Fight In Hyrule CastleTown's Underground (2 vs. 2)

OoC:Having a Battle was Ace_at_Zelda64's idea, so he gets to join in on my character's side. This Battle is not the simple run through doors to reach a goal typical fight that is so popular now, but something a little unique. I'll be using Shade as my character. The link is in my signature. If you can, use Salocin, Ace. As for the other two roles, they're open for the taking, I just hope the characters that you choose are friends, so they will openly want to help each other out. Well, to set the stage of the fight, he other two need to claim their role now, and be in Hyrule Market, searching for goods, and see shade steal a strange circular object from one of the merchants. Then chase after him and the battle will soon follow. If you can't write at least two paragraphs per post, its best you don't join. Ace, you can send Salocin down after you see Shade being chased.

BiC- birds cloud the sky as a pure black cloak appears to fly as well, being blow forcefully by the cool wind. Shade was looking down below, watching people he didn't recognize.

How did this happen? What timespace did the Goddess send me? This town was never here before...but I sense this is Hyrule...

He stared as people made their ways through the town, yet none of their faces rang a bell, not one. No one noticed him either, as his odd light refracting cloak tends to make people want to avert their eyes from him. His dark blue eyes looked toward the ground, and he slid back, getting comfortable on the rooftop.

What could be my purpose here...The goddess should have let me know.

He stood to his feet, securing the rag tied around his mouth and pulling the hood of the cloak further down on him keeping wretched light from reaching him. After this, and a few minutes of confused boredom, Shade eyed a strange sphere covered in runes, being carried by a merchant. He suddenly had a thought that this was what he was sent to this era for. He watched the salesman sit the object on a wooden table, next to a sign of 100,000 rupees. He slid off of the roof, and gave some thought. He then sat down in a small chair of his own, looking around for any mentally tortured individuals. He didn't see any sad people at all...at least if there was some, they were gone now. After deciding he couldn't earn enough cash to buy it, he noticed his fingers were rubbing together with anticipation.

Well, this is for the Goddess... He smiled as he watched the merchant stand up and turn his head, trying to attract customers. he then climbed over the other side of the house, over to the area he had found earlier, the alleyway. After folding up his robe and placing it inside of his bag, traces of the light began to leak down from the clouds above. Shade watched as the light hit his body, they passed right through, turning the touched areas light blue. The bag and his clothes also were penetrated by the light, which as why he was wearing the light refracting cloak. he didn't want people calling him a ghost. After he prepared, he looked out of the alleyway to see the table in the far right of the market. Shade finally stepped into the light, making him fully transparent. As his skin turned to a bluish, see-through phantom form, he dropped a deku nut onto the dirt. It caused a crackle as it burst, blinding a few peoplenearby, who yelled out in protest. When they looked to the perpatrator, he was gone. He was still there, granted, but he was invisible for now. He sprinted to the far side of the market, leaping through the air. He timed it just right as the merchant was looking away, and snatched the sphere. He ran with it, and placed it under his shirt. He didn't see it, but a small glow from the sphere was still visible, but it only caught the eye of two certain warriors...

OOC: thanks for the invite, as long as this stays interesting, i can keep my posts pretty long.

Dang was in hyrule castle market, pawning off junk that he found lying on the ground somewhere. The stuck up rich idiots of a capital city where well... idiots. He was selling things he found on the ground, and people were buying! Top dollar merchandise? Fat chance, but you can sell anything to a fool with money in his pocket. Now, this wasn't Dang's style really, he wasn't the merchant type. But he needed money, and if he could turn nothing into something he needs, why not try it right?

So he was siting there selling his stuff, when he noticed someone on a rooftop, slinking around like a, like a thief. Dang kept an eye on him, losing a customer at the same time, but it didn't matter anymore. This one had a mission, and one that just wasn't right. Dang saw him dissappear, or rather, dim slightly. Then he threw a deku nut, much to the disgruntlement of those around him, and in the flash, finished fading. A ball began floating, and was covered slightly, emmitting a slight glow still. Dang moved to follow it, and the people at his stand protested and yelled after him. He ignored them, he was busy catching an invisible thief.

Okay, so whoever wants to join Chief of the Ace's character, the role is completely open, as for Shade, he's gonna team up with Ace_at_Zelda64.

OoC: I shall join in the chase.

BiC: Drago stood in a dark alley watching people do thier buying and selling. To Drago it all seemed to be a bunch of junk. The mortals ran about talking and chattering like there was no such thing as Evil in this world. Drago only saw a few items that interested him, but he felt no need to buy them like the foolish humans.


Drago's gaze shifted to a strange man sitting upon a roof. He seemed much different then all the other people here. He didn't seem to care much for anything that was here, yet he stayed. After a while Drago lost his interest and watched around the market. He knew it was here, so where was it?

After a small time Drago saw a merchant carry out what Drago was looking for. The thing he carried was a sphere with Drago's language on it. He had been looking for this for some time, but the first time he found it, he had dropped it and a human managed to escape with it.

