Conflict in the Travellers Haven...my first battle! (Anyone)

ooc: This is my first battle.

bic: The rain was beating down heavily on the roof of the old cabin and the sound of intense thunder could be heard outside. From the look of the cabin's interior, it seemed that the house was once used, but the occupants had long gone. Now, the building stood only as a haven for passing travellers.
Hanzo sat alone. There were no chairs so he was huddled down in the corner, gripping Tetra Steel tightly. He was anxious for a battle. It was a long time since his last encounter. Also, he was running low on funds and food was getting scarce. He was hoping, praying even, for another traveller to join him in the cabin. He thirsted for battle.
Luckily, his prayer was answered.
The sound of running footsteps could be heard outside. Hanzo's lip curled into a smile and he slowly got to his feet. The stranger's footsteps were getting closer. This was the moment Hanzo was waiting for.
"Finally," he said aloud, "Hopefully, this will be a challenge."
The footsteps were at the front door. The door burst open, rain gushing in. Hanzo stepped forward and faced his hapless opposition.

Ooc: I'll use Harges. Link in sig.
Bic: Harges stepped out of the freezing rain and into the cabin. He made a small muscle on his back turn into a snake and close the door. "What are you doing here?" said a very anxious Hanzo.
"Well my good man, I would like to get out of the rain as it is cold." replied Harges in a dry raspy voice. Hanzo looked at Harges and thought for a moment, "How did he make that snake come out and close the door?"

Harges turned and noticed that Hanzo had been holding a sword in his hand this whole time.
Before Harges had a chance to move he was cut down by Hanzo.
"That wasn't a challenge." thought Hanzo.
He turned around and went to grab something to clean the mess up with when he heard a voice.
"I may be old but I think I know when someone's gonna die." said Harges.
He had healed from his wound and stood cracking his fingers.

Hanzo turned around and charged...

Ooc: Sorry, it took me a while to respond...

Bic: Hanzo swung his blade furiously at his opponent, aiming for another killing blow. The demon was quick though and before Hanzo had time to take in what had happened Tetra Steel was clasped in between a serpent's jaw. Harges grinned malicoulsly, his arm now taking the form of a fierce snake. Hanzo had no choice but to relinquish his grip on his sword as he narrowly evaded an axe aimed for his neck. He leapt backwards, colliding roughly with the wall of the cabin. He was shocked by his advirsary's power and stared at him with a kind of awe. Harges stared back, his right arm now taking the form of a double-sided axe and his left arm of a serpent holding Tetra Steel in its mouth.
"I have your weapon, human..." Harges rasped, still grinning.
"A minor set back," Hanzo replied, his voice devoid of fear.
Hanzo wasn't afraid. Instead, he was excited. He hadn't had a battle like this in a long time.
It seemed that Harges was about to speak again, but Hanzo didn't give him the opportunity. He rushed at him, nimbly dodging another swipe of an axe, and tackled the surprised Harges out the door. The demon's hands regained their original form and Tetra Steel fell hardly onto the ground. Hanzo scooped it up and held it out in victory. Harges scrambled to his feet and stood to face Hanzo, clearly infuriated. The two warriors stood proud with the rain beating down on them. The battle had just begun...

Harges watched Hanzo's movement through the rain.
He knew that Hanzo was eager for a fight and would gladly accept.
Hanzo charged at Harges with his katana held high. Harges stepped out of the way and began to chant. Hanzo kept on attacking Harges but with each attack Harges dodged.

Harges finished his chant and Hanzo could tell that it wasn't good.
A dark mist filled the arena as Harges laughed like a maniac.
"This spell is one of my favorites. It makes it so that my oponent's worst fear comes true!" shouted Harges. Hanzo swore under his breath.

Ooc: Would have made it longer but I don't know what Hanzo is afraid of.

