Awakening of the liches

OoC: This battle takes place on a graveyard. Reager (the character i'm using in this battle, link in sig) tries to awaken Kal'zulai, an evil and powerfull necromancer. The point is that you have to stop Reager before he can awaken Kal'zulai.

BiC: The night was cold, no stars were on the sky, and an altar stand in the middle of many graves. And the moon shined on it. This graveyard was frighting for the villagers, they never came here. Not even to let their dead rest here. Because here lied Kal'zulai, a mighty necromancer who was part of a group of necromancer, that had threathen the world with their unholy magic and their undead army.

Although the necromancer was dead, you could still feel that evil magic wanders there. Not even rats were there. But there was someone. You couldn't see his face, but when he approached the graveyard, you could see that he didn't had a face. It was merely a skull, and a red light mysteriously shined out of his eyesockets. This wasn't a human, this was an undead.

"So, you rest here, Kal'zulai?" The undead spoke to the altar. "You're now part of those that you control?" The undead looked at the moon and laughed, an evil laugh. "How ironic, but you might be happy to know, that you will become the same as the army we controlled, but with more power", The undead spoke. "But first, let me prepare the spell."
But then, he heared a sound coming from behind a grave. "I know that i'm the only one that can awaken the death in this area, who are you?"

OOC: I will use Alpha/Omega, who is in the sig. He has a habit of transforming into whatever he is talking to, so as he aproaches Reager, he lookes like a skeleton dressed in a black robe.

BIC: "If you release Kal'zulai, the balance between Good and Evil will be disrupted. I warn you not to disrupt the balance." Alpha/Omega said.

"Do you think to fool me into thinking you are undead?" Reager said. "Show your true self."

"Most people feel more comfortable speaking with others that look like them." Alpha/Omega said, as he revealed himself. "I am the Enforcer of Balance, and if you wish to raise an army of the dead, there are ways that won't disrupt the balance of Good and Evil."

"I care not for goodness, or balance." Reager said as he summoned an undead fighter. The fighter charged forward, but Alpha/Omega used a Light Beam to desintegrate the fighter. Reager had already turned to start the spell, but Alpha/Omega used Gravity to pull him away from the alter. Reager then used Chaotic Rain, in hopes of infecting Alpha/Omega's mind.

Alpha/Omega began to hear a small voice telling him to stop resisting, but his powers of darkness made him familiar to darkness spells. He used senctuary to keep the rain off until it stopped.

"Your presence in this world does not disrupt the balance, but your actions will. Leave now." Alpha/Omega said.

OOC: One question: How close does Reager have to be to the alter to cast the spell?

OoC: He has to be atleast 1/2 feet in range of the altar to continue the spell.

BiC: "Why should i leave? " Reager said, "It is you who has to leave! I will continue what i started 300 years ago, but i can not do that without my fellow necromancers. And gues what? If they will become the same as me, than nobody has the power to stop us!"

"You are mad," Alpha/Omega said. "Mad ? No, i only wish to revenge my brothers and me, even if it means destroying this world!" Reager said. "Then you must be stopped," Alpha/Omega replied. "Trie, and you will die," Reager laughed diabollicy.

Reager fired a death ball, and Alpha/ Omega responded with a light beam. The two hitted eachother with a blast. Then, Reager summond another undead, this time it was 6 feet tall, and had a club in his hand. The undead striked at Alpha/Omega.

Alpha/Omega used another light beam, and it an arm of the undead, and it fel of . It stopped looking at his arm, and then it looked at Alpha/Omega. It roared. Reager said calm: "Don't be silly, heal the undead!" Immediatly was the arm back at his former place.

"Now, because i see that you are dealing quite well with one undead, so how about two?" Another skeleton raised from his grave, now holding a fork.

Alpha/Omega used Illusion to surround Reager, and the zombies with copies of himself. He pulled out his staff and charged Reager while they were confused. Reager had anticipated that the real Alph/Omega would be the one between Reager and the alter. He raised his staff, and they pushed against each other. Alpha/Omega was the better fighter, so he pushed Reager back, but the zombies were on to him.

The zombies grabbed Alpha/Omega's arms, and Reager summoned anothr zombie to hold him down. As Reager aproached the altar again, Alpha/omega used Gravitation to throw the zombies on their master. He then used Light Beam to strike them all. The skeletons stood in front of Reager as he unleashed Death Balls to counter the Light Beams.

