Legend of Fire path (8 people please)

OoC:Time to use Essence, located in sig

Essence looked at the books stacked in front of her. She was going to find out of that orb in her body. She knew it was found in a volcano named Mt. Himicala. She got many books on that particular volcanoe. She skimmed the tittles, soon one came up, legends of the fire orb. She knew this orb was real, the legends are too then. She skimmed through the stuff she already knew. It never said how it was created or what it's purpose was for. Just legends, and that the fire orb must complete the legends. Essence was partly surprised, partly satisfyed. Finally, a chance to train. It showed picures of it. She looked at picures from the lab she recovered after she destroyed it. The 2 orbs, looked different, the picures in the book were photographs due to the quallity. Her hope sank. Then she thought, they must be for both orbs, there was only one orb seen in that volcano. She still thought negetively, I'll try the first one to be sure. She opened it to the first legend. Legend of Fire path, this trial was the first. This one needs teamwork to complete. And only the one with Fire orb can get to the final chamber. This tests the fire power of the orb only, no fake orbs or black magic can enter the fire chamber. Only teamwork of others may let the orb keeper pass too. Once this has been fulfilled, the orb keeper must continue with trials. Located in Mt. Htaperif

Essence looked up and left to the road with the book. She went to the newspaper and put in, Essence Rytori in need of service of people who are willing to fight with her to fire path, please meet in Hyrule inn for information, she went to hyrule inn and reserved a room and awaited some travlers.

Apollo was taking his daily prayer walk through the Hyrule market, Of course he received a couple of suspicious faces as he walked by. It was kind of frightening to see a man with a chest plate that had the symbole of a dark flaming skull on his chestplate that would make the devil cry. And not to mention the helmet upon his head that covered every inch of his face. None of his skin was visible. A couple guards kept a close eye one him as he walked on past. But there were some who knew about him and how he had saved countless lives from various deaths and other trageties.

Apollo decided to buy a newspaper and see what was going on in Hyrule that day. first page was nothing much, just saying that they opened a new Bow and Arrows boutique at the other end of town. How many does this land need anyway? He kept reading on untile a certain add stood out to him, he didn't know why but he had a feeling that he was meant to take on this challenge.

Ooc: Short opening, most openings usually are. :confused:

Edit: That would be awsome if Kenjin and Tuariv joined. It would be just like old times.

Ooc:Tuariv is now Viraut, and It is pitiful only 1 person joined so far, I'm gonna PM some people to join

Bic:Essence waited in the loby, waiting for any warriors. Then she saw a strange man with armor covering his whole body. She went up to him.

"Excuse me sir, are you here for Fire Path" The man turned and looked down at Essence.

"Indeed I am, where is Essence?"

"You're looking at her" The man looked supprised. He didn't laugh, which was supprising to Essence.

"Well, when will we take off?"

"When more people show up" Essence then sat down on a chair.

"By the way, I'm Apollo."

Essence looked at him and smiled, "Nice too meet you then"

OoC: I shall use Naoko and Nyoko

BiC: Naoko and Nyoko were traveling along the road to town. "We haven't done much training since we left home," Nyoko said to Naoko. "I know. I think if we go to this next town we could find something." They entered the town and looked around the area. A newspaper blew through the air and smacked Naoko in the face. Nyoko grabbed the paper and read through it quickly. She spotted something about Fire Path and showed Naoko. "You think this is worth a try?" she asked Naoko.

"Yes it is. Let's go to the meeting place where the add says." They walked through the town looking in many directions. Naoko saw a dog stop and growl at him. They stepped inside a building and looked around for whoever started the ad.

Ooc:K, PowerShot replyed back sayin he wants to reserve a spot.......

Bic:Essence looked back up to see 2......mages by the looks of it. Twins. Essence walked to them and greeted.

"Hi! Are u here for Fire Path?"

The girl replyed, "Yes, are you Essence?"

"Yes I am! And you guys are......"

This time the boy replyed, "I am Naoko, and this is my twin sister, Nyoko"

"I'm glad you guys came, you may want to get a room, I am waiting for others to come, sorry if it displeases you guys"

The girl smilied and said, "Not at all" They went to get a room.

OOC: Joining with Harges. You know, I've been in battles with all of you before! Quest style with Chari and Quark, battle royal with Dan, quest battles and team battles with Powershot.

