The never ending hedge maze(Anyone)

Ooc: This'll be interesting, only up to 4 other people(join in whenever) can join. I changed my mind about only letting people I havn't or havn't in a long time fight, anyone can fight now. (Please no flying people, that would be cheating) Our characters might get along, maybe they wont. We'll just find out how we will get out of this maze, at each other's side, or at each other's throat. I'm using my newest Character, Jarek.(Link in signature)

Bic:

Jarek had been wandering a forest when he found a bizzar red colored bush. He looked under it and could faintly see a small glimmer of light. He crawled under the bush to see what it was. Crawling and crawling, he got stuck only twice on two branches, but he finally made it to the object that caught his eye. It was only a small green rupee. He slipped it into his pocket anyway and he stood up to strech. But when he stood up he found that he was surounded by tall, cleanly cut red bushes that surounded him in all but one direction. He looked frantically around for the red bush he crawled under, but he couldn't see which point he came from.

He grabbed ahold of a hedge to his right and climbed to the top, but just as his head was about to peer over, his head hit some sort of energy field that knocked him to the ground. "No getting out that way." He said to himself.

The sky was starting to turn bright as the sun rose. Right now he knew that the evil Kegan was hiding in fear from the sun, one of his only weaknesses.

His eyes wandered down at the ground and they fell upon a set of foot prints. He carefully folowed them, hoping they may lead out. They led around a corner. He aproached the corner and was about to turn it, but he heard a voice. Someone else was there and it sounded lost as well.

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Ooc: Ooh...battle! ^_^ Here she is (though I doubt you'll need it) http://www.zeldauniverse.net/forums/...ad.php?t=21273 NayNay! ^_^

Bic:

"Is someone there?" the voice said, almost quivering. He heard running footsteps, and stepped back. A figure appeared, but it was dark around the corner so he couldn't make out the details.

Something glinted, and thinking it was a sword, he drew his broadsword.

"Wait! Wait! I don't want to hurt you!" It put its hands up to show there were no weapons in its arms. He noticed the voice belonged to a {girl}. He relaxed his weapon slightly, but only slightly when he realized she had one too.

"Who are you?" Jarek asked.

"I'm sorry, it's just I got lost in here. That's me, too curious. But I don't know where to go. But I think there's something in there," she said, pointing.

Instead of looking where she pointed, he looked at her. She had black hair reaching to her middle back, black eyes, and pointy ears. He noticed that nearly everything about her was black.

He noticed her forehead, too. A black stone was embedded into her forehead, shining in the light when she moved. That was what had been glinting, not a sword!

"Hey...um, did you look?"

"Oh, right." he looked, but could only see darkness.

"By the way, my name is Nayorin. What's yours?" Nayorin waited for an answer.

"Nayorin, eh? I'm called Jarek." He looked back to her. She noticed his mesmerizing, green eyes. She also noticed all the spikes in his hair, and decided that they would probably be some sort of weapon if he poked anyone with them. Jokingly.

"Really? Cool! I like that name. Jarek. It fits. The word reminds me of green. And your eyes are green, I noticed. I hope you don't mind I noticed. But anyway, it fits. I don't know why it reminds me of green, though. Must be some internal brain thing. I never really understood why things remind me of colors. I remind myself of blue, but do I look blue? Anyway, People don't usually tell me their name on the first try. People are so untrustworthy! Man. Thank you. Like I said, I'm curious."

"Uh, yeah." She talks too much!

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Jarek just stood there listening, not wanting to interupt. She was a bit annoying, but at the same time sweet nad funny. Jarek listened and had to hold back from laughing at how long a girl could talk about how some names remind her of colors. Finally he had to intrude, "This is a wonderfull conversation, but we realy need to start finding our way out of the maze before it gets dark."

"Oh, right! I forgot." Nayorin said remembering. "Lets try this pathway."

They walked down the maze's pathway that she indecated to. It kept going for a while until it reached a fork in the road. There were three pathways to choose from now; right, left, or streight down the center.

"Uh oh. Where do we go now?" Nayorin asked.