The dark mist grew thicker, until Hanzo's sight was impared completely. He let out a furious roar and swung his blade wildly out in front of him.
"Enough tricks, you bastard!"
Just as he spoke, the mist deteriorated instantly. He smiled triumpantly, thinking that somehow he was reponsible for the mist's disappearance. His smile quickly retorted into an expression of horror as he peered across at Harges. The demon was no longer standing in front of him. Instead, he faced an person that he had not seen in a long time.
"Ryo?" he gasped in confusion.
His brother spoke no words. Without warning he dashed forward, his katana lunged out. Hanzo's instincts reacted and Tetra Steel automatically flashed forward, parried the impending attack and delivered a killing blow across his brother's neck. Blood spurted from the sliced jugular and Ryo slumped to the ground. Hanzo yelled out in horror, dropped his sword and held the body of his brother in his hands. He cried for the first time in many years, for he had just killed the only person that was important to him.
"Ryo!" he sobbed, "Why...? I don't understand! Why did you come?"
Hanzo froze and was jolted with a sudden stab of common sense. Ryo had sworn off the life of a warrior years ago. What's more, how could he be here? He lived miles away.
As soon as Hanzo came to this conclussion Ryo's body disappeared. Hanzo grabbed Tetra Steel and rolled backwards, narrowly avoiding the slash of an axe. He jumped to his feet and faced Harges once again. The demon laughed.
"So...you're greatest fear is the death of your brother. How touching..."
Hanzo was shakeing with fury. "An hallucination! You'll pay for that, beast. For that trick, I'll make sure your death is very slow."
Harges didn't reply, he just smiled and gritted his teeth. Hanzo focused the energy inside of him and suddenly Tetra Steel exploded into a bright red flame.
"Behold my magic, beast!" Hanzo screamed in rage.
Harges was impressed. The blade of Hanzo's sword was now alight, and the flame wasn't even affected by the lashing rain.
Hanzo didn't give Harges much time to think. He leapt forward and lunged his blade of fire towards Harges's gut. The attack was blocked though, as a sword suddenly errupted out of Harges's stomach. The blades collided. There was a burst of flame as Tetra Steel collided with the steel and for a split second Harges's sight was impaired. Hanzo used this moment and sliced his flame across the demon's face. Harges leapt backwards, avoiding a blow that would have sliced his head in two. The attack had still connected though and Harges's face was showered in crimson blood.
"Damn you, human!" Harges roared.
He sprinted towards Hanzo at a surprising speed. Hanzo held the fiery Tetra Steel out, ready for the attack.

Harges ran at Hanzo as fast as he could.
Hanzo was ready to block but was surprised when Harges jumped.
While in midair, Harges cast the power of oblivon spell.
His muscles grew as he began to pulse with power.

Harges turned his arms into swords and brought them down hard on Hanzo's blade.
The attack was so fierce and strong that Hanzo temporarily lost his grip on his sword.
Harges used that to his advantage and kicked the flat end of the blade.
Hanzo dropped his sword and recieved a kick to the face that sent him sprawling on the ground.

Harges turned one of his sword hands back into a regular hand and grabbed Hanzo's sword.
As Hanzo stood and wiped the blood off of his face he saw that Harges was about to throw the Tetra Steel at him. Harges threw the blade so that the blade end would stab into Hanzo.

Hanzo didn't move but surprised Harges when he caught the sword by grabbing the flat side of the blade with both hands. Hanzo held his sword the way he normally would and attacked Harges.

As the blade neared Harges's chest, the flame extinguished and instead erupted into a wave of electicity. Harges had no time to react; there was nothing he could do. The torrential rain acted as a conducter and as Hanzo cast lightning into his sword the entire area exploded with a pulse of electricy. The force ran through Harges's body and threw him backwards onto the ground. He was down, and it seemed to Hanzo that he wasn't about to get up again.
He was wrong.
It was clear that the shock had injured Harges, but he still managed to rise to his feet. He forced his charred face into a smile and started to stagger towards Hanzo.
"It...will....take more than that.....human!"
Hanzo disengaged Tetra Steel's lightning and decided to use another spell. The blade became tinted green.
"Demon," Hanzo spoke, cockiness evident in his voice, "I must say, you are indeed a worthy opponent...but this is it for you. My blade now carries a fatal poison. One cut and you're dead."
Harges snorted. "You make it sound so easy."
Without anther word of conversation, the two combatants rushed at each other...

Ooc: Time to end this.
Bic:Harges made several veins in his chest turn into snakes as he charged at Hanzo. Hanzo ran at Harges with his sword held high. Hanzo thought that he would land the first blow in what was obviousely going to be the final round of combat as the warriors neared.

Much to Hanzo's surprise however, Harges used the snakes to propel himself high in the air by using them to push up off the ground. Harges flipped over Hanzo and landed on the other side of him.
Hanzo turned and stabbed Harges. Hanzo felt a brief moment of shining victory that is however, until a spike came out of Harges and stabbed him through the chest.

Hanzo looked at Harges as the demon smiled, "Poison doesn't work on me boy, I'm immortal."
Hanzo fell to the ground as Harges spike left his body. Harges turned and left the battle field, he knew that he would soon be in incredible pain as the poison began to eat away at his flesh. He knew that he wouldn't die because he was immortal and he had regenerative powers, he was just going to rest until it wore off.

Hanzo woke up several hours later in a bed. He looked around and was about to shout out asking how he got there when a woman came in. "I see your awake." said the woman, "We found you wounded in the rain, we took you in here to rest as we used our healing magic on you."
Hanzo sat after that and wondered who had really won the fight. Was it him? Or was it the demon?

Ooc: I just thought that the last post was a good indication that it was one of Hanzo's last stands.
I made it so it was a tie. If you didn't want it to end like that then you can PM me and have me edit it.
