The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: Alright guys, I'm gunna use my new charecters, Taran and Sophia, they're kids, so I suggest you don't kill them unless your evil, heh heh.
BiC: Taran and Sophia walked up the path to the mountain. It seemed like the mountain was shrouded in a blanket of darkness, since the whole mountain was pitch black. "Are you really sure about this?" Sophia asked Taran. "Yes, I am," He said, "We need the rupees." They were trying to get up to the top of the mountain. It was said that a grand treasure was hidden in a dark cave, guarded by beasts. But Taran was a natural at sword-play, so they didn't need to worry. As they walked up the mountain, towards the top, it got darker and darker. "I don't like the look of this place..." said Sophia. "Don't worry," said Taran. But at that moment, there was a loud crashing sound behind them. This made them both jump. But Taran was closer to the edge then Sophia. He fell off, letting out a yell. "Taran!" cried Sophia. But Taran then felt a hand grab his. But it wasn't Sophia's. OoC: The guy who gets Taran would preferably be a good guy, or a guy that has a kind nature to him, but isn't really a guy who works on the good side.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: I'll have a go! I'm using Randum, I think he's in the BA Part 2 in my sig.
BiC: Randum hopped down the mountain. He landed down on the boulder and squatted. Suddenly, he felt the boulder beneath him rumble and start to give way. he leapt off the boulder onto a cliff, just in time to see too kids. One of them had heard the crash of the boulder nearby and had leapt, probably by accident, off the edge of the cliff. Instantly, he leapt down, grasped the edge with one clawed hand, allowing his nails to dig in, swung foot in order to grab the falling child, but missed by a hair breadth! Growling at his luck, he let go off the cliff, and grabbed hold of the boy's clothes with one foot. Suddenly, he noticed an eagle flying past. Without thinking, he sprouted wings and began to flap them as hard as he could, just as they dissapeared, he managed to latch onto the ledge and pull up himself and the boy. ---- "Are you OK?" asked Randum, holding thie kid's shoulders. "Who are you?" asked Sophia, her bow pointing at him, an arrow nocked and ready. "Is that really the best way to treat the saviour of your freind?" asked Randum. Suddenly, she realised the truth of this and her bow drooped slightly. Suddenly, in a fashion not unlike that of an orangutan, he flipped over using his arms and landed directly in front of her, he held himself with his two arms and held one foot out, presumably in greeting, "the name's Randum," he said, grinning.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: Character in sig of course.
BiC: Viraut was wandering the mountain ranges for know particular reason at all, perhaps trying to find himself. It was cold and white and boring, the snow was deep and made a crunch everytime he stepped, and he didn't enjoy the clothes he was forced to wear because of the climate, a very large cloak and hood with mittens and such. Luckily he didn't carry much, just his pouch of miscillaneus weapons and his very large claymore, and some food of course, and a large white sheet which he had recently bought in case he needed to hide in the snow. Everything was quiet, making Viraut uneasy, but it was quite obvious that others were out there. Maye not specifacilly looking for another person to kill but maybe just wandering like he was. "CCCCCCCccrrrrrRRRAAAAAASSSSSHHHHHH" Something made a large sound, and Viraut immediatly went on alert. There were close to no shadows in the area, so Viraut pulled out is sheet and began to investigate, keeping a hand close to his pouch. He moved slowly so he didn't make noise from the snow crunching under his feet, so he climbed up onto a hill and covered himself with the camofluage, just leaving an inch open so he could scout out what was going on. One kid... no wait... two but one is falling... wait... another person?! Hmm, it seems I'm out numbered... They were oblivious to him completely so he decided to take his move now, still keeping the cover, he began to approach them. He could now make them out, a girl, a boy and some sort of creature. Still oblivious to him, Viraut crept closer and closer until just two yards away. They were talking, but Viraut didn't listen since it was an argument of some kind, or was it. Viraut was quite pleased with his stealth skills so far dispite the conditions, but unfortuantly that would end soon. He crept closer and now was so close he could nearly touch them, but then he began coughing. Viraut was trying to keep it silent but it was hard and he was having trouble breathing from some sort of sporadic problem. And to his dismay the straners perked their heads up in is direction. Crap, I need to make a vanishing act quick!... I thought to himself.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
Ooc: I'll join. I'm using Gorin, link in sig.
