A battle that is not a battle

OoC: Guys, this is going to be a bit different to other fights. Three other people can join in this (You can use more then one character if you wish, but I'm restricting the number to two maximum) and guess what, we're... sorta fighting!

if you've played Golden Sun, you'll know where I'm going. basically, we have one-on-one fights. You start at either end of a labyrinth full of... despair... and have to get to the center. When both players reach the centre, you duke it out. Last one standing wins! We've got a bronze, Silver and Gold cup, plus a medal for the one who can perform their attacks with the most style. So everyone's a winner, possibly!

I'm also intrducing a character who is not going to be fighting but will be acting as referee.

BiC:

The crowd cheered to the strutting mechanical thign walking down the centre of the colosseum.

"It is time for the Universal Challenge!" cried Reboot
The stands roared.
"Now, introducing our first challenger, rom a temple in a distant jungle, SU-NINA!"cried the bot.
Su-Nina walked through the Interdimensional Gate to a thunderous round of applause.
"And now," began Reboot, "INTRODUCING..."

OoC: Que you guys

Ooc:Woah, first a dungeon, then a battle. This could get interesting...

Bic:"Introducing, Kodure!" shouted the robot. "Kodure is a skilled warrior who came here all the way from the world of Hyrule!" the bot informed the crowd. The crowds started to cheer for their faw away contestant. "Now, we have a few more incredibley powerful contestants that are entering the arena..." said Reboot. "And here they are now, introducing..."

Ooc:I hope i didn't mess it up, but here's the next person's cue. Kodure's link is in the sigg.

OoC:

BiC:
"Now introducing... the man with the firrey spirit, Napaj Cyrod! He comes from meager beginings as a farmer, but is an angel... LITERALLY!" the bot exclaimed. The crowed cheered yet again.

"Next we have..."

OoC: You guys are doing great, I'm not posting again though until we have the fourth contestant, then I'll randomly select who goes against who. Although there is one thing, where's the link to Kadore's profile?

Also, what I may have forgotten to mention is that you won't be starting with your usual weapons and armour. When you get to the centre of the labyrinth, where the fight takes place, you'll find two weapons, which can be swapped for a preferred type of weapon (for example, if you prefer an axe and end up with a rapier, the weapon will automatically switch to that weapon).

IC: "Introducing Myles!" yelled Reboot. "He is a thirteen year old Hylain who can kill all with his sword. Time for this thing to start!"

"Never done anyting like this before." said Myles to himself.
"Well than good luck young one." said Napag.

OoC: I wasn't actually expecting to get four people playing! Cool!

BiC: "Now," announced Reboot, "these four challenger will have to go through certain DEATH in order to reach the centre of the labyrinth! In the centre of this labyrinth, they will both find a weapon, they are allowed to pick up one, and only one, in order to beat their opponents!"
The crowd roared whilst the four warriors took a moment to grasp this.
"Let's decide the first contestants!" yelled the bot.
A roulette appeared, with four different colours, representing each character:
Blue - Kodure
Yellow - Myles
Red - Su-Nina
Green - Napaj

"The first contestants are..." began the bot.
The roulette began spinning. The colours each lighting as the arrow pointed at them.
Eventually, the arrow stopped, and another one spun. When they both stopped, they were pointing...

"GREEN AND YELLOW! It is NAPAJ AND MYLES!" roared Reboot.

The crowd cheered as the warriors turned to each other.
"Good luck," said Myles.
"May the best man win," muttered Napaj.

They stood at opposite ends of the labyrinth...
"For Myles, the labyrinth is water based! He will have to build a bridge from the easily breakable trees inside the labyrinth and maks his way across. Although the water is also full of ravenous Sharpedo! For Napaj, he will simply have a Labyrinth to solve! But no ordinary labyrinth, as we're sending in our Labyrinth Tanks and the Gate Guardian!"

Myles gulped and Napaj got ready.

"Ready... Set... GO!" roared Reboot.

