Reclaim the Skies! (1 vs 1)

Metallicco roared his madness in a huge bellow. He turned into a raging Dragon Twister and smashed through a mountain. He slowed down and roared again. He was so angry and frustrated. He had lost his last battle and he couldn't understand why. How could the Lord of the skies lose to such mortality so easily! He thought hard, he had everything, magic, brute strength and complete defences from any and all head-on attacks. He snarled as he flew over another mountain.

Out of the corner of his eye, he noticed a small village. Driven with a sudden wild abandon, he flew down towards the city, he chin-iron glistening in the frail sunlight. An energy wave appeared just in front as he performed his devastating Dragon Iron.

OoC: Ideally, you should be somewhere in the village to start the fight off, but if you have something more original, feel free to show me up! Oh, and you'll lose instantly if Metallicco destroys the town completely, the idea is to prevent him from reaching it. Think you're up to the challenge? Metallicco's link is the in BA Part 1

OoC: Hey I have a great character to fight yours. I posted it yesterday, and now I'm waiting for it to be approved. So if you don't mind, could you reserve me? If you don't want to wait thats fine, but I don't think it would be long.

Yeah, I can wait.

Cerin laughted and spun around and around. He beat his great wings and drove himself higher. Suddenly he noticed a gleam below him. Looking down he saw a gaint winged snake-like creature speeding toward a village. "Oh, no you don't" Cerin beat his wings faster and harder, then dived, pulling his wings in tight.

Pulling the Chain of Heaven out of a clip under his robe, he opened his wings several hundred yards in front of the rageing beast. He swung it quickly around and yelled, "Hey! Just who do you think you are?! And what are you trying to do?! If you're trying to harm those people, you'll have to get through me! Now, halt, I say!"

Metallicco roared. The angel swung the Chain of Heaven. It connected with Metallicco's head, but had no effect at all!
"What the-?"
Metallicco's head slammed past Cerin. He dived towards the city.
"Oh no you don't!"
Cering grabbed Metallicco's tail, and attempted to drag him back. Amazingly, Metallicco stopped in mid-air and turned to face him.
"Puny mortal..." he hissed, "you ssshall feel the wrath of Metallicco! Sssupreme Ruler of the Sssky!"
"Bring it!"
"Very well," Metallicco spread his claws wide and looked up above Cerin.
"Heaven's Pillar!"
Three pillars, which had once been used to support heaven off the ground, fell screaming through the air towards Cerin.
"Holy magic?"
"No Divine Magic..."

BiC: Cerin dodged the pillars, flying right between them. He turned back to Metallicco and saw him heading back towards the town.

"Oh, no you don't." He gathered the Chain of Heaven and started twirling it again. He threw it at Metallicco's wings, wrapping it around his two middle wings. Metallicco looked back and roared his fury.

"How dare you!!! Wha-" he was cut short, for his other two wings could not support them by themselves. He started to drop slowly, but he brought Cerin with him, who was still holding onto the chain.

Metallicco fell faster and faster, until he crashed to the earth. He let out an almighty roar, and clawed at the unbreakable chains with his arms. Cerin held onto the chain with one hand, and raised the other above his head, forming a large ball of light.

"Now what are tring to do to that town? What did those people do to you? And, who, exactly are you?"

BiC:
Metallicco hovered off the ground. Angel, bah! I've eaten bigger things for breakfast!
"Speak! Beast!"
"Fool... Do you think you can defy Godssss?"
"Wha?"
"I am Guardian of the Earth. The Godsss decree that the village musst be dessstroyed!"
Cerin stoon, the ball of light over his head.
"Why would a God want the village destroyed?"
"I don't know. I am merely the messenger, not the God!" Metallicco barrel-rolled in an attempt to get Cerin off.
"Give up!" Cerin was still holding on, but was unable to fire the ball because of Metallicco's squirming.
"Fool! Dragon Twissster!"
"What the-"
Metallicco began barrel-rolling at high velocity. Without warning, he bored into the ground, Cerin was thrown off by the impact with the ground, releasing the chain, still wrapped around the dragon!
"Let's see how your little chain holds against the heat of the centre of the Earth!!"
The ground trembled and Cerin floated a few feet above. Suddenly, the ground erupted behind him, releasing the Dragon's spinning form! The chain was in his mouth, he had somehow unravelled it, but had not destroyed it!
"Hmm... I wonder how this magic tastes?"
He flipped it up into the air, his mouth wide open...

"Nooo!" The angel threw out his hands and made the chain straighten out and wrap around Metallicco's jaw. The chain quickly tied itself off, locking his jaw in place. "HA!" Cerin let out a luagh of triumph and raised both hands above his head, materealizing twin balls of light.

He fired them both at Metallicco's arms, hoping to damage them before he got the chain off. As they collided with him, he whipped his head and sent the chain sliding off. He turned to Cerin in rage and pain.

