Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
OoC: Alright, I'll use my newest character Zapri, link to him is in sig.
BiC: Zapri trudged along, he had been traveling for many days straight now, it was a good thing he never ate or drank or he would have surely died. Making his way through some trees and bushes he came along the top of a waterfall, looking around to make sure nobody saw him the alchemist removed his helmet to reveal nothing inside his armor. Zapri bent down and washed his dirty helmet in the crystal clear water, suddenly the bushes russled behind him and he rushed to re-attach his helmet. Diving into the nearest shrubbery he croched down and didn't move. A young man in heavy armor walked into the area, "That's funny," he said, "I could've sworn that somebody was here." OoC: How about we just have them spar okay?

OoC: Okay, I don't want Usaka dieing already!
BiC: Usaka looked around. "Well, I guess I just imagined..." He cut off his sentence halfway, and looked to his left. Even though the armoured man was hiding, he could clearly see a hint of metal, gleaming in the sun. Usaka drew his sword and stood at a defensive position. "Who's there?" He yelled. Ooc: Oh crap. That WAS crap. |

Re: Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
Zapri stood up from his hiding spot, "Uh... hello fellow traveller."
".... Hello." Usaka replied. The alchemist walked forward a bit, "I didn't mean to scare you but you kinda startled me." Usaka held his sword down a bit but he still didn't sheath it, "What are you doing here?" "I was just washing my armor," Zapri said, "what are you doing here?" "I was just wandering around is all." "Oh, alright..." Neither said anything for a moment, they just looked at each other not knowing what to do or say, Zapri broke the tension, "So uh, you're a fighter huh?" "Yes." "You want to... spar?" Usaka cocked an eyebrow, he didn't know how strong and what kind of cababilities Zapri had. "Alright." Zapri pulled up his hands and took a stance, "Alright." Usaka took a stance as well, they looked at each other for a moment, then charged.

Re: Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
Usaka took the first blow, straight in the stomach. It knocked his wind out, and he rolled for over 3 feet, gathering dirt on his way. He stood up just in time to see Zapri charging, aiming a blow at Usaka's face. Usaka didn't know what to do. He was already greatly weakened by the previous blow, and he didn't want to use his powers, but...
Usaka held his hand in the air, and yelled loudly. A pillar of earth went up around Zapri, cutting him off from the rest of the area. "Had enough?" Usaka said. "Not even close!" Zapri yelled back, his voice muffled by the rock. Suddenly, a flash of light, and Usaka was surrounded by rock also. "That was a mistake, my friend!" he yelled, and created a small doorway through the rock. He was already beggining to get tired. Just as he left the shadow of the pillar, he was struck in the side of the head. He fell to the ground, almost blacking out... But Usaka wasn't about to be beaten. He yelled again and pointed his right hand at Zapri, which was imediatly restrained in a field of golden sparkles. Now, Zapri was under Usaka's control. |

Re: Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
"Nope!" Zapri said loudly.
He clapped his hands together and placed one on the ground, then a pole shot straight out of the dirt, using this Zapri jumped out of the sparkling area and smacked Usaka in the side. He slid along the ground for a couple seconds before jumping back up to his feet, he held out his hand again and Zapri was encased for a second time in dirt. But soon there was a short glowing and a door suddenly appeared on one of the walls of dirt, Zapri pushed it open to find a shocked Usaka. He was shocked only for a moment though and disappeared into the ground.

Re: Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
"Well, he might not find me here..." Usaka said. He was about thirty feet under the soft earth, trying to bide some time. He was tired, and he couldn't do many more of the few techniques he knew. "Hmm... I guess it's time to find a new one." He said.
"Where is he?" Zapri said. Suddenly, a massive blow to his back sent him reeling over thirty feet. He got back up and looked around, and saw Usaka standing, panting. Zapri charged, and Usaka didn't seemed suprised. Instead, he merely raised both his hands, and drew over five cubic feet of mud together, into a small ball. Then, he yelled, and another thirty feet of mud came together onto the ball, and increased it's size to a basketball. Usaka smashed his foot onto the ground, and directed the ball at Zapri. The ball moved at over one hundred miles an hour, and completly knocked over Zapri, then encased him in mud, and lifted him off the ground. Usaka was clearely trying to do something, but he was too tired to do anything else but hold him there. So, we drew his sword and walked up to Zapri, held the blade a few inches from his throat, and said: "I win." OoC: Or does he?... |

Re: Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
"Nuh uh!"
Zapri tripped Usaka and kicked him away a few feet, clapping his hands together he pressed them against the ground and a pillar of dirt shot into Usakas back sending him into the air. The young warrior stood up and made a zig zag path for Zapri, but another pillar shot up but this time from under the alchemist. it climbed higher and higher until three yards into the air. Acting fast the alchemist began combining a few ingrediants together and placing them carefully into a vial, down below on the ground Usaka placed his hands on the pillar and it slowly crumbled away. Zapri landed hard on the ground but when Usaka approached with his sword again the alchemist threw the vial of ingredints into Usakas chest, it broke on impact and created a large cloud of mist.

Re: Battle at the Waterfall (I, Link)
"DANG IT!!!" Usaka yelled. He had almost no visability... Why was he taking this so seriously? This is a friendly spar, not a real battle. Usaka was utterly spent, and he decided to end this now. If this next attack did not win him the match, nothing would.
Zapri skirted in and out of the fog at different points, trying to mislead Usaka. After a few minutes, Zapri was bored. "I wonder where he went, back underground, perhaps?" he said loudly, trying to bring Usaka out. "Breath in... Breath out... Breath in... Breath out..." Was Usaka's constant monolouge. Then, all of a sudden, a massive wall of granite, twenty feet high, surrounded Usaka. He yelled, and the wall expanded, consuming everything outside of it. Unfortunatly for Zapri, he wasn't fast enough to outrace the granite wall. "Well.... are you... finished yet?" Usaka managed to get out through his constant panting. "No!" yelled Zapri. Yet another flash of light, and this time, water encased Usaka in a shell about ten feet in all directions. Usaka smiled, and sat down. He yelled, in a muffled voice, "Ok, you win. I can't take any more of this." They both retracted there spells and walked over to each other. They looked long and hard for about a minute, then broke into laughter. "It's good to know that I'm not the best, it gives me time to get better, to get more stamina." Usaka said, before walking off. "Wait, let me give you this gift!" Zapri said. Zapri handed Usaka a small piece of metal, without shape. Zapri clapped his hands together and the metal became engraved, beautiful is not a good enough word for how well it was shaped. "Well, goodbye.... and thank you." Usaka said, walking off toward the East, to begin his new quest. OoC: That was fun! Well, the stamina thing was my undoing, I hope to work on that. I hope to see you again someday. |
