A New Power Unleashed (Duel)

Junai vs. ????

Summary: Want to test out my new Attack Magic a bit more so I need a guinea pi--I mean I need to battle against someone.^_^

Need to know what they are, check out page 3 of the "Character List" thread. That's where Junai's profile lies. And please, someone whose had some experience in the BA.

Once an opponent arrives, a proper introduction will be made. Unless that person decides upon making the introduction themselves.

ooc: I'll fight ya. You're really good and I need as much training as posiible for the tournament. I believe you've already seen his bio correct?

ic: Mirren walked into the area. He was wearing his great battle armor given to him by the Sages, and had a fierce look in his hazel eyes. Junai instantly noticed him, and was a bit surprised to see the boy.

"A kid?" he asked himself. Mirren advanced over to him, and stood before him. He looked up at Junai, and looked seruious.

"You wish for a challenge?" he asked, "........then you have one in me......"

ooc: You can take the first move, right now I don't have time for a long intro post.

OoC: Well, thanks for the compliment there Mirren. I'm never really into making the first move, but I always respect the wishes of the opponent.

IC: Junai recognized the desolate town he was in...it was the same town that Sugo had first devestated. The predessessor before him had turned the hopeful town into nothing but rubble now. Everything lay to waste on the humble surface. He glanced above Mirren, noticing the items of children lay strewn all in one place.

What a shame...

Mirren spoke up.
"Are you just going to stare in space, or are you going to make your move?"
Junai smirked and let out a quick chuckle.
"Of course, where are my manners." He brushed the side of his shoulder then brought his right hand over to his Ifrit Gauntlet and adjusted it slightly. He then lowered his head slightly to look at the boy in front of him.
"You must be a very courageous one to be wanting a challenge from me. I honor you in that."
"I've heard enough about you to be confident in my winnings."
"I think that's what they call...overconfidence."

Junai glared at the young man. Mirren was prepared for an attack. It seemed too easy for him. He decided to waste it. Moving his hand, he caught Mirren in The Rise of Darkness. He really was never into stooping this low in the beginning, but it was advantage he wanted to take. He watched as the young one tried to struggle, seeing that, he knew this would be interesting. Junai started to flex his muscles for a minute, and without warning, the back of his armor shattered in two places and now revealed wings. Exhaling fairly deeply, he looked at Mirren.
"Thanks for this opportunity. Hopefully you won't give me this chance again."
The flame around his hand then dissipated once he bent his fingers, letting go of Mirren, and sending him flying quickly into the sky.

Junai flew next to Mirren as he was hurled higher and higher, then took his chance and shot up farther. Junai stopped a few meters above his body, and at the moment he came in a good position, drove the gauntlet into head.

Mirren spun wildly as he shot down to the ground like a bullet. Faster and faster until he met with the surface, forcing the ground in and creating a rather large crater. As the smoked cleared, Junai came speeding in for a hit and connected with Mirren's stomach, pushing him down even farther. Junai jumped back, and pulled himself out of the crater, looking at the boy now laying in the hole he had provided.

Mirren had shed the first blood. Coughing up a little while he was trying to regain himself...Junai was pleased once more.

GO MIRREN! YOU CAN DO IT!

ooc: Uhhhhh....I'm welcome? And realy quick Tenkawa, Mirren would never say "I've heard enough about you to be confident in my winnings." He's not the kind of kid who gets cocky or arrogant much.

ic: Mirren lay groaning in pain. His body throbbed from the many devastating blows, and his wounds bled. His armor was damaged on in several places, and his felt like it had been smashed with boulders. Junai began advancing over to the downed Mirren, and the boy simply lay there riving in pain. Junai got closer and closer, and a smirk grew on his face. He balled up his fists, and was ready to jump down into the crater and asassault Mirren even more. But suddenly the boy leapt out of huge hole, and flew at Junai. He tried to do a jumping slash, but Junai jumped backwards at evaded it. He then screamed in fury, and went to punch the boy with both fists. Mirren lifted up his blade through, and the second his fists slammed into the Goddesses' Sword, he felt a burning sensation surge through his hands, and he instantly pulled them back as he felt the burning pain. He gritted his teeth in pain, and looked at Mirren.

"What kind of sword is that!?" he questioned. Mirren looked serious, and pulled out ared crystal.