OoC: If you don't know what Labyrinth tanks are, or what the Gate Guardian is, do a search on Google Images. And you don't have to do PRECSELY what Reboot says, try to come up with your own ways of doing it, and Sharpedo are Pokemon, OK? I just like video-game labyrinths. And, even better, I'm basing all the labyrinths on each character's weakness. So this should be tough. You can have your character's weapon at the centre of the labyrinth, but no fighting until BOTH pick up their weapons, it is supposed to be a competition after all.

OOC: Myles has no specific weakness but okay.
IC: Myles began kicking down all the trees around him. He finally made one bridge.
"Time to cross." said Myles.
All of the sudden a sharpedo came and attacked Myles.
"Sharpedo" said the sharpedo.
Myles quickyl jumped to the other end and whan the sharpedo came to attack he flipped it onto the land area.
"That was easy said Myles.
Than seeing all of the other bridges he had to make regreeted making that coment.

"Man I wish I had a weopon" said Myles. "... wait a minute. He than jumped up to the top of one of the trees and scaled it looking for a good stick. He found a thick stick and jumped back down. He thn began smashing all the trees he saw.

OoC:
Uh... a couple of Yu-gi-oh characters. Meh, it'll work. I don't quite understand how they are based on my character's weaknesses, unless they have dark magic. I will assume that.

BiC:
"This is going to be... interesting." Napaj said to himself. He didn't care if the kid beat him there because he could use any weapon they throw at him. Napaj stepped into the first corridor and started to wonder how to get through.

Napaj walked left, right, right, left, left, right, and was getting lot when he walked into a Labyrinth Tank.

"What the hell is that thing?!" he exclaimed as it attacked him. He dodged to the left and launched a fireball at it, "wounding" it greatly. But it ignored said wound and attacked again. This time Napaj jumped over it, slamming his fist on its top. He burst a hole in it and it caught on fire.

That should take care of it, he thought. He walked away as it exploded.

It was several minutes before he ran into another and took it out in a similar fashion. "I think I've got the hang of this," he said.

Unfortunatly for Napaj, the next one he ran into caught him off guard and shot him. "Oh son! That hurt!" he yelled, trying to be funny for his own sake. He reached for his sword, but remembered that it wasn't there, so he launched a really big fireball at it. It blew up. Napaj took a second to heal himself and continued on his way.

He reached the end, but the Gate Guardian blocked his path. He tried to sneak by it, but it shot a dark ball at him. It struck with devoustating precision. The darkness fizzed through him and caused much pain. "YOU SUCK!" he yelled as he hit the ground. He climbed to his feet and allowed his arms to be engulfed in fire. "You will go down."

The guardian struck out and Napaj blocked it with his arms. Napaj shot a quick fireball at it and then punched as hard as he could. The Guardian lifted a few feet in the air and Napj threw it down.

"This is pointless, get out of my way!" Napaj charged a beam of fire and turned his oponent to ash. "See, I told you."

Napaj walked up the stairs and saw that Myles wasn't there yet, so he picked up the battle axe and left the rapier for Myles. And so Napaj waited...

OoC:
Since you didn't pick the weapons, I did. I chose something that Myles could probably use too and gave me the different. So Myles, it's your turn.

OOC: Thanx Myles will have fun with a rapeir.
IC: As Myles went past the rows of bridges he past several sharpedos. He made short work of them with his stick.
"Easy." he said.
He than walked into a room. It had one weopon laid out on the table.
"Guess I'm not the only one here." said Myles.
"Smart one you are." said a familiar voice. "Guess you need wits to defeat my brother."
"He earned his honor. Napag." said Myles.
"You are a smart one." said Napag.
Myles picked up his weopon the rapeir on the table.
"Nice handling." said Myles.
He did a bunch of impressive moves with a sword.
"You are good." saod Napag.
"Lets keep this conversation going shall we." said Napag.
"Lets, but lets also get this battle going." said Napag.

OOC: So it begins.

OoC:
I'm gonna get onto you for the misspelling of my character's name. Napaj, you know, with a J! A note to people who did not read the duel between Myles and my other character, you should do that because it will be discussed.

BiC:
Napaj lifted the axe easily and swung at the lad. "So, how'd you do it? Beat my brother I mean."

