The water's edge (Anyone)
OoC: Alright, lately, I've been trying to battle more often. However, I've been having some bad luck. Anyway, I'm just asking that anyone who posts here is willing to see it through. Karaza's in my sig.
BiC: Fresh water splashed into the morning air as it washed up onto the rocks of lake shore. Trees surrounded the mighty lake as a light gale pressed it’s way through the forest paths. Leaves withstood the wind and maintained their rightful place atop of the trees. The water of the lake pushed a gentle moisture into the air that cooled all of area. Animals rested in the morning sun, some in the forest and some in the deep depths of the lake. A beautiful spring morning as far as the forest stretched. A ruffle of leaves could be heard as Karaza walked gently along the path. The green coverings of the trees that did not hold on hard enough cushioned his step. He folded his arms behind his head and closed his eyes, thus using his ears to guide himself. A small smile tried to make it’s way onto his white face, but he used all of his might to chase it away. He was happy, but he didn’t want to admit it to himself. With all his might he had tried to ignore his emotions, for as long as he could remember. However, constantly he found himself with strong emotions that broke free. Whenever he saw an old friend, when he saw a baby’s smile, when he heard a cat purr. His emotions were growing stronger, not only his positive ones, but his negative emotions as well. His pain inside and his lack of memory tortured him constantly. His mind shifted suddenly as he heard his stomach growl. “No, this isn’t right. I ate the day before last. If things get any worse for me, I might begin to actually believe that I’m turning into a human.” he said to himself aloud. He sighed and headed slowly towards the lake, hoping to catch something to eat. It took him only a few seconds to reach the lake. On his way he noticed that the path of the forest was clearer towards the lake, as if someone had tidied it. As far as he knew, no one lived in the area, nor would anyone desire to come so far out of their way. However his hunger bothered him far too much to stop and worry about the path. He sat down on a grassy hill that was formed very close to the lake and threw off his vest and shirt. He peeled off his black gloves and untied the laces on his boots. Karaza took a few steps backwards and ran suddenly towards the lake. He hit the cold water with a wet splash and dived under. The water was cold and stung his eyes for the first few minutes, the time it took him to adjust. He swam deeper into the lake until he reached the bottom. Although the water was fresh water, there was still enough pressure to keep him from the floor, so he used the aid of telekinesis to pin him down. He looked around for a second and let some air exit his mouth. The water irritated his eyes, so he couldn’t see as far as usual. It didn’t really matter, for there were fish swimming everywhere. He extended his claws ans began piercing fish with them, using his claws like fishing spears. The water slowed his motion but he had enough strength to successfully catch several fish. Karaza gasped for breath as his head hit the surface of the water. He walked onto shore slowly due to an increase of weight from the water. As he made his way onto the grass, his pants dripped the fresh, clear water thus marking his path. He sat down and shook himself off as to dry his hair and body. He then grabbed his vest, shirt, gloves and boots and walked towards the forest, leaving the fish in a spot in the grass. Karaza arrived back at the spot where he had dropped the fish with a pile of twigs and a few rocks. With a griping, scratching noise, he began to dig up a patch of land. With a small thud he dropped the twigs into the shallow hole and the began beating the rocks against each other. It took him several minutes, but he finally got a fire going. Then, with a few quick swipes, the fish fell into several pieces. He then removed the skin and peeled out the bone. After finishing eating, Karaza stood up with a full stomach. By now he was almost completely dry and it was almost mid afternoon. He looked around the lake to see what was happening. The wind had died down and the water was now calm. Trees no longer rustled in the breeze and animals had come out to search for food. The day seemed to had turned out good for Karaza as he readied to leave the lake. However, a frown made it’s way onto his face as a threatening figure appeared on the other side of the lake.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
OoC- I'll join. I'll use Zone. My link is in the sig. I'll post by editing in just a moment...people tend to steal my places in battles.
BiC- As Karaza studied the menacing figure on the other side of the body of clear water, he waited for them to move. They didn't so much as breathe, or blink. The green hair of the individual was the only thing that moved, and it was pushed by the breeze that passed by, in the silence. Karaza made out that the individual looked human, but his instinct told him it was something far worse. "Someone...help me....I can't...oh god...HE'S KILLING ME!" Karaza jumped to attention as he heard this. He realized the sound was coming from the young person...scratch that...young thing on the other side of the lake, yet his lips remained closed. And it wasn't Telekinesis as far as Karaza could tell, because the sound was echoing in the almost-soundless place. The humanoid thing with green, strangely styled hair reached into its white jacket and brought forth a small, silvery device. Karaza had no doubt that this was a tape recorder of some kind, and looked on with disgust. "I C-GHANT BREAG--" A series of gurgling noises finished the recording, and the horrid thing tried to smile, contorting its humanlike face into a wretched smirk. "You bastard..." Karaza uttered, his face covered with sweat. The apparently malevolent thing that stood by the water's edge opened it's mouth, and released a static-noise. In that constant, unbearable sound came the faint, taunting laughter of a child. Hahahahahaaaa-Ha. Karaza tried to restrain his emotions, but this was too much. His eyes turned white, and he screamed with frustration at this extremely unwelcome visitor. As he screamed with frustration, he heard a faint click. The villainous guest had recorded his cry of hatred. The eyes of the green-haired one finally moved, and Karaza saw a faint flash of red in them. In the sudden blink of an eye, The evil one stepped into the lake, and seemed to sink quickly to the bottom, like a dead-weight. Much too fast for a human...But I was sure he wasn't one of those, anyway, wasn't I? he has to be some kind of machine. That would explain everything... Karaza prepared himself, ready for the new enemy to make a lunge for him, but he waited more than an hour, and he got tired of waiting. "Gah, stupid thing probably can't take water." Karaza took a brief glimpse into the water, and saw his reflection looking back at him with equal earnest. He decide he would give himself a lookover. He examined every bit of clothing he had, the vest, the torn shirt, the bracelets on his arms.... "Wha?!" Karaza's "reflection" burst from the water, sending a quick punch of metallic fist into his face.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Karaza felt pain flow to his face as he hit the grassy bottom of the lake side. "A shape shifter? No, he was down there for too long. Even if he was posing as me, he couldn't have submerged for such a long period of time. A meta human perhaps?" thoughts continued through Karaza's head as he stood up slowly and looked up the creature that stared him in the face. Exactly like himself except for the metal gauntlets on his hands.