Drago began moving towards the merchant before the man on the roof caught his attention. He had stood up and became hard to see. Drago's eyes snapped open at what the clothes the man was wearing. They weren't supposed to be in a place like this. Drago threw his cape around so that his form was revealed. The black dragon's emerald green eyes watched the mortal as the man pulled out a Deku Nut and threw it down, blinding the people around him for a short time.

Drago quickly began running for the sphere with a roar. When he was only three strides away, the sphere rose into the air and floated off with a dim light. Drago knew that sphere wasn't floating as he saw another mortal break from a group, chasing the transparent man.

"I shall not lose it twice to such mortals!" Drago yelled as his wings snapped open and lifted him into the air, with silent, strong flaps. People screamed at seeing the Dragon Overlord fly into the air after the sphere.

OOC: i don't know how a character like that was approved, But hey, he's on my side so who's complaining.

BIC: Dang noticed a large armored dragon flying towards the small sphere, I guess he wants it too he thought to himself, well, Those markings on his armor resemble those on the stone, so maybe it's his. Dang was as satisfied with the giant dragon as he could be at this point. So he kept up the chase, gaining on the thief.

OOC: sorry it's so short, I can't expand anymore until Ace_at_zelda64 Puts his post back.

The invisible culprit moved fast, very fast. Even Drago had trouble keeping up with the strange floating light as the Thief bounded off of rooftops, scaled walls, and did all kinds of amazing feats while at the same time maintaining a constant, break-neck speed. For a moment, Shade turned around, and saw that they were actually able to keep up...barely. What really unnerved him was there was a fully grown dragon on his tail, and a blonde-haired man close behind.

Damn it...no one's ever been able to see me like this before...it must be the thing I'm carrying. He thought as he leapt clean over a small child in the street, sliding under a wheeled cart full of vegetables to obscure their view. Drago crushed the cart under his massive foot, roaring to let everyone know a royal dragon was in their prescence. The one some call Dang Man-Ci was being the opposite, gaining a slight lead over Drago. The huge dragon turned to the human, wondering what the hell he was doing.

"Human! What beckons you to follow this thief, who bears an artifact so rightfully mine?!"

"Well, you want it back, don't you?!" He asked playfully as he looked up at the frightening beast, unafraid.

"I can manage on my own, pitiful creature!" Drago growled, his wings flapping noisily.

"Well, just call me extra insurance."

They conversed as they sprinted, and Dang noticed something.

"Why isn't he making any noise?!"

"Quit asking ignorant questions. Apparently this isn't a typical bandit, after all, he IS invisible!"

"Good point!" Responded Dang as they ran, the robber suddenly making a sprint across the side of a wall. They followed suit, with Drago and Dang side to side. The invisible runner did a flying spiral through the air, swinging on a pole holding up a shop's sign.

OoC: Ace's Turn.

OOC: I guess it dosen't really matter that I lost my original post. Also, Drago, how are we supposed to even touch your dragon? Please PM me and Shade because we would bith like to know.

BIC: Salocin stood in the shadows looking at the place where his next assassination would be. He figured he could hide on the roof untill night-fall then snipe the target with his bow. Just as he began to climb onto the roof he saw a fait-blue glow floating down the street with great speed. Salocin closed his eye's, shook his head, and just had time to he the thing run around a corner.

Wow, that was interesting,he thought.
Then he saw a man with blonde hair and a...A DRAGON?! They appeared to be chasing the blue glow. Salocin suddenly wanted that glowing object with all his heart. The man and dragon were now past him so he hopped A fence and ran across a street to another fence and hopped it. He was now two streets over from where he had started. He looked both ways and saw a blue glowing object swing around on a poll and fly into a shop. Salocin ran after it and saw a trap door open and the light go through. He followed quickly and found himself in a hallway lit with torches on brackets with cob-webs everywhere. He ran down the path with-out making a noise. He then turned a corner and found himself in a large circular room. He started walking forward and bumped into a man. He withdrew a long half-cicular shaped weapon.

"Who are you?" the man asked.

"Your follower and killer."

"Talk is cheap," the man said as he started to raise his blade but at that moment both men heard a trap door open and two things came inside.

"Fight with me and you may live to see tomorrow."

Not like I have a choice now, Salocin though as he drew his bow.

OOC: you don't seem to realize even with my extra weight on i could outrun the dragon do you? Dang is FAST. But it doesn't matter, although I expect you to recognize my speed during the battle, see my previous battles for instance. like my battles against Kao.

BIC: "I think he went in here!" Shouted Dang as he descended through the trapdoor.

"I agree human, although i still see not why you are here."

"I am here because i saw a thief, in fact, i saw him first. So you, however unbelievably large and powerful you, will just have to deal with a wingman." Drago Universi just snorted in response, and blew a short shot of fire to light the room, lighting up the spy, now visible, and a new man, dressed like an assassin. Dang hailed the new one "You throw yourself in with this thief? Prepare to meet the same fate as he will," with that, Dang drew his pike, and held it in a (for once) well known pike fighting form, one hand at the base, the other one third of the way op the pole, holding it raised at about a fifty degree angle.