Myles parried quickly and did a leap attack at Napaj, who nimbly dodged to the side. "He fell out of a tree. Why?"

"Well, he didn't seem too upset he lost." Napaj kicked after his dodge and the swung the axe, lightly cutting Myles. "Then again, it could be that you left him alive."

"I dunno. Nice hit, I wasn't expecting that," Myles replied, clutching his cut leg. He then jumped at Napaj's head, sword held ready, but Napaj would't go down that easily...

OoC:
I'll let you decide how I dodge.

OOC: oh good times good times
IC:"Well you could also say that I pushed Him out of the tree. Did he ever tell you why I hunted him down?" Replied Myles.
"No, what was it." Said Napag. Letting down his guard.
"Guards down!" yelled Myles and swung at his torso. This cut Napaj about three inches into the stomach.
"Oh my god. My stomach." said Napaj.
Myles saw that Napaj was bleeding furiously.
"Are you okay?" he asked.
"I'm not as bad as you will be." he said swiping the ax towards Myles Skull.
Myles ducked just barly getting away from the ax. Myles cut part of the handle off leaving just enough room for Napaj's hand to be on it.
"Well this helps." said Napaj.
He swung at Myles but Myles jumped ono the table with lightening speed. He than choped off the legs of the chair.

OoC:
I'm glad Napaj's a healer.

BiC:
"Steady on! Napaj kicked the severed chair legs into the air and at Myles. Napaj then kicked the table over while Myles was preoccupied. Myles hit the ground, stunning him, and blood started to seep from the back of his head.

Myles being a little groggy gave Napaj a chance to stop the bleeding. He packed the wound tight enough to make it a little uncomfortable, but he couldn't worry about that. Myles was getting up.

"Do you want to give up, or face more pain?" Napaj asked.

Myles reached for the woundon his head. "Let's fight a little more. I doubt I'll win, but hey. I'll give it my best."

Napaj couldn't help but smile at the young one's chivalry. "Sure." Napaj leaped in the air at the same time as Myles and dropped a fireball in the kid's face. It burned him a lot, but Napaj made sure that it wouldn't scar.

Napaj landed before Myles and ran up to him, holding his axe to the boy's neck. "Nice try, but you lose."

OoC:
I figured it's time for the other two combatants to fight and since you won last time...

OOC: Okay you can have it.
IC: Myles blocked the the Ax with his rapier but gave up.
"I'll let you have this. Just so you know you brother betrayed me. I owe you my life." Said Myles.
Myles rebuilt the table and left the rapier on it. He left and walked to the guard.
"I would like my weopon back." said Myles.
He recieved his weopon and walked to Napaj.
"I'll be rooting for you." Said Myles.
"Thank you." said Napaj.
Myles walked up to the stand and drew his sword.
"Go Napaj." yelled Myles.

OoC: Cool! That was fast, huh?

BiC: "AND WE HAVE A WINNER!" roared Reboot.
The roof of the room fell back and the floor lifted up, revealing the two warriors.
"CONGRATULATIONS!" said Reboot, hovering over to Napaj, "How does it feel to win?"
"Good, I suppose," said Napaj, with a grin on his face.
"Oh, don't look so bad," said Reboot to a disgruntled myles, "you fought well, and, if you're wanting to, you can at least try for third place!"
Whilst this was going on, Kodure turned to Su-Nina, "well, we're up!"
"Yeah, well, good luck, to the both of us." she muttered
Reboot hovered over:
"Now, for the next challenge, Su-Nina vs. Kodure!" yelled Reboot
"In this one, Kodure will have to brave a ten-foot long/deep pit, which contains a Hyrda! One of the nastiest creatures ever! Su_Nina will have to face a lake containg Gyorg, the nastiest fish ever!"
"Gyorg? That doesn't sound too hard!" laughed Nina.
"Did I mention that the exit is underwater?" sneered Reboot.
"I hate you..." sighed Su-Nina.

So, the warriors took their positions.

Ooc:Great! I get the multi-headed dragon!

