Crusades and Dragon' s breath

Ooc: I will need another person who is good to be my main ally, and any neutral characters to join my cause. I will also need one or two main evil characters and any neutral followers for them to lead the evil crusades. I will use Orama Darku (in sig.)

Bic: The weather is amazing and the temperature is most comfortable. There is just a slight breeze that flows through Orama'a blonde hair as she sits atop a grassy hill. Her legs are crossed and she is focusing her energy. A silver knight riding a big white horse galloped up next to the mage.

"Sorry to interrupt my lady but it is time." The knight said as he reached his hand out.

Orama nodded and the knight helped her on to his horse. They rode west back to the great outpost.

The battle between good and evil always existed but now, it has become a way of life. The evil forces launched a great and successful attack on a nearby kingdom and plan to spread from there. They killed most of the good mages and knights left. Now, the rest was easy. They just had to make their way to the great outpost, the king's back up castle, and destroy him and his followers. For the good, all hope was lost. But one day, a mage named Orama rememberd a legened. The legend of the Dragon's breath. It is said that if the king of the good had the power of the breath then he would be unstopable. The hard part was getting the breath from the great Kuji Mountain west of the outpost........

When the two arrived at the outpost they entered the great hall and stood in front of the king.

"Well, Orama this lengend of Dragon's breath seems to be are only hope. Im sending you and a small crusade to retrieve this breath. You cannot fail or turn back, for, the enemy is getting ready to move and I am almost positive that they also sent a small crusade to get the breath. You must wait in the courtyard for the others, then do what you must!" The king proclaimed

Orama gave the king her hand "I will not fail you my king." She said as she turned and headed for the courtyard.

Ooc: OK, so I think people should post first what side they are on and meet in a common place before the story starts. Good/neutral-outpost courtyard, Evil/neutral-old castle courtyard.

Ooc: I will join, and will supply the evil side of the characters, muwhahah! For my evil character, say hello to Kenji and Sudiko. For his neutral follower, he'll have Gazin.

Bic: Meanwhile, in an abandoned castle...

"Where are they?" asked Kenji, pacing back and forth. Just then, three figures came into the room.

"We have arrived..." said Sudiko, followed by two people.

"It's about time." said Kenji. "The kings forces are being sent to search for something valuabel, probably to save their puny kingdom..." muttered Kenji.

"Don't worry, we're the best there are..." said Gazin.

"Let's just hope that's true..." said Kenji.

Ooc: Hope it's good. Let the crusades begin!

EDIT: Okay, i'll just have the evil side...

OoC: I don't really think its fair for you to controll 7 of the 8 people.
1. You'll not giving anyone else a chance to particpate.

2. You can control practically the whole story by yourself with control over one whole team and three fourths of the other one.

BiC: Cerin flew over the courtyard, watching the fighters gather. He drifted down, his wings spread magnificently. The fighters looked at him and asked, "Who are you?"

"I," he said, "am here to help you. As is my purpose and duty."

OoC: Grrrr...second time to post this, as my dear brother, *glares at above post*, accidently unplugged my pc. Lol. Alrighty, well, I was gonna say I agree with him for once, but you've changed it, so, whatever. Lol. Well, I'd like to join, adding in one of the good character, (or neutral I guess you could say, can't get much better than an angel, grrr..., lol). I'll be using my newest character, Bella. Link in sig. ^_^

BiC: Bella was standing in the courtyard, awaiting the people with whom she would be travelling. Looking for adventure, she had stumbled across this small kingdom and learned of it's plight. She had determined to help in any way she could, but had been uncertain as to how she could be of service. Then she had heard the rumors of the Dragon's Breath. Intriuged, she had studied it as much as she could, and soon learned of the expedition leaving the castle to search for it for the king. It had been easy work to get into the group. Now she could play the good semeritan(sp?), and get what sounded like an awesome adventure out of it!

Just then a blonde half-elf walked into the courtyard, interrupting her musings. She was wearing bright mage's robes, and her blue eyes sparkled inquisitively at the adventurer. "So you're part of the crusade then?" she asked.