Jarek pulled out an arrow from his quiver and stabbed it into the ground. "Try one way, then come back and try the other way." He smiled looking down at the girl. She was at least two or three years younger than himself. They continued their trek, wondering down the path on the far right. Nayorin started talking about various diferent things as they walked. Occasionally Jarek would respond. They reached several forks along the path and at each one Jarek would place another arrow. Once they reached a dead end and had to walk back to the fork and try the other way.

"I wonder if there are any strange creatures along this path?" Asked Nayorin.

"I doubt it, unless they are as unfortunate as us." Jarek said, not noticing the distance roar of some wolfos in the distance.

Nayorin shivered, "It's getting dark and cold out."

"You're right, we should set up camp. I can't believe we have been trapped in this maze for a full day." He snapped some twigs of a bush and began to try and make a fire.

"I'll help." Nayorin began plucking the branches from the bushes. Jarek found two small smooth stones. He struck them over the pile of sticks several times before they made a spark. Now they had a fire.

"Now all we need is food." Nayorin grumbled.

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

"I'm so hungry!" she whined.

"Maybe some of these bushes have berries or something on them."

"I checked already. They don't."

"All of them?"

"Well, there were really on three types of bushes I noticed in here. The long needled type," she pointed to the branches they has used for firewood, "the short needled type." She walked around the area, finding one and bringing a branch back for him to see. He tossed it in the fire after looking at it. "And the leavey type." she couldn't find that one without leaving his sight.

"Are you sure that's all of them?"

"No." She sat down, leaning against a bush and holding her stomach. "But my poor horse. Fairy Princess must be hungry too."

(Meanwhile, Fairy is having the time of her life eating delicious grass out in a beautiful feild, winnying and enjoying the company of pegasuses and unicorns and beautiful stallions which keep winking at her. She sighs, thinking, "this is the life. I wish NayNay were here...")

"You have a horse?" He sat down a few feet from her, close to the fire.

"Yeah, she's a purebred black Arabian. Hmm..." she said with a sigh.

After a moment of silence, she began to giggle.

"What's so funny?"

"I just remembered this one time I met this strange guy. He was huge and weird looking. He didn't like me. I asked his name and he told me it was something weird. Then I found out it was something different later. Then he cut his arm off! And I was all, 'eew!' and he was all, 'I'll do it again!' and it was yucky to have all the {blood} everywhere. Hmm, whatever."

"OK..."

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

"Well, I guess we should sleep. I'll take the 1st watch." Jarek said as he stood to his feet stretching his arms out.

"Alright, nigh night." Nayorin said as she layed down. It wasn't long before she fell to sleep. Jarek couldn't help but laugh because she even talked in her sleep.

Suddenly, a thought accered to Jarek. Actually, he didn't know why he didn't think of it before. Unsheathing his sword, he walked down a little ways from Nayorin so he wouldn't wake her up, but he made sure she didn't leave his sights. He lifted his sword in the air and hacked down at one of the bushes. It seemed like a good plan, but his sword hit an energy field, similar to the one he hit his head on, somewhere in the middle of the bush. His sword bounced off it and the blade imbeded itself deep into his left leg. The pain was excruciating. He bit his lip to keep from screeming his brains out, but it was no use. "AUUUGGGHHH!!!" He screemed falling onto his back, clawing at his leg. "YOOOOUUUCCHH!" He yelled again. He grabbed ahold of the hilt and as fast as possible pulled the sword from his leg. He let out another screem in pain. Blood pooled to the ground in a sticky mess.

He searched his mind quickly for the magic within his head. He had only tried this spell once and it didn't do much, but he said it anyway once he had contact with his power, "Cura!" His wound closed up only slightly which didn't do much. He heard footsteps coming his way, it was Nayorin, she heard him screem and came to see what was wrong. He grabbed the ninja mask conceiling his face and he tightly tied it around his bloody wound.

Nayorin gasped when she saw all the blood, "Are you ok!?" She said as she touched the cloth covering his wound.