"You, I've come for you." the creature informed Karaza with a voice that matched his own completely. Karaza extended his claws and cracked his knuckles by flexing and bending his fingers. His solid mouth indicated an anger burning inside him, an anger fuelled by frustration and confusion. He twisted his foot around and braced himself. "You came all this way for me? Well, I'm flattered buddy, but I don't swing that way." he said as he looked upon himself that stood before him. The creature laughed, a laugh that would very rarely be heard out of Karaza's mouth. A laugh of amusement, and entertainment. "You're funny, or at least you think you are. No, I came here to capture you. Takajima has been tracing you, and now he wants to study you more closely. After all, you are a spectacular being Karaza. Now, you can either come peacefully, or I can take you in by force." the creature said as the two began to slowly circle each other in a clockwise motion. Karaza stopped and so did his other self. "Well, I'm not going anywhere until you tell me who you are, why exactly you look as I do and why you think you are capable of taking me in by force. You have three questions, and until I kill you to answer them." told Karaza to his other self as he lunged at him. The creature dodged and attacked himself with a metal fist. "Alright then. My name is Zone. I am able to transform into you because I am an android with doppleganging capabilities. I was sent here to capture you so that the Immortal eye Labs could study you. I can take you in by force because not only do I know your every weakness, but I have as much power as you do. Happy?" he asked as he struck Karaza in the stomach. Karaza recovered from the blow by sticking his feet to the ground before he reached the water. "Well Zone, I'll fight you, but you won't be taking me in alive. You either have to let me walk away, or take me in dead. Your choice, and by the sounds of it, I'm guessing that your company hates to lose. And this is a lose/ lose situation for you. So make your move." taunted Karaza as he walked slowly towards Zone. OoC: I didn't notice how short it was while I was writing it. Sorry 'bout that.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
OoC- No problem, long enough for me.
BiC- "You know, being you is kinda fun..." Zone raised an arm that looked exactly like Karaza's, and it's nails grew, exactly like the original. The android then slowly rose from the ground, similar to the way Karaza usually does. Zone's eyes seemed passive, but through them, he was gathering information on Karaza by scanning his physical structure. Slowly Karaza began to rise, extending his claws as well. Karaza was amazed by the mechanoid being's ability to mimic his physical powers as well as his appearance. One thing still puzzled him. "How are you able to float? You can't have psychic abilities...you're a machine." "I don't need your worthless brain tricks. My magnetic core generates enough negative force to allow flight." As he spoke, Zone was gathering information on Karaza's telekinetic power. They now hovered face-to-face, ready to battle. Zone turned his head, and cackled a bit. "While you were asking all of those worthless questions, I scanned every last bit of you. As we speak, I am processing every possible move you can make." The lifeless machine revealed an empty smile, and lifted a finger towards Karaza. The chain on his neck weakly struggled under Karaza's shirt, and he pretended to rub his chest, in actuality he held his necklace down. Zone's morph bracelet suddenly liquified, and wrapped around Zone's neck, taking the form of a necklace of his own. Zone paid no attention. They suddenly flew at each other, Zone's cold metal chest slmming hard into Karaza's, but he was able to briefly slice Zone's side, causing an electrical crackle as they landed on opposite sides of the lake. Zone made a whirring noise, and his morphband slid into the lake, in liquid form. Karaza didn't notice. Zone smirked with Karaza's face as he analyzed the situation. Karaza had a huge bruise on his chest, and it slowly healed as Zone's damage began to heal at a crawling pace also. They both watched each other, a slight sweat forming on Karaza's brow. This guy isn't playing around...he's way tougher than the 'bot that I fought to help that woman... Zone lunged again, this time slashing his nails into Karaza's leg. The original Karaza retaliated with a swift slash to the android copy's face. A splatter of the creature's silver blood trickled from the thin wound slightly above it's knee, becoming toxic fume as it hit the grassy ground. Zone's slightly scarred face crackled with electricity as it slowly began to heal, his eyes constantly focused on Karaza.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Karaza landed with a soft thud on the ground. His wound began to heal slowly and he watched that of Zone do the same. "Well, perhaps you have copied my physical power, but that is only one of my powereful attributes. If I can't over power you, I'll out smart you." taunted Karaza slowly as Zone's face healed. The android looked him over from top to bottom and smiled slowly.
Zone approached Karaza slightly and then laughed. "Karaza, you can think as hard as you like. You can't beat me with your mind alone, and since I've analyzed all of your possible movements and stratagies, nothing you can do will save you. You'd be wise to surrender now and come along before I have to seriously injure you." Zone lied. He knew that due to Karaza's regenerating powers, he wouldn't be able to severely hurt Karaza without killing him. Suddenly, without fore word, Zone flew high into the air at a very fast speed. Karaza also followed him upwards. As he soared upwards with the power of telekinesis, he saw the trees shrink and the water grow small. It took but a second for him to reach the android in the sky where he had chose to stop. The two combatants were several stories high and falling could mean death or fatal injury. Karaza threw himself quickly at Zone with one arm in the air, claws out. "You take yourself into the air for what reason? If anything you've weakened your chances. Perhaps you're malfunctioning." Karaza teased as he swung at Zone. He didn't change his position, but his body transferred position thus dodging the on coming attack. Zone then swung a fist at Karaza's, but was shocked to see his hand pass directly through his head. "WHAT!?! How were you able to do that? As far as I can tell, I have no such ability. Trickery no doubt." Zone questioned Karaza as he kept swinging, each time his hand passed through Karaza. After a few swings he got frustrated and stopped. Karaza took on a position in the air that made it look like he was sitting in a chair reading a newspaper. "No, no. No trickery, as you so rudely put it. My mollecules were scattered in a chemical reaction. As a result I am able to separate my mollecules as you've already seen. A nifty tactic I must admit." Karaza explained as Zone frowned. "You mock me fool. I already knew you mollecules were screwed up. My sensors told me that that was what gave you your speed. However, I am able to accelerate just as you are, why aren't I able to phase as you do." while asking this question Zone began to frown more than he had in the earlier moments of the battle. Karaza smiled for second and then went back to his serious attitude. "My, my, you sure do ask a lot of questions don't you? Anyway, after this, we continue the fight. Yes, it is true that you are able to speed up as I do. This is merely due to the fact that my mollecules do not separate in order for me to speed up, they merely accelerate. In order to phase, my mollecules must separate. Even though you take after my body, you are not capable of maintaining your mollecules while they are separated." He explained to Zone as the two slowly lowered themselves to the ground. As their feet landed on the soft, moist grass, Zone began to speak, "Well, perhaps there is something you can use against me, but I'm currently scanning you. In a mere seconds, I'll know everything about your phasing capabilities. You stand no chance. Give in fool." however, Karaza intended to do no such thing... OoC: If I don't get over this damn writer's block, I'm going to hurt someone.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
BiC- Zone chuckled under his breath.