Bella smiled. She pushed a strand of reddish-brown hair behind her ear and held out her hand to shake the mage's. "Yeah, my name's Bella, and I can't wait to help in anyway I can."

"Nice to meet you Bella," the half-elf responded. "My name's Orama."

Before the female adventurers could say anything else, something dazzlingly bright flew overhead. It landed with extreme grace and poise before them, maginificent wings spread wide. It was an angel, and he was wearing baggy white pants and a blue shirt, overlapped by a large, fluffy white robe. Light seemed to radiate out from his very being, which, considering what he was, wouldn't have been surprising.

Bella looked him over, taking in his wings, strange clothes, long blonde hair, and strangely bright emerald eyes. At almost the exact same instant as Orama, she said, her voice laden with confusion, "Who are you?"

The magnificent creature said, "I am here to help you, as is my purpose and duty."

"Okay," Bella replied. "That's great and all, but it didn't answer her question."

OoC: Alrighty, having to stop sooner than I wanted to. It's bedtime. Still, I think it's a pretty good post, if I may be permitted to say so. ^_^

OoC: I will be Nerok, he's in my sig. I guess I'm going to be neutral and on the good side.

BiC: Nerok walked into the courtyard of the outpost while he took of his gauntlets and put on his gloves to hide his scales. He had been told that this would be his best chance if he ever even wanted to witness this "Dragons Breath." Dragons Breath would probably be yet another artifact made by a dragon, but yet again he had to try. Looking around the courtyard he spotted a group in conversation. He decided not to join them yet. He convinced himself it was because he didn't want to be rude but in all reality it was because the angel made him feel uncomfortable... He didn't understand why though. He decided to instead to look around for the look for a knight or a general or someone in charge, this couldn't be the entire force...

Why did I come here?

It didn't really matter he supposed. He was here even if it was a careless decision.
He sat down and began his meditation. He was bored and he might as well make progress while he waited.

Ooc: ok, this will be epic! SO before the journey starts we must get organized. so far we got .....
GOOD: Orama, Cerin, Bella, and Nerok BAD: Kenji, Sudiko, Gazin, and Ayakin. Ok, 2 things,
1. Lord Cota you may join, but i will have to ask you to join the evil crusade, since right now it is all DD
2. DD your characters are ok, but I know everyone will agree when I say, this story is set more in the past where Kenji doesnt have a ship! however, we can say he was made by an evil wizard, and he uses some other natural source for power ok?

Alright, I will make one more post in the courtyard, waiting for any late commers, then we will start!

Bic: "Wow, maybe luck is on our side. I mean an angel. I have read about you back in school." Orama said with a smile. "Well come on friends, lets sit at that table and go over the plans. If more come they will see us there."

Cerin and Bella sat down at the table while the angel answered all the questions they had. The mage was just about to go over the plans when she noticed someone else in the courtyard.

"Hey! You part of the crusade?" Orama shouted.

[/I]This is my chance![I] Nerok thought.

"For the dragon's breath?....Why yes of course!" Nerok said as he headed to join them at the table.

Ooc: If you read Kenji's bio, you'll understand why he has it, and how he got to where he is, but some wizard thing sounds good anyway. By the way, I was never intening on using the ship in fights, just for character fics. Lord Cota, i'm getting rid of Ayakin to fill a space for your character. Got no time to post in character, cause of school time!

OoC: I need someone evil for these situations, and I keep having to rely on this, which is a pitiful excuse for me switching sides. But whatever, here we go.

BiC:

*WARNING, WARNING, FLASHBACK COMMENCING*

Dang Man-Ci floated in limbo, brooding. The love of his life had been taken, kidnapped! He didn't understand it, Saoryou was beautiful, yes, but she could match blades with him! An evil force was at work here, yes indeed. In the meantime, he had some gruesome work to do, as he reread the letter he had recieved.

Dang Man-Ci,

Do not question how this message reached you, as you will not find the answer.

The message to you is this: We have your woman, you will do what we say.