Bic: Gorin walked up the trail of Black Mountain. He was running out of funds for food. He needed to buy food to feed his army as they fought in the Oblivion War, since he wouldn't be able to catch several thousand tons of food every day. He had heard of a certain treasure on this mountain, and was determined to find it. He noticed that a boy was not far from him on the trail. Gorin had been in his wrath god form, using the flaming second skin to keep warm. He reverted back to his normal form, accidentally causing smoke to flow out. The boy breathed in some of the smoke, and began to cough. It was then that Gorin noticed three others in front of him. The three people looked in the boy and Gorin's direction. The boy seemed as if he were startled that he had been caught. Gorin laughed and walked up to the boy. The three others merely stared at the boy and the strange creature with black wings. Gorin looked again at the boy, and felt a strange feeling. Something about the boy's eyes was familiar, very familiar. Gorin merely shrugged it off as everyone began to question one another about who they were and what they were doing there.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC:I'm using Kika, obivosly in my sig
BiC:Kika looked in the vast canyons spreading through the distance. Why she was there, she never thought of it. She just started to climb the canyon that cam in front of her. why isn't there a magic to teleport places in this book? she thought, cluching to her Advanced Magic book. As she climed, she heard a noise of rocks crumbling in the distance. She wanted to know what it was, she sat on a wide rock ledge and she started to flip through her book. Phoenix flght: for flight, it said. "Phoenix Fight!" Kika cried out. She felt herself shrink in size. She felt lighter. She was a phoenix!! She took flight into the mountains, with a trail of red sparkles marking her path. Thankfully the sparkles fade after 2 seconds. She didn't want to be followed, so she zigzagged over the rocks. She soon saw 4 figures focused into view. A girl and boy, clearly younger than her, a.........thing, a ninja boy, and a thing. Kika let out a caw and flew on the ninja boy, hoping to discover something about him, or even to annoy him. He reminded her of Tuariv for some reason. She wondered about that, how can this........boy remind her of a mutaded lizard?

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: Ugh... he was hiding... oh well.
BiC: Err, damn... I need to think fast... and that thing with wings looks familiar... At such a bad time a pheonix, which was a common thing in the world, flew ontop of his head and begun to peck him lightly. Viraut looked around and became angry at what he had allowed, he thought the newcomer was a scout by the group and noticed him, and a bird was annoying him, but there was no time right now for mindless things right now, he was surrounded. He had to act fast if he wanted to live. He grabbed the bird and pulled it off of him, and in a split second blasted everyone around him with some wind magic, causing everyone to be thrown off balance and fall backwards, Viraut took this chance and covered himself once again with his white sheet sneaked away while the other were getting up. He chose not to go to far, just a few yards, he would keep his eye on this group and see what happens, for now he just blended into the snow.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
Kika was caught by surprise. She was knocked into the ground, hard. She was on the ground, she was angry at that boy. She did a suden lift off and started to scan the ground. He was nowhere in sight. She cawed softly and tryed to land in the snow, but a figure was blocking her, in frustration she pecked the figure very fast.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OOC- I will be using Nicoli (BTW- Nicoli's a "good guy")
BIC-“I despise mountains... or at least this one...” Nicoli said, choking on the thick gritty air, “I wonder if this ordeal is worth the payoff...” As he lept from boulder to boulder down the side of the mountain, searching for a trail, he noticed a bird covered in flame soaring through the sky, “Hunh... that’s no phoenix... The ones I’m used to are much larger than that...” a half-smile appeared on Nicoli’s face, “Heh... heh... there’s competition already...” With that, Nicoli quickened his pace, looking again for the slightest trace of a trail. As he went faster and faster, the joy of adventure filling his heart, his mind left his brain. “I wonder what kind of things I can get with all that...” Nicoli was interrupted by the unforeseen pull of gravity on his body, letting him fall off of the face of the cliff he hadn’t noticed was right in front of him. As the brown rock face of the cliff flew past him, he looked down to notice two children directly below him. “KIDS, WATCH OUT!!! DEAD MAN COMIN’ THROUGH!!!” The two of them had only enough time to look up before Nicoli was hurtling toward them. However, at the last second Nicoli caught hold of a branch and not only saved his own life, but kept the two youngsters from being crushed. Nicoli let go of the tree branch and fell nimbly to the ground, his heart beating at a million miles an hour, he greeted the two, “Hey there *pant* I’m Nicoli. I thought I'd *pant* drop by.” OOC- horrible pun ![]()

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
Ooc: So most of the gang is together again eh? This will be interesting.
