Gorin, the Oblivion Master and former god, stumbled with his words just like any other being. OOC: Hehe, I didn't say anything about the thing in the tank. ![]()

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OoC: "Gah! My face! Oh God! It's eating my eyes!" Meh, metroids are dumbarses anyway. *Has more 'creative powder'* Mmmmmmmm, sugar... *drool* Who'd I,Link join with?
BiC: With little fighting and little effort Gorin and Latio snuck past the monsters, but once they were up the ladder they heard the sound of lasers, followed by a shattering glass sound. There were several shrieks from the basement, but the two payed no attention. They ascended the stairs as Gorin elaborated why a secret lab would be on top of a huge tower. They never thought of any good reasons. OoC: Bedtime. I'll add more, unless you wanna go ahead. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
The echo and the foxfolk reached the top of the stairs after a few hours of heavy walking. "Oh my aching legs!" Latio cried, rubbing his calfs. Gorin merely chuckled and muttered aside: "Mortals..." Just then, the strange four-brained mandibled thing from the tank in the tunnel attacked Gorin. He simply stood aside and materialized another discus. Needles to say, our little friend was soon cleft in twane. "Grasthos is getting weaker. Or am I getting stronger? Only this fight will tell." Gorin thought.
Latio and Gorin rounded the corner, and were met by an angelic-looking figure of great beauty, surrounded by scores of mangled and charred bodies. "Are you the Oblivian Alliance?" she asked, as the mutants were quite a bit more hideous than they were. Latio nodded, looking a little eager. "Your domerri sent me a message, asking for aid. I am here now, what do you need?" the goddess asked, looking at Latio. Gorin stepped in and held out a hand in front of the foxfolk's face. "Excuse me, ma'am, but I'm the leader of this group." Gorin said, looking mighty tweaked. "Ah yes. Gorin, if I'm not mistaken? I thought an obomination like yourself would be leading something called 'The Oblivian Alliance.'" She cocked an eyebrow, waiting for a response. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
"That depends on your view of what an abomination is." replied Gorin. Latio stepped to the side slightly as the godess and former god clashed wills and wit.
"My view of an abomination is something that has been warped from torture, and now roams the world only to find something to do." said Isis. The godess expected to see Gorin steaming at that comment, but found that the echo had a slight grin on his face. "Oh, and something that spends most of its time in pieces is supposed to be normal?" replied the Oblivion Master. Latio took another step sideways. This could erupt into a fight any moment... "At least that gives me time to think of good insults." said Isis. Gorin put his hand out to shake hands. "Well played madame." commented Gorin. He could have formulated six excellent retorts for Isis' comment, but getting through Grasthos' tower was the most important task at hand. Gorin related to Isis the reasons he had sent his domerri for her, none of the warriors noticing the beast hidden in the shadows...