Jarek squinted even to the smallest delicate touch of her fingers, "I'm fine." He took a deep breath as he tried to hold back the shouts of pain. "Just a stupid... mistake."

"It could be worse." Nayorin said trying to calm him down. Just as she finished talking a loud roar shook the air.

"It's worse." Jarek smirked. (Stolen line. lol)

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Ooc: lmao stolen line. lol. Just kidding. Um, wow. I have to say that this is cool. Someone who actually (i think) likes and respects NayNay...lmaorotf funny! lololol. Sorry, I just had the strangest urge to talk like that. I'm a quadlingual. ^_^

Bic:

"Oh, gosh, what is that?" Nayorin said, standing. She drew her sword, her sensitive Hylian ears listening for another sound. She drew her sword, one he realized had a black hilt and a thin silver blade. "Stay here, I'll be right back."

"Wait! I'm...coming too..." He struggled to get up, but couldn't. He grabbed onto a bush and pulled himself up, favoring his leg and

"Please, you're hurt, and I don't want it to worsen. I'll be right back." She turned and winked. "I can do it myself." She started to walk away. "Sit down, you're only draining your energy," she said as she walked away.

He limped two very painful steps, before he had to give in. He sat down, gritting his teeth and hoping the pain would go away.

"Better. I'll be right back." I wish I hadn't left all my things on fairy...then we would have some food, water, and bandages.

Nayorin turned a corner, leaving the safety of their camp. It was extremely dark, and she couldn't see too far ahead of her. Afraid, she decided she needed light.

"Fury..." she said quietly, a small ball forming in her hand. It wouldn't fire until she said "blast," so she used it as her light source. It illuminated a path of a few feet ahead of her, but beyond that was darkness.

She jumped as she heard the sound again, but it seemed considerably closer. Her heart started beating faster and she turned around, holding out her hand, but she saw nothing. She shakily turned back the other way. She started walking quicker.

"Um...well, it doesn't seem to be close, so...maybe I'll go back..." She turned around and ran. thankfully, she had only taken one turn in her short walk, so she knew where camp was. She thought she knew where camp was.

Ooc: I'm not sure where I wanted to go with that. Hmm. whatever. Up to whoever's next to decide. rotflmaolol funny! Muah!

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

She was lost, before she got more lost she stood still and was about to yell out, but she stopped in fear that whatever the thing was it might hear her. She looked around carefully. I'll try that way. she thought.

Just as she was about to head that direction, she heard a yell from Jarek. "Nayorin!" She followed the sound and luckily she chose the right paths. She was shocked for before her was a pack of wolfos with 2 stalfos in the mix. She looked down at the orb in her hand and pointed it foward. "BLAST!" The ball exploded from her hand and pierced directly through two wolfos and a stalfos, killing the three. Jarek limped back to Nayorin as they both attempted to escape.

Jarek's leg wasn't getting any better and the beasts didn't seem to morn for the dead because they were soon on their tale. "Run Nayorin, run! I'll fight them off." Jarek pleaded.

"Oh no you're not. Your leg isn't healed." Nayorin protested.

"Just go!" Jarek yelled again, fearing for her safety.

"I'm not leaving you behing to get eaten!" She pulled at his arm but he broke free and advanced toward the slobbering wolfos and the towering stalfos. He unsheather his sword that was already stained with his own blood, but he stabbed it into the ground and pulled out his bow and two arrows instead. He strung the two arrows and prepaired to fire them when the beasts came into view. "Leave Nayorin! I will catch up."

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

"But..." She frowned, but turned away and ran. She had no idea where she was running. She just ran.

Meanwhile, Jarek was battling the Wolfos and Stalfos. Because he was injured, he couldn't move too much and so was forced to only use his bow. He shot an arrow, aiming for a Wolfos running toward him. It was not expecting it, so didn’t block and fell on the floor.

Another came, obviously not learning from the temporarily fallen Wolfos and also getting hit. He laughed at their stupidity. Although this way of fighting them would be slow, if they continued like this, it would be extremely easy.