"I can't read your mind, but I know enough about you that what I'm saying isn't getting through the inferior processing unit you call a brain. I guess you need a little more convincing. I don't require oxygen, food, or any other trivial thing needed by a life form to continue life processes. I can fight forever, and I draw energy from everything that surrounds me...even a little kinetic energy from yor movements can last me an entire day. You however...cannot." In the blink of an eye, Karaza speedily assaulted Zone, but as Zone moved to counter, Karaza phased, much to the anger of Zone's AI. Again, Zone spoke. "I see now that there is a chance that your phasing could permanently disrupt your molecular structure...and yet you waste your time with something so harmful? You are a bigger fool than I realiz--" Before finishing, Zone delivered a kick to Karaza with such speed that even he couldn't prepare for it. Zone finished this up with a kick that sent Karaza into the depths of the lake. In the depths of the water, Karaza started to come up for air, but the liquid metal bracelet slid onto his face and delivered a powerful shock to him, which was magnified due to the water. He tried to yell out in pain, but the metal tightly grasped his face. He thought for a moment, then decided to phase. His molecular structure sped up, and he was able to escape its cold grip. He reappeared standing on the side of the lake opposite of Zone, and at the same time, the android's bracelet had reformed on his wrist. "A...Dirty trick..." Karaza gasped, spitting up water. Zone watched him, his eyes looking as dead as ever. Zone watched him as he tried to speak, and held the voice recorder out to Karaza, and played his cry of utter frustration. Karaza simply laughed. Zone pressed a few buttons, and pressed play again. This time, Karaza heard his own laughter intermingled with the woman's screams. "If I cared, I could turn this in to the authorities in the next town, couldn't I?" Zone smirked as he said this. In a sudden fit of anger, Karaza leapt at the recorder. Zone slid it behind his back. "I don't think so, my strange friend. Now, you must realize that coming with me isn't such a bad idea. Takajima will treat you kindly, just as he always did to me. He is a great man. He just wants to analyze you, and perhaps take a DNA sample. Does that really sound so bad?" Karaza thought for a moment, then quickly shook his head. "How can I trust a machine?" He said, and then they began exchanging blows again, this time Zone using more of his body weight in his punches. Zone then whispered to Karaza a vital message: "If you want me to free the woman you must first defeat me, and that will never happen."

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Karaza kicked off the ground and sent himself backwards. "I'm not going to lose. You may be able to copy me, but you're not me. If this Takajima fellow wants to study me, he should have just ordered you to kill me, because as long as I have air in my lungs, you won't be able to contain me." he informed Zone slowly as if to get the message across clearly.
Zone extended his claws and lunged towards Karaza. As he landed a hit to the stomach he whispered, "Karaza, I'm sorry you feel that way, because Immortal eye has ordered me to bring you in alive. If you do not come willingly, you will be brought in by force," he was cut off as Karaza's fist pierced straight through his stomach. " Karaza, had I been a human, that would have killed me." he smiled at Karaza's frustration as his metalic body slowly recreated itself. "Zone, I didn't want to do this, you didn't deserve it, but you've leave me no choice." he said as he whirled himself high into the air. Karaza then raised one hand over his head and Zone watched with a smile as the air above Karaza's hand began to twist and bulge. After a few seconds the ball had grown to the size of a small car and looked as if it was tearing the fabric of reality apart. Karaza continued, "Zone, this blast is made of my purest concentrated psi. Aimed at the right angle and with enough force, it could destroy a city. But watch," he said, and with a sudden click of his fingers, the ball shrank to the size of a marble. "It's now so highly concentrated, it will destroy anything it touches." Zone frowned, but didn't talk, he just stood silently, awaiting the blast. It took Karaza a second to prepare, he then aimed his hand at Zone, who braced himself. The ball then began to move ever so slowly towards Zone. He was relieved to see that the attack would be so easy to dodge, but soon realised otherwise. He squirmed uncontrolably to avoid the blast, but no matter how hard he tried, his feet seemed to be stuck to the ground. He realised almost instantly what was happening, and he needed to find away to break Karaza's telekinesis. "Well Zone, I guess this is where we say our fare wells. " said Karaza with relief in his voice, and as Zone stood stuck to the grassy field near the water's edge, a bead of sweat fell down his fore head and hit the ground below. His relief however, was short lived. His face saddened when the energy ball came close to Zone. At first it seemed successful, as it tore through his skin, but everything fell apart as it suddenly, but slowly made it's way into Zone's core The android stood up, now free from Karaza's telekinesis due to loss of concentration. "Karaza, you are a fool. I am an android, I gain energy from everything around me. The more energy you disperse, the more energy I gain. That psi blast was so powerful, that not only have you recharged me, but I'm two times as powerful as when we began fighting. Give in now, you stand no chance." the android taunted. Karaza frwoned, perhaps the android was right, but he refused to give in.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Zone watched the white-skinned target for a while, giving him a quick re-scan, this time going over his material possessions as well, making sure he had nothing else he could use against him. Before he could finish, Karaza flew at him, attempting a powerful slash with his lengthened nails. The nails collided into the mechanized human's chest, but at the same time, he gripped Karaza's hand, holding it with an iron grip. He slowly tore the nails out of his chest, squeezing Karaza's hand to a point of extreme pain. He then quickly swung Karaza by his arm, sending him slamming into the ground, hard. he was still able to stab the nails from his free arm into Karaza's leg, preventing him from being swung again. This only worked for a moment, as Zone's head twisted a 180 degree angle, and his right arm twisted as well, yanking Karaza off like some kind of giant clawing cat.
Zone followed up this by hurling the being into the dirt, causing him to slide as he hit the moist grass, which was still wet with dew. After he slid long enough, after losing most of his momentum, he was able to stop by stabbing his claws into the moist dirt. He stood to his feet, and stared at Zone, who was at this point, amused and slightly frustrated. He placed two fingers on an ear, which of course still looked like Karaza's. "Doctor....Doctor. Zone 001 reporting." A fain crackling, asian accented voice came in reply. "Yes? What is it, have you secured the subject?" "Well, he's already given me twice as much energy as needed...but I can't find his weakness...." "In that case....I was working on a device...let me get rid of a few bugs I was dealing with, and I'll warp it to you...It'll probably take a few hours." "Very good." Zone smiled, as Karaza looked at him with disgust. "You mean to tell me you would as go so far as to cheat to win this?" "Listen closely, Karaza. I am simply using my resources on hand to find a way to bring you to Takajima. I am impressed by your fighting skills, and I am sure that Takajima's experiments won't be painful. Take a chance, and join us. I promise that you won't be killed...as long as you willingly come with me. Perhaps he will even find a way to enhance your skills further. Also, if you come with me, I will free the woman. Think about it carefully."

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Karaza didn't budge, but thought for a second. "Fine, kill the girl. Her blood will be on your conscience, not mine." he replied to Zone's offer quite cold heartedly. Zone licked his lip for a second and then took a deep breath. He didn't seem to be joyed with Karaza's response, but he didn't speak. Suddenly, without warning, he flew at Karaza with both hands up, claws out. Karaza saw the attempt and braced his feet on the dirt below. He caught Zone's hands before he was able to strike and as Zone's feet hit the ground the two struggled for a while.