BIC: Harges walked into Hyrule town. He rarely went to this town, seeing as the temple of time held such close relations to the three godesses. The former god e=recieved shocked looks from two guards at the gate, and instantly killed them. They had obviously seen the pictures that had been circling around of him, death warrants.

"It's too bad those pitiful fools don't know I'm immortal." sighed Harges. The warrants had started when his brother Darges had possessed a wealthy merchant. Darges wanted the former god dead just as much as Harges wanted his son Gorin dead.

It was then that Harges noticed the flyer. "Hmm, seems interesting. It'll take my mind off of this whole business of restoring my power, killing my son, and avoiding my brother while I'm at it." Harges went to the Hyrule inn. "Hello? Is this where we sign up for the little quest thing?"

OOC: I've noticed that this inn must be infamous. 3 out of 5 quests start at "Hyrule Inn", which must make that place pretty popular!

OoC: Let's see, this group included Chari, Scoria, Quark and me in the start. Then Mikey joined the group. Most of our fighters are connected somehow, I'll get Scoria's butt in here.

BiC:

Chronos had returned to the inn, where so many of his adventures had started. The prison break, the travels to the treasure. But now he had returned at the calling of another person, whom he did not know, but if she ran in the same lines of Twilight and Kika, he had a pretty good idea of who he would see.

He opened the inn door as he had so many times before, it would probably not be the last time either. He had met Raziya in here, he still thought fondly of her.

He made his way to the girl who had placed the ad, striking everyone there with awe at his mysterious shape, or rather the fact that he was covered in black, including his face.

"I'm Chronos, I'm here for the mission."

OoC: Orders of business: We need to name this place, I suggest The Drunken Hillbilly. We also should come up with a name for our little group of members that always seem to come together.

OoC: I'd like to reserve a spot, I'll post Latio's intro after I read the battle so far.

OoC: I suggest.... the name.... warrior... guys... of doom!

BiC:

"It's been a while..." Viraut sighed as he looked on into Hyrule Market.

The boy had not been there for a long time, he had to do more searching... for himself. He was sure his first memories weren't of horrible pain in a fortress, there was something deeper, and hidden, but unattainable at the moment.

Something inside told him that he would soon meet with someone he'd been with before, sighing again the ninja entered the market. People running from one stand to another, talking loudly, making noise, even arguing. It annoyed Viraut to an extent he nearly left, but he knew where he should go.

Hyrule Inn, destiny always seemed to force him into a party of adventurers whenever the boy went into the building, as if every quest just happened to start there. Sighing for a third time Viraut went in, bought a room, and sat down in a corner to rest.

"Oy! Whats do your shink you're doinsh?! Ehh?!"

Just as Viraut closed his eyes he opened them again to see a drunk starting a fight, always happened. "Is there no peacein this world?" The boy stood up and left for the stairs, and went up, thinking he saw someone he had met before but just brushed the thought away.

Viraut sat down on his bed, and then went to sleep with claymore in hand, just in case... maybe here he could get some peace.

OoC: Ok, Latio's gonna be a sneaky little twit and follow your guys

BiC: Latio had been trying to buy a new weapon in Hyrule market. "Lousy sword. Why to you have to be wielded so clumsily!?" he shouted, apparantly to his sword. Kai had explained to him previously that he should look less... conspicuous... so Latio decided to dress like a "normal" person, so he wouldn't scare the villagers. Suddenly, he caught the smell of ninja weapons. "Another ninja, why, that basicly all I fought" he muttered to himself, after finding a comfortable place for his Horizon Scar. "I have officially decided that, number one, there are way too many ninjas in this world, and two, I hate ninjas." Latio went into the Inn, sat down in a corner, and ordered a pint of Hyrulian Scotch. "He seems to be with others, mabey their on a quest for a new weapon I can take..."

Ooc:I sugest, Blood Spreaders......people......yea.......

Bic:Essence was happy that more people had shown up. Ignoring the fact of these drunks fighting, it was good. Essence walked to the, rather mysterious man in black.

"I am Essence, you are for the mission right?" He noded "Okay, who are you?"

"I am Chronos" The man answered back.

"Okay, Chronos, you may want to wait here, we might leave soon." As Chronos took a seat, Essence walked to the demon.

"Uh....are you here for the mission?"

"Yes, you are Essence?"

"Yes, you are...."