There were around ten Wolfos left in the pack, and he shot each one down as they came close. When they recovered, they would come back, but he just shot them again.

He had {killed} two by now, but others still ran at them with arrows sticking out of their backs or something. He shot at the one closest to him. But, to his surprise, it put its claws up and blocked. He made a surprised sound, as it continued to run toward him.

He shot it repeatedly, but couldn't hit it. It was near him, and he couldn't move quickly. Plus the stalfos was near, too.

"Yah!!" Nayorin yelled, jumping, spinning, and kicking the wolfos on its head as it was going to attack Jarek. It flew a few feet back, whining. "OK, Jarek, don't ever tell me to go again." She drew her sword. "Let's do this." (I think that's a stolen line, too. Lol.)

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Jarek smiled, "Thanks." He dropped his bow and arrows to the ground and pulled out his sword. He raised the weapon in the air and stabbed the wolfos Nayorin kicked. It let out a shrill yelp before going silently limp.

Nayorin had jumped into the fray attempting to kill off as many wolfos as possible. she managed to gore about three killing only one until the until now forgotton stalfos delivered a powerfull blow to the girl with the flat side of his sword, sending her tumbling down one of the pathways.

Jarek noticed what happened. "You hit a girl? That's not very gentle." he wagged a finger at the large beast.

Of course the tall skeletal being didn't understand a word Jarek had said and moved in to kill the boy.

Quickly pointing his sword at the Stalfos he searched his mind for the magical connection. "Blaze!" he shouted. From the tip of his blade a bright flash of fire soared into the stalfos' chest, knocking him to pieces. His arms legs and various other bones stabbed into many of the wolfos. There was only one wolfos left, it looked up at the toung man and stared at him for a few seconds, then running like heck the hairy beast fled.

Clutching his leg he fell to his knees. "no," he told himself. "get up." he forced himself to stand to his wobbling feet. "Nayorin!?" He called out. He started toward the pathway she tumbled down, unaware that the stalfos was silently puting itself together.

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

OoC: Mind if I join? Soledad is in the sig.

Once again he had been travelling abroad. He left the last town with plenty of supplies and a good rest. Now it had been around a week and Soledad was getting tired of the road and starting to run low on supplies. He was walking through a forest when he came to a lake. As he surveyed the land, he saw a red bush sticking out from the rest. As he went to investigate it, he heard sounds of battle. He rushed under the bush, running toward the sound. He had been waiting for a battle for a while.

As he followed the sounds he heard wolfos falling dead. "Whoever this is, they're pretty good." He wanted to get to the battle faster, so he decided to chop through these annoying hedges everywhere. It was like a maze. He was the mouse and the battle was his cheese. He drew his sword and attacked the hedge in front of him. Some type of forcefield stopped it before it touched the bush and flung it back out at him. He dodged it quickly and thought to himself "This makes things a little more interesting. Magical mazes and random battles. What a day this is going to be."

Finally after going around turn after turn he started to find some bodies lying on the ground. No humans yet, but the battle had died down. "I was too late." He came to a walking pace and continued on. As he was walking he saw some bones moving around in some kind of formation. "This just keeps getting stranger by the minute." As the bones began to come together as a Stalfos Soledad knew what was happening. His sword was out in a flash and he was cutting the skeletal beast down. When he was done he hacked the bones to pieces. He looked up and saw a trail of blood. He followed it and came behind someone yelling out a name. "Wait!" Soledad shouted" "Who are you?"

Ooc: Sure, you can join.

Bic:

Jarek turned around and eyed the stranger. "Thank the creator!" He shouted. "Do you have any medical supplies? My leg is wounded and I'm afraid my companion is wounded as well." Jarek begged the stranger.

Soledad stared down at Jarek's leg, "Ooh, that looks bad." He said examining it more closely.

"It hurts like heck, but don't worry about me. There's a young 16 year old girl named Nayorin around here somewhere. I'm afraid that she might be hurt."

"Well, I don't know much about medics, but I will help you search for your companion." Soledad replied as they began to walk down the path, all the while they yelled for Nayorin.