At this point the photo evidence fell out of the letter once again, as if it was needed. He was spiritually in tune with her, and could sense the distress. He read on:

You will go to the planet fourty parsecs at at 255 degree angle on a regular interstellar map from Epsilon Indi. A king in the realm is fighting an uprising of Evil there, and as such the organization this letter is originating from does not want him to win.

You will join the opposition stationed there to prevent the King's crusade from obtaining the Dragon's breath, a legendary power said to hold the power to stop the darkness.

If you succeed we will return your woman to you unharmed.

Mother****! Dang thought to himself for the second time today. "DAMN IT ALL!" He shouted into the nothingness, as his dark mood worsened. He went on like this for some time before calming down, and regaining his composure.

Steeling himself for a miserable time, he departed, having heard of the world to which he traveled.

*RETURN TO REALITY IN 3, 2, 1, END FLASHBACK*

Dang stood in the dank room next to Gazin, doing his best to fake malevolence.

"I assure you sir, that it is." He said darkly, playing the part well. He scowled fiercely at Kenji, who was openly undaunted but inwardly, Dang could tell, just a bit shaken.

"Good, you wil soon have time to prove it!" Kenji said to them.

Bic: Kenji pulled a tabel nearby, and put a map on it.

"The king's forces are located in this area." said Kenji, poitning to a castle. "While we are here."

"Where's the Dragon's Breath?" asked Gazin.

"I can't find that yet, but I soon will..." said Kenji. "But first, we will have to meet our opposition. News spreads quickly around these parts, and i've heard Orama Darku is leading the group of crusaders..."

"A mage?" said Sudiko. "This should be fun then..."

"Yes, but we will have to act quickly, or they will get to the Dragon's Breath before us..." said Kenji.

"I agree" Dang said aloud, "They cannot be allowed to get the Breath, no matter what."

"That's kind of why we're here you moron." Kenji said.

Ooops Dang thought to himself, Can't slip like that again...

"Well of course, I felt the emphasis nesscessary. You Sir, aught to realize the imperative nature of our job. So let's get on with it!" Dang recovered.

Ooc: SO it begins...... haha ok cool, DD I suppose you control the evil then. The two crusades will not cross paths until we reach the mountain. On your way there you may run into and battle some good knights as we will battle evil soldiers. Oh, and LC, Dang is cool and all but make sure you stay with this planets technology just like Kenji must! ok?

Bic: Orama sat at the end of the table with Cerin and Bella on one side and Nerok on the other.

"Okay, first of all, thankyou, thankyou for risking your necks for the king and the way of good. We will all watch over each other on this crusade." Orama said as she lay a map open on the table. "Now this is were we are, we are heading east to this mountain, Mt. Kuji. It will be a difficult road due to the number of soldiers, good and evil who travel it. So, if we must we can fly. My great eagle, and Cerin can carry us. That is of coarse, if we run into trouble."

"Well, when do we leave Orama?" Bella said while putting on a smile.

"If you guys need rest or equipment than we will wait, but if you are ready.....then there is the gate." Orama said while pointing twoards the way out.

Ooc: Now, be sure to wait your turn to post! wait for at least two other people to post before you. Unless it is completely neccessary.

Cerin's smile faltered. "Oh...umm..I don't know if I can really carry anyone. I don't think my wings can support anyone other than me."

Orama frowned at that and said, "Oh, well, I supose someone will have to....umm..."

Cerin's face lit up as he had an idea. "If your eagle can support you and Bella, then I could carry this young man here with some sort of harness system. Like something where you put some wing-like flaps on him and a harness that I could carry from above."

The others brightened at that. "We can do that!" Orama exclaimed.

"Well then, lets get to it!''

Bella and Orama sat on the great eagle, while Narok finished straping himself into the makeshift harness and wings. Cerin strapped the other end of the harness around himself and turned to the others.

"I won't be able to fight much while I'm carring Narok, so you all have to kind of cover me. Everyone ready then? Lets go!''

As the group flew quickly eastward and Mt. Kuji grew closer thier conifidence grew.
"Though not my chosen way of travel it seems as though we won't be meeting up with enemy" Nerok stated. Everyone seemed to agree.