As Zone pushed Karaza backwards, away from himself, he jumped backwards to gain distance. "Karaza, I will not hesitate to kill the girl. She has done nothing wrong, but she will pay for your resistance unless you surrender immediately." Zone said to Karaza slowly, as if to give him time to think. However, Karaza did not take the time to think. He charged at Zone and dug his claws deep into Zone's stomach. Zone had seen this technique before and grabbed Karaza's hand which resided in his chest. Karaza saw his chance and raised his hand. He shot a ball of psi at Zone's head and to his surprise, the ball was not absorbed, but made contact with his left cheek, causing Zone to loosen his grip, thus allowing Karaza to set himself free. "I knew it," Karaza said as he brushed some hair out from his eyes. "You're only able to draw in energy when you choose to, it's not a automatic function. I know your weakness Zone, and I intend to use it against you." after hearing this, Zone looked Karaza over carefully, doing several scans and running several analyzations. He smiled for second and then threw himself at Karaza. Before he made it to him, he turned in the air and kicked Karaza in the stomach. "Perhaps you have discovered a weakness," he taunted as Karaza was sent flying backwards towards the water. "But the one thing that you don't seem to understand about me, is that I am able to eliminate my weaknesses. I am thus invincible. Give in Karaza, end this now." he managed to say before Karaza hit the water. As the cool water surrounded Karaza, he could vaguely see Zone standing above him on the other side of the water's mirror, and an idea came to him. OoC: Ack, I'm sorry it so short, but I'm just kind of tired tonight. My post'll be longer from here on in.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Zone looked down at Karaza, and smiled.
"Her death? On my conscience? How amusing. I have no conscience. I am above that human tendency that tells you what you believe is...right. The death won't be on my head, because I am a simple computer, and you had the opportunity to save her. I thought one such as you would realize that, after i kill her, I will give this recording of your laughter and her screams to the authorities, and you will be shot down, with my aid, of course." As Karaza faintly heard a distorted version of Zone's message, he was strategizing a most cunning plan. He looked downwards, to the lake's bottom. There was a strange type of coral-like substance growing down there. Karaza floated down to it, and used his psi powers to rip out a chunk of it, and causing it to separate into several pieces. The long clawed psion then stuck a piece of it on his arm, and it began to quickly tighten on his flesh. He had to use his psi powers to remove it, then looked up, and sent the many pieces to shoot up in wild angles, flying out of the water. Zone, unable to resist his chance to show off, leapt up to catch them. as he did this, Karaza sent a final piece at Zone's face, and it stuck on his eyes, a perfect shot. As the coral-material tightened on Zone's face, he gripped it, trying to tear it off but to no avail. Karaza then began to charge a gigantic amount of Psi energy, and compressed it into a marbe size. He was running out of Psi energy, so he would have to make this weaker shot count. He aimed it, and the water around him vibrated with tension. He fired it, and for a moment, the water around Karaza's blast separated, revealing him, and sending two dual waves off in opposite directions. The energy zoomed at the android, and as he struggled against the coral, his movement stiffened. The Psi blast flew at his head, meaning to destroy. In a sudden flash, a metallic figure appeared in front of Zone, ripping off the coral with a metal claw. After he did this, Zone watched as the machine tossed him a tiny, metallic, flat square object with tough ridges on the sides. An upgrade chip... Zone grabbed the chip, and placed it in the recovering wound in his own chest, in a tiny slot. A loud click resounded as Zone broke free of the psi energy's control, as he used a burst of negative electromagnetic polarity to drive himself into the dirt, deep enough to dodge the attack. The blue bot that had appeared to help him, however, was hit with a force that caused it's body to literally collapse, and it's parts were scattered everywhere. Zone then burst from the dirt beneath Karaza, grabbing him by the leg and hurling him into the base of an old oak. "You fool...with this upgrade, and being twice as powerful as I was when this batttle started, there is no hope. Observe." As he said this, Zone took his original form, his synthetic pupils enlarging greatly, small metal kick-stand like pieces of metal stabbed into the rich earth, and a huge bulge came out of Zone's left shoulder, taking the form of a long, chrome cannon with two barrels that lay vertically on top of each other. Then, the smaller barrel sent a lightning fast red beam which hit every part of Karaza, including his possessions. A small red hologram appeared in front of Zone's eyes, and he smiled as he read. "So...that's his weakness....pity it's so simple. I was hoping it would be something more difficult." He murmured. He then looked to Karaza, and studied the look he held, which was that of a guilty individual. Zone placed one hand on the bottom of the cannon, the other on his hip. "Karaza, meet the debilitator. Takajima's newest upgrade to the perfect arsenal, myself. Also, this addition to my regenerating repretoire is only the first. It uses one beam to completely scan you, and the other to incapacitate or fry you. Next upgrade it has, It is also be able to give temporary weaknesses. Give up or perish."

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Karaza looked at the debilitator slowly and laughed. "Zone. I'm not scared of that thing. I've decided that I'm not giving up. Go ahead, use that thing, you won't win." he said to Zone, completely assured of his words. Zone however, did not believe what Karaza was speaking.
Zone walked in a circle pattern until he was directly in front of Karaza. "How can you be so sure. The odds are highly stacked in my favor. If you ask me, that info processing unit you call a brain is defunctional." as Zone said this Karaza flew at him and connected his fist with Zone's face. However, as he landed before Zone on the dirt of the ground, he saw that it had no effect on Zone. Zone spoke slowly and clearly, "Karaza, are you blind to what is truly happening. You are weak. You are scared of those emotions that you can't control. Being an android has its advantages. You are now too weak to damage me, and it's because you are hiding your emotions, and they are what supply your power. Just like my power core. However, you are too scared to tap into your power, and that is what sets us apart." as he said this Karaza grew angry. "Because I'm hiding my emotions huh?" suddenly the air around Karaza started moving furiously and his muscles started tightening and swelling. As his eyes grew completely white, Zone heard him speak in a deep voice, "Well guess what. I'm no longer hiding them!!!" and as he spoke Zone had to brace himself so that he did blow away from the immense wind that was coming from Karaza's body. "I don't understand it. A second ago, he was weak. Now, my scanners show he is back to where he was when we started and rising. This doesn't compute, it doesn't make sense." thought Zone to himself, now beggining to get frustrated. Zone watched as Karaza started moving slowly towards him, with each step leaving a large foot print in the dirt. As Karaza got closer, Zone could feel the wind growing much stronger. "That's it Karaza, wear yourself down. You'r still no where near my power level and eventually your power will begin dropping." Zone said aloud, even though he did not fully believe his own words. As a bead of sweat fell down his fore head, Zone aimed the debilitator at Karaza and prepared to fire... OoC: Again, I'm sorry it's so short. I'm kind of busy lately and I don't really unerstand the debiliatator, so I'm hoping your next post will help me out.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
OoC-
Now I understand why Takajima wanted him... Zone processed as he watched his opponent get closer and closer. This can only work three times a day, so I need to really conserve debilitating shots...I'll have to use normal shots until he's open...but how will I do that? "Alright, if you truly think this new power of yours will save you...THEN PREPARE TO BE A CADAVER! I DON'T THINK TAKAJIMA WILL MIND THAT MUCH!" The pieces of magnetized metal that dropped out of the debilitator were used to keep Zone grounded, so the fierce wind wasn't able to push him back, as now they were securing his position. He aimed the debilitator's main cannon, and yelled: "Average blasting shot!" A fierce blast of energy flew at Karaza, hitting him in the stomach. The force was enormous, and it took an exceedingly long time to make contact, because the strong wind around the mysterious life form was trying to push it back, thus weakening the force of it as it collided. When it hit, Karaza's flesh was still badly burned. He was still too overcome with emotions now, so he continued towards Zone without stopping. Damn... that blast would have blown a hole 5 inches deep in a human's chest...If he wasn't so powered up right now...he might have been dead. Karaza briefly looked at the wound on his stomach, and continued walking. He was now 5 feet from the now-desperate android. I can’t…let him defeat me. The doctor would be furious… He then aimed the cannon a second time. He looked, and noticed that Karaza had left himself open, as he was overcome with raging feelings. “Debilitating first shot!” This was followed by a beam of strange light that flew directly at Karaza, and he felt his flesh become colder. He looked, and saw his skin had taken an icy shade. “And your weakness is now…” A flaming sphere of energy struck Karaza, and sent him flying backwards. The powerful blast was twice as painful when it hit, because Karaza’s body had temporarily of the ice element. His skin was normal now, but he was still seriously injured. As he slowly redeveloped his painfully wounded chest, he heard a loud whirring, and felt dread. Five more cries of average shot hit him where he lay, knocking him several more feet. “Hahahahaha….My new toy is perfect.” The android mused as he looked at the wounded being.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
OoC: OK, I'm going to try and post more often. Uh, you may or may not know, but my second character, Khana, has just been approved. If you desire, in your next post you could bring Vector in, and then in my next post we could turn the thing into a 2 vs 2. Anyway, just a thought.
