Re: I just want to battle random
Sure, I'll use my only character, Jul 'Kaed.
IC: Jul 'Kaed treaded softly on the ground, his Master's voice echoing in his head. His Master had contacted him in the dead of night, urging him to go to his next fight…his opponent had not been revealed yet, but the location had. It was a sandy beach, with waves softly lapping the shoreline, where the scent of salt hung in the air. The peacefulness sickened him. He wished to leave, but he daren’t defy the will of his Master, lest he face a fate worse than death…Jul ‘Kaed looked up. He had arrived. He scanned the place. It was exactly how it had been described, with not a single rock, tree, or any other defensive structure in sight. The wind blew from the East, sending his long, silver hair dancing majestically in the air. Soon, he knew that his hair would be stained red. He looked in the direction that the Easterly breeze was blowing in, and he saw what he knew was his opponent. His figure was shrouded in shadow, but Jul ‘Kaed knew that the lone person was indeed his adversary. Grinning sadistically, Jul ‘Kaed slowly unsheathed his twisted, demonic blade, and met his cold, blue, dead eyes to those of his opponent… |

Re: I just want to battle random
How about you make your own battle.Stop goin around and just telling everyone there so freakin dumb. You ramble on about the faults of everyone else.Just keep your peace to yourself.
ic:Gurata stared at Jul kaed.Eyes narrowing he thought this might be another minion of Lucipher.Gurata spoke out. "Do you or do you not serve lucipher!" There was no response except for the rolling tide of the ocean hitting against the shoreline.Sure he was, Gurata fingered along the hilt of his blade and slowly pulled out his samurai sword.Grasping it with both hands his eyed narrowed, he went into a crouching position and sprang straight towards jul kaed.He went for an attack right for the heart, but jul kaed met his blade with his own.Sparks flew out.And Jul kaed was knocked back the velocity of the attack.Still in the air he dug his feet into the ground. He eventually slowed down before hitting a rock 100 yards away. Jul kaed grinned, and wiped the sand off his clothing. "I see you are skilled with a blade." "I am also." Gurata ran at his opponent with a feirce look on his face.He quickly parried and countered sending Gurata flying into the sand.Jul kaed kicked him in the nose.Blood gushed out.Gurata quickly grabbed his sword and sent Jul flying back with the side of it.He rose to his feet and walked over to jul. "I shall evenge my fathers death!" Gurata clenched his sword and stood in a stance ready to stab Jul in the head. |

Re: I just want to battle random
Be quiet, Link0304. I know you're the RPG mod, but that isn't an excuse to be completely rude to other forum members. It isn't your fight. If it was, then it would be fine. However, seeing as how it isn't, you have no right to bug us about it. I'm perfectly fine with starting, and if you'll read my last post, you'll see that I already have.
OniLin...um, I mean, Ansem...do continue. |

Re: I just want to battle random
OoC: Ahh, I see that you edited that post.
IC: Jul 'Kaed grinned. This was turning into a most memorable fight, and he was certain that the entrails of this next combatant would be just as memorable to view. As Gurata ran straight at Jul ‘Kaed, his blade pointed straight at his skull, Jul ‘Kaed held out his hand, and a sphere of what seemed to be death itself formed in his palm. It seemed to draw the very light out of the air from around him, and the moonlight now did little to illuminate the cove that they battled upon. Listening to his Master’s instructions, he dodged the attack of Gurata with ease, and as he tried to turn for another strike, Jul ‘Kaed released the sphere, sending it reeling towards his opponent like the reaper itself. The orb sent an icy pain throughout Gurata’s body, leaving him frozen and weak. He fell to his knees, grasping his breast, trying to warm himself. Jul ‘Kaed’s grin turned to a smirk, and his smirk to a smile. He chuckled, but his laugh gave no hint of mirth at all. He spoke, his voice cold. “No, little ninja, I do not serve what you call Lucifer. My Master is much greater than the devil you fear so much.” “The Master?” Gurata responded. “I have never heard of such a hellish beast, but I am sure he is equally evil. Such evil must not be allowed in this world. You shall perish, along with your Master!” “We shall see, my little fool. You are ignorant to think you can defy his will. You…me…we are all but pawns in his grand game. What we do in life echoes in eternity, and while you may believe that your will is your own…you are wrong. You shall suffer a fate worse than death itself once I have finished with you.” Upon saying this, Jul ‘Kaed lunged, and his blade clashed with that of his surprised opponent. Steel sang upon the winds, and sparks were shed as tears are at a funeral. However, while Gurata had speed, Jul ‘Kaed had both speed and strength. He soon overpowered his foe, sending him dancing back, his blade up, and his chest heaving. Gurata attacked again, and Jul ‘Kaed managed to dodge his quick series of strikes, and tried to hit his enemy’s exposed side. However, he parried, and sent his sword into Jul ‘Kaed’s chest, clashing off of his breastplate, but still slightly stunning him. Jul ‘Kaed jumped back, murmured a demonic charm, and waited for Gurata to make the next move. |