I guess I didn't have anything to worry about. Nerok thought as a castle appeared on the horizan.

OoC: Well my first chance to post in a while and there isn't a whole lot to do.

Ooc: Time for evil to get a move on!

Bic: Kenji and his small group exited the abandoned castle, and headed in the direction of Mt. Fuji.

"Hope you can keep up Dang..." said Kenji. "We travel rather quickly..."

Before Kenji could finish talking, Gazin was already gone. Sudiko was already running across the vast field ahead of them. Kenji flew up into the air, and followed the other two.

Dang sighed, "I have to do it for Saoryou." he said, and ran after the trio...

After a long time of traveling...

"Gazin, Sudiko, stop!" said Kenji, landing on the ground.

Gazin and Sudiko ran back to Kenji, whiel Dang was already next to him.

"There are soldiers nearby..." said Kenji.

Sudiko sniffed the air. "Yes, 15 of them..."

"Well then, let's go get them..." said Gazin, getting ready to fight.

Kenji grabbed him and pulled him back. "No, we will have to gain as much information as possible from these soldiers..." said Kenji. "and i'm just the one to do it..."

Kenji bent the light around himself, and turned into a harmless old man. He walked towards the direction of the soldiers, until he met with them.

"Excuse me kind sirs, but do you know where Mt. Fuji lays?" said Kenji.

"Yes, just travel east from here..." said one soldier. "But what are you doing out in the middle of nowhere alone?"

"Well, I was traveling to find the rumored Dragon's Breath, but I don't think it exists anyway..."

Kenji then made a signal which told Sudiko, Gazin, and Dang to come closer.

"Old man, the Dragon's Breath is far from being fake..." said a soldier. "but no one knows where it is..."

"Thank you for directions..." said Kenji. "But it won't help me find the Dragon's Breath..."

"I'm sorry sir, but I can't help you with that..." said the soldier.

"Well now, I can't help but kill you then..." said Kenji.

The soldiers were puzzled for a second, and Kenji turned into his normal self. He made his hand into a sword of light, and pierced the body of one soldier. The other soldiers were startled, and drew their weapons. Gazin then ran to the scene with incredible speed, and then punched a soldier. He slowed down, and then kicked him into the group of soldiers. Sudiko came out of nowhere, and blasted a wave of wind at the soldiers, knocking them down.

"Alright Dang, your turn." said Kenji.

EDIT: Okay, made Dang not look dumb, and be fast too.

OOC: Now come on, Dang is a little more professional than that.

As well as a little faster than that (did you not see it mentioned that he can break the sound barrier while running), you wouldn't exactly outrun him, even if he was half-assing it... You're my friend, so I'm just gonna go with it, but please, next time you talk about another person's character, make sure you portray them correctly, I know people who will get bent out of shape and refuse to battle if you screw their people up.... ANYWAY, time to kick a little soldier ass.

BiC: Dang sprang into the air, letting his training take over and close of his mind. Changing the ions quickly, he stopped his rise abruptly and plummetted at an astonishing speed, drawing his blade. Flipping it in his fingers, he got his other hand on it and landed on top of one of the more sluggish soldiers, impaling the man and abruptly ending his life.

Still having his arms extended and doing what served as a handstand upon the hilt of his weapon, Dang bent his elbows and then thrust back outward, dislodging his sword and flinging himself to a standing position among the still recovering men.

Forcing himself not to think about it, He made the ionic force around him solid, then sent it out in a wave, scattering the men's bodies and sending a few of them into shock, or death.

OOC: See? Dang kicks ass, quickly.

Orama spotted the castle as well, hmmmmm, this castle isnt on the map, and we arent at the mountain yet. The markings on the front say it is one of ours, but it looks empty.

"Hey Cerin! We will stop at that castle and check it out! Then we will walk the rest of the way!" Orama shouted over the wind.

They all landed in front of the castle. Maru flew off into the distance and disappeared. Orama's ring lit up indicating that Maru was gone into the holy realm. Nerok streched and gave off a moan. Bella did the same.