BiC: "Argh! Damn it! What was that?" Karaza shouted to Zone angrily as the wind slowly began picking up across the orange dimly lit sky. Grass waved gently as waves started forming on the surface of the lake. Zone walked slowly towards Karaza, still clutching the debilitator firmly. Every step the android took laid a soft print in the smooth grass below his feet. Karaza breathed heavily and watched Zone as he approached. It was as Zone had said, Karaza was now losing energy, which only got worse with every breath. Zone stopped a small distance away from Karaza as to not be attacked. “Karaza, your feeble attempts are starting to irritate me. I may kill you just for the fun of it and take the blame when I get back to headquarters.” Zone laughed eerily and walked backwards slowly, swinging his shoulders broadly as he went. He had a smile on his face, but he did not look happy, he looked menacing. Karaza took a look at the lake at his side and then behind him at the forest. “I won’t die. And you sure as hell aren’t going to kill me. Let’s say however, that you did take me to this guy that wishes to study me. What makes you think he could contain me?” Asked Karaza to Zone seemingly without emotion behind the question. Zone didn’t answer but kept moving backwards, he seemed to be planning something. “Karaza, you have no idea what kind of enemy you have formed in Immortal Eye. We have technology that would make your inferior processing unit spin. They would have no problem containing you, after all, you are an inferior being, and shall always remain so.” Zone talked with confidence, but Karaza didn’t flinch. He merely stood there, with a fire burning in his eyes and a will to win buzzing in his head. “Zone, you’re not very open minded are you? What makes you think I can’t grow stronger?” Karaza said as he charged and fired a psi blast. “Perhaps you’ll never learn!” he shouted as the ball made contact after he fired at Zone. The small ball hit him in the chest and charred his white skin. Zone looked down at his burnt black shirt and charred white skin. He ran his finger slowly over the mark and frowned. He looked back up at Karaza and the setting sun behind him made the air around Karaza seem wavy. Zone appeared angered in some way. “Karaza, give in. You have no power left and obviously can’t continue our little brawl. Now give in.” and for the first time in the battle, Karaza thought Zone was starting to make sense. He could feel that he was indeed almost out of energy, and as the heat of the sun on his back died, so did his hopes of winning the battle, or at least in his mind. But he wouldn’t let himself give in as long he could hold on.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
OoC: Are you sure you want Vector to get involved? Fighting him won't be easy, not at all...but it sounds like the perfect time to test him out.
BiC: Zone silently watched Karaza until the sun went down, a malevolent grin still on his face. Shadows crept across the clearing as Zone uttered a chuckle. Karaza, puzzlingly watched him. "I think you're short-circuiting, android. Laughing for no reason shows insanity in most races." "Oh, heheh, forgive me, strange one. It seems I just received a message from a new addition to the family, a present from Takajima, who was just now released from testing...Little brother? Are you functioning properly? What is your location?" A glowing ring of yellow energy formed in front of Zone, and a short figure appeared in the center. His spiky hair, which was of multiple shades of blue. The strange outfit that he wore seemed extremely futuristic, and his eyes looked sad, yet he was smiling. He wore a belt like Zone's and his shirt was a strange design that covered half of his chest, and his pants were baggy. "Big Brother....need a hand with the subject?" "Actually, he's about to be neutralized, but you could use the experience. Have fun." The green-haired android in the jacket lifted off of the ground, and flew back, landing on a large boulder. Zone idly played with his odd hair while he waited for the fight to begin. A single bird chirped as Vector glimpsed at his opponent, not looking like he was ready for a scuffle. Karaza was really worried at this point. He was determined to win, and his energy was draining, yet he now had to face a fully powered android. he remained calm, regardless. "So, you're his brother?" "You could say that. I'm Vector, herald of your destiny." Vector shuffled towards him, with his head down. Karaza extended his claws, waiting for the android to attack. The newly created machine responded by giving him a quick look over. Vector then grasped it's own arm tightly, sliding back a portion of his skin. Karaza watched warily as the android withrew a gun. "A special version of a Magnum Revolver, this adamantine protype developed by the good doctor can shoot a bullet with enough force to penetrate your head with a tiny hole, and cause your entire brain, along with the back half of your head, to splatter. After that, the back half of the bullet would break off and detonate, blowing up the reamins of your body, while the other half would release a stream of deadly nerve gas. If anyone besides me or Zone touches the gun itself, by sensing heat temperature from a living thing, it would send a hook out from the butt, to stab into your arm, then generate enough electrical power to turn your limb alone into smoking ash. It's name is LaFayette." Vector chuckled like a little kid as he spun the gun on his finger, it's sleek design barely visible due to the beginning of nightfall. It had an intricate design of shapes, some that resembled screaming faces, others that resembled flowers. He aimed the weapon at Karaza, and the gaping hole at the end of the barrel seemed to mock him. "An advantage of being a creation of man is being able to shoot better than one. Give up or i'll take off your head." Zone watched eagerly as his little brother pulled back on the lever, pulling the bullet into place. Karaza sensed that Vector's intense grip on the gun was too strong to be broken, and this worsened his chances of getting rid of it. "Hehe, this one deserves to die. Insolence should result in termination...but the doctor wouldn't like it...I'm sure you'll see it my way, Karaza." It's a pity I didn't get to fully try out my debilitator Zone thought as he sat, listening to Vector's lecture.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Karaza used the control he still had over his eyes to stare at the weapon in Vector’s hands. “I’m not scared of that gun. I’ve been shot in the head before, it doesn’t hurt. You’ve scanned me haven’t you? Well, then you’re either an idiot or bluffing. My bones are too strong to be penetrated by that toy of yours.” Karaza spoke courageously as Vector aimed the gun at his head. However, as Karaza could hear the trigger being pulled, Vector’s hand shifted. Karaza coughed up a mouth full of silver blood as the bullet quickly pierced his chest. As he grasped his chest quickly, Karaza was knocked off his feet as the bullet of the gun exploded behind him. As he hit the dirt of the lakeside, he heard Vector reload his weapon.