"While I rejuvenated down in the crater, I also used the Fire Diamond to heat up the blade on the Goddesses' Sword greatly. Now even once little touch of it like when I blocked you fists with it, and you'll get a terrible burning pain......" he answered. In a flash then, Mirren lunged at Junai, and did a kick into his chest. Junai's mouth dropped as he made a choking-like noise from the pain, and blood spat out from his mouth. Mirren then did a uppercut with the Goddesses' Sword, and the plantinum-like blade connected with Junia's chin. He tyelled out in pain, and was sent flying up high. He began to come down, and Mirren stood right below him, and held up the Goddesses' Sword in the air. Junai began to plummet down, and he fell through the air. But just before he was about to hit the ground, his back landed right on the tip of Mirren's blade, and it dug in deeply. He roared in agony, and Mirren struggled to stand up. He nearly collasped once Junia fell, and he quickly tossed him away. Junia landed on the ground hard, and rived in agony as his great wounds bled, and as Mirren glared at him fiercly.

OoC: Geez...gotta remember to place the aura before I fight.

IC: Junai gritted his teeth as he slowly got up, enduring the pain that Mirren had caused. He then glared at Mirren and spoke.
"If you think adding magic to anything is going to stop me, think again."
Junai raised his arms up to the sky, with what strength he had left, and closed his eyes. Suddenly a bright light flashed down on the dank area, but only consumed Junai. Mirren shieled his eyes as the light became brighter and brighter, making him lose sight of the demon. Just then the light died down so he could see, to realize Junai was covered in it himself from head to toe.

Junai had to get a boost of strength. He wasn't going to call the gods so early, it was pointless to him right now. He had to transform. There wasn't anytime at the moment though for Mirren charged at him with the Goddesses' Sword.
"Hold it right there kid."
The sword dropped as Mirren was lifted off the ground. Junai was thankful that the Rise of Darkness didn't drain all that much. He panted as he looked at the boy in front of him. Then, flexing once more, he screamed loudly.

Junai's skin had completely blackened. His eyes, that once looked like pools of water, now looked like a sea of blood. His arms blare in flames and extruded spikes...and his katana was now nowhere in sight. This was Junai's demon form.

Junai felt a surge of energy flow through his body. The bleeding wounds he had now meant nothing to him. All he cared about was dealing with his opponent. Junai smiled devilishly at the young one he had in his clutches. He pulled the young one in closer to him as he spoke once more.
"That was a nice move, now let me return the favor..."
Right when Junai clenched his right fist to let Mirren go, he quickly morphed it into the blade and sent it piercing into Mirren's chest. Mirren howled in pain as he felt the blade go completely through. Junai gazed as he saw his pupils dialate very quickly. Junai then pulled back his left hand and let the boy have another taste of his fist. He watched as Mirren flew in front of him and skidded in the ground for sometime. Junai then leapt off the ground and flew in the young boy's direction.

Junai reached him just when he saw him coming to, and drove his black foot into his chest, putting great pressure on the wound he had put there. Mirren howled once again, coughing up blood from the impact. Junai then picked up his body and soared upward into the sky. When he got a good height, he held Mirren up by one arm and looked at him.
"The youth seem so fragile..."
He then started to spin rapidily in the air, pulling Mirren with him. Suddenly he stopped and turned quick, twisted Mirren behind him and breaking the kid's arm in the process. Junai then lashed the boy over his head and then tossed him back over, sending him to the ground.

The crater had become even deeper now. Half of the dead village was now taken over by the enormous hole. Junai's aim was impecable to hit the direct center of the crater once again. He stared down as the flapped his wings high above the ground. He smirked...then chuckled...then laughed hysterically. This was a magnificant beginning.

Mirren lay helpless as he rived in pain. His arm was shatted, and completly useless. He had a large gash in his chest, which blood poured from by the seconds. A pool of the cimson liquid began to form around him in the crater, and Junai figured he could finsih off the boy once and for all.

"And now my little friend......you die" he said to himself. Junai then began to fly down at Mirren, and balled up his one fist. He pulled it back, and grinned evilly as he got closer and closer. He was ready to pound Mirren into a blob, but at thelast second, Mirren's eyes suddenly lit up with fury, and he pointed the Goddesses' Sword out. Junai couldn't stop, and his fist ended up driving right into Mirren's sword, and the blade went up to his elbow inside the arm. Instantly roared in agony, and Mirren screamed again as he unleashed a bnlue beam of energy from the Goddesses' Sword. Junai hollowed in pain, and the energy blew him arm aaway. There was a great illumination, and a gust of wind from the explosion that sent Mirren flying backwards. He rolled a bit on the ground, and groaned a little once he stopped. He opened his eyes, and saw Junai clutching his right shoulder which was bleeding very badly. He was hoillowing in agony, and his right arm was completly gone. He knelt down riving from the enormous pain, and Mirren slowly stood up.