Re: I just want to battle random
Gurata wondered what he was mumbling. Not taking any chances he stood there with a blank expression, and spoke.
"So you do not serve the beast Lucipher, that is well and good." "But you serve another demonic form, you shall pay!" Fingering his blade he threw it at Jul kaed.It was sent carreening towards his face.Jul kaed dodged, but the blade knicked him and left a bloody streak on the side of his face.Jul kaed fel t the blood seep down from the cut.To Guratas amazement he seemed to enjoy it.Jul kaed smirked and grabbed Guratas samurai sword. He went to snap it over his knees.Flesh and metal collided but something held it back from breaking.Love. "When my father died he put his soul into this blade." "We are both connected with that blade." "Our souls are bound to its fate." "If it ever breaks we will perish like the dew on the morning flower." Jul kaed could care less about this love that held them together. He let out a hrumph and tossed it aside.Clenching his own dashed at Gurata but, Gurata quickly evaded and dashed for his own blade. For he was weak without his sword.Quickly picking it up he stood in a fighting stance awaiting Jul Kaeds reaction. |

Re: I just want to battle random
"Love...'tis a pitiful thing. Love is for the weak. Those that love are but shadows of their true selves. Love is but a shield that the unworthy hide behind. They are afraid to see the truth, and that makes them frail. As are you.”
Jul ‘Kaed ran at Gurata, and when he was a few feet from the warrior, he vaulted up on his sword, using it as a pole, and lept over the confused foe. Jul ‘Kaed landed, and he swiped his blade across, at his enemy’s ankles. He tried to step back, but the blade caught him, and cut deeply into the back of both his legs. He cried out in agony, and crumpled to the ground, cold, relentless pain searing through his legs. He sat there, blood pooling, twitching. Jul ‘Kaed stepped back, and admired his work. He had done well so far. His Master said so. “Your problem is that you are too confident. Love will not save you from death. If you are crushed by a landslide, love will not save you. It will not be there for you. It is sad, really. Only now, you see the truth of this, at the end of the line. Your thread will be cut short, and love will not save you.” He marched up to Gurata, and grabbed him by the hair, pulling his head up. He prepared his blade, raising it to cleave the man’s head from his shoulders. The wind gusted, as if protesting to Jul ‘Kaed, asking him to stop. Jul ‘Kaed smirked. He would not spare the boy’s life. His love would not save him. The blade came down, and time seemed slowed. Jul ‘Kaed counted the inches to Gurata’s neck grow less and less. He could smell the salt, and felt the wind blow through his long, silver hair. The time came. The blade met… “What?!” cried Jul ‘Kaed. “How could…” The spot where his blade hit was glowing blue, shining, sending light all over the desolate beach. The moon was no comparison to this in beauty. His blade could not move further, and it was knocked back by Gurata’s sword, which glowed in the same heavenly blue light that his neck had. He stood, looking strangely at peace, and spoke in a calm, almost sweet voice. “Jul ‘Kaed…you said love could not save me…yet clearly, it has. It is most unfortunate that your knowledge was flawed so, or you would have found a way around it.” Jul ‘Kaed gasped, searching his Master for answers, but he could give none. Gurata approached, his gleaming blade poised, and struck at Jul ‘Kaed. It cleaved his armour and penetrated his flesh, sending him backwards, falling onto his rear. Evermore, Gurata approached, and he struck once again. Jul ‘Kaed avoided him this time, and grinned. He knew what he must do. Jul ‘Kaed rose, and summoned his Master’s guidance. It came quickly, and Jul ‘Kaed spoke in words that were unrecognizable, faster and faster, sharper and sharper, for what seemed like hours. Gurata couldn’t move. The words were so strange, they paralyzed him with fear. The light seemed to disappear…and when it returned, Jul ‘Kaed was anew, his armour repaired, his flesh mended, and his sword…it glowed a deep, dark blue…but unlike Gurata’s, it was a hostile, evil colour. Two titans faced each other, fortified with the powers they believed in. The end of their fight was near, and only the winds provided witness to their clash. |