Vector moved closer to Karaza and pointed the gun at his outstretched back. “You’re lucky,” he said as hid blue hair was gently brushed in the night’s breeze. “That should’ve killed you. Stand up and fight, or give in. Your choice.” the android taunted. Karaza looked up at him, and for a moment, lost all will to live. However, he heard something that snapped him back into reality. “Karaza, Karaza,” came a soft voice from the forest. “Karaza, where are you? I think I’m lost.” the voice came again. Karaza started breathing heavily as he looked up at the android, who’s attention was now focused on the voice coming from the forest. Without hesitation Karaza threw himself off the ground using his hands and kicked Vector in the face. As the android fell to his back, Karaza used the last of his stored energy to accelerate and run into the forest. As he arrived he saw a woman wearing a black T-shirt and jeans searching around in the dark. Her long dark brown hair was almost invisible in the darkness of the night. A smile found it way onto her face as she saw Karaza. “Karaza, I’ve found you,” she ran over to him but he fell gently onto her shoulder, almost lifeless. “Karaza, what’s happened to you? Are you going to be ok?” she asked as Karaza breathed heavily. He looked up at her softly and smiled, he then glanced back at the lakeside clearing, Vector was regaining his lost balance. Karaza words were quick and rough, “Khana, there are two androids at the lakeside. They want to study me. Which means they also want to study you, but I don’t think they’re aware of your existence. I tried to fight, but they were too powerful,” he paused and looked back at Vector who was now slowly walking towards the forest. “Khana, run. They don’t know about you so they won’t follow. GO!” he screamed at her. However, Khana didn’t turn around, she laid Karaza against a tree. “Karaza, I’ll fight them. If they’re after you, they have to get through me.” She said as she looked at Karaza kindly. He frowned to show his disapproval, but couldn’t help but feel happy that Khana was showing the bonds of their friendship. As Karaza closed his eyes, Khana started walking towards Vector. As she exited the cover of the forest, she could see a small look of amusement on not only Vector’s face, but Zone’s as well. Vector looked at Khana slowly from top to bottom. “You are of the same race as Karaza. Zone,” he called to his older brother. “Do you think that there could be an entire population of these strange creatures?” Zone shrugged his shoulders. He looked at Khana and then back at Vector. Zone raised his hands to show confusion. “I don’t know. If you ask me I’d say Karaza had used some sort of device to change his gender whilst he was in the forest. Seems highly unethical though.” he said, still sounding quite confused. Khana looked at the two and then back at the trees. She was worried for Karaza, that he would be harmed in his sleep. But she did not let her worry for Karaza stand in the way of her objective, to protect him. Khana walked to about five feet away from Vector and looked him in the face. “Karaza’s resting. He won’t be able to come out and play right now, but that’s ok, you can fight me until he’s all better.” she said in a playful manner. Vector stared at his new opponent, still clutching LaFayette. OoC: Hope that’s ok for you. Now we’re both fully recharged. It’s like a whole new battle.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
(Try not to use the minigun. I’m saving it.)
Zone chuckled amusedly at Khana from a distance, while his younger brother aimed his firearm at her. Vector smiled as she prepared to fight. “So, you’ll die to protect a single member of your species?” The shorter of the androids asked innocently. She nodded, and her nails extended slowly as she took a fighting stance. “Such a shame. Fortunately, you aren’t a required specimen, but if you wish to die, we weren’t required to let you live, so I won’t hesitate to kill you.” The child-like machine tossed its weapon into the air, and the older’s magnetic barrier forced it into his hand. Zone looked it over, grinning at its technological magnificance. He then loosely gripped it in his palm, and leaned over on the stone to watch the fight. Vector slipped open a metallic storage area in his leg, withdrawing two grenades that looked identical. He then flipped them in the air, and caught them. “These grenades were designed to look so similar, only a machine could differentiate them. One of them is lethal, the other is a mere smoke grenade.” He muttered as he juggled them. “You really are conceited things, aren’t you?” “When we want to toy around with weaklings, that is.” “Heh. So, all androids are bastards?” “I would watch what you say, female. I could take your head off right now.” Zone called from atop the rock. “So, why don’t you?” “Vector is being trained.” “Yes, and I’m getting impatient, brother.” Vector tossed one of the grenades at Khana, and she used her psi-powers to knock it back at Vector. It exploded, and smoke clouded around him. “I knew you might do something like that…” The blue-haired robot threw the other grenade, and Khana used her psi powers to knock it back, but it exploded prematurely, surprising her and breaking her psi barrier, throwing her backwards. She landed on her hands, and flipped back onto her feet. Vector’s boots boosted him at her, and he threw a punch that hit her squarely in the chest. She then slashed at his shoulder with her claws, causing a small scratch. “I’m a little tougher to penetrate than that, you’ll need to strike harder.” He said as he did a backflip, withdrawing a blowtorch from his arsenal compartments. After quickly assembling it, he pulled the trigger, and a small flame frose from it. He looked at the flame for a while, as if entranced. “This weapon has a second function…a flamethrower!” He pulled another lever, aiming the weapon at her, and a burning stream of flame branched out at her, and set several trees ablaze. Karaza was lying at the base of one of these trees, and a flaming limb was hanging warily above him, ready to crush him at any moment. In a moment of desperation, Khana sent a psi blast in that direction knocking down the trees around Karaza, completely uprooting them. Karaza was saved in this moment, but a smal bit of flame caught Khana’s clothing, and she struggled to put it out.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
As Khana brushed her black shirt quickly to put out the flames that threatened her, she looked up at the trees and horror struck her. The flame from Vector’s attack had begun spreading, and more tress were caught in the path of the ever moving fire. Khana looked at the android, who was now at the entrance of forest, and then back at Karaza, who was still unconscious and temporarily out of harm. Vector, still clutching his flame thrower stopped his slow pace as he walked into the cover of the trees and onto the soft dirt path. He looked at Khana emotionlessly as she looked around at the treetops, which were becoming more engulfed in flame every second. Khana looked desperately once more at Karaza and began running swiftly towards Vector. As she reached him and was only three feet in front of him, Vector swung his foot to attack her, but Khana jumped and used his leg as a push-off, thus sending herself over the android’s head and out of the forest.