"Well......my arm may be useless......but the same goes for him....." he thought to himself in his mind.

Junai grinded his teeth as he tried to ignore the great pain shooting from his left side. He could become full strength in an instant right now if he wanted to, but he held back once again. He let go of his shoulder, but instantly put his right hand back groaning angrily. He had to let go to pull off something at this point. He knew he could take his time. Mirren was in no shape at this point, but he was coming in closer for an attack. Junai had to let go...

The pain was unbearable, but it was worth taking so he could spare himself some time to recover. He then clenched his right hand into a fist. Concentrating on his hand, heat started to surge through it. A beautiful white light pierced through his fingers, blinding Mirren and making him step back to shield his eyes. Junai grunted and panted as he directed his fist toward Mirren.
"Feel the wrath of Demon's Light..."
He then opened his fist, aplm forward, and out shot the light he grasped.

Mirren had no chance of dodging. He knew he couldn't escape this, as well did Junai. The light shot directly into Mirren's body and then pierced out in every direction imaginable. The young shot out screams of pain as the light sprang out from him. The light vanished as Mirren dropped to the ground motionless. This was Junai's chance.
"Gods, hear my call and renew my body to its former glory!"

Another light fell on the rubble. It moved closer and closer till it placed itself over Junai. The light seemed very heavenly as Junai embraced it. The brightness of it became stronger and stronger until the demon was out of sight.

A few moments past, and finally the light started to fade providing what looked to be Junai's silhouette. When it had completely vanish, he turned toward his opponent. Mirren started to come to when he noticed the demon above him, arm and all. Junai picked up Mirren and glared at him.
"Don't think for a second I'm going to let you win this. I have my reasons to fullfil my wins."
He then tossed him to the side like a rag doll, watching smash into the only standing building.

Mirren layed in the rubble of the building for awhile until Junai noticed movement once again. He clenched both of his fists creating two creations of Demon's Light. He was now going to attack from a distance.

Mirren suddenly began to get up through all of his agony and pain. Junai stopped, and was a bit surprised by Mirren's incredible fortitude. He cockedan eyebrow, and was amazed at how the small boy could still stand.

"Please......hold on for a moment....." Mirren began weakly, ".....if you have such a great reason for simply winning this fight.....please tell me.....I don't care if I lose.....but there's no purpose for one of us dying......"

ooc: Okay you're up! God this has been a good fight! ^_^

Junai looked at Mirren. If you nudged to boy, he'd prbably fall over. Junai lowered his head and spoke.
"The reason? It's the same reason all the time...to keep on living. My predecessor was sacrificed for his weakness...this is how I became. I was told the same would happen if I didn't meet the gods standards at killing the prey...

The thing is, they have the power to sacrifice me at anytime they choose. It is possible if I am defeated here...I could be sacrificed. And that, is what keeps me going."
Junai then raised his head, staring at the young boy across from him. He smirked as he noticed in what shape he was.
"Although...I love a great battle...and if you have the possiblity to regain your strength, do it now. If you wish to end this then I understand and will pull back."

Junai, still with attack ready, waited for a response.

Mirren stood breathing heavily, and grew weaker and weaker. He felt a little sorry for him, and knew of one way to help them both out. He pulled out si redwood ocarina, and played a soft, wonderful melody. Once he finsihed, Junai could see a golden object flying in the sky. Within a few moments, a large golden phoenix landed behind him, and Mirren hopped on.

"We'll call this fight a draw........goodbye Junai.....you were a great warrior, and I hope you won't be sacrificed any time soon. Mirren then flew off on his golden hoenix, until Junai could no longer even see the golden color of the great bird.

ooc: Well that was a great fight. I hope you don't mind it ending like this, if so I'll edit my post and we can continue, but if not then great battle!! ^_^

OoC: Well if you want to end it, then that's fine by me. Heh, considering how much the posted it wasn't all that short like I was thinking. It was a great battle, maybe we can battle again sometime.

Yeah, very nice duel. I guess Tenk's divine powers won out after all.
