Fight amongst the Black Grasses. (one experienced fighter, please.)

OoC- This is just a simple one on one battle. I made it because I am really, really tired of obstacle course styled battles. Please don't battle me if you are a n00b fighter. I shall use Dais/Shivers for the fight, they only have one body, so it only counts as a single character. The link to the character is in my signature.


BiC- Dais's spiky metallic blue hair glimmered in the as he wandered a lonely looking dirt road, that must have been made by the constant interruption of horse's hooves. The night around was not quite pitch-black, but it was close. The dirt road branched off at several points, and Dais had to make a choice. He explored several of the paths and what they led to disturbed him even more. Skeletal remains of travelers from years long past decorated each dead end, horses and all. Shivers's voice came to his mind;

Oh, looky. Someone's had some fun, and they left us out. Why, the nerve!

Dais had to constantly retrace his steps, and he finally took one trail (the center one) that led to a stone wall, with a small crevice to get through. He slid through, and walked into the garden. The walls were made of ancient stone, and the plants were dead, yet they gently danced in the breeze. Dais clanked his gauntlets together, and looked around. The grass that grew in the floor of this garden was black, and the feeling of them against Shivers's hands a.k.a. Dais's feet wasn't very pleasant. A rustling noise alerted him.

"Show yourself!" He yelled.

OoC- The battle dome is mainly role playing and I’m no n00b at that. So I shall fight you. Link to character in sig and I will be using my only character Kage.

BiC- The half kitsune, half ice demon wondered down the same road Dai had taken. Her silver hair sparkled from the moonlight that shone down from the sky and her sapphire blue eyes looked darker than normal. She stopped walking and looked down at the ground, she saw foot prints along with horse’s hooves. She then looked from side to side and saw skeletal corpses on the ground. She then looked at her wolf friend that was traveling with her, smiling slightly as the wolf chewed on the bones of the bodies.

“That can’t be healthy for you, my friend.” Kage said to her wolf companion.

The wolf lowered its ears and walked back over to Kage’s side. It then barked slightly at her as he sniffed the dirt road. He then started to run down the path.

“Hey! Wait for me!” Kage said aloud as she ran and caught up with her friend. She then stopped as she looked around, but no longer saw her wolf friend. She looked confused and her fox ears twitched at the sound of someone talking. She jumped onto one of the halls that was grassy and found out that would’ve blown her cover. When she accidentally stood up she fell down from the wall and landed on the ground with a thud. “Ow…” Her four silver tails with black tips flickered once and her silver fox ears with black tips twitched a few times.

She then sat up and looked at Dai and laughed nervously. “Eh heh heh… Sorry for dropping in…” She said to Dai and then she stood up. She then brushed herself off and took off her black cloak and dusted it off as well and then placed it back on. "I didn't mean to cause any disturbance. But I was looking for someone to fight against." She told him with a slight smile.

OoC- Great! I almost thought no one would reply. Let's go.

Bic- Dais looked at the silver-haired demon, and scowled.

"Are you the one who killed all of these people?!" He asked, with anger in his voice.

"Me? I just got here!" She said, soundly slightly hurt.

"Forgive me, but I jumped to conclusions...I didn't see anyone else here, so..."

He bowed in apology.

She looked at him, and understood that he was being sincere.

"Apology accepted...so, you wanna fight?"

Beneath Dais's white robe, a voice rang out.

"Hyehehehehehe....Why, I'D LOVE TO!!!"

Dais's eyes rolled back in his head, and he did a backwards flip, and the long skirt of his flipped with him, and the other side of it was revealed to be black. Shivers looked at her, his long horns glinting in the moonlight. His glowing green eyes lit up the garden.
He bared his vicious fangs, and uttered a low chuckle. He drew his katana, and his arms lengthened. He swung his katana, and she prepared to dodge it.

OoC- Bring it on! Heheheh I wonder who will win… >.>

BiC- Kage vanished to dodge Shivers attack. She then made a sheathed katana appear at her side out of nowhere. She then took out the blade, it was a black crystal material and color, but it was a normal sized katana.

She then vanished again and appeared above Shiver and came down into a striking stance in the air and came down at him with her blade. But when she came down at Shivers, he blocked her attack with his own katana.

Kage looked a bit surprised that he was able to block her attack. Before he could strike at her and catch her off guard, she had jumped away and landed on her kitsune pawed feet.