Vector turned around quickly to see Khana continue running. “So, you’d let you companion die in a fiery inferno? My, my, that’s awfully cold hearted for a being with emotions, don’t you think? Oh well, As long as we have you, Takajima won’t care if he dies.” Vector smiled and continued to walk after her. As she heard his foot steps getting closer, Khana turned around to see that Vector was almost caught up to her and that the forest had become one giant fire that lit up the darkness of night. She gulped and as she turned around quickly to face the lake, her shoes cut through blades of grass. She raised her hands and it appeared that she was lifting some sort of immense, non-existent weight. As she continued this motion, breathing heavily, a small smiled found it’s way onto Khana’s face. As if by magic, a large amount of water from the lake began to rise out of the body of water in the shape of a sphere. After the ball of water was completely free of the lake, Khana turned back around and moved her hands as if to throw the invisible weight. Vector turned his head towards the forest as the large sphere or water flew over his head and crashed into the forest, thus extinguishing the fire. As Khana breathed very heavily, she fell to her knees onto the soft, moist grass. Vector began walking slowly again in her direction, now holding a small gun like object. “Heh heh, you’ve already lost this fight and it’s just begun,” he said as he aimed the small weapon towards Khana, who was now on her knees, holding herself up with one arm. “This is a taser. It’ll electrocute you with more than enough energy to knock you out. I’ll then take you to Takajima and you’ll become a lab rat. A suiting fate for such an insignificant being, don’t you think?” taunted the android. Khana looked up and saw the androids face against the dark blue sky and frowned, however, before she lowered her head to look at the grass, she smiled at Vector. As Vector shoved away a look of confusion from his face, Zone, now back in his own form, stood up quickly but didn’t have time to speak. “DON’T TOUCH HER!” and as the voice rang throughout the surroundings, Vector felt something pierce his chest. Vector looked down to see that a white hand had cut through his metallic body. Before he could react, Khana jumped up and dashed backwards, along the lakeside. As Vector felt the white hand in his chest draw back, he swung his arm around and hit the already wounded Karaza in the face, sending him flying backwards several feet towards the forest. Khana ran quickly over to Karaza, who lay tattered on the ground, and put his head on her shoulders. Khana looked back at Vector, who was now watching the wound in his chest slowly regenerate. “Karaza, you didn’t have to do that,” as she spoke Karaza, seemingly more aware than earlier, smiled. “You need to rest. I’ll fight Vector until you regain your strength and then we’ll escape together.” Karaza shook his head and struggled to stand up. Khana helped him up by putting his head under her shoulder. As the wind blew slowly by in the night’s darkness, Vector began walking towards the two. Karaza walked ahead of Khana a few steps and extended his claws. “No Khana, I’ll fight with you. We’re not running, we’ll fight... together,” he leant over to Khana so Vector would be unable to hear. “Khana, should something happen that I am unable to protect you, kill me and run,” Karaza could see that Khana was shocked. “Khana, if they can’t have you, they need me alive. If we can’t win, kill me and run, don’t argue.” Khana looked at Karaza with large, unbelieving eyes as he walked towards Vector, who was now standing side by side with Zone. Karaza and Khana prepared to battle both of the deadly androids. OoC: Ok, sorry it took so long for me to reply. I guess this means that we’re going to have a 2 vs. 2 battle. Hope that’s ok.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
Vector simply stared at the others as Zone slid over to him, placing a hand on the damged area that Karaza had sank his claws into. He worked quickly, moving a single hand at awesome speed, and in 20 seconds, Zone moved, and Vector's wound was completely sealed off, including the wires inside, which had been reconnected. Karaza was impressed, and was curious as how the android fixed the wound, when he realized that the machine was missing small chunks from it's hand, which were slowly regrowing. Vector then turned to Karaza and Khana, giving them an aggravated look. Zone then decided to speak.
"You two really should just give up...or resist...either way, we'll get what we want, no matter how long it takes. It doesn't take a whole human's processing capacity to learn how that's possible. Even if you got away somehow." Zone then thrust his hand forward, apparently as a gesture of violence. Vector grinned as he decided to give some commentary. "Why do you resist what is inevitable? You creatures are hopeless. We'll put IN A GOOD WORD FOR YOU!" Vector hurled a barrage of small black objects at the two, and they leapt in opposite directions to dodge them. "Bang." The small things, which were now apparently remote mines, exploded just as he said this, sending dust and rocks everywhere. As the dust clouded their vision, Zone aimed the weapon. "Exploding second shot!" A huge blast fired at their general direction from the debilitator, causing a huge explosion in the swirling dust. Then Vector quickly withdrew and assembled his crossbow, sending several poison arrows into the swirling mass in lightning fast succession. When the smoke cleared, two arrows were broken and laying on the ground, and the two creatures were standing, Karaza leaning on Khana's shoulder, who looked an noticed an arrow sticking out of her leg. She looked in Vector's direction, hitting him with a powerful blast of psychic energy, knocking him backwards. As the poison oozed into her bloodstream, Karaza noticed the arrow's tail as he leaned, and yanked it out of her. he then sank down, and began trying to suck the poison out of her wound. He failed to get any, and angrily looked at the two machines...only there was one standing there. The two felt the force of two fists hitting them in their backs, knocking them to the ground. Zone laughed as he stood near them, who were struggling to get up from his attack as he took the form of Khana, extending his/her nails, spinning in a circle, slashing Khana's back and Karaza's arm as they stood, and flipping backward as they prepared to attack him. He then looked at his newest replication, studying its entirety. "So...the opposite sex. Karaza likes this girl, I can tell." he said as he moved his arms, which now looked like Khana's. "I hope you have the decency to not hit a girl, Karaza." Zone mocked as he spun around, like someone trying on a new costume. As Karaza was distracted by Zone, the shorter android fired his taser at Khana. It hit her in the back, and jolted her without prejudice. Karaza quickly yanked the cord's stabbing point out of her, and it began to shock him. He tried to let go, but the electric current was very strong. Zone then leapt at Khana, who was more than creeped out at his impersonation of her. They traded a few slashed, and jumped into the air, punching at each other, one propelled by magnetic force, the other by powers of the mind. Karaza finally was able to yank free of the taser, still in pain from it's electrical power. He charged at Vector, who aimed an arrow at him. Karaza ducked and gripped the arrow in midflight. he then snapped it in half and showed the pieces to Vector. Vector shook his head, and the arrow's tip exploded in his hands. Zone got slashed powerfully by Khana, right across the chest, then was pummeled in the face several times. he responded by kicking her into the air, and then rising up to meet her.

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
As Zone caught up with Khana in the air, he raised his hands above him and shoved them downwards. As they moved very quickly they made contact with Khana’s outstretched back and she was sent flying downwards into the soft dirt below. As Khana stood up she saw that her counterpart was no longer in the air, but he was in front of the lake. His details couldn’t be properly distinguished in the dim light of the early morning, but Khana’s eyes were powerful enough to tell her that Zone resembled her almost exactly, the only difference being their eyes. Khana’s eyes were pure, filled with innocence, but those of Zone were unable to show such signs of emotion.