"Harges." Essence saw him go take a seat. She saw none else and started to also take a seat. Then someone kreeped behind her. She jumped and turned. She saw a ninja, about 1 year older.

"I'm here for the mission too"

"Very well, I'm Essence" She walked to a seat, away from the Drunk fight. They would be leaving soon.

Ooc:If none is going to fill the 2 leftover spots, they'll have to join us during the journey. We'll be taking off from the inn soon.

OoC: Seeing as theres already a pair of twins in here, I would have liked to use my twin characters, but there already in two other battles, so....

BiC: Skif look around the small inn and noticed the small group of people standing in a corner. Well, lets see....a demon, twin mages, a man with no eyes, a small girl, a ninja, and two people who look like they were made out of metal. Oh, my. What a bad combination of peoples. I already smell trouble, and we haven't even gone anywhere yet.

Walking over to the group, he pulled down his hood and asked, "Who here is Essence?"
The small half-breed looked up at him bravly and declared herself to be Essence. Without missing a beat, he held up her ad and asked if he could join.

"Sure! We were about to leave anyway since no one else had showed up." She started to gather everyone about her to leave, but Skif stopped with a raised hand and said, "Wait, before anyone goes anywhere, I wnt to know something."

The small woman looked at him in confusion.

"But, I said everything in the ad. What could you want to know?" The minish warrior smiled at her and replyed, "I want to know what I'm going to get paid for this."

OoC: I'd like to suggest the name "The Green Dragon" for the Inn/bar, unless you don't like Lord of the Rings...

BiC:

"*yawn* That was an okay nap, I geuss." Viraut sat up and strapped his claymore to his back once again, hearing a large amount of rucuss deownstairs. "Stupid drunkards."

The boy grabbed his things and walked down into the bar when the fight finally died down, three Hyrule guards had been called in to stop the brawl and were currently pulling the men appart. Drunken fools. The ninja grabbed the local paper, ordered some food, and sat down with the paper in his face to read. Perhaps if I read this way then nobody will bother me...

Some time passed and eventually Viraut overheard some people talking about a mission.

"I am Essence, you are for the mission right?... Okay, who are you?"

"I am Chronos"

Uh-oh... I'm not in the mood.

"Okay, Chronos, you may want to wait here, we might leave soon."

Viraut held his newspaper up even higher in an attempt to hide himself, he didn't want to be dragged into another adventure right at the moment. He felt a little thump on the other side of the table, Chronos must've been the one.

"Hey when you're done with that can I have it?" Chronos asked.

Damnit, what do I say?... "Uh uh... uh yeah sure..."

"Hey you sound kind of young, are you sure you should be here?"

"Just go away." Viraut replied quickly.

"Well aren't you the crabby one." Chronos from what Viraut could hear stood up and walked away.

"Phew."

Suddenly the newspaper was pulled away revealing Chronos right infront of Viraut! "Well, we meet again huh?"

bic: Jamenda was in the Hyrulin library loking for an atlas of the known world when he heard a bunch of kids mumbling about something. Jamenda went over to hear better. They were talking about a article in the news paper. Jamenda went and grabbed one. On the seconed page there was an article about a orb or something but Jamenda was only thinking about the chalenge. Jamenda went to the hotel and asked if there was a someone known as Essence.

OOC: There we go, eight people. You joined just in time God of shadows.

BIC: Harges smelled a strange scent, and bolted up from his chair. An angel-ish creature had just asked Essence about the adventure. For some reason, the person smelled familiar. The former god couldn't quite think of how the person smelled familiar, and decided that he would have a drink before thinking on the subject more.

Harges sat down and ordered a "Hyrulian exquinion" the most expensive drink on the menu. Not many people got the drink due to it's price, but Harges had a large amount of money due to the fact that he sold the armor and weapons of any warrior he killed. The waitress set Harges' drink on the table, and was quickly off.

The former god was surprised that the waitress hadn't screamed in terror at him, which was a sign that quite a few demons met at this bar. Harges brought the cold liquid to his lips and drank a few small gulps. "Ishaw! Where did Buzza go?!" came a voice.

A fat man had just walked out of the restroom, and seemed oblivious to the fact that a few drunks had been dragged out by guards. "Are youshh the guy what did the thing ta Buzza?" the drunk asked Harges. Harges didn't answer, and the drunk grew impatient. In an unexpected move, the drunk slammed Harges' drink in his face, breaking the glass and spilling the expensive drink everywhere.