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OoC: Dude, I'm the only active alliance member who hasn't been a god-like figure! Gotta do something about that... And I,Link should've used Chista, being obsessed to violence and whatnot.
BiC: Somehow, the echo from beyond the deepest reaches of hell and the goddess of Heaven agreed, and they went through the metal door. Behind it sat Grasthos, with the mutated general standing beside him. The massive freak-of-a-man had three extra eyes on his head, and had no hair, but in place had many thick tendrils. He also had two extra arms, which had sword and axe blades in place of hands. His legs were like scorpion legs, and he had four. His skin was a dark purplish-green, and on his original right hand his fingernails oozed a dark green liquid. Many slim tubes entered and exited his body at various points, and his arms bulged with inhuman strength. Gorin gave almost silent orders, which the general failed to hear. "Latio, you take the general. Isis, use your magic to help him. Grasthos is mine." The two recieving the orders got in position, with Latio's rapier at Tohinka's neck, Isis charging a magic blast, and Gorin ready to confront Grasthos... |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OoC: I used Isis mainly because I'm usually better with her than Usaka or Chista. Oh, and it's I, Link. Put a space in there.
BiC: The general let out an inhuman scream, then charged Latio. Isis jumped in and held up her shield, blocking the general's mutated arm. A massive yellow barrier of see-through magic melded it's way across the air, blocking out damage to Isis and the foxfolk. The goddess pulled out her massive sword, preparing to attack. The deranged general beat upon the barrier, trying to break in. Suddenly, his hideous face turned from anger to horror, and he said "Please... help me..." Then, he went back to the smashing. Latio cringed as he felt the very power of the two beings, Gorin and Grasthos, clash. But that wasn't his main problem right now, Isis had lowered her guard to attack the tubes on the general's back. When she slit one open, a thick green pus spewed out like a geyser, splattering the once-polished metal. OoC: I'll let Mikey B tell about his fight with Grasthos, I don't know how either one of them really fight. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: The general's name is Tohinka. He's been a foe of the alliance as long as Grasthos has... Is it just me, or are Latio Scaptur's posts different than before?
BIC: "So, the maggot has come to kill its maker." said Grasthos. The robed death dealer stood with his silver staff in hand. He had faced Gorin in brief battles before, but always escaped before suffering any major damage. This fight would be different. "What are you talking about?!" growled Gorin. Grasthos smiled. "I have a reserve experiment that you will find very interesting if you survive this fight. I know how you've been collecting my notes, and the last few should be very surprising." The death dealer and echo prepared to fight. Gorin created a naginata and moved into his offensive stance. "You still think you can win Grasthos?" said Gorin. "Hahahaha!!! Such a fool! Do you think you honestly stand a chance against a being older than time itself?! I'll extinguish those thoughts with your body, then I'll use your soul for experiments!" Grasthos threw off his robe. The death dealer had black skin, and yellow eyes. "You, your an echo!?" shouted Gorin. Grasthos laughed at the top of his lungs. The sound alone was enough to make Gorin's eye to twitch. "Yes, I am an echo. I'm sure you'll find out more interesting facts if you open the safe." replied the death dealer. Grasthos' staff glowed with a crimson aura. "You'll rue the day you left Echo Side!!!" shouted Gorin. The Oblivion Master attacked Grasthos with a downard swipe. The death dealer merely blocked the attack with his staff. "Ha! I am the origional echo you fool. I MADE ECHO SIDE!!!" The red energy travelled from Grasthos' staff to Gorin's naginata. The former god yelled in pain as the crimson aura caused his flesh infinite pain. "That's..." muttered Gorin. The Oblivion Master dropped his tainted naginata and made another. "The very essence of Echo Side..." OOC: As I told the other members of the Oblivion Alliance, Gorin's entire personality is going to change when he finds out the horrible truth. (oh yes, it gets more horrible than that)

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
Quote:
BiC: The tube that the green liquid ran through suddenly reformed, even though it was metal. The deformed general quickly nailed Isis to the wall through her wing, and she screeched of the pain. Latio quickly retaliated, running to her and cutting off the sword-like arm, which grew back quickly. The monstrosity grunted and slashed at the foxfolk with all it's strange appendages, and he doged them, until he backed into a wall. Tohinka brought up his least mutated hand and slashed the foxfolk across his right eye. He grasped atb it. His eye wasn't missing, it was just in constant pain because of the venom in the general's claw. OoC: Believe it or not, this is an upgrade, I'll say what the effects of the venom are. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
OOC: I meant different as in: You had paragraphs in your earlier posts, but now it's clogged together.
BIC: Gorin heard Isis scream as she was pinned to the wall. He went to go help her, but stopped when he noticed Latio going to help. "Hmhmhm, running already?" mocked Grasthos. The death dealer's staff pulsed with the crimson energy yet again, and he was going on the offensive now. Gorin found himself ducking and dodging numerous blows. "Hmph, I thought you'd be better than that." continued the death dealer. Gorin continued to dodge blows until he had backed towards a large tank filled with blue liquid. Grasthos didn't notice the tank, only the fact that Gorin was dodging his attacks. The death dealer finally decided that he had enough of this fight, and drove his staff towards Gorin in what would have surely killed the Oblivion Master. Gorin jumped out of the way, causing Grasthos' staff to pierce the tank of blue liquid. The substance began to flow out of the tank and onto the death dealer. Grasthos was soon covered with the liquid. "Gack!! Not that liquid!" yelped Grasthos. The crimson aura on his staff had been extinguished by the liquid, and he would be unable to create it again so long as the staff was covered with the substance.

