Celebration time!/ practice fight

OOC: I thought I'd celebrate the fact that Gorin was able to attain three upgrades within the same month so he's going to fight two newbies. I did a practice fight like this not too long ago. Two people who are new to the BA, but have characters, can face Gorin. I will give pointers and stuff like that, and essentially teach you how the BA works while we fight.

BIC: Gorin entered the arena. The dark god had signed up for another tournament, something he loved to do. The bloody fights had raged all day long, and the arena floor was caked in dry blood. The spectators however, were ready for the peak of the tournament. The last four fighters would be fighting in a two on two fight, the winning team would have to fight amongst themselves for the first place prize of ten thousand diamonds, sixety emeralds, seventy nine gold pieces, and five rubies.

The air smelled of death, as most of the fighters had died during the tournament. Gorin had ensured that each enemy he had faced was dead before he moved on, and felt confident that he could beat whoever he had to fight.

""Ok, are you ready!" shouted the announcer. Gorin noticed that it was the same anouncer from one of his first fights, a two on two fight against two of his top rivals. "I never noticed him." thought Gorin. The anouncer noticed that Gorin had fixed his gaze on him, and scrambled to find cover in case the god of wrath was angry at him.

"Fight!" The anouncer yelled from somewhere in the crowd. Gorin smiled. He instantly turned on his teamate and tore his head off with his bare hands. The demonic diety lifted the head over his own and squeezed some blood into his mouth. Even though he didn't usually drink blood, Gorin wanted to intimidate his oponents.

After he finished with the head, Gorin threw it to the ground and smashed it with his foot. Smiling, he looked at his oponents with an evil glare in his eyes.

OOC: Remember that you have to be new to the BA, as I will be giving you pointers and stuff like that.

OoC: I'll join i've only done one battle so far. Man..... its like uber melee...this will be bad. I'm using Raid he's in my sig....I'll wait for my partner to post...

Edit: Ooc: Mecha Sonic? Small world. And yes Raid is in many thing he'll soon be in my comic at the art section in Emerled Coast anyway.

Bic: Raid traveled quickly he haerd of the great challenge from the great demon god thingy. He entered the areana seeing it devout it's partner..."Hmmm this won't be easy but I will win." He mutterd as he watched the demon intensly.

OOC: Wow, the battle hasn't even started yet and already I have one thing to correct. Even when your joining a battle, you still have to put an in-character post. Basically, tell how your character got there, what his/her first impression of their opponent(s) is, and what they think of their surroundings. And you should end it with something like your character getting ready for the fight.

EDIT- I see you based your character off of your story back at Emerald Coast. Isn't it strange how your facing off against me, dum dum de dumm!!! I'm Mecha Sonic back at Emerald Coast. Hi Link_twin, or should I say Sonic_Twin?

OoC: Okay count me in

BiC: Mitch grinned as he stepped into the arena. The Zora had signed up for the tournament for fun and had made it to the finals. His cockyness vanished as he saw his opponent standing on the other side. The demon had just killed his partner and it was a grusome sight. Mitch was appaled and so was his partner

"Well it looks like one of our contestants has killed his partner. Can he win this battle alone?" the announcer announced nervously.

"We have to fight that?" Mitch asked his partner.

OOC: Time for the lesson to start.

BIC: Gorin looked at his opponents, blood dripping from his chin. One opponent seemed to be a ninja, while the other was obviously a zora. "A stealthy wuss and a fish man." snickered Gorin. The dark god turned his spirit orb into a naginata.

"Are you going to attack first, or should I rip off your heads without a fight?" yelled Gorin across the arena. Raid and Mitch prepared themselves for the fight. "And Gorin watches his opponents, trying to decide who to-" The announcer's throat was slashed as Gorin turned his orb into a blade ended whip and slashed it across the announcer's throat.

"Annoyances, annoyances." sighed Gorin.

OOC: A naginata is a double sided sword. Think Darth Maul's weapon, only a sword version.