Drago bent forward towards his opponents and let out a roar that shook the place. "You shall not escape with that alive!" Drago said as he pointed at the orb. Drago reared back his head and spewed flames towards his opponents.

Shade and Salocin jumped out of the black fire's way. They both jumped to their feet just in time to see Drago and Dang charging towards them.

Every flipped their wepaons into their hands. Drago turned to the left and ran at Salocin, while Dang jumped at Shade. Drago roared as he slammed Salocin into a wall.

"I'll kill you, mortal!" Drago whispered into his opponents ear as he tried to bite Salocin's head off.

"Not yet!" Salocin yelled as he ducked out of Drago's hold and smashed his weapon upon the Overlord's back.

"Prepare to die!" Drago murmured as three black beams flew at Salocin.

OOC: i know this isn't the place, but drago, would you consider doing that battle against mokujin, I doubt ravenx will be after something like that, but hey, he don't matter, the entire thing rests on you being there. Anyway, now to continue this. Although Shade and Ace_at_zelda64 need to post about what their own characters will do, so this cant help but be fairly short.

BIC: Dang was left to go after the theif, he was going to do just that, but first he wanted to know what would make someone do something like that. He hailed the thief. "Who are you, and why did you steal that?"

"I Am Shade, and i was sent here to obtain this orb. That is all you need to know, now prepare to fight!" He brandished his enchanted scimitar menacingly.

OOC: really sorry bout the shortness.

OOC: Guess I'll go next.

BIC:Shade seemed to want to deal with Dang so that left Drago to Salocin.

Sure I get the dragon,, he thought. He was just notching an arrow when the dragon shot beams of pure energy at him.

"Holy ****!," Salocin exclaimed as he dived out of the way. The blasts smashed into the wall behind him.

"You are quick but not enough!" Drago yelled. Drago started to shoot another beam at Salocin while Salocin got his bow ready. Drago screamed as he shot the beam across the room. As soon as the blast was done Salocin shot an arrow straight into Drago's mouth.

"Ha.Ha.Ha. Was that supposed to hurt?" Drago asked Salocin while he looked over to see how Shade was doing.

OOC: Sorry but I have a hard time with magic powers.

Shade stared at Dang, and waved his mystic scimitar, Vargas. The black vein-like tendrils on the blade rippled and and pulsed as the vine fed on the evil emanating from the weapon. The yellow gems that lined the hilt glinted in the torchlight that dimly illuminated the room as Shade scowled at his opponent.

"Your name, constable?"

"I'm not a constable."

"Really? Then why are you tracking me?"

"Because you are a thief."

"I have my reasons for what I do."

"As do I."

"Your name, vigilante?"

"Dang...Dang Man-Ci."

"I see. Proud of yourself for helping this big lizard?"

"Let's just get down to business."

Dang spun his pike on his fingers like a baton, taking an odd stance that consisted of gripping both the pike and eastern sword. He lunged at Shade, who did an aerial somersault that surprised the man with blonde hair, because instead of landing on the ground, the thief had gripped the ceiling of the passage with one of the blades sticking out of his right wrist. In a split second, as Dang was expecting the somersault to end in front of him, so he could attack, Shade made his move, using his free hand to slash Dang's back with Vargas. Upon contact with the evil blade's tip, Dang felt pain pierce his very soul. The warrior was in excruciating pain, yet the wound was minor.

"Now...you understand. I am no common burglar, Dang."

Shade then snapped his fingers, and the torches went out, causing Shade to become close to totally invisible. Not even the glow was visible now, because Shade quickly ripped open a floorboard, and stashed the artifact underneath. When Dang had attacked earlier, Shade had placed the object behind a wooden support beam that stood out on the wall, allowing him to attack with more speed and without worry for the sphere's safety.

Now that Shade couldn't be seen and the others were distracted, he searched for another door. He found a lever on the wall that Shade was heading to earlier, and he gripped it, and pulled down. The effect was a trapdoor opening beneath him, and he fell through, soundlessly.

One of the three warriors saw the trapdoor open, and knew where the thief had gone. his movements were sure to cause the others to realize this, as well.

Dang picked himself up off the ground, content that he could leave the dragon and the assassin here and pursue the thief. He knew they noticed him, but it did not mattter for they wre busy with eachother, He dropped off into the darkness, Wincing as he expected pain in his back but then realizing the seriousness of the cut, It was magic that had made that hurt so, of that he was sure.

"Come out, come out, wherever you are... you dirty thief!"

"I'm right here", shade said as his blade flashed in the darkness, barely blocked in time to save Dang's head. Dang then slid his blade down in a parry like motion, knocking the thief less off balance than a parry at impact would have. It was enough to allow Dang an attack with his pike and no fear of a block. He jabbed Shade with the tip and did a fair amount of damage for a single attack, but minor flesh wounds such as that would not keep the enchanted thief down and he struck with Vargas once again, Knocking Dang over as he barely put his sword in the way soon enough for a guard.

"Look at you, on the ground before me. You should have minded your own business Vigilante."