A faint voice came from around a red corner. "Jarek?"

"Nayorin!" He shouted as he rain, ignoring the throbbing wound in his leg. They turned the corner and there she was.

Ooc: Sure, just leave me with the hard part, why don't you! lol. Well, I guess it's my turn...<.<

Bic:

"Jarek..." She looked up. "Ouch."

"Nayorin!" Jarek kneeled next to her as she painfully sat up.

"I'm fine! Sorta." She smiled, but it was pathetic because dripped down her cheek. "I just sorta went flying and...ow...hit a bush and scratched myself up. No biggie."

"Big biggie." (Ooh...sorry. That sounded weird. Sorry.) He concentrated, then said, "Cura!"

The large cut on her face turned into a scab in a second, the bleeding stopping. "Thank...you."
She winced as she shifted positions.

"Are you OK?"

"just...bruises. Nothing big. I think..."

"You think?"

"Why does that matter? Look! We have a new friend! Hi, what's your name?" She smiled.

"Huh? Me?" Soledad asked.

"Ugh. See, Jarek? people don't usually tell me their name on the first try. They don't like me."

"Nayorin, why are you caring about that right now? You're hurt."

"No...I'm...not..." She was about to stand, but a sharp pain in her wrist as she pushed herself up stopped her. She breathed in sharply, trying to hide it, but they had seen. She hid her wrist behind her back. "It's nothing," she said as they gave her questioning looks. She smiled a sweet smile, completely baffling the two boys.

Ooc: Yah, it's sucky. Sorry, but I didn't know what to do! ^_^

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Soledad silently watched the reunion, wondering how long they had been travelling together. They seemed to care about each other quite a bit. The girl, Nayorin, was trying to be tough. "If you're hurt, then just rest. Getting up and acting like it's nothing certainly won't help it. Lay down, we'll fix you up a bit." Soledad knew he wouldn't last in this maze alone, and these two seemed like good enough allies for now.

"I'll go find some firewood and we'll set up camp.....again." With that Jarek went out to find something to light.

"What happened here and how bad is that wound?" Soledad asked.

"We were attacked by some Wolfos and Stalfos. And it's nothing. I can handle it just fine. I'm not helpless you know" Nayorin said with some attitude.

"I'm just trying to help. I'll just patch you up and leave you be then." After Soledad was finished with the wounds, Jarek had the fire going and they all sat near it. He was thinking of how they could get out of here, if there was even an exit. For all he knew, this maze could go on forever, luring its victims in and never letting them out. He shuddered at the thought. Suddenly he was interrupted.

"I never got your name" Nayorin asked sweetly.

"Soledad" he replied roughly.

"Well that's.....different. Haven't heard anything like that. How did you get in here? Where are you from? What do you do?" she continued to bombard him with questions.

"I've been wondering too" Jarek added. "Tell us about yourself."

"I'm not the talkative type, I'm sorry." Soledad replied.

"Just a little about yourself, and then we'll leave you alone. I promise." Nayorin pleaded.

Well, it was just a few questions, it certainly couldn't hurt. "I've been on the road for a long time now. I don't have a real home anymore, I abandonded that a while back. Now I'm an assasin. I heard you fighting the Wolfos and I rushed in to help you. I guess I'm just as stuck as you are now."

"Well, it's getting late. I'll take the first watch. I'll wake you up when it's your turn Soledad." Jarek commanded. "Looks like I'm a subordinate now" Soledad thought to himself. "Oh well, it won't be too bad." He and Nayorin sprawled across the grass and fell instantly asleep. They were all exhausted by the day's events.

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Jarek sat back a leaned against a bush, keeping a close eye on Soledad. He said he was an assasin. Assasins can rarely be trusted.

Jarek's mind wandered off for a bit. He knew that Kegan's real name wasn't Kegan, but he just didn't know what it was. He thought since Kegan was said to be so powerful, that maybe he would be able to hear his name spoken. "Where are you?" Jarek whispered to himself. He would ask the others about him in the morning.