OoC: Sorry for not having an In Character post but doesn't Cloud_Strife_Clone post next. My only battle was 1 on 1 so I'm not sure.

OOC: In most battles with three or more people, teamates don't have to post in any particular order. In a team on team match though, once everybody on one team has posted, they have to wait for at least one person on the other team to post before posting again.

So basiscly we can post in any order? Meh, either way I'll probably wait for Cloud_Strife_Clone as long as s/he hasn't forgotton.

OoC: Don't wait for me! Go on Cloudrunner fight the demon thingy it'll be good for you!

....Well? It's been five days since the last post, and niether of you have decided who posts next. I don't mean anything by this post, I'm just keeping the thread from dieing before the fighting begins.

OoC: I’m so sorry. I’ve really had to work hard in school to study for some tests.

BiC (Finally. *shuts mouth*): Mitch stared at his opponent as he killed the announcer and grinned while doing it. The young Zora was surprised that anyone could enjoy killing.

“Well, who’s attacking first? The wuss, the fish, or do I have to go ahead and kill you?” Gorin challenged again and chuckled as he turned his spirit orb back into a naginata.

Suddenly Mitch charged forward only to find his blow easily blocked. He struck several more times only to be easily blocked. Suddenly, he was shoved back.

‘Whoa, he’s strong,’ Mitch thought ‘I can’t beat him alone. C’mon do something.’ As he glanced back where Raid was he noticed he was gone. ‘Huh? Where did he go?’

// Thanks Cloud.

"Hey ninja guy! I need help!" Mitch yelled. Gorin laughed "The little ninja wimp ran away scared!" He laughed again. Raid flew out the darkness going for the demon's back. Gorin kicked him away with out even looking "Pathetic fools!" Gorin laughed. Gorin walked over he looked at Raid trying to get up.

He took his weapon and slashed Raid's hood up. Raid had spiky whit hair with dark blue eyes hat nobody was ever allowed to see. That was a huge dishonor. Raid growled. Mitch jumped on Gotin barley getting in a weak punch befor he flew back and onto the wall. He looked back down at Raid who was gone. Raid was helping Mitch up.\

"We need a plan.." Raid said still in pain whispering to Mitch.

OOC: Wow. I can tell that you guys are going to become promising BA particapants. Now, grading time for each persons second in character post.

Cloudrunner: Very good. Most people make their paragraphs a little longer, and add a little more detail, but you did well.

Cloud_Strife_Clone: Very good as well. You had a couple misspellings, but mostly good. You misspelled spikey, white, Gorin, barely, and that. It's probably just typing skills though, as the misspellings are merely missing letters and seemingly accidentally pressing the letter next to the one you meant to press.

You both did really well. Now to continue.

BIC: Mitch nodded. He agreed with Raid on the fact that they needed a plan in order to beat Gorin. The demonic god watched them with maniacal glee. It was very rare that he met anyone who could even survive being attacked by him, especially in the town that the tournament was held in. As Raid and Mitch formulated their plan, Gorin merely decided to practice a move that he had recently used.

Mitch fealt a strange feeling. It was as if somebody was poking around in his very mind. The strange sensation moved around in different areas of Mitch's head, eventually stopping near the back of his mind. As the strange sensation suddenly fizzled down to nothing, he noticed that Gorin was smiling.

"Zora electrical shield. How fun it will be to toy with that ability." said Gorin. The zora looked at Gorin angrily. To call the electrical shield a toy was an insult to every zora that had spent countless days mastering the technique. Before Mitch could say anything back to Gorin however, he realized something.

The thing that had been poking around in his mind had been Gorin. Somehow, the demon had copied the ability straight from Mitch's consciousness.

OOC: Mwahahaha! That was one of Gorin's newest upgrades. He scans the mind of an opponent and chooses one of their abilities. He is able to use that ability as much as he wants for a duration of ten minutes. I thought I'd spice things up a bit by choosing that ability. It's going to be a bit surprising when it wears off though... [sneaky]

"Raid, whatever you do don't rush at him," Mitch said out of the corner of his mouth to his partner. Raid responded with a slight nod.