The former god stood up quickly, and glared angrily at the drunk.

OoC: For our group, how about the BA Knights? I like The Green Dragon though for the inn.

BiC:

"Nice to see you again Viruat," Chronos muttered, grabbing the paper with his metal hands. "How've you been?"

"Busy," Viruat answered, though he really hadn't been.

"That's nice, have you recovered your memories yet?" Chronos asked, sitting down next to the teen.

"No."

"Well, neither have I," Chronos sighed, "I guess that's one thing we have in common. I'm glad you decided t find out for yourself instead of me telling you."

Poor child, he will learn what he was one day, just as I will.

"I still have that vial," Chronos muttered absent-mindedly, taking out the red vial from his pocket. "I'm trying to find a way to use it for fighting."

Apollo turned around to see the battle begin, if you would even call it a battle. Harges' arm morphed into a snake which slithered down the man's throte and pulled out the Drunk's heart, spilled blood everywhere. Guards rushed to stop him but he simply looked them in the eye and performed his despare trick, they ran off in fear. He sat back down and frowned at his smashed drink. "Waitress." He said calmly as if nothing happened. She returned with the expensive drink.

Apollo knew that moment that this... thing could not be trusted. He stared at the beast long and hard untile Harges noticed him as well. Harges stared back at him. Their eyes met and both of them knew that they wouldn't get along. Apollo prayed silently, Protect us. was all he prayed.

Apollo went to the bar, the bar tender offered him a drink, he declined and just sat there, thinking. The reason he wouldn't drink is quite obvious; He dosn't want anyone to see his face, he also dosn't like to get drunk, but he does drink at times when he's angered and in private. When he had decided to get up, Harges was still watching. Apollo tried to ignore him but couldn't. He walked over to Essence, "When are we leaving?" he asked, without removing his eyes from the demon. "I would like to know if this demon can be trusted, in my experiance they never could be."

"Oh really?" Viraut replied in a sarcastic tone.

"Why yes, yes I am." Chronos said ignoring the sarcasm as he pulled out the vial for a second, then returned it to his pocket.

"Alright, let me geuss, you're here for some quest or mission or whatever... and you'll drag me along against my will huh?"

"Wow, your quite crabby aren't you."

"I'm surprised you're not, what with being a freak as well." Viraut retorted quickly.

"Save the bull***** for when others aren't around to hear it, punk."

Viraut rolled his eyes, "Whatever. Just show me to the person who is hiring for the mercenary work."

"Okay then."

Viraut stood up and followed Chronos over to a young girl who was waiting around, "Hello I am Essence, you're here for the mission right?"

Viraut had to admit that he was stunned himself at the age of the girl, "Psst, Chronos... she's younger even than me."

The metal man didn't reply but instead pushed Viraut into the girl causing them to bump into each, knocking their heads together."

"Ow." They said in unison, the girl blushed, Viraut did nothing.

"Yeah I'm Viraut and my uhh... friend here wants me to join."

"Okay then, just wait in here and I'll get you when we're going to leave."

Essence walked from the ninja who had just bumped into her. She went to the table and then pulled out her map. She started to look for the mountain. She looked and found that is was right next to death mountain. Wow, this is so incovenient She thought as she looked for a route. Soon she heard a question asking for her by man. She looked and did the introductions. Then she went straight back to her map. This route is the quickest, should take 1 day.

Ooc:God of Shadows, the link to your char won't work, is it even approved?

OOC: Yeah, his character has been approved. I saw to it myself to help him make his character, seeing as we know eachother outside of ZU. I'll try to find a better link to Jamenda. I gave him that link through a PM, but it seems to not work so I'll get a better link.

BIC: Harges took a big gulp of the drink. He could feel that Appolo wasn't comfortable around him, and laughed under his breath. "If he's this uncomfortable, then he should have seen me when I was alot more powerful than this." he thought to himself.

"Excuse me, but could I offer you something to eat sir? You probably need to eat something with all that liquor your drinking." said the waitress. Harges looked in her direction. "I guess you could give me something to eat. Unfortuneately for you, I eat souls."

Harges shot a spear out from his chest, which stabbed the waitress through the heart. A ball of light, which was only visible to the supernatural, floated out of the wound as the waitress' eyes went blank. The former god sucked the soul into himself through his mouth. "Hmm, I always wondered what a slut's soul would taste like."
