A Quiet Storm (anyone)
OoC: I have battled with every one of my Elementals except for Tidra. So give her a good battle.
BiC: Tidra was relaxing at the beach. She looked out to the sea and saw a storm approaching from the horizon. "I'd better see to it that the storm doesn't come over here." She walked over, near the wall of the storm. "Strange, this storm doesn't seem to be moving. Well, this will make it easier to destroy it." She quickly ran past the wall and entered the eye. To her surprise, there was an island right at the eye of the storm. She walked towards the island and found it very relaxing. "I think I'll stay here a while." A few hours went by and Tidra decided to leave the island. Before she left, she heard a strange noise on the other side. "I never went there. I wonder what's there." Tidra cut through the trees and grass to reach the other side. She saw a figure on the beach. She yelled, "Hey, who are you?" The strange figure turned around and said... |

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
Ooc: I'll use Dedgoroth.
"Hello." The figuer said in a half friendly, half threatning tone that sounded sorta odd. "Who are you?" He returned the question. "I asked first." Tidra said. "Well I asked second." "Ok, now you're just anoying." Tidra said. "My name is Dedgoroth." he said, "NOW tell me yours and if you're friend or foe."

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
"My name is Tidra. As for friend or foe," Tidra walked towards Dedgoroth, "I don't know yet." Dedgoroth looked at her with uncertainty. "I'm assuming friend because judging by your expression, you wouldn't hurt me only if you had to. I don't think you could hurt me at all."
"What? I'm 4 inches taller than you and at least 50 pounds heavier." said Dedgoroth. "Size isn't everything. Let's have a battle and I'll show you what I mean." Dedgoroth accepted. He started off by running at full speed at Tidra. She just stood there and took a stance. Dedgoroth punched but Tidra slid on the floor, on her back, and used her feet, and Dedgoroth's momentum, to throw him across the beach. "Ok, no more fooling around." Dedgoroth took out one of his swords and aimed it at Tidra. Then he fired a fireball at her. Tidra let out a big sigh. Another human who can control the elements? Where are they learning this? Tidra thought. She put her hands out then she clapped, extinguishing the fireball with her hands. Dedgoroth was amazed. "That fire should have burned you." "Yeah but water always extinguishes fire. That's just common sense." That's perfect, now my fire attacks are useless. Guess I have to rely on good ol` hand to hand. thought Dedgoroth. |

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
Dedgoroth charged toward Tidra at full velocity, but he ran right pass her. "What the?" Dedgoroth said to himself as he looked at his feet. He had slipped on water the Tidra placed there. He slammed hard into the side of a tall rock. "That will come back to haunt me in the morning for sure." He grunted as he stood to his feet. "I admit, You are talented." Dedgoroth said.
He ran at her again, this time slightly slower and unsheathed his double swords. "Lets see how you fair with swords." He chalenged.

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
"Swords?" said Tidra in an uncertain tone. Ignoring her last comment, Dedgoroth rushed at Tirda with both swords. Tidra dodged most of the strikes, but with every strike missed Dedgoroth's attacks became faster. Tidra couldn't dodge them forever. Then she tripped and Dedgoroth launched a series of fast and powerful attacks. When he stopped Tidra was covered head to toe with cuts. She could barely stand up, but she continued to fight. Degdoroth went in for the final blow when Tidra ducked and hit his right wrist, which caused him to drop one of his swords. Tidra quickly grabbed it and cut his arm. Dedgoroth gave a quick smirk.
"So you have one of my swords, doesn't mean you can use it." said Dedgoroth. But Tidra laughed when he said this. "You think I'm going to use this?" Tidra raised her left arm and a ball of water came out of the sea. She then put the sword in the water and it fell back in the sea. "Now you only have one sword." Dedgoroth rushed again at her. Before he was able to strike a flurry of sand flew up in his eyes. Before he could react and beam of water hit his torso and sent him fly back into the sand. Soon after the attack, Tidra fell to her knees. The cuts from Dedgoroth's previous assault were beginning to take their toll. OoC: I realize it's short and I'm sorry for not getting back to you right away. |

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
"You Fool!" Dedgoroth yelled, slightly saddened by the loss of his weapon. "These swords are all that remain of my forgotton past!" He ran at her again, but stopped just a few feet in front of her. He let go of his sword which sent is whistling through the air, the blade pointing at his foe. But she sent another blast of water that sent Dedgoroth's second blade into the water. "I'll have to find those later." He said to himself. "Ok, so now I'm weaponless. But I... well, I think I was trained in hand to hand combat... Well, all I know is that I can battle with only my hands." He readied his hands for Tidra to attack 1st. It looked like salt water from her last attack had gotten in her wounds. Dedgoroth was waiting for he to either quit, or gather up her strength and continue on with the battle.

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
OoC: Sorry for being a week late. I had a lot of reading to catch up on.
BiC: It's starting to really hurt now. I don't think I can stand. thought Tidra. She looked up at Dedgoroth. He was becoming impatient. Looks like she's in a lot of pain. Well, I won't wait for her. thought Dedgoroth. He rushed at Tidra and began attacking violently. Tidra couldn't block them so she took each blow. Tidra fell to the ground. "Why don't you just give up. You're too weak to continue." said Dedgoroth. Tidra began to say something. "T-T-Tide." she said weakly. "What's that? You have to speak louder." "T-T-Tidal W-W-Wave!!" She raised her hand near the ocean and her hand began to glow. Dedgoroth looked over at the sea and saw a huge wave coming by the shore. "Did you do that?" asked Dedgoroth. Tidra gave a quick smirk. Before he knew it, the wave had hit the shore, him and Tidra. He tried to swim to the top but the wave impact had weakened him. He looked down and saw Tidra. She was in a feeble position and her eyes were tightly closed. Suddenly her body began to glow a bright blue. She opened her eyes and revealed them glowing the same blue color. Then her hair began turning blue. The water began to drain. Dedgoroth looked around trying to find where the water had gone. He followed the water and saw Tidra standing up and the water formed into three water pillars, circling her. Tidra then reached into two of the pillars and pulled something out of each. She then threw them at Dedgoroth. He caught them. They were his swords. “There. Now you won’t annoy me about them. Besides, I think it’s only fair that you have your weapons.” Tidra sent one of the water pillars hurdling towards Dedgoroth. Using his swords he tried to cut through them, but when he hit the pillar, his swords bounced off. The pillar hit him with an incredible force. “I don’t understand. Why couldn’t my swords cut through the water?” asked Dedgoroth. “Let’s make this a bit more interesting.” She stopped the remaining two pillars from moving and formed them into swords muck like Dedgoroth’s. “Ok, let’s go.” |

Re: A Quiet Storm (anyone)
Dedgoroth ran at her with blinding speed, his arms stretched behind him. Just before he reached he stopped and clashed his twin blades together creating a flash of fire that temporarily blinded Tidra. He ran at her again, swinging his swords at her, she ran backward as hard as she could trying to defend each attack. Some of his slashes hit her, but Tidra blocked most of them.
At the last moment when Dedgoroth knew for sure he'de defeat her, Tidra droped to the sand and tripped him. He was moving so fast that he tumbled foward and his face landed directly on a sharp sea shell. He got to his knees, spitting out dirt. He touched his cheek, it was covered in blood. Reaching down he picked up the shell that cut him, it was inhabited by a hermit crab.He tossed it into the ocean and returned his attention to Tidra.