“Heh. I must admit, you’re stronger than I expected.” Kage said to Shivers with a fangy grin.

OoC- Sorry it took a while to reply. I was a bit busy. ^^ and sorry if the post is a bit short. o_O

OoC- it's cool.

BiC- Shivers smiled, and his gauntleted "foot" rose up from underneath his long black skirt, and it made a thumbs-down. Shivers bowed until his long horns were pointed directly at her, and attempted to maul her with them. Kage ran to the side to dodge, but he suceeded to stab her shallowly in the side with the tip of his right horn. His muscles bulged with huge mass, and a sudden growth spurt rose him to an even greater size. He held his long katana with one hand, and held the other hand against the side of the blade. He slid his blade across his black flesh, and drew a droplet of blood. As Kage watched him, he quickly thumped the droplet through the air, and it nearly hit her wound.

"Damn it...my aim was never that great..." Suddenly he performed an involuntary flip, and Dais took over.

"Well, I'm a much better shot, so I'll take over." Dais's skin became scaly, exactly like a snake, and he hissed at Kage, and slammed hsi gauntlets together, taunting her.

Kage hissed back like a cat to Dais, showing her fangs that look like cats. Her tails started to flicker like a cat being mad. She then saw her wound and she sighed. "Healing Snowflakes!" She called out and snowflakes started to swirl around her and when they vanished, her wound was healed.

She then took out eight icicles and held them in between her fingers, two in between each. "Let's see if you can handle my... Ice Shards!" She called out as she threw the icicles she had at Dais.

Before they got to Dais, they all shattered into thousands of tiny but sharp shards and came in different directions at Dais.

OoC: I won't be able to reply after a couple days each, just so you know. ^^; and I'm sorry for my posts being short and such.

The icicle shards caught Dais off-guard, as he was noticing movement in the shadows. The sharp icy points made cuts all over his chest, tearing his shirt to ribbons. Dais, in all the confusion, looked as another demon soundlessly appeared behind Kage.

"Look out!" He cried in surprise, as she sent an icicle into his chest, thinking at first that he would attempt to dodge it. He toppled backwards, and Shivers attempted to reach for his katana. Kage tackled them both, and Shivers was able to stab her in the leg. She cried out in surprised pain, and got extremely angry. A clawed fist slammed into the back of her head, and she temporarily lost consciousness.

When she faintly awoke, she saw the back of Shivers's kimono. He was talking to the demons.

"You see, I was about to kill this weakling kitsune demon...and then you fellows showed up. Don't worry, she's nothing to worry about." Shivers cackled heartily. He scratched his side as he laughed.
Kage stayed silent, and kept her eyes half-shut, to fake that she wasn't conscious. She reached around her quietly with all limbs, and found her katana. She gripped it's handle with her foot, and looked at Shivers's back. A white blemish was visible beneath his kimono, and she aimed for it. She kicked the blade into his back with remarkable speed, and as it penetrated the white spot, a strange silence filled the night. Shivers' eyes were frozen in disbelief and pain, but no blood was spilt.

Without warning, the body Shivers and Dais shared split in twain. Two spheres of light, one black and one fading white with black splotches flew out of the two torsos, the splotched sphere reversing itself, turning black with small white splotches. The two spheres of dark light collided, becoming a single dark light, all of the surrounding demons that ambushed them earlier were pulled inwards, colliding with the two pieces of torso, merging into a single vessel. All but Kage was drawn in, for she had created a wall of ice which she used as a shield. As all of the demonic creatures converged, and the orbs within them merged with the larger sphere, it finally came to rest in the center of the body, causing a huge explosion of energy, destroying Kage's barrier and sending her flying backwards.

The figure that was made up of all the demons stepped out of a cloud of smoke. The creature looked down at it's body, and smiled in a reptilian way, its long fangs sticking out of it's scaly lips.

"Hmmm...I am newly born...I am my own creator...what shall I be known asss?" The creature hissed as it leered at Kage, who was lying in the distance.

"Fu...Fukkatsu Daiyu...that is who...I am." The creature looked at its beautiful onyx-colored scales, which were as hard as rock.

"Kuroiwa is my name for acqaintancessss..." The snake-like demon's kimono ruffled in the breeze as it looked around, and it gripped its katana. A dagger-like hookshot that one of the demons had been holding as it merged was also in the sleeve of the creature's clothing, and it smiled as it felt the object in the cloth.

"Kage....Sssshadow....will you continue?"