Bic: Gorin had watched as Kenjin, Kika, and the boy talked. Gorin immediately remembered who the boy was, as Kenjin made the boy's voice turn into the voice of a little girl. "Yoh, long time no see?" said Gorin. Kika an Kenjin turned towards Gorin. "Who the heck are you?" asked Kika. Gorin noticed that Kenjin seemed to remember him slightly, while Viraut had a blank expression on his face. "It's me Gorin! You know, from the whole water temple escapade?" said Gorin. "Oh, right. Your that guy that started helping us towards the end." said Kenjin. Gorin looked at Viraut. "What the hell happened to you?" he asked. Viraut looked at Gorin with a puzzled expression. "I think I remember you a little. Did we fight or something?" "Fight? No freaking **** we fought. We fought quite a few times actually. I don't quite remember what the score was though." replied Gorin. Kenjin smiled as both Viraut and Kika looked slightly more puzzled. "He fought Tuar- I mean Viraut a few times back before whatever turned him into this kid happened."

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
Damnit, another nuicence, but these people seem familiar... somehow...
Viraut begun to get antsy, he didn't enjoy being surrounded by so many people like this, he assumed that all of the people he'd seen so far were in cahoots, how else could he have been spotted so easily so many times? There must've been something... something he could do to get away to a safe distance before he was killed in what would probably be a bloody fashion. But all he did was stare at this shadowy presence in front of him and give it the stink eye while he thought of all possible escape routes. The black face with white eyes were so familiar, something that he couldn't recognize, and that strange angelic figure behind him too... it was likesomething that he knew that he'd forgotten, but what was it? "Why dear Kika, don't tell me you haven't made contact with our friend yet." The shadow spoke to the young girl behind Viraut and ignorig Gorin. "If it is that you don't recognize him the just look at his sword, but I don't blame you, I was the last one to see him before the lizard came out." Viraut grew impatient, and he estimated that he didn't have much time before the other people that he'd seen early would arrive on the scene as well, the situation was bad... as far as Viraut could see. "I have no time for this!" Viraut yelled at the shadow. He sheathed his claymore and grabbed four shuriken out of his pouch and covered them with wind magic in an instant, then chucked them at the shadow. They merely passed through and the creature seperated for a second, but that was all Viraut needed before he dashed off at blinding speed. Kenjin looked as Viraut dissappeared in seconds, but he knew the teenager would not leave and would be back eventually. As for Kika, she looked into the powder white snow and picked up one of the shuriken Viraut had thrown, she sensed a small amount of magic with the metal, she picked up the others and placed them in a pocket for later to look at or use. "Ahh, it looks like more people are arriving." Kenjin said quite loudly. Four figures began coming into eye sight at running speed, came up to Kika and began asking her questions, the first people were two teenagers, a boy and a girl. "Did you happen to see a ninja pass by here?" The boy asked. "What happened? We heard noise here." The girl inquired at the exact same time. Tuariv could barely see the people anymore through the snow, and a blizzard was coming so that didn't help either. He was trying to remember something about the people but just couldn't get anything into his mind, and he was having trouble breathing again. It was bad this time, and he collapsed in a heap on the snow. A strange sensation scratched at his mind, he was almost there but not quite, those people were people he knew in someway some how, and then he got his answer. Memories flashed in front of his eyes, things he'd done, and people he'd been with and fought, all it was was the answer to a couple things. He fought the shadow creature, whatever it was, he fought the angelic creature, whatever it was, and he had fought with that girl, whoever she was. That was all that could be mustered before he lost consinunceness, and a blizzard set in for an even worse experience.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
Gorin stood as the four other people began to question Kika and Kenjin. Before they could get to him, Gorin turned around and walked down the slope in the direction that Viraut had ran. He knew that the people ment no harm to him, but he had been double crossed before. He was very cautious about who he trusted.
He heard heavy breathing, followed by the sound of a body collapsing in the snow. Gorin went to where the noise had come from, stumbling apon the figure of Viraut. "What happened to you iguana?" thought Gorin. Tuariv had been one of the very few people that Gorin had ever considered a threat. Gorin was still puzzled as to how a bestial lizard creature had been reduced to a mere human child. Gorin picked up Viraut's comatose body, and walked back to the group. He would drop Viraut off with the group of people. Despite the fact that Tuariv had beaten him a few times in battle, Gorin didn't want to waste the oportunity to let Tuariv live to fight again. He had beaten Tuariv a few times too, but still considered him a worthy opponent.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
"Ugg......will the questions ever end?"muttered Kika, before people tacled her with more Q's. Soon Kika grew aggrivated and turned back into a phoenix and flew to a nearby tree. She saw a large figure and cawed loudly. She started to charge at it. Being a phoenix, she threw a fire ball at it. It doged it and looked around. She edged closer and saw a giant winged bird that was 10 times Kika's size. "Crud"thought Kika as she turned to normal.
