The nameless battle of no return... *devilish laugh* (Anyone)

Ooc: Using my newest characters, Ford and Mia in sig. You may use one or two characters for this, dosn't matter.

Bic:

"Faster Nellie, fast!" Mia shouted to her horse as she galloped with Ford following close behind her.

"Ok Gary, keep up with Nellie." Ford commanded his horse. They were running after a bounty that was posted a few days earlier. The name was not posted, but all that was known was that he was an insane killer.

But suddenly Nellie stoped causing Gary to colide with the other horse. Ford was sent flying off his horse and into the ground. He slowly got up, he was covered in mud. Ford's ears turned red with embarisment, but thankfully they were hidden by a dripping mess of dirt and mud.

Mia giggled silently, "Watch where you're going." she smirked.

"Watch where I'm going?" Ford repeted, "Your horse stopped dead in its tracks!" He laughed hitting some mud off his cloths.

"Yeah but..." She stopped for she heard a noise.

"What is it?" Ford asked.

"We're being watched." Mia whispered.

Ooc: Hi, how's it going. Hanzo's bio's in my sig.

bic: Hanzo peered at the strange duo from the long grass. He wasn't impressed. They seemed to be young, mre children to his eyes. Under different circumstances he would have probably left them go, but he was in great need of funding. He stared at them longer, deciding to kill the boy but let the girl live if possible.
As he studied them he realized that the girl was aware of something. Did she know he was there? If she did, Hanzo wasn't about to give her the opportunity to act. He leapt from the grass, unsheathed Tetra Steel and charged at the boy.
The boy's reactions were quicker than expected. He had his sword at the ready by the time Hanzo made it to them and their blades clashed. Hanzo could feel the weakness behind his opponent's grip. With little effort, he managed to push the boy backwards onto his backside. He readied a killing blow, but was forced to switfly evade an arrow that zipped past his head. The girl had retreated to the distance and was taking aim with her bow. Hanzo ignored her and turned his attention back to the boy, who was on his feet once again.
"I am Ford!" the boy shouted, no hint of fear in his voice "You'll regret that!"
Hanzo tilted his head back, dodging another of the girl's arrows.
"We'll see, boy..." he muttered.
He dashed forward and their blades clanged together again. The battle had begun...

"Why are you fighting us?" Mia yelled as she fired another arrow at the man that hit him in the ponytail.

Hanzo, not to happy about what happened to his ponytail, ignored her question and continued his duel with Ford. "She asked you a question." Ford told him as their swords clanged again. Managing to hit Hanzo's sword out of the way, he had just enough time to slash the samurai across the chest. Ford smiled, but was surprised that the sword didn't penetrate his armor. "What the--" Ford was cut off by a slash from Hanzo that he just barily ducked.

Answering their questions, Hanzo smiled and spoke with a simple shake of his head, "Money." Ford lept at the new apponant swinging his sword toward the old man's head. In order to dodge this, Hanzo dropped onto his back. The man looked up to see Ford's sword coming his way. Hanzo rolled to his right, just barily avoiding the sword. Ending his roll, Hanzo lept to his feet only to see Ford running at him again. The kids are so violent these days. No matter, he will die soon enough. Hanzo thought to himself as he parried another slash.

Mia got closer on her horse to take a closer shot at Hanzo, hopfully she wouldn't have to kill him.

Hanzo was impressed with Ford's skills, it was taking longer than expected to kill him. He parried a blow that would have sliced his jugular and sent the sole of his foot canoning into Ford's chest. The young swordsman collapsed onto his back, losing his grip on his sword. Hanzo stood over him and readied Tetra Steel.
"No!" Mia screamed, galloping furiously swords the samurai.
She stringed an arrow and let it fly. Once again, Hanzo evaded it but it prevented him from finishing off the downed Ford. Mia galloped past, turned her body and fired another arrow, which was blocked with ease by Hanzo.
"This is getting annoying..." he muttered.
Suddenly, Ford was on his feet again, sword in hand. He leapt at Hanzo with his blade speared out in front of him. Hanzo absentmindedly side stepped the attack, and crunched the hilt of his sword into the back of Ford's head. With a soft moan, the boy fell to the ground unconcsious. With him out of the way, Hanzo turned his attention to the girl, who was now on her way back with her bow held forward. She fired three times...and missed three times. Hanzo sprang into the air and sent his knee rocketing into her face. Her nose exploded with blood and she tumbled down off the horse. Hanzo landed neatly and turned to face his two downed opponents...

"It's a shame to ruin such a beautiful face." Hanzo muttered with a sinister smile.

Mia squeeled in pain and grasped a hold of her nose with both her hands, blood gushing through her fingers. She closed her eyes and muttered something in elvish. Hanzo couldn't believe what he saw, her nose was perfect now, no sign of damage. Mia had performed an elven healing spell, although the injury was gone, the pain remained. She wiggled her nose then shook the pain from her face. "You hit a girl?" she scolded puting her hands on her hips.

"I did, didn't I?" Hanzo smirked.

"Well I have one thing to say to you mister!" Mia shook her finger at the man.

At that moment, Hanzo felt a sharp blow in the back of his head. He flew foward to the ground in severe pain. Ford stood in his place holding his shield out from hitting the man over the back of the head.

"Look out behind you." Mia smirked in the man's face.

"You'll pay for that runt!" Hanzo screemed gripping the back of his head.

ooc: I think I'll end it.

bic: Hanzo was on the ground. His two opponents just stared down at him. That was their chance and they missed it. With intense speed Hanzo sprang up. Ford attempted to cut him, but his attack was quickly evaded and before he knew what had happend Hanzo had a grip on him from behind, the poison blade at his neck. Mia froze, not daring to move.
"You've impressed me," Hanzo said, tightening his grip on Ford, "I didn't expect someone so young to be such a match. You're a good team."
Mia dared not say anything, she barely even moved.
"With time," Hanzo continued, "you could both be great warriors. I'll give you time to learn perhaps..."
Hanzo dug his hand into Ford's pocket, scooping out a bag of coins.
"This will come in handy. Tell me...what are your names?"
Mia hesitated. "I'm Mia...he's Ford."
"Mia and Ford...perhaps we'll meet again. If you want revenge, track me down. I suggest you train first, though..."
"What makes you think you're getting away?" Ford asked, his voice filled with rage.
Hanzo smiled. "Till next we meet."
With little effort, he hurled the boy forward. He crashed into a startled Mia and their heads collided, knocking them both out. Hanzo stared down at them. For some reason, he kind of liked them. He opened the stolen bag and poured half of its contents on the ground beside them.
Then, with a smile, he turned around and walked away into the distance.

ooc: If you ever want Hanzo to meet Ford and Mia again in battle, just set up the thread.

oc: That was.... short.... oh well, good ending!

Bic:

Ford awoke first, the first thing he saw when he woke was the precous face of Mia. He noticed though that he was lying on top of her, he rolled off and examined her. She seemed like she was alright. Reaching out his hand he touched her face. "We'll get our money back."

She awoke with a start, he quickly pulled his arm back. Mia quickly sat up. "He got away?"

Ford nodded. Mia swore, "Well, I guess we should go see if there's a price on that guys head first, then we'll track him down." Mia decided. They both set off for the town again, kind of sad that they lost a lot of their money. Ford didn't care though, he was just happy Mia was ok.
