A scheduled meeting. (BB_11 and somebody else in the Dome)

OOC: Here's the battle I promised BB. This is going to be very interesting.

BIC: Gorin stood in front of the large oak doors. These doors were the entrance to his dieing place, the Dome. He didn't have any intention of letting anybody in the Dome who didn't already know of his rebirth know. Kenjin knew, and had made it apparent in their last battle.

Gorin wasn't here to fight with Kenjin, despite the fact that it would be a very fun fight. He was here with two letters. He needed to replace a few members of the Oblivon Alliance who had deserted the alliance's ranks. After remembering every warrior he had ever seen in the Dome, he had the letters ready.

The two people would face the echo in 2 on 1 combat. If either of them did well enough to gain Gorin's approval, they would be admitted into the alliance. He went over the letter in his mind.

Dear warrior,

I am in need of powerful allies. Meet me outside the Dome's door in the foreign continent. If I know the Dome as well as I think I do, it will show you the way. Do not inform anybody that you have recieved this letter. Leave as quietly as possible, as the last thing I need is attention from the Dome.
Sincerely, Somebody who wishes that not even their name is heard in the Dome at the moment.

He opened the large oak door. Immediately, a domerri appeared. He handed the letters to it. The domerri was really a spy for Gorin, but it still went about its business like any other domerri. Gorin knew he could count on the domerri to keep its mouth shut.

"Bring those letters to their destinations. As always, keep your mouth shut about me." he said. The domerri bowed, its head nearly touching the ground, and flew backwards towards his destinations.

Re: A scheduled meeting. (BB_11 and somebody else in the Dome)

Kain sat in his room, fingering through a small book on vampires, laughing every now and then at what the humans thought of his kind.

“Since when can we turn into bats?” he chuckled, “ah well, ignorance of the unknown is quite a decent excuse for such a book.”

He laid the book back down upon his night stand, as he lay there, staring at the ceiling, when all of a sudden, his door opened and a small, ghastly figure stepped through.

“Message for Kain,” he said, “the sender said it was urgent, and he wishes for you to meet with him at this moment.”

“Who sent it?” Kain asked.

Although it was a reasonable question, the ghost said that he did not know, for the letter miraculously appeared at his feet when he was walking, and he took it upon himself to deliver.

Clearly not convinced of the ghosts stupid story, Kain grabbed the letter as he said, “Gimme Ghosty!”

“I’m a Domerii, thank you very much!” the gho… domerii said, as he stepped out the door and into the hallways of the dome.

Kain read the letter aloud,

“Dear warrior,

I am in need of powerful allies. Meet me outside the Dome's door in the foreign continent. If I know the Dome as well as I think I do, it will show you the way. Do not inform anybody that you have received this letter. Leave as quietly as possible, as the last thing I need is attention from the Dome.
Sincerely, Somebody who wishes that not even their name is heard in the Dome at the moment.”

Kain pondered over the letter for a moment, and decided that he would give this man his time. The letter was momentarily engulfed by a black aura, and then burnt into ashes right on the spot.

“Perhaps I’m taking truth in evidence too seriously.” Kain joked.

The oak door to his room swung open as he stepped out of it. He shut the door behind him and acted as if nothing was happening.
“IF this warrior is correct, then the dome should show me the way. But how will it?” Kain thought to himself.

Kain stepped into an intersection, thinking of which way to go, when his sixth sense vaguely pointed him a direction. The walls themselves to his left emanated power, and it was this power through which he was guided through the halls.

“Perfect!” he said out loud, although snapped his mouth shut to avoid attention from a group of men in kimonos nearby.

Left, right, left, right. Even though he had a guide, the endless maze wandering was tedious and unexciting.

“Dang, when the heck am I going to get there?” he lightly cursed to himself.

Finally, Kain came to a large clearing that looked like an entrance hallway. The chandelier at the top of the room swung on a chain of pure gold, and a blue flame burned from the candles hanging from the walls. A large red carpet stretched out from under a grand silver door through which the house’s power came to a focal point.

“At last.” Kain said. He walked lightly to the door and stopped when he saw a group of warriors enter into the hall. All five of them stared at him.

“Did I interrupt something?” Kain asked in a dumb-found manner.

“Perhaps you should get out of OUR hallway before we make you, punk. I’m surprised the dome doesn’t just spit you out on the spot.” The apparent leader said, his gi (martial arts uniform) looking rather intimidating.

Kain walked over to them with a silent rage in his belly, his blood burning with darkness.

“Catch.” Kain said, as he shoved an open palm of darkness into the leaders chest. The man dropped to one knee, a large burn in his chest, and his shirt burned through. Kain kicked his head down to the ground, knocking him out.

“I’d love to play and chat with the rest of you ladies,” Kain said to the remaining gang members, “but I have a meeting to attend. Be thankful I don’t send you wussies back to the first grade…. Chow.”

Kain turned back and walked to the silver door, he could hear the rustling of the scared men behind him. He stepped through the silver door and found himself in a totally new environment.

In wait for his messenger, he put up his hood and sat on the ground.

Re: A scheduled meeting. (BB_11 and somebody else in the Dome)

"That's artificial sunlight you know." commented Gorin. Kain turned in surprise. He hadn't noticed Gorin leaning against a nearby wall. It was then that Kain noticed something else he hadn't bothered to pay attention to. There were walls made of stone.

"Where are we?" he asked. He took a quick look over the man. He was wearing dark clothes, which practically blended into his skin. His skin was just as dark, as was his hair. The only part of the strange man that wasn't a dark black color was his eyes. They were a dark yellow color, with vertical slits serving as the pupils.