Bic:"Ready, get set, go!" shouted Reboot. Kodure hopped into the large pit, but then, his necklace started to glow. He waited for his foe to show itself, but out of the darkness, a fireball flew straight toward him. Kodure quickly jumped out of the way.

"What the?!" shouted Kodure as he saw his foe walk out of the shadows. The hydra's three heads started to roar, and so did the crowd.

"Dude! This is so dangerous!" shouted Kodure as he dashed out of the way as one of the heads tried to bite him. Kodure then realized he had no weapon. "Aw man, I needed that sword the most right now!" he said as he dodged another attempt of the hyrda to eat him. Kodure then jumped up in the air and landed on the creature's back. The hydra then blew fire at him, but Kodure then raised up his fire shield, and blocked its attack.

He then quickly jumped onto one of the heads and waited for one to bite. One quickly attacked, so he jumped onto another one, and let it bite the other head. The creature was enraged, it kept on taking lunges, but Kodure jumped out of the way each time, to let the creature attack itself.
Then one of them got the opportunity it was waiting for. It snuck up on Kodure and swallowed him whole. The crowd gasped, and even the other contestants. The whole arena was silent for a moment.

"Well, looks like Kodure has been disquali...what the?!" said Reboot as he saw the hydra's stomach move around. The whole auditorium was filled with suspense. Then a metal object appeared to be cutting the hydra's neck off from the inside. Kodure quickly jumped out of the cut and dodged the falling head of the hydra. The crowd cheered, and Kodure wasn't paying attention to the beast behind him. The crowd changed thier expression back into a fearful one, and Kodure turned around and saw three more heads come out from where the one that fell off was.

"Oh..." whispered Kodure as he started to run away from his improved foe. It wasn't long before the creature caught up with him and lunged for a final bite. Most of the crowd screamed as the creature made the lunge. Right before the teeth made contact, Kodure raised his thunder shield and shocked the hydra, and it moved its heads back. It went again, but was met with the same amount of shock. Kodure then quickly dropped that shield and raised his earth one.

The hydra then made a final lunge, but in contact it broke its teeth. Then Kodure made cracks appear on the exterior of his shield, and then made it explode. Little pieces of the shield flew in all directions and pierced the skin of the beast, and it the roared in extreme pain. Kodure then raised and ice shield and dashed toward the creature, and slammed himself into it, causing ice to form on its body. The creature tried to blow fire to stopped the source, but Kodure transferred from the ice shield into a fire one to guard to ice. After the hydra saw it was futile, he raised his foot and slammed it down toward Kodure, after he switched back to the ice shield.

As the foot of the monster came down, Kodure raised his arms and grabbed it. With all his might, he pushed it back up and made it hit itself in the faces. He then continued to freeze him again. After Kodure saw what it was time to finish it off, he dropped the shield and pulled out his normal shield and sliced his way into the torso of the hydra. He continued to slice untill he came up the heart. He raised his shield with his bloody hands, and pierced the heart with the tip of the 'weapon', and blood gushed out. The hydra roared in horrible pain and fell down to the ground. The blood coming out was met with the ice forming around the hydra. Kodure ran out of the body, or he would be frozen inside. As the creature became completely engulfed in the ice, Kodure jumped out and landed, with his feet striaght on the ground.

"And the contestant wins!" announced Reboot as the crowd cheered wildly. Kodure then walked up to the table to pick a weapon.

"Finally, a weapon!" exclamed Kodure as he picked up the axe. "Looks like this suits me best." he said as he raised the fire shield and all the blood flew off of him.

Ooc:Man, that took a long time!

OoC: Cool.

After falling through the pit, Su-Nina landed on a platform in the middle of an underwater lake.
"Where's this ugly thing then?" she muttered to herself.

She looked around, but what she didn't noticed was that it was coming up behind her. It leapt out of the water over her head. her eyes widened and a subtitle appeared:
"Masked Giant Fish, GYORG"

Su-Nina began preparing an Iceberg Slam. Then she remembered she didn't have her staff.
"oops, I must've forgotten it," she said, flushing slightly.
Suddenly, she had an idea, there was one move she didn't need a staff for. She crouched down, then, as Gyorg leapt over her, she jumped and landed a Smooch onto gyrog's mask. Gyorg looked unhramed, but Nina began spitting.
"EW! WHAT A NASTY FLAVOUR!" she exclaimed, wiping her mouth and spitting the taste out.
Gyorg then slammed into the platform, knocking a dent into it. The dent was so big that Su-Nina was sent flying into the air.
"SHRINKAGE!" she screamed before plopping into the water.