Cerin was already on his way to the gate so the others follwed. The angel kicked the doors opened. There was nothing but a disgusting stench.

"Well, lets check for life." The mage said as she made a ball of light at the end of her staff and entered.

They walked into the great hall. They could only see as far as the ball of light would allow them.

"W..What was that?" Bella said in a worried tone.

"Ha, most likely a rat or somethin." Nerok exclaimed.

Just then two large demons jumped out at them. Orama Created a bigger ball of light one that could light the whole room. One demon was furry with horns. The other had scails and a lizard like head. Both of them stood eight foot tall. Cerin raised his weapon........

Ooc: come on good people! lets get rollin! The evil boys have already started a fight!

Cerin raised his weapon with one hand and held out he other toward the furry demon. A beam of white light shot out at it, hissing as it connected with the hairy flesh.

"HA! Don't like the taste of holyness do you?" The demon leapt away from the light, but Cerin kept the beam on it. Suddenly, the lizard demon rushed him, bowling him to the ground.

Cerin shot a globe of light in it's face as it jumped in front of him. The demon, momentarily blinded, hopped backward, giving Cerin the chance to fly up into the air and ready Heaven's Spear.

OoC: Sorry it's been awhile since I've posted guys. But, I'm here now and ready to kick some demon butt! ^_^

BiC: Bella quickly stepped back and grabbed her bow in one fluid motion. She pulled an arrow and nocked it, aiming for the furry demon. She let the arrow fly straight for the monster's chest. The missile sped through the air and embedded itself into the demon with a dull thunk. It was immediately followed by two more, landing directly below the first one.

Bella turned, considering firing at the other demon as well, but thought better of it. The overlapping scales would easily deflect her arrows, doing nothing but waste them. She turned back to face the furry monstrousity, whom Nerok had started attacking. Positioning herself so she wouldn't hit her ally, she let loose another trio of arrows. Arrow after arrow embedded itself in the thing's flesh. It didn't seem to be phasing much though, it continued to fight, ignoring the wooden shafts sticking out of it.

Bella lowered her bow and glared in frustration at the monster. This wasn't working. She looked around, and saw some small plants growing between the cracks of the stones and against the walls. Thankful that this was an old rundown castle rather than a new one, Bella smiled and readied her magic.

Nerok stood to face the furry demon and whilst reaching for his throwing daggers, though he knew he would have to get into close combat considering how fast a demon like this could move. He only had a chance to throw a few daggers enchanted with fire before the beast was upon him horns first. But those were enough for him to find out that like most this demon was all but immune to fire. Though he decided to use fire anyway, it still had it's uses.

"I hate demons..." Nerok muttered as he slid under the demons legs and slemmed his hand, incased in a flaming gauntlet, on to the demons back. Though a blow would at least knock the breath out of someone it only dazed it for less than a second, barely more than Bella's arrows.

I hope she's doing something useful or this could take a while.

The demon then slammed it's huge hand down at him. He manged to get away from the powerful blow enough so that he wasn't killed but he was slammed into the nearby wall. He then used what fire was still useful for and shot out a dozen flares which blinded the cruel beast long enough for Nerok to scramble up the wall.

Kenji flew up into the air, and began firing beam some light at the soldiers. It pierced two of them, leaving 14 soldiers left. Sudiko ran up to a soldiers, and shoved his claws into his abdomen, piercing his armor, and sliced the man apart(ewww). Gazin fought the men hand-to hand, but when they pulled out their weapons, Gazin just ran behind them, and tripped them. Dang ran up to a soldier, and sliced at him with his greaves. The soldier blocked, but Dang kicked him back with his leg. The soldier fell, and Dang jumped on him, and shoved the sword into his armor, and ended his life. Kenji turned his hand into a sword of light, and sliced a soldier running at him in half.

"11 left..." said Kenji.

Gazin ran at a soldier, grabbed him and threw him into the air, and kneed his spinal cord while he landed.

"Make that 10..." smirked Gazin.

Ooc: Nonononono! The good guys are already fighting a bad guy and winning?! :mad: Ah whatever, let them fight...we'll meet soon. Muwhahahaha!