"Heh, playtime over kids!" Gorin said as he charged at the two warriors.

Mitch leapt out of the way, but Raid simply tried to block Gorin.

"No!" Mitch cried as he realized what the half-demon was going to do.

Suddenly, Gorin halted his charge right infront of Raid and turned on the Zora's Sheild. Large amounts of electricity coursed through the ninja's body as Mitch realized Gorin was strong enough to kill Raid with the sheild

'But I bet his concentration isn't that good,' Mitch thought as he formulated a plan.

He drew one of his swords and hurled it at Gorin's side. The sheild stopped it but it was enough to disrupt the magic flow. Raid slumped to the ground and the sword landed in between the Zora and Gorin. Though it was smoking, the sword was relativly unharmed, a trait of all good Zora swords. Mitch reached for the sword but a blade-ended whip stopped his hand.

Gorin laughed. "Fishy save the little ninja? Well why you save yourself!" He said and his sword thing flew stright at Mitch. Mitch hopped to the side just in time. Raid twiched "I have to get up...I need to fight!" Raid yelled in his mind. Gorin was laughing while he toyed with Mitch. Mitch dodged anoter blow. "Get up ninja!" He yelled jumping away.

Mitch breathed as the sword came stright for him. But Raid jumped on him knocking him down making them miss it. Mitch helped Raid up. "You shock me and you dishonor me?" Raid said looking at his ripped of hood. "I'll kill you." Raid said spitting.

Gorin laughed. "You sound serious! I'd like to see you try ninja boy!" He yelled laughing. Raid hopped far. He hopped over him into the shadows. Gorin looked where Raid landed but he was distracted by Mitch.

Mitch understood the plan.

OOC: Bravo, bravo! You both did really well with those posts.

BIC: Gorin turned his naginata into a curved bladed spear and started to attack Mitch. The zora was having trouble blocking the demonic god's attacks, so he switched over to dodging the attacks. Even though Gorin was quick with the deadly weapon, Mitch was always able to get out of the way of each attack with microseconds to spare.

This continued for a few minutes, when Mitch could suddenly feel Gorin trying to copy the zora shield ability again. Mitch attacked Gorin, ruining the demon's concentration, and attacked with his swords. While the god of wrath was occupied blocking the sudden attack by Mitch, Raid attacked from behind.

The ninja leapt out of the shadows and drove his katana into Gorin's back. The blade went straight through Gorin and came out his chest in a shower of blood. The demon's head slumped down as if he were dead. "Did we win?" whispered Mitch.

"Heh, not even close." replied Gorin. The demon stood up straight and pulled the katana out of his body through his chest. A gaping hole remained where the katana had once been imbedded, which went straight from the middle of his chest to an area of his back. Blood was dribbling out of both ends, and Gorin winced with pain every few seconds.


"Pretty good. Maybe I'll see if one of you wants to join the oblivion forces... If you survive."

Gorin looked at his tired oppents. Raid whispered. "We put a hole through him and its like we barley touched him." Raid said sweating. "Yea and I think he might be done toying with us." Mitch said. "Ok we need a precise and perfect plan one where we can multiple hits." Raid said.

Gorin was proably deciding when to finish up the mortals. Raid nodded to mitch as he stood up tal wiping the beating sweat from his head the white hair messed up. "Ok Mitch charge him i'll do the rest." Raid said. "What are you cra-" He was cut of by a narrow miss of death.

Raid ran of to the side while Mitch charged Gorin. "Not this attack again!" He yelled with stronger force he threw mitch into a wall cracking it. He then caught up with Raid kicking him up and slashing just barley hitting his skin. Skims of blood dropped from Raid's chest as he flew straight into Mitch.

They both stumbled up dirty beaten sweaty and bloody. "Thats just a taste of my wrath." Gorin said laughing.