After about two hours, Jarek woke Soledad up to switch shifts. Jarek layed down, but didn't sleep for a while. He had to keep a close eye on this stranger. After a while, he finally dozed off, but one of his eyes remained open even in his sleep, watching.

The next morning, Jarek's eye was red from keeping it open all night. He was relieved to see that they were all alive and well. Jarek decided to talk to the others about Kegan.

"So." Jarek began as his stomach screamed for food, he ignored to but continued what he was saying, "Have any of you heard of a man named Kegan?"

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

ooc: ooh, I do! Um...never mind...

Bic:

"No.." Nayorin said, thinking. Didn't sound like anything or anyone she knew. But she did know one thing for sure. His name reminded her of black...

Bad sign. "On a random note, however, his name reeks of black and darkness which is bad."

"I already know he's bad," Jarek said. Soledad was quiet.

"OK, then. I can give you no more information. Are you sure it's a guy? Maybe a lady?"

"No! It's a man!"

"HE'S a man...OK then never mind."

"Why, were you going to say something if he was a {girl?}"

"No, I was just thinking."

"Nayorin, you're good with names, right?" He wasn't completely sure if he could trust her with this information, but she seemed to be on his side. Maybe it was Soledad he was worried about. He glanced at him, but he only seemed to be faintly listening. His dark, brown eyes were half closed.

"Nayorin," he whispered, leaning in close to her. "I know that that name, Kegan, isn't his real name."

"What is it, then?"

"That's the part I don't know."

"What do you want me to do about it?"

"I don't know...what name does Kegan remind you of?" He knew he was getting off topic. It was more important to find him than to know his evil, dark name.

"Hmm...well, honestly can't tell ya if he's a guy. But if he was a she, then I'd say her name was something like Serianus Amin Morette." (ooc: I'm sorry, I couldn't resist! *laughs hysterically at her own joke*)

"That doesn't sound right."

"Yeah, I didn't think so."

"Hey Soledad." JArek turned his head toward him. "Have you heard of him? Seen him?"

"No," was his short answer.

"Great, thanks dude."

"I think we should go. I'm hungry." Nayorin stood up, stretching. "Anyone up for Fillet of Bush?"

LOL!!!! I kept laughing when I read this.

Bic:

They all searched together, in fear of seperation, for a bush that may produce berries. After a long time of searching, they finally found a single bush that produced berries.

"Odd." Soledad stated.

"Very." Jarek agreed.

"What is it?" Nayorin asked.

"This is the only bush in this area that produces berries." Jarek explained.

"Huh?" Soledad asked, "Oh, you're right. I just said odd because I've never seen red bushes like these before I got trapped in this maze."

"They are quite diferent, but lets start foraging." Jarek ordered. They all began pulling out as many beries as possible. Finally, each of them had enough for two mouthfulls. Each of their hunger was satisfied, but Jarek and Nayorin haddn't drinken anything for two days and Soledad haddn't for a while either. They needed water, and fast.

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Those red bushes...so odd...there had to be something about them. But that wasn't the problem at hand. They needed water. Who knows if there even was any water in this place. But they had found the berries, so maybe they could get something to drink.

"Not another crossroads. Ok, now where are we going to go?" Nayorin asked.

"Follow the left wall" Soledad spouted suddenly.

"What? Why?" Jarek asked.

"Don't you know? You can find the end of a maze if you follow the left wall. Might find a few...or more dead ends, but we'll get out." Soledad replied

"Oh yeah! I remember that old trick!" Nayorin exclaimed.

The girl was nice, but Soledad wasn't used to it. Hospitality wasn't his strong point. Hopefully he could stand it until he got out. She wasn't bad or anything, he actually liked travelling with her. She kept things interesting. But Jarek was a little too commanding. Nothing to kill over...yet. No. What was he thinking? He couldn't just off one of his party.

"Is that what I think it is?" Nayorin asked in a strange tone.

"Is what what you think...is that bush spouting water?" Jarek seemed amazed too.

"Red bush" was all Soledad said.

"Do you not get excited at anything?" Nayorin asked.