She fliped through her book, "Phoenix fea-AAAAHHHH!!!!!!". She was grabbed by the birds talons and was flown away, not before dropping her Staff, Advance and Beggining magic books, and everything else in her pocket.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
"I'll deal with that, you all stay here," Kenjin muttered, motioning for the others to step away. Rearing a fist, he hand punched the air, stretching like rubber towards the bird."
Kika was intensly annoyed at her current predicement, trapped in the talons of the giant bird, when suddenly, the bird's head jarred back as a shadowed hand made contact with its beak. It released her, and fell towards the earth. But so was Kika. She plummeted towards the earth, just as Kenjin reappeared to grab her in his arms. "Your night in dark armor, m'lady," he murmmured in her ear. "Release me," she protested, and Kenjin complied, sending her face first into the snow. "As you wish."

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: Hey! Don't forget about Randum!
BiC: Randum, who had clearly been ignored up until this point, saw Kika falling and began to use his special ability, Imitate. Instantly, he vanished and appeared, similar to Kenjin, grabbed the falling Kika and then landed on his feet. "I hope you aren't going to do that often," said Randum, looking up at Kenjin. "I'll do it whenever I want," said Kenjin, clearly peeved. "Can you let go of me now?" Suddenly remembering, Randum set Kika down, who left to go and pick up the bits she had dropped. "Well, I can tell you're a trouble maker," said Kenjin. "Oh no, I put the fires out," said Randum, "I don't start them." He the leapt up into a tree and sat on a branch, as relaxed as a cat. OoC: Sorry, but that's a lot of posts to read...

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: Mmm, cereal in the afternoon...
BiC: Damnit, they found me... I knew it... they killed me didn't they?... Ugh, my head hurts a lot... Viraut clasped his head, realizing that he was in fact still alive, and still on the mountain from the extreme cold. Unfortuantly he was welcomed by a most unwelcome presence. "Well well, look whos up. Rise and shine buttercup." A nasty voice croaked. "Uuuugh, leave me alone..." Viraut was sitting up and opened his eyes to see the black shadowy-ness that was an enemy he didn't quite know. "Aww, don't tell me you don't remember the good times times we had?" It said in a sarcastic tone. "Why don't you just kill me?" "Because where wouthe fun be in that, Tuariv. Anyway, we saved your butt so you owe me." "We?" Viraut looked around and finally noticed the people standing around, two teenagers, a young woman with a staff, and two odd creatures. They were in a cave and the wind was howling outside along with the darkness and snow, an obvious blizzard was going on out there. Viraut reached for his pouch but didn't find it, "Looking for this?" Kenjin said, holding up Virauts bag. "You bas-" "Now now, watch your language in front of the little kids." "We're not kids." The boy and the girl said, standing up. "Actually," the angelic creature said, "you are, along with the little ninja we have here." Viraut looked up at him, but that wasn't how he felt, he didn't feel like a kid, he felt drained inside. Kenjin held out his bag and he immediatly grabbed it away, and after double checking, confirmed Kenjin didn't take anything. "Missing anything else?" Kenjin asked, sounding like he was quite pleased with what he'd taken. Viraut checked once again for what he was missing and realized Kenjin had taken a very precious possesion from him, his claymore. "Give back... now." "Or what?" Kenjin inquired, just floating around. "Or I'll kill you." "Lesson number one, Tuariv, you can't kill me. Maybe you'll remember that now." Kenjin pulled the very long sword out of his shadowy mist and handed it over.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: Quick question Scoria, why are calling Kenjin an angelic creature?
BiC: Viraut took the sword back from the shadow master before he could have second thoughts. "There has to be a way," he muttered to himself, but Kenjin heard. "We've been down that road Lizard-Boy, you can't, so deal with it." Kenjin's attention had shifted towards the small children, who were being watched by an orangatan-like person. "Hello young ones," he cackled evily, wanting to gauge a reaction. "Stay away, shadow," the monkey answered. "Stay away baboon," Kenjin countered, happy to see he'd got what he wanted. "What are we doing he-" he stopped, for Kenjin had begun to play with his voice again. "Stop that!" he shouted in a high pitch. "No, I don't think I will," the Master of Darkness replied, "but I would like to know what's going on." OoC: Does anyone else find it strange that gamer2000 has only posted once?

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OoC: I was speaking of Gorin, sorry.