Re: I just want to battle random
Gurata too was surprised by his new found strength. He clenched the sword and felt new power surge through him.He could feel something that was heavenly. He knew this would bring down his foe.Looking at ul kaed wreathed in darkness, he could only muster a sour look. How could this evil thrive so independently.Jul kaed dashed at Gurata in a mad fury.Gurata simply turned his blade to parry the otherwise weak attack.Jul Kaed stood there bewildered. He thought how could a boy be this strong. He would hold nothing back now.
"I see your love is strong." "Let me show you the true power that conquers all!" Darkness surrounded his blade.A vortex of gray and black engulfed it.He let the energy go to his Gurata.Gurata shot a pale white beam out of his sword. The two energys collided and hung pounding against eachother. The two fighters concentrated on their beams.Gurata gritted his teeth and let an ultra burst out of his blade.Whiteness engulfed the beach, blinding the two opponents. It soon faded away to reveal a furious jul kaed.He lay there on the ground panting. The light had damaged him heavily.A strange feeling of pity fell over Gurata but he soon shook it off.Cocentrating on the task before him he grasped his blade. |

Re: I just want to battle random
Jul ‘Kaed lay on the cold ground, stunned. He had never realized that the power of one’s feelings could be so great, so powerful. So deadly. He slowly got up, and licked blood from a fresh wound. His own blood. It tasted of copper, and left his lips stained red. Gurata seemed unmoved by the act. Jul ‘Kaed got up, and the sound of his Master came screaming forth from the depths of his mind. The Master had not contacted him much during the battle, which was odd. Usually he was there to give Jul ‘Kaed guidance, but he had been absent this time. The voice told Jul ‘Kaed to stop toying with his foe, and finish him off, once and for all.
In a rage, he ran towards his enemy, blade pointed forwards, his knuckles white and his eyes, though they were completely blue, would have been bloodshot were they able to be. The ground moved quickly under his feet as the distance closed, but Gurata stood his ground, looking relaxed. As Jul ‘Kaed approached, he felt something was wrong, but just couldn’t quite put his finger on it. It was almost as if his enemy was…pitying him. The idea horrified Jul ‘Kaed. It caused him to become even more enraged, and he swung his blade… It never met. As it neared his foe, he ducked out of the way with such ease and finesse that it startled Jul ‘Kaed. He looked, but could not find his foe. Hate filling his mind he quickly spun at the sound of a footstep. Jul ‘Kaed was shocked to see Gurata standing there, as if he had not dodged the attack at all. He was still calm, and a slight frown was the only of his features that betrayed any emotion. “What…how…how did you…?” Jul ‘Kaed was speechless. The words struggled to be spoken. He had never, in his centuries of living, seen anything or anyone that fast. “Hmph. You underestimate the power of love. If you could feel such a magnificent thing, I would spare you…but apparently, your mind has already been made up. I wish not to kill you…but I fear it is the only thing I can do to prevent you from harming others. I’m sorry, Jul ‘Kaed, but your existence ends here.” “Grahhh!” Jul ‘Kaed screamed. He could not let this…insect stop him. He mustn’t. Jul ‘Kaed leveled his sword, and took another mighty swing, but like the one before, it simply failed to connect. One minute his foe was there, the next…he was gone, to appear in another place. Again he tried, but his fruitful efforts yielded the same crop. He simply could not hit him. It was impossible. Simply…impossible. The next thing Jul ‘Kaed saw was the cold ground beneath his face. He hadn’t seen the blade coming. It simply…hit him. He had no knowledge of it striking him. He slowly looked up to see his foe standing before him. He was frowning, almost crying. Jul ‘Kaed could not stand this. He must have Gurata’s blood… |