"Die fool!" He let out roar that was followed by a jet of fire. Cerin smiled and held out one hand at the flames and the other at Metallicco. As the flame reached his hand, Cerin absorbed it and fed it out his other hand and back to Metallicco.

The flame collided with his neck and Cerin ran it all across his belly and over his wings. "Give up now?"

Metallicco bellowed and roared. The flames searing his body were strong and intense.
"Dragon's Circlet!"
Cerin watched in amazement as metallicco grabbed his own tail in his mouth. He began to follow his tail around in a huge circle, faster and faster he went...
"You'll have to do better then that!"
"I will do!"
Metallicco's form became incredibly fast. Steam hissed from the dragon's flaming form!
"So you put the flames out, big deal!" Cerin wasn't impressed.
he gasped, a huge watery snake-head rose up from Metallicco's body. It grinned evilly, then attacked.

OoC: Ummm..you didn't really say much of what this attack does, so...

BiC: Cerin dodged as the watery snake lunged at him. He whipped out Heaven's Spear from under his robe and brought the axe end up under the watery neck. The snake dissaperated as the weapon went through it and Cerin turned his attention back to the ground where Metallicco....

What?! Where did he go?! Cerin thought as he scaned the ground for the enemy. Suddenly, he heard a mighty roar above him of, "Dragon Twister!"

Cerin turned in time to see Metallicco diving at him. The spinning foe collided with Cerin, slammed him into the ground, and proceeded to buried him under the surface about 10 feet.

Metallicco retreated out of the hole peering in to see what had become of the angel. But he was blinded as a large globe of bright light formed. Cerin heaved the ball at Metallicco's open mouth as he let out a roar of pain.

As the globe of light collided with the dragon's jaw lining, so did the sword end of Heaven's Spear slice through his tail, pinning it to the ground.

OoC: HEY! You are dropping the ball! Your letting the battle die!

OoC: No I'm not. I've been playing Mario Kart DS. So sue me.

BiC: Metallicco roared in frustration. His tail had been sliced through. Enraged by his embarrasement, he flapped his wings all at once, propelling him straight into the air, though the weapon was ripped out of his tail in the process.
"Time to sssay bye," Metallicco looked back at Cerin, who was hovering above the hole, he decided to try a new tactic.
"Heaven's Pillar, Dragon's Roar!"
The pillars began falling again, as Metallicco blasted Cerin with a football-sized ball of flame. He spat another dozen, surely one of the attacks would hit?

Cerin absorbed the balls of fire and fed them out his other hand, catching one of the pillars in an eruption of flame. The jet slowed the decent of the pillar, while the angel directed it into another one. Both pillars fell to the side, barely missing Cerin as they collided with Metallicco.

But Cerin couldn't do anything about the third pillar in time; the massive stone pillar slamming into him as the other two slammed into the dragon. The angel rolled out from under the bottom of pillar, his wings snapping open.

He watched the three pillars and Metallicco crash to the ground and readied himself for another attack. He watched the dust and dirt swirl around below, knowing that his foe was somewhere down there.

Suddenly, a great watery snake head lashed out at him from the cloud of dust. Cerin brought up his hands and quickly let off twin bolts of lightning that tore the watery monster to pieces.

He wasn't thrown by tMetallicco's trick through; he whipped around and fired two more bolts blindly behind him. One of the bolts flew unhindered, but the other hit the sneaking dragon squarely in the jaw.

Metallicco let out a roar of anger and pain and launched himself at Cerin.

This was it, the last attack. Metallicco landed on the ground.
"Dragon's Roar!"
He blasted his fiery wrath at Cerin. He watched as the angel countered the move and blast it right back at Metallicco.
"This... is it..." Metallicco had lost the will to continue fighting. He closed his eyes, allowing the flame to smother him...

OoC: Sorry it's short, but I have coursework to finish.

OoC: Does this mean you surrender?

OoC: Yeah, pretty much. It was a good fight though.

OoC: Thanks, you too.

BiC: Cerin waited as the smoke around Metallicco billowed. As the smoke cleared, and he saw the sad state of his foe, he lowered his weapon. "If I let you live, will you promise, never to atempt to harm this city again?"

Metallicco looked up at him in surprize. "You mean, you will let me go?"

"Yes."

"Then, I swear I will never return to cause harm here."

Cerin smiled warmly at the creature and raised his hand. Metallicco stiffened and closed his eyes, hardly able to contemplate that the angel was breaking his word. A golden beam shot down from the angel's hand, engulfing the dragon.

Surprizingly, Metallicco felt a tingiling warmth spread through him. He stood up as his wounds healed and his strenght returned to see Cerin flying away from him and the city.

Though not as strong as he was before the fight, Metallicco was now strong enough to raise into the air, and fly to a nearby cavern to rest.