"This is a little known region known as the Underdark." replied Gorin. He continued to lean against the wall. "It is a secret realm between the mortal world and hell." he continued. "My allies, although they probably won't remember me, are the kings of this realm."

Kain took a quick look at the sky. He wanted as little light to touch his face as possible in case it wasn't really artificial. He was surprised to see that there was a swirl of darkness serving as the sky. The light didn't seem to be coming out of anywhere in particular, and it wasn't harming Kain's skin.
Gorin noticed the vampires surprise.

"I wanted to fight you somewhere where you won't be held back by the usal limits of vampires." he said. Kain took his hood off. The artificial light wasn't harming him at all. "So, this is what it feels like to be in complete light." he thought to himself.

He then turned towards Gorin yet again. "Are you the one who sent the message?" he asked. Gorin nodded, his snake-like eyes never leaving the vampire. "I'm going to fight you and somebody else." he said. "If either of you does well enough against me to gain my respect, I shall allow them into the Oblivion Alliance."

The words 'Oblivion Alliance' struck something in Kain's memory. A member of the Oblivion Alliance had died in the Dome, killed by his own teacher. It wasn't the teacher's fault, but it was an emotional death nontheless. Kain didn't quite know fully about it, just that somebody had died in the Dome. Could this dark man be the dead student?

Just then the doors were thrust open as somebody else came from the Dome...

Re: A scheduled meeting. (BB_11 and somebody else in the Dome)

OoC: sorry I’m late.

BiC:
The door opened itself up, and the same men Kain had beaten earlier stood there in the doorway. The Leader had a bandage under his gi, and his cronies were right behind him.

“You’ll wish you never even freaking laid eyes on me!” the leader said, “But who’s butt shall I kick first? Cloak boy, or demon dude? Hmm?!”

“Shut up, mortal.” The Echo glaringly demanded to the gang leader.

“What is your name, Karate-Kid?” Kain asked in a mocking tone.

“I tell you when you lie down on your death bed, freak!” he screamed. He reached into his gi and pulled out an unsheathed katana. He charged at Kain and vertically swiped at the young vampire. It didn’t even skim him, he harmlessly side-stepped it.

He continued swiping at the vampire, until he saw he couldn’t hit him. At which point he let out a loud whistle, and his gang charged, their katana’s unsheathed, at the two enemies.

Swipe by swipe, Kain dodged the blows with little effort, and if any of them dared go after Gorin, he materialized a spear, blocked the attack, and beat them back.

“I am getting bored, uhh… you know I still don’t know your name.” Kain calmly stated as a Katana whizzed past his ear.

“Gorin.” He said.

“OK then Gorin, I’m going to end this, care to help?” Kain asked in a playful manner.

“Fine.” The Echo smirked.

Kain out stretched his hand, and his dark aura surrounded it, and pointed outward. Looking almost like a sword.

“I’ve always wanted to try that,” Kain laughed. He slashed maliciously at the nearest enemy, cutting out part of his chest. A short cry of pain echoed from the collapsed enemy.

Meanwhile, Gorin walked straight into the middle of three opponents. A long polearm erupted from the ground, and he swung it at the three enemies, killing, or at least wounding, all three.

When all enemies but the leader was down, the man in the gi began to lose confidence. Sweat dotted his brow, and he backed up a couple of steps. The men who were not dead on the ground were writhing in pain.

The man had no more sub-ordinates. He was alone against two easily superior opponents. And he was a coward without his cronies. His hands began to shake, and his palms began to sweat. His Katana slipping ever so slightly from his grasp.

Just then, one of the mans cronies got up and slashed at Kain with his Katana, in a last ditch effort to save his leader. (Now that’s devotion). Kain beared his claws, as he turned around, and grabbed the mans Katana in mid-slash. The aura acting as a gauntlet. The mans Katana momentarily glowed with the same aura as Kain’s hand, however then the man’s hand (the one holding it) burst into a brilliant shower of black flames. The man withdrew immediately and passed out. Kain dropped the Katana on his body.

KERCHINK!

Kain and Gorin spun around, and they saw that the leader had ran into the dome and bolted the door from the inside. Leaving them out of it.

“Damn.” Kain and Gorin stated in unison…

Re: A scheduled meeting. (BB_11 and somebody else in the Dome)

OOC: To those reading. This battle has changed to a quest style battle in which Gorin and Kain will help eachother escape the Underdark. Nobody else is allowed to join now.

BIC: Kain hurried to the door. "Maybe he locked it with something easy to break." the vampire though. Gorin was staring at a large hole in the floor. "We have something else to worry about."

Kain turned his attention from the door to Gorin. "What do you mean?" Gorin merely pointed into the large hole. The vampire cautiously walked over to the entrance of the hole. "What the?!"

Staring back at Kain were dozens of pairs of red eyes. The creatures were climbing their way out of the hole. Kain stepped away from the hole and prepared for combat.

"Follow me." said Gorin. The echo started to run towards the distance, but waited for Kain to come with him. "What are you afraid of? It's only a couple dozen monsters." said Kain. The echo jerked his thumb towards the hole.

After a second or two Kain realized that Gorin was motioning to look beyond the hole. "Oh ****." There were dozens of similar holes spread throughout the landscape. Creatures were begginning to flood out of the holes now, and Kain didn't want to be anywhere near such a large group of monsters.

"Okay, you lead!" shouted the vampire. He ran after Gorin, several creatures biting at his heels.
