Lost in a Gust of Wind (anyone)
OoC: Well Ummm... since my last battle kinda died with my internet connection a while back, I'm going to pretty much consider this my second battle outside of the Dome. The first one you can check here ! It was a mega-fun battle against Garros' character Miro. So read it, it was quite fun!
So umm... yeah. This battle I guess takes place after Piuma left the Dome for some extra training, and shortly after her battle against Miro. I'm looking for an experienced writer to have a fun and creative battle against. Hopefully, both our characters can learn something new from this battle. So... let's go? ---- BiC : As Piuma moved on across the lush and mysterious wilderness of this strange new land, the sky overhead seemed to be predicting an impending rush of rain and high winds. Dark gloomy grey clouds billowed in the sky, being carried forth by the winds. Piuma frowned up at the clouds, and cursed her rotten luck. "Of all the times for it to start raining..." She thought to herself. "...couldn't have happened when I found an Inn or something like that. No, instead it happens right when I'm in the middle of nowhere!" The winds slowly started to pick up around the tiny Rito. They whipped pieces of grass into the air, rocked the trees back and forth, and sent birds sailing for cover in more stable arbors. Piuma wished she was in the Dome, where it was warm, and not really really windy. "I better find someplace to take cover..." Piuma said to herself, now frantically looking around. However, the sky was darkening fast, and she knew how stupid it would be to go near a tree during a potential thunderstorm. In fact, with nowhere to go, little Piuma was an easy target for the powerful winds. The winds whipped back and forth, sending her pale brown hair flying in every direction. Piuma could feel her feet almost lifting off the ground. She heard a snapping sound, and squinted to see a tree branch flying in her direction. Not thinking of the consequences, she opened her wings to block her face from the branch. The torrential winds lifted her from beneath her large red and gold wings, and tore her from the ground, into the stormy sky. She had no control over her destination, as the mighty winds carried her across the sky. Darkness rushed past all around her, until suddenly she saw a tree heading up to meet her! She tried to steer clear, but the wind pushed her smack! into the tree. With the winds still whipping around her, she slumped at the base of the strange tree she had hit. Everything grew fuzzy around her, and the storm raged on. ---- OoC : Nyeh, so there's a decent opening I hope. I hope someone can add to that. |

Re: Lost in a Gust of Wind (anyone)
OOC- Alright, this seems like a good one to join. I wonder how Nicoli will fare against Piuma...
You also might want to put her profile up there for quick refrence. BIC-“Alright... so where is she...” said Nicoli as he trudged through the high green grass. “I wonder why The Dome sent me to train against Piuma of all people, especially after West and Puce...” Nicoli was beginning to struggle against the high winds. As he walked along, pushing against the gusts, he looked back to his boat, which was docked not far from shore. However, there was something he hadn’t expected on the deck of his craft, hanging on for dear life to his mast as feathers flew off into the distance behind it. “Well... well... I hadn’t expected that finding that little Rito would be this easy...” said Nicoli as he turned ‘round into a dash toward his sailboat.

Re: Lost in a Gust of Wind (anyone)
OoC: Piuma's profile is right here! CLICKY! Also Alehandro, I don't mean to be much of a pain, but there's actually a diffrence between the two. For example, the Piuma in the BA is younger than her RPG counterpart. Compare Piuma to say... Link in the Orcarina of Time, and Link in The Wind Waker. Like that. But anyways, I think we can still somehow make the battle work out.
BiC: The surrounding region faded in and out of view, as Piuma tried to gain control of her thoughts. The ground beneath her rocked back and forth, and Piuma wondered when it would stop. Then, she heard the slosh of water and realised that it was a boat she was on. But wait...what was a tree doing on a boat? She looked up, and saw that she had collided with the Mast of a ship of some sort. Using it for support, she pulled herself to her feet. The storm continued to rage on, with the high winds ripping at everything on the seas. Waves rose and fell with loud crashes, and yet, no rain fell from the sky. Piuma leant against the mast, as she noticed someone approaching... |

Re: Lost in a Gust of Wind (anyone)
OOC- I decided not to go right into the battle, and take things at more of an RPG style. (At lest for this post, and maybe the next.)
BIC- “Hey Piuma, You alright?!” asked Nicoli as he approached his swaying craft. The small Rito blinked and stared at the warrior as her brown hair blew randomly in the wind, and slowly replied in a suspicious tone, “Um... how do you know my name?” Nicoli just put on one of his good natured smirks, “Piuma, you’re pullin’ my leg, you know who I am...” “Um... no...” “Ok... that’s weird... We worked together on West and Puce Island remember?” Nicoli said as Piuma began to back away. “Um... I don’t know you mister... You must have me confused with another Rito... So I think I’ll just...” she was cut off. “No, The Dome sent me to find you, Piuma, and placed me exactly where you were tracked...” Nicoli then noticed something odd about Piuma that he didn’t remember about her before, “You’re... even shorter then I remember you.” “Um... why do you know anything about The Dome, and... What?” “You... aren’t supposed to be that short... Wait...” reality hit Nicoli’s head like a ton of bricks, which also seemed a lot like the palm of his hand, “*sigh* The Dome sent me back in time...” Nicoli rolled his eyes, “again...” He adopted a sheepish demeanor, “I am really sorry... You see... I know... or am going to... or will know the older you...” “What?” “Yeah... kinda’ wierd... I guess you’ve been to The Dome right? You seemed surprised when I mentioned it.” “Yes, I go to The Dome.” “You probably know that it’s a scientist’s nightmare right? With the supernatural phenomenon, distorting time and space, etc...” Piuma replied with a, still, slightly bewildered nod. “Well, they sent me to train against you. However, they sent me to train against the you that hasn’t met me yet.” She just stared into blank space as the rain pounded the small boat, beginning to flood it. “Yeah... wierd... I know. Listen, it’s seems that you can’t help me in your current condition, but I need to pull my boat onto shore...”

Re: Lost in a Gust of Wind (anyone)
As Piuma watched Nicoli walk awak so he could bring the boat to shore, Piuma stood there, wondering what the heck had just happened. Some person whom she had never seen before just approached her and said he was from....the future?
"What the heck...?" Piuma asked herself. But the answers would not come to her. As the boat drew closer to the shoreline, the winds started whipping at the seas with even greater force. It was strange though; not a single raindrop had fallen from the skies yet. It was almost as mysterious as this Nicoli person and his story. Nicoli came back from tying the boat up. "There, the boat's tied up." He explained. "Now I just need to pull it onto shore. Piuma nodded. "Okay...well Mister, you said the Dome sent you to look for me....why?" Nicoli raised an eyebrow. "Well... I was supposed to be training against you, but it seems like that's not going to happen since they sent me back in time..." Piuma followed Nicoli as he got off the boat. "What do you mean?" Piuma asked, as Nicoli began tugging the boat on shore. "You aren't saying that because I'm short, are you? Because that wouldn't be very nice." "No no, I didn't mean it that way." Nicoli explained. "It's just, I'm not sure if you've mastered that grappling hook back then...I mean now...like now... arg! I mean later." Piuma frowned. Her brain ached with all this time talk. "So then, what are you gonna do then, Mister? |