Re: I just want to battle random
ooc:I changed his name to hiro
Hiros head hung low.All he did was just stand there. "You, you were the one." "All this time." "I am so blinded by the evilness in this world." "You are the evilness that has tainted the balance on this earth." He stood there for a few minutes and raised his head. "YOU WILL PAY!" A quick wind began to pick up.Hiro hair waved rapidly in the oncoming storm. Not moving, standing like a statue he stared at Jul Kaed.Eyes narrowing he clenched his sword firmly.Hiros anger seemed to dance in and out of the winds. His blade struck is opponent in the chin, sending him flying out into the ocean.Still skidding along the waters surface, Hiro let a burst of energy roar through him.He could feel new strength like never before. He reared up and and let the energy do its work.He began to run,run like no one else.He could feel time slowly melting away as he reached the ocean shore. He continued running and hit the water, he felt a scence of floating. He ran so fast he could not penetrate the surface of the ocean.Hiro grinned and let out another burst of energy and met jul kaed still flying into the horizon. Hiro took the flat of his blade and struck Jul kaed in the back.Blue energy surrounded Hiros blade preventing it from snapping.Jul kaed flew back to shorleline and hit the sands.Hiro stopped running and just stood on the waters. He was not drowning.Hiro just stood there bewildered. He knew there were other forces in this world other than evil. Jul kaed stood up ,wiping the wet sand off his body. His body was severely wounded. He gave a cackle of pain and fell on his knees. "It will take more than this to defeat me young hiro!" |

Re: I just want to battle random
Jul 'Kaed had been dropped to his knees before. But the pain of this...it was unbearable. His jaw was shattered, his left arm broken, and he had lost the feeling in his legs. It hurt...so much. The pain blinded him, blue light burning his eyes. He screamed in pain and terror, but it did nothing to stop the burning. He searched frantically for his Master's presence. He found it, and used it as a stepping stone in a river. He centered all of his spirit, his being, into that connection. Little by little, the pain subsided, and his vision returned. His body still hurt, and his legs still had no feeling, but at least he could see again. He dropped to the ground in relief.
Hiro was coming, walking elegantly across the waves as if it were a flowered meadow. The winds, which now blew from the North, caused his hair to dance in the breeze, as did Jul 'Kaed's. He approached ever closer, not speaking a word, his blade glowing with the power of love. Jul 'Kaed knew what he must do. He called upon his Master, and began to muster his powers. Hiro glided across the blue ocean, coming closer and closer to his foe. It was a sad sight. He lay on the ground, nearly unmoving. The only way Hiro could tell his enemy was still alive was by the faint twitching he occasionally gave. This...monster. He pitied it with all of his heart. He wished that he could bring him back, but it was too late for that. This one had lost his soul long ago. It pained him, but he would have to kill. He reached the shoreline, and stepped across the smooth sands. The water lapped at his feet, and he could feel the smooth, small stones poking the soles of his bare feet. A hawk soared elegantly on the winds, giving out a shrill cry, before flying off into the distance. Jul 'Kaed still lay there. His energy was spent, and he could not hope to ever win this battle. His reign of terror was finally at an end. Hiro resented killing, but it was the only thing he could do to stop this freak from taking the life of another innocent. Hiro stood next to Jul 'Kaed's limp body, which was still twitching. He grasped his sword with one hand, and reached for Jul 'Kaed. he pulled his head up by his hair. He seemed to be unconcious, as his eyes were closed, and his mouth was hanging open. A single tear was shed by Hiro. It spiraled towards the sands, the new morning light reflecting and refracting on it. It tumbled elegantly towards the ground, and ended with a splash on the ground. Hiro opened his eyes, and sent his blade down towards Jul 'Kaed's exposed neck. As it contacted, Jul 'Kaed released his energy. The world turned dark. The light ceased to be present, it's morning rays gone. The sound of screams ensued. Hellish, frightful, otherworldly screams. The filled the area with so horrible a sound. It seemed to last forever, but it eventually let up, and the light gradually retured. When at last everything was clear, and the light returned, all that was left where the two battlers had been was a smear of red on the sand, and Jul 'Kaed's limp corpse, his head a bit further down the beach, bobbing in the shallows. Jul 'Kaed knew that he would come back. He always did, and always would. And so he began his rebirthing process. |