BiC: Although Viraut had been "asleep" for a while, he still felt tired and decided to sit in a corner of the cave whilst the other discussed matters that didn't concern him, as far as he could tell... he was a captive. But that would most definatly change, when the opportunity struck, he was resourcful and Viraut would use that skill to the best of his ability to get out of this messed he had so easily walked straight into. For now he merely reached into his bag and pulled out a scroll and writing untensil and begun practicing his skills with a spell he had heard of before traveling around on the mountain, he new he would not be able to get it for a long time though. All the while that this was happening, the two teenagers told them what the "plan" was... OoC: I'd say to let gamer2000 post next, and yes, it is strange.

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
OOC- Actually, my post is in direct relation to his characters, so I think it's ok.
BIC-“So, what’s your name kid?” Nicoli asked the young swordsman garbed in brown. “My name’s Taran.” Nicoli leaned up against the rock wall, “So, are you a Hylian or an Elf?” noticing their pointed ears, as were his own. The boy donned a confused look to his face, “I’m Hylian... what’s an ‘Elf’?” Nicoli smiled, “Never mind, most Hylians don’t know about Elves... So, who’s you girlfriend?” Taran blushed, but the blonde haired girl replied, “My name’s Sophia” Nicoli began to walk away, “Well it’s nice meet...” he stopped in his tracks and wheeled ‘round. “Wait... what are two kids like you doing out here?” Both of them replied in unison, “We’re looking for treasure.” Nicoli just stared blankly at them, “You’re what?” “We said, we’re looking for treasure.” Nicoli slapped his forehead, dumbfounded at what he just heard repeated, “But... you’re... kids... little kids...” Taran stepped forward, “Yeah! So what?” Nicoli shook his head, “First off, when you’re looking for treasure, never actually say that you are when you’re asked what you’re doing. Especially when the person asking you is carrying a weapon.” as he said this, Nicoli patted his four-foot sheath. “Secondly,” Nicoli turned to Taran, “All you have is a short sword and a small wooden shield,” he then turned to Sophia, “... and you don’t even have that much, just a bow and a few arrows.” The two responded to the criticism in unison, “But we’re both really good, and...” the black clad warrior cut them off. “Look at those people over there!” he motioned for the two to look at the rest of the group just a few hundred feet away, “They are professionals. Not only will they defeat you, but they will rout you.” Tarin put his arm on Sophia, and started to walk away. Nicoli ran after them, “Besides, why are you even here to get treasure? Are you ‘run-aways’ or something?” Tarin wheeled ‘round, and drew his blade, “My parents were murdered...” Nicoli froze-up, as memories of Kokodin flodded his mind, “Oh... I see... You know... you can sheathe that sword anytime...” Tarin put back his blade and started to walk-off once more. “The wounds heal Tarin...” Tarin stopped this go-‘round, “What did you say?” “I lost my little sister, my Mom, my Dad, and all of my friends when I was twelve... It takes a few years...” Train began to walk back to Nicoli, “...but you eventually get to the point where you can have a conversation about it without breaking down.” “Thanks...” “No problem Tarin... You know, In a way... I can see myself in you...” Nicoli took a look up the mountain and smiled, “Would you like an escort to the treasure?”

Re: The Treasure of the Black Mountain(Preferably about six people)
Gorin stood, watching as Nicoli and the children talked. He sighed. "Such problems. Two kids, a monkey, another person, and three faces I didn't think I'd see again." Nicoli seemed to have said something that either angered or saddened the boy. Nicoli and the boy started talking again, and Gorin interupted them. "What are you doing here anyways?" he asked.
Nicoli opened his mouth to answer, but was cut off by Taran. "We're here to get the treasure of the mountain!" he said excitedly. Gorin laughed. "Whats so funny?!" yelled Sophia. She was answered by a spear thrust. She ducked down and the spear stabbed over her. Nicoli tackled Gorin. "What are you doing!" shouted Nicoli. Gorin pushed Nicoli off of him, and brushed himself off. "I was just testing to see if they could handle the things that protect the treasure." he replied. Gorin turned back to the children, finding Taran's blade at his throat. "Get that butter knife away from me." said Gorin. "You tried to kill her!" replied Taran. Gorin smirked. "Your not too bright, are you kid?" Gorin didn't give him a chance to answer. He kicked the sword out of Taran's hand, and caught it by the handle. Gorin handed Taran's sword back to him. "Don't do that again." he said. Taran nodded and went back over to Sophia's side. Gorin smiled to himself, and walked back into the cave.
