At the waterfall, in the forest, under the cliffside... (Anyone)

Ooc: Using Ford and Mia in sig.

Bic:

"This looks like a good spot." Ford told Mia, pointing at a small lake with a little beautiful waterfall falling into it. Their horses trodded over to the spot and they dismounted their horses.

Mia said some elvish words to the horses and they walked off to get something to eat. "Hey Ford, wana go for a swim before we settle for the night? We did buy those swimming suit and trunks."

Ford looked up from a peculiar stick he had picked up, "Um... sure, that sounds great." Ford smiled, dropping the stick.

Ford and Mia turned their backs from each other and got changed into their outfits.

"How do I look?" Mia asked from behind him.

Ford durned around to look at her in her two piece. He had to keep his jaw from dropping to the floor. He mentally slapped himself in the face and streightened up. "You look ok." He said acting as if he didn't care.

"Oh." Mia said, "You look wonderful." She walked off the the lake and jumped in.

This time Ford phisically slapped himself in the face. "I'm such an idiot." He heard the snap of a twig. He spun around. Nothing. "Probubly a squirel." He said as he jumped in after Mia. Maybe an awfully big squirel.

OoC: Hey, Quark, remember me? Anyway, I'll use Gary, link in sig.

BiC: Gary hid in the trees. He was looking for a battle, and these people looked like they had fighting skills. He accidently stepped on a twig. Stupid twig... He thought to himself. "Probably a squirrel." He heard the boy mutter, then he jumped into the lake with a splash. Gary sprouted his wings, flying up a little. The boy looked straight at him, but didn't see him. Only the glow of his wings.

"Who's there?" The boy asked. Gary sighed, floating back down to the ground. "I'm Gary." He said, stepping out of the trees. "Who are you?" he asked them. "I'm Mia, and that's Ford." Mia answered. "And my horse's name is Gary..." Ford said. "Well, I was searching for a battle--" He was cut off by Ford. "A battle? Sure."

Ooc: hey. Um, my characters just introduced themselfs to a total stranger? Oh well.

"A battle? Sure!" Ford exclamed in a sarcastic tone, beginning to tred water, "What do you really want? No one walks around saying they're searching for a battle. Unless you are mentally unstable." Ford had to keep himself from laughing at his own insult.

Gary frowned, he could sense this boy was a good young man, but there was a most evil feeling about him. The girl he could sense was completely good, he noticed by her slightly pointed ears that she was part elf. "I am not mentally unsound." Gary said in a serious tone.

"Then why are you looking for a fight?" Ford asked him, staring at his wings.

"You didn't let me finish." Gary grumbled, his voice echoing, "I was looking to battle any evil creatures that may be around here. I am an arch angel created to bring peace back to this world."

Mia smiled, herself now treding water, "That's great! A real arch angel, wow! I heard stories about you from some of the eldest elves before..." She stopped and a look of sadness showed on her face, "Never mind." She swam to land and crawled out with Ford following close behind.

"There isn't any evil here so please, just leave." Ford growled at him.

"There is evil everywhere." Gary said.

Ford laughed, "Of course there is Gary. Heh, Gary. That's the name of my horse."

"Are you insulting me?" Gary interrogated.

"Possibly." Ford smirked and continued to follow Mia.

OoC: Sorry.

BiC:

Gary looked at Ford. Hmmm... He thought, I sense something... Evil about him... "There is a strange aura sourrounding you...." Said Gary. "What kind of aura?" asked Ford. "A... dark aura." said Gary. "Riiiiight..." said Ford. "I mean it." said Gary. "Well, if it's so evil, then why don't you fight me?" asked Ford, smiling. "Because," Gary said, "Your aura is mixed with good, too."

OoC: Sorry for really short post, writers block. And by the way, why did you stop posting on the Proving Grounds? You don't have to go back and post, since we've pretty much counted you out...

Ooc: Mesa forgot about the proving grounds... oh well.

Bic:

"Yeah, this whole aurora thing is all... facinating. But Mia and I should get going." Ford told the angel and walked to his horse, the Arc angel followed. There was something about this boy he needed to know about.

"Who was your father?" Gary asked Ford.

"Look, I told you to leave." Ford explained.

"I need to know." Gary pleaded.

"He was a blacksmith. He was murdered along with my mother when I was very young." His mind trailed off.

"Who killed them?" Interrogated Gary.

"Will you stop with the questions? I'm done talking with you." Ford begged.

"Ford, just talk with him. It's not every day you meet an arc angel." Mia spoke up.

Ford nodded and turned his attention back to Gary, "I don't know who killed them... I don't...." the hint of a tear forming in Ford's eyes was visible. He looked down at the ground to hide it, then looked back up at the angel. "I loved my parents." Ford looked back down at the ground. "I vow, that some day, when I find that (censored) that killed my parents, I will have my revenge." For a split second, Gary thought Ford's eyes turned red, but they were now back to normal.

"Don't take revenge, Ford. It may cost you your life." Gary closed his eyes for a second, turned his face toward the heavens and smiled. "Your parents are fine Ford, don't worrie about them. They're in a better place now."

"You mean heaven?" Ford chuckled, "I've given up on that ancient belief. They're dead, and they're not coming back."

OoC: Lol, Gary's parents are fine? I don't really have anything to write... Writers block again!

Ooc: LOL!!! Total accident. I was really tired when I wrote this, please tell me if you notice anything else that says Gary did something that was supposed to be Ford doing it. When you edit the post above with the next part I will edit this post so this won't be spam.

OoC: Sorry, sorry, sorry...

BiC: Gary walked up to the boy. "What do you mean, Heaven doesn't exist? I come from there, you know. If it didn't exist, I wouldn't either." he told Ford. "How do I know you are from Heaven? You might as well be from hell." Gary was hurt by this comment. "Ford..." said Mia to Ford.

OoC: Sorry, I have bad writers block. What do you think they should fight about, though? Or maybe they fight monsters?

Ford sighed, "Look, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to offend you. I don't know why, but i'm not in a good mood today. I just have this feeling that today isn't going to be a good one."

As if on que, a loud earpiercing roar erupted through the sky as a dragon flew overhead.

Ooc: Ditto about the writers block thing.

OoC: Why do we keep getting writer's block?

BiC: Gary jumped in front of Ford and Mia as soon as he heard the roar. He readied his sword for battle. "Don't worry, it's probably from a different pla--" started Ford, but was interrupted by Gary. "No. It's close by. I just know it." There was another air piercing roar as the sky grew dark. 'Let's see if your as good as that other boy who's a pheonix right now...' a voice rung through Gary's head.

A shadow appeared in the clouds that were flying in. It was in the shape of a winged beast. Out of the clouds appeared a black dragon.

OoC: I have to go.

It swooped down and started a fiery furnace within its bowles. A rumbling could be heard, then felt, until a large explosion of fire and smoke erupted from the creature's mouth like an active volcano. The flame darted toward Mia, she closed her eyes. She could almost see the gates of heaven now, but nothing happened. She opened her eyes to see that Ford had jumped in front of her. He was on fire, burning from the dragon's attack, but he didn't seem to be in any sort of pain.

"You'll have to do better than that." Ford challenged the dragon.

Gary flew at the beast while Mia snatched up her bow and arrows from their pile of clothes, prepairing an arrow. Ford stayed where he was, but grabbed his sword and shield from the ground for better offence and defence. Ford and Mia were still in their swimming outfits so their defence was quite limited.