The skeletons Reager summoned were getting stronger. It was almost as if the dead were learning from their mistakes, and started attacking from beneath the ground. Alpha/Omega felt as if they were trying to bury him as he sank waist deep in the mud. Reager started chanting words, and after a few words, Alpha/Omega's instant translation ability kicked in. He hurled his staff at Reager, but a barrier kept it from connecting. After a combination of Light Beams and Gravitation, Alpha/Omega destroyed the skeletons.

Knoing the language of the spell, Alpha/Omega began to chant in reverse. Reager began chanting louder, but the backwards chanting was negating the entire spell. He used a Death Ball to distract Alpha/Omega, so all chanting ceased.

"Balance is what keeps life progressing. Too much evil breeds chaos, hich is what you will bring if you raise the other necromancers. My masters created all life, so I know of a way to return your soul to you." Alpha/Omega said.

"Why should I care for a soul? Emotion distracts one from acomplishing revenge." Reager said.

"How can you enjoy revenge, if you can't experience joy. Revenge is fueled by the loss of something, or someone, you cared about. Why does one with no soul care for those who have died?" Alpha/Omega asked.

"Yes indeed, i can't feel any emotions," Reager said," But it is not that kind of revenge, it is the revenge for my brothers, because i know they would do the same as me if they had the change," "How do you know that?" Alpha/Omega asked. "Because, unlike me, they had a soul, and we need eachother, because after our "execution" all necromancers were killed."

"And that's not all, when i was resurrected into this, something speaks to me, drives me to do this," Reager continued. "And who is that, if i may know?" Alpha/Omega asked. "To be honest, i don't know. But what i do know, is that i must let the world suffer!" Reager replied.

Immediatly after Reager said that, the skeletons and zombies resurrected. And some more came out from their grave. Alpha/Omega used light beams to destroy them, but Reager counterd by healing his undead servants. Now the skeletons and zombies were more caution. Some sneaked from behind Alpha/Omega and held him at his arms, while some skeletons approached Alpha/Omega

Alpha/Omega struggeld from this uncomfrontabel position. He kicked in a zombie's leg who was helding his right arm. The zombie fell, and Alpha/Omega was free. Quickly the used gravity to toss away the undead. But when he was free, he saw that Reager was at the altar. But he wasn't chanting the spell.

A ghost appeared. The ghost looked like an old man, whos eyes were replaced by a mysterious, green light. His clothes looked like if they were burned. He had a long, grey beard, and a human skull served as hat.

"My name is Kal'zulai," The ghost said, "And i'm here to make sure that my resurecction is going perfectly well, which isn't." Reager said to Alpha/Omega: "The spell calls first the spirit of the necromancer,". "I see that this "person is trying to stop you", The spirit of Kal'zulai said "I can help you, but is not much, my apprentice." "Any help would be, helpfull master", Reager replied.

Suddenly, a long staf appeared in Kal'zulai's hand, and he swinged it around a couple of times, but he stopped, and a knight in black armor that was riding on a black horse appeared. "This is the death knight, and this one won't be easily defeated," Kal'zulai said, and he dissapeared.

Kal'zulai wasn't kidding about the strength of the knight. Light beams and Gravity did nothing against it. As the black knight charged, Alpha/Omega used Shroud of Darkness. This was effective at confusing the knight, but Alpha/Omega still had two strong opponents to deal with. Knowing that Kal'zurai's soul still rested in the alter, Alpha/Omega devised a plan.

No one could see in the absolute darkness, but as Reager began chanting, he also gave away his location. Alpha/Omega stood directly behind Reager, at a good distance, and shot a light beam. The black knight saw this and charged. Reager ducked just in time for the knight to leap over him and the alter. Being summoned by Kal'zurai meant the knight coudn't smash the alter. As the knight turned, Alpha/Omega used his Black Hole spell. The ultimate spell destroyed the knight, but he would not be able to cast the spell again for twenty four hours.

This angered Kal'zurai enough that he showed himself once more. Alpha/Omega spoke, "Soul of the dead! Purify your mind!" It was a risky move, using both ultimate spells within ten seconds of each other, but the Purification spell removed all negative emotion from the spirit. "Ghosts only linger in the land of the living because of regrets. Now you may go to the afterlife in peace." Alpha/Omega said.

"I will find a way to acomplish my goal." Reager said.

"Your presence will not disrupt the balance of Good and Evil. Do what you wish." Alpha/Omega said as he walked away.

OOC: What do you think of that ending?

OoC: I think that was a good ending, and now an ending for Reager.

BiC: As Reager saw Alpha/Omega leave, he knew that the altar of his master wasn't the only altar. He would revive the remaining necromancers, with or without Kal'zulai.

As the rain stopped, Reager dissapeared in the night, waiting for the day of revenge.