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Ooc:I'm sorry! *bows* I'm sorry! *bows* I'm sorry! I've been busy and I'm SOOO sorry! *sniffle*

Bic:

"Who cares, it's water!" Jarek said, running forward and sticking his face in the cool stream of fresh, crisp water.

"Yay!" She ran forward, cupping her hands underneath it and sipping mouthfuls of the chilly water. "Soledad! get your backside over here! You must be extremely thirsty!" She beckoned for him to come, and slowly he did. he found his own spout away from the other two's, hesitantly taking a sip. He didn't frink much before he decided he was done.

Nayorin put her head under it, freezing water casscading over her dark hair, and glistening when it came in contact with her stone.

"Oo..." she said, putting her hand over it to stop the ray of light it put out, "embarrassing."

Jarek laughed as she pulled her head out from underneath it and squeezed her hair out. She smoothed it and finger-combed it. Soledad watched with quiet eyes and a blank expression.

Nayorin said, "How are we going to carry this away from here? We can't stay in here forever, but I don't have anything to carry it with. I left everything. I only have my sword."

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

OoC: No matter, we've all been pretty busy I'm sure. Well, here's my edited post. Plenty of arguing still, though.

BiC:

"You're right Nayorin" Jarked said. "I didn't bring any containers either. What about you Soledad?"

"Nothing" Soledad said.

"Can't you at least try to help for once?" Jarek asked, getting annoyed.

"Can't you try to be useful?" Soledad retorted.

"Come on you guys, let's be friends. We're gonna need each other if we're gonna get out you know." Nayorin interjected, breaking up the squabble.

"So I guess I can refrain from killing you until then" Soledad said solemnly.

"...That was a joke right?" Nayorin said with some apprehension in her voice.

"Of course it is" Soledad said, after a period of silence.

"Don't worry about it Nayorin. He won't be killing anyone. He certainly wouldn't be able to take on either of us" Jarek insulted.

"Alright guys, let's just think of a way to carry this water. Then we can worry about killing each other once we get out" Nayorin said, tired of the arguing. These boys just wouldn't get along. It was a shame, too. They could easily be great friends.

"Isn't it strange how we get what we need when we need it? And it's always a red bush..." Soledad said more to himself than the others.

"Who cares just as long as we're getting what we need" Jarek said shortly. "Now let's get to carrying this water."

Re: The never ending hedge maze(Someone I havn't fought before or in a while)

Jarek scratched his chin, staring at the clear flow of life giving water. "Well, I could take off my mask and use it to carry some, but I don't know if that'll help much."

"We could use our shoes." Nayorin giggled.

Jarek laughed, "Or our sheaths and quivers."

"Can't you two be serius?" Soledad argued.

Jarek spoke, "Not unless you have any bright ideas."

"Bright!" Nayorin said.

"Again with randomness!" Soledad shouted, waving his hands in the air.

"No, didn't we pass a big rock back there? I could use my fury blast to form it in the shape of a bowl. and Jarek's mask could cover the top so it won't spill."

"Yeah, but it will be too heavy." Soledad sighed.

"Not if I cut it close enough." Nayorin explained.

"It's worth a shot, lets go." Jarek suggested and they back tracked to the rock. "Do your thing."

Nayorin spoke the words, "Fury Blast!" And the rock was now transformed into a good sized bowl. "Told you it would work." She smiled, examining her handywork.

Jarek walked up to it to test its weight. "It's really light, lets go back and stock up on water." They followed their footprints back to the bush that produced water.

Meanwhile, far away in an old dark forest. "Hmm, there is a strong power coming from the one called Jarek. I don't know who the other two are, but I can tell their brains will be most appetizing." a dark voice hissed, it echoed in the large chmber of the tower. "Goblin!" The voice shouted again.

"Yes master Sirius." It bowed before the beast.

"Prepair your troops, they are nearing the end of the maze. If they survive, bring them to me... alive." The one called Sirius commanded. "If they survive." He repeated.

"Yes master." The goblin nodded understandingly and left to complete this task.

Ooc: Plot twist.