Kage weakly stood up and used a nearby wall to help her up. She glared at the newly Fukkatsu Daiyu. Her icy sapphire eyes where lighter than before and she then winced slightly. I have to heal myself... but will he attack me off guard? She thought to herself as her tails where up straight, shaking slightly and her fox ears lowered down as if sad. She can see him a bit faintly, her vision started to blur slightly. "Healing Snowflakes!" She called out and once again snowflakes swirled around her, healing all wounds she had.

"Yes... I want to continue our fight." She said to him. Now I only have enough power to do my strongest ice attack on him... it would be a miracle if I win this fight... She then glanced at her katana that was near by Fukkatsu, then looked back at him. "So... this fight is still on Fukkatsu." She said to him. She then vanished and appeared next to her katana and before Fukkatsu could attack her, she vanished with her blade in hand.

"Fox illusions!" She then called out as many different images of herself appeared around Fukkatsu. Each illusion looked like the real thing, but only one of them was the real one.

Please let this distract him for a while....

OoC: Gomen (sorry) this is short, but my time was limited, I might add more on, but right now I really can't. Gomen!

The wicked snake-like demon looked as the illusions stared him down.

"How ssssweet, child. You take me assss a fool. Using these false imagesss to confuse me. This farce won't ssssave you, girl." As he said this, Daiyu's right arm stretched even longer than it was before, and it coiled as if it were a snake itself. The wicked demon's hand pulled back, then sent a powerful punch that swung in a circle, destroying all of the illusions, and knocking Kage through the air. As she flew, she was preparing to use her greatest ice technique, but as soon as she hit the ground, the creature called Kuroiwa, a.k.a. Fukkatsu, spoke in a burning voice:

"I bet a frozen weakling like you wouldn't appreciate heating things up a bit?!" As he said this, Fukkatsu's hands began to glow red, as many large discs composed of flames appeared, floating above his hands. His flaming barrage technique was now in effect. As Kuroiwa nodded his head, the floating discs of flame flew directly at Kage, attempting to burn her.

Kage dodged the first one, being very agile. She had to use a bit of her remaining ice magic to slow down the second ring enough for her to dodge it. the final, and third flaming attack struck her in the back, and she fell to the ground. Daiyu landed beside her, smiling.

"would you like me to go easier on you?" He murmured. She looked up at him, ready to use her ultimate ice move.

Kage winced from the burn on her back. She weakly got to stand up, blood from the burn on her back dripping down to the ground. She looked up at Daiyu, almost looking about to faint. She then vanished to a distance and started to do a slight dance.

"Ice Shard Dance!" She called out and thrusted her hand in front of her. Lots of tiny and sharp ice shards swirled around Daiyu at a great speed.

"I... can't.... win...." She said aloud before she collasped onto the ground. Her last bit of energy was gone, she had used it all on this battle. After the sound her her collasping was heard, different kinds of animals came to her side. Some tried to wake her up, some licked her face, and a couple tired to stop the bleeding burn on her back.

The hundreds of shards of ice surrounded Daiyu, swirling faster and faster, slicing sharply at his extremely tough, scaly skin. he yelled out as the wings the hawk demon's power bestowed upon him were torn to shreds, blood spraying in all directions. Even his tough scales were starting to be sliced by this onslaught of icy fury. he placed his gauntleted hands on his face, to shield him from the powerful technique. He toppled to the ground, his wounds bleeding severely. After several moments, he was able to stand on his feet. He then walked over to the fallen Kage.

"You...were sssstronger than I thought....you have my respect." He didn't know if Kage had heard him, but he shuffled off into the darkness nontheless. the animals around Kage watched as he descended into the light shadows of the early morning, katana in hand.

OoC- That was a great fight. Perhaps we should have a rematch sometime?

OoC- Any time! Just challenge me and I will be there for the rematch! heh heh

BiC- The wolf that was with Kage when they first came here, growled at Daiyu as he faded into the darkness.

The early morning sun peaked up and raised into the sky. It's blinding light slightly woke Kage. Her eyes where slightly open as she looked at her animal friends who where around her. A faint smile came across her face, "I.... want a... rematch...." She said in a whisper which carried out in the breeze that came by. She tried to stand up but fell back down to the ground, she was still very weak and couldn't move.

"I guess.... I'll stay here until I heal..." She said to her friends as she then started to fall back asleep, laying there on ice cold ground and her animal friends where there with her this time.