Shrunk down, she swam around the platform, trying tp put as much distance between her and Gyorg as possible.
Suddenly, she noticed that Gyorg was happily munching on some smaller fish that he had found!
"HEY! WHY DON'T YOU PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE?!" she yelled.
Gyorg turned to stare at her.
"For the record, I'm much smaller then you," she said in a teeny tiny voice.
Gyorg swam at her, she screamed and ducked underneath Gyorg, and began buzzing towards the corridor that would help her get to the next area.
She heard gyrog swimming furiously behind her. She swam faster, legs wings and arms flailing like mad.

Suddenly, she flew out of the water, she panted and gasped for breath. Suddenly, Gyorg leapt out of the water, narrowly missing her with his mouth.
She yelped and dashed for her staff on the table. She returned to regular size and picked it up, then she turned to her opponent and struck a battle pose.

Ooc:Ok, let's get this started. Btw, sorry for taking too long, it's hard to manage 4 battles at once.

Bic:"Hello, do you have any idea how hard it is to fight a five-headed dragon?" asked Kodure.

"No, and I don't intend to." responded Su-Nina.

"Good, now prepare to fight its slayer!" shouted Kodure as he started to dash toward Su-Nina. He took a swing at her, but she jumped onto the axe, and kicked him in the face.

"Rrrrrr, i'll make you pay for that!" shouted Kodure as he ran up again. He then hit the ground with the axe, and an earthquake came into Su-Nina's direction.

Su-Nina saw the earthquake coming, panicked then though of a plan!
She saddled up and mounted her staff.
"FIERY FLAMES!" she yelled.
The flames exploded at the end of her staff, and she shot up, narrowly avoiding the earthquake.
Now, she spun her staff around, struck a pose and looked at her foe.
This boy's kinda cute, shame I'll have to beat him to a pulp she thought to herself, a small smile coming to her face. As her foe watched her, she realised she was tipping over Oh no, not again! she thought. She felt herself hit the ground.
Kodure burst out laughing. "This is going to be easier then fighting a lump of cheese!" he laughed.
Su-Nina flipped up and put her staff into the ground.
"HOF FOOT!" she yelled.
The floor began heating up, although kodure hadn't realised quite yet.

Bic: The floor started to heat up, and Kodure didn't realize. He then felt the heat fly toward his face, and he then looked at the ground.

"What the?!" the Kodure as he jumped up, and then stood in the air above the ground with the help of his boots. Then Su-Nina tried to attack. She pointed her staff at Kodure and fired a fireball at him. "Ok, enough being mr. calm," said Kodure as he raised his fire shield and blocked the blast. "Why do I have to go easy on you? I've fought mutants, elementals, wizards, mages, and even earlier, dragons!" said Kodure as he ran up to her and swung the axe with incredible power. She jumped back out of the way, and made Kodure miss and make a large whole in a wall of the arena.

Ooc: I'll let you decide what happens next.

OoC: Sorry for taking so long.

BiC: Kodure swung the axe, back and forth, repeatedly. Su-Nina dodged and blocked to the best of her ability. Suddenly, she slipped and fell.
"WAH!" she cried as she fell, the axe swung again.
She gasped as a whisp of hair fell to the ground.

She back-flipped and planted her staff in the ground.
"KAMIKAZE!" she screamed.
Kodure raised his earth shield in a hurry.
"PSYCHE!" she yelled, flipping up using the staff and flying towards him with a Dolphin Kick.
Kodure blocked the kick with the axe and swung again.

Suddenly, she dissapeared. He looked about for her and couldn't seem to find her anywhere.
What he didn't realise was that Su-Nina had used Shrinkage, now she was sat quite comfortably oh his head. but she was so light he didn't seem to have noticed...