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
Isis was in massive pain, her wing being peirced and all. Thankfully, her natural healing ability kicked in and started to repair the hole in the devistated limb. The goddess grabbed her sword and lunged at Tohinka, slicing open his face. This time, however, he didn't heal. The abomination (
) grabbed his gaping face, and thundered backwords into an intrument panel. Sparks flew everywhere as the monstrosity was slowly shocked and cooked to death. Yet, his last words were "Thank you..." :confused:Isis had finished healing by then, and ran over to Latio to see what was wrong. OoC: Just because Latio said so, I'll let him tell what happened. |

OoC: I, Link, why do you have Brian Clevinger's avatar? It's probably under copyright...
BiC: Isis reached Latio, but suddenly the foxfolk entered a seemingly angry state. His grey eyes turned red, and his claw-like nails grew longer and sharper. He dropped his magical blade and lunged at Isis, and pinned her by the arms. The goddess shot a glare spell at the savage foxfolk, and he backed off. She then cast a weak storm spell, which was just intense enough to temporarily paralize the possesed creature. OoC: I'm sleepy. |

Re: A finished rivalry. (Oblivion Alliance)
Gorin parried one of Grasthos strikes. The death dealer's attacks were weaker without the crimson element, but deadly all the same. Gorin took a quick look over at Latio and Isis.
Latio had tried to attack Isis for some reason, and the general was dead. "What happened to Latio?" thought the echo. He quickly turned his attention to Grasthos after that thought. The death dealer was in a defensive pose with his staff. His yellow eyes locked with Gorin's own as the two echos prepared to continue their fight. Gorin was more than surprised when something stabbed his back. The echo turned quickly, the blade sliding out of Gorin's back before it could go deep enough to truly harm him. Standing there was Grasthos, a knife in his free hand. "But you're-" said Gorin. He turned quickly to where Grasthos had origionally been standing, and saw that Grasthos was no longer there. The death dealer had teleported behind the Oblivion Master while leaving an illusionary image of himself in his place. Gorin and Grasthos began to exchange blows. The death dealer used his silver staff for blocking and the knife for attacking. Blocking the knife was easy for Gorin, but he found that attacking back was the hard part. Grasthos struck with the knife harder than before. The sudden change in the strength of Grasthos' attack caused Gorin to lose balance blocking. As the Oblivion Master regained his balance the death dealer slashed several gashes in his stomach. Grasthos laughed and teleported to a chandelier on the cieling. Gorin clenched his wound, dark blood drenching his fingers. "Hahahahahaaa!!!!" laughed Grasthos. "What's so funny!!" roared Gorin. Something didn't feel quite right. The echo's body was shivering for some reason. "Have you ever heard of a tainted element?" asked Grasthos. Goin winced as the shivering increased to a violent shaking. Not waiting for a reply, Grasthos continued. "In small doses it does quite a bit of damage, as it mutates the soul. For an echo however, it merely causes extreme convulsions which lead to pain and deteriation." Gorin clenched his fists. He could feel that he was shaking horribly. Grasthos laughed again, and continued even more. "If you survive this fight, I'd consider you my greatest creation!" Gorin growled and clenched his fists. "What the hell is he talking about?!" thought the echo. Gorin repeated that thought to Grasthos. The death dealer's dark face twisted in an evil grin. He was going to enjoy seeing Gorin's reaction to this... "You're not the real Gorin. Your soul is just a cheap imitation of the real thing!" Time seemed to stand still. Gorin's eyes widened as the Oblivion Master fell to his knees. The convulsions were slowing down, but they had drained the former god's energy. "What?" said Gorin. His voice was a whisper, barely audible to even Grasthos. The death dealer's smile grew to the point that it seemed as if his face were going to rip in half. "You don't realize what I mean, do you? I made your soul by copying the memories of the real Gorin's soul. I then sent you to the newly created Echo Side, in which the holes left by memories I didn't add were filled with memories of despair." Gorin tried to stand up but found that he couldn't get much farther than kneeling on one knee. "I-I'm a fake?" thought the echo. Grasthos let out yet another blood curtling laugh. "N-No! I will not be a fake! I am the real Gorin whether that, that thing says I'm real or not!!!" growled Gorin. A voice entered the echo's mind. He quickly recognized it as Darges. "Heh, you actually believe that? I could kill you right now, seeing as you're so weakened. However, I want my enemy to have nothing clouding their thoughts when I kill them. Think about it yourself." As quick as the voice had come, it was gone. Gorin surged with renewed strength at Darges' words. His uncle was right, he was the real Oblivion Master!!! Grasthos raised an eyebrow. "What the?" Gorin leapt onto the large chandelier. Before Grasthos could even flinch the echo had a dagger through his throat. Grasthos was able to choke out one sentence before his lifeless body fell to the ground. "My notes, my experiments!!!" OOC: Don't have them leave yet. Gorin's going to read Grasthos' notes, as well as unwittingly unleashing three of Grasthos' greatest experiments.