“Why are you doing this?” Khana asked as she stood up slowly. “Why couldn’t you have just asked us for a piece of hair or something?” as she spoke a small stream of thick, silver blood could be seen running down Khana’s lip. As she stood up completely she stumbled for a second and appeared as if she was going to fall over, but she regained her balance before she did so. Zone looked at her and then down at his own hands. His claws were almost the same as Khana’s but they were made of a metal that was almost the same colour as Khana’s blood. He lowered his hands slowly and threw his long black hair over his shoulders. He appeared to be about to speak when he saw Vector flying towards him. He had to step backwards swiftly to avoid getting hit by his cybernetic sibling. Zone forgot what he was going to say and turned to Vector. “What are you doing? You should have detained the subject by now. Move more quickly or Takajima will be upset.” he said sternly as he turned back to Khana, who he himself now resembled. He lengthened his claws and shot himself quickly towards her using magnetic force. As he approached quickly Khana let out a small shriek and used her arms to make an X formation. Unfortunately for her, Zone’s claws didn’t hit where she had expected and she gulped as she felt cold metal pierce her stomach. As he withdrew his blood ridden hand, Zone jumped backwards and looked at Karaza, who was slowly making his way towards Vector. Vector looked over at Zone, who’s hand was now black and making smoke and frowned. “Don’t lecture me. You are not my superior due to your age. If anything you should refer to me as your superior,” as he spoke Zone grunted and looked at Khana, who was now on her knees in pain. Vector looked at the approaching threat. “The male... Karaza, he is much more of a challenge than that female you imitate is. His aggression levels are abnormally high and he doesn’t seem to feel pain...” before he could continue he had to move backwards to avoid Karaza foot, which now had a blade coming out the front and back of it. He was surprised to see that he had no where left to run. His feet were pressed against the dirt of the side of the lake, any further and he would be in water. Karaza shot a psi blast at the android which was easily dodged and then turned to Khana, who was bleeding severely near the forest opening. “Khana, breath deeply, it helps the regeneration process. I’ll fend them both off until you can get back on your feet. But for the love of heaven, do it quickly.” he briefed Khana quickly as he moved towards the lake bound Vector whilst keeping an eye on Khana’s counterpart. Khana nodded but a grimace hit her face as she grasped he stomach in pain. As Karaza moved ever closer, Vector, now unable to move backwards, threw some small pill-like objects. Karaza watched as the things hit the grass below his feet and Vector pressed a small button on a remote which he had drawn at the same time as the small objects. The small explosives detonated with very little time and caused smoke to rise around Karaza, thus cutting off his line of sight for a brief period of time. As the dust cleared, Karaza turned at hearing Zone’s voice only to see both androids standing together, “Karaza, you can’t hope to defeat us both,” Zone suddenly started glowing brightly, when the light faded he was back in his original form. “Separated we are devastating, together, we are unstoppable.” Karaza started walking towards the androids slowly as Khana continued to hold her stomach in pain as it slowly healed itself. Blue, green and black hair danced in the wind as the dim light of early morning was pierced by the beautiful sunrise. OoC: Is it just me or am I losing this fight ? Anyway, I'm sorry it took me so long and I'm also sorry if my posts seem to be getting shorter. It's the laziness of summer, I'm positive. |

Re: The water's edge (Anyone)
The two androids shared a confident, battle-ready grin as they stood side by side, and quite humorously, they were arguing through their teeth, not audible to Karaza.
“You, the superior? Vector, you can’t even repair yourself, and yet you think you are better than the one who you were created to repair? If I had the capability to laugh like those ridiculous men who work back at I.E. Labs, I’d be doing it right now.” “Silence, brother. Who has the greater firepower, eh?” “Because you have to use all those toys to fight your battles? That doesn’t make you that powerful. If they were all taken away, you’d be helpless to our subjects’ claws and mind tricks. That’s why you were designed, to support me in battle. So, like I said earlier, together, we are unstoppable. Let’s just get this over with.” Zone used magnetic polarity to push himself forward, and glowed as his shoes slid on the dirt, his arms outstretching as he quickly approached the target. Karaza prepared for the attack, his claws growing out even farther than usual. The green haired android grinned hollowly as Karaza swung his sharp claws at his enemy, and then he noticed something. Zone confidently gripped one of Karaza’s long claws, gripping his wrist with the other hand, and twisting it behind his back. Karaza struggled, and Zone was increasing pressure on the claws, the one on his thumb being the primary focus. His overpowering, cold, metal grip tightened until…one half of the claw snapped off in the android’s hand, and he quickly tossed it to Vector, who caught it like a car key, placing it in his strongest, most protected compartment. Karaza was disbelieving at this point. His claws were nearly unbreakable, and this machine was able to snap it off just like that. He was now short one claw for a while, and this was enough to anger him. Khana was also in awe, as she had seen the robot when he snapped it as well. He angrily sent a blast of weak telekinesis that he had been able to save up at Zone, knocking him backward. Khana had used the same attack shortly after, increasing the power of the awesome attack. His eerily perfect, yet uneven green hair shimmered as he slammed into a tree. Vector glanced back at his brother, who took a moment to stand up on the tree’s longest limb. “I sensed two inferior processing units in that attack. However, since we were able to get a sample of your DNA, I suppose we could let you go…but I’m sure the doc’ doesn’t want to go through the effort of replication…” Vecot looked at his sibling, in slight irritation. “Doc is a slang word, brother…why must you sink to human levels?” “Excuse me, but living two years with them has affected my speech program to include new data.” “I think your data has been corrupted…” Vector murmured under his breath as he stared at the almost healed Khana and minorly handicapped Karaza. What interest could the doctor have in creatures like these? He thought. “I heard you say that, inferior one.” “Just be quiet and ask our creator.” Zone opened his mouth, and the old Japanese man began to speak through faint static. “Capture the subjects, my wonderful creations?” “Well, we are having difficulty with them…but we have a DNA sample.” “Of what body part?” “A part of one of their extending claws.” “I see…well, that should suffice. Warp it to me, and come back to the lab when you want…don’t take all day, my children.” The blue-haired artificial human placed the sample in a small container from one of his many compartments, and set it on his belt, and it vanished in a flicker. Karaza and Khana both had looks of relief of their faces, and they hugged each other. Zone raised an eyebrow, while Vector crossed his arms. “What do you think these odd creatures are doing, Vector?” “I’m not sure. Thank goodness the doctor said we could come back when we want.” A few minutes of standing there, Zone attempted a human sigh. “Haaaaa…Yeah…I hate to admit it, but I’m bored.” “I have an idea. Let’s play a game that humans know…the game is called…tag.” Vector humorously stated. “How do we play, brother?” Zone inquired, grinning. Vector opened his chest, withdrawing a circular, thick metal disc covered with holes on the top end. He pressed a button on the side, and the disc extended into a cylinder, attaching an extra part on the back with grips and a long trigger. He then revealed a very long, wrapped up strip of ammunition, which he stuck in the side. Another press of a button locked in the parts, and the minigun was now ready for use. Zone now was looking the closest thing to happiness that he could get. The corners of his mouth were slightly raised to a tiny degree. His younger partner then nodded to him. Zone smiled as he walked behind Vector, opening up his back and withdrawing a few parts, assembling…a small rocket launcher. “We touch them…with these. If they can escape, then we let them live…” Zone knew where this was going, and finished the sentence. “…If not, they will be destroyed.” Karaza was infuriated upon hearing these words, his relief diminishing into cold fear…but then he realized, he could accelerate his molecules, as could his female counterpart. He turned to tell her, but a yell from an android and a blast of the debilitator hit them first, and that ability was now gone, and would be gone for at least 12 hours. “Run.We’ll give you a headstart.” The powerful duo commanded in unison. OoC: Now, we’ll be getting to the end, soon. PM me if you wanna talk about the DNA and the replicant for a future fight.
